Very good to this creep showing its age right center. After we create the channel, I will help you to upload your first video and the animal explain you about the YouTube platform. Also, I will give you some suggestions and tips to be successful in YouTube and also some information about what you need and how to get monetized. Don't work the end of the course. We'll talk about what is the meaning off CEO and also the famous YouTube algorithm. And I will tell you how to use them for your channels benefit. Are you ready to become a youtuber? Let's start 2. Why YouTube: Let me explain you why you tooth is the best platform to be part off nowadays and how to use it in your a bandage first. YouTube is the second biggest search engine in the world being Google the 1st 1 But you know what? Google hounds you tooth. So every time you search something in Google, there is a big chance you're going to see some YouTube videos there. Okay. For example, Google search. We're going to look for Rome, Italy. It was there. It was there. Okay, this is actually S e o. I'm gonna show you that later. In the course we click Enter. You can see here. Rome, Wikipedia, Wikipedia, some pictures. You see here some webpages. Top stories on if you go here. Look at this. Bee videos. These are all YOUTUBE videos. For example, if you click one, it's opening YouTube. What you want to do is to be here, and I'll show you how to do it in the next lesson. Second, everything you posting YouTube is going to be there 24 7 365 days off the year. So it means even when you're sleeping, YouTube is is still exposing your content. Third, two billion locked in Monley users. Just imagine that number and I'm saying, looked in. So imagine the people that are watching YouTube and they're not locked in. It's crazy. It's a lot of people. I think now you understand why YouTube is so important and so loved by video creators, actually is the number one platform for video creators. 3. Finding Your Niche: what is Inish? The niches, the category or topic off your channel. So basically find your niche is to decide what your channel is going to be about. You can have more than one niche in your channel, but try always to direct it to the same audience. For sure you hurt the warden niche so many times. And maybe you heard old so that the knee she is the most important part of your channel. But I don't think like that. I mean is important. But not as much as you think. The most important thing off your channel is yourself. Is that uniqueness that you're gonna give to your channel? Don't look for a niche to make money, look for something you love to do and then everything is gonna come. Not really. People love that. There's nobody like you. There's nobody like me. Everybody is different and that is called uniqueness. 4. Suggestions Before Starting: as I mentioned before. YouTube belongs to Google. So to create a YouTube channel or YouTube account, you're going to need a Google account or a Gmail account. Maybe some of you have already a Gmail account. But my suggestion is to create a Gmail account for your YouTube channel. So, like these, you're going to have a personal accounting one side and account for you to channel in the older. If at some point you want to monetize your channel, then you're gonna make money out of your channel. So then you're gonna become a business, and it's better to have an account for your business and personal account in the other side . Now let's start to create your Gmail account. 5. Creating a Gmail Account: Okay, let's create your Gmail account. We ate account for myself. You have these other option to manage my business. We're going to do an account first in the name, his name and last name. So we're gonna put the name of the the name of the channel. So it's exactly what I wanted to appear when we look for it. Name. That's gonna be how your email is going to be less try my cooking journal. So it's going to be my cooking journal at gmail dot com astride a password. Let's try the boss work. There you go. Click next hoops. You can see my cooking urinal is here. You have some options here below, but I don't get video lock. We're going to be making videos in YouTube, so let's see if it works and he worked, and then the phone number is optional now, but it's good. If you want to recover your account, we're gonna put the recovery email we're going to put or whatever happens, they're going to send you information to these emails so you could recover it then. Your birthday. Keep annoying that. So you lie second. Remember, you can send me presents 6. Creating a YouTube Account: let's create our YouTube account. We have already the email account. So let's go to YouTube. And you see, you said nobody YouTube. Let's go to signing. Okay. As you can see, we have to sign in and then use another account is a new account. So my accounts I have Okay, No. And we're gonna put our new email, my cooking journal, block at gmail dot com the password. And it has to be the same as your email. Um, wanna? That's our new YouTube account. As you can see, this is a new account. Now it's time to make it pretty. 7. Creating Your Channel: way have the account, but not the channel. So let's create a channel. Go there I can and then settings in account. You have the option to created channel cricket. Remember that we're using my cooking giorno, then create Ciano and done. As you can see, it doesn't look like a channel. If you clicking customize channel, you can see that they're still thinks missing. We'll fix that, Don't worry. But now let's do the attacks. 8. Channel TAGS: the attacks of the channel. That means the key wars are going to help our channel to be discovered easily. We go to our Aiken and then Creator studio. Now this is going to be the dashboard off your China. You haven't index hear some news and some analytics we go to settings were actually going to use the dollar currency. But you can use the currency that you want. Let's caking Chano Keyw ords he sees. Well, we're going to do if this is a food channel, for example, we said that we're going to cool can make some recipes. So let's think about some cured. We can actually help ourselves going to the search section in YouTube, for example. Cookie, we can see all the options that YouTube is giving us. For example, Cooking Cooking by the book could be also cooking videos. Let's see how it works with cooking. Ciano. We're getting more options. Let's see with cuisine, more options. I'm actually writing everything down recipes, for example, mawr options. You can also put the dosh here, and it also helps. That's it. Well, I guess you got the point. Let's type everything down. You can always come back if you me something. And now we have the keywords done 9. Some Extra Settings: waken goto advanced settings. This is important. This is a cooking channel, so it's not made for Children. Be careful with this because it's not about who can watch the channel. This is not a rate. This is if your channel is made for kids or not. So it's not in this part. Link account is to linger channel to Google Arts, basically to promote and also to monetize. We'll do that later, and here's to allow you to have to display the people. Subscribe to your channel. But this is up to you. Let's click here in a bass chansons We're going to choose our country. And like I said, I'm in Peru. So there it is, Channel keywords. We already did thes. We'll leave it like it is so that we can make some money. When we are monetized, we leave. This will link or China later. Now this is important. You want your channel to be another channel recommendations. This gives you exposure and views This we already did. So that's it safe when we're done with this part 10. Channel Brand: Now let's click on branding. You don't have to do it at this moment, but if you have already a local, especially if it's a PNG extension, then you can put it here and he's going to appear in all your videos. This is the measurement, as you can see and one megabyte or less, and here it says B N G or GIF. But PNG is better because of the transparent background. I do have a local, so I'm gonna choose the image, and I would like it to be the entire video, then safe, and we're done. 11. Extra Information: let's do some extra information first to default features. And these are the features that you already have enabled video uploads, playlists and so pay attention here because you're China is active as long as you don't have any community guidelines strikes with three strikes, they can cancel your child. You can get strikes if you don't follow the rules like, for example, using copyright music or the content that is not yours. Now here there are some features that needs a phone verification before they are enabled. So let's verify the phone. Put the country that you are in this case, I want a text message. So let's put the phone. So meet. Let's wait for the message. Let's put the coat that we received and it's done. And now you can see all these extra features that you do have enabled for you. There are certain things that are going to be enabled in the future. If you feed the requirements, for example, monetization. We're gonna talk about it later or Super chat. For instance, he says here that you need the 1000 subscribers for this Acosta mural, for example, so Doctor Channel is not gonna be a long, least of like numbers and letters. Instead, it's going to be like you to of that Combs Lodge, my cooking Jordan. As you can see here, you need to be 30 days old and 100 subscribers, and also you have to have a Bonner and an icon, but we're going to do that in the next lesson. 12. Let's Add Our Logo: now the local. If you don't have a logo, you can put a picture. My suggestion would be to use a picture where you appeared. People like to see people, makes it more personal. Let's go to the icon China, and this is where the logo or picture is going to be. If you click here, you would see that this is the picture that is also going to appear in your Google account . And if you upload the picture, don't worry if you don't see it because I think some minutes to refresh. Well, let's click an edit in that profile picture. They need to have some photos already your Google account. They will be here, but I don't have. So I will upload the photo, select a photo from your computer and choose the one you want just the size or crop it and then said the profile photo. Now we go to YouTube. You can see that these already here, we got it 13. The Banner or Channel Art: Banner Channel art. It's clicking at Channel Art to show you the measurements as you can see 25 60 by 14 40 Moxie Mint of six mega lights. Now it's open. Can Va that come? We're going to use these Web creator channel art. This page is incredible to create banners, logos and even Tom nails. Look, YouTube channel art is already here. If you don't see it, just type YouTube channel art in the search section and you will get it. Lex Cricket and you already have the measurements. These measurements are for the channel art visible on a TV. A tablet, for example, would be different and also the smartphones, but they all feed in this measurement. Let's go to the index and clicking uploads. I already uploaded a picture with the measurements. Explain you better. Let's expand a little bit. As you can see, there is a safe area means that all the devices this part would be visible for a tablet around here, and the TV is basically everything is to an example, using another image that I upload it already. We put it here, go to test it's type, something we go to the phone size. Then we choose a background and done. You can download it this gay PG and download. Now that was an example. But now we're gonna use a picture that I found because I think I like it. I like it better. I just make it feet and download. I think we go back to you too. And select photo from computer and Don. This is how you will see it. If you don't like the position, you can also adjust on crop. Select and done. We now have a channel art. Our channel is starting to look beautiful, isn't it? 14. The About Section: Okay. Now where Channel is is starting to be properly down. Now, here in videos and playlists, we will do them later because we need to upload at least the video first. Here in discussion now called Community, he would post comments and ideas for your followers to common and basically start a discussion. But now we will do the about section here you have the channel description. You can also put your email for people to contact you and also your social media links. And even your webpage is do the channel description. I have already the idea, so I will type it down. This will be the