1. Introduction to How to Digitize a Hand Drawn Design: would you like to know how to digitize your hand drawn design or coloring book page? High mining Micheli heads when author and illustrator And in this class I'm gonna take you step by step with the exact process that I have used. Teoh digitize my hand drawn coloring book designs and published them online in books, on mugs, T shirts and so much more. It wasn't that long ago that I was creating my own hand drawn coloring book pages for my book Broken Kranz Still Color. I created a different coloring book design for every single chapter in this book. And yet, once I had it drawn, the big question is how do I digitize it in orderto publish it in a print book, for example, This is the design in the first chapter of my book, and it is a design that have been used in other ways. Once you have your designed digitized and it's easier than you think, you can use it in an unlimited amount of ways. Not only did I publish it in a print book, but I had it published on T shirts here, just a couple of the T shirt designs both short sleeved and long sleeve. I also had stickers designed, and you can have your design printed on stickers that then you can sell also of mugs that have the same design that I'm able to sell online. And I even have my design on a magic mug. A magic mug is a mug that changes color from black, and then it will expose your design once you fill it with warm water. How fun is that? You can use this in personal ways. You can send your digital design to family and friends in formats that are easy to send an email or share online. But you can also create really cool, customized gifts. How awesome is this? Mugs, T shirts, stickers, tote bags, pillows? The options are really limitless. However, the first step is knowing how to digitize your design the right way. So I'm excited to take you through the steps in this class of skinny cleaning up in vector arising your design so that it isn't a format ready for you toe publish or selling products online, or even just share with your family and friends. 2. Supplies Overview: Let's get started by covering the supplies you will need for this class. So you will need a hand drawn design that you've created if you have not created one yet, I recommend taking my class easy coloring book designed. The Linkous is near class Resource is, and that will give you step by step instructions on how to create a hand drawn design. For example, this was the design I created in that class. I actually didn't even have any idea of what I was going to create. I created on the fly just to show you how easy how simple it could be. But you need to have an ink drawing ready for this class. You'll also need either a scanner, or you can use the Skinner pro App. It is in the apple store, so an iPad and iPhone those sorts of devices will have access to that app. If you don't have scanner or the skin or pro up. No worries. You can also take your design down to your local office supply store and have them scan it for you. The other thing that you'll need is if you want to clean up your design after its scan. You'll need photo shop for that. However, if you're using the skin or pro up, they clean it up for you, so you don't even have to worry about that step. The last thing is you'll need software to vector rise your design. You can either use Adobe Illustrator or you can use the free software escape, and I'm gonna show you exactly how to use that software so you don't have to spend a ton of money if you don't already have Adobe Illustrator, you can also hire someone very affordably to do the vector rising for you if that's not a step that you're wanting to do, and I will actually give you a resource that I used to have my broken Kranz still color design that I have on mugs and T shirts toe have that design vector rised. I was in the middle of a big book launch. I was super busy, so I just decided in that case to hire someone, and that's also an option for you. So that's all you need to get started. So get your design out and let's get started
3. Scan Your Design, Option 1: Use a Scanner: the first option for scanning your image and digitizing it is to use a scanner. Now, our scanner is about 12 years old. So to be honest, I didn't even think I was gonna be able to use our scanner. And in the beginning, I just used the scanner pro up, But then I actually tried it and realized I could actually scan images a 1200 deep EI. That's four times the amount that's needed for a print. But for print, you need at least 300 dp I. So even though my scanner is so old, it actually I was still able to use it. It is an old version of the Brother Skinner printer fax machine. One of the things I want you to think about if you're using a scanner is to make sure this surfaces clean, so if you're surfaces glass, pay attention to your owner's manual. You could use glass cleaner, but you want to make sure any dust particles or anything like that are removed from the surface. That way, they don't get in your scan, and then, obviously you will just put your image onto the scanner and you will close the lid. Now what I do for my images is I also add weight on top to make sure I get a really snug fit. Make sure there's not any wrinkles or any bubbles in my design, as is laying flat on the scanner. Now this is optional your skin or maybe fine without doing this. But you can also just use something heavy. Heavy books, something like that. I have a couple waits that I have here it home, and that's what I use. So you can see there are my little weights that I have there on the top of the scanner, and then I simply start to scan. So I'm going to take you now to my computer and show you the process there. Now each scanner is gonna look a little bit different. I'm just going to show you what it looks like for my scanner. Like I said, I have an old version of the brother scanner printer, fax machine, and it's the MFC Dash 210 C. I still can't believe it's going 12 years later. It is a gift that keeps on giving. My dad gave it to us for a Christmas gift 12 years ago. So what I have to do then is just click the image button and it brings up this screen. I can choose how I want to preview it afterwards and rescues the preview. I'm on a Mac book pro, and for file type you can do J. Paige. You can do tiff. There's a PNG option. I tend to scan my images in the tiff version because