1. Introduction: Making elegant paintings using minimal materials is something
I'm enjoying these days. Using minimal colors and simple and easy
techniques to paint. Bolster colors or something
that will give a nice, elegant matte finish
to the painting. And we are going to use only two colors for the entire class, which is black and white, basically an achromatic thing. Hey everybody, I'm
treated per day. I'm a self-taught
independent artist and an interior designer. So in this class I'll
be talking about all the materials and art
supplies that you will need. To be talking about the brushes and detail that we
are going to use. I'll be also giving
you the details about the watercolor paper
we are going to use to bolster colors,
black and white. So we're going to
cut an A5 size paper into a perfect square. I'll be teaching you
how you can cite, tape, your watercolor paper carefully so that you can get
a perfect edge. That'll be adding a nice
practice session in which we are going to learn all
the elements in detail. No need to worry at all. It's going to be really fun and interesting practice bond. So we're going to start by creating an amazing
gradient background, painting the river area. We're also going to
learn how you can paint these beautiful rock bodies on the bottom area. No
need to worry at all. We are going to create
these amazing gray shades by mixing black and
white together. We're going to add some minute beautiful details
to the painting, which will enhance your
painting even more. At the end, I'll be
teaching you how you can remove your
site tape carefully without tearing up
your watercolor paper and the brushes painting
that you have made. So without any delay, grab
your art supplies and join me. And this is going to
be a very simple, easy and elegant project.
2. Art Supplies: Hey everybody. Now let us talk about
all the art supplies that you will need for
this particular class. So here I have all my
art supplies placed. So the first one is
a simple black pen, or you can use a black marker
as well and a benzene. Now let us talk
about the brushes, which are the most important
part while we paint. The first one is a
simple flat brush. This brush is 1 " in size. No need to worry
about the brand. You can use any other
alternative as well. Now we have another tool, brushes, which are
basically detailing brush. One is of size one, Another one is of size three. So you can see how pointed
edges we are having. These are basically
round brushes. So these are the three
brushes that you will need for this
particular class. Here I have a simple steel edge. It is having measurements
in centimeters and inches. So we're going to use
this scale to cut the A5 size paper into
a perfect square. Now let us talk about the
colors that we're going to use. So we are only going
to use two colors, which is black and white, and these are both Toklas. No need to worry at all.
You will find these colors very easily in any
nearby local stationery. Now, another one,
which is simple, is all that you will need to cut the A5 size
watercolor paper. The next we have is a sample of tissue paper in which we can just dab our brushes to remove
excess amount of water. Then you'll need a simple
cup in which you can have some clean water so that
you can clean your brushes. Now in order to get
a perfect white edge while removing the site tape, you will need a masking tape. So this is basically a 1 " masking tape that we
are going to use. So next we have a
simple ceramic palette in which we are going to take out our colors and mix it with, sorry, my palette is
a little bit dirty. Then we have the
most important part, which is the watercolor papers
that we're going to use. So these are
watercolor papers from Canson and the most
important part is the GSM. So it is 300 GSM, 140 LB. And these are A5 size sheets. So we're going to cut them
into a perfect square. Let me show you
that sheet as well. So you can see this is
another rectangular form, but we're going to
make it an a squared. So these are all
the art supplies that you will need for
this particular class. No need to worry in case you're missing on any
particular art supply. You'll find them very easily
in any nearby art store.