presentation that you're gonna have for your audience. So tell something about yourself and what you're channel is going to be about. Remember that this is going to be visible for everybody. Let's put an email for business inquires and for people to contact us, you can always come back and do it later if you want. Here is the country you are, and I'm in Peru now. The links approaches three for now because these are the ones that will appear in your channel. Art. You will understand when we finish. Let's put our Facebook Instagram and Twitter. Of course, if we have it, I would suggest you to have at least one to be more exposed. And there you go. Look, how nice is Air China now? 15. Uploading Your First Video: okay, We know that our channel is becoming very, very nice. We're here now in Google chrome because this is, like from zero. You are just turning on your computer. You're going to Google Chrome. Or maybe I don't know. You are using Explorer. Whatever the the software you're using, let's go here and Taieb you to that home. And then because you are loading you just created your channel. You can see that it's here. Michael Caine Journal. Okay, so they're way off. Uploading your video is like these you see here in the top right corner, You have a camera with the blast sign. Gonna press this one, and you're gonna have two options. Go life and the other option is uploaded a new video. So let's creaking upload the new BDO. There you go. This is what is going to open. Okay, upload videos. Here. You have two ways of uploading the video. Select files. Of course. You press here and it's gonna open a folder where you're gonna choose your video. The other option is to drop your video here, so I'm just gonna drop the video here to start uploading. And now you can see all of this information that we have to put it on the video. Remember, the video is already of loading, so don't worry. While it's uploading, we can save time doing all of this information. Okay, We're gonna do it step by step. Let's start with the title. The title has to be catchy. It has to be using keywords to be searchable. And I always put the name of the channel to be even more searchable. Let's go here to YouTube to another Windows. I'm gonna exactly explain you this because I'm uploading recipe off chicken a chicken recipe. So I put chicken recipe and you have all of these chicken recipe Pakistani with, I don't know, tight recipes, chicken afterthought and all of these styles and all of these ideas. If you pulled chicken recipe and space, it gives you even more tasty. Gordon Ramsay, BDO Chicken Recipe video All of this. So based in these, I'm getting an idea to make it even catchier and people are gonna clickable. That's the work applicable. Let's go back here and I'm gonna put Kate the best chicken recipe ever. Chicken and recipe A monopoly with capital letters because you know when you play with the capital letters, it looks more appealing. Looks nicer, isn't it? There you go. And now what I like to do always is to this. It's like a dye short like a line. And put the name of the chant the name of my child that is going to make it even more searchable. Even Mauritz looks very nice. It's catchy. Searchable is very nice, so I think I'm happy with this. Now we are done with the title and let's go to the description, So let's go to the next lesson. 16. Video Description And TAGS: Okay, now we're here. That description. What is happening with the description? We have to use keywords. I'm gonna show you another example. For example, let's let's do this here. I just put chicken recipe and look all the videos that appear. Why? These videos are on the top. Why these videos? All of these Someone explain it later. Okay? But what I wanted to show you is this. Look at the 1st 2 lines here. This is the only thing you can see. But when you click in the video and you go down, you can see that Actually, the description is longer than two lines Japanese all the time. The 1st 2 lines are the ones that are going to be visible in TV or if you are using a cell phone, a tablet Whatever Butor laptop, it's always the 1st 2 lines are visible before you click the video. So remember that and the 1st 2 lines here have to be clear, catchy and like making the people intercepting. Oh, you know what I want to click it. So we're going to try to think about a very nice narrative for the 1st 2 likes. Okay, enter This is basically what is going to appear in the 1st 2 lines I'm putting. This is the best chicken recipe ever. This is a key word. This is very important because it's also here. And if you can see here the name off the video, it's also the best chicken recipe ever. This is called metadata, so whatever the video is, whatever the name is, change it and put your YouTube title. Gay put the same because he's going toe help. Believe it or not, the algorithm of YouTube is gonna understand it, and he's gonna help for the video to be searchable title is perfect, and here we're putting again Best chicken recipe ever. Every time I cook it at home, Cook is a key word because it's a recipe. Actually, we can make it even better every time I cook. Every time I cook these recipe at home, everybody loves me. So can you see it? It's recipe. It's Cook is best chicken recipe ever. We have three key words here, and then I'm asking everybody try it and let me know. How was it in the comments below? I'm asking them to leave me comments to like the video, you know, And what I'm going to do is I'm gonna put some more information here. This is the most important part of the description. Now we have I have another YouTube China. This is the next information that I wanted to out you have here. Don't forget to subscribe and give us a Like why? Because you have to. You have to ask the people to subscribe. You have to ask the people to like your bill. You If if they like it, you have to ask them for comments again. I'm repeating here. Let me know in the comments below You have to ask them You're going to see that a lot of YouTubers are actually asking for people to subscribe, like and comment in the meat in the video. So it's very important to ask them. Sometimes people need that just a little push to ask them for that and you're going to get results on putting Follow us also in our social media because it's important if you have a Facebook instagram, even tweeter I have a twitter, but I have to create actually a twitter for these I'm gonna added later so you can see that the description is done. This is what I want in the description. Just remember, that is very important that the 1st 2 lines here have tohave keywords, catchy words. The words of represent your video, maybe repeating the title and all of this. Okay, this is what they see when they click in the in the search YouTube, they see the 1st 2 lines. Okay, We're going to go a little back. You have Tom nails. These are ideas that YouTube is gonna give you, but you never use them. I never use them. I always create my own Tom nail. Okay, this is going to be Ah, in a couple of lessons. I'm gonna help you And how to make a terminal. How to create a nice time. Nail on. We're gonna add it. So for now, we're gonna leave it like that playlist. This is important. Now we have just one video. We're adding just one video, so it's not necessary. But then when you have more videos, playlist is very important. You can create a playlist, create Bayliss here because it makes your channel more organized. More clickable. More is better to see No, it's nicer to see, So playlist are very important audience. We know that is not made for kids. It's a recipe chicken recipe and that's it. There's no H extraction and more options to spay promotion talks of titles and more. Yes, we want it. So we're going to go next at end screen. This is a soon as the video is finishing, processing at cards. It says it's finished, so we're going to do it later. We're just showing you the next the next buttons. OK, these parties also important, safe or publish? Okay. You wanted to be private. It doesn't mean you don't want to publish it. You're going to publish it. But you wanted to be private until you finish all the details and you are 100% short that the video is correct. There you go. Boom. Abolition put it public. But for now is in private. You have the option in schedule to create a date, and this is very good for consistency. I'm gonna talk about it in future lesson in the scores. What is consistency? YouTube. But for consistency, you have to post constant. And if you wanna post for example, three videos. You have three videos already. Don't get too excited. Posted once a week once every two days. Take your time. So this is schedule is perfect for that. You can upload 345 10 videos and schedule them to be posting by themselves in certain time certain day, and then you can just sit down and chill. This is very helpful. And there you go. We safe And that's it. This is the video. As you can see, I have more videos already that I uploaded. But way are supposed to. This is a new channel, so don't look at them. Okay? This is the video we did. Now we're gonna work with it. We're going here when the videos already upload it. You have. This is the dashboard. You're going to see them here, and you're gonna click here in details. You cease like a pencil. There you go. We did already the title. So it helps that when you are uploading the video and it's processing you, you can already put these things because it really helps. Okay, we have a description done. Also, remember that we put it in private. Don't worry if it says as the or HD because every time you upload the video, you're going to see it as the or HD. And then within minutes it start to become four K or whatever. The video that you did is okay. Now in the thumbnail, we're going to do it. If you in a couple of lessons, more audience, we need it. And this is what we're gonna do now. The tax. We know already what stocks means. Okay, they are the key words like we need it for the name off the channel and the tax where the China we're going to do exactly there. Same here. So you know the drill. We go to another YouTube. We put chicken first. Let's see what happened with chicken, chicken recipe, chicken noodle soup, chicken, all of these sticks. My recipe is not a soup, but it's the best recipe, Remember? But it's not a soup. So this is out. But I'm going to put chicken recipe Chicken little. That's funny. Then let's see. Okay, I'm starting to have an idea. Remember that I'm writing them down. OK, so now let's put chicken recipe for dinner. Here's for Cory. Food pushing. Okay, you know that real. You know the idea because we did it before. And let's start to type all the talks that we found Okay, For the purpose of these, it's understandable. What is the point? Right? I would suggest you to go also in Google most of time. Google helps. We're going to put cheek and recipe. You said chicken recipes. Easy. She can recipes for kids, Instant part over chicken recipe. I didn't put that. For example, I put chicken recipe, but I didn't put chicken recipes or chicken recipes. Easy. So you got the point. Now, this is something that I always do in the talks. And I showed you also when we were creating the channel. I like to put the name of the China. So just in case somebody's gonna look just for my cooking journal undone. My suggestion is to do as many as you can. You can see here that you have up to 500 characters. I just have 191. I can do more, but the idea is to teach you how to do it. So you got the point already because we needed before for the channel. So I'm gonna leave it like that off course again, again and again. And this is very important. Do us meaning as you can. Research in U two of researching Google for a lot of options because this is very important . Okay, this is how the people are going to find you. Now we're going to save, and then let's go to the next lesson. So going to do end screens and cards? 