1. Introduction To The Course: Hello everybody. My name is Mario and I'm a photographer, a YouTuber, and a videographer with many years of experience, I created and edited logs, tutorials, courses, and even troubled videos. Actually, one of my YouTube channels is a Travel Channel. With my experience, I know that editing software required powerful computers with a lot of RAM memory. And for many people, this is too much. Well, there is a solution, the best mobile application to edit like a pro kina master. In this course, you'll learn everything you need to know to start editing amazing videos with Kinda master. And the way I organize the lessons is exactly like the way I added, like my workflow. I will show you how to organize your footage, how to edit, how to add text and titles, effects, music, sound effects and more. And the best of all of this is that everything is going to be done just with your phone or your tablet. This course has everything you need to know about Kinda master in detail. So if you have any idea on how can a master works, or maybe you understand the layout of Kinda master. I will suggest you to skip the first lessons and jump straight to the editing. You also want to let you know that in the future I will be adding new lessons and updating this course as needed. So are you ready to start creating amazing videos? Let's begin.
2. Let's Start: Okay guys, this is the first thing you will see as soon as you open Kinda master. Well, there's like an advertising at the beginning. That's if you are not a premium subscriber of picking a master, but you just have to skip it. Okay. Well, you have here on the top left corner the frequent asked questions then what's new and the settings in the frequent asked questions, as you can see here, it's all the questions that you may have like for example, your subscription or the features of Kinda master. You can make questions also hearing email support on the bottom. And Eve, The question was not answered before. They will add it to these frequent asked questions. So it's really, really cool. As you can see here, you have all these questions so you can actually come here and use it. Now, what's new? What's new is very interesting because in a mastery is updating all the time. And because it's updating all the time, getting new and better things for the application. We're going to let you know here in the news. For example, you can see here getting spire try the old NuGet projects, bought them because they just created that button and it's really cool. They have like a presets and templates. We'll see in a beat, so don't worry about it. So this is about the news. Now instead deals. You're going to have a first on from the top. Okay. My information, my information is important because in case you decided to become a premium member of Kinda master, to subscribe to kinda master that I'll suggest you to do it because he's really, really cool, then your videos are not going to have watermarks, there's not going to be advertising. And you will have the option to get all these templates and projects and everything they kinda master how for you, even music and a lot of stuff, a lot of stuff, even stop videos or stock music and everything. So I'll suggest you to do it. So if you register a skinny master premium, what you can do is here in the bottom kinda Master Account, you sign-in or you create an accounting Kinda master. And then if you have it in the tablet, you have your kinda mastering yourself or maybe you have another cell phone. And every time you go to kinda master in those devices, you just sign in in your account and you can use your accounting multiple devices about kinda masters going to be basically information about the software. And I'll be vice capability information. This is good to check before you start editing. So you can see depending on your phone or your tablet, whatever you're using, you can see how capable you are tablet is and what can a monster is going to be able to do based on your tablet? Okay, we're gonna go here and we can see I'm using a very current tablet, I'm using now the Galaxy S7 for sure you can see that you can do for k and 18. You can actually have like three layers of between 18. So it's like really cool. You'll understand what I'm saying when we start to edit. So don't worry about it. Then the codec performance is going to be 39.6 megapixels. It's like you can't do that. So if you want to do it like a lower resolution, you can do it. That's no problem with that. But this is the capability, this is the maximum that you can actually do with this tablet. Okay? Now we go here and then you have a reset Kinda master. So whatever you change in the settings and you decided to go like when you installed in the application, you can reset everything they're editing. And this is also very important. It says media browser, full-screen mode. So if you do these every time you're editing, you will see the media browser in the full-screen is the same with the audio. For now, I'm not going to activate it, but no, don't worry because while you are starting to edit, you can always, always come back to set these changed this. Now sorting sort project list is by date modified. What does it mean when you open Kinda master? You saw that we open Kinda master for the first time, okay, because I just install it again so we can start with the scores. So when you open it for the first time, you have nothing. You have just what you saw in the beginning. But if you already make one or two projects or three projects, you already edited when you open Kinda master, you're going to have a list of the projects you D8. And this is the organization, how is it going to be? So I will suggest you to leave it in the modified because what happens is if you are editing something and then you go for lunch or you go for a trip and then when you come back, you want to keep editing that video. Then when you open Kinda master, the first thing that you're gonna see, the first project is going to be the last one you were editing. So I think this is the best way to go Like date modified, but you can change it if you want if you want to have it by name, I don't know, you can change it. It depends on your organization. And actually, as I said before, you can always come back to settings and change it. Here. If I location's everything you do like the audio, the video you are recording or ADT in the photos. Everything you're gonna do is gonna go to kinda master folder. And I think you should leave it like that. Or if you want create a folder and put everything in the same folder. So organization is very important. If you know that every time you do something's gonna go to this specific folder is going to be much better for you. You're not going to be like looking in, looking for this video, looking for this picture that I was editing. I don't know where is it, especially if you're a tablet is powerful and, or yourself when he's powerful and you have like hundreds of gigabytes in your phone. Forget it, It's better to be organized and know where everything is going. Now, advanced, Let's go to experimental settings. And you have here a list of things that you can do. Let's go randomly. For example, unable up to 60 FPS, it means that your videos are going to be recorded in 60 FPS if you want. So it's up to so it means is giving you the option to choose between 24, 30, 60, Up to 60. Okay, that's really cool. And here enable adding video clips with up to 240 FPS. That's really cool to make like slow motion and these kind of stuff. It's really cool. So all of this is very important for you to know that it's here that you can change these things. I will not select any of them. And then you will ask me, but what, you are never recording in slow motion or you're not going to export your videos. And 60 FPS will not. Now normally I do it in 24 FPS, but if I want to do more, I just come back to settings and I activated this. Or if I wanted to do slow motion, I just come back to settings, inactivate this. Why am I suggesting to these? Because if you start to activate all of these, the application is going to start to work a little harder when it's not needed. If you are not going to do slow motion, if you're editing is not going to be 60 FPS, think you don't need to activate it, so you don't make your software to work harder, okay? You just do it when you are actually going to edit in that specific thing. Like, for example, enabled saving with up to 60 FPS. I never, I never use it. But if you want to edit, for example, a gaming video, I think that would be perfect, you know, like for gaming videos to have a higher FPS to see all these details. Then you activate these, you edit your video and then you deactivate it because don't make your application to work so hard to don't be mean with Kinda master. Okay, Let's go back. We talk about settings already. As you can see here on the bottom left corner, it says subscribe. Now, when you click there, you can actually register to kinematics is the price is really amazing. I mean, for the quality of this application, you can pay for the year and you're gonna get a big discount. I don't know how it is in your country. Every country, every region has a different variety. The Bryce, a little bead, but it's not a big deal. So I will suggest you to subscribe. But for now we keep talking about these layout. On the top you're going to see Create New and get projects before Kinda master use to have a wheeze art. And the wizard was like, if you have like ten pictures and you wanted to do like a collage of pictures and do a very nice real with the pictures and make a video with the pictures. Then you were just clicking the wizard selecting the pictures and in a master was going to do the project for you. And that was really cool. But now they change it to get projects. And if we come to get projects, you'll see what is happening. Look at these kinda master has already projects done for you. You can see for example here, I'm going to put pause because it's very loud, but it's really cool. I mean, this is already done. An IV, you download the project. You see here on the bottom it says download. If you download it, then you can start editing. And then instead of Kinda master, you can put your name. You can put here where it says youtube.com slash Kinda master. You can put youtube.com slash Mario for example, or youtube.com slash whatever your channel is, then you can check the back IV. You see some video here. I'm going to put play and go forward. As you can see in the letters here, Kinda master. You can see a video in the back. You can actually put your own video also. So what you're doing is you're actually downloaded the template to the project and then you can change it and you can do whatever you want with the project. And this is really cool. You have many projects here. You have like these little kiddie, looks very nice. This is a square, so that would be very good for Instagram. And you can see on the bottom left corner it says that it lasts 16 seconds and then it's 1. 