it will not lose quality over time. J. Peg. That version does tend to lose quality overtime when it's opened and closed and as it's manipulated. And so if you don't have a way to manipulate the tiff file afterwards, I open and Photoshopped and use it there. Then you may want to stick with J. Peg, but I usually use like I said, the tiff file and I use un compressed so that makes sure it's the highest quality. I can also choose the destination. I set up a folder on my computer for my scans, and then I can change that right here if I want to and choose a different browse. I can choose a different folder on my computer if I'd like, but that's where I ski and mine and then you can choose the resolution. Like I said, you need at least 300 by 300 d p I in the size that you need for your project. So if your book say you're gonna be making a coloring book, if it's gonna be a and 1/2 by 11 so it's gonna be a bigger size coloring book, then if your image was created as an 8.5 by 11 then you can get by by using the 300 by 300 DP. I and it will be perfect for what you need. However, if your images smaller states of four by six and you need that image to be larger, like an eight by 10 then you're gonna need to scan a in a higher resolution and then be able to edit that later so that you can make it bigger. But basically I would. I recommend. And what I personally do is if you have enough space on your computer or whatever cloud system you use, I use Dropbox. If you have enough space, just scan at the highest resolution. That way you have it for anything you need later at the highest resolution possible. If you need to blow it up for a big poster later, you are going to be able to do that because you have that higher resolution and then I usually do it in 24 bit color. And then the document size is 8.5 by 11. It's usually what that's usually the paper size that I drawn. So then it's already in that size, and that's the size that will fit on my scanner. A swell. There's some advanced settings. I don't worry about any of that. And then I just click. Start scanning because this is such a high quality image, it's going to take a really long time for this to scan. So I'm just going to skip over this process of waiting for it to scan and just go straight into the next option that you can use to skin your image, Which is the scanner pro af What
4. Scan Your Design, Option 2: Use the Scanner Pro App: in this video, I'm going to show you how to use the scanner pro app to scan your coloring book design. So the scanner pro app is available in the apple store at the time of recording this. It is currently $3 in 99 cents us. So it is a paid up, but oh, my goodness. I love this app. It is so amazing. So once you have the app, just click on the icon. You can see I have scanned many of my designs in here already. And the cool thing is, you can even add to the pages. So this one, I have a bunch of different flowers that I I scanned in here and the eye scan them all in the same document. So what do you do is you'll just press the plus button, the orange plus button in the bottom right hand corner, and that will bring up your scanner and then what I recommend you can see it took a picture there. I recommend choosing black and white, black and white document. Then what you'll do is you'll put it directly over the image and it will find the image, and it will scan it for you. So it's really simple. It cleans up the image for you automatically. You can see this is just a really nice image here, So in this case you can see it's in letter eight by 11 size. You can also change. The size is there, but then what you'll do. You'll click the done button. If you had clicked the edit button at all, you can crop it and things on the edit button. You can use the little crop, but in. And if it didn't get the borders exactly right, you can crop it. You could turn it and see. I can turn it all the different directions. You can change the levels. You could make it into a color document. You can look and see what all the different variations look like. Like I said for this, I think the black and white looks best in the top left hand corner. You can adjust things a little bit if you want. I just normally keep it as default. Just click done, and then once you have this, you can add more scans. So if you have multiple different coloring pages, just click that icon in the left hand corner, the ad icon. And then it will bring up the scan again, and it can add more pages onto your document. So that's a really useful thing. If you're scanning even something just for business and you need multiple pages, you can use that feature. What I like to do is I like to change the title. So here the bottoms, his scan and it has the date. So I'm gonna just click that little X and is going to delete that title, and I'm just gonna say, joy coloring page that way when I save it and I export it to my Dropbox or to my computer wherever I want to export it, it's going to save it with that title, and that way I will automatically know what that that images. So what you could do is just click the share button in the bottom center of the screen, and you can choose if you want to share does a PdF or a J peg. In my experience. Thus far, I have found that exporting as the Pdf will then give you a document that you can import into photo shop or other graphic design software, and it would be 300 dp i. But you probably will want to save it as both so say that both as pdf and as Jay Peg and you can save it. You know you can send it to your email. So if you just want to email it to yourself, if that's the easiest way, you can save it to your photos. What I like to do is I like to just send it right to my Dropbox. You can also use Google Drive or ever know if you use those. So I like to just click on the drop box link and then I have a folder for coloring pages. These air, the different scans that I have and I just have that folder in my dropbox. And then I can just click the blue upload but in and it will upload now. I had already uploaded this, so I'm just gonna click replace and it's fine. Then I can also do the J Peg. I just choose J. Peg at the top right hand corner of that screen, and then I choose the Dropbox and upload so that I have it in both formats. If I ever need it for any reason later, I have in both formats and that's basically all you have to do with the scanner pro app.