17. End Screen And Cards: Now I'm gonna show you how to do the end screens and cart. What is an and screen and what is a card? You're always going to see them here. I've never watched a video, and at the end of the video, there is least little options that are suggesting you toe subscribe to the channel or suggesting you to click in another video of the channels. Good. These are the end screens. Let's start with the end screens. Okay, There you go. This is our video. Let's go almost in the at the end. There you go. That's almost audience. Right? So we're going to do Let me see this one. You can see that here appears the logo. This means that towards the end of the video, when you see that the video is getting a little darker. So I just used that you're going to see that the logo is going to appear and if you get close to the logo, you can subscribe to the channel. That's pretty cool. And then you have best for viewer. What does it mean? That every time you post a video and you put best for viewer every time somebody comes here in this part of the video that is going to appear here is based in the algorithm investing in What is your proof? Understanding for the best video for this person that is watching your video is going to recommend it here, and it's always videos from your playlists. So this is good. Okay, imagine if you like trouble videos or cooking videos like this one, and you're watching the recipe of the chicken, and you two have knows that you, as a viewer, were watching already a lot of recipes off tuna. So then and you have also a video off a recipe with tuna. So YouTube is going to say, You know, I'm going to put here the video of tuna because I think this viewer is going to like it. So that's why it's always good if you put one of these best for viewer. Always, you have more options to put more of this like you can you can see in the beginning you can add elements here, for example, you cannot another BDO. There's another element here, and you cannot video you want. We don't want it. For now, I think we're going to stay with best for viewer. And these now you can move it. Also, my suggestion is a little bit here and my suggestion because this is for subscribers. I will make it. There you go. This is more in the middle, so it looks better. And that's it. These are the end cards. Then you can check here the preview. How is going to be so when you're watching here, the video is going to appear there at the end. Okay, so this is done. These are the cards just for you to know. If you're clicking one of them, you can change them here. More recent upload. So you can put in this in this video, for example, T the new upload that you have the lot the newest. In this case, you're uploading your first video so you don't have this. You can put best for viewer. You can put your specific video or you you can leave it. Actually, there's people that don't use this, but it's a very good tool to use. So use it. We're gonna save when we got it. And now we're going to do is to at cards what are carts do you remember? When you are watching a video and somebody say is recommending another BDO and there's a little link on the top of that appeared, I'm gonna show you exactly what it means, for example here. Okay. Okay. Imagine that here. You wanna put a card? You're talking about something very important that it's related toe. I don't know another video. And you cannot a card here on the top. Would you? Do here is at cart and you cannot beat your playlist, channel, whatever. Even at our webpage, you cannot link a webpage. But because we just started with the channel, you're not enable yet to do it. But as soon as you start to grow, this is gonna be enabled. And you can at your webpage by the video or playlist, for example, created your place. Let's choose one of these videos. Remember that if you don't have any other videos, it doesn't matter. You can do it in the second video in the next videos were doing but the's video, for example, more or less recommend this one. Create a cart. There you go. So when the video reaches this point, people are gonna be able to see these. This is going to appear and he's gonna open. I'm gonna show you how it's going to look, for example, is going like this. And when it reaches that point, it opens. You see? Suggest that Mexican fish recipe. Michael Conjoined. Okay, on this is gonna be there for a few seconds and then it's gonna close. But it's going to stay there in the transplant. You cannot see it, but is there So whoever goes and go close to here and click, it's and click, it is going to appear another window with this and this is also very useful. Let's add it, also very useful. So you are it already and that's it. You We can come back to the YouTube studio and now you have a card and then you have an end screen also. So this is basically to tools that I will always suggest you to use. Maybe in your first video is not necessary. Unless you have another channel, you can use the end screens and recommend the other channel and lead them to go there and click it. You can use the Ends Creek with the secretion bottom because It's always suggesting people to subscribe, and this is good because you need people so you can get more views and so on, so on. 18. Thumbnails: OK, now it's time to create our thumbnail. Okay, I went back to you to that calm. So Weaken. Check it out. How to get there from zero. OK, remember, this is the your YouTube channel. You go here in the top, you go to YouTube studio and then you're gonna come here to be Dios. Those are the videos you have. As I said, we're creating the channel. But I just put already some videos here, so don't pay attention in these. Let's imagine that this is our first video. But you can see that it's not good. I don't like it. There is not catchy. Look at these ones. They are very catchy. This is not catchy. So what you do remember we're still in private. That's the best thing to do. Private. You are very sure that you wanna post it. You wanna make it public? Okay, let's go here to details. Looks like a pencil. We have already everything done, as you can see. But look at this. No time, nail. Now Utah is going toe. Suggest you a couple of comments where three are here. This is the suggestion off images that they took from your video, okay? I never use them. I think once in my life I saw one that was like, Oh, that's pretty cool. And I actually did a thumbnail. Very similar, but okay, normally, I don't use them. You do your own Tom nails, OK? You upload your time, nail, you click here and then it ask you to choose the photo. What we're going to do is to make atomic. They're different programs, different Softwares, different ways to do Tom nails you can use for a shop you can use picks, a lab. You can use so many things to do, Tom Nails. But today I'm gonna show you something. They're easy because we're really used this webpage that is camber that come, it's free. So that's why show all the time, this webpage. So we go to combat that come, okay. Thing is the webpage. We already saw it. Remember to create our YouTube channel art. We use that now. We're going to use it to create a Tom. They look at these. They have already the measurements and everything. This is a free website. I mean, there is a pre immune package you paper, mourn the subscription or something like that. And you're going to get more things but you for for what we're doing. You don't meet that. Okay, so let's go here to YouTube. Tom Nail. There you go. And you can see you already have a lot of templates here that they suggest you and they are pretty cool on. They look very nice, but we're going to do something from us. Our pictures are things. Okay, We're going to go toe uploads because you can upload your own picture here. I have a new image that I want to upload here to use it for for these purpose. There you go. It's uploaded. And this is the best chicken ever. This is my recipe. Okay, lets go like this. Let's try to expand it. The picture was not taken for you to come in and you can see There you go. And then you can move it however you want. I think I like it a lot like this. It looks delicious, isn't it? Now we can put text here. Okay, I can put best chicken recipe ever in the picture, But remember that we have in the title of the video the best chicken recipe ever. So when people see the picture, they're gonna like it. And they're gonna go immediately here down and are going to check the title. This is subconsciously, this is something that you do every time you going YouTube and you see a picture that you like. Your eyes go directly to the title to see what is this about? And then if the title is also catching, you go directly to the description that that's that important is the thumbnail is the first thing you see. So he's is very important. So even though in the title it already said the best she can recipe ever I don't care. I'm gonna put it also here because I think it is very catchy. So we go to text here we have the friend different kinds of text. Look at this. This is all what can vies. Giving you is pretty cool, isn't it? Let's just this one. And then we will change the phones and so on. Let's see. Best chicken recipe. We don't want to use this black color because it's not visible at all. I would like to use white. I think it's going to be nice. Let's see. Much better now, before we choose this size off the phone, we have to choose the phone. I actually like this one. The 1st 1 Give me. I like it, But let's try some other so you can see the difference. Look at this. You have play for display. You have a lot. A lot. A lot. This one is certain is nice also. Okay, let's use this one. Okay, let's go to size. Make it 80. Or you can also change the size here. So I think there is nice. We can even make it a little bit bigger. Remember that when you move it every time these like pink line appears. It means it's centered. Okay. You see these lines? Yeah, it means that's the center. That's the middle. So we wanted there. And there you go. It's simple. You can make a very complex Tom nail, but this is very simple. And I like it immediately because you know how to use this Already we go to download know PNG. We wanted the G PG, and then that's it. We just downloaded. There you go. Now we go back to you to weigh Goto upload town nail and we do it way already have it. So we do it. No safe. And there you go. We already have our time Nail. Now if we are 100% sure that everything is OK, we can do this private and we change it now it's public because we're done, we finish everything and now we're bloat Our video done. You save the changes. And then if you go here to you two and you go to your channel, the video is already uploaded Perfect. 19. Upload Defaults: okay, Before we go to the next section, I want to show you something. We already have a our video boast if OK, so what? We're gonna do everything we know already. Everything about attacks, about the keywords entitled description, everything. We're gonna go to Youtu studio when I show you something very interesting is going to save you a lot off time. OK, we go to settings. Do you remember that We already did this part, the beginning, creating a channel. And we went to channel and we did all of these advanced settings branding all of this, But we had peace ones here that we didn't do. So let's go toe upload forced go. These defaults are I already put it here because I want to show you how it works. What? When you are uploading a video, there's there's gonna be some things that you're gonna use all the time. Remember I told you I love to put the name of my channel always in the title of the video. So I'm typing it here. I'm leaving it there and I'm gonna save it. That means that every time I upload a video, this is already going to be there. I just need to focus in the title and that's it. This is already going to be there. For example, every time you come here on the bottom, you're gonna see I have another YouTube channel, my travel during a block and whatever. I want everybody to know that I have another jet of channel. Then the you do channel the address. Then, for example, my social media. I'm always going to say that I would say, for example, also until next week because like, these people are going to read this and old he's posting every week, You know what I mean. This is this is very important now. Visibility always private. Why? I'm putting always private because remember, every time you upload a video, you want to be very sure that every detail is done before you make it public. What I'm trying to tell you is you want to know that the Tom name is nice. The description is properly done. Title everything before you make it public. So that's why every time you are below that is going to be private. Now we go to tax, for example. I didn't put anything there but I'm going to put something. We're having a cooking channel. So there's gonna be some things that I want to put in every single BDO stocks, for example. Okay, I'm putting just this piece an example for you to understand what I mean. All of this is always going to appear. Now if I'm doing, for example, the chicken recipe. I put chicken recipe, Best chicken recipe ever, and whatever I want to put, I just add them. But these ones are already going to be there. This is going to save a lot off time when I am going to post videos because it's, ah, a default. It's already there. Okay, so these is