3. Lets Practice the Elements: Hey everybody. So before we
start the final painting, Let's practice the
elements in detail so that you do not make any
mistake in your final painting. As you can see here, I have my post on the devil painting, which is looking really
amazing and elegant. And there are certain elements that we are going to practice. So you can see a beautiful gradient effect in
the background. There is a small moon. We have hose and
solid black color. We have this amazing mist
effect on the level, but we also have these
beautiful black rocks. Now one by one, we
are going to paint all these elements and
I'll be making you learn how you can paint
them very easily. So here I have a
simple A5 size sheet, which is basically the
watercolor paper that I showed you in the art
supplies section. And I have given a nice
heading of practice sheet, painting, four
important elements that we have in our painting. What we're going to do is that
we are going to start with the gradient effect in the background, which
is in this guy. Here I have my two colors, which are postdoc colors, basically black and white. To color the entire painting, you will only need
these two colors. Initially, we will need a
simple flat brush off 1 ". As you can see, we are going to apply a thin coat
of water initially. You can see I have my
practice paper ready, just simply the PR flat
brush and water and apply a small thin code and applying it in a
smaller area of the paper. Just to show you
how we can create these amazing gradient effect. You can see at the area
where I have applied water, There's a nice shine of light. In case you find that the
water is a little bit more, you can just wipe it
off using your brush. As you can see, we have a
nice thin coat of water being applied on
the right-hand side of the practice paper. Now I've taken some
solid black color and we are applying it
on the top portion. The first patch is a
solid black color. Then we are going to
mix it with some white and try to make a
nice tone of gray. You can observe the
color palette I'm adding a little bit of white. No need to worry if you do
not make an exact shade, we just have to
make a gray shade. So what happens at times, students asked me that we are not able to create
the exact shade. It is not at all
compulsory to make the exact shade art is
not something like that. You can have some minor
differences as well. It is absolutely fine. You can see I have made a
nice random gray shade and I have applied it in just below the darker patch on black. Now you can see that that
is a nice difference between solid black color
and a little bit of gray. Now what we're going to do, just simply dab your brush
on the tissue paper and just try to blend the dark black and gray that you
have applied below it. So there won't be any
line of difference. Now will be taking some
solid white color. You can observe
the color palette. I have simply taken some
solid white color in my flat brush and I'm applying it in just below
the grey layer now. So now you can see there is a thin line of difference
between the gray and white. Again, we'll simply dab the flat brush on the
tissue paper to make it dry and clean and will
blend it with the gray. But now you can see there is no
line of difference between black to white area. It's not an exact white that is a little
bit of gray in it, but it is absolutely fine. You can see how beautiful
the gradient effect looks. So now we have our different
shade of gray for the area. So you can simply make a nice different color of
shade for this river area. So what I'm doing is
on my color palette, you can just simply
observe that I have tried to add some
white and gray together. And I have just simply made a stroke just below
the gradient event. In case you find it
a little bit darker, we can add some more
light to it as well. I'm just trying to make a difference between the
skyline and the river. I've taken some solid white
color and I'm adding it to the patch so that it becomes a little bit
more lighter in tone. So as you can see, we have
created a nice patch Modibo. Let me make another
batch as well. So I have taken some more
white in my palette. I'm adding it on the gray part so that
it becomes a little bit more lighter to the shape that we have in the
final painting. Basically. Don't get
worried in case you're not able to make the
correct and exact shade. It's aren't, don't take
it that seriously. So somehow we have
reached the same shade. Now. I'm just cleaning
my flat brush. So whenever I tried to create a practice sheet or any
people on which I practice, I always try to label it. So W stands for white, which is on the bottom part, not an exact white, but
a little bit grayish. On the middle we have written g, which is gray, and
on the top part, black, which shows you the gradient effect with
the color that we have. Just give a nice labeling
on the bottom part, which is gradient effect. And it also gives
me a little bit of satisfaction when I create these types of practice
sheets, basically. Okay, so now let us move
towards the next part, which is going to be the
beautiful river batch, which is just below
the gradient effect. So I'll give it number two. And we're just going to give it a labeling of river patch. So we are done with the
background patches, which is the gradient
effect and the level patch. Now, let us move
towards the heels and the rock bodies that we have
in this particular painting. No need to worry at all. This is the most easy part
in this particular painting. So I'm having my simple pencil. I always suggest students to draw a rough sketch basically, so that you get an exact
idea where you have to fill the color in case that you are very much
confident enough to paint it directly
with your brush, then that is also fine. But if you are a
beginner, then I would definitely suggest
