1. Welcome: First of all, I want to take a moment and thank you guys for a rolling in discourse. My name is Neil's. I am from Belgium, and I started last year in October with the translation and copyrighting accounts on the fiber platform. In this course, I want to get you familiar with platform so you can get started as a freelancer the right way. We will be using proven strategies and goats off tips and tricks. I wish I knew before I got started. In this course you will learn tree main things First, this out set up a profile that in folks stressed to your Pires second thing is out to write a killer description for your case. And the third thing is how to use that quick response feature. You can communicate like a pro. I hope you enjoy this course on Let's get to it 2. Why Fiverr?: So why fiver in this video? I want to talk about the five platform and how it works and why it's so popular and why I think it's it's the best platform to start out freelancing. What is fiber? You can think of fiber as an Amazon marketplace for digital serves, you can basically sell every kind of creative technical digital service you can think of. You can sell those services at a variety of price bones so you can attract customers and bias with basically any budget. What's the beauty of five of the beauty of fiber is that you don't need to worry about marketing because five or will promotes rancor cakes if you do well so you don't waste time hunting jobs or losing time with searching for new clients. The platform based on how good you do will provide you with opportunities for customers. Getting paid is also processed. True platform. So no hunting for payments if a gay Ghous complete. If an order is complete, you get your money in two weeks time, so it's very well handled by the platform. Also, customer support. If there's a problem between you and a customer with an order. It's all handled strewed of platform, so it gives you peace of mind so you can basically be be creative and just spend your time at doing your fleet freelancing work instead of worrying about all those side things. 3. What Service to Provide: successful in fiber. So what's unique about fiber is that, compared to other freelancing marketplaces is that you can offer literally any skill that you can think of so you don't have to be a rocket scientist or be highly skilful at something. You don't have to be a designer or a programmer or something else. You can literally sell anything like, for example, Impersonating celebrities or doing pranks. I just want to make clear that there is basically an opportunity for everyone to be successful at five. So let's have a little look at some examples what you can do. For example, video caption is very popular. It's it's pretty easy. So you will get a video, um, sweet spoken work, and you just type in what you hear and you provide the video caption. There's a lot of demand for that. There are specialized sites for that as well, but it's a nice way to start off. Your five agree. Other options are blocked posting. So if you are basically pretty good at writing, that's an easy way to get started. If you just want to be doing monkey work than data entry is also possible, so data entry. You're basically someone's virtual assistants, and you just put data in an Excel file or something, another way to start off. And that's how I started off on my account. This I'm not natively English speaking. I speak touch and from Belgium. Eso I do translations. So translations for manuals, translations for block posts, etcetera. So if you speak two languages or tree languages, you have an edge you can you can put that on as a service. 4. Setting up Your Profile: at fiber, and now it's time to set up your profile. The first thing that's important is your user name. Do something that you're proud off that you won't regret because you can't change it afterwards. The second thing is your profile. Picture you Congar 02 routes, in my opinion, the first proudest. Make it personal and do what I do and just put on a simple profile picture of yourself. If you want to sell services as a person, if you want to create a brand, for example, you can you can put in a local. If you can't design a logo there plenty off five or sellers on the platform that can make you a nice and pretty looking logo that you can use this picture. The third thing is, um, your tag line. You can use that, for example, with a quote that represents herself in your work, or you can use it. Teoh. Communicate your unique selling point. For example, your digital designer and you specialize in character design. You could use a tagline that represents your your specialty in character design. The fourth thing is the description. I tried to tell something about yourself try to present yourself in an open way on the mindset here is to be genuine and positive about your work and achievements. Why? Because we want to attract buyers and we want to be as genuine and as honest as we can be. And the same thing can be said with your skills. The the skills should represent your actual skills and the cakes you offer on dure social media accounts. And my suggestion is that you you link them. Why? Because it gives your profile even more trust for your party, so that's a good thing. 5. What is a gig?: So we just finished setting up our profile. We added a nice profile picture and the tagline. We wrote a nice interest worthy bio. We added our skills to a profile, every connected or social media. So now it's time to advocate to our account. But the first thing is what is a gig gig? Assess the specific service that you're offering. It's what customers see when they're searching for sellers to work with. Therefore, your get should tell the story of your business, and it should convince the potential customers the Georgia perfect seller for them. Basically, in a matter of moments, it should contain a description off what you offer your fixed price packages and added value packages that you provide on top of your service. 