1. So it means he's one-by-one video and that's really cool because it's telling you this is good for Instagram actually, you can see there funny pages. And then he says Instagram social and it'll be Effects, text effects. So wherever you have there and you can change the pictures, you see, you download it and you use the projects. So this is really cool because a project is already done. You have a lot of projects here. And if you see on the top, you have read through a minimal music video for a project. For a music video. If we go to music video, you will see you have this ones. And it looks like it's for Instagram, so it's pretty cool. And because this is new, let me tell you, you are going to be coming and coming back here and you're going to find new and new and new projects. And every time they updated the ad, big amount of projects, they're going to let you know in the news, remember that we saw the news at the beginning. This is basically what replaced the wizard. So I'm really happy with this. We're not going to create the project now. Let's wait a second. Let's keep going. Asset Store. This is the shop actually, normally it's a shop where you're going to buy stocks, like you can see, for example, a, let me see, you have to split the spectrum. This is actually transitions. You can go for the new things that came. Look at this transition over here that says a lot role, then you have some effects and you have the bleach for example. I don't know if you know what it's bleach. I'm going to show you this is the glitch. It's cool. It's really cool. So you can download all of these. You can go to lands and also you can see these lens distortions. These are like, you can use. These transitions are like special effects, you know, then you come here, these are basically 100 percent transitions. This is something that it's made to be a transition. You have 3D transitions, action transitions, color across plead graphic transitions. So you see like the heart and then it goes and it's a transition. I'm going to show you this one for example, OR gate. So you have here more transitions, then you have some stickers that you can use. Unmute mosaic, DC. So cool. You have music. So all of these, if you're registered to kinda master and you become a subscriber, you're going to have everything. Everything for free. Look how much music you have and you know what you're looking here, that it's already a lot. If you come a little bit here, you'll see that this is artist. You can go to acute acoustic music. You can go to children's music, you can go to cinematic and the quality of the music. It's really, really cool listen. It might tend to use these songs for like a drone footage. So it's really cool. It has a lot of stuff. Okay. This is the shop. It says shop. It says store in case you are not registered to kinda master, but come on when you Gleick in subscribe now and you'll check the price of Kinda master. You will be impressed in like all of these things for that price, That's really cool. Now under you have follow and you have YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook. Social media working in mastery is part of. So if you go to YouTube actually you're going to get also some small tutorials of Kinda master, some information about Kinda master, because Kinda master has a YouTube channel. It's the same with Instagram, same with the token, Same with Facebook, so you can follow them also. And I was excited when I install it in a master for the first time. I really liked the application, so I'm following all of them. But okay, on the bottom, you have recommended apps. This is also something new by the time I'm making this video. A bit saying is speed ramp, video stabilizer. Whoever knows editing already and have an idea of the editing process will understand what is that? What I'm going to explain very fast. If I click here, I'm going to go directly to the app store to get it. Okay, they are free, they are free to download. Video stabilizer is when you have a video that it's a little shaky, you can use these videos normalizer to stabilize your video. And then immediately when the video is thermalize, you can click Continue and you go straight to kinda masters. So your video is going to be stabilized and linked with Kinda master. This is pretty cool because all of these apps belong to the same company. Can a master, so whatever you do here is linked to the Kinda master editing. So you could be editing something and then you just link to the video stabilizer and then come back to the editing with a video already stabilized. That's pretty cool. Speed ramp is very, very interesting application. I use it all the time when I do these drawn food to chairs. When I do, for example, I feel my friends with the skateboard. It's very cool. You just take the footage, put it there, and then you take in cut the specific spaces where you want the speed to change. For example, a person that is running and then he is doing these crazy jump exactly when he's going to jump. You can make it in slow motion. And then when you finish the job, you can go back to the speed. So this is basically speed ramping. This course is for Kinda master and that's why I'm not showing you exactly what these applications are doing. If you're interested in knowing what these applications are doing, let me know. Let me know you have options here in this platform, you can leave me a comment or create a discussion and I'm always on it. I'm going to answer to you and immediately I'm gonna do a lesson so you can learn, okay? This is it, this is basically all the layout when you open Kinda master. These was the introduction to kinda master. And now we're going to start basically editing. We're going to create a project. I'm going to explain you about organization, the layout of Kinda master when we open and we start to create the project. So let's go for it.
3. Organization and Importing: Okay, now let's talk about organization. This is one of the most important things to learn as, as a video editor for the workflow that you are going to start, the developing organization is gonna save you so much time. Ok, now we're going here in the folders, I'm going to internal storage. And as you can see here on the top, I have these kinda master edit. It's a folder. And when you open it inside has another folder with the ways art beer peaks that we just use the previous lesson to make our nice project, project about the pictures. And then we have all the food touches that I want to use for the reason of these cores to start editing and, and to create a video with you guys. So as you can see, everything is here. Okay, normally in this folder, I will have also our deal. I will have sound effects. I will have so many things here that I'm going to use in the project. But in this course, I want you to see all the things that Guinean masters offering. Mastery is offering also music, sound effects and titles and so many things that I would like to use what they are offering. Okay. Also for you, if you want to purchase it, you're going to know what they are giving you. Okay. So that's why I don't have but normally you supposed to have in this folder everything, everything you are going to use and that's organization. It's going to help you to work phosphate. So let's open in a master, it's already opened and actually, there you go. As you can see now, the layout changed because we have these little project that we just did in the previous lesson with the pictures. So remember what I told you in the first lesson when I was talking about the bottoms and I said These button in the middle with the plus sign. There is to start the project is dc is the first thing you're going to do as soon as you open kinda master to start editing, you take in that button and then they're going to ask you, which is the aspect ratio of the project you are going to do? One. For example, let's start from the beginning. The 16 by nine is what you do, is using is what the TVs using CNN I mean, when you are watching TV via that 16 by nine, okay, 916 is actually embed that. Normally you can use that for the stories and all these things that you're using for. They used to be Instagram, but now actually the stories are also YouTube and also in Facebook. And 11 are videos that you can post in Instagram. Of course, you can actually also add videos with 16 by nine in eastern around, but they're going to be cropped. So it's up to you and so on. You can see all the kinds of aspect ratio that you have, okay? But for the purpose of this course, we're going to go for the 16 by nine. There you go. Again, the same thing like in the ways art. They are asking you to choose the files. But now we're going to go here to kinda master, edit these folder where I have all the food touches. As you can see in every footage in the bottom-left corner of these little screens, you're going to see this symbol. And this symbol means that this is a video. All of these are videos, but here you have, these two have a different symbol is like a little mountain there. Those ones are pictures. Okay. So then, you know, more or less what are you working with? I'm going to start to choose the order of the videos, how I want them to appear in the timeline. Of course, if you commit a mistake is not a problem because at the end, you can actually change it. And I'm gonna show you how to do that later, so don't worry. So I'm going to start choosing first thing that is appearing here. It says that the video clip is a 4K resolution and the maximum supported for editing in this device is 1920 by 1080. So I'm going to use a copy of that clip to 1080 because Kinney Master what he's going to do and that's always what's happening. If you have a resolution that is higher than what your device can handle, you can just press OK here and kinda mastery is going to convert it. If I would be editing this in my phone, I would be able to edit it properly because my phone is taking 4K resolution. That tablet that I'm using now is not. But don't worry, because it doesn't matter. The quality is going to be amazing. Use that. Let's click OK. There you go. Now I want to add more videos here on the right you see this circle and in the middle there is a red circle here on the top says media. You can go to media and you can keep adding more food ditches. There we go. And I'm gonna do that to us. All the footage that I meet. And there you go. I added everything. As you can see, everything that I needed in this moment, I added it. So now in this lesson we talk of organization, how you have to organize everything in a folder so you are not going to miss anything. You're not going to waste time like, you know what, I I forgot the reason footage that I need you go to media and you start to look in which folder is that footage? And then you have another footage and you have to look for the food that you have to forget about this organization is very important. Everything is in the folder and he's going to be very fast to find everything if you do it like that. Okay, so now in the next lesson, we're going to start editing. That's exciting. In the next lesson, we're going to start dreaming. All our footages, fat in the food that just leaving the parts that we want and making the shape of our video, our video is going to start to become a proper video. Okay, so see you in the next lesson.