5. Scan Your Design, Option 3 Use a Copy Center: if you don't have a scanner or an apple device to use the scanner pro app. Another option is to use an office supply store like Staples. So Staples has a business center and on their website at the time of recording this, you can see they allow you to scan documents to the cloud. So Dropbox or Google drive and you can save it as a PdF JPEG or tiff. And if you can save it is all three. Like I said in the skin or pro app training, you know, if you can scan it in in multiple versions, that's gonna be great. But the tiff is normally what I will scan line in, and it's available in size up to 11 by 17. Now they don't have the price on the Web site. But I did call my local staples and I asked them, and they quoted me with that it would be 69 cents per page, but he said, if you just had one page, I probably wouldn't charge you, so I don't know. You'll have to ask your own Staples or local supply store how much it would cost. And you know what? What you can get done, but at the very minimum you you have options. You have places that you can go and get these scanning done.
6. Cleaning Up Your Design in Photoshop: Okay, Now that you have your design scanned, now it's time to clean up your design. I used photo shop, and this is optional for you, But I still have the photo shop elements editor on my computer. And that's what I learned years ago. So I still use this. And so I'm just gonna show you whatever version of photo shop you have. It's gonna look very similar. So I have This is a tiff file. If you have as a J. Peg, then you're going to be able to start editing it right away. But for this I just need to click on the unlock image so that I can get it unlocked. So I'm gonna do is I'm going to zoom in. I use command, and the plus button can use control and plus on a PC. And then I'm gonna bring up the levels which on a PC, it's control L on a Mac. It's command l that will bring up the level screen. So then what I'll do is I'll take the white dropper. I'll just click in the white so it kind of gets an idea of the areas that are why you just to a few places and then I'll click the black and I'll click in the areas that are black, and it's not really doing a whole lot for mine. But sometimes it will really brighten it up. You can also move thes lovers here to get different. Looks like this is making it more washed out. I definitely don't want that. I normally just leave it at the default for this, which put this back at one. So I usually just leave those at the default unless it's a color invention that I've scanned. But that's for another tutorial. So I just do the black and the white drop or I click, OK, and then with it. Zoom Dan, I'm going to zoom in a little bit more now. I will just go through and I will clear. Clean up the documents. You can either use the eraser tool or you can use the paint tool and use the white. So I'm just gonna use the paint tool, and I'm going to click this little Aero to get it to be white. You know, everyone has different ways that they do things. You choose the different brush that you're using and you can clean up as much as you want in here. You know, these have little little imperfections that I can clean up. I can actually even come in, zoom in further and you don't have to clean all those things up. Like Like I said, a lot of people just really like the hand drawn look anyways. But I'm gonna look for any spots that may have gotten on my scanned image Up here, there's a whole black line area. I just clean that of this is going to take just a few minutes, and it's not something that you necessarily have to do, but I usually do it for mine. So there's a little piece right there that I just feel beaded. Here's a little extra thing on the edge. Deleting that just depends exactly how you want your image to look. This is something you can also outsource to a graphic designer. If you know, if your an author and this isn't your strong point, and you just want to be able to do something else, you can actually outsource this part of it if you want. But I just want to show you how you can do it yourself. You can also use other free Softwares. Graphic design software's Online There's so many different ones that you can use theirs. Many different options is so I will put those in your class. Resource is as well if you don't have Photoshopped or don't have access to it. CNC I'm just kind of going through. I'm scanning the image and just cleaning up any rough edges you can see here. There was a little spot. I think that was probably from something on my scanner. That's why it's important to clean your skin or off if you can, so you can just see. I just can't keep going through cleaning up any edges. And a lot of these I wouldn't even have to clean up if I didn't want to. But since I'm doing it, I figure in my as well and just make thes smooth and also shows me next time I make circles . You know, I could be more intentional about making those lines those closures better so that I'm not having to do this cleanup part afterwards. I see ah lot of these circles and I think I was I was doing it kind of quick And I was showing you, um, in my other class, easy coloring book designs. You know, I was showing you as I was doing it, so it's probably not paying his close of attention. But, you know, that gives me some clues on how I can improve my own design skills. You can see some of these lines are uneven. That's something I could maybe improved. Here's another little piece that got on there, So there wasn't really a ton to clean up there. I'm gonna click on command Zero and it's gonna bring it back to the full image here, and then I'm going to save it as, and I'm going to do the joy coloring page. I'm just gonna name this photo shop just cause I've been doing different things and then you're just gonna choose down here what image you want now because you're going to be importing this and to into your vector software. You can use J. Paige and other formats. I'm just getting J peg right now and just say that you wanna have it the maximum, None for the mat and just go ahead and click, OK, and then it's done, and that's just a real simple way to clean up your file in photo shop. This is the way I do it. There's a lot of different ways to do it. I've seen a lot of different designers do a lot of different things, so find the system that works best for you and use it. All right. Now we're going to go on to vector rising your image.
