3. Setting Up Your Midjourney Account: Begin by setting up your
Mid Journey account. To start, open your
web browser and head over to the official
Mid Journey website. You'll see a button
that says sign up. Click that, and it will direct you to sign in with Discord, which is the
platform Mid Journey uses to interact with its users. If you don't already
have a Discord account, you'll need to create one first. Don't worry. Discord is
free and easy to set up. Once you've signed into Discord, you'll be invited to join
the Mid journey server. Click Accept Invite to join the community where
you'll interact with the AI and other users. Now that you're in, let's talk about the different
subscription plans. MID Journey offers a
few subscription plans that you can choose
from depending on how much you plan
to use the tool. If you want to create more art or unlock additional features, you can upgrade to a paid plan. The basic plan offers more image generations and
quicker processing times while the standard plan
and the pro plan come with additional perks
like higher image resolution, priority in the Queue, and access to more
advanced features. You're serious about
creating a lot of AIRt, you might find one of these paid plans
worth the investment. Additionally, Mid
Journey recently introduced Alpha features
for subscribers, which include access to cutting edge updates and advanced tools before they're
available to everyone. It's an exciting option if you want to stay on the
forefront of AIRt. Now let's explore the Mid
Journey Discord server. Once you're on the Mid
Journey discord server, you'll see various channels listed on the left
side of the screen. These channels are where
all the magic happens. You can generate AIR, interact with the community, and explore new features. For now, let's focus on a few key channels
to get you started. Hashtag newbies. This is the perfect place
to practice and learn. You'll be able to enter
your prompts here and see the results as Mid journey
generates your artwork. You can also watch how
others use prompts, which is a great way
to get you inspired. Hashtag announcements. Here, you'll find
updates on new features, contests and important news
from the Mid journey team. Hash tag Showcase. This is where users
share their best work. It's a great place to see what's possible and gather ideas
for your own projects. Now that you're familiar
with the main channels, let's discuss an option for a more personalized
experience adding the Mid journey boat to your own private discourse server. If you prefer a quieter, more personal space to generate AIR or collaborate
with a small team, you can add the Mid journey boat to your own discourse server. This way, you'll have full
control over where you create and who sees your
images. Here's how you do it. First, if you don't
have a private server, you'll need to create one. Go to your Discord
homepage and click the plus sign on the left
to create a new server, name it and customize
it to your liking. Once your server is up, you can invite the
Mid journey boot. To do this, go back to the Money Discord server
and type slash Invite in the Hashtag boot
Commands channel. You'll receive a link to invite the bot to your server.
Click the link. Choose your server from the list and authorize the bot to join. Now you can use the bot in your own private channels just like you would
in the public ones. Simply type slash Imagine
followed by your prompt, and Mid Journey will generate your artwork in your server. This option gives you a
more personal space to experiment and refine your art without the activity
of a larger server. Before we wrap up, let's
quickly talk about how subscription tiers work and the difference with
Mid Journey Alpha. As mentioned
earlier, Mid Journey offers different
subscription tiers that grant access to different features and
image generation limits. Upgrading to a paid plan unlocks
faster image processing, more generations and
access to new features. One exciting option for paid subscribers is
Mid journey Alpha, which allows you to test and
use advanced features early. This is perfect if you love
experimenting with new tools or want to stay at
the cutting edge of AI art. That's
it for Lesson two. You have now set up your
Mid journey account, explored the
subscription options, and learned how to navigate
the discord server. You are all set and
ready to start creating. In the next lesson, we will
jump right into crafting. Your first prompts and
generating AI art. I can't wait to see
what you come up with.
4. Understanding Basic Prompts: Come back. Now that your Mid journey
account is all set up, it's time to dive into one of the most important aspects
of creating AI art, understanding how to
craft effective prompts. In this lesson, we will
cover what prompts are, how to structure them, and we'll even do some
hands on practice. Before we begin, let
me remind you that every image you create in mid journey starts
with a prompt. Prompts are the
instructions you give the AI to tell it what kind of image
you want to generate. The more thought and detail
you put into your prompts, the more control you'll
have over the final image. Now let's explore the basics. So what exactly is a prompt? A prompt is simply a description that tells
the AI what to create. It can be as simple or
as detailed as you want. For example, you
could type a tree, and the AI will generate
an image of a tree. Every prompt you
create will follow the command slash Imagine, which tells Mid Journey that you're ready to
generate an image. So you'll always start by typing Imagine followed by
your description or prompt. For example, lash, imagine
a mystical tree in a dark forest with glowing
leaves under a full moon. Now, let's break down the basic structure
of a good prompt. A well crafted prompt typically includes
three main components, the subject, the style, and descriptive adjectives.
Let's look at each one. Number one, the subject. This is the core of your image, the main thing you
want to generate. It could be anything from a landscape to a
person or an object. For example, a futuristic city, a portrait of a tiger or a
beautiful mountain range. Two, style. The style tells the AI how you want the
image to look artistically. Do you want it to
look like a painting, a photograph, or
something abstract? You can add instructions like
in the style of watercolor, photo realistic or surreal. Adjectives. These are
descriptive words that help refine
the image further. Adjectives add
details like mood, color, texture or lighting. For example, you might
say bright and colorful, dramatic shadows or
soft and peaceful. When you combine these elements, you give the AI a clear
picture of what you want. For example, a futuristic cityscape at night
in the style of digital art with neon lights
and sleek skyscrapers. Now it's time for some
hands on practice. Let's create a few
prompts together. Start by thinking of
a simple subject. Let's go with a beach at sunset. Next, let's add a style. How about in the style
of an oil painting? Now we will refine
the prompt with some adjectives
like warm colors. Gentle waves and a
calm atmosphere. Go ahead and enter
that prompt into the mid journey Discord channel and let the AI
generate your image. Take a moment to observe how this subject style and adjectives influence
the final result. Let's try another
one. This time, let's get a bit more creative. Think of a fantasy concept like a dragon flying over a castle. For the style let's go with dark fantasy art for adjectives, let's add stormy skies, dramatic lighting,
and glowy eyes. Remember, the key to crafting great prompts is
experimentation. Try adding more adjectives, different styles or even combining two subjects
into one prompt. For example, a tiger running
through a futuristic city or a spaceship landing
in a desert in the style of a
1970s sci fi film. The more you practice, the
better you'll get at guiding the AI to create exactly
what you envision. It's all about exploring and having fun with
the possibilities. Before we wrap up, let's talk
about refining your images. If the image isn't quite
what you imagined, you can always tweak your
prompt again and again. Maybe you need to
add more detail to the subject or change the style to fit what
you're looking for. Sometimes small adjustments
like changing calm to stormy or bright to moody can make a big
difference in the final image. Another tip is to use
variations and remixes, which we will explore
in the next lesson. These tools let you create
multiple versions of your image or adjust specific elements to get
closer to what you want. Congrats. You've now
learned how to structure basic proms and how to
generate images on your own. In the next lesson, we will go over the tools
that mid journey provides, like upscaling and
remixing to help you fine tune your artwork and explore new creative
possibilities.