4. Kinemaster Layout: Okay guys, so I said in the previous lesson that we are going to start editing now and to cutting all the foods JSON trim in the food touches. But before we do that, we have to understand the layout of kinda Master. How is all distributed? All the buttons. As you can see, you have buttons in the left side and you have these media wheel in the right side. So on the top left corner you have this little triangle pointing to the left. If you click there, you're going to go back to the beginning of the program, to the start of the program. I'm going to show you to this part. You're going to start, as you can see, we have already two projects. Know DIY project on the right is going to be the width art project that we did with the pictures. And the one that doesn't have a title yet is the one that we are doing now that we're going to start editing. So we click here and then this is going to be like that. And we present in the middle. There you go. We come back here. So below this triangle, these are row pointing to the left. You have the undo and redo buttons. Disease. If we are starting to edit and we do something that we don't like, oh, we want to go back to what it was. You just press the undo button and then if you realize that actually was wrong, you want to go back to what it was. You can do the redo button, that is the one on the bottom. So this is it. Now you have this symbol here, and when you click here, you will see the options that they give you. These options are to capture the image that you have. There could be a video or whatever you have there, and he's going to capture it as a picture, okay, is like a screen capture that you can do in your phone. This is going to do the same with the image that you are editing. And now you have three options to capture and save to capture an ad as eclipse. So added in the timeline where all the videos are and to capture and add us layer what it means is going to go to the timeline also where all the videos are, but not in the same line is going to be below them in another layer. And during these cores, when you're gonna start editing, you're going to understand all the layers and why you want more layers instead of putting all the footage isn't just one layer. Now, below you have the settings and as you can see here, you have settings for the audio, for the video and for the editing in the audio, you see two options, Auto master volume and project master volume. And this is basically always a 100%. You can still change it and you can play with it. You don't need to use for now the auto master volume. Also you have the audio fading startup project and audio fades out into a project and you have it off. What it means is if you add a song and you would like the song not to come to like too harsh and you wanted to fading. And then when you finish the video, you want the song to fade out. Then you can add here the ON and OFF. Normally, when I add music, I don't use it because I tried to edit in a way that the song starts with the video and finishes with the video. So we don't need to fade in, fade out. But if I need it, I will do it here. And as you can see here in audio fade in startup project, when you click it on, then it says it's 0.20 seconds in, you can actually go and he's going to take nine seconds to fade in or three seconds or 2.25 seconds, you can decide how many seconds is going to be the fading in how many seconds is going to be the fade out? For now, we'll leave it like this. We know that he's here in the layout. So anytime we needed, we just go to settings and we do it. The same is going to happen with the video. In the video is going to give you the options are fading and fade out indices so that the video is not going to start to very hard. She's gonna start vary subtle and so you can put the fade in and fade out. These were Example is something I always use or I tried to use it. Okay, because it makes the video more professional. And these, this at the same time you can see here below the line. So you can put two seconds, three seconds, four seconds, or however you want it, then you have the editing. And this is exactly the same as we have in the settings at the beginning. Remember when I showed you the settings and you could put the pictures, the duration of the photo claims that 3.5 seconds, so you cannot more and take out and you can put two seconds the same with the duration of the layers. So you can still play with these settings here in the layout instead of going back to the beginning to do all of this, okay, the feelings Greenfield and screen Ken Burns, I talk about it already. It's just that you also have it here. So we're gonna put check. And now we go below the settings where you can see these little lines and the arrows pointing up and down. This is basically when you have a lot of layers and you cannot see them because it's too many layers below or you don't feel comfortable editing with so many layers in this moment because this screen is very big, you press here and this is going to basically take you through all the layers. And on the bottom right corner you can see the image. So he's inverting. You have more space to play with the layers. And during the course when we start to edit, you'll understand that sometimes when you have few layers is better to be comfortable and try to play with this here, okay? And then when you click it, you go back. And here on the bottom, you're going to have these arrow pointing at this rectangle that looks like a door. Okay? Every video you're going to see here that between every video there is a plus button. Okay, we'll understand why is this a blast button in the future lessons. But for now, these means this is the separation between one video and the other. So if you're in the beginning of the video and you click this bottom left corner, that it's the arrow pointing this rectangle that looks like a door, isn't it? If you click it, you go to the next video, exactly the beginning of the next video. If you click it again, you go to the next one and so on. You can go to all of them. It's pretty cool, isn't, is very, very interesting. Now we know that these buttons, and now we go to the wheel and the media wheel is basically what we use to add media, to add audio. And even if you see the microphone there in, the microphone is to record a voiceover. So you can actually record a voiceover. And the button in the middle, the red one. If you click it, it's going to start the camera of your tablet or cell phone. And he's going to start recording you. So this is really cool. The button on the top is the Media button where you know already that if you click it here you cannot. Pictures and video media button for you to know doesn't allow you to add music or audio is just for pictures and photos. The audio is next to it, as you can see here is the audio. And then here in reality you have music sound effects and whatever you record it, you have the songs, you have albums, artists, you have all of these things, folders and things that you maybe have with music that you are going to use. This is the bottom to add music, Okay, now, layers, what does it mean? If you creaking layers is going to give you the option to add media again. So photos and videos is effects as duikers text and handwriting. Ok, I'm worried that we're going to see all of these during the course. But media, why would you have a media here and also a media in the wheel? The media here is because it's going to be as a layer. You saw that he's written layers. It means that in the timeline, if you add one media from layers is not gonna be here in the timeline, is going to be below the videos that you already have. And this is more if you want to add a B-roll or something like that. And also when you want to add a text, for example, the text is not going to go in the timeline on the first line is going to go over the video, so has to be on the bottom in another layer. Ok, that's the reason you see here also these little like a kiosk or like, I like shopping little kiosk. Go there. This is to buy things. You go to the kina master asset store where you can buy like null, for example, is Halloween. Here we are. We're recording this course in October. So you see all of this like cute or other available or you have blood splash and these things, horrors shake. A lot of stuff that they added. Now remember I said they keep improving and improving. If you click in those ones, you're going to have speakers and a lot of, a lot of stuff that you can have here in this shop. You have even titles, for example. So you see these beautiful titles and most of them are going to be animated. So it's really cool, really, really cool. And you can use it because I paid for the subscriptions, so it's a premium. I basically can use everything without paying anything extra. Iv you didn't pay steel. You can go to the shop and check because there's a lot of stuff that is for free that you can also use. It. Go, let's keep goin. You have music. Look how many songs you have. You can keep going and going and going. All of these ones are basically premium, but you can look for more. And these are by artist. If you can see here they have acoustic children, cinematic, cinematic for example. You see here the third one, secret garden and nice for free. Tom. The fourth one is for free. Most of them are going to be Premium, but still you have some songs for free. So like I said, you don't need to purchase the application to use it. So let's go back now we know basically everything. And of course, this triangle here in the corner pointing to the right is like in every single software in the world, is to delay the images. So if you click here, you're going to start to play the videos that we're going to start editing. Now before we go to the next lesson and we start editing, I'm going to show you something. If you realize here in the timeline, none of the videos are selected, they are just there. But if you watch the video, now the video is selected. It's all in yellow. You see it's selected. But did you see that everything changed? Now you have in the left side these three dots on the top. Now you have the garbage bin here that it was not before. And in the right side you have these scissors, you have the clip graphics is speed reimburse. You have a lot of information, okay, this lesson would be half-an-hour. If I'm going to start to explain you all of these, we're going to learn all of these buttons and all of these functions during the course. So don't worry, everything is going to be explained. But in the left side I can start already explaining you these three dots on the top. If you click them, you can see that it allows you to duplicate this footage. If you click in the first one is going to duplicate next to it. I'm going to show you if I precedent and X1. There you go. Now as you can see, you have one and you have to, you have these two. Duplicate, okay, now remember I told you these undo bot bottom that is here. I'm going to click it and we undo what we just did. Okay, we're going to select this again, the video because I want to show you this. Now you can see that you have the garbage or so and I think he's explaining by itself, if you click the garbage, you erase the video, as simple as that. So there you go. We are ready to start editing. And so in the next lesson we're going to start dreaming all our footage, making the footage very nice so we can start editing. So see you in the next lesson.
5. Let's Start Editing: Now we're going to start editing. This is a lot of fun. What we're gonna do now is to trim the videos, the parts that I want and the parts that I don't want. Like I said later when we put the music, I'm little bit corrected this much better to make it perfect. But for now we're going to trim the videos. Ok, we have here like three minutes. You can see here on the bottom corner and the left and the right side through me 3.09 minutes. So it's not a big video, but we want to shorten it up. We want these to be less than three minutes. Ok, let's start with the first video. Before I'm willing to cut it exactly where I want it, I'm going to show you how to cut here. Remember the first thing you have to do to start editing? To start editing the video is touching the video. That means you selected the video and you can do things with a video, so I'm going to touch it and now is selected. Now we can cut the video. Did you see the C source here on the right side on the top. So if you click in the C source, there you go, you have the options to cut. He says stream to left of plane head. What does it mean? You press there is going to cut the video and he's going to erase all the left. And if you press the second line, there is a stream to right of play head is going to cut the video and erase all the right side of the video to make it more to make it understandable. Let's see, you see the red car in the middle of the video. The red car is going to disappear there. Okay. Sorry, there. I want to cut there and I want to erase the right side of the video. So let's press the second line. Dream to write a play heads. There you go. You see that the video was guarded and erased the right side. So now if you put, you click here on the top, like check it's done. And then if you press play, you see when the car reached their buck is Scott, we just cut the video. This is very nice. That's what I wanted to do. Let's undo. Remember we have here these bottom two undo. I already told you that these botanists to undo, but I'm going to try to repeat and repeat and repeat every time I press a button or I choose some functions so you can understand you memorize it and with practice you memorize it. And I hope also that you have some videos already eat your tablet or a cell phone with the kinda, kinda master open. So you