7. Introduction to Vector Images: in this training, I'm going to share with you four different ways. You convict, arise your image. I encourage you to find a system that works well for you and then just repeat that system over and over. So what is affect? Er image. This really confusing at first. So I want to explain a little bit more before I go into the four different options. But first, let me explain what a bit mapped images. Ah, bit Matt Images, also known as a raster image. And those are what you're familiar with. Like J pegs, PNG's and a bit Matt or raster images gonna use pixels, which are square to create the design. So when you have a J. Peguero, PNG or what's known as a raster image, if you use it at that size or smaller, you won't have any issues. But if you try to blow it up, if you try to enlarge the image, it's going to become distorted or pixelated. However, once you have a vector image, you don't have that problem because it uses mathematical equations with geometric points, lines and shapes to create an image that could be scaled without losing any quality with which is awesome when you're designing things, because then you can scale the image huge for posters or different designs. Who knows what you might use your image for in the future, and it won't lose inequality now. I will preface this by saying, If you have a 300 DP I image in the size that you need for a book or a design you can. You can use that design. You can use that image. You don't have to convert it to a vector image. But the standard for illustrators is that the image is is converted into a vector image. And so I really do recommend that you learn this and that you do this for all of your coloring pages, because it really is kind of like the gold standard that's used for coloring books and other designs.
8. VectorMagic.com: so the first option is vector magic, and it's a software that's available online, and it can convert several types of bit mapped images. PNG, JPEG and Jeff into scalable vector images is convenient to have. If you will need to use your artwork to scale larger images without it looking blurry or low quality. And all you have to do is upload your bit Matt image to the software and click the upload image to trace. The site is just vector magic dot com, and basically, you just click this upload image, and there is where you can upload your image. It'll then trace your image and show it on the screen. As you can see, you will have the ability Teoh, from here to make revisions as needed so you can do different revisions and from the site. Typically, you'll get two free image downloads to try out the service. I've already used my free downloads so I can't walk you through the process right now, but you know, once you have it the way you want it, just press down the result and you'll have to register to use and to use it and enter a password to receive your image. No big deal, but you get a couple free images to try it out, and then you can download an E. P s file svg file pdf in PNG, So you have all the different formats that you need. And one thing, though, about vector magic is when it converts it. It removes the transparency. Or, you know, if you already had a white background, it just keeps the white background. This may or may not matter to you if you're creating coloring pages, but if you do need a transparent background, then that will involved another stuff. And other software. And vector magic does provide some free and paid options for doing this, which is nice if you like it. There's an online version for 7 95 a month or $295 for the desktop version, which allows you to use it offline. So that's a non option
9. Using Adobe Illustrator to Create a Vector Image: The gold standard for illustrators is Adobe Illustrator, and basically, you know it has. There's photo shop in design illustrator. All of these different APS you can use for one monthly fee, and they do offer a 30 day free trial if you want to try it out. But to use Illustrator, you're basically going to import your image and in this example was a PNG image. Once you open it in the workspace, then you'll click on the drop down arrow. You can see right here next to image trace in the menu bar. You're just click that drop down menu and then you'll see a lot of options. You'll want to choose the black and white logo, and then you will notice a progress bar as illustrator traces your image. Once that is done, click the expand option on the menu bar. So that's right there. That expand option. Your image will not have blue points around it that looked like this. Click anywhere off the image and the blue points will disappear. Now you've created a vector graphic. Just save it as an adobe illustrator document, and you can just save it as a dot ai. You can also gives you different options of saving the previous form of Adobe Illustrator if you choose, but you'll just create PDF compatible file. So click on the Create PDF compatible file and you can also click on the use. Compression option can also color your design right in the program if you want to use it online or if you want to print it off or somewhere. But if you're using it for coloring pages or for putting on products, you'll just want to leave it black and white. And basically that is the process with Adobe Illustrator. So we've covered vector magic dot com and Adobe Illustrator. Now I'm gonna talk to you about Inc escape.
