First one is the standard version. The second one is a pro version, which is available in a few countries like USA, Australia, et cetera. If you don't live in those countries, then you will be using the standard version. The standard version is all we need to edit a short form content, so don't worry about it. Will be using the standard version so that you can follow along with me, and I will also share with you a trick to use the pro version, but it only allow us to use a few features of the pro version. So first, we have to Google CPCt, and we have to open their official website. In order to download the pro version, don't go to the third party website, that might contain some wires and that might harm your machine. I highly recommend you to download the capt from the official website. This is cap Ct official website cact I'm going to click on it to open the website. And as you can see, guys at the top, we have this download. If you hover the mouse, we have a drop down menu. Here we have the mobile version, and here we have a PC version, window and for Mac. We have to click here. And now it is now downloading the setup. Now we download the capt setup. We have to double click to open this setup. Click on this s button. As you can see that at the bottom, I have already installed the cap card, but for this lecture, I'm going to install my cap cut. So it will download the latest version of the cap Cd that is available at that moment because we are using their official website not the third party. Now, after five to 6 minutes, the cap ct is now officially installed. After five to 6 minutes, the cap cut is now completely installed. We have to click on this God. Close this window, and if you want to update your cap cut, if you have already installed your cap cut, you can click here, and as you can see guys, we can click on this version. We can install the latest version. As you can see guys, it is now updating my cap cut. Now we have to close this window. Close this window again. And as you can see, again, this window will show if you are updating the CAP cut. Sometimes it might show sometime it won't. Now we have to click on this confirm. As you can see, these are the term and policy for the Cap Cut. I'm going to click on this agree and continue. If we click here, go to the version, click on this update. As you can see guys current is the latest version. So we downloaded the latest version of the CAP cut. So we have to create a new project. This is the CAR interface, and this is how we can download and install the CAP cut on PC. 3. How to Use Capcut Pro: So to get the pro version of CP Cut, you need two software. The first one is the VPN. The second is WA RP Cloud flay. What is it? I'm going to tell you that in a moment. Now, first of all, go to the ITO VPN. It is a free VPN. I use it. They both are very easy to install and download. Now I'm going to open my cap cut, and I'm going to show you guys that I have the standard version as well. And now as you can see guys, we don't have a pro version. If I create a new project, and now as you can see guys, I have the standard version as well. So first of all, close your cap cut completely, you have to close the project window as well. Now we have to open the VPN. And now as you can see, guys, we can click on it to connect. And now we have to change this to USA. So we can search for the USA. This is the free USA option, so we can click on it to connect because the CP cut is available in the United States. Are some other qualities, but United State is the best option for us. Now I can close this and I can also close this mini window of this VPN. Now, guys, here is the best part. You have to open your gap cut, and as soon as it open, you have to immediately create a new project. So I'm going to show you that how you can get access to the pro version of GAP cut. So click on your Gap cut and as soon as it opens, immediately create a new project. Four is too late. So as you can see guys, now we have the pro version of CAP cut. Now if I import a footage, as you can see guys, right here, we have the pro version, and right here, we have AI style adjustment. We have some new animation, and even in the adjustment, as you can see guys, we have some pro features that are not available in the standard version. Now, if you go to the effect, right now, my effX is loaded fully, but if your effect is not loading, if your effects are lagging, first of all, let's close the VPN, because we get access to the pro version of a ton of your VPN, close this window. Now we can click here, and now we can connect this to a private network. But before you connect your network to private, we have to also use a pro feature. Project Assets: Now, go ahead and download the project file. And if you download your project file, if you open it up, you will get a note pad. And in note pad, we have a drive link. Copy this drive link and paste this drive link in your browser. And you will get all the assets, all the project file that we used in this course. In this drive link, we also have three complete edited project CPD files. So as you can see that, this is the 13d image file. This is the final short edit and this mobile screen effect. I'm going to show you how you can use this completely edited CpGt project in your computer. So download any project. In this Asset guide, we also have some backgrounds. As you can see guys right. If I double click, we have this background file. I believe we have 13 or 11th or something. You can use this in your short videos. We also have save zone so that you can place your cap, place your subject in the correct position. Now we have this project extract this win RR file, and as you can see, this is the project file. How you can place this project file in your cap cut? First of all, you have to open your gap cut. You have to create a new project, and as you can see, this is the location where all your projects of cap cut are stored. So go to this location. So if you want to save your time for your project location, then I highly recommend go to the settings And as you can see guys right here, you can change your project location to anywhere that you want. You can simply click here and you can set any location that you want for your projects. For me, I'm going to select documents and select folder. Now, click on the Save button, and my project location is set to the documents. Copy your project. Go to your cap cut projects location and paste this project file. And now as you can see guys, we have this file. So refresh, close your cap cut, Now you can search for