1. Introduction: Stories is the best place for brands to make sales on Instagram. Only the most loyal and interested audience watches them. So don't miss out on this format. I'm still making good morning Stories or new products on the website Stories. This is a waste of time and money. It doesn't help to make sales or connect with people. Hi, my name is stancy, I'm quoting creative. I prefer it in a YouTuber. I worked with brand's helping them to create high-quality visual content for Instagram. And I make YouTube videos about it. I started my career in 2018, working as a social media manager for specialty coffee shops in front. Then you move down to visual content creation and product photography. And I gain experience working with flowers stores, jewelry, showrooms, health and wellness products, skincare brands, yelling, fitness studios, food and drink companies and more. And now I'm a full-time YouTuber in the brand sponsoring creator, living on an accent exclusively in my course, I'm going to share my process and Strategy for Instagram Stories creation that have helped my clients to make more sales. I'm creating this course for all of my fellow content creators, social media managers and small business owner. I want to inspire creative people, all the girls to pursue a career in social media that will help them to realize their creative potential, even if we lifestyles and be flexible. In this course, I'll share with you my top secret strategies, tools, and processes that have developed over the last five years that will help you to succeed and create an effective Instagram Stories for your brand's little drivers and ourselves. Or we need to begin is an iPhone, laptop. And if you apps 2. Your Class Project: Your project for this course will be to create a series of Instagram Stories about a product or line of product with an intention to sell it. By doing this project, you will apply all the skills and knowledge learned in this course. You will create the Instagram Stories strategy. Create a plan for Stories using the sales funnel technique. Take photos and shoot videos and design the Stories using the apps I will share with you. So by the end of this course, you will have a series of Insta Stories ready to publish and drivers sales up if you're working on your own brand, create Stories for your own product. If you're working for clients, create Stories for their products. And if you at the beginning of your career, choose any product that you love and create Stories for your portfolio. I would love to see how my course is helping you. So after you've done creating your seventh ten Insta stories, afford them as a project to Skillshare project gallery. I wanted to see them and give you my feedback. Keep watching the force and the end of each class I'll give you one step to complete. Keep putting the work, and that's the only way to get good at this now. But they're deep into the course 3. Create a Strategy: Good Stories start with a new strategic plan. So how do create it? Create content pillars, make a schedule, and correlate your Stories with other type of quantum that you are posting content pillars, unlike columns in the magazine, make a list of at least five big topics that you can continuously create Stories about for the brand. For example, this is what I came up with For skincare brand of natural products. Skincare routine, product highlight, quizzes and false. Reduce success stories of customers behind the scenes of the brand. If you're having trouble coming up with these ideas as Changi beauty for yourself and issues of your ideal customers. What kinds of posts would you like save and share. You can also get some info from companies and public industries checkout for they're doing a thing. Probably you apply that to your niche. For example, is the current trends to make more words with products. So I made them want worth with the perfect weekend on the island with measles and having these content pillars will give you a strong base because you will never run out fightings. And if you want a little bit more help, you can use the tool that saved me so many times. It's content matrix. Learn how to use it and it will allow you to create 100 ideas super-fast. Check out the PDF guide that I'm attaching in the course materials. So when that's done, we can make a schedule. The first question that pops up, how often to post Stories. Your Berkeley's don't want to hear this, but the ideal option is to post every day. Yes. A brand's profile picture should always have that circle around it indicating Stories to keep popping up on people's radar and to keep reminding people of its existence. If people don't see the brand at the top of Instagram page, it doesn't exist. Let's look at this hypothetical example. Somebody searches on Instagram skin gain for coming to work. And they have two options. One option has Stories and another one dumped. They're going to click on the profile with Stories. You're going to look through the Stories, them will likely to engage with it for a file to look through the feed, through the reuse, click on the website, and then more likely to buy from that brand. It's like a reflex to click on the Stories and look through them. Another example, somebody scrolling through real, they like of brand's video, we want to check it out. They click on the brand profile. There are Stories. Figure to check out those Stories. They're going to spend more time on this profile. That's going to indicate to the