10. Using Inkscape to Create a Vector Image: e escape dot warg is a free, open source software, and you'll just go to escape not, or if you click on download and then you'll get the version that you need. This is for Windows. This is for Mac, and I will tell you that downloading it to my Mac was a little bit cumbersome. It requires it required me to download this other software X courts, and I had to change my settings under the settings system preferences under security and privacy. I had to go in here and I to click on this, and then I had to choose anywhere and allow from anywhere. And what I did is I did this so that it would download the app because otherwise it was not allowing me to download the up. But I do like to normally keep it on this and keep it locked. So if any of that is of concern to you, you know, then you can use one of the other options for vector rising your image. I was able then to get it installed, and I do want you to know when they say that it will take a long time right here. it says note. This first launch of escape can take a while because it will cash fonts installed on your system. It really does take a long time. I actually thought it wasn't downloading the software correctly because I'm just a Nim patient person sometimes, and I work very quickly, so just give it time to install, and it will work. Fine. So I did want to let you know that about the Mac. I have not used this on windows, but they have for 32 bit windows in 64 bit windows you can install here. So this is free, completely free. And once it's on your computer, you just open it up and you can use the software to vector rise your image. So now I'm gonna open my file. I'm gonna bring in this coloring page. Joy coloring page says embed from file image rendering. We're just gonna click, OK, just keep it at the defaults. And I will tell you that as you're using this software, it does use a lot of resource is on your computer, so it may go very slowly. Just be patient. All right, So then you're just gonna click this toe where it's selected. You can see by how the arrows are pointed if they're up and down or pointing towards it so pointing towards it means it selected. And then you come up to path and trace bit map. Now, you can leave these pretty much as the standard, if you want. I did some previous scans and I changed it. 2.5 here on the threshold that seemed to work well. And then I chose to remove the background so it would be like a transparent PNG. And then you can choose a live preview and that will just show you what it's gonna look like. But you're gonna want the brightness cut off is what you're going to want to trace it by. Then you just click, OK, and it will trace. Then vector rise your image, right. You can see now it has completed the process. You can close out that window and then what it does is it creates, ah, layer on top of the other layer. So you just move this top layer over, and then the original image underneath you will delete that layer. So basically, once you have that layer selected you can come up to edit and cut, and that will delete it off of your project. Then you'll come back over to the vector rised image. Bring it back over, and then you can click on this little image here, and it will show you that your design is now vector rised. If you want to view it, you could zoom in here. So let's go ahead and zoom in and so you can see all the different lines it's created have zoomed in quite a bit here. I'm gonna click on this so you can see there's a lot of different points on here that it has created, and so you can come in and edit this if you want or if you need, but I personally just would save it than as a vector image. And that would be the image that you could use so you can come in here and edit this. There are a lot of tutorials online to do that you can Google escape vector images, those sorts sorts of things. I will also put the link in the class. Resource is to the tutorials on the ink escape site. You can go toe learn. There's video tutorials on their site, which will give you a lot of other different tutorials of how you can use this to work with your images. But basically all you need to do is have it traced the image, and then you'll do file, and you it can export the PNG, and here you can see what the width and the height is gonna be in pixels, so you'll need to have this in a way that will be the size that you need. So this is a little calculator online. You can find these calculators everywhere, but I intend to use photo shop. You can also use Photoshopped to convert and see what the pixels two inches would be. But let's say okay, 714 by 29 27. So it's gonna be pretty small. That's gonna be a two by three inch size. So let's say you need 8.5 by 11 inches and 300 d. P. I. Then the wit would be 25 50 and the height would be 33 100 so that already changed that. Just do that there, or you can leave it at what it was as well. And then you're just going to choose hide All except selected Close when complete and click export have to under file name. I was gonna name that joy coloring page of vector rised who click export and then it was exported says it was exported to the dropbox that I had established before. So let's go back over here. You can export and as and you can choose where you want it to be exported to, you can also save it as and you can save it as an escape S v g file or it can be a plane spg file. You can export it as a PdF from here as a PNG and GPS, GPS is a vector eyes file that's often used and so there's a lot of different formats that you can export it as it does not allow you to export it as an adobe illustrator file. But you pretty much have all these