what I wanted to show you. Before I put safe, we're gonna go to advanced settings. We're going to put how toe on style, for example, this is the category. Okay. Off the channel. Why every single BDO that I'm going toe a blow This about cooking, okay? Traveling, cooking and teaching how to do it. So this is for every single video. Okay. I don't want any certification Inc optioning because it says here this content has never heard on TV or anything No, I'm the owner. I'm making the video, so just don't Don't know. Don't waste your time here. The standard beautif license. This is what you want. Community contributions. I'm putting off because I don't want people to do anything with my videos on my channel. I'm the one who is going to do it, so I'm gonna leave it like that. English language of the videos is going to be English. Okay. Community contributions. We said that already Common visibility. This is, uh, already by default here as hold potentially inappropriate comments for review. I always leave it like that. It's why the folder, You know what they're doing. These users can be ratings for your these video. I like the people that goes to my video and see, You know what this video has? 2000 likes this video has I like them to know? So I'm gonna leave it like that. And this is it. Now. We were bloat. Our first video with it. Everything we have to do to have it properly done. Now we need this city's piece is going to save you a lot of time. You have already defaults on. That's great. Okay, now we can go to the next section 20. YouTube Shorts: Let's talk about shorts. There are so popular nowadays and so helpful for you to make your channel grow faster. Their shorts, I saw from very small channels with thousands of views, just like this. But there are tricky because he's always up to you to have and I'm gonna explain what I mean to post a short. There are two rules that you have to follow. Video has to be filled vertically, like a story, and it has to be a maximum of one minute. Now sometimes YouTube at two seconds. So to be a 100 percent sure, I will make them like 5258 seconds. You can also feel your videos in a square size, but I prefer to use and take advantage of the whole screen. So vertical, completely vertical is the best option to go. Now these are the only rules, but I saw that YouTube is saying that it helps a lot if you put hashtag shorts in the title of your video. And then if you want, because I do that also, I put hashtag shorts also in the description of my video. Now after you post the video following all the rules, you'd move can post it as a short immediately, or it can take days. I had one that took like a couple of weeks to be posed as a short. So that's what I said, that it's all up to YouTube. By the way, shorts are only going to be visible in smartphones. The average retention in shorts is 20 seconds, so you have to think about it. The first 20 seconds are crucial. Tried to make your short like a small story, I know is just 60 seconds, but try your best. Even though you can use shorts as previous for your videos, better think of a short as a trailer of a movie. Also, I want to tell you that you have to make your short related to your niche. You could make a short with a cute dog and get thousands of views. But the point is to bring traffic to your channel. I mean, unless your channel is about cute dogs. So let's go to the editing software to see how I'm going to do a short and then I'll publish it. Okay, here we have the short I already edited. I put nice music and everything is 38 seconds point. Well, actually almost 39 seconds. Remember it has to be less than a minute, but I always do it maximum of 50 seconds. So now I'm going to show you something if we come here where you see that it says sequence two, we go to details. So this video is for K resolution when it's worker resolution is normally 3840 by 2160. In this case it's as simple. Do it the opposite. 2160 by 3840. That's the vertical way. Okay, I wanted to show you this. Another thing I wanted to show you before we export this video to post it is that here I added these. You can see here subscribe with the bail and everything. If you can see, I put it a little bit higher. Normally you put it here under, but I put it a little bit higher. Why? Because in the short, YouTube already put here something like the name of your channel and these and subscribe. Okay, so we actually don't need this because already YouTube is going to give you that, but I wanted to show you that. Whatever you want to put, tried to put it a little bit higher, because here is going to be the YouTube information that they're giving about your channel. Okay, now let's go to export the file. Now most of the times when you want to export a file, you come here to custom and you choose whatever the quantity you are going to choose. Like normally I go all the way down and then here down I can see the YouTube 2160 for k. But in this case this is going to be the vertical way and I don't want that, so I'm just going to leave it here. If you come here, you're going to see that already by itself, the sources much so It's 2160 by 3840. I'd like to do the render at maximum depth also here. So that's it. That's it. That's all I wanted to tell you. So let's export the file. You. Okay, We are in our YouTube studio, here in our channel. So what we're going to do here before we start uploading, it's coming here. If you see here in customisation and you're going to see here on the bottom feature sections, okay, we're going to add a section. And this section is going to be called short videos. You see it's already done here. It's a bit short videos because these are, this is where all the sources that we put are going to go there. You just click here and it's created. Okay, now we publish this section and it's done. Now we're going to come here to create, like I showed you before, how to upload a video. Come to create, upload videos, and you know how to upload the videos. There you go. It's already uploading. So what do you want to put here in the video? Let's put any title. Introduction to my channel. Okay, now, as I told you, I like to put here the hashtag. So I'm going to put hashtag shorts, okay, then this is already a class is already telling you this is a short, okay, Besides is less than one minute, and besides this, there is a vertical video. Now we come here. So in the description I will add this and I will add also here the hashtag shorts. It's the Brooks, I get something random, but you know what? I prefer to be a 100 percent sure that everything is okay. Now we're going to wait until their video is uploaded and I'll show you why we're going to do okay, It's already uploaded. As you can see, it was very fast because the shorts are so small that it was fast. Now here they give you the option for a thumbnail. Not necessarily. You need to put a thumbnail because when you see the shorts, there's no thumbnails there. But just in case if your shorts gonna take few days to be posted as a short, I will suggest you to do a thumbnail just like in your page is not going to look. But so I created this thumbnail and that's it then is exactly all the same that you can see here, how to do it. You put private, you publish it. In this case we're going to put publicly. And then we can go here. And in playlist, you can go, you can create a playlist that I will suggest you to do. Let's create a, create a playlist called shorts, just for us to be sure that all the shorts are going to be there. So we create a playlist and Don, and that's it. You could save. Your short is already published. Okay, We go here to customization. We can go down and we can check actually that the video you just published immediately by itself, by default went to shorts because it's vertical because it's less than 60 seconds. So it immediately here. So it means you've already checked that this is a short. Now, let's cross our fingers and way that YouTube is going to post it immediately so that we can start generating views because this is crazy. This video as a short, can have thousands of views. And even if your channel is small, it can bring traffic to your channel and you can grow fast. 21. The Dashboard: and okay, guys, we're gonna go to YouTube and then let's click here in her icon and let's go to you Tube studio. We're going to see the dashboard. This is gonna be the dashboard. I added some extra videos, so it's going to be more visible and more understandable in the dashboard. We're gonna have the latest video, Indies, the top, the latest video we posted. And you see the title, the ranking by abuse, all the very interesting and important information here. Now, want to get the most out of studio thes part here? If you click it and get started, you're gonna have options like BDO slid. See, for example, here you have a video and some videos here to teach you how to use the YouTube studio. Now, if we go a little bit down, we're going to see what's new, and this is very interesting. You tube trends. This is creator insider, and they have also YouTube channel and is very interesting because they keep you updated. The new things that are happening within YouTube. Okay, so I suggest if you are already a creator to go here and start to check, this is very interesting. He's like a magazine for the Creator. I really like it. Now we have here the Channel Analytics. We're gonna talk about analytics in the next lesson, but well, still we have here in the dashboard some information. You can see the abuse and the watch time. This is within the last 28 days. You can actually change these and go toe within a week within 48 hours, and within a year, off course. We just created a channel. So we just have a few days, so don't expect too much here, but this is going to keep growing and growing. The current subscribers is 24. Later in this course, I'm gonna explain you how I got 24 subscribers. He said in the last 28 days. But it was in less time than that. I mean, I think he was in a week. Their fuel thinks you can do to get more and more subscribers, but we're gonna be talking about it a little by little during this course. Okay? And then you have here the top videos. These are the obedience that you have. These are within the 48 last 48 hours because I just posted this one. It's already having some views, but like I said that these ones are just posted within a week. If I'm not wrong beside the recent subscribers and that's it, that's basically the dashboard. In the next lesson, we're gonna talk about analytics and then later in the course, we're gonna talk about monetization also. But I want you to check a and understanding little bit mawr these dashboards. So I'm gonna go here below the dash where you have videos. Okay, we are bloated, this one. But I Like I said, I uploaded a couple more with a few more. And as you can see here, if you go here in the pencil, you're gonna change the details of the video. Everything I did remember I told you when we were uploading the video, you can come back all the time and you can fix it. So this is the way to do it. Okay, so in this part, you're gonna be able to see the restrictions. For example, non restriction. What is restrictions? Ive you have, for example, a song that it's ah, copyrighted. So then here is going to be a restriction. There is a song that is copyrighted. You cannot put it. You have to change it or you cannot monetize your video or whatever. So it's going to appear here. The dates, the abuse, for example, the comments that you have and the likes and dislikes. You have to always keep a ni in all these details, because this is going to help you to be a better YouTube For a better creator, you have here the playlists off course. I didn't do any playlists, so it's empty. But if you do, they're going appear here. Now. What is the playlist? Someone explain you these, for example, I have here a Peruvian D she just a feature. Then they have a Mexican dish that I have Aquino solid, that it's we'll run them. You can do it anywhere. You have another proving these. You have a job on these this year so I can create, for example, a playlist with proving recipes playlist with Mexican recipes. These are the playlist to put more your your product. Your videos organized okay and is very, very recommended to do it now. Analytics. Like I said, we're going to see it later and in comments then in comments, you're going to see all the comments that you have a lot of comments that we have now in the community says I haven't responded. You can filter it for whatever you want contained questions. Public subscribers, China Member status. I'll suggest you toe always always answer your comments. And