1. Introduction - How to Create a YouTube Channel: Greetings everyone. My name is chosen for Dan, and today I will talk about creating a YouTube channel. This video is more about giving directions on setting up a YouTube channel from scratch. You will also get brief, yet precise and important insight on how you can compose titles, descriptions, and find cures for your YouTube videos. This video does, is a starting point. The main priority of discourse all about giving you an idea to start a YouTube channel. We will walk through state-by-state on sitting of the channel, customizing it, writing titles and descriptions to upload a video, insert. This course will give you a basic idea about YouTube channel and how you can work around. This course gives you directions on how things should be planned as you tend to build your u two community, it just shows you the path and gives you the idea to move forward. Thus, instead of making it a long and Lindy video, everything is short to the point and actually useful for your YouTube career. What's included? First, we will learn to create a channel right from the beginning, followed by customizing it with your costume logo, YouTube, banners, links, and many more. You will also get a Photoshop file with the right size so that you can adjust your designs according to the requirements. We will also learn about a website where you can design your own arts. In the second part, we will work on writing titles, descriptions, and finding keywords. Please note, this will be more of a direction giving you the idea on how you should compose yo contains. After this video, you should be able to explore more to get a concrete idea to move forward. We will also walk through the YouTube channel, hey, let's learn something and learn more about it. Like how we used to post contained. How long did it take to get monetize? Did community strike effected monetization? And many more. We will also walk through of what we learned in this course and seed from the backend the channel. And lastly, we will discuss some questions and answers. What most YouTubers might have. All you would need would be a computer with good internet connection. So after this course, you should have a complete idea to sit up a YouTube channel from the basics, customizing it, and then know ways to find key words and use them on your titles and descriptions. Yet, again, this course is the starting point. The more you practice, the better you will get that this course will put you in the right direction to move forward. So let's get started.
2. How to create a YouTube channel: Greetings everyone. In this video tutorial, we will learn how to set up the YouTube account from scratch. In this part of the video, we will run all the basic setups that is sitting up the logo, YouTube channel art, watermarks, basic info, and others. So let's get started to open a YouTube. Let's open our browser and go to youtube.com and then sign in. Please note, you need to have a similar count to create a YouTube channel. Anyway, sign-in. So once you assigned in, simply click over here and click on youtube studio. So here you can choose the YouTube name. If we are doing it a personal channel, you can add your name here. And if you are doing a business channel, you can click here and give a business name to it and create. I'll go back and then we'll create with my own personal name and click on create channel. You can click on Learn More and a YouTube video will play. I will close this though. After creating the channel, Let's customize it. Go to customization. Now here are a couple of options you can see. Here you can choose a video to display when someone visits the channel. And this is the featured one for those who have already subscribed. And this is another subsection. I will explain this later as we need to have videos for it to showcase anyway. Now go to branding and Julia logo. Here, manor email and a video watermark. Basically, you need to have a square size logo and 2048 by 1152 sides due to BOD. So I have created a Photoshop file for all of this and will be provided. Let me open it up. Here's the logo. Let me open Photoshop. So you can add your own logo here. For example, if this is your logo, simply drag it to Photoshop. Give it a proper size, use a big sized logo, and then customize it and save it in a PNG format. Anyway, I will control per se did for this example. This is my logo. Let me upload it. Please note you need a square size logo just to make sure it's a little bigger size than recommended. Anyway, looks all good, done. It will look like this. Now for the battery maze. Here again is the battery MSAs. Let me open Photoshop. So this portion is visible on the deck. Stop. The whole images for the TV is for tabulate and visible on all devices. So what I'm referring to is if you go to YouTube and go do a channel, for example, here let's learn something. So this is the logo and this is the banner we are talking about. So this is the banner size. Now if you don't know how to create a custom banner, the simplest way is to go to canva.com. The site offers free designs, so search for YouTube channel art. Here are quite many options. I will simply skip that tour. So whatever your channel is about Jews, a relevant one. And downloaded by making some changes. You can change text and many more are simply download an edit