1. Introduction: From the moment I started
setting goals correctly, my entire life changed. And it's not because
I'm some great special, unique person. I'm
perfectly normal. However, even the average
normal individual, if they have the skills
and the Craig strategies, they can accomplish
incredible things. And this video is
all about that. I'm going to teach you
everything that I've learned about those skills, those strategies,
how to apply them. Very simple step-by-step guide. I will walk with you
the whole process of helping you set
these goals in a way that will allow you to
accomplish them and achieve incredible
things in your life. This class is great for anyone
who maybe you know what you want and you want to find the best way to accomplish that. Or it's incredibly
influential for those of you who maybe have not defined what you want to accomplish yet and you
don't know where to start. You want to go somewhere, but you don't know
how to even begin. Maybe you don't even know
what your interests are. Don't worry, this entire class is going to cover all of that. It's going to walk you
through the whole process. I'll be right there
giving examples. We're gonna go through multiple
examples of setting goals for myself and the
whole process. So you will see step-by-step exactly how to do this
the whole way through.
2. Layout and Project: I want to address how we're
going to approach this, what structure we're
going to take this in. That way you get the most
out of this class possible. If you need to skip two
different parts, you can. I will say though,
I've structured this in a way that will, you will get the most
benefit by doing the exercises in the order
that they're listed. A few of the things
that you will need. There will be some
brainstorming sessions. So that depends on how fast
you do that or how much, you know, maybe you
already know what you want to accomplish,
maybe don't. So that could vary, but
be prepared to take some time to think and process about what you want to accomplish, things like that. So set aside some time for
that with no distractions. That's gonna be the first thing that's very, very important. The second thing is have
a pen and a notebook, or a paper or
something to write on. Tactile is gonna be
really important. So the kinesthetic feeling
of the paper and the pen, I'll discuss this later,
but it is really, really powerful in lodging that inside of your
mind and helping you to facilitate ideas and
creativity in solving that. So it's really important
that you actually physically write
these things down. So I have a pen or pencil
and some paper to write on. I prefer a notebook
just that way because you're going to be
referring back to this. So it's good to have it all
in one place if you can. The last thing you
need is an open-mind. The exercises in this, when you first hear them, you could just be like, why would I why would I do that? But just trust me on this this this process has helped thousands upon
thousands of people. Even if you don't
understand the exercises, try to approach it with an
open-mind, at least try it. It's not like you're going to
waste a whole lot of time. Worst-case scenario,
you're going to waste a little bit of your time. Best-case scenario,
you're going to accomplish things in your life
that you never dreamed of. Way those two options, figure
out how much you want to invest and we'll go from there. I used to have
goals and I would, I would do them
very incorrectly. And that's why I didn't
achieve anything. In this class, we're
going to discuss the key things that
prevent people from accomplishing their
goals and also then practical strategies and
methods of what to do, how to accomplish your goals. And a little bit later on
after some of the strategies, we're going to discuss how to, how to LOD these goals in your subconscious
mind so that it is constantly working on your goal and pushing
you in that direction, even without you realizing it, even while you're sleeping. And when I first heard this, I was skeptical is like
how does that work? Don't worry. I'll
explain all of that. It'll make complete
sense to you. And it's a really, really powerful strategy
that a lot of people miss. And for myself, I would say that was a huge part
of achieving my goals. And then we're also
going to discuss values and belief systems. Because a lot of people, they miss this in the
setting up of their goals and values and beliefs need
to tie in with your goals. If they don't, your goals will fail before you
even get started. So this is a very important part that I'm gonna cover
right at the beginning. And I want to make sure that
you clearly understand that. And then we're going
to have a project for this class that I'll
discuss a little bit later. But it's going to be basically taking everything that
we learned from today, putting it into a system or putting it into like writing
it out here on my goals, here are the things I
want to accomplish in the next year or whatever
timeline you decide. And then we're going to
take that and we're gonna post it in the comments. Or I'll create another
location for it. There'll be instructions for that down in the
project section. And we're all here to
learn from each other. We're all here to offer
advice and to help each other along our way of accomplishing what we
want to accomplish. We're here to
support each other. So don't be nervous about
putting stuff down. They're asking for
feedback saying, Hey, what can I do differently? What should I change? Does this look feasible?
All those things? There will be more
instructions on that in the project
section of this class.