are with me in the same times we can learn, that's the way to learn to practice. Okay, now what do we wanna do? We're gonna select the video again. Let's go again to the cutting to the Caesars. And now the third one said split at play head. It means it's going to split the videos, is not going to erase anything. Look at this. You see it just to split the videos. But the way he says split a playHead is because it split the videos and select the next ones so you can start working with the next one. And the first part is going to stay How it is is very simple, as you can see. Now let's undo this. And now let's select the video again. And then let's go to cut. It says split and insert freeze-frame. What they do here is they're going to split the video. And these frame that he's exactly here in the video where the guard is there and you see that there is a person walking on the sidewalk or the breach next to it. This is going to be freeze-frame that he's going to stay there. There you go. So we have here the video of the car, and you can see that when the car reaches here, this is a freeze-frame, stays there. You see I move it, it doesn't move. This is like a picture. And then when we come here, the car can continue going forward. So very some useful situations that we can use this for now I don't need it, so I'm going to undo it. But the idea is that, you know, that DDS there. Okay, so now let's start to cut the videos. Let me see. Let's go here. Actually, you know what? When I told you that the red car disappear there, instead of putting the point of this tower, let's cut it there. Okay, so we're going to this scissors and then we're going to cut and trimmed to the right of play head because I don't want that part there. Okay, let's just perfectly there. And then let's click here and there you go. We already did it. Now we're going to this second video. We're going to try to do the same thing. The second video is actually the opposite side of that breach. This place is called beehive in Bosnia is beautiful as you can see, you can see is very nice. So let's, so, let's see here It goes like DES and I think there is enough is cutting already the door from the bottom. Yup. I think there is. Okay. Because I don't want to cut the door of that like a church tower in a church over there. Okay, so let's go there. We select the video. Don't forget to select, because if you know, select your going, not going to find these options. Now we go to this resource. And again, the same thing for him to ride of playhead. There you go. As you can see, we are cutting the videos and this is going to be very easy for you if you start practicing. So I will suggest you to practice here. There is the last example I want to give. That's my wife that he's going to talk, he's going to say something. But the thing is that we are chatting there about what to say before she starts talking. So I would like to cut all of this. I see that she starts talking there. So I want to see their reason behind me is one of the manner. So you can hear my voice saying Go and I don't want that. So let's see. There you go. I just said Go and she's going to start talking there. So I want to cut that part, okay, and start in that moment, there we go, two Caesars, but now we wanna do the opposite. We want to cut the left side. So we go to the first option. There you go. And now let's go to the end. There you go. I want to cut it there. So we select the video and then we click the Caesars again. And now we're going to do that. We're gonna go dream to write a play heads. I'm gonna erase all of this. And I want to show you something that I was not repeating enough. Dream to, let's press the bottom, their ego. But now, to go back to the timeline, I can keep editing. Remember that you just dream something on the top right corner, there is a checkmark. When you finish trimming, you have to check mark. Now you go back to the Timeline and now you can look for more images and more food touches and all of these, okay? So this is the way of how you are going to trim something. Now, I'm going to show you something else before we go to the next lesson. Imagine this one in selecting. And I went to treatment, but I want to do this, for example, I want the video to start there. Ok, so I have to trim just a little part there. There is another way of how to trim and image. Did you see that this yellow frame around the video in the site, it has these 34 little dots. I think therefore, my God, they're so tiny that I cannot see. If you press with your finger there and pool to the right side. Look what is going to happen. Did you see what I just did? I just trimmed the video. So in this case, you are not trimming from the middle, you're trimming from the site. So then this is another way. Okay. And maybe I won her. Let's see, let's, let's put check. Let's play head. Let's see how it goes until when I wonder video. There you go. I think that's enough. So when you press play, of course you see that these, I'm going to go again here so you can see it again. When I press the Play button, it becomes Pause button. So when you are ready, you say that saved I wanted there, you just press the pause button. Okay, remember that? Now, remember if you wanna trim something, what you have to do, you have to select the video. And now we go to the right side to the end of the video. And I want to dream all of that site. So you're going to go where the dots are, the corner exactly in the, in the edge of the video, you're gonna brass and you're gonna draw, getting to the place you want it. There you go. So this is another way of how you can do to cut or trim the video. So now I'm going to finish. I'm going to have fun now and I'm going to finish dreaming all the videos, and I'll see you in the next lesson to add some music.
6. Let's Add some music: Like I said before, the music is going to help us to rearrange a little bit our cuts and give all the video a nice pace. So let's start adding a song. So we go here to the wheel and we are choosing out you are now. And we're going to come here. Now we start with the top with music. You can see that I don't have any music in the tablet or if it's in yourself on a, you don't have any music. It's going to be like this MD, but then you can download music and add it here. Now in sound effects, I have just the sound effects that is basically by default it comes, is one of the three effects that comes with kinda master. And you can find more if you click here in the kiosk on the top right corner, some of them are going to be free, some of them are going to be just for premium users. And then in record it, you're going to have actually the audios that you record it. So like voiceovers and stuff like that. That means songs is going to be very similar as music. You have the songs that your tablet or your cellphone half, and I can download it somewhere else and just auditing my doublet and he's going to appear here. Or again, you can go to the kiosk, go and choose the music that kinda Master has for you. We go to albums. This is going to be the same as the ones on the top. So you have also here folders and whatever it is, it's basically that if you have music in your tablet, everything's going to be appearing here. He's very self explanatory. So let's go to music again. As you can see, I don't have music, So I'm going to take in the middle to get music. Like I said, you don't need to purchase it. You don't need to be Premium to edit. But if your premium, you're going to have all, all of these options that you're going to see. Let's creaking good music. And then you come here where you can see actually we have a lot of music. This is all the music that you have, the styles. Imagine all of these styles and every style has a lot of songs, so it's really cool. Let's, let's talk a little bit about this from the top. If we're going to dope, you have some stickers and some things that are new. Most of them are new, as you can see, they keep updating and this is pretty cool. Then if you go, if you go a little bit down, you're going to have the effects. You have the blurred, the colour distortion, all of these effects, and they are really cool. We're going to have a lesson talking about the effects. So don't worry. We have also the transitions. This is actually a lesson that is coming. Then we have some speakers, then we have that the fonts that you can basically download and that seed, this is really cool. I mean, kinda Master has you covert for anything you want and then you have the music. Here is sounds or sound effects. Okay? You can get cars. Car sounds in fantasy film sounds for example, it's really cool. Horses. Let's listen to courses. That's fine me. That's really runny. So then you go over here, it's this really cool. You're going to have a lot of, a lot of effects that you can use in your footage is, you can see here most of them are premium, but you have some of them that are for free. And at the end, you're going to have the clip graphics. This is really cool. Also. Lets go to music. This is basically what we're doing now. Now because the footage is our drone footage is, is a lot of nature also is very calm. I was thinking about acoustic. Let's see, an acoustic. And I was already, of course, looking for the song and I found actually was the first one that I heard that I liked better because it sounds is very nice. Listen to this. So he's very nice, he's very calm, very nice. And we're going to play with this zone now we're gonna see how to edit your footage is with the song or gate. So what you do is you put download and each installed. It was very fast. Okay, it's downloaded it already. So we're gonna click the X on the top right corner to close the shop and we're going back music and you can see now Family days, there is one minute of 43 seconds. Our video for now is one minute and 22 seconds, but don't worry, we'll fix it. So what do you do to the music, to your timeline where you're editing, you just select the song. It's going to sound again, but you can put pause. It's okay, you know how the song goes. And because he selected, you have here the play button and you have the plus button when you press the plus button is going to add a song to your time. Landless do dot. There you go. And then because you finished already choosing the song, you just click the check mark on the top right. There you go. And as you can see, you have the song in the timeline under the video, okay, now, as you can see, there is a red line there where the song is, that red line was there from before. So it means that they kinda Master is assuming that you wanted to song there and you put the song there. But next time, when you want to choose the song, if you want to put it in the beginning, you just go all the way to the beginning and then you choose the song. It was a mistake, but it's very easy to fix. And actually it's good that I did it so you can see how to drag the files. So what you do is you just hold the file, you go to the song, the audio, the music, and you put your finger there and you hold it and you're gonna feel like a vibration in the tablet or the cell phone. And then you just go and drag it to the beginning. And that's it. Very simple, very simple. Now the fun part is starting well, we're going to do is to start chopping up the footage is cutting, the footage is more, but they're going to be exactly with the beats of the music. We're going to create a pays in a pleasant video for the eyes and ears of our viewers. So, which are the bits I'm going to show you the beats. I'm going to click Play, and I'm gonna make a sound every time there is a beat so you understand more or less, which are the beats that I find. Okay, that's a song. And I'm going to give, for example, Boom, boom, boom. Those are beats. You see that they are going with the music and we're going to use them to chopper footages and make the footage is nice. So I'm going to find a bit and I'm going to start to chop up the footage so you can see how I do it. There, for example, is the other bit and I think I can cut it there, so the video's not going to be that long. Let's go again. There you go. So you can see there are 4 somebody. So what do you do? You select the video and you drag it all the way to the 4.8. There you go. Now let's see how is the change that you see the switch was perfect and I left it a little bit so I can already cut this part so you can save time. So that's another beat. When I've got it. There. There you go. Now let see again from these change to the other Gay. I think it's pretty simple and it's very easy to understand what I meant with the beats and how am I doing these changes? So what I'm going to do, I'm going to go all the way to finish all the beads and all the videos. And then we're going to the next part to fix some videos that we have there. Okey-dokey, I did everything. Okay. I got those into videos. They are very, very nice. They're going with the beats, the base is done. And now what we're going to do is these parts that I wanted to show you look at this, it listen that Sania, he's speaking there, he's Tolkien. And what I want these music not to get confused with the sound. Let's see. So it's nice if you can hear the sound is really nice, but it's not perfect. What we're gonna do, we choose the music. There you go is selected. And when we start to look here, options that appear here, trip split information, loop docking boys changer, what is ducking? That can means that the volume is going to go down when they hear the boys. So let's click ducking. Now let's go and let's listen again. As you can see, the color of the music change to gray. So let's click on the top right corner again the check, we're done with this fixing and let see how it sounds. The document is working a little bit. We have to go here on the