5. Upscaling, Variations, & Remixing: Now we're going to
explore some of the exciting tools
that Mid Journey offers to help you refine and enhance your AI
generated artwork. Specifically, we will
look at upscaling, creating variations,
and remixing images. These tools allow you to tweak your creations and take
them to the next level. By the end of this lesson, you'll know how to use
these features to improve the quality of your images and explore creative
alternatives. Let's start with the
upscaling feature. After you generate an
image in mid journey, you'll notice a series of buttons that appear
beneath the image. These buttons are essential
for refining your artwork, and one of the most commonly
used is the upscale button. Upscaling increases
the resolution and detail of your image, making it clearer
and more polished. Each image in Mid journey starts as a low
resolution draft, which is perfect
for quick previews. But if you want a
higher quality version, upscaling is the way to go. You'll see the upscale
buttons labeled one, two, three, and four. These correspond
to the four images that Mid journey generates
in response to your prompt. For example, if you want to
upscale the first image, you will click U one. If you prefer the
second image, you two. And so on. Once you
click an upscale button, mid journey will take a
few moments to process, and then you'll receive a
higher resolution version of the selected image. You'll notice that the details are crisper and more defined. Upscaling is great
when you're happy with the overall composition of the image and just want
to enhance the quality. You can also save or download your upscaled image if you
find one that you want to use. Now let's move on to variations. Sometimes you might like the
general idea of an image, but you'll want to maybe see
a few different takes on it. That's where the variation
feature comes in. Next to the upscale buttons, you'll see the V one, V two, V three, and V four buttons, which correspond to the
four images generated, just like the upscale buttons. When you click a variation
button, let's say V two, Mid journey will create several new images based
on the second image, but with slight changes. It's like asking the AI to explore alternative versions
of the same concept. Variations allow you
to experiment and see different interpretations
of your prompt without starting from scratch. For example, if you generated a beautiful forest
scene but want to see different
lighting or composition, you can click a variation button and explore new possibilities. Now let's talk about remixing. Remix feature allows you to take an image you've
generated and tweak specific elements of
the original prompt to generate a new
version of the image. This is especially useful if you like parts of
the image but want to adjust certain details
like changing the colors, adding new elements, or
modifying the style. To enable remixing,
you'll need to turn on the remix mode
in your settings. Once enabled, every time you
click a variation button, Mid Journey will ask you to edit your prompt before
generating new images. For example, let's say you
generated a portrait of a cat, but you want the cat to
be wearing sunglasses. In remix mode, you can
simply add wearing sunglasses to your prompt
before creating variations, and mid journey will update the image based on
your new input. This gives you a lot
of creative control, allowing you to fine tune your artwork with
specific adjustments. You can also remix your image by adjusting the style
or atmosphere. If you originally
created a vibrant, colorful landscape but
want to see what it looks like with a
darker moodier vibe, you can tweak the adjectives
in your prompt and create a whole new version of the image while keeping
the core idea intact. Let's put it all together
with a quick exercise. Imagine you've
generated an image of a mountain range using
the prompt slash Imagine a majestic mountain range as sunrise with mist rolling
through the valleys. You like the overall look, but now you want to refine it. First, try upscaling, one of the images to see the
details more clearly. Choose the image
you like best and click the corresponding
upscale button. Next, if you want to explore
some creative alternatives, click the variation
button to generate new images based on the
one you've upscaled. You might get some
interesting new takes on the composition or lighting. Finally, turn on remix mode and tweak your original prompt. Maybe you want to add snow capped peaks or change
the time of day to sunset. This way, you can see how
small changes in your prompt can completely
transform the image while maintaining
the same subject. These tools, upscaling,
variations and remixing are essential for refining your AI generated art. They allow you to
improve image quality, explore different
creative paths, and make precise
adjustments to your work. Next step, we will explore
more advanced parameters and how to use them to fine tune
your images even further. I'm excited to see what you will create using
these new tools.
6. Midjoureny Alpha Parameters: Hi. This lesson is about the parameters in
Mid journey Alpha. We are going to
dive into some of the more advanced tools
available in mid journey. Specifically, focusing
on the Alpha parameters. These features give you even more control over
your AI generated images, allowing you to
fine tune details and create even more
precise results. By the end of this lesson, you'll know how
to access and use features like very
strong, very subtle. And other advanced options, that will take your creations to the next level. Let's jump in. When you generate an
image in mid journey, you may have noticed several
options under your image, like, very strong
and very subtle. These tools are part of the Alpha features and
allow you to tweak the image in ways that basic upscaling and
variation don't offer. Let's start with very strong. When you click on Very Strong, journey will take your
current image and create a significantly
different version of it. It's a powerful way to remix an image if you want
to keep some elements, but also introduce
substantial changes. For example, if you've created a landscape but want to see
a much more dramatic shift, like changing the time
of day, the mood, or even the composition, very strong is your tool. It gives the AI more freedom to reinterpret your
original concept. On the other hand, very
subtle does the opposite. This option makes small
delicate changes to your image, keeping the overall
feel and composition, but adjusting little details. It's perfect when you're happy with the general
look of your image, but want to refine
certain aspects like adjusting the lighting,
colors or textures. For example, if your
image is almost perfect, but you want to make
the colors pop just a little more or make
the shadows softer, very subtle is the way to go. Use these features, simply hover over the image
you've generated, and you'll see the
options appear. Click on very strong if you want more dramatic changes or very subtle if you want fine
tuned adjustments. Now let's move on to
the Options button located at the
bottom right corner of your generated image. When you hover over the right
hand side of the image, you'll notice an icon that
opens up more options. Clicking on this
gives you access to additional tools for managing
your image and workflow. This is especially useful
when you're working with multiple versions of
an image and need more advanced control
over the results. You can use these
options to re roll your prompt to see a
completely new interpretation, download the image at a higher resolution or
different aspect ratio, or view prompt details, which shows you exactly how Mid Journey interpreted
your prompt, including any parameters or adjustments that were
automatically applied. These advanced tools
help you better understand how the AI processes your input and
allows you to make more informed adjustments
for future prompts. Now let's explore
another useful feature. Return to use. The return to use button
is a handy tool when you're working on a project and want to keep
the momentum going. Let's say you've generated a few images and you're close to getting the
result you want, but there's just one
last detail to tweak. Instead of starting
from scratch, you can use return to
use to keep refining the same image while preserving
the aspects you like. This feature lets you go back to earlier images and continue
working with them, which can save time
and help you achieve the perfect result without losing the progress you've made. Now that we've covered
the main Alpha features, let's review the steps to access and use them effectively. One, after you've
generated an image, hover over the
image and look for the very strong and
very subtle options. Choose very strong for
significant changes. And very subtle for smaller,
more delicate tweaks. If you need more control, click on the Options button on the bottom right
of your image. This opens up advanced
tools like downloading, re rolling, or viewing
prompt details. Let's take a moment to practice. Try generating an image
using any prompt you like, perhaps something a majestic
castle on a cliff at sunset. Once the image is generated, hover over it and explore
the Alpha options. Click very strong to see how dramatically the AI can
reinterpret the castle. Then use very subtle to make smaller adjustments to
another version of the image. Play around with these options and see how different
each result can be. If you're happy with an image, but need to tweak
a final detail, try using the return to use option to build on
what you've created. By mastering these
Alpha features, you'll have far greater control over your AI generated art. You'll be able to push your
creations in a new direction, refine your ideas, and bring your artistic vision to
life with precision. In the next lesson, we will take an even
deeper dive into advanced prompting
techniques where we will explore how
to use subjects. Lighting, viewpoint, and more to create complex and
detailed images. I'll see you there.