3. Join the Top 3%: Join the top 3%, what they don't teach
you at Harvard. To give you a little bit
of the power of goals. I want to share a study
with you about this just to get you motivated to
follow through on this. So Harvard School of Business, they did a 10-year study where they took the graduates from the MBA study program and
Harvard ask them this question. Have you clearly
written and described your goals that you
want to accomplish and a plan of how
to accomplish them. It turns out that only
3% of the graduates had clear written goals and
a plan to accomplish them. 13% also had goals, but
they were not written, they were not clearly defined, and 84% had no specific
goals whatsoever. When they graduated,
ten years later, they approached the
class again and interviewed the students to
figure out where they were. The 13% of them that had goals but they were not
written are clearly defined. We're on average
earning about twice as much as the other people in the class who didn't
have any goals. And the craziest part
about this study is the 3% that had their goals clearly
written, clearly defined, and a plan of action
were on average, earning ten times as much as
everybody else in the class. And so the challenge of this is let's be in that
top three per cent. Let's achieve these
incredible things that we can achieve if
we set our minds to it. But the question has
to be asked and I think it's worth noting is, why don't people do this? Why don't people set goals if it has this powerful of a result? So let's look at some
of these reasons, and maybe some of
these are yours, maybe without even realizing it. The first reason that a lot
of people don't set goals is they don't realize
how important it is. A lot of people have
never heard this study. They've never heard
all this stuff. They've, they're
familiar with goals like New Year's resolutions that kinda don't
really work out. So they don't really know
how important it is. Therefore, they have
no reason to do it. The second reason is that
people don't know how there's a very specific strategy and methodology to setting
and achieving goals. It's very, very simple, but if you don't have it, you're not gonna be
very successful. They think that goals
consist of make more money by the
end of the year or be happy with family, or increase my ability
to play piano. Those are not real goals, as you'll see later on. They don't know how to
properly create them. And the last two reasons
are that they have a fear of failure and they
have a fear of rejection. And these are very valid
because the fear of failure is a legitimate fear. If you don't pursue them, you'll never have to
worry about failing. And while that does
sound kind of illogical, it is accurate and a
lot of people fear failure because they've been
beaten down in the past. So if that's you step up one more time and at
least try it again. Try this method and see
if it works for you. And the fear of
rejection is also very, very valid because as you achieve these things in life
and as you move forward, you will begin moving beyond your group status of the people that are
probably now in your life, we tend to congregate with
the people that were in the same general status with and when you begin
to move above that, people usually don't appreciate that because they feel
like they're losing you. And that is something
to realize. So like for myself, becoming a full-time
YouTuber is sending me on a totally different trajectory than the rest of my family. And for a long time my family had to wrestle with that because it's like they
didn't like the idea that they might be losing me. And I needed to I needed to recognize that before
I started and say, how am I going to deal
with this when it happens? So that's a valid
fear and these will cause serious problems for
you if you don't define them. So if any of those
trigger a nerve, work on it and come to a conclusion because it's
really, really important. And there are two
things that you need to lock onto before we begin. We're, we're almost there. The first one is that you have
unlimited potential, okay? Really grasp that. Really truly understand that because you are the biggest
limiting force in your life. Second thing is take responsibility for what
you do in your life. Don't pass the blame. Don't justify things. Don't set anything up. If you take responsibility,
you are in control. And that's what the
majority of this is about, is taking control
of your life and going the direction that
you want to be going. Now where someone else
is telling you to go, not where your family
wants you to go and not where your friends
think you should go, where you are going, okay, clearly define that
because you'll never be happy following
someone else's vision. So with that in mind,
let's go ahead and jump in to values and beliefs and clearly
lay these things out because these are
so, so important. And that's why most
people's goals fail.
4. Why Your Goals Don't get "Lift Off": Okay, I know what
you're thinking. You're probably
like just teach me how to make goals already. But if I don't teach you this your goals or have a
higher likelihood of failing. This is why most people's goals
never get off the runway. They just go for a
little bit there, they lose the momentum and
then just crash and burn. So let's understand this, right? Your goals must be aligned with your values
and your beliefs. Your values determine a lot
of your beliefs that you have about yourself and about your world and
about your reality. Your value is by definition, are what is the most
important thing to you? Life, what is the
most important? And your beliefs are things in life that you are certain about. Your goals must
be congruent with your values and vice versa. It's, it's kinda like a tree. So your beliefs and your
values are the roots and your goals and all of the
results of that stem out of it. And so aligning those is
really, really important. So if you, if you determine your beliefs and
your values first, you can organize your
life out of that. And any attempt that you
have to live outside of this is going to cause a
ton of negative emotions. So anytime you are
living in a way that does not align with your
beliefs and your values, especially your values, you will experience a
lot of unhappiness. You will not succeed at
things that you care about. And you will experience
just a lot of, a lot of negative
emotions, a lot of stress. And I'm sure you've been there,
you've experienced this, but that is oftentimes a
misalignment of your values. I'm sure you're familiar with
the term limiting beliefs, which we will discuss in the
next video of how to remove those because that will stop you from achieving your goals. So I would be completely remiss if I taught
you how to do goals, but did not teach
you these other things that will stop you. They will absolutely crash
and burn your plane. So the next video,
I'll show you how to figure out what your values
are and your beliefs, and how to set new
ones and change them.