top. Now we select the video where the sound is. You see here on the top right corner there is a our audio bought on. We're going to click it here. And then here we can actually change. You can see here, put the volume up and down. We don't want to put the balloon that much because it can be store mega distortion in the boys. Let's go maybe 10% more. That volume is going to be fixed. Now next to it that there is this symbol. There was the symbol of ducking. Remember when we put docking, the same symbol, Well, we're gonna do is that when we get there, the sound has to go down here, the docking us to go down and he's gonna go down maybe to 40%. Let's do it. Let's do it to minus 40%. Okay, well, somewhere there, there you go. Let's see what happened. So did you see what I did? Incredible. Now the voice is a little bit higher and the volume of the music, it's a little bit lower. Now I'm going to recap everything and tell you what I did. Again, we have to remember how to do it. No, remember we had this song that was very loud. We select the song and then we just select ducking. That is here, the duck. You see ducking. We select that. And it means that now this song is going to reduce the volume every time there is an audio, but we have to tell her, we have to tell the song where the audios r. So now we have all these selected. We go to the audio file, that is the video that is on the top here. We select the video, and then we have on the right corner, the audio button. We click on the audio and then what we decrease to put the volume a little bit higher and next to it that the docking bought on the docking volume, we put it to minus 41%. We can even put it lower or higher, but I don't think is necessary now. Three, nice, I really like how it sounds and weekly check. And we did it as simple as not. The best of these kinda mastery is that if you have, for example, many places where you can hear actually a lot of voices and you wanna put them. What you do is the music. You select the dock in, and then you just go to every single video without you did you want to use the doc in width and then you just reduce to 4140% percent. It's just practice. You just check which is the best kim balloon that you want to use and go for it. Always try, try, try until you feel comfortable with it. Now before we go to the next lesson, I'm just gonna go with very fast to the options that you have for the audio old. So we're not going to use them and now, but I want you to know that they are there because the idea of these courses, you have to finish the course knowing everything. And remember that these courses forever you can watch it as many times as you want properties in practicing, you will get all the buttons okay? As you can see when you select the, the audio, the music, you have more options here. So reverb, of course, as the name says, reverb is going to give a big reverb to the song. And when you click it here, you have actually options. It's going to sound like a cave like cathedral bathroom, Miranda bathroom. How would the bathroom sounds? This is going to be more useful when you have a voice, like for example now s0 ice token. But if you want to use, for example, your voice as a voice-over, you can have fun with the reverb and putting reverb to the boys with the music. It's not gonna work that nice is better to use it for voices. Now let's select again, you have the boys changer. Again. This is also going to be more for the voices. And then the boys changer alien like Carl Rose and chipmunk. So basically when you do a voice-over and you select that video and you change the boys to LEN OR DES. I'll suggest you to go and practice because it sounds really funny. And then you can play with your videos in these kind of video, it's a, it's more like a travel video is very nice, nice and calm. So it's not a fun video, so we can play with it, but I'll suggest you always play with it. Practice and you learn. And you're going to have fun actually, let's click it again so we can go to an excellent docking. We talk about it already, loop the name it's, it says by itself, if you have a video of ten minutes in the song keys like, I don't know, 23 minutes. And you want the sum to be repeating and repeating. You wanna put the loop so the sum can just gonna keep going and going. Going all the way like this until you decided to stop it. Now down you have the option Luke to the end. Of course if you put loop, then this option is going to be obviously on so you can use it also. So he's going to loop and loop until exactly the end of the video is not going to go farther. Okay, we don't want to use the loop. The audio is already bigger than the video, so we're actually going to cut it. Now you have treatment split is the same thing as what you do with the video. You can trim the audio from the middle, from the sides. Dreamed caught it. But in this case what we're going to do is something different and UC are going to show you what I'm gonna do here. Now if you go to the top, to the top right again, you're going to see the audio that basically the options that you can use to put WMAP to PWM down to take the audio of the music to the left, to the right, you can pitch it, you can do whatever you want here, this is basically a mixer and then you have in the middle you have an equalizer. So you can put like the sound of the music is going to be with them, for example, here, with base or hip-hop, Yes, not so this is an equalizer. Okay, and then the last one is really interesting. What we just did now with the boys is ducking, right? They kinda mastery is gonna do it for you. But sometimes you want to really put the volume buried down in a specific parts and things like that if you want to do it in a very specific way, I'm telling you I don't use it much. You want to do it like that. You can create keyframes. So if you brace here for example, and the top it says a blast button and a circle. That's to add a keyframe. So what I'm going to do now, I add a keyframe, and as you can see here, they're ski frame. Now it added a keyframe, you add another key frame, then you go, for example, here you add another one and they hear and you add another one. What you did is you can put the balloon down, for example, of these keyframes here in the middle. Okay? It said like in every editing software you can use keyframes to animate things. This is the way you do. And then you can add the balloon here. You can put the volume down here, and then you can go to the next keyframe and do this same thing. You know what I'm doing? You can see what I'm doing, right? So this is why you add keyframes and things like that. Play with it and try to do it exactly as the music and the boys goals. But these much, much, much smoother when you do it with kinda master like we did it before. But you never know, there's going to be a moment maybe that you're going to find these useful. And remember we just go to undo bottom here and we go back to how it was. So we go to undo, undo, undo, undo everything. And that's what we had from the beginning, it's done. Okay. Now we know basically all the information and all the buttons for audio. We finish already chopping older video. It's perfectly in place now. And now I think it's time to go to the next lesson where we're going to add some transitions and see you in the next lesson.
7. Transitions: Okay, now we're gonna do transitions. Transitions is actually something that is going to be decorated. He's going to make the video smoother. You know, when you go from one footage to the other, instead of having something very harsh like Omaha, sh God, you're going to have something small. It's something very nice. And actually, we did the cuts exactly with the pace of the Song, of the music in the last lesson. And that's going to make the video very nice, actually like this. You don't need to add transitions that still, we're going to add some transitions to make the video more dynamic and not like everything is going to be the same gods, you know, let's make some variety, let's have some fun. Okay? Now, transitions, as the name says, is when you go from one video to the other. And in between the videos, as you can see here in kinda master, you have a blast button. You see there is a button here, it's a blast button. So that's a transition. If you click on the plus button, you're going to have these options transitions all over. If I click in non, There's nothing. If you go to acceleration, for example, you have these options of transitions. And if you click in the transition, you will see the, how would it be, for example, that's how it B you see, it's like acceleration from one to the, let's see, deceleration from the site. That's actually nice. I like it and is the same, this one, let's see this one. Wow, that's like assume no. It's like assume acceleration is really cool. So you have these options. Now that we know how it works, let's go to the most common transitions. You here in the bottom you have classic transitions. Those are the most common. The zoom out. It's really cool. F8 through and you have the crossfade. Let me tell you, this is the most used transition in the world, not just with kinda master all editors. This is the transition that you use more, you are going to use more. The crossfade is like this. You see, it's very simple, very subtle, very nice. So this is the one that you use more. Now that we know all the transitions, let's do this. We added that transition here. So if we play the video, my suggestion is don't use many different kinds of transitions in the same video because you are watching a video, you're getting used to the transitions and then something different starts to happen. It's not comfortable. It's like your subconscious. That's how art works and that's how editing works. You have to work for the subconscious of the viewer to make the video pleasant for the eyes and the ears, don't mix a lot of transitions. So we started with the crossfade. Let's stick with the cross fade. So let's add another cross fade in the next change here. And as video, remember you press the plus button and then you go all the way to the bottom in classic transitions and you have the crossfade, okay? Now you click on the top right corner, they check, it means you're done. And again, very nice. Now something else I want to show you. Let's select this transition here. You have all of these things here. And you can go all the way to the bottom and you can see here that says get more. This is the sharp of kinda muster. So you have a lot of extra transitions and some of them are free. But you can see, for example, these are 3D transitions. You have option, you have analog transitions, and so on. Okay? For example, let's go to analog like here, for example, VHS adjuster. Look at this transition. You see it's really nice. There you go, that's enough. So we understand now that you can also get some transitions in the shop of kina master and for premium users, these are all included. So let's close. Okay, now we're back here and now let's finish with the transitions that add some transitions here. In this part, for example, I see that these two videos are from the same place. So maybe I'm not going to add a transition there. It's like it's getting closer. So I'm not going to add their transition. Maybe here I can add the transition. And the same thing, classic translations, I'm suggest, I'm gonna tell you, go, have fun and not all the transitions you want, you practice with all maybe you're gonna find transitions that you love and you're gonna use always, that's going to be your style, but you're going to find it if you start practicing. Ok. Now these are two foot, which is basically the same place. So I just leave them like that. I never use transitions when you're going from one footage to another word, there is a voice when the person is talking because the volume is going down. I don't know. I think I feel more comfortable to watch it without a transition there and also when it finishes. So let's see how it goes. Let's go here to see how it goes. I'm going to add that transition there also. Okay, I'm going to finish adding the transitions in a beat. But first to finish this lesson, I want to show you something. Look how the video starts. It just start like these. Even the music is starting with a little fading, but the video is boom, very harsh. And at the end, as you can see, the music is still going here. But in a master, understand that your video finished here and it's finishing the song there and look how it finish. These HIS very harsh. So what are you going to do? You're going to come here to the left side where it says Settings. And then it's here, our videos, you can see in red. So in audio, you can see that the project master volume is 100%. That's very good. And then you see audio fade in and fade out. Okay? I'm not going to use the fade in because the audio is starting very good is the natural fading of the audio file of the music. So I don't need to add that, but I would like to add a fade out. So the song is not going to finish that harsh. So I'm going to do it like this. Now on the bottom it says that this fade out is two seconds. I think two seconds is too little. I'm gonna put it to four seconds. Okay, there you go. Now we go to video. Remember that video was also starting very harsh. Let's use the fading and the fade out in the video. So it's going to start very subtle, and it's going to finish very nice fade in and fade out. Now we're going to click check and it's done. And now let's see how it starts. Much better. It see how it finishes if we can do some touches their Before we go. Very nice, you see, it's done. I'm going to finish adding the transitions here in the video, and I'll see you in the next lesson where we're going to add some layers and effects to the video.
