About This Class

Are you ready or prepared to meet your goals?

Hello! I am Marcel, Life Coach by the International Federation of Coaching, Engineer, and teacher. I have created this course in order to give you a step-by-step guide of the concepts you need to know to go towards your desires at full speed. This course is not just any course. In it, I ask you characteristic questions from Life Coaching sessions, what in English would be called powerful questioning. These are questions that allow you to reflect on your life, so that the solutions we arrive at in the course are the ones that work best for you.

In Chapter 1 we talked about the importance of setting goals. Next, in Chapter 2 we will look at the current situation through questions that will make you reflect, thus unmasking limiting thoughts. We will also see concepts such as the wheel of life, we will learn more about our values and we will talk about the growth mindset. In chapter 3 we will begin to look ahead with visualization exercises so that you capture a clear image of your ideal life, which we will express in a vision board, and we will break it down into small sub-goals that will bring you closer to your concept of personal success. In Chapter 4 I'll teach you scientifically proven techniques for effective targeting, and in Chapter 5 we'll look at the most common traps and blocks in order to avoid them.

What, do you dare to take a step forward in your life?

1. Introduction: Masterclass been affected goals for people with NO times. How would you feel if you had a magic wand that allowed you to achieve everything you like? Hello, I'm Marcel. Welcome to my new class on goal setting. I worked professionally as a certified lab coat from the International Coaching Federation. I am also an engineer and a personal development teacher. This course will not be a theoretical explanation on how to set goals. In this course, I will make you think and ask you questions that will make you reflect on the things that matter the most to you. And why. What goals do you want to achieve that would improve your situation? What are those goals? I will show you strategies on how to go towards them, how to avoid procrastination, how to measure them, and how to avoid giving them up halfway. The course is divided into five chapters. In Chapter One, we will talk about progress and purpose and how to demonstrate them. In the second chapter, we will emphasize the current situation because we can only get what we want if we know where we are. In the third chapter, we'll look closely at what you want to achieve and structure them clearly to have a path forward. In the next chapter, we'll look at proven techniques for achieving goals and making them come through. Finally, in the last chapter, we will see strategies for avoiding abandoning our goals and sticking with them until they are achieved. At the end of the course, you have a close project. The project is a guide so that you can apply all the exercises that we've been doing the whole course. And make sure you have a simulated all the tools you there to go towards a better version of yourself. Join us. 2. Why set goals?: Masterclass been affected goals for people with no time. I wanted to start the course by introducing the question that gives the title of the chapter. Why set goals? Isn't a life easier without goals? From the moment a person desires or one something. The mere idea of wanting is expressing an objective, which possibly in that abstract state, could take shape, lead the person to make the wish come true. In all areas of life you can think of, you will have different desires, are things that you would like to achieve. So what would you really like to achieve? To get a job that allows you to leave? You have to meet some requirements. And to get them, you probably already had to meet a few objectives, either consciously or by letting yourself be carried away by your intuition. Another field could be held, e.g. fitness goals. You also have nutrition goals. Following a particular diet. Economical objectives. Objectives or goals in terms of psychology, gratitude, personally loved one or more spiritual ones. As many as you can think. Therein lies the problem. There are times when we do not reflect enough on what we want to achieve and those desires remain there, floating in the form of a dream, which seems it will never be achieved as it happened to you. I invite you to put everything on the table. In this course. Here, only you're watching the videos. So grab a few sheets of paper and a pen and go for it. During the following videos, I will ask you questions. Those questions can be answered in 5 s, reflected for a longer time, a day, for a week. Take your time to answer them. And if you have someone next to you, stop the video and talk about it with the other person. You will realize that the debate, when trying to answer the questions, it makes you open more and the answers are more authentic and intense. 3. Feeling of Purpose: My son, unaffected goals for people with no time. There is a famous quote that I like the to the following. The space between where I am and what I could be in becomes unhappiness. Ever beat. The space between where I am and what I could be becomes unhappiness. Happiness is an abstract concept. And we could argue long and hard about what is it based on. But there's no doubt that when we achieve something, we're happy so much that when we e.g. market tick on a complete task, we receive a small dose of one of the hormones of happiness. Noblemen. Surely it has happened to you millions of times that you have a tip something and celebrated with your friends and family and you're happy. This course will closely examine where you are, at what point in your life you find yourself, your current goals and your perspective on that. We will also analyze your desires and the life you would like to have if everything were perfect. We will build a path towards either through objectives, because motivation comes directly from what matters most to you, your values. I will give you the example of Maria. Maria had a quiet life. First, she went to work bench or loves watching television, waiting for her husband until he came home and watch TV together. Well, that life had good things. She lacked a little sense to do something with more intensity. Reflecting on the questions such as those, Medea discovered that one of the things she wanted was to learn painting. She wasn't there. She tried before to draw in the paper, and she didn't like the results, so she was very lazy and discouraged to start over. I'm not good at that. She was saying she also had the feeling of wanting to do it, but knowing not being able to. After deciding finally to try it, Maria sign up for classes and made a list of goals as explained. Then finally, she realized that she had been missing so much time of populists are became something that gave her moments of joy. She had fun, relaxed, and even served as my patient on reflection. Sometimes. The feeling of being unable to do it. Money is and does she even featured her own art gallery? One of our most cherished goals exercise. If there's something in your life that you've always wanted to do, but having a TIF or wanted to try for some reason. Now is the time. Put it here. It doesn't mean you have to go ahead. So putting it up doesn't commit you to anything. 