5. Values and Beliefs: Values and beliefs, key
ingredients for successful goals. Let's look at values and
let's figure out how to decide what your values are. And this is very,
very important. That's kinda like a
filter for your life. So the easiest way to do that
is to watch your behavior, especially your behavior
under pressure, both your experiences and things that have
happened in the past. And also now look back over
those times and try to define why you made those
decisions to do certain things. What was most important to
you in those situations. So what we wanna
do right now is we want to grab our
notebook and we want to write down the things that are most important to us in life. If you're not sure at
all where to start with values and moving
in that direction, I will post a link down in the project description or just the normal description
of this where there's a, I forget how many words it is, but a huge long list of character traits
and disciplines and just anything you
can imagine of what is normally most
important to people. These are things like love,
respect, accountability, discipline, that whole, there's a whole,
entire list of it. And the purpose of
it is so that you have a place to start so
you can read over it. And you say you
read down the list. Okay, That's important to me. Tag that. That's important to me and just tag what's most
important to you. Then take that list, put it off to the side,
read over that. What's most what are the top ten from this? Okay,
I take that ten. What are the top five from this? It's just that gets
the process moving, it gets the whole thing going. So if you're stuck and
you can't figure out if the question of what is
important to me is too vague, then that's a great
place to start. And if that doesn't help you and you just still don't
know where to start. Like I said, past experiences. And seeing how you react
to things is often a good, a good place to start as well. So for myself, for some
of the things that I wrote down is autonomy, growth, contribution, giving
back to other people. Relationships,
significance, love, intimacy, relationships,
respect, fulfillment. These are the things that are most important to me in life. I just made a whole
big list of them, right out at least
15 or 20 of these. And you can copy them from the list down below if you want, then what you wanna do is
you want to take them and compare them and put them in. And this will align
with your decisions and the things that are
important to you in life. When I did this, a lot of my actions suddenly
made a lot of sense. So very, very important. Let's
go ahead and define that. And if you don't go ahead
and do this exercise, it will be a little
bit harder to do the other exercises that I have. And this is probably the most time-consuming
one that I have. So it takes some time, knock this out and it
will save you a lot of time as we go further and
deeper into the course, what you believe with conviction will
become your reality. And so it's incredibly
important that we define our beliefs First, let's define our
negative beliefs. These are the things
that are restricting us. They're holding us back. Again. Grab your notebook
and just write down the first ones
that come to your mind. These may be things like
you're not good enough or I won't be loved unless
I do this or I won't. I can't find acceptance
in my family unless I'm this and this and this
define a few of them. And then what we wanna
do with that is we want to ask ourselves, what if these beliefs
were not true? How would I act
differently each day? What this is doing is it's
just challenging these beliefs because a lot of times negative
beliefs are subjective. We make them bigger
than they are. So let's challenge
them a little bit, see where they're at and tried to begin the process of working around them
and working through them. Once you define that, let's go ahead and move
on to the next step, which is acquire new beliefs. Because beliefs are
not inherently stuck. The way that they
are, they can change, they can be broken. You
can create new ones. So take your notebook again
and write down this question. If you could choose any
set of beliefs at all, any of them, which
beliefs would be the most helpful to you? And my favorite thing to tell
people in this arena it, when I'm talking to
them about this, is, remember that no one is
smarter or better than you. They are simply
better or smarter in different areas at
different times. Some of the most
powerful beliefs. So you can have it by
yourself, is that you have the capacity to learn, to grow, to change, to acquire new skills
and new things, to push through what is
difficult to be disciplined. There's so many beliefs
you can inquire. So take a little bit of time and define some of
the things that you do believe about yourself and things that you want to
believe about yourself. Because if you inherently have the belief that you will
never be successful, then this process
is going to be very challenging and
you're not going to get what you want out of it. And then look over this
list and ask yourself, if these beliefs that I want
to have are absolutely true. How would I live
life differently? What would my life look like? And just take a minute to see yourself with those beliefs. How would that change the
way you talk to people, the way you interact
with yourself, with your family, the
things you achieve, the risks you take. How would it change your
life for the better? So now that we've
clearly defined our values and our
beliefs systems, we're going to move on
to the exciting part of this whole process where we actually begin to
build our goals. So that's in the next video. And if you have not done the values and
belief systems things, please don't move on until you accomplish that
and finish it. Re-watch that
section if you want. But it's going to be really, really important for you to get the most out of this class. If you do that.