7. Advanced Prompting: Welcome back. We're
going to take a deep dive into advanced
prompting techniques. You've already learned
the basics of crafting prompts with subjects,
styles, and adjectives, but now we'll go a step
further by introducing more complex elements like lighting, viewpoint,
and setting. These advanced techniques will give you even more control over your AI generated art and help you create detailed
and compelling images. By the end of this lesson, you'll have a better
understanding of how to structure
your prompts. Guide the AI into creating specific intricate results.
Let's get started. To begin, it's important to
understand that mid journey works a lot like a
large language model. It processes your words and builds images based on the
concepts you describe. This means the AI responds to detailed and layered prompts, especially when you think about the key elements that
make up a great image. Let's break it down
into a few key areas. Subject, setting,
lighting, and viewpoint. First, let's talk about subject. This is where you
start your prompt, describing what the main
focus of your image will be. The subject could be
anything from a person or object to a scene or action. When crafting advanced prompts, start with the core concept, what you want the
image to represent. For example, a majestic tiger. A futuristic city or an
ancient temple in the jungle. It's important to begin with
the main subject because this is what the AI will
center your image around. So if your concept
is focused on a cat, make sure cat or tiger comes at the
beginning of your prompt. Once you have the subject, you can start adding
more layers to your prompt to shape the
environment and mood. Next, let's talk about setting. The setting provides
the environment where your subject exists. This could be a location, a time of day, or even
a specific atmosphere. For instance, if you're
generating an image of a tiger, the setting could be
in a dense forest or on a snowy mountain
peak at sunrise. The setting helps
the AI understand the context of the scene and
adds depth to your image. You can also get more detail by specifying things like
weather conditions, surrounding elements, or even the mood you're
trying to evoke. For example, a
futuristic city with neon lights or a serene forest
bathed in morning mist. Here's an example of a prompt that combines
subject and setting, a majestic tiger walking through a dense
forest at sunset. Now let's move on to lighting. Lighting is one of the
most powerful tools you have to control the mood and
visual impact of your image, whether it's soft and natural,
dramatic or cinematic. Lighting can completely change the look and feel
of your artwork. You can describe different types of lighting in your prompts. For example, you might specify golden hour lighting for
a warm glowing effect, dramatic shadows for a
high contrast moody look, or soft diffused lighting for a calm and
gentle atmosphere. For instance, let's
say that you're creating an image of
a mountain range, a prompt like a
mountain range at sunrise with golden hour
lighting and long shadows. We'll guide the AI to create
an image with a warm, soft glow and strong contrasts, emphasizing the beauty of
the early morning light. The more specific you
are with lighting, the more control you have over the final mood and
feel of your image. Now let's look at viewpoint. The viewpoint determines
the perspective or angle from which
the subject is viewed. You can think of it like the camera's position
when taking a photo, is the viewer looking
down at the subject, looking up from below or
seeing it from eye level. For example, in a
portrait of a person, you might specify close
up portrait to get a more intimate image or wide angle shot to capture more of the
surrounding environment. In a landscape scene, you might say aerial view or from the base of the
mountain looking up. Viewpoint gives the AI a sense of how the subject should
be framed in the image, which can drastically change the composition
and overall feel. Here's an example that
combines subject, setting, lighting,
and viewpoint. Flash, imagine a majestic eagle soaring over a mountain range seen from a low angle with golden hour lighting and miss rolling through
the valleys. Now that we've covered
these advanced elements, let's put it all together
with some practice. Start by thinking of a subject, something specific,
like a medieval night. Then add a setting such as standing on a battlefield
after the rain. Next, describe the lighting. Maybe you want moody
overcast lighting with dramatic shadows. Finally, consider
the viewpoints, perhaps seen from below or
looking up at the night. Type that into mid
journey and watch how the AI brings
your vision to life. Take note of how each
element you added, subject, setting, lighting, and viewpoint
shaped the final result. Finally, let's talk about refining and tweaking
your outputs. If the image you generated isn't quite right, don't worry. You can always go back
and adjust your prompt. Sometimes small changes
like specifying the type of lighting or changing
the viewpoint can make a huge difference. For example, if the night image isn't as dramatic
as you had hoped, you could tweak the prompt to include lightning
in the background or a close up shot of the knight's face with
raindrops on his helmet. Refining your
prompts is all about experimenting and being specific about the details you want. Also, keep in mind
that mid journey, like other AI tools,
works with concepts. So the more clear and
focused your concepts are, better the results will be. Think of it as
collaborating with the AI. You provide the
vision, and it does the heavy lifting in bringing
that vision to life. And that wraps up our lesson
on advanced prompting. You have now learned how to use subject, setting, lighting, and viewpoints to create more detailed and
complex AI art. Next, we will dive into different styles and themes
where you will learn how to replicate artistic styles and create unique variations
of your concepts. I can't wait to see
the amazing art you will create with
these new techniques.