8. Layers and Effects: Okay, the video is becoming very nice to. Video is really nice. It transitions that we chose everything is very nice. In this lesson, we're going to talk about the layers in the wheel. You can see that you have the layers, but you click hearing layers is to add different layers like media. In media, you know that we're going to add videos or photos effects that we cannot effect stickers, text and also handwriting. So we're going to talk about it. I'm not going to add many things to this video, but I want you to know everything of kinda master. So I'm going to talk about this. Remember that in media here in the layers is to add video or photos. Audio is not included here. If you want to add a new layer of audio, you go to the next part and then the other side of layers where it says audio, like we did in the lesson where we added the music. So we start with media. If you want to add, for example, let's first look for the position. Sania here is talking. And I want to add another video like a B-roll on the top of the conversation. Let's see what she's saying there is that behind her is this beautiful building that is the main attraction in most star. We want to add a B-roll. If we click here in media on the top of the wheel, the video is going to be added in the same time line. And what we want is to keep these video where she's talking and at the other video on the top of that talking on the top of that video like a B-roll. We don't want to erase these videos. So what do we do EC, instead of adding media just like that, we're going to add it as a layer. So we do layer, we do media. And then here we have the files that we were using. And there is this file in this corner that we didn't use. We're going to use it now. Again, this video clip is over. It's the same as all the videos when we were adding them. There you go. As you can see, the video is going to be added. Very small bet. It means you can make it bigger. There you go. It fits the screen, it fills the screen. Great. And remember also that I was telling you about this red line exactly when I was listening to Sania saying behind me is a very nice, one of the most iconic buildings, exactly where I wanted to put the video. So that's why stop there. And then I added the media. It goes exactly their steel. I can move it wherever I want. But it's in the workflow is gonna save you a lot of time, okay? Now, this video is a layer. So as you can see, you have options here like chroma key, animations and things like that. But because we want to use the whole video in the whole screen, we're not going to need any animation. And emission is more if you want to add a small video and you want it to appear in one of the corners of the screen. For example, if I want this video to appear here, okay, and I put then the, an animation out and Nina animation like slight from the left, it goes like this. You see, slide up, it goes ideas. This is the outer animation to go the video out. And then the in animation. Let's do, for example, the fate. You see what I mean? Okay, now you understand these, but we don't want that. Okay. What do we want these actually the video to be in the whole screen. So we're gonna make it be, and I'm going to feed it in all the screen. Okay, C, there you go. Eat fits the whole screen. That's what i want. So we don't want any animations. Non because I was just showing you that. And let's go here I think out animation, I also have it. I'm going to show you these. How do I know that I have an animation here? When you select the video, you here, you can see here these little red line. It means that you have these animation there, so you click it here. You go all the way to the top and it says None. Because you don't want that animation. There you go. You don't have animation anymore. But look what is going to happen now it's a B-roll, C, So eats a B-roll. But these video, this video has audio on each interrupting the voice. I don't want that audio. So what you do is just click in the video satellite it. You go here to our audio, you see the audio icon and you just mute it. If you click here on the top, you're going to mute it. Now you don't have audio. Remember all the ways you put the check mark here and that's it. Now there's no audio. That video doesn't have this destructing audio. Lucky. Very nice. Now what we can do to make it better, we select this video, the layer, and we can put, how do you want it to come in? And let's put like a fading. And let's check here. And then silicon again, Alice go to out animation. We put the fade out. Okay, now when you're clicking the fate, you can see here on the bottom that eats 1 second fade out. Let's put it less than 1 second. Let's put it 2.5th. Let's see how it works. I like it, you know what, the fading is going to be. Also have a second. I want to do the fading 2.5th. So we go here, 2.5th. There you go. Now we have the B-roll DES is how you use the layers with the media. Now let's go back to the layers and we have here effects and it's clicking effects. And you can get a lot of effects in the shop. But that's the basic effects that are included with the kinda master as soon as you download it. Okay, let's click here and you have the Gaussian blur and the mosaic. Let's go to the Gaussian blur so you know what it is. Remember, it's a layer. So it means it's going to appear as a layer and then you can move it wherever you want. Let's click here. There you go. You have a new layer again because the red line was there, it appear here, but don't worry, you can move it. Now. You're gonna click check here on the top right corner. There you go. And now you can see that again, it's like a square. You can do all the way to the whole screen or you can do just like, like a small screen there. These you can use, for example, when you want to go over a person that is in the video that doesn't want to be in the video. You can do it like this, for example, it's make it smaller and let's click check for now. Yeah, let's go somewhere here. You see, for example, let's imagine that the, the girl of the pink jacket on the back doesn't want to appear in the video. There you go. You go to the to the Gaussian blur. You hold it until you hear this. You feel the vibration and then you go all the way there. You click it here. Now you go here and you can see that the blur is there. You hold and sell. You select the Gaussian blur, and you move these here. There you go. Now click check. And now let's see. That's basically the blurred and you're using. That's basically how it works. He's very simple. Remember that every time you select something like in this case, I'm selecting here the Gaussian blurred the effect. There's always options next to it. You can see all these options and you have settings like you can see on the top you have how the effect is going to come. So it's an animation he doesn't come that harsh. It comes very soft from derived from the lift. You can use it as also like when the animation effect is finishing. To go to the left, however you want, you have settings and you have the opacity here. Or basicity means that you don't want the effect that blurry. So you can go down to 50%. You can actually take it out. You can do whatever you want with the effect. Then you have dreaming split there is the same as everything. You can cut it whatever you want, but also you can do it from the sites like I showed you already. The shape. You can see here a square shape. And if you click in the shape, you can have a circle. You can have whatever I look at these shapes for example, it's weird. But well, you can have different kinds of shapes. You have the rotate or mirroring and rotate those so you can use it here in the top corner. You see you can rotate it. So you can do everything. This application is very interesting because he's very flexible. It allows you to do so many things. Let's click check, but I don't want any effect, so it was just to show you. So what you do is you select the option and you go here on the left. And it's the garbage. Mean, you click it and there you go. The trash being no. That's it. Let's go to the layers and let's finish this lesson because this is actually very easy to understand. If you want to put some stickers in the video, you go to speakers, you have some classic stickers here. All of the stickers you would like to use. And of course you know that you can get more in the shop. And then again, you have here the text and do takes these very nice because you cannot whatever you want. This is actually for the next lesson, but you can add the text and then you can play with it. But we're going to talk about it in the next lesson. So we're going to go to the trash bin again. And then in the layers, the end, at the end, you have handwriting. This is a lot of fun because you can actually ride however you want on the top of the screen. I'm not going to use it now, but you practice a lot and you'll find something useful for this. So let's click like this, select the effect and erase it like you already know. And that's a, that's all about layers and it's really cool. Isn't ladies like to practice and practice? So please practice because if you don't practice, you're not going to learn. This is not memorizing pores. You have to practice. Okay, I'll see you in the next lesson and we're going to add some text. And in relation to the text and titles, we're gonna make the video perfect and see you in the next lesson.