6. The 7 Keys to Successful Goal Setting: We're going to talk
about the seven keys to successful goal-setting
and accomplishment. And if you find someone who is not achieving his or her goals, it is because of a deficiency in one or several of these areas. And oftentimes they're not
doing this consciously, they simply have not learned. And so that's what
this video is about. Let's, let's learn how
to do this properly. The first key to successful
setting of goals is that they must be clear,
detailed, specific, and written down something that Tim Ferriss says that
I really like is life will punish the Vega wish
and reward the specific ask. And I think that's very, very true if you
have vague goals, vague somewhere out there
someday, maybe kind of thing. It's not going to be effective. A goal cannot be
vague or general, like make more money or be
happy or something like that. The goal has to be specific,
concrete and tangible. Something that you can
clearly see in your mind, something you can
clearly visualize and see what you're
trying to accomplish. The second key is
that goals must be measurable and objective. So for example, if
someone else was going to evaluate and
analyze your goal, it needs to make sense to them. Something like, like
I said earlier, make lots of money. That's not a goal, that's a
fantasy that everybody has. It needs to be clearly laid out. On the other hand, if you have
a very clear deadlines and specific times and
specific amounts of money that you want to make. That is a goal that
is something that is clearly measurable
and objective. The third key is
that goals must be time bound with schedules, deadlines, and sub deadlines. I've heard people say
this and I really like it that there are no unrealistic goals, only
Unrealistic timelines. We often overestimate what we can do in a short
amount of time and underestimate what we
can do in a decade, in many, many years. The other thing with
that is like if you have a clear timeline and schedule, then it keeps you on
track and it forces you to know where you're at in that and what
needs to be done. It gives you actionable
things every single day. And if you don't
accomplish your goal by the end of that deadline, then you make another
deadline and another, and another if necessary, it's not a set in stone,
It's not a failure. If you don't make
about a deadline, that is simply a best guess as when you will accomplish it
as something that you are shooting for that you're
trying to accomplish. And if you miss it, you
simply set another one. It's not like you
failed and you're done. The fourth key
that goals have to have is they must
be challenging. They need to stretch
you a little bit. If they're too easy, It's not going to
give you the sense of accomplishment and
achievement as you pursue it. Yeah, they need to stretch
you but not snap you. So a general rule
of thumb is like, it should have like a 40
or 50% chance of success. It could go either way
and you're in the middle. And it's like depending
on how hard you push on it, you will accomplish it. So this makes the process of striving towards your
goals slightly stressful. But it gives you the motivation to keep
pushing and toe stretch yourself and to grow
and learn and do what needs to be done
to accomplish it. The fifth key is that goals
must be congruent with your values and in harmony
with your beliefs. And this goes back to what
we talked about earlier. But if you, if they're
not in harmony, you, your goals will
never get off the runway. They just won't. Or if they
do and you accomplish them, you're going to get to
the end of it and say like this all there is, like, like it's not going
to bring satisfaction. The worst possible thing
you could do is to charge after this goal and achieve
it and accomplish it, and then realize that
after succeeding, it's not what you wanted. That is the worst thing
that is worse than failing and falling on your
face from the very get-go. The sixth key is that your
goals need to be balanced. So you need to find the
amount that you can invest in that while
still maintaining a fulfilled and happy life. If you swing the skills
too far in one direction, you're going to end up throwing a lot of the rest
of your life out of kilter. So it needs to be balanced with everything else that's also
happening in your life. And that kinda comes
back to the challenge. Part of it is like it has to be enough to keep
pushing you forward, but not enough to
completely break you. A lot of life entails balance and juggling of
multiple different things. And so if your goals are out of balance with the rest of
your life and your capacity, then it's going to cause for very stressful and very difficult time and
accomplishing them. The seventh key is
that you must have a major definite purpose. And this is one goal
that if you accomplish, will do more to improve your
life than any other goal, is the goal at the top. It is the one that you
need to strive for the most because it will bring about the most change in
the most growth, the most challenged, whatever it is you're
trying to achieve, it will bring about
the most level of improvement in your life. These are the parameters
for your goal. And a lot of times
people get confused by this list because
they're not sure where it fits in the process. So the best way to do this is it's kinda like a
checklist before takeoff. So you take your goal, as you'll see in the next
portion of this class. You take your goal then and you plug it into
this and you say, okay, let's go down the list. Does it fit within all
of these categories? For me, it's kind of a
period where I challenge and I test my goal a little
bit to see like, is this actually
going to work or is this in Jeopardy with any
of the things that are going to harm or cause
me to fail because of it's clearly going against
one of these things. Chances are it's gonna be very difficult to accomplish it.
7. 12 Steps to Setting and Accomplishing any Goal : 12 steps to setting and
achieving any goal you set. Goals can be boiled down
into a methodology, a recipe that you follow to achieve the same results
over and over and over. Here are the 12 steps needed to get the results
that you desire. And then what we're gonna do at the end of all this
and I'll discuss this later, is we're actually
going to go through the whole list and
plug-in a goal, multiple goals to
show you exactly my process of defining this and have going through
this whole process. And May 12 sound like a lot. It's actually not,
it's just broken down into very small increments. So if the seven keys to successful goal
was the checklist, think of this kinda
like a formula or like I said, a recipe. So you can plug in a desire,
something that you want, and work through
this process and come out at the bottom
with a achievable, actionable, step-by-step goal
process of how to do that. Or if you have no idea what
you want to accomplish. Same thing. You can approach this system
and go through the steps. And it will walk you
through how to find what you want to
accomplish or how to define your desires. So we're gonna go
through each step and define what they are. And then I'm gonna come
back through, like I said, and give you two
or three examples of what it looks like to
plug a goal into this and to boil it down
through this process to get to the point where you can actually begin achieving it. Number one, have a desire. What do you really want? This needs to be a,
a personal burning desire For your goal to
accomplish your goal. And this comes back to
the fact that it can't be someone else's goal and the part of it being personal
is really important. It has to be something
that you want. You can never want goals that someone
else wants for you and you'll never be
happy accomplishing something that's someone
else's imposing on your life, where would that someone else thinks that
you should do it, it, it has to be your own. And the question that you
asked with this is what do I really want in life? Like what? Like it'll take a while and it's
going to change. But like, what do you
really actively went? What gets you fired up? What gives you enthusiastic
and excited and passionate? And begin there if
you have no idea, you want, begin there. What are you curious about? What, what is the passion
that gets you going? Look in your past and find that. And the question