8. Exploring Styles & Themes: Now we're going to
dive into one of the most creative
aspects of Mid journey. Exploring different styles
and themes in your AI art. By the end of this lesson, you'll know how to incorporate different styles
into your prompts. Experiment with
popular themes and generate multiple variations
of a single concept. Let's get started. First,
let's talk about art styles. One of the most
exciting features of mid journey is its ability to mimic or replicate the styles of various artists and
artistic movements. Whether you want your image to look like a classic
oil painting, a minimalist drawing or
a surrealist dreamscape. You can specify an art style in your prompt to
achieve that look. For example, if you want your image to look like it
was painted by Van Gogh, you could add in this style
a van googh to your prompt. The AI will then generate an image with bold brushstrokes, vibrant colors and swirling patterns reminiscent of Van
Gogh's signature style. Let's try a quick example. Imagine you want to generate an image of a sunflower field. You could type slash
Imagine a field of sunflowers in the style of Van go with vibrant
swirling brushstrokes. Notice how adding
a specific style dramatically changes the
appearance of the image. You can also replicate other famous styles
like impressionism, cubism, or even
modern digital art. Here's another example slash Imagine a bustling
city street at night in the style of
impressionism with soft blended colors and
atmospheric lighting. Adding a specific
style to your prompt gives your image a completely
different feel and texture. It's a great way to experiment and explore
new aesthetics. Now let's explore themes. A theme can be
anything that shapes the overall tone or
mood of your artwork. For example, you could
explore themes like fantasy. Sifi horror or surrealism. Let's say you want to create
an image of a castle. The theme you choose
can completely change how the castle
looks and feels. For example, a fantasy theme might result in a
mystical, glowing castle. On the other hand,
a horror theme could turn that same castle into a dark ominous fortress surrounded by fog
and stormy skies. Here's a simple example. Imagine a castle on a hill in a dark horror theme with stormy
skies and eerie lighting. By specifying a theme give the AI more direction
in terms of atmosphere, setting, and emotional tone. Themes can be as broad as fantasy or sci fi or as specific as a retro futuristic city or a steampunk airship
floating through the clouds. Another example could be slash Imagine a futuristic
city skyline at night in a sci fi theme with neon lights
and flying cars. Notice how the theme influences not just the style but the whole mood and
setting of the image. One of the most
powerful features of Mid journey is the ability to combine different styles and themes in a single prompt. This allows you to create highly original
and unique pieces of art by blending
different aesthetics. For example, you could
mix cubism with fantasy or combine surrealism with
a retro futuristic theme. Let's say you want to create
an image of a dragon. Instead of just a
traditional fantasy theme, you could combine it with a
style of art like cubism. Flash Imagine a dragon flying
over a mountain range in the style of cubism with sharp geometric shapes and
a vibrant fantasy theme. This approach allows
you to create visually striking and
unexpected combinations. Experimenting with
different styles and themes opens up limitless
possibilities for creativity. Now let's talk about creating variations of a single concept. One of the best ways to
explore multiple styles and themes is to generate several
versions of the same image, each with a different approach. For example, you could create one version
of an image with a realistic style art and another version using a
surreal abstract style. Let's say you want to create
an image of a forest. First prompt could be flash, imagine a peaceful
force at sunset in a realistic style with soft lighting and vivid details. Then you could create a second version of
the same concept, but with a completely
different style and theme. For example, flash imagine
a peaceful forest at sunset in a surreal,
abstract style with dream like
shapes and colors. Mid Journey's ability to
generate variations allows you to explore multiple
interpretations of the same subject, helping you discover new
and unexpected outcomes. To wrap up this lesson, let's put everything together. I encourage you to choose a
subject that excites you. Maybe it's a landscape, an animal or a city scene, and then experiment with applying different
styles and themes. Here's the challenge. Start with a single prompt like a
mountain range at sunrise, then create three different
versions of the same image. In the first version, try a realistic style with soft
lighting and warm colors. In the second version, use a surrealist theme with
dream like shapes and colors. And for the third version, try an impressionist art style with soft blended brush strokes. This exercise will help you see how different styles and themes influence
the final image, and it will open up new possibilities for
your creativity. You've now learned how to
replicate various art styles, apply different themes, and create multiple variations
of a single concept. In the next lesson,
we will explore Mid journey's
advanced settings and dive into the technical side of tweaking and
refining your images. I'll see you there.
9. Discord Settings & Commands: Welcome back. Let's
take a closer look at the discord settings
and commands that are crucial for working
effectively with Mid journey. Understanding how to use these tools will help you
customize your experience. Generate more precise
images and experiment with advanced features like aspect ratios and
different modes. By the end of this lesson, you will know how to access and adjust key settings as well as use advanced commands to enhance your artwork.
Let's get started. First, let's talk about the settings command
in mid journey. This command allows
you to adjust important parameters that affect how the AI generates
your images. To access the settings, all you need to do is
type slash settings into any Discord channel where you interact
with mid journey. Once you type that command, a list of options will
appear giving you more control over your
image generation. Let's walk through the most important settings you'll see. Number one, aspect ratio. AR. This setting allows you to change the dimensions
of your image. By default, mid journey
generates images in a square format one
by one aspect ratio. But you can specify other
ratios like three by two, 16 by nine, or even four by five depending on the kind of composition you're going for. For example, if you want to generate a wide landscape sem, you could use the
command AR 16 by nine. Two, quality Q. The quality setting lets
you adjust how much time and processing power the AI uses to
create your image. A higher quality
setting takes longer, but produces more
detailed results. Can type two to increase the
quality or use a lower value like 0.5 if you want faster,
less detailed results. Keep in mind that higher quality can take longer to generate, but it's great for
complex detailed images. Stylize S. The stylized
setting controls how much influence the AI's built in artistic style
has over your image. A high stylized
value, for example, S 1,000 will make the AI's artistic
choices more prominent. Resulting in a more
abstract or creative image. On the other hand, a low
stylized value, for example, as 50 will make the AI stick more closely to the
exact details of your prompt. You can use this
setting to balance creativity and control
in your images. Now let's explore
the different modes available in Mid journey. Mid journey offers several modes that change how the
AI generates images. One of the most
popular is Niji mode, which is great for generating
anime style artwork. You're working on
a project with a more animated or
stylized aesthetic, this mode can help you achieve
that look effortlessly. To activate the Niji mode, all you have to do is add the Niji command at the
end of your prompt. For example, slash Imagine a futuristic city scape
with neon lights, Niji. This will guide
the AI to generate your image in an
anime inspired style. In addition to Niji mode, there are also fast
and relax modes, which help you balance speed
and image generation limits. Fast mode generates
images quickly but uses more of your
available image generations. Relax mode takes longer, but doesn't count against your
monthly generation limit, which is great if
you're working on larger projects or exploring ideas without worrying
about your usage. To toggle between
fast and relax modes, simply type fast or
slash relax in discord, and Md Journey will adjust your image processing
speed accordingly. Now let's explore some
additional advanced settings and commands that will help you get more creative with your images. Number one, chaos. This setting allows
you to control the level of randomness
in your image. If you want more unpredictable
creative outputs, you can increase
the chaos level. For example, typing chaos 50 will introduce
more randomness to the image generation process, resulting in unexpected and often highly creative outcomes. Number two, no. Then command is used to exclude certain elements from
your image. For instance, you're generating
a landscape but don't want any
trees in the scene, you can type no trees at
the end of your prompt. This tells the AI to leave out the specific element you don't
want in your final image. This is a powerful tool when you want more control over
the details in your art. Number three, dash tile. The dash dash tile command creates seamless
repeating patterns, which is perfect for
generating wallpapers, textures or patterned designs. Just add the dash dash tile at the end of your
prompt and the AI will ensure that the
edges of your image align perfectly
for repeatability. Number four, dash video. This experimental
features generates short video clips based
on your image prompt, adding an animated element
to your AI creations. Although this feature is
still in development, it's an exciting way to explore
AI generated animations. Now that you've seen the range of settings and
commands available, let's do a quick practice. Imagine you want to create an image of a peaceful
forest in autumn. You might start with
this basic prom. Imagine a peaceful forest in
autumn with golden leaves. Now, let's customize it by using some of the
commands we just covered. If you want a wide
cinematic view, you can add an aspect ratio. Slash Imagine a peaceful forest in autumn with golden leaves. AR 16 by nine. Next, if you want a more artistic and abstract
interpretation, you could adjust the
stylized setting. Imagine a peaceful forest in
autumn with golden leaves, AR 16 by nine. As 100. Finally, if
you're looking for faster results and Art concerned about generating
detailed outputs, switch to fast mode by typing flash fast before
entering your prompt. Try experimenting
with these settings, and notice how each change
affects the final image. Congrats. You've now
learned how to adjust your discord settings and use advanced
commands to control. How Md journey
generates your images. Mastering these
tools, you can fine tune your artwork and experiment
with different styles. Modes and parameters to create
something truly unique. Next up, we will dive into
Alpha settings where you will learn even more about
how to tweak image sizes, aesthetics and personal
preferences to learn how to take your
creations to the next level.