that tried to draw it with pencil so that you
get the exact shape first and then you can fill
the solid color inside it. Now, let me draw two more hills just below the bigger hill, which is pointed basically. You can get an exact
idea how to draw them and no need
to worry at all. It is not supposed to be exact same as you can see in
my particular painting. Dry it in a natural way. I have my detailing brush of size three and in
my color palette, I'm taking solid black color. Let me show you how you can use this beautiful
detailing brush to give a color patch
to your heads. So I have made three strokes you can see using the brush and the pointed strokes will help you to fill the color
inside the hill. Now once you're done
with the outline area, you can just fill
in the entire Hill. ****, some amount of water, but not that much also, it will make your color
a little bit lighter in tone to try to have more
of solid black color, so that looks more
dense and darker tone. Now you just have to simply
follow the same procedure. I'm just trying to add solid
black color inside the hill. So now after painting
the entire Hill black, what we're going to do is
that we are going to use this theme detailing
brush oxides three, which is basically
a round brush. I have simply cleaned it up
in the water as you can see, and you have to dab it on the tissue paper so that you remove excess amount of water, try to make it dry enough. And now we are just
simply going to rub it between the white and
the black portion. As you can see, you
just have to rub the dry brush or you can just absorb the moment I'm
trying to blend it. If you feel that
that is a little bit of water in your brush still, you can just make it a
little bit more dry by dabbing it into the tissue paper and try to rub it
as much as you can. You can see that is a nice blend between the white area and you are just trying to make it
a little bit more smoother. The more you rub
it on the paper, the more good result
you will get it. So this is how you can make a nice mist effect in between
the hills and the devil. Now we have smaller hills
on the bottom part. Let us paint that as well. So the technique is
absolutely same. You just have to take some solid black color in
your color palette. Use your detailing
brush and you can see I'm using the tip
of my detailing brush, which is very much
pointed to paint the red, it is very much pointed. Now one thing that I always
tell my students to do is that whenever you are
going to have final painting, and if you find that you're
not that much confident enough to move towards
the final painting. Want you can do
is you can always take a rough scrape off people first tried to practice the elements and all
the details in that. And then move towards
your final painting. It will definitely decrease
the chances of mistakes. Now finally we have the rock
body on the bottom part, which is in that level. So you can just make
a nice random shape. As you can see, I'm
using my pencil. I've made two amazing
natural drugs. So no need to worry, don't
take it that seriously. No need to have the
exact rock shape that I'm having in my
particular painting. I've just drawn a random shape and I'll be filling it
with solid black color, as you can see, using the same detailing
brush of size three. Let us paint another
rock as well. Just try to paint
the outline first and then fill in the
solid color inside. Now once we are done painting
the entire solid color, we are going to repeat
the same process. I'll be cleaning my
detailing brush, dab it on the tissue
paper as much as you can so that Ax is amount
of water is removed. Your dry detailing
brush will give you this beautiful mist effect that we give in
the hill as well. Time just trying to make
a nice shadow effect. You can see I'm just
trying to blend it with the white paper background
and the solid black color. In the final
painting, we will be having the background
color gray, but here we have light
that is absolutely fine. You can see we have this
amazing mist effect. It looks really amazing in the final painting when
we are going to do it. This is how we are going to paint the rocks and
the final painting. Let me label it so that it
looks even more beautiful. I have given some model
labelings to the rock. Now let us add some minute
details to enhance the rocks. So what we're going
to do is I'm going to take my size one
detailing brush, which is basically
a round brush only. And we are going to have
some solid white color. Using these beautiful strokes, we are going to
enhance the rock. I'm just making these little
strokes using white color, solid white color basically. You can see how
beautiful it looks. Some sort of gives a nice
reflection of the moonlight. There is no particular
way of doing this. You can do it in a
very natural way. No need to do the
exact same way I'm doing it is just to give you an idea how we have
to add details. Now you can see that we
are almost done with all the elements that we have in this
particular painting. And you can see the sheet
looks really beautiful at some sort of gives me a lot of satisfaction when I practice. We have one last element that we are going to paint right
now, which is the moon. So I have taken my detail, brush on size one
and let me show you this in the gradient
background only. You just have to take
solid white color and your detailing brush and
try to make a C-shape. Let's see, shape should
be pointed on the edges and a little bit of solid color in-between,
as you can see. Let me paint it one more time. You can practice this on a rough sheet of
paper initially, and then you can come to
your final painting so that you do not end up spoiling
your background color. So when we are done practicing all the elements that we have in this
particular painting. Now, let us move towards
the final painting.