mobile screen. This is the project that I am talking about. Now if you open the project, you will get this adder, so how you can fix this der? You can right click and you can replace clip Now you can select any image that you want, so I can replace image. And now as you can see guys, we have this effect. But we are getting this ads. So we have to also right click. We have to compound clip, and we have to also replace this clip as well. Now we can create a compound clip. We can check Motion Bler and now check this out. So now go ahead and download your project file and get the asset. Textor, and I will see you in next one. 5. Project Creation: This is the project window, you can also minimize or maximize your project window. You can also create a new project. If I close this window, as you can see guys, now we are back to the project window. You can right click or you can click here where we have these three dot. You have rename, duplicate, or delete. I'm going to right click and delete this project. Now, if you open a drive link that I provide you in the asset lecture, can see in that link in the drive link, you will find the project window, all projects that we worked throughout this course. So for example, in my screen, I have this dress project. So for your CpGard, you don't have any project if you are opening the cap cart for the first time. You will get the empty window. But for me, these are all my project that I work in my previous lectures or in my previous work. For example, if you have the test project in the drive link, how you can load this project in your capCard? Let me show you how you can do this. You can open the project first, as you can see, guys, right here, this is the project location. You can simply click here and you can set any location that you want for your projects. For me, I'm going to select documents and select folder. Now, click on the Save button, and my project location is set to the documents. So if I close this window, my project name is Test Project. So I'm going to search for Test Project. Going to right click copy this project, and now I'm going to paste this project in this folder. Now as you can see guys, if I right click and delete this project, The project is now gone. I'm going to close my cap cut completely. Now I'm going to open my cap cut again. And as you can see guys in my project window, we don't have any project. If I search for test project, you can see guys we don't have that project. You can also change the view to list to grid. You can also go to the trash where you will find your deleted project. You can recover them, or you can also completely delete this project. Now I'm going to close this window, close my cap cut, so this is how you can load a project. First step, copy a project. Go to the project location, where your CAP cut store all the projects, right click and paste this project file. Now I'm going to open my CAP cut, and as you can see, guys, right here, we have the test project. If I click here to open my project, so this is how you can back projects in GAP Cut. This is how you can load projects in GAP Cut. Now your task is to go to the drive link that I provided you in the Asset lecture, copy all the projects that are available in that drive. Copy and paste them in the CAP cut project file location. When the project is loaded, you can open the cap cut. All the project that I shared with you will show in your project window. 6. Basic Video Editing CapCut: Now, I'm going to teach you the basics of CP Cut. So first of all, go to the asset lecture and you can download this video from the drive link. So download the Podcast guest and podcast host. This is the final edit of these two video. So first of all, I'm going to create a new project, and the first window is the import. So in the Import, we can import any media image video or audio. So I'm going to select these two video. I'm going to drag this two video and drop this in import in our media page. Now, in the media page, in the import page, as you can see guys, we have device. This is our local media, and this is AI generated media. We can type any prompt, and it will generate AI image, AI media according to the prompt. So as you can see, we can shuffle prompt. We can go to the showcase and it will show us the prompt result of the AI generated images. So we can import any AI image. So I'm going to import, for example, this one, use prompt and less generate. Now, guys, as you can see, guys, it generate these four results. For example, if you like maybe this one, so we can download, we can give a feedback, or we can also HD this image. So I'm going to click on this HD and it will convert this into a high definition image. We can also import these images as well. Click on this plus sign. It will import this image. We can also import this. Let's click on this plus sign. And let's import this image. I'm going to select this brass Backspace to delete a media, or we can also select a media, click on this delete button, it will delete this media. If you want to undo this, we can also click here. It will undo this. And as you can see, guys, this is our media that we deleted before, it is no back. We can place backspace to delete this media. Now I'm going to import this image as well. Now as you can see, guys, this is high definition result, and this is a low definition result. So you can see, guys, we clearly have a much better image than before. So now I'm going to select these two press back page to delete. We also have stroke material that we can use in our video. So these are AI generating material that we generated in CP cut, and these are stroke material that we can use to create batter video. Now in final guys, we have brand acid. So these are images and these are video that we can save in the brand acid. Now the next page is the audio page. We can go to the audio, and as you can see guys, we can use music. We can use sound effect. We can search for any sound. For example, I'm going to search for sound. We can click on it to play the sound. We can drag this or drop this or we can click here to add this sound effect. And the fun part is, if I drag my video, for example, if I want to add this sound to this position, I have to hold my playhead. So this is the playhead to this position, go to the audio, and I'm going to click on this, and it will add this sound effect where we have this playhead. Press Backspace to delete these media. We can also add our extracted audio. We can import any audio if we want. Now let's move on to the next page, which is a very important page in this entire