Ready to build real crochet momentum while creating adorable farm animals?
This 3-Day Crochet Challenge is designed to help you grow your skills step by step with projects you can actually finish and techniques you can confidently reuse.
Each day builds on the previous one, so you’re not just making cute animals...you’re building a solid crochet foundation.
Day 1 – The Chick
You’ll start with the essentials: crocheting in the round and shaping a simple 3D form.
A quick and satisfying first win to boost your confidence.
Day 2 – The Pig
Now we level up.
You’ll learn how to start with a magic ring, change colors cleanly, and sew pieces together properly.
This is where your amigurumi skills really start coming together.
Day 3 – The Sheep
On the final day, you’ll discover no-sew construction that is crocheting parts directly into the body for a seamless finish.
You’ll also learn the popcorn stitch to add beautiful texture and dimension to your project.
By the end of the challenge, you won’t just have three adorable farm animals. You’ll have mastered foundational techniques that allow you to tackle more complex amigurumi with confidence.

Hi! I'm Emilie Bolduc, a crochet designer from Quebec, Canada. When I was 8 years old, my mother showed me how to crochet and it became a real passion for me. In my twenties, I discovered that crochet could be modern and tasteful. My childhood dream of having my own little crochet company became reality!

Hands-on Class Project
This 3-Day Challenge will help you build real confidence in the world of amigurumi, one small project at a time.
Each project introduces new techniques while reinforcing what you practiced the day before. The goal isn’t just to finish cute animals… it’s to build skill, control, and creative consistency.
Day 1 – The Chick (Beginner)
Your foundation day.
You will practice:
• Holding your hook and yarn comfortably
• Crocheting in the round
• Creating a simple 3D shape
This first project is designed to give you a quick, satisfying win.
Day 2 – The Pig (Skill Builder)
Now we level up your technique.
You will practice:
• Starting with a magic ring
• Changing colors cleanly
• Sewing amigurumi parts together
This is where your projects start looking more polished and professional.
Day 3 – The Sheep (Intermediate)
On the final day, you’ll strengthen your technique even more.
You will practice:
• The popcorn stitch for added texture
• No-sew construction
• Crocheting parts directly into the body
You’ll finish the challenge with stronger hands, better stitch control, and a more efficient workflow.
Materials You Will Need:
• 3.5 mm hook
• About 50g of bulky or worsted weight yarn in yellow, beige, white and Pink
• A bit of Brown, Orange and Black yarn
• Yarn needle
• Stitch marker
• Scissors
• Polyester stuffing
• 12mm Safety eyes (not for children under 3 years old) or black yarn