4. Lets Cut the Paper: Hey everybody, now
let us cut the paper, which is very important part for this particular painting. So here I have my A5
size watercolor paper, which is basically a 300 GSM
and one quanti LB paper. Now the painting is having
basically a square format, so we're going to cut it
into a perfect square. So as you can see, I
have my steel edge, which is having dimensions
in centimeters. So now let us measure
the smaller side force, which is 15
centimeter basically. So what I'm going to do
is that I'm going to mark 15 centimeter on
the longer side as well, so that it becomes
a perfect square. I have pointed one
simple point using my pencil at 15 centimeter
on the longer side, let us point 1 mol dot so that we get an exact parallel line. Now once you draw the dots, what you are going
to do is just try to place you're still alleged
matching the dance. And we are going to
draw a simple line, which is going to be bad a
little to the side edge. As you can see, we've got
a nice perfect square. Now using a pair of scissors, we're going to cut
the remaining part. You can use a Katara as well, but I would suggest
uses scissors so that you can follow
the line carefully. Simply just use a pair of
scissors and follow the line. Tried to cut it in an
exact and perfect way. And I have removed
the additional part. You can see the watercolor
paper is ready, I'm having a perfect square. Now let us move
towards the next part.
5. Lets Tape the Paper: Hey everybody. Now let us take the
watercolor paper size. You can see I have my
watercolor paper ready, which we have, cut it
into a perfect square. Now in order to get a
nice bite side edge, we are going to use our
masking tape of 1 ". As you can see, we are going to place it on the top
portion initially. So you can see I have a
nice piece of masking tape. Try to place it in a parallel way to the
watercolor paper. As you can see,
have some edge of the masking tape on the watercolor paper and
some on the background, whatever you are having, your drawing board or anything. And just make sure that the tape is placed parallel
to the paper edge. Because when you
will remove this, I think it should look
perfect frame. Pleased. Another tape on the bottom path. Now, let us place the masking
tape on the right side. I'm trying to align it with
the paper edge and just place your thumb on it so that it gets stuck to the
watercolor paper perfectly. Now let us place the last
masking tape on the left side. Make sure that your masking tape is perfectly stacked with the watercolor paper that will definitely give you best
results by you remove it. And we're done. Now, let us
move towards the next step.
6. Painting the Background: Hey everybody, now let
us paint the background, which is the most amazing part for this particular painting. So as you can see,
my watercolor paper is ready. When does IT? I have a cup of water, my mixing palette,
and a tissue paper. We're going to use white and black only for this
particular painting. Now, let us start
painting the background. I have plus symbol pencil to
separate the horizon line. So just simply take your pencil and make
a horizontal line. And between the papal. Make it a little bit
lighter only because you just want it for
your own reference. Now, I have my
flat brush of 1 ". As you can see, we are going
to use this flat brush to apply a thin coat of water
in the background for sky, what we're going to
do is just simply dip your brush in water. As you can see, we are going to apply a thin coat of water. No need to worry at all. You just have to meet these little horizontal strokes on the background
as you can see. And also make sure
that you do not apply access amount of
water in the background. That will definitely
spoil your painting. You just have to maintain
the capacity of water and also make sure that there is
no space left in-between. I have applied a nice
thin coat of water. As you can see. You can already see there are no water
pools in-between. No need to hurry a doll, do it very carefully, make sure that there
is no space left. Now, in case you remember, we had the remaining part of the watercolor paper
that we just cut it on that let me show you the darker patch of land that we are going
to apply initially. In my flat brush, I have
a solid black color. So just apply a nice
horizontal stroke on the top portion. Make sure there is no space left between the masking tape
and the watercolor paper. As you can see, we have applied a nice solid black coat
on the top portion. Now we are going to
make a nice gray color. So in case you are missing out on how to
create the gradient effect, you can always go to,
let's practice elements. There. I have showed
everything in detail how you can make all the
elements in detail. I've added some white. You can observe my
color palette and you can see we have got
a nice gray tone. Time just adding a little bit of motor torque is
more than the color, but make sure that there
isn't access amount of water. Now, again, I'll be making a horizontal stroke just
below the black color, using the gray tone. Applied as much as you can, make sure that there is
no space left in-between the solid black color and a gray tone that
you have applied. Now, dam beyond flat brush on
the tissue paper to remove excess amount of water and
blend it with black color. In case you are not
that much confident enough to paint it directly
to the final painting. What you can do is you can
practice it on a landscape of paper first and then come
to your final painting. Now, again, observed
in my color palette, I have taken some nice
solid white color because the gradient effect is to
be from black to white. You can see we have
made another tone, which is a little
bit gray matter. It has to be having
more light in it. I'm giving a nice
horizontal stroke just below the gray badge. As you can see, there is a nice difference between the
top and the bottom portion. Now we are going to blend the whitish tone