4. The best Version of Yourself: Master class on effective goals for people with NO times. Having goals is essential to achieve the best version of yourself. That is, when you start to analyze what the best version of yourself would be like. How would you would go forward and who would you like to become? You will see that there are many things you need to achieve. And from there, you will have objectives. As we discussed in the previous video, voting and going towards your goals leads you to a life of fulfillment and alive, having tried things, one of the best investors in the world. Warren Buffett says it very clearly in one of the meetings with the owners of his company, when asked what the most significant mistakes he made, where he replied that the most significant mistakes are mistakes of omission which are less visible. This errors or mistakes are for not having done or not having tried to go where he wanted. When in reality, he could. You hear a lot of people also in the last moments of life was talking about the idea that the things that are red are the ones that they didn't come to try. When trying them. I'm sure you will make many arrows. And maybe you don't exactly get one. Maybe. But just take logs from my side. Congratulations on trying. In some cultures mistakes and celebrate it. While in others, they are penalized. Arrows are nothing more than points that underlying there is an area where you can improve. And they are only intermediate events in the road. When you go towards what you want, the day-to-day tasks are filled up with motivation and desire to do things. You have a clear purpose. You wake up wanting to start your day, as there are many things you want to experience and see. I invite you to do when you're doing the course, you shared your feelings both negative and positive with other students. That being said, nothing is black or white. You can choose a life path, you 100 per cent, or you can choose not to try. Or you can choose in-between onto to a level in which you feel comfortable and have a sense of purpose sufficiently large for you. The decision is yours. This choice will not make it better or worse. This course will teach you how to go towards the goals, stress-free and simplify the task to be easy and more methodological. Hearing this, Joseph had no idea what he's best version was like. He was a musician. He played violin while going through the course, created this representation. We call it a vision board, which we'll see later in the course anyway, where he basically put pictures of his objectives to allow him to visualize the best version of himself in many aspects of his life. Exercise. What would the best version of yourself look like? 5. All in!: Must have been affected goals for people with no time. When you realize that you start to do projects and face all kinds of situations by yourself. You quickly realize how competent you can be. If you give a little bit of thought your concerns. Many times, this feeling comes as a surprise. Either because of our past, because of our ideas. We have heard unincorporated. We end up thinking that we cannot do certain things. They are called limiting beliefs. And we will touch on that later in the course. However, the kind of thing that you can not do a particular action or face specific situation limits you and makes you feel capable. In those moments. What do you say to yourself? So many times we tend to minimize ourselves and stick magnetically. It is essential to keep this in mind as our self-esteem will be significantly affected. By being able to do any project. You set your mind to your inner dialogue suites. Even a new project you might switch your thinking towards. This looks complicated, followed by a breakdown in how it could be a conclusion of the time. With enough time, I could do. This. Internal dialogue is very different from one of a person who says, I am not, an eye will never be able to do this. I didn't even know where to start. This is the difference. E.g. Mark, he was terrified of speaking in public. Just thinking about having to talk in front of ten people was terrifying. Even got to be physical. He was sweating, and depending on the context, he would even feel sick. However, Mark knew that to progress in his athletic shoe business, he had to learn to talk to people and be confident speaking public. So he had a great motivation to go forward. When he thought about it. He said to himself, them, indeed, I did terribly in the past, all the times. I have become very neighbors and things went very wrong. Now it's better not to do it this time. If you felt something similar. Stay because we will talk about thoughts and limitations here. Mark was basing himself on his past to decide the things we're going to go wrong. Think of school as something that he could break down into small steps and small victorious exercise. Try to identify an area of your life where you don't think you'll be able to achieve something, then ask yourself, is the physically impossible? Is there anyone who hasn't graded it, it be more curious and break it down into smaller goals. How you would go for it. In this exercise? We just think about them. But I encourage you to spend a few minutes challenging yourself. 6. Summary: My son, unaffected goals for people with no time. In this chapter, we have examined the sense of purpose, satisfaction that entails going towards goals that genuinely come from you. We have reflected about weeds and how is the best version of yourself. We have emphasized the psychology of trying to go towards your goals. I hope you liked the chapter and I'll see you in the next one. 7. The Importance Of Knowing Where We Are: Master, unaffected goals for people with no time. The daily life of a person can be very complex. Many tasks, a lot of stress, a lot of thoughts to process. Many times. It makes us getting lost in the details. We do not see a global vision. That is why in this section, I would like to stop and reflect for a second. In this course. I would like to give you the necessary tools to set your goals, not anyone else. Yours. Regard the objectives that you propose will make much more sense if they are aligned with a global vision of your personal, where you're coming from, and where you're going. You didn't define where we are, is the first step to knowing how to improve something. But if we don't know where we are, then we will know what areas are working well and which ones need improvement. What's worse? We don't know where we are. This very, very difficult to estimate it. What we want to do for a teeth is realistic. Therefore, it is essential to take a good look at the current situation. It is said that there are four phases of learning. As soon as the person enters a specific w. These are unconscious incompetence conscious, incompetence, conscious competence, and unconscious competence. And they go in this order. First. Unconscious incompetence is basically when you don't know what it is about, that you're going to learn. You still don't even know what you don't know. During the beginning, e.g. when I started classes, I remember that at first, I didn't know what kind of technique is or where or what could be done. Once you advance of it. You find out what there is. You get into conscious incompetence. You know what's ahead, but you're not yet there. E.g. when I learned all the bands of techniques that there are, that I still didn't know. That moment can