if it's possible, answer with another question so they can answer you back. You'll understand why? Because we're gonna talk about interaction with with your audience later in this course. Okay. Subtitles in here you will be able tow out Subtitles that the description and subtitles you see, So if you click in the BDO, you will be able to do it. I don't want to because they're in English, and that's the language I want. But if I'm going to do, for example, a challenge in Spanish because I speak Spanish and I want people in America to see it, then I can put the subtitles in English also. So it's useful sometimes have the drops here. That is the subtitles you were doing and so one. Okay, monetization. We're going to talk about it later in this course, so I'm gonna skip it for now. And this part is really good. All their library. I have few friends that were creating YouTube channels and they didn't know they had a Now the library here. And this is this is really, really, really important because this copyright can give you strikes and can damage your channel is you start to use music from other people, you know? So I would suggest you to use thesis ones to start, because then you can subscribe to pages that are very good that have music free of copyright. Of course, you pay for a subscription, Ramon, per year there. There's a lot of packages and everything, but if you're starting your channel, you don't want to do that. You don't want to spend money if you're not making it, so I'll suggest you to use thesis ones. They're pretty good quality music. Do you have, for example, here you can choose alternative punk? Ambien, Children, Sina, Marty, classical, all kinds of off music. Here you have the mood also like angry bride coming. This is very cool, Okay. And besides the music that you can choose here, you also have sound effects. As you can see here you have. Um, well, it says here the categories No, like tools, weapons and whether horror transportation is really cool. You have alarm clock. This is all sound effects that you can use also in your videos. So this is really, really interesting. And I use it a lot. This is basically what I wanted to show you here in the dashboard. The settings We already did them. You remember that we did this part of the beginning. So basically your understanding now YouTube studio and your understanding now how to check your audience. And if you check your analytics, if you check your dashboard and you see all the changes here and you start to understand them better and better, you make your channel better. Okay? So I always gonna suggest you to be here. And always keep an eye on this at least once a day of your posting constantly 22. Analytics: and we're going to talk about analytics. We are hearing the YouTube that comb and we already looked in. So let's just go to YouTube studio. Let's go back to you to studio. We talk about this part already Channel Analytics and mentioned that in the last class of very fast. But I said, if you go here to Channel Analytics, you're going to go into detail. You can go from here or you can go from here on athletics. So let's pick analytics. And now look at these. I love this page. I mean, this is the base you have to use to grow here to make your China grow. It has everything you need to make your channel grow. It says we have 261 views in the last 28 days, but basically the channel is younger than 28 days. I created this channel for these course for the purpose of these scores, and I didn't want to show you analytics off my older channels because I wanted to show you this China. We're creating this channel together. And within the classes, I was uploading new videos. I think I have five or So And I did it because I want people to watch a little bit so we can show how analytic worse and how the YouTube channel can grow. Okay, look at these. Within toward three weeks is 24 subscribers. I didn't promote much because he's our classes are coming during the course. Now you're China Got 261 views in 28 days and you can see the watch. Time is 5.2 hours and the subscribers last 12. Okay, that's supposed to grow every month. Eve, you make your goals. You have to make goals. I will say I want this channel to grow tenses, for example. Okay, we just started. I want to grow 15 subscribers every week. So if it's like these, I will have, like, 60 subscribers by the end off the month or during 30 days. That is a goal. And then you can come to analytics and you can be checking the subscribers. How are they growing? It's just 28 days, but you can come here in the top corner, click and you can go just to seven days. You see Now let's go back to 28 days because you already understand this part. Let's click here, Seymour. Now you have more information and actually disease more into detail. This is fascinating because you can make your channel grow so fast. If you understand how to use these analytics and he's very simple, I'm gonna show you. We just came here and it says BDO Okay, so it means this is information about your videos. If you check here down, you have all the videos that I posted. If you see here, every BDO has a different caller and then you can see it here so you can actually see how your videos are growing. If you put, for example here, it's going to appear decent screen where you can see how to make ceviche from Peru had Cyr abuse reviews because the video was not posted in the time. But then if you keep going here, it starts to grow. You see, it changes. So how during these 28 days, the videos were growing and growing and abuse and minutes Okay, we go to traffic source. Here is the same thing off the videos with the lines on the coolers. But now the colors are to external sores, Channel pages. So that means that the minority off the viewers it says 90 views are coming from external sources. So if you don't understand what is external source, Look at these. You just put your hand here and there you go. You have information everywhere in the analytic spinal. You have information you see always. What does it mean? What does it mean? So I'm gonna try to help you with this much as I can, But if I mean something, I'm happy to know the YouTube is also giving you the information here. Okay. So external means people are watching your video not because they were searching in YouTube . They're watching your video because they saw it in ready taurine. Instagram may be a link. Or maybe in Facebook. You posted in Facebook a link saying I watch my BDO, you know, and they click it and they went to you Tube. So that's external. And then, of course, you'd have such searches. People that went to YouTube and search for your video. The channel pages of your channel Haas Bages connected to the channel and they come from there that's also here and so on Okay, We're gonna go to geography now here because we don't have too many abuse. The channel is very new. We just have to countries here, Peru, on United States. It means that people from Peru did 40 views in United States. 15 views in total is 55 views. And then you say, Where are the rest is 261 views. The rest are countries around. But they're so little, maybe one view, and then the that is not enough for them to put all the countries here. So they just put the main ones. But as soon as you have more videos and more views, this is going to change completely. You're gonna have a lot of countries here. I have in my other channels. People from Nepal, Vietnam, Thailand is like, you see, the least here of countries is huge. Have to understand that you can use these in your benefit. For example, here in CS, Peru is the majority of the views. While I'm in Peru when I created the channel, he wants to help you understand these during this course. So I was telling friends to watch the videos and to subscribe also to check the videos and recipes. They're actually liking it so that I think they're gonna stick with me and the channels I'm goingto have now to post more videos here. But, well, let's go now to your age. These, for example. Like I was saying, There's not enough data for for for you to have to tell you exactly in detail. But this is one of the most important parts off the analytics, the viewer age because in my channel, for example, in my channel that I have my travel journal that it's a travel channel. The majority of the viewers are between 18 to 35 years old, and that's my objective audience. That means that I have to focus in them. I have to try to make my content focus that the majority of the people are between those those ages. So this is very important to know which is your your objective audience, so that you can grow your channel faster, the viewer gender. I don't think we have enough data for these either, So you're going to see here female male. Also, it's important there's two things that can happen here. You have more female watching your channel or more male watching your channel. And there's also two things you can do. Maybe you say, Okay, more mail than my content is gonna be focusing male. Or you can take the other option and said, You know what? I want the female to reach the male statistics, So I want more family to watch my channels. You start to do something for them, so try to understand the information and try to think What do you want to do with It is very important that you use all of these super important information to make your channel grow the subscription status you can see also from date, I don't know, may toe in the last 28 dates how the channel was growing in subscriptions. Also the source where their subscriptions coming from playlists. We didn't do playlist, but you have so much information. Let's go back to the main page. Now let's go a little bit here where you can see per bdo all the videos that we have. Like I said, this one is repeated with this one, so if you click in the video, you can do it individually. You can check all this information that we were checking now individually. So that's really cool. You have reached, for example, where you can see the impressions impressions click through rate. So it means if they put 141 times you're your thumbnail. 14.2% of people were clicking it. If you put over the number, the arrow, you're going for the hand. In this case, you're going to see information. What does it mean? Like I said by yourself, you can come here and start to search. You start to investigate, experiment, and you learn a lot about this. So again, my suggestion. Come here. Experiment. Investigate how fun and learn more about analytics, and how are you gonna use it to make your channel grow faster? 23. Meaning of Algorithm: And now what is an algorithm for sure? You heard the word algorithm so many times. For example, in Instagram, when they say, If you post every day, the algorithm of Instagram is going to rank you better or you to, for example, don't spawned because the algorithm of YouTube is understanding what you're doing. And they can bind you but thinks like that every platform is going to have their own algorithm. It's going to search the word algorithm in our friend the Internet. Okay, let's see what Google have to say. Let's look for algorithm, meaning the first thing that comes up here is a process or set off rules to be following calculations or other problem. Solving operations, especially by a computer, still is not two year. Let's go to Wikipedia, for example. We see here in mathematics and computer science that this is basically what we want. Computer science. What is an algorithm? OK, you can see that it's instructions as rules typically to solve a class off problem, so we see that basically everywhere there, saying that it's a set of rules to solve a problem. Now let's go more serious and let's look for the meaning off algorithm in the comforting, his addiction a set of mathematical instructions or rules. Again, the word rules, especially if given to a computer, will help to calculate an answer. Problem again, Rules to solve a problem. I'm gonna give you an example of exactly what is an algorithm. What is the meaning off the set of rules? OK, imagine if I want to put my hand up. My brain is gonna tell me to put my hand up. But if I would be a Robert controlled by computers, they need a lot of algorithms are gonna be there together to make me put my hand up the first rule. I have to put my hand 10 centimeters up there is a table. Then you have toe, pull your hand up and then push it a little bit forward. Another rule. If you push it forward, there's nothing in front that you can push it up and then push it up. So, as you can see as a robot controlled by computers, there is certain rules I have to follow so I can put my hand out. And this is an algorithm