with the gray color. So what I'm going to
do is I'm going to dab it on the tissue people to remove excess amount of water and blend it
with the gray color. That is then behind doing
this is that it gives you a nice seamless effect and a gradient effect will
look even more better. When you do this. You can observe the color change from
black to the white area. Now you must be thinking, why did we applied a thin
coat of water initially? So the reason behind
that is very simple, so that you can move your brush ready smoothly and carefully. In case you apply
the color directly, it will definitely give you a rough movement of your brush. That's why it is important to apply a thin coat
of water initially. And that is basically known
as a baton wet technique. Now, let us paint the double. I'm just making
another tone of gray. Observed my color palette. I have added a little bit of
water to loosen the cholera. Now I'm trying to make a
different shade of gray. No need to worry at all in
case you're not able to make the exact shade
that I'm making. You can create your
own shades as well. That is what I suggest. You can see it
looks a little bit different from the
above gradient effect. Let us try it on the
dock scrap of paper. Yeah, it is a little
bit different. So now we're going
to paint the repo. So I'm adding a little bit
of water so that we can move our brush more
smoothly and carefully. Just apply a nice horizontal
stroke just below the horizon line so that
you can have a difference between the skyline and
the order is in line. This time we are not
having a gradient effect, we're just having a solid color, so no need to worry, you can apply it the way you want to, but just try to make
horizontal strokes. Don't think vertical
strokes in-between, that will not give
you a nice output. And also try to be very
much slow way there is the horizon line so that you get a nice effect horizontal line. That'll be adding a
little bit of white to make the river area a
little bit more vibrant. You can see in my color palette, I have taken some white and
having the same flat brush. I'm just adding it about
the layer of the gray. And you can see how
beautiful it is looking. Similarly, we are
just moving towards the bottom portion is going to be a solid color
only for the revolt area, because we are going to
create a nice mist effect. Becomes a little bit more
lighter tone in gray. And we are done painting
the entire area as well. You can see that is
a nice difference between those sky
area and the level. The sky area looks
truly amazing with the gradient effect
from black to whitish. And river area is having
a solid color patch. Now, let us move
towards the next part.
7. Painting the Hills: Hey everybody, now let
us paint the hills. While the particular
painting, as you can see, we are ready with the
background and the logo area. So I have my symbol pencil
and we are going to draw a rough sketch for
the bigger hill, basically which we
have in the painting. So no need to worry at all. You just have to create these pointy strokes and create
a natural form of a hill. And there is one
more smaller hill just on the right side
of the bigger headed. So we are also making that. One thing I would
like to tell you is that no need to worry at all. You just don't have to, right? In the same way that
I haven't drawn. You can draw it in your
own natural way as well. Just try to follow the steps. And also in case you're not
that much confident enough to draw it directly on this
beautiful painted background. Then what you can do is just take a rough scrape off paper. Or you can go to the
practice session where I have explained
everything in detail, how to paint these elements that have given
nice rock bodies, also on the yellow portion, and some nice smaller
rocks as well. Let us draw some more
rocks on the right side. And we're almost done. So you can see, I've
used the pencil, so it is just for
your reference, no need to draw it that darker. So here I have my
detailing brush of size three and we're going to
take some nice solid color, solid black color
basically in it. And the first shade, which is a solid black color, we are going to take that. The reason behind taking
black is that it will give a nice contrast with the background and the ****
will look really elegant. In my color palette, you can see I have some solid black color and I have taken a little bit of water to loosen the cholera. I'll be using the tip of
my detailing brush too, into the difficult areas, which is the point
D. So the N dy, the hill is going to be
a solid black color. So what I would
suggest is that let us paint the outline area
for us so that we can just make a nice outer border for the hills
carefully and slowly. We can fill the solid
black color inside. Make sure that you fill the solid black color
carefully and you do not leave any area
in-between that will not make your headlights
look beautiful. So as you can see,
I'm just trying to fill in the solid
black color carefully. Now one thing that
I always suggest my students is that
in case you find painting any
particular element or any particular painting style
using the brush techniques, you can simply use a
rough strip of paper or an art journal on which you practice
on a regular basis. And you can practice this
particular thing on that first, and then you can come
towards your final painting. By doing this, you can always minimize the chances
of mistakes. Now we are just simply going
to follow the same process by filling in the solid
black color inside the hill. So now we're done painting
the entire hill and you can see a solid black color
in the entire Hill, which is looking really amazing. Now I'll be just cleaning
my detailing brush and dab your brush
on the tissue paper. As you can see, that
we are just removing excess amount of water from it and we want a dry
brush basically. Now we will be starting
blending it the level area. So you just have to simply