on Photoshop. For free version, there's a bit of limitation. You will not be able to download the biggest size, but it will not be that bad as well. Simply downloaded. You can also create a free account here. Anyway, it has been downloaded. So in folder, I will simply cut it and bring it here and open it with Photoshop. This photoshop file is a little bit bigger as you can simply expand it. So this person will be seen on the deck. Stop. Oops. So this undertake stop. This on the tablet and this whole portion on the TV. After all the changes, save it as PNG rather JPEG file for better quality. So it's done. I'll close this and close Canva as well. Do check Canva as it offers lots of redesigns. And now let's upload the battery maze. So here's my cover art. So let me upload it. Useful if you have an intro video for a few seconds. After these edits, simply publish each bulb list. Let me go to the channel. So this is how it will look. But we need to add videos here and then go to Basic Info and write about the channel, what it is about, what will you do, basically everything about your channel. I will just add a random text. You can as well add languages and add links to like website, Facebook and everything you want. And click to show the links on the banner. First five will saw all the five links. And you can write your contact details here. Later, you can also customize the channel lame, like youtube.com slash C slash your username. But this will only be allowed later after uploading videos and meeting the criteria. You can check it back later. And now if I refresh this, and if I click on about, here's the description, and here is my web site plus are the links we added. So the basic customization is done. Let's go to the dashboard again, made the way. You can also choose to change the channel name here. As you can see. Anyway, after this customization, go to Settings. Choose the currency useful after monetization, channel basic info, 2a country, I'll just choose USA. You can add a default keyword here for the channel, like your channel name or keywords relating to your channel. I lived this. Go to Advanced Settings. Select nor this tunnel is not for kids or else comments will be disabled. And there would be some restrictions from YouTube if you choose for kids. Please note all these settings apply to all your videos wildly upload. These options here will be the default, but you can tell them individually letter when uploading a video. However, if anyone tries to add a link on the comment, you can block it. Taking this, so every comment with links will be blocked. But of course, you can add your own custom links in the comment. Now the defaults. You can allow comments. You can hold sudden comments or hold all or disable comments. So it's all up to you. So the agreement has nothing. And save it. 3. YouTube video - Title, Description, Keywords: Now that we have done the basic setup for our channel, we need to add videos to it. Suppose you have created a video for your channel. So to applauded, you need a title and description to it. Instead of writing anything out of nowhere, it will be wise to use some tools and formulate it as accordingly. This would be your basic foundation to start. Anyway. Now let's search for the video. Let's say WordPress. You can see there are lots of videos coming over. So the simple logic is videos with the title WordPress, our swing up. That's the keyword. Thus, whatever your container is, we should be using keywords and key phrases on our title and description. Specially on the description, use the keyword mostly on the first sentence as the rest are not visible on church. Your objective in writing their title and description is to find what people are searching for. If you are able to exactly right, what people search for, the chances of your video coming to the top is very high. However, please note, you are not the only one thinking in this direction. Everyone is targeting the same. Thus, keywords are categorized as highly competitive, medium and low competition. Obviously, high competition means many people are searching for it. Does lots of big players with high followers and views are possibly leading the market. But if you plan to compete the high keyword, then you can imagine, if you too will show your videos, are the ones with already high views. Thus, as a new YouTube, you focus should be finding keywords with low competition and a decent number of searches so that chances of your videos coming up increases. But the main question is how? Now let us suppose we created a video on backing of the WordPress website and we need to write the title and description. Let me open the nor bad. As a newbie, most of them will write macro Workers website as Title and something like this as a description. In this tutorial, you will learn how to backup your WordPress website. This look ok, but it is advisable to search if anyone is looking for this, you know, if five people are looking for this topic than the max views, your video will get five. Or if it is searched by millions, then you will be competing with big players. So the chances of your videos coming up is very low. Anyway, to start with whatever title or content your video is about, first type it on YouTube search. So you too will automatically guide you on what extras you can add as per your content, you