is a simple as that now Let's talk about the algorithm in YouTube or any other social media, actually, because they are basically the same idea, because the algorithms are made to make the platform better for the user. But to talk about the algorithm in Utah. If I'm gonna give you another example, imagine if we have 100 videos off chicken recipes. Well, actually, there are thousands. But let's make it 100 to understand his example, the first rule that the algorithm is going to Hafiz toe or they're all the 100 videos alphabetically. But what happens if one of the videos is having a lot of abuse, much more views on the olders? Then it comes another rule. The videos with more views have to be first. But what happened if one of the videos, even though it has less views on the order, is starting to have many in directions like likes, comments, people answering all their comments and so on? I know they're rule comes, the algorithm is gonna give priority to the videos that have more interaction. So then the other video, with a lot of use is going to start to run down. I will show you something so Let's go to you, bucking you to from going to give you an example. Let's look for Rome, Italy. There you go. This is the example I wanted to show you. We can see the first video here. 530,000 views in 10 moans 735,000 views in two years. So what I want to show you we're gonna check here for another video that has two years. There you go. These video here, for example, has two years. It's exactly the same as the second video that we saw in the second video, As you can see has just 735,000 views. And we're not just it's a lower abuse, but in two years, 735,000 views compared the 1.3 million views in two years. The question is why, If this one has 1.3 million in two years and the other has half off this in two years, the same time why the other one is second in the ranking? So this is the algorithm for sure. This one has a lot off key words that are very important. The title top 10 things to do in room. This is very simple, and it's a very good title, though you can see how things person is playing with the capital letters here. Everything is very interesting that Tom Daley is very nice. But the algorithm is gonna understand the title, the keywords and things like that. Maybe even the file name is very interesting for the for the algorithm, so it is very important. Another example. I want to show you about the algorithm. Let's go to the first video. There you go. So this is the first video that has 532,000 views. Now, if you can see here these videos, why are these videos here? These are called the suggested videos, Okay? And you want to be here all the time. He's gives you a lot of abuse. So what the algorithm is doing is taking these videos all the keywords that these videos have all the information that these videos have, and analyzing them and saying the person who click to watch this video could be interesting . Watch. This one's also is suggesting you to watch these videos and you want to be here so If you do proper research before you create your your description, your title, etcetera. If you do a proper research, you're going to be here and this is what you want. Now let's go back here and I'm going to show you another example of the algorithm. These one the 1st 1 the top one in the ranking 530,000 views. The 2nd 1 735,000 views. The 2nd 1 has more views on the 1st 1 But the 2nd 1 is older is two years ago with the other the new. The 1st 1 is 10 months ago. So actually, the algorithm is gonna give priority to this one. But still, algorithm is giving priority to this one over the 1.4 million video that is here. So there is a lot of rules that are in the game to make this better. Now that we understand the meaning of algorithm, let's go to talk a little bit about the other word that always come with it s e o 24. What is SEO: and s e o means search engine optimization. It sounds like a cool name and also a little difficult to understand, but it's actually very simple. The S E O. Is formed by a lot. Off algorithms are following certain rules and calculations to make your search better and more accurate. How does the CEO works? Okay, it works with keywords and back links now keywords. We already talk about them, and we still going to talk about him during these scores again, but I assume it's kind of clear the meaning off key words, but I'm going to give you an example for this example. We're here in Google, and let's look for Japanese. Here it is Japanese fried rice, as we can see in the results we have here Japanese fried rice, Jackie Mason, because that's the name of the Japanese fried rice again Japanese fried rice. So exactly what I looked looked for is here. Those are the key words. Now you see here, for example, in Wikipedia, it says Hung, you will say, but that's not a keyword. But if you go to the meaning off the Han here in Wikipedia, you see, also known as Jackie Messy that it means he's the Japanese fried rice. So these are all keywords that makes all of these to be here. If you go a little bit down, you can even see the videos here we Japanese fried rice fried rice so you see the you tube videos that are recommended here because of the keywords. Now the question is here why these pages are on the stop here. No recipes that comb, a chopstick chronicles that comb, etcetera. And those pages are here because a lot of people are watching them. And also because other pages have recommending these pages. That's why they are going to be in the top on those air called back Ling's. When other pages are recommending it'll their pages that got was saying so. This is basically what the CEO is doing, recommending pages, recommending videos based in the search that you did. And that's because of the algorithms are using the key words on the backing. Ski words are very important, but now let's talk about back leaks when we search something in Google, the top pages that appear there are not just there because of key words, but also because of backing if a weapon, which has a lot of key words, it doesn't mean that that page is relevant for your search. But if that webpage is also recommended by other wear pages, then that is relevant. And that is what is called Barclay. Now let's talk about Seo on you to It works basically very similar keywords and buckets when we talk about keywords we already mentioned that is good to use keywords in your title your description in you have the tax on the bottom when you put a video, those are also the keywords and also in the name of the file that you are uploading now. What about the back wings in YouTube? The batteries in YouTube are basically the interaction that the people are coming with your video. The users are watching your videos if a person is commanding your video, if a person is answering comments from your video or putting a like in your video or subscribing to your channel because of that, video is basically recommending the video because he's showing interest in your video. This is one of the boxing's in your tooth. Another one is the Bueller retention that means how much time the viewer is watching your video. Don't worry that we're going to talk about interaction and viewer retention further in this course. But as an example, if you have a video of 10 minutes and I watch one minute of the video and then I just go out of the video to watch another, that's 10% of your retention. It's not good. That's why you have to make your videos entertaining and also with good quality. If you dominate the keywords, the viewer retention on the interaction. Basically, you dominated the S E O. 25. Discoverability: And when you're searching for something in Google, your BDO would appear also in that search, of course, if he's related to the surge. But think about it. How to make it easier to be discovered. How can people find you? And the answer key words. We talk about it already, but I like to talk about it again because they are very important to be discovered on YouTube. The attention in the keywords. Every time you post a video in the title, you have to focus in the title a lot. Do a research like I help you already. I showed you how to do it. You are researching Google are researching YouTube before you post a video, and you have to do it in every single media. Also in the tax. Also the keywords in the description and also in the file when you are uploading the video What I used to do, it's actually I copied the title of my videos, and I put the same title as the name off the file that I'm uploading. That helps believe me also in the title of the video, I always like to put like a line and put the name of my channel. And that is good. People are searching for your channel. Remember? Also in the description to use the keywords in the 1st 2 lines. I mean, use it all over the description, but the 1st 2 lines are very important. Remember that because these are the line, they're going to be visible next to the town A before the people click on it. Do a research with the competition. Look, for people that have the same media is that you have looked for their titles. Look, what is it working for them now? There's many ways to see which are the key words they're using. Let's go to you too. I'm gonna show you that. Okay? We're back in YouTube, and I'm gonna show you something very important. This is actually something that you're going to using every single video. There are different applications that can help you with this, but this is the easiest way. We're back in the same search that we did before Rome, Italy, and we have these four top four videos here. The question is, why are they here? We talk about the algorithm. We talk about the S E o but one of the main things Here are the key words. And I mentioned that you have to do every search before you post the video. Imagine that you went to Rome and you didn't block there. And you want to post your video in YouTube and it's gonna be called Rome, Italy. So then you want to compete with these ones? One of the research is that you have to do, and I always do. Is to find out which are the key words off every single BDO here in the top four. And there is a very easy way to do it. So let's go to the first video. The top one. Okay, we get we're going to go here in an empty space. Okay? Now we're going to do Ah, right. Click. We're going to have this options. What? We're going to choose his view page source on. There you go. We are in the source page. Look at this. It looks super complicated, but don't worry, we're not going toe. Investigate any of these or learn how to do it. Don't worry about it. We're just going to look for the key words. These is the source off the page off Rome, Italy. Here, the video number one. The top one. So what we do here is we're going to type if you're in a PC, control F or if you're in a mock, you put common F and they hear you're gonna type keywords. And look at this immediately comes here. You have three options, but the first option, just the first option. Look at these. Decided that keywords of this video Rome walking tour travel to Rome, Italy, Rome City walk and you have all the keywords off this video. So this is basically giving you the idea of what to write, what to tie to get the proper keywords. Now let's go back and let's go to the second video. We do the same and remember, we type keywords. And there you go. What to do in Rome? Rome attractions. Rome. So what I do always is to research the top four or five videos, which are the key words I choose. The best ones tried to choose the most common ones, and I use them as my keywords in the tax section. And that's it. I do these in every single video Every time I'm gonna posting YouTube. My research I look for my competition. I check their keywords and the titles under their descriptions. And then I do mine. I hope this steep works for you. Use it as much as you can. You will be successful. 