scare a little, but nothing must intimidate us from going on. On the contrary, it must excite us for everything that we're going to learn. Once you've broken it, you realize that you end up learning all that. You move on to conscious competence. If you want, you can very competent. There's one more unconscious competence. That's already the highest level. When you do things very well automatically. That is one you have done something so many times that the small details of Iraq had become automatic and what you no longer have seen. Let's set an example to see it clearly. Imagine that Maria wants to improve her nutrition knowledge. How will you improve it? Well, the first, she'll have to identify what she does not know. There are probably areas where she is more interested on wants. She still doesn't know what she doesn't know. And that's why she needs to do a little research and introspection to perform. Once she's clear about her knowledge and where she wants to go, she can have a much clear idea on how to go forward. And she can estimate with much more certainty how much time and therefore will take to get there. 8. HOT Goals: Must have been affected goals for people with no time. Have you ever thought about the difference between a goal and dream? Dreams seem like something much more unattainable, which is there and we will never get. There's even a popular phrase that says that dreams are goals without the completion date. When we limit what we want to a given timeframe. And we give it certain properties so that it becomes something that we can achieve. We move it away from being something unattainable. Many times, we tried to set ourselves goals. And these goals feel somewhat forced. And we ourselves do not believe that we can achieve them. They are things that don't really align well with us. That we might like some word, but they definitely don't resonate with us. Later, we realized that we are not advancing and therefore we abandon them. From there. I wanted to introduce to you the concept of what is known as hot goals. Hot goals are goals that really motivate us. When you set a hot goal, you don't wonder if you have to go forward one knee or not. You just go for it. Because it's something that really touched very much directly. This concept touches something much deeper. When we really want something internally so much that we're willing to do whatever. It is, our unconscious mind that pushes naturally towards it. We don't even think for a second at the action must be done. Once you arrive there. There is no discussion. On the other hand, when I go into superficial, then there's not that kind of action. That is one motivation and willpower. I need to keep going to sum it up. Hot goals are those goals that touched you in some deep way. It's those things that bring you closer to your ideal life to understand what a hot goal is more deeply, I give you the example of near their mom from Joanna. It turns out that Joanna is intolerant to some food and she can eat everything that he served in the school. In fact, she can eat very little. Mini thing is filtered with the hair. Has 10,000 tasks on her mind. She's an executive in a company. She does dance, but realizing that this was so she did not even consider that she had to make the proper food for Joanna. She had the time she had her daughter was her daughter. And one first, what I want to illustrate to you in this example is what pushes nella to achieve. Her goal is not of the same nature as someone who wants to look better going to the gym. But that goal is not really in their core values. Exercise. During this chapter, we will learn what makes up an internal motivation so powerful. In this exercise, I asked you what things are unquestionable per year. This thing is that you have to do no matter what. 9. The Wheel Of Life: Master class on effective goals for people with no time. In this video, I present you an exercise called Wheel of Life. The exercise is based on putting a score 0-10 with zero being the worst and then being the best. In different areas such as health, work, spirituality, family, money, fun, friends. Below, I will leave a link to an interactive website that you can use. But simply using each one as NADH is enough in any sheet of paper. Stump the video for a moment and fill it in. It will only take 1 min. I'll wait for you. How did it go? What areas of your life they do is identify a strong you feel like it. You can share them with other students in the course, in the comments, what areas of your life where weaker for you? At first, we've made some negative, but hey, you'll discover opportunities for improvement. Congratulations. Next, we're going to see how the Philippine through the example Joseph, at one point, he began to feel tired and not excited about too many things. This made him not very happy. He noticed that his nutrition was not that healthy and that he had never exercised much. Joseph built in the chart as follows. On reflection, he decided that perhaps he would give his health. And six, since he thought that he had a lot of junk food, he thought that once he gets to eat healthy, you will have maybe an age. And he could also add some physical exercise and good humor then that would put this code to attend. Also, he was not entirely satisfied with his economic situation, putting another six, since he believes that he should earn more, one of his wishes wants to be able to buy a flat, although it was not possible yet. Besides, he wasn't completely happy with how things were going at work. In that field. You would have put a six to. As for love. He gave it a name since he lost his partner and they are good together, reflecting on his friends and family, a curious thing happened. Who realized that heel of his friends and family very much so he gave them a nine as well. That made him have a little reflection on whether he was giving them the importance that he believed they deserve. After filling the fields, just a quickly realized that he has many strong areas in his life and that gave him a good filling. However, there are others that you could improve. Once in from awoke. Just have begun to ponder what actions he could take to make this weaker areas go up at least a couple of points. Exercise. Fill the columns with the score. You think it's necessarily what aspects have come out with the highest score. 