Instagram algorithm and the, This brand is worthy of showing to other people are interested in the same topic. So posting every day is not new, but is it possible for you? I bet not. So I recommend you to start slow, start from posting three times a week, get into the creative group, adjusted the schedule and with time, create more Stories in advance. You've created an app Stories to last you a few weeks, then you can start to post more frequently, a little reminder that this is a long game. We don't want to burn out and getting really good at this takes time and practice. So be patient at the beginning. Publish your plant Stories three times a week and for the rest of the week, you can repost your clients tags. You can repose some of the old coins and just always have something in your Stories. One or two Stories is better than nothing adult, you will always should have an bride circle around the profile picture. In general, the more followers you have, the more frequently you should post Stories because it's easier to get a return on investment went a lot of people are watching how many Stories, two books, as I mentioned, on a really busy day, even the one we will do. But don't Halliday's when you Plan Stories 5-15. Also, you can publish a few content pillars in this same day, for example. And the same day I will publish Stories about the face oral shampoo bar. And I will be both some clients post with their reviews or lifestyle pictures with a product. Also, when creating Stories schedule, don't forget to include any special events, offers, holidays for new product launches. And of course, when creating a story schedule, don't forget the correlated with the other content that he published in the feed and the reals, maybe even an other social media platforms on your website, blog. So if I publish a post them on face, so I will also create a series of Stories about that face oil and they will lead people to read that post. Then it can also impose an order real than I made about a line of products including that face oil, so that everything works as one system. All formats and Instagram should work like one big system to drive traffic to the website and make sales. So how to grade Instagram Stories strategy, you need to create content pillars and then brainstorm ideas, photos, content pillars. At all of that, to your schedule, posts at least three times a week, and make sure the continent Stories is correlated with other formats and Instagram and they all work together as one big system. Your task for this class is to write down the list of five content pillars, brainstorm ideas for those content pillars, and then add them to the schedule for Stories for one week. And then we can move on to the next class. 4. How to Plan Stories for 1 Day?: Now you have a Strategy and a schedule. Now it's time to plan the Stories for one Day. Here are my top three tips for Stories planning. The first story of the day is the most important one. It should be engaging. If it's boring, people will just wipe your Stories and gentlemen look at other quantity posted on that day. You can publish it dynamic video, quiz or pull, create a beautiful design for announce something intriguing or special, create a good variation of stuff this is warranted. Could the same story format over and over again like pitcher, pitcher, pitcher, pitcher, video, video, video, video, personally, person to person. Carried few Stories, format ideas that you've been mixed together to keep your audience engaged. Dynamic video with many shots, simple one short video with texts, photo, graphic, video with a call, with a link, design. The talking head video, video with a voice-over video with the talking precedent motion in repulsed when you mix the sperm us together than watching experience of your audience is so much more enjoyable, but they will want to watch more. In my last step is to use sales techniques and your Stories. For example, you can post the before and after of using your product to demonstrate how effective. Or you can provide social proof and show that so many people are using it, your customers, influencers and celebrities. Or you can offer the product for a limited time or all for it. You can find the complete list of sales techniques for Stories as obese young guy, but I'm attaching to the course materials. And then the next class, I'll share with you the most effective sales funnel technique that boosted revenue of all of the class. But before that, let me show you an example of Instagram Stories plan for one. I want to create a series of stories highlighting one product as a balancing work. And they want to drive people to the website to find. So whenever I'm trying to highlight one for that with my Stories, I like to answer two questions. What makes this product unique and what makes it worth buying? It could be many things as ingredients, benefits, packaging, branding, production methods, secret, whatever it is. In today's example, I'm going to save these ingredients and benefits that it has. I'm going to focus my Stories on that. Tend to write the planet with the right format for the story and the texts that I move whether St. worth of light on the story. First I'm going to have a video collage with tax, then a designed with the contents for today's Stories. After that dynamic video with a few shots, then the photos with the texts than a dynamic video with texts. Then photo with a link, a re-post of an older photo, and then if Video Collage with