to ask with this is if you could accomplish any one goal in
the entire world. And you knew that you had a 100-percent guarantee of
success for this one goal, what one goal would that be? The intensity of your desire
is going to determine a lot of how hard you
push to get this, what energy you put into it. So like the question of what do you really want and how
bad do you want it? That needs to be a recurring
question in this first step. And you'll see when
we come back and give examples of how to apply that, how to use that with this one. Remember, don't limit yourself. Um, it's really, really
important that you don't create limitations on what
you think you can accomplish. The second step is believed
that your goal is achievable. Belief is the avenue that enables us to accomplish a lot of
our things in life. And if we do not believe
that we have the capacity or the capability of accomplishing something or learning how
to accomplish something. It will limit us in
very significant ways. And so getting to
the place where you, you either look at
something you've accomplished in your
past that you never thought you'd accomplish
or coming to a place where you break it down enough, the breakdown, your goal
or your desire to say, Oh, like, I can absolutely
accomplished this, that is really,
really important. And so digging down deep and getting to the place
where you truly believe that you can accomplish
this or that you can learn the capability of
accomplishing this is absolutely foundational to
accomplishing your goal. And the cool thing
about this is as you, as we go through this
process and as you learn how to set clear goals and you
work on them step-by-step, day-by-day, it will intensify this belief NOT gets stronger. So even if you don't
feel it right at first, it will build and it will
come, it will happen. And so that's the beautiful
thing about this, is it will start
off really gradual. Like at first it's probably
not going to feel like much, but as you continue to go, you will get a deep
incredible drive and belief that you
will accomplish that. It's, it, it will become a win, not an F, which is so cool. And it's also regulates setting goals that are
believable and achievable. It keeps you from setting
completely outlandish goals. Like that is also
something to keep it. Is it realistic? Like create big goals, right? Dreamlike, like come up with these incredible things
and don't limit yourself. But at the same time, try not
to be unrealistic, right? We need to set goals
that are reachable. And once you accomplish that, you can move on to the next one. If you're stuck in
complete poverty and your goal is
to go from poverty to financial
independence in a year. That goal could have
the potential to be self-defeating and
could actually drive you deeper into not
being able to do it because it is so far outside of your capability. Has
it ever been done? Yeah, yeah, it has. But those are incredibly
rare scenarios. And so we wanted to create the best possible chance for success for ourselves. So that's step number two. It has to be believable
and you have to believe that you can achieve it. The third step is
write your goals down. And this is the
one that I was the most skeptical about, I guess. But just over and over and over, I've seen that some of the most successful people
in the world have clear written definable
goals that they review very regularly,
oftentimes daily. And you just can't escape it, you cannot get around it. And there's a reason
why they do that. I think Brian Tracy says that a goal that is not written
is no goal at all. It's merely a wish and I
absolutely agree with him. And I didn't, until I
started actually doing this, I started following the examples of these very successful people. I was like, Whoa, okay, I see why they do this and
we'll go into this much, much deeper later on. But to be most effective, you need to write your goal, literally write it out, not type it, write it
out every single day. Day by day, week by week, month by month, year by year. And what this does is this
will actually manually change and strengthen
that belief that we were talking
about earlier. And it will lodge itself. There's a relationship between the tactile of writing and
your subconscious mind. And that's where
your beliefs and your emotions and your
motivation and your drive and all that stuff comes from
directly tapping into that. We can supercharge our ability to achieve this and to find opportunities and to see things that we wouldn't
have seen otherwise because of this simple exercise
of writing our goal out, because it lodges itself
deep into our mind. It's very, very powerful. And another thing to continually ask ourselves in this is, how will I measure my
success when I get there? And that way, you know, when you've accomplished
your goal is very important. Like I said, we'll
discuss this more in depth after the steps, after I show you
how to use these. Because this is one of the
most important aspects of setting goals and of super
charging your goals. Being in that top 3% that earn ten times as much
as everybody else. There's a reason
why they did that. And so we're going
to dive into that, break it all apart
and figure out why and learn how to do it. Step number four is define
your starting point. And this is very,
very important, just like we need to
have measurable goals. We needed to find where
we went to end up, where we want to accomplish and what we
wanted to accomplish. We need it in the
exact same way. Define where we are at. Because oftentimes I've seen people where they are
growing and changing, but because they did not define where they're coming from, they could not see that growth. Couldn't see because they didn't clearly define where they began. And this helps us keep
a gauge on our growth. And that's really encouraging
to look back on and see. But it also helps you be
realistic about where you're at. So like oftentimes, we
over-exaggerate our problems. And this can be a really good way of
clearly defining, okay, where am I actually, where am I actually add right now,
and where am I going? And that goes back
to the seven keys of a successful goal. So yeah, that's
step number four, define a starting point. The fifth step to
accomplishing your goal is determined why you want it. Because if you can build enough reasons why
you will create, you will manually create desire. And so the reason or the why of a goal is often the fuel for the furnace
of accomplishment. And the more reasons that you have to accomplish your goal, the more drive and the more intensity that's
going to be there. So if you have a goal
and you only have one or two reasons of why
you want to accomplish it. That's not going to be
nearly as intense as if you have a goal and you have 40 things of why you
went to accomplish it. While you must
accomplish why you need to accomplish why
it is important to you. And it's actually really fun to like when I
started doing this, I just wrote everything
that came into my mind and I ended up with 50 things. But a lot of it was, it started to actually
really make a lot of sense. It helped me see why. And so defining that why gave me a lot more passion and drive to not give
up in the hard times, I guess is what
I'm trying to say. So define that why. It's very important. Step
number six is set a deadline. And as I discussed a
little bit earlier, this is like your best guess of when you went to achieve it. And this is also how you
make the goal challenging. Because a goal that doesn't
have a deadline and an end result will just, it'll just go on for infinity. The Parkinson's Law, right? Where a task will expand. Fill the allotted time given it. And so we want to stop that. We don't want that to happen. So by setting a deadline, it gives us a end result of
what we're shooting for. So think about it like a target. It's something
you're aiming for. And if you miss, you re-calibrate and you keep
shooting for it, right? If you're aiming for a target and you miss, you don't quit. And oh, well I missed, therefore I'm a failure. No, you reposition,
you recalibrate. Alright, Why did I miss what happened here? I
missed my deadline. What's going on? Is there a reason
and refocus and redefine the steps you
need to take from now on. Hit the goal the next time. And if you miss it again, you recalibrate and
you keep shooting. You keep shooting.