10. Midjourney Alpha Settings: Hi. Are you ready to dive into the powerful Alpha
settings in Mid journey? These advanced tools give
you more control over your images by letting you adjust details like image size, aesthetics and even
the AI mode itself. By the end of this lesson, you will learn how to
use Alpha settings. To personalize your
creations and push the boundaries of what's
possible with Mid journey. Let's get started. The Alpha
settings in Madjourney are advanced options
that allow you to tweak key aspects
of your artwork. These settings include
controlling image size, adjusting aesthetic stylization, choosing different modes, and adjusting the speed
of image generation. To access the Alpha settings, you'll need to have
a subscription that includes access to
Alpha features. Once you're set, you can start using these
options in your prompts. Let's break down the most
important Alpha settings, starting with image
size. Image size. By default, Mid journey generates images in
a square format, but the Alpha settings
allow you to choose other image sizes to suit
your creative vision. You can generate
portrait, landscape, or square images depending on the type of artwork
you want to create. If you're creating a portrait, use the aspect ratio
command AR two by three or AR three by four
for a vertical format. Is great for
character portraits, close ups or anything that
needs a taller canvas. For landscape
images, use AR 16 by nine or AR three by two to
get a wide panoramic view. This is ideal for landscapes, wide angle cityscapes,
or scenes where you want to show a lot
of horizontal space. Can always stick with the
classic square format if you want a balanced versatile
image. Here's an example. If you want to generate a portrait of a
futuristic warrior, you could type slash Imagine
a futuristic warrior standing in a neon lit
city AR two by three. The AR two by three command will give you a
tall vertical image perfect for character work. Experiment with different
aspect ratios to see how changing the image size
affects your compositions. Aesthetics, stylization,
weirdness and variety. Now let's talk about
aesthetic settings, which allow you to control the overall style and creative
direction for your images. Stylization. The stylization
setting determines how much of the AI's
artistic influence is applied to your image. A higher stylization value as 1,000 means the AI will
take more creative liberty, resulting in a more artistic, abstract or imaginative output. The other hand, a lower
value dash dash a 50 makes the AI stick closer to the
details of your prompt, resulting in a more literal
or realistic interpretation. Weirdness. This is a fun setting that lets you push the boundaries
of creativity by allowing the AI to introduce unexpected or surreal
elements into your image. If you want something
truly unconventional, try adding dash weird
to your prompt. For example, flash Imagine a peaceful meadows weird 50 might generate a meadow
with unusual colors, shapes or elements that
break from reality. Let's try an example.
If you want to generate an abstract,
colorful landscape, you could type flash Imagine an abstract landscape with swirling colors
and glowing trees, a 1,000 weird 75. The high stylization and
weirdness settings will give you a unique and
imaginative image with an artistic twist. Model version, and
personalization. Another important feature in the Alpha settings is choosing the model and version of the AI that you're using
to generate your images. Mid Journey regularly
updates its AI models. So you can experiment with
different versions to see which one works
best for your project. For example, you can
specify V five to use Version five of Mid
Journey's model or stick with the default
if that's what you prefer. Each version has
its own strengths. So don't be afraid
to experiment with different versions or
different styles of artwork. Additionally, Mid
journey allows for personalization through
specific model adjustments. This means that as
the AI evolves, you can find the model or
version that best fits your artistic vision
and use it to generate more tailored results. Speed, fast versus turbo mode. Finally, let's talk about
the speed settings. If you're working
on a tight deadline or want faster results, you can switch between
fast mode and turbo mode to increase the speed of
your image generation. Fast mode is the default and provides a balance between
speed and quality, giving you images quickly without compromising
too much on detail. Turbo mode, on the other hand, is designed for situations
where speed is critical and you need images generated
as quickly as possible. While turbo mode may use more of your available
image generations, it's perfect for when
you're brainstorming or working on rapid iterations
of your artwork. Toggle between these two modes, you can type slash fast or slash turbo depending
on your needs. This means you can balance speed and quality
according to your project. Now that you know how to
use the Alpha settings, let's try a quick exercise. Imagine you want to create
a surreal cityscape. You could start with a
prompt like slash Imagine a futuristic city with glowing skyscrapers and
flying cars at night. AR 16 by nine, S 1,000 weird 50. The AR 16 by nine command
sets the aspect ratio to a white cinema the S 1,000 gives the image of a
high level of stylization, making it more artistic. The weird 50 adds a
touch of surrealism, pushing the AI to introduce unexpected and
creative elements. Once you generate the image, you can tweak it
further by switching to a different AI version or adjusting the stylization
and weirdness levels. We covered how to use Mid Journey's Alpha settings
to adjust image size, control aesthetics, choose
different AI models, and fine tune the speed
of your image generation. These advanced
tools will help you take your artwork
to the next level, allowing you to customize every detail and push the
limits of what you can create. In the next lesson, we will explore examples
of AI art for inspiration, learning from other
creators and how to create complex prompts to help
you refine your own ideas.