10. Knowing Our Values: Master on effective goals for people with no time. Have you ever heard of values? Values are no more than those aspects of life that matter to us. It's personal values, different areas of life. E.g. humor, maybe something essentially for someone where there may be another person who values the closeness with family. And you will tell me, but I already know what is important to me. I'm sure, yes. However, sometimes we face complex situations, both emotionally and physically. And the decisions we make may not be an entirely consistent with what we really value living as to a position that is perhaps not so optimal. Being clear about what matters to you puts you in a situation of lessons, certainly thermal decisions about how you want your life to be, which collaterally also affects those around you. Then what are your values? How are your current goals and actions leading you to leave them? What do you really care about? Download the PDF that accompanies the video. I propose an expensively use exercise in life coaching practices to know your values well, I'm strengthen the coherence between your values and your actions. The following list contains attributes that can be selected as values. Next, I explain the exercise through example of debate. When we examine the list of values. First thought that they were unimportant. However, some call him more. He started with honesty. Here's a person who values a lot honesty. He likes very little false hood or lives, and that is reflected in his company, his friends, he explains, if at anytime I noticed that someone is not being honest, I need a clarification. If I noticed that it continues like this. I just let go. I don't want that type of branching. So we mark honesty then. Then tolerance can ask yourself, is still around. It's more important to me. I am told him, but I would say it's the most important thing with you, the market. So successively, with all the values in the list, in the end, we came together with 15 values of which he had the thing a bit more to eliminate six and stay at nine. The selected values where the following, honesty, gratitude, empathy, love, confidence, peace, family, overcoming fidelity. Choosing nine was already difficult to him. Since many gods his attention, but it was even harder when I asked him to pick three out of the nine. The theory that most resonated with him. There, he needed a good time of flexion, who has clear that family was one of them. The beginning, he knew it. Therefore, Ali to remain the questions and move from one value to the other until converging on the two that we're missing, which were loved and gratitude. The end, the freeware, family law and gratitude. This is how his three most important values remain. From their debate began to see how those values influence the different decisions he made in life. He took a decision that negatively affected his family. Was he going to allow it? Currently not that will undo it. Having a list also happening now, make new decisions. How they affected the escalates the most value. I wanted to point out that this type of exercise, or simply a model that is, there is no absolute truth that says that only three values are the ones that are there. You could put four or five. You might experience. This model serves to identify the most important ones. Quite effective way. If there are any other values that you can think of, the Middle East, especially the very important to you. No doubt. Just remember, exercise the load, the PDF that accompanies the video. No mark your values that resonate with you. Select the nine most important values for you. Now, select the three values are resonate with you the most. 11. The Growth Mindset: Master class on effective goals for people with no time. This concept refers to the way you're thinking. Although there are people who may think in a very positive or optimistic way, there are also people who can think in a very negative way. It is essential to be aware of what you tell yourself. At the moment. E.g. you're trying to lose weight and your Delta yourself in the past. I haven't really tried and I couldn't I didn't know what's going to be different. I doubt I would be able to do it. What is the probability that you will achieve you go like this? Not very highlight. What is called Mindset are a series of psychological strategies that make you think in a certain positive way to move forward. The growth mindset is distinguished by its curious and honest nature. It will have made a mistake. We have several possible answers. One of the possible answers would be the norepi and to move on or even blame someone else. These answers would not be encompassed in a growth mindset. However, in contrast, a growth mindset, the one where the person would take a harness, look at the mistake, analyze what happened, and would learn from it. Thus allowing him to grow in a very fast way, leaving the ego's side. As you can see, there is a very important component of the growth mindset, which is the capacity for self-reflection and introspection. In the following exercises, I am going to introduce you to a tool which is perfect for this process. Exercise. Write down a negative thought that you have had to turn it over. Which would be the way of thinking that would make you fit into a growth mindset. 12. Limiting Believes: Must have been affected. Goals for people with no time. Limiting beliefs are those beliefs that tell us what we are not capable of doing, even though it may not be true. Talking about this, I like to mention the fable of circus elephants. It is said that the elephant was trained when he was very little. They tied him to a stake. And the elephant, he tried and tried to break free until he realized he couldn't. All of these efforts were useless. And no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get free from there if firm in his head, they believed that he could not get free. Growing up, he became a huge piece. It's not very difficult to realize that another elephant could tear up the entire circuit if he wanted to. Let alone a simplistic. However, that believed that form when he was a baby is now with him and feels that he's not able to break free himself from the state. This is just a table, but it illustrates very well what happens to us very often. In fact, if you try to do something but always fall into the same thing, you may suspect that there is a limiting belief that is not letting you go forward. As in the previous example, the key is to challenge your own ideas. There are several ways to do that. You can have a friend or family member showing you their opinion or even a life coach who can help you challenge those ideas. From another side, you can use your new tool, your journal. By jotting down your thoughts and looking back, you can see I'm even define what have been your limiting thoughts, those that have not allowed you to move forward. A very common limiting thought is that of not being able to earn more than certain amount of money, e.g. however, we see every day on television that there are human beings like us who get dressed, who put their pants on in the morning that have a lot more money, right? So why do we lead ourselves? The answer is not simple, but what I want to illustrate is that sometimes what our mindset does not correspond to a real possibility is that we have access to exercise. Think of something that you really think you can't do. A clue can be if you try to do it and you fell into the same thing over and over, can you identify it? Read it down. Keeping the mind is the first step to solving it. Now, think of someone who has solved it realistically. Can it be solved? 