can add without plug-in to computer, manually backup and database external drives as a crop. So you get an idea of what further to add to your title. But please use the relevant title as by your contained. If we are showing an example with blue host than non tried GoDaddy, you know, just mass a title with the video contained. So this gives an idea to create titles. The other free tool I uses at super tools.com. This is a free tool. Simply go to YouTube keyword search. So whatever your title is, simply search over here. Now, it is telling me around 11 k people are looking for this in a month. So it's pretty good. And again, the competition for these key phrase is low, which is again great. So if we can find that contained with these searches and competition, you videos can be found on YouTube very quickly. Anyway, scroll down and see the competition level, which is mostly low and medium hint, it's a good topic. So now you can see these are the exact terms people are using the search. So let's copy the exact title with high searches and use it. So I will write how to backup WordPress website as it has more searches. Then go to YouTube and add more terms like without plug-in, host name, date, etc. The title length permitted by YouTube is a 100 characters. Use them all. So this is how you'd write your title. Basically, you will surge and pick up the exact title with a high number of searches and low competition. Scan it and see what's based. Like backup, WordPress Word is already included, workers backup is already there. So add more terms from the churches like database may be. So depending on your contained, use these words and make a sentence. Please don't change the exactly phrase. Simply copy exactly what is being searched and AdWords here and they're making some sense after the title, we need to write the description. So we should also use key phrases in the description. Scan through the searches and find what's relevant. So another great word is backer WordPress. Thus the description can start with these words. Scan further. Let's add updraft plus, as we are not using plugin. So we will add without using updraft plus. Plus has 11 gets searches. However, it would be more wise if we had used updraft and use a keyword as people searching for it might be wanting to use updraft. Madonna's just to get an idea how to create the description. Pick relevant keywords and use it on the description. Don't limit to one key phrase only. Also search for relevant keywords like you are using WordPress. So let's search for it to, and let's find what people are searching on the internet. So WordPress is very popular with very high difficulty. So search for lower competition, like WordPress hosting. So you can add this word to the description, something like this. Like if you wanted to add a WordPress review, you can use it wisely. Of course, make it relevant and use it according to your contained and not randomly like this. Just because it's the searchable keyword. This is only for the idea. The whole point is, use keywords and phrases relevant to your videos. You will get lots of ideas and words to make sentences. This will also make your work easier as you compose a description. Just make sure to use low, if not medium keywords with the high number of searches. After these, we need tags. So copy the relevant tags from here and use a comma to separate it. Copy tags with low competition. And of course it must be relevant to your video. Don't bluff around and Don flood with tags. Just search your title or something relevant and use what comes up as accordingly. Anyway, just a reminder, one right, in description mixture to add keywords on these first two lines. Why? Because for the title, the whole thing is visible. But for description only these two lines are, as you can see, we search WordPress and it's highlighted here in the description. Anything below this would not be seen here. Thus, use keywords on the title and on two lines of the description. Like in our case, it's WordPress backup. So we are using it here. So that's a rough idea for you to write the title and description. Now let's upload a video. Go to youtube.com. I'll close this and created, upload a video. Select a video. So we have a sample video. Now let me copy this title. We can add further. The permitted is a 100 characters. Let me copy the description. You are allowed up to 5 thousand characters. Of course, right, more than this, there seemed to be lots of spelling errors, correct them. You can also use a grandma extensions for that. It does help to make some corrections. Anyway, also add relevant links to it, whatever it could be your social media or website links. And after that poster thumbnail to display here, you can use a cost of one. Basically, here's a thumbnail size. This is the ideal size. You can create your own. If not, again, go to canva.com and then use this to create one search for YouTube thumbnail. Choose the terminal you want and make some necessary changes and download accordingly. You will need an account to do it. Let me just cancel it for now. So create an account and use it accordingly. From now, I'll create one in Photoshop, right, sample cover Bayes, and save it as PNG. It's done. Let me close this and upload the thumbnails. So you need to have a verified number. So please verify. I'll close it anyway. You can