26. What Do You Need to Get Monetized: What do you need to get monetized? I think you remember. We talked about it before, and it is 4000 horse and 1000 subscribers. That means that people have toe watch your medios for 4000 hours. That's like 240,000 minutes. And you have to get 1000 subscribers we've seen one year. It's not gonna be easy. I'm not gonna lie to you, But it's not gonna be difficult either. If you follow the rules that we talked about during the scores, and by rules, I mean discover ability. I mean, uniqueness, keywords, etcetera. If you follow what you're learning these cores, then he's gonna be much easier. We're backing YouTube studio, and this is something very quick. I wanted to show you it. Let's check here in the menu in the YouTube studio, and then let's go to monetization. And this is where he's going toe appear. Grow with YouTube. There is some information here, so you can see what you need to be monetized, right? These 4000 hours and 1000 subscribers and this is a within 12 months. Now you can see here. What is that you have their subscribers you have a long way to go to 1000. You have 12 hours. Watched. You have a long way to go to 4000. This channel. Actually, I just made it that a few weeks ago, during the recording off this course Because that was the purpose for these channels to create a new channel for you to understand how it works. Okay, If you want to be notified when you are unable to be monetized, you click in this part over here on the bottom where it says that they're gonna let you know. Okay, this is something very quick that I wanted to show you. As soon as you get the requirements, you're going to see the monetization enable. And then you're gonna be ready to make some money. And remember that you're not going to get the money from the abuse or from the minutes you're going to get the money from the advertising that is going to run your channel off course. If you have more views and more minutes, you do is going to allow you to have mawr advertising in your videos. 27. How To Do It ( ADSENSE): absence or Bootle absence. It's a platform that off course belongs to Google and is the one who is going to allow you to have advertising in your channel to make it clear they are the ones we're going to put the advertising, and they're the ones we're goingto pay you also north, You two. Obviously, you have to create an account with them, so you will have to goto at since that come and create the account. But for now, it's not going to be possible to do because you are not monetized yet. You have to reach the requirements 4000 hours in 1000 subscribers within one year. As soon as you get the requirements, you're going to create your account and link it with your China. Now let's go to the next lesson where I will show you how to monetize the videos. 28. Suggestions On Monetizing: were you to studio And this channel actually is my travel journal. It's not the channel that we created for the course, because this channel is monetized and I want to show you something about monetization. Okay, let's go to videos. As you can see, I have a lot of videos here, so we're going to go toe. Let's see, just let's just this one, okay? It costs five minutes and 38 seconds. We go toe the symbol of dollars. That means monetization. It says monetization on and you can actually put it off. You will say, If I want to make money, why would I put off? There is a reason, and there's many times that you just created your China. You don't want the people to be scared of so many advertising. You just put it like off. You don't want the video to be monetized for now. I think you get enough subscribers, for example, here. I'm going to show you that you have different kinds of monetization. You can have other Tyson's next to the video. These are the best because they're not involved with your video there. No took over in your video there next with, and that's very good. That's always gonna be there. As you can see, I can click it. Now you have another one. That is the Bonners. The banners are actually over your video. Okay, then. You complice on, sir. Carts old. So here you have the is capable videos odds that these are the ones that actually most of the videos half. When you go in the video, you're gonna watch it and you see an advertising that you can actually keep after six seconds. Then this is the one, okay? And then you have the nonce capable video arts. These are the ones that appear, and you cannot do anything. You just have to wait for them to finish. And that's why I don't have it. You know, you can take it, but I prefer to have it like this. Why again? The question. If you want to make money, why you dont click it here so you can have more advertising. Well, especially when you start as a youtuber. When you just monetize your china, you just get the 1000 subscribers and the 4000 hours of use 1000 subscribers is no module. So you're small you to over two just got monetized. I will not suggest you toe overwhelm the viewers with a lot of advertising because think about a customer. When you watch a video with a lot of advertising, you get uncomfortable and you have a lot of your ability to just keep the video. I prefer to watch another video, and that's a problem. So remember when you wanna watch a video and you see that there is an advertising that you're going to do anything, you just have to wait for it to finish. I don't like it. And that's why I know I'm not clicking here because I want my videos to be what I would like a video to be for me, you know? So let's try to think like that at the beginning, and this is going to be very good for your channel old. So because you're going to get more people to watch instead of being overwhelmed with other Dyson, at least for the beginning. OK, big YouTubers, they can do it because they already have the audience. Now I'm going to show you something that here you can see eating like grey. I cannot do anything here. So we're going to go back because these videos, five minutes and 38 seconds, we're going to look for a longer video more than 10 minutes and let's see, over here I have sat liable, for example. That's 11 minutes. Let's go again. Here. Now you see that this is black is no gray anymore, Okay? Why? Because they need us more than 10 minutes when the media is more than 10 minutes. You have the option to put advertising during the video. When you get here, you see that you have managed mitral so you can choose in which moment the advertising is going to appear. And don't worry if you forget to do these. If you don't want to do this, you just click it here because the algorithm of YouTube is very clever and is going to choose the perfect points to put the advertising during your video. Okay, if you don't trust allegory of them, come here by do it by yourself. But normally when I do it, I leave the algorithm to decide. So it's OK. Then you have here the option to have advertising after the video also, and that's also very interesting that you can do because already the person that was watching your video over the finish your video So it's OK to leave it like this. That's what I wanted to show you. Summarize. Just remember trying no to overwhelm your new subscribers with so much advertising. I know that we just wanted Tighter Channel and we're so excited and we want to make money. But it's better. It's thinking in a long term, you know, get more subscribers, get more people to watch our channel and then enjoy putting a lot of advertising. But at the beginning, don't do it. This is the best not to do it. It's just through some of this ones, the ones that are not bugging march on. Enjoy. You know, that's the idea of being a Jew to over 29. Consistency: Let's talk about consistency. You have to be constant. For me, this is a matter of being respectful with your audience. They're starting to follow you there, starting to subscribe to your channel. You need to give them a rhythm, a pattern you need to post constantly. It doesn't mean to post every day to post every week every month. It means that your content has to be off the best quality possible. So based in the quality you can do post as much as you can. For example, in my case, I have ah, travel channel. Actually, I do blocks about traveling around the world and stuff like that. So when I started, I was posting every morning because every time I was troubling, I was making so many footages and put them all together and edit those food. JC always was taking me a lot of time, but then, with practice and with hundreds of videos edited now, I'm trying to post every week, but that needs a lot of discipline. The most popular channels are always constant. Sometimes they even put the day and the time they're going to post every week or every born and people like that. Remember that people can unsubscribe your channel, so you have to give them what they want. You have to upload videos in a constant way. 30. Video Interaction And Timing: video interaction and timing are two very important things that are directly related. Toe the CEO. You need to interact with your videos, and you need people to interact with your videos. But the question is, how am I gonna do that is very simple. When a person gives you a like that's an interaction and is very important. Now, if the person doesn't like your video and give you on unlike he doesn't matter because that's also an interaction, they're actually helping you. The algorithm is going to see that the people are not just watching your video, but they're interacting with the video and that is going to help you to run cup. Another kind of interaction is the comments. If a person combing your video tried to answer all the comments as much as you can because that's interaction, he fight Coming your video. That's one interaction. If you answer the comment, that's to interactions. And you know what? Sometimes when I answer the comments, I answer the Commons with a question. So I'm expecting this person to answer that question, and that's actually kind of three. Interactions were creating an interaction in the whole video and that is going to help you to run up famous YouTubers being YouTubers. They ask the people to interact with the video and that it's normal. I do it with all my videos. For example, when you watch a video on the person is like at the end of the video sometimes is in the middle of the video, and the person start to say, like, Hey, guys, if you like the video, give us a thumbs up or and subscribe to my China, don't forget to subscribe or leave your comments below these things. The YouTubers are asking people to interact, and you know what that works. I do it with all my videos. Now let's talk about timing. What time are you gonna post your video? Which is the best time to pose your video? It's not written. It doesn't exist. The perfect time to pose your videos. Many people are going to tell you maybe you know what the best time is prime time in the evenings or weekends. It's not true because if you're a small youtuber and you're starting, you don't want to compete with the big YouTubers. The big YouTubers are always posed, posting in the weekends, and so some of them are posting in the middle of the week. But they have a reason. It's always you have to check her analytics. You have to study your audience to see which is the best time. But my suggestion at the beginning don't do it on weekends because you're going to compete with the big YouTubers. And you know what? If you have a video that is very related to the video big YouTubers there, so many YouTubers for sure your video is going to be related with one of them gets what Their videos are gonna be here and your baby is going to be here. So you don't want that. My suggestion would be to post in the middle of the week. I do it all the time, my channels starting to grow. But I'm still posting in the middle of the week because it works. Now, if we start to talk about timing, what is the best time? That's also very depends. You have to check your analytics, for example, if you're in the United States and you check your analytics that my authority of your followers are actually from United States, you will post. I don't know if you are in New York. The majority of your audiences in New York try to post, like at 70 clock on a Wednesday, but try to post on a seven oclock new your time, so it means you're going to be there focusing in your audience. What happened. If you are from United States, your China is starting to grow, but the my authority over your audience, it's from England. If you're going to post at seven o'clock, new your time, that's gonna be maybe four o'clock in the morning in England. So try to check the timing. Try to check your analytics. Analytics is very important. We saw it already in some lessons before, So try to check your analytics, which is your audience, which is the A h of your audience also, and all of your audience. If you're making Children be videos, you don't want a post in the night you wanna post in today so everything is related to your analytics and everything is related to where your audience for the majority of your audience is. So to finish this lesson, talking about timing and talking about interaction. Try to always check because I'm not going to get tired to repeat it. Tried to always check your analytics based in your audience, based based in the demographics. Do your timing and be constant post at the same time the same day. This is the