You keep shooting. Always, you never,
ever, ever stopped. And if you have a large goal, then you need to break it
down into sub deadlines. So you may break down a five-year goal into
monthly and weekly steps. And so for myself, it
breaks down very clearly of certain number of projects that I
accomplish in a week, in a month, and a year that will push me in the direction
of achieving my goal. So again, this is
probably feels like a lot of steps and
things like that. It's like do I really have
to go through all of this? And yeah, it can
be a lot at first. I would encourage you though, to stick with it because
once we get through this, you'll see the
incredible capability that these steps carry because once you define what these mean and figure
out how to use them, the process is very simple. You just plug a
goal in or you plug a desire in and just do it, lays it all out, what
you need to accomplish. And I'll show you
how to do that. But first we have
to get through all 12 of these step number seven, identify obstacles
that are in your way. This is simply you asking
you a lot of questions about what's going to
prevent me from doing this? Who is going to try to stop me? What is my single
greatest obstacle? And attacking that
op school with 100% focus until it
gets taken care of. And oftentimes these
obstacles are internal. So there's an 8020
rule here that says 80% of the obstacles are usually internal and 20%
of them are external. And that's usually
very accurate. We oftentimes are
the sole contributor internally to our,
to our failure. Define those biggest obstacles and work on eliminating them. So ask yourself what is within me that is
holding me back? Step number eight is define the additional
knowledge and skills that you will need to
accomplish your goal. And a good rule of thumb is that a new goal should always be combined with a
learning objective. And so by approaching this
and saying, you know, what is the single greatest
skill that I could learn to take me closer to
what I want to accomplish. So just asking yourself
questions of that. What do I need to learn? Where do I go to learn that? That's a huge part of
this whole process. And something that
I like is I heard someone say this one time
and I really like it. They said if you are
always only one skill set away from doubling or
tripling your income. And that's blind to money
and finances and all that. But I think it applies
in the area of goals and improving our life and achieving things in growing. We're oftentimes so much closer to this than we
ever could have realized. And oftentimes it's
only one skill or one conversation or
one interaction. There's just so many of these,
so that's number eight, define the additional
things that you will have to learn to take
me in that direction. Step number nine is determined. People who's helped
you will need. And that's very similar
to step number eight, except for it takes it
a little bit farther. So say you do need to
learn a skill instead of going and trying to manually
learn that on your own, find someone who's
already learned it, who's already a master at it. And ask them to teach you
because you will save yourself so much time good
directly to the source. Step number ten is make a plan, bring it all together. A plan is a organized
list of tasks that you need to accomplish that will take you in the
direction of your goal. This is the part where we
break everything down and we list out exactly how we're
going to accomplish this. Because a lot of people
don't realize this. But when it comes to solving
things that look impossible, or when it comes to
doing things that seem impossible or huge goals, it all breaks down
to a to-do list. Literally, everything
breaks down into things that you
need to accomplish. Micro steps that
take you to doing, to finishing, to
accomplishing the big thing, whatever that thing is. This is the whole process of breaking it all down and
creating the sub deadlines, stretching it out,
figuring out how what are actionable steps
day-by-day that I can do? What is something
that can do tomorrow to take me in that direction. The biggest thing with
this is it needs to be ordered in level of importance. We oftentimes gets stuck just in the small
stuff, just being busy. When in reality we need
to step back and say, All right, what is the
most important thing that needs to happen right now? And focusing in on that and
taking care of those things. First, step Number 11 is
visualize your goal continually. And the goal here is
to do this every day. And we're gonna talk
more about this when we talk about super charging, this whole process to just launch you in the direction
of accomplishing your goals. But it's really important
that you place yourself in your mind's eye and see your life the way
you want it to be. And when you see your life as if you've already
accomplished these things, what would change in your
life? What would it be better? How would your
life be different? How would you, how
would you be different? All of these things
visualize yourself in that, because in doing that, it allows your mind to get a
sampling, a taste of that. And that right there,
we'll create a lot of motivation that will
pull you in that direction. See there's two
kinds of motivation. There's the kind of
motivation where you push yourself and that kind of
motivation will run out. You will lose that motivation eventually when your
willpower has gone. This kind of motivation where you have something
out in front of you and it's pulling you
in that direction that is an incredibly powerful force. And so by visualizing this
and getting that taste, it allows us to tap into
that motivation and into that Dr. Ferri
and very important, step number 12 is never give up. This comes back to backing Everything you do with
a persistence and determination that
you will not give up deciding before you even begin that you're going
to accomplish this. Because then when you are faced with a problem or
you want to give up, or like it's really, really hard or you're working
through something awful. You've already resolved
that you are going to push through it before
any of that even happens, deciding that you're going
to pursue and achieve this. And nothing's going to stop you. You may recalibrate, you
may change your focus, you may adjust as you go, but
you're going to achieve it.