9. Adding Text and Titles: Okay, we're towards the end of the editing. Now we're going to add some titles, some text, maybe. Let's see how can we animate it. Also, the screen looks black because remember that we put these fate in the video. So let's go a little bit forward so we can see the image, so we can check the contrast between the image and the text we're going to add. Now to add text or titles, you go to the wheel that we were already using it in the layers section, the layer section where we also used, let's click in the layers and you're going to see the d, that means text here on the bottom. Click it, and then you have to add the text because the video that we're doing is a troubled video and it's about Bosnia and Herzegovina. Let's put a title, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Then you click OK, and it's done. Now in the text, you're going to see that you have two icons. The one on the bottom with this arrow that is pointing up and down. You just click it and pull it and you're gonna make the image bigger, okay? And then the one on the top is to rotate it as you can see. Now, if you rotate it and you regret that and you want to put the title straight, you just drag again from the top and drag it until you see a red line, that you see the red line, that means the image is straight, okay. Now is a street but is not in the middle. To put it in the middle, what you do is you move the image around again, you see that's the middle, but it's not in the center. So you go down again for the straight line. There you go. When you see both red lines, it means that's exactly the middle and you leave it. There you go. Now, we want to choose also the font. Maybe you like this one, but if you don't like this one, I'm going to show you how. You should remember that every time we have something selected, like if you are in the timeline and you select a video or you select music or I don't know, and effect and the layer, new options are going to come here in the right side. So it's the same with the titles. We have new options here on the right side. And now on the top of the options you have these AAA here, that's the font. We're going to look for the font. If you click it here, you see all the kinds of fonts you have here, okay? And then on the left side you have the options. On Android, these are the forms. If you go to Latin, you have all these fonts. This is pretty cool. The second one, it looks like a Halloween one. Then you won't go to the sunset if that is very common to use them for these kind of videos. You have all of these options. So it's very simple. You choose, for example, these Francoise one regular. And then when you choose it, you're going to see that it appears on the top as red. And then you just click the check here on the top right corner. And there you go. Now the writing changed. Now let's go back to the fonts because I want to show you something. These fonts are going to be the ones that come with the application, but you can also get new ones in the kiosk o here on the corner. If I click the Moscow, you can see that you have a lot, a lot, a lot. These ones that are here are, if you see here on the top, it sounds silly, but you have said if you have the splay handwriting and they're all included with the premium version. Some of them are also free. So don't worry, just experiment, just go there and you're going to find something that you're going to like foreshore, that's x. Let's click the check mark. And there you go. We go back here and now we have these writing. Now let's check a little bit these options that we have here on the right in animation, overall animation and out animation, the ones on the top, of course, is very self-explanatory. It means how the image is going to come. For example, in animation, you have all of these options. Let's do the slider, right? That's the weight that the image is going to come for this kind of video. I think I'm going to choose, choose the fate one that is like this, I like it. Then we click check on the top. Remember that you have to experiment, goal and check all of them because my taste, this doesn't have to be the same as yours. So let's go again, select the title. We have the opportunity here, we have the rotate that you can also do it from the screen like I showed you, you have the opacity. Actually it can be darker, it can be clear. I want to show you the capacity. You can actually make it like these play here and it's going to be very clear or even be severe. Of course, we want the capacity to being a 100%. So let's go here to blending. Blending needs basically how the text is going to interact with the, with the image. For example, in this case, if I put like soft light, you can see that it's blending in that way but you cannot even read it. Hard light, okay? And experiment, like I said, check all of them. You're going to see more or less how it's blending. I would like it to normal. I'm not going to use the blending. I just wanted to show you how it is. Let's go to the next one that is the text option. In the Text option you can see how to center it and basically what we did in the beginning that you can do it also with the screen, with these two arrows, do two icons that I hear, so don't worry about it. Now let's go to the next one to see the outline you have on the top. Enable it. And then you can play with it like a little beat or a lot. You know, let's don't make it like this just a little bit. That's pretty cool, isn't? It? Is very nice. I'm not going to use it for now because I want to show you the shadows and if I use it is not going to be that visible. So I'm going to check the Enable out and then let's go to this shadows in the next one, you enable the shadows and you can see that there is a little shadow that appeared there, but it's very clear. So we can actually more shadow as you can see here. And I think that looks better than the outline. It's up to you, always up to you. You have to check, you have to figure out and figure out which one is that you want, that you want or that you like better. As you can see here on the top under the navel, you have this option of color. You can actually put a color in the shadow, and that's really cool. So try it, experiment with it. Like I keep saying, tried to experiment with a callers. Let's see if the shadow is nine with it is nice with colors. Now let's go back. And as you can see down, you have the glow. Let's see what is happening with the glow. Look at these, it's glowing. Now let's go back because I'm not gonna use it. And now the background color, you enable it here. And then you can see you have a background in case that you have an image with a very lot of highlights and you're, you want to use the title in white, then is going to be very difficult to read. You can use a background like these and you can actually, if you click here, also give a color to the background. Okay, we're not going to use the background because it's not needed, I think is very nice, invisible from there. But, you know, where is it? Now I'm going to show you something here up. Of course, if you go to the C source, you know, you cut the title, you trim it like you can do with every single layer in this program. And I'll hear next to you have the color. This is square here is the color. So you can see that you have all the colors here working together to make it a white. But here on the left side, if you go to the middle, you have the color wheel, which is the color that you want. Imagine that we want red, which is move this here. There you go. Then we can move this here that you see here in this corner, you can see the red color that is there. So imagine that that's the one you want. Then the left side you have on the top also some little squares here. And then you can actually choose colors from here. But I just did these red ones. So I'm going to click check and look, it changed to red. And that is pretty cool, is something I don't want, but it's pretty cool. So let's undo this. And there you go. I think we're going to stay with this. We're already check everything in the title, so we just click chick and the title is done. Oh, I forgot something we did at the end of the title, but not the out. Let's see how it looks. Yeah, the out is very harsh. What we do, select the title again. We go here in out animation and we do the fate also. So it's going to go out exactly as it came in. There you go. Now lets see. Very nice, simple, isn't it? That's the way you add titles. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to add one title more here because nobody knows why this her name when they're watching the video and I want her name to appear there. So let's see exactly in which moment we cannot that I would like it to appear there. So let's add another layer, another text, and we're going to add her name. There you go. I think like DCS. Okay. This size, I would like the title to come maybe here. And let's change the font and you know what? Let's go to the shop. Let's go to the shop and have fun. These Potidaea looks nice. Let's choose the Potidaea. Let's see what happened. We download it, as you can see here, it says Download, we download it and it's done very fast, very fast. Now because he's done, we click the X here. So I remember it was a sans-serif font. So we go here to sans-serif. Goal here I guess is somewhere here. There you go, but I irregular. There you go. You selected remember, and then you click the check on the dope. And that's it. Let's put in animation. And let's do it to slight from slide left. There you go. Now we go to the outer animation and we're going to put this light, right? And that's it. Now we go back and then you know what? Let's do some shadows and all the things that we did in the other one, let's add some shadows. We enable it. And I think that shadow is an OK. Maybe we can put it a little bit more, spread it like these to make it a little bit darker. There you go. And that's it. Let's see how it looks. We click, oh, don't forget to click the check on the top and see how it looks. I think when the B-roll starts, it doesn't look good with the name. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to short shortened the Bureau law a little bit. I think there you go. I think there is OK. And then I'm going to move the Bureau Just a little bit. There you go. Now, I think it's OK. Maybe the senior name has to go a little shorter in time also. And now let's see how it looks. Perfect. I think it's OK. What do you think he was fun? We added text and of course you have to go sit down and start to use your tablet or yourself, an experiment they start to play with kinda master. And in all the texts possible that you can imagine adding all the effects and animations and everything to learn. So I'll see you in the next lesson where we are going to correct a little quarters of all our footages.
10. Colour Correction: One of them to do some correction of the color. I think the images that I have, the don't need much correction, but there is a couple of them that we can actually play with. Let's do these actually B-roll. As you can see, the bureau that color is a little couldn't be fixed. So the first thing we have to do, remember, every time you want to do something, you have to select either the video, the audio, or the layer. In this case, we're going to select this layer that it's the video of the Bureau. Okay, there you go. It's selected here in the options. We go a little bit down. We're going to see color filter and adjustment here. Okay? These two, let's start with color filter. Color filter is actually something that is already done. You don't need to do any color correction. This is more like color grading. You have the basic warm, cold, vivid. So let's go to Basic. In basic, We have a lot of options, as you can see here. Now, you have this option, for example, I'm going to put it now so you can see the color, you can see how it changes. You see now we go to the next one. Now we go to the next one. And like this, you can go all over and start to look for the image that you would like. Okay, this is in basic. Now, if we go out of basic and let's go to warm, we have other options, as you can see. So if you want to use a color grading or you want to experiment, you can look for these things. You can maybe find something you like and you can start using it. So what I'm going to do is to put known. We're going to go back and we're going to do it by ourselves. Okay, let's go here to adjustments. And as you can see, you have all brightness, contrast, saturation, all of these things. For example, every time you adjust the color, play with the numbers, play with the color, go from all the way down to all the way up. Okay? So I will go like this and I will find maybe these is nice and it was a plus eight. In contrast, for example, I like to contrast the image. This put it in ten, maybe saturation it going to put the colors is going to make the colors more vivid. So let's go to saturation. As you can see, if I go all the way to the DNA is super greening is to saturate it. So let's do it somewhere here. Byron's also check what is by resuming black and white. And I'll hear no, let's make it in five or 10%. We go to temperature. Temperature is going to make the color to look like it's towards the end of the day or towards the beginning of the day is going to be a warm color like in a sunset or is going to be a blue color, like it's a little cold. I'm going to show, you know, this is blue. You see, it didn't seem like it's a color like after sunset, you know? And then if you put the temperature a little higher here, for example, is sunset color. It's pretty cool. So I'm gonna go a little. I, you know what, I like the sunset color, I'm going to leave it a little bit there. Highlights, we will have many highlights there. But if you put the highlights now and you can start looking at the colors of the Skype, but then the image goes wrong. So you can really, you have to really go around and check which is the best option. You go and then shadows. When I put the contrast, the images that are places that are darker became darker. So I'm going to play with the shadows a little bit to save those places. Ok, now again, you can see the gain, how it easy, it's very, I'm gonna leave it in 0, gamma m when eliminating 0, lift. Let's see what he does. 0, Whew. I'm going to leave it in 0. And I think that's it. Now when you finish editing the colors always you have to click on the top left corner that check. And it's done. We just did this color correction. Let me see. It looks nice, but now that I'm looking at Sandia token, the colors are not nice. So let's correct them also. Lets go here we go to remember here to adjustment. And then we're going to go again the same way with the brightness contrast. I think I'm gonna put a little bit saturation, I'm gonna put a little bit go. I think that's OK. We're going to click the Check button here, and that's it. Now I feel better. I like it. You can see that the video is a little chopping, not like TAC, TAC, TAC, TAC is not a very fluid and it's because we're adding a lot of stuff in the video. But don't worry, when you export the video, everything's going to be okay. Okay, basically we finish our editing. I'm going to correct a little bit some of the footages and the colours if needed. I don't think I'm going to need to do much, but I'm going to try to finish correcting the colors. And I'll see you in the next lesson where we're going to export our video, how to export it. So we're going to have the video able to be shared anywhere you want. Okay, let's go to the next lesson to export our media.