11. Examples of AI Art: Explore how to get
inspiration from other AI art creators and
learn by analyzing their work. We will take a closer look at different examples
of AI generated art. Deconstruct the prompts
behind them and talk about how you can
apply similar techniques. By the end of this lesson, you will have a
better understanding of how to find inspiration. Break down complex prompts and use what you learn to
enhance your own creativity. One of the best ways to grow as an AI artist is by exploring
the work of others. Fortunately, Mid Journey provides several
ways to do this, giving you access to a world of creative inspiration
right at your fingertips. Whether you're scrolling through the Mid Journey website feed or exploring the Mid
Journey Alpha feed, you can see what
other creators are generating and how they
craft their prompts. Let's start by taking a tour
of the Mid journey website. Head over to
midjourney.com and login. Once you're on the main page, you'll see a feed
of recent images generated by other users. Each of these images is created
using different prompts, and many of them feature
a variety of styles, themes, and unique approaches. This is a great place to
start if you're looking for ideas or just want to see
what's possible with the tool. Take your time to scroll
through the feed. When you see an image
that catches your eye, you can hover over it to view the prompt used
to generate it. This is an excellent
way to learn how different prompts lead
to specific artist outcomes. Let's say you come
across a beautiful, surreal image of a city
floating in the clouds. You can hover over
the image to see the prompt used with something
like a floating city in the clouds in the style of surrealism with soft pastel
colors and glowing lights. By analyzing this prompt, you can start to understand how the creator achieved that
specific look and feel. Now let's explore the
Mid journey Alpha feed for even more inspiration. If you have access to
mid journey Alpha, the feed is right there
for you to explore. The Alpha feed shows you some of the most recent and
creative images generated using the latest
features and settings. What makes this feed
special is that it often showcases cutting edge techniques and
experimental styles, as Alpha users tend to push the limits of what's
possible with AI art. Just like on the main site, you can hover over any image to see the pro used to generate it. Take note of how some users
combine styles, themes, and specific settings to
create truly unique pieces. For example, you might find an image of a robot in
a medieval landscape, and the prompt
could be something like a medieval knight with robotic armor in the style
of cyberpunk with dark, moody lighting and fog. This combination of a
historical setting with futuristic elements results
in a compelling hybrid image. Seeing these kinds of
creative combinations can inspire you to try something
new in your own prompts. Now let's take a look at the chat section
in the Alpha feed, where users share tips, techniques, and creative ideas. This is a great place
to learn more about how others are using Mid
Journey's advanced features. Get advice on specific
prompt techniques and discover new ways
to refine your artwork. In this chat section, users
often share their prompts, experiments, and insights into how they achieve
certain results. For instance, you might
see a discussion about how to create detailed
realistic skin textures in portrait images or
how to generate large complex landscapes with
specific lighting effects. By engaging with this community, you can accelerate
your learning and apply those techniques
to your own work. Now let's go deeper by
deconstructing a complex prompt. One of the best ways to learn is to break down
a detailed prompt and analyze each element to understand how it
shapes the final image. Here's an example, let's
say we come across. Image of a futuristic cityscape with towering skyscrapers, neon lights and flying cars. The prompt might look
something like this. A futuristic city at night
with neon lights and flying cars in the style of cyberpunk with
dramatic lighting, dark clouds and reflections
on wet streets. Let's break it down. A
futuristic city at night. This is the subject and setting. It tells the AI what the
scene should look like when it takes place with neon
lights and flying cars. These are specific elements
that add details to the scene making it more dynamic and visually
interesting. In the style of cyberpunk, this style defines the
artistic direction. In this case, the
cyberpunk theme gives the image a gritty, futuristic feel with
lots of technology, neon lights and urban elements
with dramatic lighting, dark clouds and reflections
on wet streets. These descriptive
elements control the mood and atmosphere. But lighting and reflections
on wet streets create a cinematic effect while the dark clouds add
tension to the scene. Understanding how each part of the prompt contributes
to the final image, you can start to build more detailed and intentional
prompts of your own. You can mix and match
different elements, styles, and themes to create
something entirely unique. Now it's your turn to
apply what you've learned. Start by browsing through the mid journey
feed or Alpha feed and find an image
that inspires you. Hover over the image to view the prompt and then break
it down just like we did. Ask yourself, what makes
the image stand out? Is it the style, the setting? Mood. Once you've identified
the key elements, think about how you can apply a similar approach
to your own prompt. For example, if you see a breathtaking landscape
with dramatic lighting, try creating your own version. Flash Imagine a misty
forest at sunrise with golden light filtering
through the trees in the style of impressionism
with soft blended colors. This practice of analyzing and reworking prompts will help you grow as a creator and unlock new creative
possibilities. You just learned how to
explore AI Rt for inspiration. Break down complex prompts and apply new techniques
to your own work. The next lesson, we will dive into more advanced parameters to give you even more control over your AI generated images.
12. Midjoureny Parameters: Hi. This lesson is a deep dive into mid
journey parameters. These are the advanced
options that you can add to your prompts that give you more control over
your final image. By learning how to
use parameters, you'll be able to fine
tune your results and unlock new creative
possibilities. By the end of this lesson, you will learn how to use
parameters like aspect ratio. Quality image weights
and the no parameter. To refine your artwork and bring your creative visions to
life. Let's get started. First, let's talk
about aspect ratios. The aspect ratio or AR parameter allows you to control the dimensions
of your image. By default, Md Journey generates images in
a square format, one by one aspect ratio. But with the AR parameter, you can adjust the width and
height to suit your needs. For example, to create
a landscape image, you can use dash A 16 by nine. This is great for
wide cinematic scenes like landscapes or cityscapes. If you're generating
a portrait image, you can use AR nine by 16
for a tall vertical format. This works well for portraits or subjects that need a
vertical composition. Here's an example of how you'd use the aspect ratio in a prom. Slash Imagine a
Majestic Mountain Range at sunset AR 16 by nine. This tells the AI to
create a wide image, perfect for a landscape shot. Aspect ratios are
essential when you want to control the
composition of your image, and they're especially useful when you're creating art for specific formats like
social media posts, wallpapers, or posters. Next, let's explore the
quality parameter. Or Q. This setting allows
you to control how much processing power your mid journey dedicates
to generating your image. A higher quality value means the AI spends more
time on details, producing sharper and
more polished results, but it may take
longer to generate. A typical setting is c, which gives you a
high quality image with lots of fine details. If you want to generate an image quickly and don't
need a lot of detail, you can use a lower
setting like Q 0.5. This speeds up the
generation process, but produces a more basic image. Example, you might use Imagine a detailed
portrait of a lion, quarter to ensure that
the AI spends extra time refining every detail of the lion's fur, face,
and background. Remember, using a higher quality setting
will consume more of your available
image generations if you're on a limited plan. So it's best to use co quarter for images when you need
precision and detail. Now let's move on
to image weights, which allow you to
control how much emphasis the AI places on different
elements within your prompt. This is particularly
useful when you're combining multiple subjects
or ideas in one image. Mid journey, you can assign
weights in different parts of your prompt using double
columns, followed by a number. The higher the number,
the more influence that part of the prompt
has over the final image. For example, if
you're generating an image of a beach
with a cat surfing, you can specify that you
want the beach to be more prominent by assigning
it a higher weight. In this prompt, the beach
is given more weight. Call in column three. Meaning it will dominate the composition. While the cat will
play a smaller role, image weights are extremely
helpful when you're combining multiple concepts and want one idea to take precedence
over the others. Next, let's explore
the no parameter, which allows you to exclude specific elements
from your image. This can be useful when the AI includes something in the
image that you don't want. By using the D
dash no parameter, you can tell Mid
Journey to leave out certain features or objects. For example, let's say you're
generating a beach scene. You don't want any
clouds in the sky. You could use the dash dash
no parameter like this. Slash Imagine a bright beach
with clear blue skies, dash dash no clouds. This tells the AI to create the scene without
including any clouds. The Dash no parameter is a great tool for fine
tuning your images, helping you remove
unwanted elements, and focus on the aspects of
the image that matter most. That we've covered
the main parameters, let's put everything together
for a quick example. You could use the
following prompt. Imagine a knight standing on a hill with a dragon
flying overhead. Dash AR 16 by nine, dash dash, oth quarter, dash dash, no trees.
Let's break this down. The dash AR 16 by nine creates a wide
cinematic composition, perfect for a dramatic
landscape scene. The dash dash cir
quarter ensures that the image is generated
with high quality. So the details of the knight and the dragon are sharp and polish. The dash no trees parameter removes any trees
from the scene, keeping the focus
on the night and the dragon without
unnecessary distractions. By combining these parameters, you have full control
over the composition, quality, and content
of the image, resulting in a highly
refined piece of AI art. Let's talk about
one last parameter that can be really helpful. The chaos parameter. This parameter controls
how much randomness and creativity the AI
adds to your image. A higher chaos value results in more unpredictable
creative outputs while a lower chaos value keeps things more
orderly and structured. For example, adding chaos 50 to a prompt will introduce more variety and
unpredictability in the results, which can lead to some exciting and unexpected
artistic directions. You could try slash Imagine
a surreal dreamscape with floating islands chaos 50 to see how the AI pushes the boundaries of the
prompt. There you have it. You've just learned
how to use some of Mid Journey's most
powerful parameters, including aspect
ratios, quality, image weights, and
the no parameter. These tools give you full control over the
creative process. Allowing you to tailor your
images with precision. Next, we will explore remixing
your images to perfection, taking what you've
learned about parameters and pushing your
creativity even further. I'll see you in the next lesson.