6. Creating Your First Fiverr Gig: So we made her accounts. We added a profile. We know what a gig is. It's time Teoh to post a gig. You've done some research. You know what you want to offer on my advises? Look around fiver and try to reverse engineer a successful gig. Don't choose the exact same title or description, but you something similar that, you know, is a successful gig. So in my case, I write Dutch and English articles for blow posts. So the gate title make it very simple. Make it very clear what you do. Make sure that you spell It's right, because what you write here becomes do you are well, and that's important for Seo purposes. Choose your scatter category. In my case, it's writing translation article block posts and this page. It depends on what get you. You choose, but when you're writing, you get some extra options like the languages, like the topics you provide, like the tone, your style, your article type that you write. The tags are very important. Make sure you take them correctly. Make sure you can only use five, so so make the best of it. Imagine what people are searching for and what solution your gate provides and base your tax on that. It used to be $5 only. That's why fiber is called fiber from $5. But now you have the opportunity to make packages that can apply to ah different range of customers. In my case, and my advice that I give you is a approach it from the good, better best standpoint. That means that the standard package, the middle package, is always the one that gives the best value. So in my case, I have tree economic, business and first class. You can see the prices down below. Another cool thing about fiber is that you can add some extra services to Upsell. So in my case on my extras are faster delivery. Also, the best value is in the middle tier Here. You can also add some extra options. Guys, this depends on which cake you offer, so your screen can look different from mine. In my opinion, there tree important parts off a good description for your gig. The first thing is, what you see here is you have to identify a need that potential buyers have in my case, good content, so I provided that here. So use that the need for good accountant as my stepping stone for my gig. And the second part is you just repeat what you said in the pricing so that the customer can can read what you're offering in detail and the thirds and most important step is a call to action. Make sure that you end with a call to action away for the customer to response and to to get him to buy your cake. The next part is, you can add frequently asked questions. If you see that you get a lot of the same questions about some of your cakes or your profile, you can add them here. So the next step in creating our gig is two provides what we need to get the job started. So in my case, I rights block articles. So it's normal for me toe. Ask my buyer for a general idea about the article, but it depends on what gay cure your offering. So, for example, when you do video kept ations, it's normal that you you require the video that you need to do that temptations for so it depends on what gay cure your offering. Be careful, though. Don't be. Don't ask too many requirements because you don't want to scare your buyer away, so just ask or just require the thing that you need to get the job started. 7. What are Quick Responses: ability to communicate fast and professional is a big deal in fiber. If you take too long to answer a message, it can have a negative effect on your response that so one way of dealing with this issue is the quick response feature. Think about how much time you would have to spend drafting unique and detailed responses that show your passion and your talent. But that's not all. Think of the messages when you deliver in order a project status updates a message that thanks your customers that this goes on. So with quick responses, you will always have a professional response. Ready. Rare of you are, and you don't have to check grammar errors each time. So with quick responses, you'll get that time back, and you can dive into sales faster in the process. 8. Set Up Quick Respones: to set up quick responses, you can click on any message in your inbox down below in your message strength you see in a quick response icon. When you click on it, you'll see a list of all your quick responses there. Some built in once, but I changed mine a long time ago. The easiest way to make one is to just change an existing one. So, for example, I can click on this one on the edit icon, and what you notice is that the user names in brackets. This means when you're communicating with a buyer, his user name automatically appears in a quick response. So this is super handy. When you want to create a brand new one, you can click again on the quick response button and then create a new quick response. So my suggestion is that you make one for it, least these situations. So the 1st 1 is when you're answering, someone wants a customer order, Thank you response when someone orders a gig, a response that you've started working on their order delivery order response and thank your response when you delivered the order and to provide a quick reminder to the buyer that they have toe upload the review, so I will do my best to link some off my quick response examples in the class notes. 9. Final Thoughts: relations. You have finished the course on how to become a successful freelance room fiber. So what are the next steps to have help you get? Your first tale is definitely recommended to ask friends or family to check out your gig. This will help you get even more social proof on your profile. Now it's time to put the skills you have learned to the test with this class project. So the first thing you have to do is start a fiver accounts and create a profile description that invokes trust. Second thing you have to do is create a gate with Gillard description up to my stacks and treat packages. And the third thing you do is share it with the community on the other members of this class. So we can all become better freelancers. Thank you so much for rolling in my first course. I have much to learn. I know I've put a lot of passion and work in this course, so I would love for you to leave me some tips and feedback. Thanks a lot