8. Goal Setting Walkthrough - Example 1: Now we get to the exciting part. This is where we're going to define and write down our goals. So don't skip this part,
it's pretty important. So the first thing
we're gonna do, grab your notebook, grab
your pen or something. So I'm going to write
on and write down ten things that you want to accomplish if you can think of more than ten
things even better, but ten things is a minimum. Start with that and just
get that down on paper. Just write goals at
the top and just write ten things that
you want to accomplish. A very important aspect
of this is write your goals in the
present tense as though it was the year past and you were looking back and you had accomplish
these things, you'd write X number of pounds. Or if you want to earn a
certain amount of money, you write, I earn this
much money by this year. Present tense is really, really important because that connects better with
your mind and with your subconscious
that's going to drive you forward to
accomplish these goals. So take that list and
we want to review and analyze and ask
ourselves this question. What one thing on this list, if I accomplish, will improve my life more than any
of the other ones. And we want to define
that because that is our major definite purpose. It is the most important goal
and it is the one that we need to single in on
right from the beginning. It's another way to find this. We want to take this
major definite purpose, our most important goal, the thing that will
improve our life the most, and we wanted to plug it in
to this 12-step process. I will walk you through
that whole process with some hypothetical examples. And we will go
through step-by-step exactly how I would approach this if I were
doing it for myself. And then if we have
time, I will show you how I have done this, um, since I started setting goals and doing all these things
that I'm telling you to do, which is dramatically,
dramatically changed my life. Let's say that your major
definite purpose is that you will double your
income in the next 12 months. So what we wanna do is before we go through the
step-by-step process, we want to take this this
goal that is written, I doubled my income
by the end of 2023, year date, whatever you
want to put in there. And we wanted to plug that in to the seven keys of
a successful goal. Alright, Is it clear
doubling my income? In reality, what I really should do is take this one
step farther and say, what is my current income? Let's say it's 50
thousand a year. So maybe I'll increase that
to I doubled my income from 5,000,000,000 million,
whatever yours is. And I doubled my income from this to this by the end of
the year, so just double it. So like getting
specifically what your income is is
really important. So clear, specific,
detailed yes. Is written down? Yes. Measurable and objective? Yes. Very measurable objective? Yes. Also objective, time-bound. Does it have schedules? Does it have a deadline
or can it be broken down into sub deadlines by the
end of such and such a year, whatever that is for
you a year from now? Yes. It fits within that. Your goal must be challenging. Yep. Is it in congruency with
my values and my beliefs? So if the way that we
double our income is by doing things that are
unethical or by illegal means, then that does not
align with our values. Or maybe we cut our family
time in half to do this. And if that doesn't
align with your values, then we need to
re-approach something. We need to reassess it and
rework it if possible, for different people,
this is going to differ. But for me, yes, it absolutely would be. That would be I would not
have to do anything that would violate my values
to accomplish this. And doing this alone would not violate any of those
beliefs or values. My goal must be balanced. Now this is more in how you approach the pursuit
of your goal. So I have the ability
to balance this with. There are other things
that matter in my lecture. So yes, it is balanced
and it is the last one. It is my major definite purpose for the sake of this example, let's start with number one. The desire, have a desire. What do you really want? And this is actually
pretty important. So we want to make sure and
read this in the present tense as if we're
looking back on this. So we're going to
write, I doubled my income by the end of 2023. Now obviously that's
a year-and-a-half. But for sake of example,
we're going to use that. And now we need to define
how badly we want this. What are we willing to go
through in order to get that? And these are just questions we want to ask
ourselves is like, okay, what would I be
willing to do to do this? This is kind of a
dreaming period of visualizing what we want and how much we're willing
to go through to get it. So we want to practice
idealization where we don't create
limits on ourselves. And in an ideal world, what would this look like? What would we have? So step one is very simple. It tends to go pretty quick. Step number two, we're
going to take this, I want to double my
income by the end of whatever a year is for you. So we need to now approach
this and look at it and say, Okay, Is that achievable? Is it realistic? I believe that we can do far beyond what we
think is realistic. I'll just apply this
to my to my own life. Am I capable of doubling
my income in a year? Absolutely. I believe that most people
are capable of doing that. So define whether or not you believe you are
capable of doing that. And if you don't feel
capable Currently, Do you believe that you
can learn how to do that? And so if you do
not believe that, then maybe you need to work on some of those
limiting beliefs and approach those and figure out what's
going on with that. So we want to look at
this realistically. We also want to be really careful not to
make it too small. And that is a problem
that I run into with myself and with other