text. And now you're ready to learn about the sales funnel technique for Stories. I'll see you in an Xbox 5. The Sales Funnel Formula: Don't create Stories just to create Stories be intentional with your ideas and use my sales funnel technique for Stories that help to boost revenue for my clients. This is probably the most important part of this course. So take a pen and a piece of paper and started making notes. There are seven phases over the sales funnel technique, pinpoint detection, this solution, proof of your brand's expertise, visualizing the results, closing objections, conveying that value and the offer. Pain point detection create Stories about a problem that your businesses trying to solve. Businesses are all about solving problems in there is a problem, there is a product to solve it. So it's your task to figure out how to bring this problem out. There are many ways to do it. You can come out to Stories and talk about it as the business owner, you can say why it's important for your business to solve this problem. You can show that the samples of it, or you can pull people on different pinpoints and see which one is more important right now, Here's some examples of problems. That is skincare brand who tried to solve dry skin sensitive skin, irritated skin, dark skin, acne, harsh chemicals, pollution, this solution, this is your opportunity to introduce the product that was a problem and this is a solution. It standard showcases in the best light, highlight its features. Whites unique, who's it for? What makes it better than competitors? Answer all of these questions and your Stories during this phase of the Sales Funnel, proof of your brand's expertise. Why should people trust you? Maybe you have some certifications. Maybe they experience, maybe it's your customer reviews. Maybe it's because influencers and celebrities, they using your product. Maybe it's because you are very transparent about how everything happens behind the scenes of your business. Give people a reason or reasons to buy from you. Tell them why your business is the one to solve their problem and the one they should buy from. Visualizing the results show people what they will get after they purchase from your brand's customer reviews, especially video once videos of the product in use, palettes and degraded interval lifestyle before and after pictures, unboxing, etcetera. The idea of this phase is to excite people about your products, closing objections, objections and obstacles between your audience and their purchase. Health and public companies, right? The list of possible objections that your audience can have and ways to solve it and then create Stories about that. Some objections, it would be, it's too expensive, it's ineffective. The ingredients are quality, it will suit me. The delivery is too long, blah, blah. Let's look at this example. Somebody may think that this face one was too expensive. So how to close this objection. This oil has a lot of important ingredients, generic brands, and just a tiny portion of them so they can write it on a label. Our brand adds a lot of them to make this product work and this ingredients are not cheap. So considering this fact, the product is absolutely worth its price and this is how you close an objection conveying the value of the products sundown and there are no obstacles in between your audience and their purchase. It's time to reinforce their willingness to pain and convey the value of your products. Again, you can use any of the sales techniques in the PDF guide in the course materials that have mentioned before. The final phase is the buffer, arguably the most important one? And you need to mention all of important things like, what do you want people to buy? How much it costs, where they can buy it isn't already available for pre-sale. Are there any payment plans? Are there any discounts? All the things make it really easy for your customer to make the purchase. You can use the Sales Funnel to connect all the time, just packaging differently, use different conduct experiment with attend figure-ground. What would it has the best? Once you find that scale about success for induce more of that content depending on their audience they may lie influencer videos, more work, real customer video Matthews, four poles and quizzes. Or maybe your face coming to Stories and talking about the products. Your task after this class is to create a Stories plan for just one Day of Stories using the sales funnel technique. Don't forget to use the chips we learned in previous class and extra learning materials. And for the sake of practicing it, simplify the task and create just one story per one phase of the Sales Funnel 6. How to Take Photos for Stories?: How to create high-quality photos for Instagram Stories. And this class you will learn about smartphone settings, lighting composition, photo editing, and content ideas. I'll show you the best settings. So take photos with an iPhone, but they can be applied to any other smartphones to first turn on the grid in the camera settings to help with the composition. Said before four months to nine by 16. This way you will see exactly how the story will look like. Third, journal, life photo, especially when shooting an action. So you can choose the best moment captured for keeping the flash off. It makes photos look cheap and less use for a specific creative concept. Fight. Adjusted exposure photos to avoid having very bright and very dark spots in a