13. Personal Reflexion Journal: Master class on effective goals for people with no time. As the title of this section indicates, in this video, we will talk about diary of self-reflection. This is an extremely important tool for everything. But if you don't have that diary or journal, I strongly suggest that you go to the store and buy one, a blank notebook, assign as a mindset diary. It just that you don't need anything more sophisticated. You push me a few sheets of paper folded in half with a couple of staples. A place to write on a daily basis. It doesn't have to because in many ways this journal, so essentially daily basis, we often experience the push and pull between our common sense, our goals, and our emotions. E.g. if I'm hungry, but I eat the doughnut, I will get fired. And this is not in my goal of fitness, but it looks good and I'm going to eat it. But follow from another feeling of guilt. I learned, and I shouldn't have. All. Those rises and falls of feelings are very natural and always in greater or lesser extent, and to an extent they will be there. However, writing that down in a self-reflection journal will help you realize how it happens. And you can find and change certain things so that you fillings get better aligned with your common sense. E.g. modifying your environment. So you don't have donuts at home. In your diary. You can write down every one of the feelings that pulls you back. I'm blocks you from getting your goals. What makes you feel good? Makes you feel bad. Many times at the end of the day or week, you will look back and see that the thoughts you wrote don't really make much sense when viewed from a colder, broader vision. And that's when magic happens. We can choose what thoughts we want to use. I would like to find out the journaling is not something that you necessarily have to write every day. If that works for you. Great. E.g. I. Always have it at hand. Many times. I'm busy with other things and I go and five days without it. Other times I see it more often. Exercise. Get your journals. Write down how you felt today since you woke up. 14. Summary: My son, unaffected goals for people with no time. In this chapter, we have talked about the importance of knowing where our places where we currently are. We talked about the four phases of learning and we motivate it hot goals as that what makes you really buy buried inside and you absolutely need to get. Then we went on to do two very valuable exercises that allow us to know ourselves. First in general, areas of life with the Wheel of Life. And then talking about values, summarizing the things that matter most to us in nine values first, which then moved even got to select three. We learned about the growth mindset that we must adopt to go for while it's full speed. And we look very closely at our limiting beliefs, emphasizing starting our journal of self-reflection to capture these other feelings that can be blocked off goals. I hope you liked it. See you in the next chapter. 15. Your Ideal Life: Masterclass on effective goals for people with no time. Now that you have the different areas of your life in paper. In this chapter, we started looking forward. What do you want to achieve? Take 5 min to reflect on your goals. Things that you want to achieve. How do they align with the results that came out on your wheel of life? How do they relate to your values? How could you equip your goals with a little more of what really motivates you. And it's important to you. How could you add more of your values, their grade? Congratulations on getting this far. If you did it right, you will have made a very valuable internal reflection process. I recommend that you watch it again and again and try to find out more and more about yourself. Now, the million dollar question, what does your ideal life look like? This question seems simple. Short, without much complication. Well, it really isn't that much. In fact, it is incredibly complex and it's a process of highly Delaware flexion and visualization. Data reflect in detail how you would spend your ideal day, your ideal week, and your ideal moms can visualize it in as much detail as you can if you need to draw it, draw it. Now, we're going to get a little bit more creative. You imagine that you have no ties. May either financial, emotional, or if any, can. Imagine that you have everything you need, infinite money, infinite friends, et cetera. What would you be doing in that case? Now, imagine it even more vividly with all the detail you can. How would you dress? Who would you be with? How would you smell? What would your day be like? Another busy right? In my experience, when you're thinking you're done, there's still more to do. That's why my next question is, is there anything that you left out? Reflect for a minute. What would you write the alive look like? Nothing you're clear about what your ideal life. Let's see how you could get a little closer to it. Let's go for it. Let me illustrate this point with an example. Maria always said that she would like to buy a flat. Living in her own flat would give her a lot of security and she would feel happy. However, she was always finishing sentences with bad, but there is not enough to pay for it. Maria worked as a kindergarten teacher. She was very good. She loved her children very much. She worked very hard, often pulling extra hours and dealing with issues that were bending at home. This is how she answered the questions. What would you like to get? I would like to have my own apartment. It would be a flat, not very big. It just enough for me and my boyfriend. But we will live in peace without thinking about paying rent, which sometimes feels overwhelming. What would you do if you had your own apartment? Well, the truth is, I would leave much more relaxed with less pressure. And even if I could save a little, who knows, maybe I would travel a little bit with this extra money. If I don't have financial constraints, I would like to travel to Japan. I have always been fascinated by Japanese culture and the anemia. What would you be doing? I think I would be doing the same. The truth is that I would be excited to even go one step ahead. I think I could adjust the methodology is being used to take even better care of the children with a little more calm life. Everything looks different and I would probably fairly suit me better. How would you spend your mornings and afternoons? I would work a lot with gladly. I like what I do and I did with pleasure. When I returned home, I will come to know that they will return to my house. And with the certainty that if there is ever a financial problem, at least we won't have to look for a place to sleep. There were more questions. How did it feel to be in her house? What it smells like, how late it was. Maria had already vaguely imagine some of those aspects, but never in such detail. At that moment. She had to ship everything, imagine everything in detail, color, even smell in every way possible. That made her see her flat more clearly and motivated her to get from there. Over the next few weeks, she began to see what means she had to be able to get the flat. She searched for housing, which you have not done before. She fixed the budget and began calculating what would specifically be missing ****. Actually. Exercise. What are your dreams? What would you do if your resources were limited? How would you how would you spend your time? 16. The Vision Board: Master unaffected goals for people with no time. Have you ever heard of a vision board? A vision board is nothing more than a graphical representation of your votes. On the horizontal axis, you will put from left to right different termination dates. One month, three months, one year, three years, five years, ten years. That's it. Now, let's fill each of these sections with images of what you want to get farther to the left or objectives that we plan to achieve in one month, a little further to the right, three months, those that we think that will be achieved in three months and so on and so forth with 135.10 years, you will realize that it is very easy to fill in the objectives at one month, but very difficult to fill in the ones ten years. You will then tell yourself perhaps, if I don't even know what I'm gonna be tomorrow, how am I supposed to know what we're going to achieve him ten years? Anyway. Fill it in, as you can imagine, an overtime, you will realize that there are things that will change once and we need to tweak again some other things that will stay fixed, like long-term goals. That will mean that those goals have also passed the time barrier. They were important and after a long time, they still are, therefore, they are worth it. You can do this in many ways. You can take a piece of cardboard and printed with visuals and do it by hand to hang it somewhere where you can see it. Make it pretty. You can also do it digitally in a PowerPoint or a PDF. Anyway, sentence, a photo. And thus, you will inspire more students to achieve their goals. Exercise, make your own vision board posted and shared with other students. 