simply upload by verifying. Then scroll down. You can create a playlist here. So it's not for kids. The sittings we did earlier. Click here if there are any IS restrictions. Click on More options. So you can add tags there. You are allowed up to 500 tags. But please don't use too many tags. Just use 15 to 20. And maybe you want to add channel name as the x2. After this go to category. So category is what we chose earlier. Then click on Next. Now you can add gods and also add n screens. So n strings is when you watch the video, a thumbnail of other video that comes at the end. If I click on added, it will look like this. You can change how much to cover and then select the video to display. All your videos. Come here. For now lets choose other videos. But obviously, you'd be choosing your own videos. Well, you cannot use the same video. So chosen or the video. After this, save it. And then also add cards. Let me add a video. Again, let me choose others. So this is how it appears. Drag it where you want to appear. You can again add more cards if you want. Hence save it. After this, click on next. So choose what you want this video to be, possibly public. And then simply publish. I'm not publishing this. So it's as simple as that final words. So there are lots of paid tools to find keywords. But as you are starting, you look for the free options. 4. Manually post videos, Do not Schedule: Hi, guys, this is why we have completely stopped scheduling
our YouTube videos. Before saying anything, let me open one of our experimental
YouTube channel. Let me go to this channel. Et we go to videos, just trying to show that we uploaded videos here
very frequently. You can see videos
posted six days ago, ten days ago, 13
days ago, and so on. And we also upload
shots very frequently. And these are all
scheduled video. We upload at least
two to four videos per week, including shots. The views, however,
are on that great. Anyway, point is, we are
very active on this channel. But if you go to
dashboard and click on earn You can see it shows zero video uploads
in the last 90 days. This is definitely not true. Not sure how the YouTube
algorithm works, but it has not recognized our scheduled video
as being posted. That's why we are planning to
stop scheduling the video. The views aren't great. Earlier views were good. We manually posted these videos, and the views were fine. But as we start
scheduling videos, the views aren't that great. We do not know the
relation between scheduling videos versus views, but at least it should
give you an idea. So as long as it is possible, we suggest you to post
the videos manually, at least once in
a while and make sure to have regular
updates on your YouTube. Best a flock for your

5. How to upload YouTube Shorts from PC?: Greetings everyone. In today's video, we will quickly
learn how you can upload YouTube shirts
using your PC. So what is YouTube shirts? Youtube shirts is a way
for anyone to connect with a new audience using just a smart phone and the
camera in the YouTube app. However, in this video, we will be uploading YouTube
shirts using the PC. Now you must be wondering
why to upload shirts. Well, YouTube is
pushing shot videos. Thus, its algorithm works
better giving you more views, especially if you
are a new channel, it might help to get more
views and more subscribers. But there are some criterias to follow before uploading
the YouTube shirts. First thing, your video
must be below 60 second, it must be vertical and must
be a minimum resolution of 600 by 600 and a maximum
of 1080 by 1080. Of course, you must
use your own content. You cannot use other
copyright materials. Anyway, I have already
created a short video. You can see the resolution. It is 608 by 1080. This video was actually captured using the
iPhone recording. Just a reminder, your video should be
less than 60 seconds. And when you import the video to an editing software
like I use Camtasia, let me actually add
the video on it. Make sure the resolution of
your SWOT video are correct. Did not choose
higher regulation. If you make it 1920 by 1000 AT, with black background,
then uploaded, that will not be continuous
shots for this video, the size is 608,080, which is perfectly fine. These sites are actually empty. Anyway. After editing, all the videos, have all the custom thumbnail and the text ready on the decks. Make sure to add hashtags, shots on title and description. This is not absolutely
necessary but recommended. Now, uploading shots
is exactly the same as you would
upload other videos. Open Youtube.com,
click on create, and upload a video. Select files. Let me choose a video. Add the title and description which I
have already prepared. Upload the custom thumbnail. These thumbnails
will only appear in the PC for mobile phones, YouTube will
automatically pick it up. If you have a playlist, you can add the video to it. Not made for kids. Show more. Let me add some tags. So all done. Click on Next. On monetization. I will turn it on
and click on Done. Please note, ads will appear when videos
are seen and mobile, but if it is found on PC adds
may appear you to do have a 100 million allocated for sought video makers
on ads suitability. Choose none of the above
and some iterating. Next. Add an end screen. Jews use accordingly. And save. At cards. Choose the videos and save. Let me choose public. So all done, and