program. We can go to the text page, and now as you can see guy, the first section is auto caption. We can click here. We can select auto caption. In the local caption, you can import your SRT caption file. For me, I don't have any files, so I'm going to click on this auto generate, select a language and click Create. Now, here we have a function which say clear current capture. If you have any caption on your timeline, it will clear that caption and it will generate a new auto caption auto caption text file. I'm going to click on this create and it will generate auto caption for this video. As you can see guy in a matter of time, it generate amazing auto caption for us. Now, if you want to edit a caption, you can go to the caption. I'm going to click and as you can see, it will select this caption. I'm going to correct my name. And we are done. We can select any caption, we can delete or we can add a new caption. As you can see, guys, it will add a new text file, a new text layer. I'm going to select this layer, click on this delete, or we can select press Backspace to delete this text layer. Now in the next we have add text, we can add text by clicking on this plus icon. We have this playhead, it will add this text. For example, if I add my playhad right here to this position, if I click on this plus icon, it will add this where we have this playhead. I'm going to select late, select this one. As you can see guy, these are the properties of the text layer. You can change your tex, change the pont, change these settings. You can also select a preset. You can also add a stroke. So select this one. I'm going to increase my font size. We can select a style, preset, and we can also add shadow, for example, add a glue add background, or we can even add stroke. And we have a fun feature, which is called curve. We can also curve this text like this. Now we can go to the bubble. We can select this text effect as well. We can go to the effects. We can also select these effect as well. Now we have animation, we can select any animation. We can track this text to the video. We can also text to speech. For example, if you have only audio, so I'm going to click Control plus A to delete all these media. I'm going to import this video, right click. First of all, I'm going to trim this. So in order to trim a video, if you want to trim the starting part, you can click here. As you can see, this icon will appear. We can drag this trim the starting point, or we can hover the mouse at the end part of this video. This icon will appear, we can click and drag this to the left side to trim the last part. We can use this split function. If you want to split this clip into two part, I'm going to place my playhead to this position. Click on this split, and you split this clip into two part where we have this playhead. For example, let's undo this. If you want to remove the starting point from where we have this playhead, you can click. It will trim and delete the starting point from where we have this playhead. If you want to trim this part and delete this part as well, you can also click here. It will delete the right section, from where we have this playhead. Now right here, we can also freeze frame. So for example, if you want to freeze this frame, we can click on it, and it will create a freeze frame. Now we can increase the duration of this freeze frame as much as we want to. Let's delete this. We can also click here to mirror this video. We can also reverse this video. And as you can see guys, it is now reversing my clip. I'm going to cancel this. Now I'm going to Refresh, let's track, click here to add this. As you can see if I increase the size, this is in a high definition. So you can also now the next is the tax effect, which I discussed in the add text. If you add text, go to the effects, these are the same effects that are available right here. As you can see scroll down. For example, if you want to add this effect, so you can scroll down and here we have, we can find this effect. These are the same effects available in the ad text or available in separate in the text page. Let's select and press back space to delete the text layer. Now the next section is the text template. Now, by the time of this recording, I don't have a folder where we have text template. Now if you enable VPN, if we go to the text template, as you can see, guys, now I have my text template folded back. If you enable VPN, then you might not be having this folder. And if you disable VPN and you refresh your cap cut after a couple of times, Then you will get your text template back. Now we can add any text template. As you can see, we can download, click on this plus icon, and now we can add this text template. Now the next page is the sticker page. Now we can use this sticker. We can also generate our AI stickers. Let's allow to generate your prompt to generate your customized sticker according to your prompt. We can also click here to showcase, and as you can see guys, these are all AI generated sticker. I'm going to add this one. As you can see, this is in high definition, so we can use this sticker. We can add an animation, or we can add a loop animation like this. Let's lower the size, and now let's play. Now the next section is the effx section. I'm going to drag my eclip. I'm going to go to the lens folder, and as you can see, these are all the effects that we can use. Now, there are two ways to use these effect. One is to drag and rob this on top of a separate effx layer or the other one is to drag and drop this on top of the clip directly. So I will only affect this clip, not the whole clip. For example, if I have multiple clips like this, I'm going to lower my size, so we can see these two clips. Let's place this right here. I'm going to mirror this. So we have this broadcast effect. Now we can go to the effects. Anything less fold refi, for example, let's apply this one. If I have video effect onto a separate layer, it will affect these two layer. We can also change the property of this effect. We can select press back space, and if I want to effect a particular clip, then we have to drag and rope this on top of that clip. In my case, if I want to effect only this clip, then I can apply this effect on top of this clip. Now if you want to change the clip setting, we can select this effect, we can change the property, or if you select this clip, then we have the effect. We can go to the basics, go to the video, and as you can see right here, we can under the effects. We can click here to add the property. Or we can select the