17. Breaking Down Your Goals: Must have been affected goals for people with no time. Pull out a sheet of paper or a whiteboard. What do you prefer? But I want you to have plenty of space to write. Tiny, messy. However you like. It doesn't really matter. Things will take shape after. From there. Take a goal. From that goal, start thinking about what you need to do to a TV. It doesn't matter if things are not clear. But what you're seeing right now. And we will redefine it over time. Take out secondary ideas from the main idea in the form of harm, mind-map, or a tree or whatever brainstorming method. Do you think it goes better for you? You need more space. Do not hesitate to take more sheets. We need space so that ideas are well embodied. Once you have done the first layer of ideas, do a second one, then the subtasks most likely can be split in more, keeps splitting, divide and conquer. Does this ring a bell? Cut it into small, very small pieces. How small? The smaller we make the goals, the more specific they can be. You will see that in some bits you need research as you wouldn't know where to go. That's okay. We're asserting itself is a test on which we can take action. Jamie is a student who follows the course and decides to turn his dreams into goals. To illustrate the example, we'll look at one in particular, although he broke down all his dreams into goals. Those included, and where as broad, learn to dance, salsa, play, the tamper. Proof his skills in programming, get feed it healthier and much more. Heaping on pulling the best out of each one of them. As explains, the breast was a bit of a mess in the sense that there were a lot of ideas floating connected and not so connected. It helped him to translate them into paper. And that way to be able to interconnect with each other. Later. He said that between everything he felt about ten sheets of paper with possibly be us. In this process, you could spend 5 min, I'm finished. But also you could go deeper and is breaking down those goals as much as possible and transforming them into well-defined goals that can be achieved. In particular, he told me about getting in shape. He realized that getting in shape incorporated several strings, started to write the ideas. From getting in shape, several branches came out. It better to more exercise, laugh, more, investigated, more things that can help. He thought to himself. Still very abstract. Behind going to eat better. I have really no idea what I'm going to or how I'm going to do it. So he wanted to begin to define a little what it wants to eat better. He realized that there were things he knew, probably the chocolate croissants and the bonds. It was very clear that he had to stop eating them and add more vegetables. Maybe to his diet. Seemed to be something that he had always heard about. However, he also realized that he had difficulties with defining what eating better man. Therefore, he thought that he had to investigate. So he paused the process and begin to research for a couple of hours about what would be like to eat better. He saw that there were many possibilities on the Internet and everything was a little bit confusing and he decided to follow one person, someone who had achieved the goal he wanted. That person had very clear guidelines, balanced in terms of macronutrients. Eat a variety. Not sure where flexible and social diets, but controlled. Now, he saw that he would have to see how to make the shopping list, e.g. according to the goals, maybe prepare a list of things to buy uncooked, see how long it would take every week to do it? Well, there he broke down the macronutrient balance into few dishes. From there, he broke down the ingredients to go and buy. After this process had tasks as concrete as going to buy a list of things to shop. He knew how to do that. There was nothing abstract that gave him a lot of motivation to be able to achieve his goals. Since now, they didn't look as big and scary as before. Going to buy this list. He thought to himself, one thing I can do, it also brings me closer to my goal. Exercise. Select a goal and break it down into small tasks and subtasks. Then break it more. Make a mind map out of them. Send us a photo and share with other students. 18. Summary: My son, unaffected goals for people with no time. In this chapter, we have begun to look ahead in order to have goals that are really significant to us. We have looked towards what our ideal life is, what is what we really want. We have created our vision board with a long-term vision. When we want to have those goals, a team. Next, we have begun to divide these abstract realizations of things we want her dreams to a more concrete and tangible things. We have subdivided into subgoals and made smaller and smaller into the form of a mind-map where we can directly take action. I hope you liked it. In this chapter. You have a lot of homework to do. Wait a minute, take a breath. Because we're going to see how to define those objectives so that they will be fulfilled. We go from abstract to very specific. 19. Introduction to goal setting: My son, unaffected goals for people with no time. Well, now we have done a few personal reflection exercises. We know what we want and how to break it down. So we've already done some important work towards how to set goals that standout and our, of our interests. In this chapter, I will show you techniques widely used in all kinds of scenarios, both personally and professionally. Now that proven by science. 20. SMART Goals: My son, unaffected goals for people with no time. This technique is called smart goals. You will see that we have gone through most of the points already, but I still will go one-by-one defining them. Let's start. The S stands for Specific. Our goal has to be specific. Something that we can explain the five-year-old, e.g. doing push-ups with hands at chest height. It's morning is a specific goal. M stands for measurable. In order to match the goal has completed, we need a number to which we can attribute the end of the goal, e.g. do ten push-ups. The a is for attainable, realistic that it can be achieved. If the objectives are really beyond our reach, beyond our capabilities. Setting the target could discourages. If you've never done any bookshop. 