let's publish it. After you publish the video, more to your channel. And on home, scroll down. And you should choose
shots over here. If you see the video here, it means it has been

add a comment with relevant other
video and pinnate. This might help to get
views on other videos. Let me also show you the analytics of our
other short video. This video did pick up in few days and later it did
not catch up that pace. I haven't earned merge on this. Maybe it was
disappeared as shots, but the views were
quite high in few days. If I click on rich, you can see most views about 86, 87 percent came from short fit. So you know, when you
have a new channel, these shots can be
really helpful. So we really hope

6. How to set thumbnails for YouTube Shorts: Guys, here is how you can say thumbnails to YouTube shots. So this is our shots. Make sure the dimension of
the short videos are correct. Here the width is 66
and ight 2080 pixels, and make sure the video
length is less than a minute, 58 or 59 seconds. Anyway, so this is the
cover I want to use. Unfortunately, like full videos, you cannot upload a separate
thumbnail for shots. Instead, we can only choose thumbnl from
the video itself. So let's add this thumbnl
to this shot video. You can use any editing
software. I use Kemptsa. L et me imput the video
and imput the cover. I want the cover to be
less than a second, adjust accordingly
and put the video. This is done. Now, this
is our final shots, and if I open this,
the thumbnail is on the shot video itself. Now let's upload it. Go to two and upload it. Select files and upload it. Give your title, write your
descriptions, tags, et cetra. Here, you cannot
choose thumbnail. Instead, you will need
to use a mobile app. As you can see, it
is stated here too. Before switching to the mobile, let me complete the video, add suitability video elements, checks, and invisibility, I will leave it as it is and
simply close this. The video is saved as t. Now open the Tube mobile app
and add the thumbnail. So I'm on my mobile, Let me open the YouTube
web and not White Studio. Make sure you are
signed in. Tap here. In here, you can
see your videos, tap on it, and tap on shots. And you can find
the draft video. Tap on these three
dots and tap on edit. And you will see this P icon. Tap on it, and you can choose the
thumbnail from the video. So I will choose this, tap here. So everything has been
done from the PC, and now you can upload the
shots from your mobile. I will save this for now. This is saved, and you can use the PC to publish or
make further edits. By the way, you can directly upload shots from the App too. Tap on this plus icon. Choose the video from the
gallery, done. Tap here. Next, tap here, and you can choose a thumbnail
cover from the video. Fill out other details and upload shots directly
from the mobile app. Also, if I switch to PC, and if I go to shots, you can see the
cover has been set. By the way, if you cannot
see the pin icon on the app, it might mean there is a country restriction
from YouTube. Or else this works all

7. Video not uploading as YouTube Shorts from PC: Greetings everyone. In today's video, we will quickly see
y-you videos uploaded from a PC is not uploaded
as YouTube shirts, but as a regular video. So basically from this, which is not a YouTube shots, do this or YouTube shots. Let's get started. We can upload videos from PCS, YouTube shots if we meet all the criteria for
the shots requirement that is below 60 seconds and
1080 by 1080 dimensions. Here I have a video that I want to upload
as shots from BC. The video dimensions looks good. Let's try to upload
it to YouTube. Go to youtube.com,
create and upload video. Select files. You can add the respective
title and descriptions. Let me wait, delay the
processing is finished. As you can see, this video has not been uploaded as shots. You can simply see it
by the link from here. Shots video we'll have slash shots mentioned are simply click on this link and see if it has been uploaded
as shots or not. Now let's figure out why this video was not
uploaded as shots, but they're regular video. If you right-click
on the video and go to Properties and go to details. You can see the frame width
is above 1080, that is 1920. While frame height is fine for a video to
quantify as shots, the width must be below 1080. Let's quickly edit this
video to make it a U2 shots. Let me open Camtasia or open the video
editor tool you use. Anyway, drag the
video to Camtasia, right-click and go
to Project Settings. You can see the dimensions
are not correct for shots, let me choose Custom and
use frame width as 608. Make sure it's below
1080 by 1080 and apply. The videos dimension has
been corrected for shots. You can see this is
the correct size. Adjust your video
as accordingly, just makes sure that the
width is below 1080. Let me explore the video. Let me close them all. Here is our edited video. Let's check dimensions. It looks all good. 608 by 1080. Now let's again try to upload it on YouTube as shots from the PC. Add your title and description. Let it finish processing. Now you can see the video
is being uploaded as shots. You can see the
shots links here. If you click on
the link, you can, as we'll see, it has
been uploaded as shots. Anyway, this is how you
can upload shots from PC. And by the way, this video has also been uploaded as