other options, So I would just recommend choosing the plane S v g. And that will probably work well for most options. So I would just export it as a PNG file and as a vector rised ous spg file as well. And then you will have your vector rised image from inks cape, and you can then use that on products and other images, as you would like. So when you're in the escape, you can also change the color of this design toe white in select all. And then for the Phil, you can choose it to be white, and then that will change your color designed toe white. And then again, you can save it as an SPG file. You can export it, export the PNG file, and I will just do that so you can see what that would look like. And the white will look very good on color T shirts and color designs. So now you can see I have my vector rised images. Here is the black. And then here is the white and I did all of that inside of ink escape. And it's a free software. Like I said, to use, you can see that looks pretty. It looks really good. I was able to vector rise both of both our that image in both black and white, and it really doesn't take very long once you learn the process. So that's just a brief tutorial on escape. And I hope that it helped you. There's a lot more more tutorials online, and I have not explored all the different options. I just want to show you the basics of how to trace your file and to convert it into a vector image.
11. Outsource: now the final option. I want to show you, as you can just simply outsource it. When I was working on my book, Broken Cran, still color, I was very busy. I had a lot going on, and I really just wanted somebody else to do it for me at that moment instead of trying to figure out how to do it all these other ways. And so I've sense, you know, researched and figured out these other ways to do it. But at the time I spent two fiber and this link is in your class. Resource is filed and this was the person I used. $45. They will vector rise your image. You can look and see what they what they're their specifications are This person may change what they offer in the future. They may not be here for a while, but they've had over 3300 reviews, and it's a five star. It was fast there from Brazil, and so that's why they're able to do it inexpensively is because they're from another country and what we pay them is is worth a lot more. So you can do definitely do this if you just need a few files effect arised and you want to save your time. So the wit to source files and one high resolution PNG. I'll just show you what I did. This was mine from back in October. Like I said, I just decided to hire someone, and I just did my broken crayons still color image. So they ask you for what you want, and I uploaded this image that I wanted Vector rised. And then I just asked them, Could you send the fight final file to me, drawn as drawn in black as well as in all white? And the reason that I wanted to do this is because for the T shirt designs, they it needed to be white on a lot of the colors. White T shirts don't set tend to Sella's well, and I've done research and talked to people who sell a lot of T shirts. So in order to sell a color T shirt with my design, my design needed to be in white. And so I asked for that, and it was quick. It was easy, and that is also another option. So I hope you found this tutorial helpful on how to vector rise your image. It doesn't have to be hard. Just choose one of the four options and get it done. I'm so excited for you to move forward for you toe. Learn this process so that you can use this skill for years to come on your products that you create. Whether you publish your designs and books or you publish them on products, this is a skill you can use for years to come.
12. Share Your Design: congratulations. You now have a digital design you can use for years to come in many different ways. You can use this for your own enjoyment to share with family and friends. Or you can use this to publish in books. You can create your own coloring book and published that on Amazon. You can also use these designs in your book as supplementary content like I did in my Broken Kranz Still Color book. If you want to learn how to self publish your book to Amazon and other retailers, I have a free book for yourself. Publishing books 101 and it walks you through the steps. The leak to that book is in your class. Resource is, and we'll take you through the steps of getting your book published online. The other way you can use your designs is to publish it on mugs and T shirts, stickers, totes, pillows there an endless amount of different types of products. You can now publish this vector arised image on my next class. I will actually take you step by step through the process of using my favorite print on demand company. This company not only will take the orders process. The orders process returns. Ship out the orders, but they'll do everything for you. All you have to do is literally just upload your design. Click a few buttons and you can start selling this design in many different ways, including the magic month that I showed you in the introduction video. So I'm really excited to take you through that process of selling your design on various products, and it's hands off once you upload your image. And once you have it set up, you don't have to be scurrying around and having different inventory and shipping out things. It could be done all for you, and it's actually a fairly decent profit margin. So make sure to take my next class where I will teach you exactly how to do that. In the meantime, upload your finished digitize design in the project area so that we can see what you created.