13. Remix To Perfection: Remix time. Join me as we explore the exciting feature
of remixing your images. By learning how to remix, you can take an image you've
already generated and make targeted adjustments
to specific elements. Explore new creative
directions and refine your artwork without
starting from scratch. By the end of this lesson, you'll know how to use Mid
Journey's remixing tools, both on Discord and
the Alpha platform. Allowing you to push your
creative boundaries and generate even more polished
AI art. Let's get started. The remix feature
in Mid Journey is a powerful tool that allows
you to take an image you've generated and tweak
specific aspects of the original prompt to
create a new version. This is perfect for when you're happy with
most of the image, but want to adjust
certain details. Like, colors, style,
or even the subject. To use the remix feature, you first need to enable
remix mode in mid journey. If you're using discord, simply type slash
settings into the chat, and a list of
options will appear. You'll see the option
to turn on remix mode. Click it to enable remixing. Once this is active, you can remix any image by clicking
the variation button. Let's walk through
a quick example. Say you've generated an image
of a futuristic cityscape, but you want to change
the color scheme from neon lights to a
more pastel palette. Once you've enabled remix mode, select the variation button under the image
you want to remix. The prompt will appear again, allowing you to make changes. In this case, you might
edit the prompt to say a futuristic cityscape with pastel colors and soft lighting. Hit Enter, and the
AI will generate a new version of the image
based on your updated prompt. The great thing about remixing is that it allows you to keep the core elements
of the image while tweaking just the aspects
you want to adjust. Now let's talk about using the remix feature on the
mid journey Alpha platform. If you're working in Alpha, the process is just as simple. Once you've generated an image, you'll see the remix
button below the image. Click this button to edit
the original prompt, make adjustments, and explore new creative ideas without
having to start over. For example, say that
you've generated an abstract portrait but want to experiment with different
artistic styles. You can click Remix, change the style
description to something like in the style of cubism and generate a new version of the portrait with a completely
different visual feel. One of the best things about the remix feature is that it allows for iterative creation. You can try multiple
variations and keep tweaking small details until you get exactly the result
you're looking for. Next, let's explore
remixing part of an image, a particularly useful technique when you're happy with
most of your artwork, but you want to adjust
a specific region. In discord, this is known
as Very region style. With Very region style, you can select part of
your image and have the AI generate variations
of just that section. This is great for refining
one element without affecting the rest of the
image. Here's how you do it. Number one, after
generating an image, click on vary region
under the image two. So like the part of the
image you want to change, let's say the sky three. Edit the prompt to reflect
how you want the sky to look. For example, you
could change it from clear blue skies to stormy skies with
dramatic clouds four. Click Enter and Mid Journey will generate a new version of the image with the adjusted sky while the rest of the
image remains the same. Level of control lets you
fine tune your artwork in specific areas without losing
the overall composition. Now let's talk about remixing
part of an image in Alpha. In the Alpha version
of Mid journey, you have the ability to focus on specific areas
of your artwork, but the process is
even more streamlined. When you click remix, you can modify just the
elements you want to adjust and leave the rest
of the image unchanged. This makes Alpha
particularly useful for detailed iterative
work where you need to make small changes
to achieve perfection. Let's say you've
generated a cityscape and want to experiment with
different types of lighting, soft evening light,
dramatic sunset, or even glowing neon lights. You can remix the
image multiple times, changing only the
lighting until you find the version that
best fits your vision. Each iteration
brings you closer to your ideal result
without having to completely regenerate the
entire scene from scratch. Let's take a moment to
practice what we've learned. Start by generating an image, perhaps something like
a surreal landscape with floating islands
and waterfalls. Once the image is ready, enable remix mode and
make some adjustments. Try changing the
lighting colors or even the overall
style of the image. For example, you
could remix it with soft pastel colors and dreamy lighting or go for something more
dramatic like dark, moody lighting
with storm clouds. Notice how these small adjustments
can drastically change the feel of the image while preserving the
original composition. Once you remixed your image, don't hesitate to
experiment further. Different parts, use vary
region style to focus on specific areas and iterate until you're happy with
the final product. That's Mid journey's
remix feature to fine tune your images, make specific adjustments, and iterate on your artwork
to achieve perfection. Whether you're adjusting
small details, changing styles or
remixing part of an image, this powerful tool
helps you explore different creative directions
without starting over. In the next lesson, we will explore even
more advanced features, including expanding
images and using image prompts as input
for new creation. Look forward to seeing the incredible variations
and remixes you will create. I'll see you in the next lesson.
14. Advanced Features: Welcome back. In this lesson, we are going to explore some of Mid Journey's advanced features that allow you to
expand your images. Use image prompts and zoom in or out to create even more
detailed and dynamic artwork. By mastering these techniques, you will have greater
creative control over your AI generated images. Be able to push your
projects even further. By the end of this lesson, you will know how to
use the Zoom feature, expand images with
the expansion arrows and incorporate image
prompts as input. These tools will give you a fresh perspective
on AI art and help you create more complex
and exciting pieces. Let's dive in. First, let's explore
the Zoom out feature, which is one of the
most exciting tools for expanding your creative
possibilities in mid journey. Zoom feature allows you to
take an image you've already generated and Zoom O to reveal
a broader scene around it. Here's how it works. When
you generate an image, you'll see an option to Zoom out often represented by arrows. If you want to pull back and
reveal more of the scene, you can use the
Zoom out feature. This allows you to broaden
the scope of the image, adding more context or
background elements, which is great for creating dynamic landscapes
or complex scenes. For example, let's say you've generated an image of
a futuristic city. You can zoom out to reveal
the entire city skyline, giving your artwork a
grand panoramic feel. Next, let's talk about
the expansion arrows. These arrows let you expand your image in
specific directions, essentially adding more to the canvas and building
out your scene. This feature is particularly
useful when you want to extend the edges of an image without losing
the core composition. Imagine you've created
a beautiful portrait want to expand the background
to add more context. By using the expansion arrows, you can add more
detail to the left, right, top or bottom
of the image, giving your subject more
space to exist within. Here's an example.