clip. We can delete this effect as well. Similar to this, we have body effects that applied exactly like we applied the video effect. Now the next section is the transition section, which is very simple. All you have to do is just add two clips like this and add a transition like this, or we can select a clip and add a transition. Click on this plus icon, it will add a transition and boom. We have a transition. I'm fine, select the transition. We can increase the duration, lower the duration, or we can press backspace to dead the transition. Now next we have the filter page. We can apply the filter like we apply the video effects exactly. We can drag and drop this in a separate layer. It will affect all the clips under this layer, or we can press backspace delete, drag a filter and drop this on top of a particular clip. And then we can also Change the intensity of that filter, or we can also delete that filter. Now, the final page is the adjustment page. Now the adjustment page will only applied in a separate layer. If you want to add this on top off a clip, it won't applied onto a particular clip. The reason behind this is because if you select an clip, we have a separate section of adjustment layer. That is why we can't really apply the adjustment layer onto a particular clip. Adjustment, we can color grade color corrector video, which I will be discussing in the future lecture. So don't worry about it. Now this is pretty much the basics of CP cad. Now your task is to addit this patcast. I will provide you the final portcast result. This is the final podcast result, you can download this video in the drive link. Swet for final portcast, you will find this video. These are two unedited video. You can edit these two video and make this final result. Now to edit this patcast, I'm going to share with you my final project. Close this and now I'm going to search for this pod cast edit. Now we did not discuss these properties, yet, so don't worry about it because I will be teaching every piece of detail of this software. So your task of this lecture is to create the final result of this port cast. This is the unedited result. You will find a final port caar result in the drive folder in the drive link that are provided you in the Asset lecture. Go to the drive link, download these three clip, portcst gas, port cast host, and final podcast. I will also provide you the project of this added. So this is the final project. This is podcast added. You can download and place this project in your cap cut. You can review it. You can use the same effect or you can use a different filter or adjustment layer. Change This Before You Edit: Now, the most important part, if you are editing your short videos is to change the aspect ratio. If you spend countless hours of video editing and you forget to change your aspect ratio, then your work will be lost. So for example, I have my clip right here, and for example, if we edit, we apply some effects onto this clip. So first of all, I am going to go to the Ibot and now let's go to the stock material. So if you forget to change the aspect ratio and you change the aspect ratio after you added your whole video, then your work will lost because we have to change the aspect ratio first and then added the video second. 8. Safe Zone For Shorts: The second most important part when you added your short video is to take care of the save zone. Now, what is the save zone? First, go to the driving that I provide you in the asset folder in the asset lecture, right click and extract this folder. Now in this folder, if you open this folder, as you can see, we have the save zone, the PND with different color. You can select any color, it doesn't matter. In my case, I'm going to select this one. Let's drag this and rob this right here. Now I'm going to drag and rob this on top of my video. First step, change your aspect ratio. Now I'm going to select my video and I'm going to change the scale to fill my video. As you can side this is our video, we have to fill this video to the whole screen. If I disable this, you can also enable and disable a track from this icon. Now as you can see we can press control, use the scroll, we can zoom in and zoom out. Now I'm going to click here, detache my media pool and minimize my media pool. Now, if you notice, if you are watching short videos, is when you're watching short video, right here, we have some icons like light button, command and Share button. Here, we have the channel name, etc, and on top of our video, we have some texts. The reason why I provide you the save zone is to avoid these area. Don't provide any valuable information to this area, because the user will not focus on this area, because there are some icons and some channel names that are covering your important text and important information. User will not follow your video. Make sure provide valuable information, valuable content inside these area. Drag your save zone and then edit your video. Make sure you provide your information inside this area. This is called the save zone. 9. Make Shorts From Long Video: Now, if you are converting your long term content to a short term content, we have a feature called auto frame, that change our long term content horizontal video into a vertical videos. First of all, I'm not going to change my expert ratio. First, I'm going to select my clip, scroll down and enable auto frame. As you can see guy, we have this auto frame, and if I close my project, right in the project window, we have auto frame right a as well. I'm going to open my project again, select my video, scroll down, and I'm going to enable auto frame. Now, the aspect ratio is set to the original, which is the aspect ratio of this clip. I'm going to change my aspect ratio to this one and let's change the image stabilization to default and change this two maybe slow. Now as you can see guys, it track my video, and it converting this long term content into a vertical video. This is a vertical video and this is long term content. Now we have some array if you are using the auto frame, and we have two person on the screen at the same time. So I will explain this first of wallets, apply this effect. And as you can see guy, it crop my video and convert it into a vertical video. But right now, we don't have the vertical video. Because if you export this video, the software will export this video as a long fm content because we did not change the aspect ratio. As you can see guy, the aspect ratio is set to original. We have to change this to this one, and now we have the vertical content.