picture. Six, you can zoom in on an image but not to launch. Otherwise the quality will be low. Natural sunlight is your best friend and when shooting inside you can use the light's coming from the window. It's best to position your subject in front of the light source or to the 45 degrees angle. The best natural light is in the morning and in the evening right before the sunset, during the golden hour. I would actually say golden 15 min, not the whole hour, but of course, to create trendy harsh shadows, you can totally shoot in the middle of the day. The flow of natural light is that it's not very reliable. Sometimes it's sun isn't that says gloomy for leaving the place with not much sun. Anyway, I highly recommend you to get yourself some artificial lighting. Maybe just a couple of softbox is very basic option that will help you to imitate natural light inside overwritten. Once you take a product with a label, you need to make sure that it's clear, it's invisible, it's easy to read that there is no layer. And to fix the glare, you may need to play with the position of the product or your angle from which you are taking the picture, or the position of the light source. When shooting with models, it's best to position them to 45-degree and go to the light source. So that is created beautiful flattering shadows on their faces. To create beautiful composition on your photos. Try to get some inspiration for other photos on Pinterest or Instagram. Don't try to repeat the photo in its entirety. Instead, just choose one aspect that to really like and try to repeat that. Maybe he's the angle from each of the photo is shot. Maybe is the position of the products together, or maybe it's how close this product is to the lens of your camera previously who turned on the grid from smartphone, there are four intersecting lines and you can position the product for the picture in one of them points where this lines intersect, this will move follow the rule of thirds composition. You can always move the product in the middle this way, all the attention and focus we drove to it. This is a very simplified explanation of composition. I'm giving you the basics and if you want to learn, the more you will find that you don't need more information and inspiration. We have pictures in the PDF guide that I'm attaching to the course materials. How to edit photos for Instagram Stories, it's best to minimize your photo editing, do all the work even before you try to fix all the imperfections, clean, whatever it needs to be clear, I will fix it later in Photoshop attitude will cost you many hours. This will be very effective. The ideal scenario is when you just need to adjust sharpness, contrast, and exposure a little bit. Do I do photos on an iPhone? I'm using Photoshop and Lightroom expressed Snapseed, VSCO can and photo retouched out. If I need to, I can raise oil both chicken the background. So I'll leave more apps for you to check out in the PDF guide them are the compositions, so don't forget to download it. How to come up with content. It is the most time effective way to come up with ideas for Instagram Stories, photos, you still have an ongoing mood board for your brand. Not just a mood board for a specific shoot, but the mood board that you are adding to continuously. For example, I find a cool picture on Instagram or Pinterest. I seen it. I put it on my mood board on viewer node. This is the website that I really like using because they can add notes and they write. I liked the background color here, the position of the products, the mouths of the board. There is some aspects that they really like in this picture. And then I can try to imitate on one of my future photos, whatever I have this collection of ideas, I can come back to it and then it gives me start. I never repeat the photos exactly. This is just a starting point. And from family creative process leads me to creating something original and unique. And sometimes I use freestall, choose from services like Unsplash, freak, beak, and low peak cell. There are plenty of good options. For example, for these Stories, I needed some backgrounds and they decided to find a wide textured wall. And there are plenty of opportunity does for me to play with. Your task after this class is to create a moodboard for your content shoot and to Take Photos, use the tips that I offered you at the beginning of this class. And I also made a little checklist for your contention to find it in another PDF guide in the course materials 7. How to Shoot Videos for Stories?: How to Shoot Videos for Instagram Stories. When it comes to shooting videos for Instagram Stories, all of the lighting and composition tips apply. However, when it comes to settings, it can be a bit counter-intuitive, but it's not recommended to shorten for K quality when you shouldn't for K and a float to Instagram, the video turns out Hillary and low quality. But if you shoot an HD six different per second, that way the video on Instagram move the sharp increase. You can set this recording settings as default on your smartphone. Let's talk about creating visually engaging videos. The attention span of social media users is quite short. It's getting shorter and you have about 2 s to capture viewers attention. With videos, there are a couple of ways to do it. Whether it's quickly moving images, one shot after another one for it's something Dynamics, some movement happening in the video. It's natural for us to start tracking whatever is moving