If you've generated a portrait of a knight
standing in a castle, you can use the expansion arrows to extend the scene
to show more of the castle interior or add atmospheric elements like
flags, torches, or windows. Simply click on the
expansion arrows around the edges of your image, and mid journey will
generate additional content that seamlessly blends into
the existing composition. This is a great way to
involve your artwork into something even more complex and detailed without
starting from scratch. Now let's explore image prompts, which is one of the most powerful advanced
features in Mid journey. Instead of using
text based prompts, Image prompts allows you
to upload or reference an existing image and use it as the basis for
generating new artwork. This can be incredibly helpful
if you want to build upon an existing idea or use real world inspiration to
guide the AI's creation. Use an image prompt,
simply drag and drop an image into mid journey
or paste a URL to an image. After uploading the image, you can add additional
instructions in text form to
refine the output. For example, let's say you upload an image of a
sunset over a beach. You can add a text prompt with a futuristic city in the
background and neon lighting, and the AI will combine the original image with the new elements
from your prompt, resulting in a unique and
imaginative piece of art. Here's another
example. You could upload an image of a
classic painting and ask the AI to reinterpret
it in a cyberpunk style, adding a futuristic twist to
a historical piece of art. This technique
allows you to blend real world inspiration
with AI creativity, resulting in highly personalized
and original artworks. Let's quickly review
how you can combine these advanced
features to create more complex and
detailed artwork. Imagine you've generated
a fantasy landscape featuring a castle on a hill. You love the scene, but
you want to zoom out to reveal more of the
surrounding forest and sky. You can use the Zoom out feature
to expand the landscape, adding depth to the scene. Next, you decide to expand
the canvas horizontally, using the expansion eras
to extend the horizon, revealing a far off mountain
range and winding river. Now your image feels more
epic and grand in scale. Finally, you upload an
image of a cloudy sky as an image prompt and ask Mid journey to incorporate
it into the background, creating a moody atmosphere with storm clouds gathering
over the castle. This combination of techniques allows you to create
a highly detailed, immersive scene with multiple
layers and elements. Before we wrap up, let's practice using these features
with a quick exercise. Start by generating an image of a futuristic city skyline. Once the image is ready, try using the Zoom out feature to reveal more of the city, adding new buildings and
streets to the composition. Next, use the
expansion arrows to extend the scene and
bring in new elements, maybe some flying cars
or towering skyscrapers. Finally, can upload an image that you like of a
sunset to mid journey. Then you can take that
same image that you uploaded and add
it to your prompt. Now you can instruct Mid journey to blend
it with the cityscape, creating a futuristic city at sunset with glowing neon lights. As you experiment
with these features, notice how each technique
allows you to refine and expand your image building complexity and adding layers
to your artwork. Congrats. You've now learned zooming in and out
expanding images with the expansion arrows and incorporating image
prompts into your project. These tools give you greater control over
the creative process. Helping you take your artwork to the next level by adding detail. Context and personal
inspiration. In the final lesson, we will be putting
everything together for your final project
where you will create a piece of AI art that reflects your favorite styles and techniques from this
course. I'll see you there.
15. Final Project & Congratulations!: Welcome to the final lesson. You've come a long way. And in this lesson, we
will bring everything together by working on
your final project. This is your chance to apply all the skills and
techniques you've learned throughout the course
and create a piece of AI generated art that
reflects your unique style. By the end of this lesson, you will have a
completed artwork that you can share
with the class. And showcase in the project
gallery. Let's get started. For your final project, the goal is to create an AI
artwork using the props, parameters, and techniques
we've explored in this course. Be crafting a prompt that
includes a subject, style, and any additional
elements like lighting, viewpoint or a specific theme. This is your chance to express your creativity and push the limits of what
you've learned. Here's a quick recap of
what we've covered to help guide you as you create your
final piece. Basic prompts. Start with a strong subject and build your
prompt from there. Think about what you want
your image to be focused on, whether it's a landscape. Character or abstract concept. Then use descriptive adjectives
to add depth and details. Styles and themes. Feel free to experiment with different artistic
styles and themes. Whether you're going
for a realistic, impressionist fantasy
or cyberpunk vibe, make sure to specify the
style in your prompt. For example, a
futuristic city at night in the style of cyberpunk with neon
lights and flying cars. Advanced parameters. Use advanced parameters
like AR for aspect ratio, Q for quality, and no to
exclude unwanted elements. If you're combining
multiple subjects, use image weights to control how much emphasis is placed
on each part of the image. For example, a tiger in a
futuristic jungle calling Column three with a glowing moon calling Column one,
remixing and refining. Don't forget you can always use the remix feature to adjust your image or try variations if you want to explore
new directions. If the first image isn't
quite what you envisioned, tweak it and try again until you're
happy with the result. Now, let's walk through the steps of creating
your final project. Step one, choose your
subject and style. Start by deciding on the main
subject of your artwork. This could be anything,
maybe a surreal landscape, a detailed portrait, or
an abstract concept. Next, think about the
style you want to apply. Are you going for a
photorealistic look, or would you prefer
something more artistic like
impressionism or cubism? For example, you might choose a fantasy castle on
a floating island in the style of a
watercolor painting with soft pastel colors
and glowing light. Step two, craft your prompt. Once you've chosen your
subject and style, start building your prompt. Be sure to include adjectives
that describe the mood, lighting, and other
key elements. For example, a fantasy castle on a floating island
in the style of watercolor painting with
soft pastel colors, glowing light and misty clouds. Step three, add
advanced parameters. Next, use the advanced
parameters we covered earlier. Think about the aspect
ratio, quality, or even chaos levels if you want to introduce more
randomness in your image. For instance, you could
add AR 16 by nine, car to make the image
wide and detailed or use chaos 50 to introduce
some creative variation. Your final prompt
might look like this. Flash Imagine a fantasy
castle on a floating island in the style of a watercolor painting with soft
pastel colors, glowing lights and misty clouds. AR 16 by nine coqter. Step four, generate and refine. After you've entered
your prompt, generate your image and
see how it turns out. If it's not exactly
what you had in mind, you can use the remix or variation features
to make adjustments. Keep refining until you're
satisfied with the result. Remember, great art often
takes a few iterations, so don't be afraid
to experiment. Once you've created
your final piece, it's time to share it. Mid journey makes it easy to save and download
your images. After you've refined
your artwork, open the image and discord, right click and
select Save Image As to download it to
your computer or device. I encourage you to upload
your final project to the project gallery so that you can share it with
the rest of the class. This is a great opportunity to get feedback and see how others approach their final project and be inspired by the creative
work of your peers. You submit your project,
be sure to include a brief description of your prompt and the thought
process behind your image. You can explain
the subject style and any special
techniques you used, like remixing,
adjusting parameters or working with image prompts. As we wrap up this final lesson, let's take a moment to recap what we've learned
throughout the course. You've explored the basics
of crafting prompts, including how to structure them with subjects, styles,
and adjectives. You've learned how to navigate mid journeys advanced
features from adjusting aspect ratios and using quality settings to remix
and refine your images. You've experimented
with styles and themes incorporating different artistic directions into your prompts. Finally, you've
learned how to use Mid Journey's advanced
tools like image prompts, zooming and expanding
your canvas to create more dynamic
and detailed art. Congratulations. I'm so proud of you and I'm so
excited for you. You have completed this class, and now you have the tools and confidence to continue exploring and creating on your own. AI art is an exciting
and ever evolving field. And this is just the beginning
of your creative journey. I encourage you to keep experimenting with
different prompts. Styles and techniques. The more you explore, the more you'll discover
what's possible with AI art. And don't forget you
can always come back to these lessons to refresh your memory or learn
something new. Thank you so much for being