100 pushups is probably not a realistic goal. Knowing knew what would be realistic. Only you know what you can get and you count. The R is for relevant, important. The goal has to really resonate with you. But if you have a strong desire to achieve it, if it's a hot goal, it is very likely that you will. What is the relationship between the goal and your values? The T stands for timely, bounded in time. Here's the famous expression sometimes attributed to Einstein, who says the difference between our desire and a goal is a termination date set in advance. It is that, in fact, without it, you object to last forever. And that's when we feel is unattainable. E.g. we could say that we wanted to have done something to push us by Monday at 08:00 A.M. as an example, I will explain the case of George wanted to get in shape, go read as getting j. When I asked him how he would know that he has a typical he answered, well, I will be in shape. What does that mean? He had to think a little more. By the way, he saw that the target was not very well-defined. And if so, he would never fulfill it because he did not know word to finish. Already at the beginning of the goal. It was set in such a way that it could not really be achieved. Exercise, select one of your goals and make it a smart goal. 21. SMARTER Goals: Must have been affected goals for people with no time. Smarter goals or smarter objectives is nothing more than two points added to the previous technique. First, the E comes from mobile way. The objectives are not there to be forgotten. It has to keep track of how things are going under retrospectives. Seeing if the path that you're taking are effective, or would it be better to turn direction? And how could you have the follow-up? E.g. adding a reminder in your calendar to review how your goal is going on a regular basis. Personally, e.g. on the 25th of each month, lunar calendar tells me that is my measurement date for my fitness goals. On that day. I take measurements including stretching, blood pressure, all those that encompass my goals. On the other hand, we have comes from this technique proposes to get a prize for finishing the goal. You're leaving a presenter yourself. In this way, you will have extra motivation that will push the finishing. George had his evaluation at the end of the month. In fact, he also set on the left on the calendar separating a space of 1 h to measure himself. See how his progress is going, what is necessary, since he did not want to go against his objectives. Although he thought that getting something delicious could be an award, it occurred to him that this time he will do something that was more aligned with his goal. He had always been very excited to try and why. He thought the price per ton, the goal could be a trip to Italy to drive a Ferrari. Just thinking about did his eyes sparkled? Exercise. Pick one of the objectives that you put in the previous section and now make it smarter. 22. Over-information: Master class on effective goals for people with no time. Today, we have millions of sources of information approaching us from all sides, e.g. to go on a diet. When we're thinking about what we're going to do with a keto diet. Hello, diet appears that seems to be better or not and makes us up totally. So we change until we realize that there is this concept of intermittent fasting, which will perhaps work better for us. And so we try and so on, until we end up doing nothing, right? Does it pink or red in order to not fall into this trap? Do it this way. Your initial research. Take your time and select the person you want to follow, a listen to. Make sure they are experts in the subject and that they have a curriculum. I'm previous projects that support look for a good teacher. Have you heard the expression? A person with two watches will never know the actual time. From there. That's tabbing what you teach or recommend. Don't waste any more time on what those say. Focus on new teacher and try to integrate as well as possible. Histone have started. From there, you will obtain much more profit than if you tried to investigate it on your own. The person you select is an expert, then narratives will make you take Diane steps forward. That's not to say that you can have some research with the percentage of time that you spend learning from your teaching has to be much higher than the percentage of doing research. If you see that this is not the case, perhaps it's better to stop, focused on investigating first and then choose you like VL road. Exercise. Just your teacher, your research, and decide who we are going to follow in a given moment and discuss why this is so. 23. Summary: My son, unaffected goals for people with no time. In this chapter, we have seen different techniques to achieve your goals. We have seen the smart goals and its extension smarter. Also, we have looked at the very common trap of information overload. I hope that in this moment, you begin to feel that all your goals are going to take an even more defined shape and you get some sense of yes, I can get it. Thank you for getting here and see you in the next one. 24. Introduction to tools: My son. Unaffected goals for people with no time. Okay. Very good. Assembling the goals. It has been hard, but at the same time, entertaining. It gives a lot of excitement to what is to come. But as days go by and we faced the difficulty that this represents, it is very easy to get discouraged and abandon them. In this chapter, I will present a follow-up of strategies on how to make sure we don't abandon them and get to complete them. 25. The Journal: Master class on effective goals for people with no time. As we have already said several times throughout the course, keeping a journal is a very important resource to achieve your goals. The goals are set from a rational point of view. We want to get something and common sense tells us, but we'll have to do so much that we can pose an engineer a well-defined plan about how to go. However, emotions are quite hard to predict. We also have to blend that we will be hungry, that there will be times that we will not filled well, that we will have a headache. Feelings are also parts of us and we must take them into account. Many times, we will get out of our comfort zone. And we need to measure that. If you write down in our journal, we can have an objective vision of our filling. In one day we get too far out of our comfort zone. We could write it, e.g. today it was too hard. We can lower the intensity of the goal that day, but we are monitoring our feelings there so that everything doesn't get out of the pan. When we are doing a retrospective or evaluation, we will see if there is a pattern. We are aiming to go too fast. And perhaps the objective is not to realistic because it makes us feel too bad. To the point of wanting to a one-minute. Nothing will be easy. Everything was, but it does not have to be overwhelming. You have to find a healthy balance between the effort that is taken and the speed at which you are going. The fact of writing down in your journal can makes us realize that this route we are taking is not the fastest. We're running into details. Sometimes we are trying to get too many habits at once, e.g. that will be obvious in your writing in a journal. Well, if not, we could continue drying it, hindering all of them. Wanted to achieve many goals. He ended up exhausted every day, but he wrote it in his journal. He wrote things down, his feelings, how he felt tired. And in a few days, he was reading it back. Looking back at him, he realized that what he was writing was not really positive. That's it. He called it. The donor, helped him see that putting so much pressure was leading him to suffer daily. That making reflect on the level of law that he was putting on, correcting it easily to a level where he felt happy and when full speed towards its goals. Exercise, write down your feelings in the journal. If you couldn't go towards the goal today, why not? Rib tomorrow? Is it's still reasonable. Are you being too harsh? 