clean your detailing brush carefully and make sure that
there is no water inside. This is an absolutely
dry brush and we just have to make this particular
circular movement. Or you can just rub the
detailing brush carefully. And you can already see that is a nice blend between the
river area and the mountain. I can see the hill and we just have to spread it on
the bottom potion. Do it very carefully and in Oslo space so that you do
not end up making a mistake, are spoiling your background. So eventually what will
happen is that the movement, you'll start blending your brush with the background and
you will start rubbing it. You'll observe that there
is an amazing shade forming and you'll find it as a mist effect near the river. So let me just repeat the
entire technique for you all. What I have done is that I have taken the detailing brush. I have cleaned it up in
the bowl where we have clean water and simply tap it on the tissue paper so that
n becomes completely dry. There shouldn't be any water in your brush and just
make sure about that. And you have to simply
make these rough moment. Basically, these are so
kiddo moments if you see and you have to blend
it with the background, you can see how beautiful
the effect is looking. It might happen that for the first few times you
won't be able to do this. So what you can do is that
you can just simply take our draft scrape off paper
and take the detailing brush. Use the tip of the
detailing brush to make these beautiful hills as
I'm making right now. This is also a simple graphs
group of people only. You can just make a
nice rough, hilly area. No need to be that
much specific. This is just for
practice session. Now once you find
that the hills are looking in that proper shape,
what we're going to do, just simply going
to clean the brush, dab it on the tissue paper, make sure that that isn't
any water in the rash. Take your time. No
need to hurry at all. Now what I'm going to do is
that I'm going to rub it on the area just below that is. So now the process
is completely same. Just the dry brush
will help you to make the beautiful mist
effect may dabbing it. So since that is this
white background right now because it's a rough scrape
off PayPal instead on that. And the final painting,
we are having this grayish tone for the level. I hope that you got a perfect
idea of how you have to create these beautiful
hills with effect. Or we can say fog effect. Now in case, since you'll
find it very difficult to do, what you can do is
you can go to the, let's practice all the
elements session and you'll learn how to paint all the elements
in detail there. So now let me paint
another hill which is just on the right side, which is a little bit smaller. The technique is going
to be absolutely same. So what we are going
to do, we're going to take solid black color. And I'll be using the tip of my detail brush to paint
the difficult areas. In case you find me painting
a little bit faster, what you can do is you can
just simply slow down. There is an option below. Now again, I'll be
creating them as defect. I have cleaned my
detailing brush. I have guided by dabbing
it on the tissue paper. And we're repeating
the same process. While you will be filling the solid black
color in the hose, make sure that no spaces left. At times what happens is the paper is generally
porous in nature. But once you applied
a nice solid batch to the color and
when it dries up, it might give you white spots,
which actually happens. But it's good at times. It will also give some sort of natural effect to
your mountains. So it is fine. Now let us paint the rocks which are
in the front portion. And again, the metal
is absolutely same. We are going to apply
the color solid batch. So what I'm going
to do is I'm just applying it in sequence. I'm trying to apply it
from the upper portion and I'm coming towards
the bottom area slowly. You can see I'm trying to
fill each and every area very carefully so that there
isn't any space left. I have simply fast and I'm WE DO so that we can
consume some time. In case you find me painting
a little bit faster, you can definitely slow it down. There's an option below, so you can slow down
the frame date. We're just simply adding this beautiful
solid black color. And you can see how
naturally I'm moving my detailing brush and
no need to worry at all. What happens is that rocks are generally having
natural shapes. So in case you think
that you have to paint it in the exact same
way I'm painting. It's not a doll compulsory. You can create your own
natural shapes as well. We have painted the
rocks on the front area. Now, let us paint the rocks
that are on the river. Or we can say in the river. I'm just trying to put
the color on the outline. You can create some
amazing natural shapes. Then you can also
observe the movement of my detailing brush sided. Be really honest
with all of you that this particular painting is having these rocks in a very
random and natural shapes. I haven't fully decided that
I'll make it held only. So you can also accordingly
arrange the wrong. Let's try to make it
a little bit more aesthetic and you can try
to experiment it as well. Now, let us create the mystify. The process is absolutely seen. I have cleaned my
detailing brush and dry it up on the tissue paper and
slowly start rubbing it with the river on the bottom portion so the shade is completely visible
as you can see. I also know lambda
difficulty is going to blend the colors together in case
you find it difficult. Definitely you have to practice it on a landscape of paper. And then you are going to come towards your final painting. I'm kind of very much liking the way the mixed-effect looks. And this is something you are
definitely going to enjoy while you are going
to do it by yourself. Now we are almost done painting
the house and creating the beautiful mist effect
on the entire painting. I'll be adding a little bit
of color in case you find it a little bit lighter
in tone. And we're done.