beginning, because that's going to make a pattern and your audience is going to know when to expect a new BDO. 31. Where To Get Music: in this lesson, I'm going to show you. Where is the music? Where can I get some music for my B Dios? So you have you to when you have these three platforms. I mean, there are a lot off platforms are going to give you music, but I'm choosing these three because these three, I use them. And I can tell you exactly what is Ethan where you're gonna find him. Where you which kind of music they have. Let's start with the ones that you have to pay. Okay. A music licensing companies audio dot com. I used this platform before. I didn't pay for the full subscription. I just use it for a few months to see how it is. It's really good. It has a lot of good quality content here, and all of them are gonna have the same idea that you're gonna bro's. And you're gonna look for the music by, for example, here you look for, like a city Canyon Cinematic classico. If you go for the mood Aggressive chemical bold, you can have a Chiel exciting, peaceful romantic start. Happy. Whatever. The idea is that you can feel their you know, the style of musically than the movie being element which instruments or collapse or oohs and ahhs on drumsticks or whatever you can be choosing the music that you want for your videos, depending off. What kind of video are you making? Okay, you have energy, for example. The music is gonna be very energetic or medium energetic and things like that. No, Look at this music that is coming in the first green. Deport Important. The quality of the music is really good, but let's talk about money. Let's talk about home marches. We go toe prising. What? It surprised me about this one. They don't have us. Ah, monthly subscription. That the other two I'm gonna show you. OK, they don't. But the price is really good. If you see it us for year $149. That's really, really a good price because you have thousands of songs and you can see that Toyota is using Nike, Adidas, Netflix, Bad Wrangler and I mean he's a very good platform with very good quality music. So $149. It's not about price. I mean, you can use all the music that they have for this price per year. Okay, But why? I wanted to show you this platform audio dot com. It's because they have a life time music membership. I don't think there is another platform that give you like this is to 99 forever forever. So Eve, you are a youtuber. You're starting your YouTube channel. You already a youtuber or you want to be a Utah. Where, and you are thinking in a very long term, this is a very good deal. I mean, to 99 forever. That's incredible. But now let's go to the other flat firm, these platform. I was using it until just now. I just stop using it. Not because it's bad is because I wanted to try the older platform epidemic sound that many YouTubers that I like are using. So I said, I'm going to give a try to the other one, and maybe I'll come back to music. Music is really good. I was using it until just now. What is your price needs? When I came here in pricing and I saw that it's $9 promote now. Oh, my gosh. I was paying like, $14. I stopped using it like three weeks ago, and I switched to epidemic sound. And I'm like, What is going on now is really $9 now, $9 per month. He's for YouTube and social media, so it means all the music. You can use it in your beautiful channel, and you can use it in Facebook, instagram or your social media. Okay, this is basically what we want when we're going to use. So that's what I'm saying. $9 a month is really good now. If you go to non profit in $19 then within is $59 or plus, you know why it's this plus because if you have for like, for example, an amount off followers in YouTube like you're making a lot of money, then they're going to try to a little bit more here. A. This $19 is for companies. There are making productions, but with non profit. Then you have for weddings and you have for business and enterprises basically for movies and theater or broadcast and things like that. So you can see that so basically $9 a month for music bed is a really good deal. I'm surprised that they change the price. That's very good. They're calling me. They're calling me. But well, okay, let's talk now about epidemic sound. If you don't, it sound is actually one of the most popular together with music bed. And I switched to epidemic sound because, um, I saw many YouTubers that I follow, like super famous YouTubers and big YouTubers that we're using epidemic sound and recommending epidemic sounds. So I wanted to use it to see what's going on. Okay, I'm not gonna lie to you. I don't I don't think it's better than music bed. I think epidemic sound quality is incredible, but it's almost the same quality and use a bit. I mean, I'm not going to say which is better. I think they are very good quality, both of them. There's no way I'm going to say one is better than the other. They're both really good, and audio is also really good. The difference is that the amount off musicians, the amount off material that you're gonna find in music, bet and epidemic sound is bigger. Now what you're gonna find in audio that come so these two would be the ones I will choose but off course out there that Comey's calling me but shouting because of these 299 for a lifetime music membership. My God, I prayed to 99 then I don't have to worry about anything, But, well, let's go back to epidemic sound. You can see here on the bottom. The price is $15 a month. Now you would say $15 a month. You are telling me, Mario, that it's basically very similar than music betting music. Peyton's $9. Why would I pay $15.6 dollars more? Why? Well, epidemic sound how some little details that music doesn't have. Okay. And one of them, that is one of the most important ones for me is that it has a big out your list. I'm not talking about music. I'm talking about, um, audio sounds, you know, sounds like you could use for the sound effects and sound a material that you need for your videos, and these is really good. All of them are extremely good quality, and that's why I will say if you're going to use them. Pay the $15 a month is It's better than than the $10 for just music if you're going to use it. In my case, I already have a lot of, ah, audio files and and all of these for audio effects and sound effects. So I'm not using march the epidemic sound that Steve is good and at some point I guess I'm going to use it. So I think I'm coming back to music that very soon because of this price. But But let's see, I'm gonna give epidemic sound a couple of months more and we'll see on then Let's go to the free one Utah. Believe it or not, some people doesn't know that. But yes, we have in YouTube free out here wearing our channel. Let's go to you tube studio and I'm gonna show you that we are in your studio. Let's go here on the left in the menu. Let's goto our your library. There you go. Look how many songs you have here. It says here rock roll and you have tons of electronic country classical. But actually you have so much more You goto fielder, you're gonna have You can look for track title for the kind of music you're looking for for the more darkest name, etcetera. But this is the new face. Let's go to the old face because you have more, more things here. There you go. Now I'm gonna show you how to look for the music. You have free music. All of them is going to be free. So it's really good that YouTube is giving giving you this. It is incredible. And you can see here you have Children's music scene in Monty Classical Contra fall all kinds of music here and then in the mood you have also angry Bride. Come, you see is the same idea off epidemic sounds or music bed and audio. And then you can look for the instrument and things like that. But what is it good about these? Besides that, they are updating all the time. They're putting new music constantly. And that is really good. Is that you can go here in sound effects and look at this. You want to have sound effects, tools, weapons, animals, weather, transportation. You have everything. Alien song. You have a lot off sound effects and everything is for free. This is what I like. Actually, so everything is for free here. And you do so Thank you. You too for that. So this is what I wanted to show you. So now that you have all these options and you have the free ones here in Utah, if if you don't want to pay for music for now, start with you two. For music, it's for free and create, Create, create and keep creating very good videos and use all the music that you want and that's it . Good luck with the music. 32. How to Increase Views: dominating the S E O for shorts, going to help you to increase views. But in this lesson, we're going to talk about external ways to do it personally. I use a lot of Facebook, instagram, Twitter and Reddit. If you don't know ready, I recommend it. I use it a lot. It's like a community with different stop red. It's that they are basically like Fordham's and you have toe look for the forums or for the Sioux credits related to your topic to your niche and try to look for them. Try toe, try to follow them, and then when you follow them and you are part of that community, you can share your videos also, and that is going to help you A lot for me. Ready helps me a lot to get new subscribers, to get views and minutes, of course, because that comes with abuse, etcetera. So it's really good to use ready. I recommend it. Now let's talk about Facebook, who is not using Facebook. Everybody is using Facebook, and that's why Facebook is very important to get also traffic in our YouTube channel tryto goingto Facebook. If you want, you can create a page in Facebook based in your channel, so you can also have followers there where you can get in a different contact. It's not just a video is a different contact that you can get with your subscribers with your followers. Also, if you go to Facebook, you can follow communities. You know you can follow other pages related to your niche and then follow them calm and be part of their communities and the same as ready. Just tell them you have a YOUTUBE channel. Tell them you have a new video and actually Facebook. They accept a lot of groups for you. Tours are starting and they help each other, like commenting about your videos. What is good in your video? What is backing your video? And that's the point. That's the good thing about being part of a community, to get something positive out of it and to give something positive to the community now about Instagram and Twitter. They're actually the same idea. You have to follow new communities, new groups you have to follow. People help them with positive ideas and things like that, share them, and that's going to be reciprocity. You know, you are also going to receive something positive from them. And then you can also promote your channel and things like that. For example, in my instagram, because I keep travelling, I do travel videos. So in that case, every time I mean the place or I'm going toe, I don't know. Let's make an example. I'm going to India, then in mind, surround my post pictures off me in the airport. I'm flying to India things like that. People that are following me are you are knowing in that moment that very soon I will be making a video of India. So it's good to have at least one or two platforms together with you two. In my case, I have already a bunch of groups that I'm following in Facebook. A bunch of communities that I created in Facebook with the time and every time I post a new video I share that video with all of them is very important to remember that the 1st 24 hours of your Vdovin post it on YouTube are the most important because of the S e o. The algorithm is checking out. Your video just posted your video. He might any of you just posted your video and you already are having like, I don't know, 2030 100 views You're already having interaction. People are liking your video. People are commanding in your video That is going to help you a lot because the algorithm is going to say, You know what this person is posting all the time, and every time they post they have a lot of audience within 24 hours, and they're going to rock your video up, at least for the 1st 24 hours. But that's gonna help you to get more abuse, more minutes and is going to help you to keep ranking up. So it is very important. The 1st 24 hours, I would say 24 hours. Some people say 48 but I would say the 1st 24 hours because you're gonna push the 1st 24 hours to get the best views, and that's why you're going to use Facebook instagram twitter ready than thousands of applications that are coming in the world right now. 33.