26. Constant Reminders: Master on effective goals for people with no time. This strategy consists of constantly reminding yourself your ultimate goal. In a day, a lot of things happen, and it is very easy for our focus to divert and to go somewhere else. For that reason. Having a reminder that we see often will make us think about our goal, bringing it back to the focus of importance. Personally, I have done that in many ways. E.g. in front of my computer, I have a list of my three most important goals. Since they normally work on the computer. I see them every day. There are people who e.g. have an image in front of their closet or those photos on the wall or in the kitchen where they are every day. What is your way exercise? How could you do to put a reminder of your goal that you see often? 27. Habits: Must have been affected. Goals for people with no time. Habits shape who we are. If you see someone paid, you can deduce that they do some form of regular exercise and eat in a certain way. If you see someone with knowledge, you can also deduce that this person has some kind of stability and therefore, habits are very important. Habits form who we are through habits. Making lasting change is possible and leads to huge increases in the performance in all areas. Think for a second about high performance athletes. Those are people who need to be constantly performing at the top level. Do they have habits? Of course, many. They even form routines that they do every day. So select your habits correctly and eliminate the bad ones with the termination. These are those little things that make you strong. Move forward. You may not notice one day, but they are there. And without you realizing, you will have changed because the higher it will move you forward. But how to build them? Essentially, repeating his new repeat, repeat and repeat. There are people who say that if you do the action 21 days in a row, you get used to it. I don't know if it's 21 or 30 or so depends on the task. But eventually there comes a point where if you don't, then you have that feeling that something is missing. That is what we're searching for. That's how I know my habit is there. Take the action and repeated, set the goal to do it for 21 days in a row. If you forget one's, cover it up and start from scratch, you have to do it 21 times in a row without cheating. This is a powerful exercise because it puts you under pressure, makes you repeated many times, and therefore prepares you to acquire the habit. Let me tell you a personal anecdote from my life I could use to closing the bathroom door. That's something my family told me and I always used to it. However, I lived in London for some time where it's very humid. There. It was important to leave the door open and I couldn't I was so used to close it that it was impossible. What these words my pardon at a time, just to get angry with me because I closed the door. This is besides the point. But what I did was I placed a piece of paper with a pen and store in a visible place. And every time I went out from the bathroom, I have to leave the door open, check the box. If I forgot, I will have to start over. It took me a few tries, but I finally gotten D1 and magically I was able to establish the habit. Exercise. What is the habit you're trying to develop? What can you start building? You have it today. 28. Connect with your goal: Master class on effective goals for people with no time. This point serves to illustrate that when you have a goal that you really, really want to teeth and consciously, you will look for ways to activate them. So passive, you're going to do everything it takes. Going to modify your environment. You're going to set reminders, right in your diary. Suddenly all your life is going to be connected to that goal. In fact, has it never happened to you. You have wrapped your life so much in something that you are trying to achieve. There was a point where you were very clear that you are going to achieve it. Also, probably one of the things you think about having support from other people, people who are trying to achieve the same thing as you. You will be able to make friends and form synergies that will help you go forward in a pleasant way. And with more inertia. It is the nature of how we have set the goals. They should not feel very overwhelmed when they shouldn't feel too easy. E.g. Javier was very aware that he should learn to program for his professional future. At first, his idea was to do a little close enough to the course. He made. His life revolved around his goal. He put a picture of hackers in his wall, which he loved. And that reminded him that he was meant to be a good programmer. Also, he joined a group of people who like programming on Wednesday afternoons. It stopped a different concept every time, and others could ask questions. Afterwards. They all went to have beers together and enjoy themselves. Exercise. Think of two ways. You could be more connected to your goal. Some ideas could be, During the community. The people who has a tubular golden spend more hours a day exploring around the topics and discuss it with us. 29. Summary: My son, unaffected goals for people with no time. In this chapter, we have addressed the possible concerns that may arise that can make us abandon our goal. We have given strategies to stick to them. Among them, we have the diary that allow us to introspect, undertake what our feelings sin of how everything is going to make it. We'd have to go with everything, with our common sense and give space to our feelings to be comfortable with it. On the other hand, we have proposed to collaborate with a partner telling him or her the goal and having them as an accountability buddy, we have touched on the subject of putting constant reminders in strategic places well visible from outer space. We have emphasized the habits to avoid falling into the trap of harming the initials, short-lived maturation. Finally, we have proposed to connect more with the goal. Create your wall around it so that it finally integrates in your life. 30. Thank you!: Masterclass unaffected goals for people with no time. Congratulations. You've finished the course. In the course, I tried to give you some of the things that I consider most important when achieving goals. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The railroad begins. As soon as you put these in practice, the blockages are seen. And then you try to solve them. You fall apart. You get up, you fall down again, and you get up again. I'd like to stop for a second for you to contemplate the fact that you finish the course. Congratulations, you're one step ahead. Thank you for being with me until the end. I hope this course can get you forward in many things in life. If it made you think a bit, I'm more than happy for any questions that may arise along the way. You know that I'm here and you can contact me at any time, as well as our entire community. One more thing, don't forget to enjoy the road.