8. Adding Details: Hey everybody. So let us add some beautiful details to the hills and the rocks
that we have painted. So here I have my detailing
brush of size one, and this is basically
a round brush. So you can see how
beautiful it has. Now we're going to add
some beautiful details. So you can see in
my color palette, I have some amazing
solid white color and I'll be taking it
in my detailing dash. So adding the details is
not at all difficult. You just have to make these little thin lines
using your detailing brush. And I'm just going to
apply it on the outline of the rocks that we have
painted on the front area. This is not at all difficult. Just follow the line. You have this beautiful
outline for the black color. No need to worry, you
can do it and I'll randomly tried to make
these rough strokes. Also don't try to make
it in a complete line. You can have it in broken form. As you can see. I'm adding it on the
above ocean as well. You can see how beautifully
the white line enhances the mountains and the rocks
in the front portion. Similarly, we'll be
adding some more white to the rocks
that are smaller. I'm just adding these
little white strokes. The process is
absolutely saying just make sure that you
use the tip of your detailing brush rather than using it in a complete way. I'm just making these thin
lines in this random format. And trust me, it is
very satisfying. And you can see how the
rocks have got enhanced with the misty background
that we have created. So we are almost done adding
these little white details. So now I have taken some
more white color and just dab your brush
on the paper. You can dab it on
the tissue paper. And yeah, just adding
this rough stroke to make a textured effect on the rogue body
in the front area. So this is just to make
it a little bit more detailed and give it a
little bit of 3D effect. No need to do it in
a very massive way. We're just going to apply
it on smaller portions. That's added on the rock
on the center as well. We are almost done
adding all the details. So I hope that you
enjoyed and learned something new by creating
these beautiful details. Now let us move
towards the next bond.
9. Painting the Moon: Hey everybody. So let us add the last element which is painting the moon. As you can see, the entire
painting is completely ready. I have my detailing
brush of size one, and I have taken some
solid white color. Now to add the moon, you have to be very
much careful and try to be very much precise
while painting the moon. To just have to simply
make a V-shape carefully. As you can see, I've
made a beautiful fishy. Now on the tips, it
has to be very much Shan and you have to apply solid color to make it a little bit thicker on the between ADR, I would say the center part. Now, in case you're not
that much confident enough to paint the moon
directly to the final painting. What you can do, use
your simple pencil, draw it first and then color it. Or rather than practice it on a rough scrape
off paper first, and then come towards
your final painting. We are done painting
the moon and the entire painting is ready. So I hope that you've got
to learn something new and creative from this
particular elegant painting, which we have completely
painted with postdoc colors. And it gives an
amazing the effect of gouache colors as well. We simply removing
the site to be very much careful while
removing the side tip. Try to remove the
tape and an angle so that you do not end up tearing
your watercolor paper. And you can see how beautifully
the edges are looking. Undressed mean removing
this side tip is so satisfying that it
gives you some sort of enjoy of completion
of European team. And we are done. Now, let me take you a little
bit closer to the painting. I hope that you've got
to learn something new from this
particular painting. And I'm very, very happy to share this
class with all of you.