on. When choosing one action, shoot it from different angles, from different sides, closer to bother with trying to create a good variety of shots to then combine it in one video that will be much more visually appealing than one long shot. Before shooting a video, come up with a shortlist. This is like a short version of this storyboard. Just write down ideas of what you want in your video because there's nothing worse than finding yourself in a situation where you just came back from mushrooms with a mortal sin down to, I didn't the video. And you realize you forgot to shoot something. Very important. So don't do that. You just make a shortlist and save yourself a bunch of time. And here's a little tip that can save even more time. Repurpose your content if you're shooting something for readings, there is a video idea that you are doing. You can deconstruct that video and use just one shot for your Stories. You can take a screenshot of that real media and use that for Stories as well, or when shooting something for real. So any other content you can try to Shoot little bit more so that you have some extra videos to use for Stories. Some of the video editing apps that I recommend are luma fusion, cab cards and VPN. Your task after this class is to create a shortlist for your videos that you need for your Stories, and then shoot those videos. And don't forget that you already have a checklist that will help you to prepare for your shoot. 8. How to Design Instagram Stories?: Starting to Design Process by gathering inspiration on Pinterest and Instagram will use the mood board within designs that you might think, how you can make own spin on them. Take advantage of design templates. They're going to save you so much time. I recommend using unfold or Canva. There are plenty of free and paid options. If that's not enough, you can always search for templates on Etsy. That way you will have something more unique and tailored to your brand's. My biggest tip for texts on Instagram Stories into not overcrowd the Stories with the text, right? Just one main idea that you're trying to convey. Something that you really want people to remember. If there is a bunch of flat, people will skip the story subtitles because the majority of Instagram users do not watch Stories with the sound on and we don't want them to miss out on your create content. So don't forget to use apps like luma fusion, VN, or Cap catch to add subtitles to your Instagram Stories. And you don't need to write every single word. Same with the video. Just their main idea will be enough. Make sure that the interactive elements you are adding to Stories are clickable like false witness and stickers. Don't place them too close to the partners and colleagues. Do not cover your reposted rails with stickers. Sub 2020, people are just going to skip this Stories. They not gonna bother trying to click on it. And sometimes it's even impossible because there is a big fat sticker covering the real. Your task after this class is to finally design your Instagram stories. You have with all you have the strategy you have there plan, you have photos, videos, design tips. You have everything you need. It's time to sit down and put the work in 9. What's Next?: So you did it, you publish the Stories. What's Next? If you publish the story with some interactive elements, like a quiz or pull, engage with people who engage with your story, go to their profile, you will get a better understanding of your ideal customer or somebody who is interested in your concepts. Give them a compliment as them a question, give them a few likes, interact with them and show them that there is a real person behind the brand's profile. Record. All of the stats. I do know Stories have expired. Go to this, this is six and take screenshot of that status and upload it to specifically dedicated folder somewhere in the Cloud. This will help you to see which Stories that performing battery see the dynamic of your profile. And alternatively, you can also just make note of the most important statistics. If you see that there are a little hearts and reactions for a specific story, make war that to scale the success. Have you noticed that people are not really engaging or interacting with your Stories? Then change it up and keep changing it until they do engage in to interact and Duke buy from you. There are no such thing as saying just having not the right people in that trial, that cycling fans and people that I know for some reason they are there and they're washing the Stories. They wouldn't be spending their time. What did business that they absolutely not interested in. So keep experimenting. Three formants, different sales techniques, collaborations, your visuals keep changing because the result that you're going for is worth it. For Module business on Instagram, marketing without a promotion is no Marketing. You can create the best high-quality, visually appealing, engaging content. But if you don't remote IT, people won't see it. There should always be some targeted ads running or some influencer campaigns to bring more eyes on your products. Your products deserve that. Dumping. Good news is that now who know how to create high-quality content for Instagram stories. So promoting it will be much easier 10. Conclusion: You did it. You watch the course intubate and it's worth celebrating some drinking this much adorning for you and your success. I hope you have been following through with the tasks after each class.