11. Green Screen: Okay guys, we're going to talk about green-screen and how to do it, okay, we have this picture here is basically just a white background with a plant. So it okay, What I'm gonna do is I'm going to add a media, but I want another layer, the layer on the bottom. So we're going to create a layer. And here in this layer we're going to add media. We're going to add this one that is a green screen. Then of course we can match it exactly how we want to fit on the screen. There you go, okay, is feeding on the screen. Let's actually pull this all the way here, okay, now we have it perfectly how the green-screen works and why are we using green screen? No. Have you ever heard about Brown screen or black screen or yellows King? We use green screen and also sometimes you're going to see blue screen and we use it because the skin tones, they don't have green or blue. And that's why we use green-screen. Imagine if we will be using an orange screen. The skin tones have a lot of orange. So then you are going to become transparent like a, like an invisible men. And that's why we use a green screen. So the idea of the green-screen is these when you do it, and I want you to check here when you do it, you have to put the green screen here on a second layer that always have to be like that. Don't forget that. Okay, now what we do is we select the video, the green screen video. We're going to come here and you're gonna see chroma key. Immediately. You're going to put in naval. And boom, we got the green screen. Now you can see that they're white background became a little bit greenish so that you can play here, we disperse and teach. You see you go to a 100 percent, you go to this. So let's go a little bit there then let's go a little bit here. And you can be playing with these percentages as soon as you see that this is perfect. That's it. It's done. Okay, Now, you can come here and show them Moscow. What we want is the buck to be completely black and the front to be completely wide. So if we go like this, that's not correct. We go like this. That's too much. So we're gonna go like dare. You can see that the back is completely black. And then here, I think these would be the perfect position for the green screen. There you go. Imagine if what you have is not green, is blue. You can come here and you can choose the screen that you want. Like I was telling you, we don't use oranges, reds, but what happened if you are not using the green screen for a person? What happened if you have a footage where there's some orange stuff that you don't want, then you can use these colors. You have all the colors that you can imagine here. Okay? So this is basically how the green-screen works. Now you also have the curves, and let's show what we have there. You have the curves where you can go like this and you can see that is softening everything up. I don't know if you can see it in your screen. You see the details in the hair is going a little bit to the edge. You see a little bit to the edge, we can go. So here, maybe there would be perfect. There you go. I think we have the green screen and that's it. It's as simple as that. You've got the green screen. If we press the Play button, we can actually watch the video him a big screen. That's pretty cool. Let's close it and that's it. As simple as that. What do you think it's so simple?
12. Exporting: We finished with our editing and now it's time to export the video, to ask in a master to take all or footages, all our editing and put it in one video to use it in media and whatever you want to use it. So how to export the video? We go into top right corner. As you can see here, you have these little square with an arrow pointing up. You press that button, and there you go, you come here. You're going to choose which is the quality you want to export the video, you can go to 70-20-10, 80 or 1440 in your cell phone, maybe it's going to go all the way to 4K resolution, like I mentioned at the beginning in this tablet, you just go to 1440. But I will always suggest to go for the best option if you're gonna share it in Facebook or media, 10-18 is the average, but I always try to go for four k. So it's like this. Let's go to the frame rate. In the frame rate, you can do the 24 frames per second. This is actually seen him on how they use it very often in senior, we can go to 25, that's basically in Europe and I'm going to do it in 30. Let's do it in 30 frames per second, okay? And that's it. Here on the bottom, you have low high-quality. I don't know why would you go to lower-quality unless it's just to save space? But I will always go like this to the highest quality. If you see here on the bottom where it says export next to it is written about 363 megabytes. That's the average, more or less like this is going to be your video. Now, if you put it lower resolution, it goes lower also in that number. But come on, you have to do with the things properly. Let's go to the highest resolution. Now export. It's going to take awhile. It can take minutes, seconds depending on the length of your video and it looks like it's going faster, so let's wait for it. And then I'll show you something else. It's about the Finish. Now you can see that the video appear here in the left side. You have the video, you can play it, you can share it. You can actually erase it. If you want to share it, you press the share button and you can share it to the media. And that's it. You did it. So now let's go to the next lesson is like a bottles lesson where we're going to talk about making a video with pictures.
13. Pictures in Kinemaster: We're going to try to make a very small video with pictures. Let's add pictures and make like a collage of pictures. Of course, we have to create a new project and we know already, we have to click here on the middle where the plus button is. This is a new project. We're gonna make a 16 by nine project. That's the size that we put in YouTube, like we said. So we're going to choose the pictures that we have. These are the pictures we use for the Wi's are not, we are going to use it in a different way. We're gonna do it by ourselves. Let us choose the pictures. We have now, six pictures here. Now the pictures that I have here, I took them also 16 by nine, but they're fitting perfectly here. But I want to show you also how to crop them now to give them some animation. So in case your picture is bigger, you're going to understand how to do it. The first thing to do, we're going to click and remember we have to select the picture because if we would play now you'll see that there's no animation. Pictures are just there. There's no even transitions or anything. So what we're going to do, let's select the picture. And we're going to go here in the icon in the middle, that it's the pan and zoom icon. Now it's just a start position and end position. So let's make the start position how it is. Let's leave it like that. We go to the end position. Well, we're going to do is we go to the picture and we're going to open it and move it like in the middle. There you go, like this. And now we're going to click check. Now we go to the beginning and you'll see what we just did. We give an animation to the picture and not just an animation, we're telling it kinda master to starting one position and finish in another position. It's not just assume, because assume we'll maybe go and cut the picture in a place that you don't want. So this is what we do with every single picture. So I'm gonna give you a second example. We go to the second picture. Again, we go here in the middle start position. Let's make it exactly the same, like how it is. And in this second position that it will be the end position we will make again the soon. Okay, but we're going to choose to sue and we want a picture maybe to move a little bit here. Let's see how it works. Check, and let's see how it works. Nice, right? So this is pretty cool. This is how you make your collage of pictures in a video. Something I want to show you now also beside the pictures is that when you go in the picture and you select that you also have the adjustments, okay, that you can adjust the colors as you can see. Now you go to color filter and you can also add these receipts of color correction that is already there. Now you have this clip graphics. There you go. And clip graphics actually gonna make like an animation in the clip. I don't know. It's, it's, some people like it. I'm going to show you, for example, one, let's do trouble and activity lists. Choose trouble, trouble accent. Let's see. You see there is a plane going through it. These are the animations. They clip graphics that draw what probably is doing. Let's go to powerful, let's change these and put on stage. It's starting to rain stars. So these are things that you can do with your videos. You can play around with this clip graphics. They are funny. Actually, I don't want that one and he's going to be there. So I'm gonna put non, There you go. So play with it. Vignette. Yet there's going to be like it's going to give some dark spots in the corners. You see it's dark spots in the corner so you can focus with the male thing, but I like it like this. So this is basically how to create an BTO with pictures. Now what I will suggest you, let's check here is to add some newsy. Can all of these things, you know what, before we go, I'm going to I'm going to do something something that I already did the other in the other entity. So we're going to go here, we're going to go to settings and Berio. And remember that I told you there's a fading and there is a fade out. Remember, There you go. Check. And now let's watch the video again. It better is starting with the fading. And let's go to the end, how it finishes. It finished with a fade out. That's pretty cool. Something also, I forgot to add some transitions. I think the video, it's easy like that is nice, but let's add some transitions for fun. You know, before we go, let's add some transitions. Let's do the acceleration transitions. What do you think? Let's put the song really cool. I like it. Let's see how it looks. That's nice. Let's actually go and let's add the other transition in the end. So we don't over, over transition. We don't add too many transitions or gay, Let's change another one. Let's do speed drop. Lets see how it looks. This one. Wow, that's really cool. Okay, let's finish like this. Let's see the end. Really Kula. Okay, so to export it, we do exactly the same. We click here and we explored it. We are going to choose this time, okay, 1080, and let's export it. And we can share it, we can play it, we can do whatever we want with this. This is it for this lesson. And now let's go to the next one.