people sometimes is we tend to be over realistic. It's okay to dream big. Like I said, if you
miss your deadline, then make another one
and read and learn from that and continue to work. And a part of this whole
process is getting to the place where we do believe that we're
capable of doing that. So hopefully we've gotten
to the place where we believe that we're capable. We have the skills, talents, abilities to do this or to learn how to do
this in the next year. Step number three of this
process is right my goal down, so I've already written it here, but I'm also going to take it a step farther and
I'm going to write it down at least once
every two days, no less than that, I'm not going to miss
two days in a row, preferably right at
every single day. But if I miss one or two days, it's not
gonna be the end of the world. We will talk a little bit
more about that later. The importance of that
and how to there's a few more details with that that I need to tell
you guys about. But number three is
right my go down. So I'm gonna do
this every morning. First thing I do when I wake up. In fact, I would probably
if I was doing this again, I would probably put
this in my bathroom inside of my sink so that
I couldn't turn it on until I saw it and wrote it down and then go about my brushing my teeth,
all that fun stuff. So that's probably what I
would do if this was my case. So step number four is
determine your starting point. So this is defined, write out exactly
where you are at. How much money am I
making right now? A year. Okay. What is my hourly income? What what job do I have? What position do
I have in my job? What chances for
promotion are there? Do I have any side hustles? Do I have any creative
ventures that I could work on that I could
monetize anything like that. Where am I at right now? If I had another side hustle, like I sell paintings
or whatever we like. Okay. I currently sell two paintings. However, in this nighttime and I make this much a year from that. I do this over here and
I make that much like where am I at all of that. Step number five is
determined why you want it. So sit down, write down how
your life will improve and change and be better
for accomplishing this. So for this one, it's say, okay, if I if I found a way to
double my income in a year, that would allow
me to travel more, that would allow me to
give to people more, and that would allow me to experience a higher
quality of life. That would allow me to
buy camera equipment. There's a lot that this would do and so just
defining all of that, fueling that fire forward. And step number six is
defined a deadline. So I've already done this in the statement that I've gotten because I am so familiar
with this process, I already do a lot of these things without
thinking about it. So that was one of
the things I did is I just buy the end of a year from now or 2023 or six months,
whatever it is for you. Put that in like literally
in the statement. So the deadline is
a year from now. So I would probably
want to take that and break it down
into month by month. Income tends to have a snowball
effect like kinda ramps. And so we want to
find ways to do that and look at what it's
going to take month by month. What changes do I need
to do to get me there? What is what are my
increments? Month by month? Step number seven is identify
the obstacles in my way. First obstacle by far is
going to be time management. How I manage my time, how I trade my time for money. That is the hands down,
the biggest obstacle. Because if you trade
your time for money, you will hit a plateau or cap because there is not
infinite amount of time. So what do we need to do
is I would need to build a way so that my money is
making me money. Okay? So investments, an
online product, something that is scalable, time is not scalable. So like, I would probably
come up with a OUD, probably begin an
Amazon business, drop shipping, eBay business, something that would it require very minimal
amount of my time, but I would be selling a
product that would be shipped, everything would be taken
care of by someone else. So I would find a way or
investments or something that would allow my money
to be making me money. So that would be the
biggest obstacle for me currently because I'm very
strapped on time for you. The obstacle might be that you don't believe that
you could do that, that would come back to
your beliefs and you'd have to identify that
and work on that. What's an area that I thought I couldn't do before that I did. I've done in the past. What can I do it again? Yeah, absolutely. I just have to find the correct strategy and the way to do that. So writing, I'm writing
down a lot of this stuff. So writing down obstacle, time to money ratio. Find a way to solve this
by finding a way to trade money for money so that my time can be
scaled, it can grow. Step number eight, identify
additional knowledge or skills that I would need to
take me in this direction. This one is also
something that would be would change a lot based on each person's past
experience and all of that. So for me, I don't know just a whole lot about
doubling my income. However, I do know a bit. And so a part of
that process would probably be reading
a lot of books. It would be watching
seminars, taking courses. You can learn a lot
on the Internet. And so I would find someone who has done what I
am wanting to do. And I would follow
them and figure out exactly how they did it
and follow their process. Because if they
know how to do it than I can learn from
it and I can do it, I can replicate them. Tim Ferriss is a fantastic
example of that. The four-hour workweek,
fantastic example of that, and just learning the systems
that are needed to do that. I would determine exactly what the knowledges
that I would need. Okay, So do I need
to know knowledge about how Amazon works? Write it down. Do I need to know
knowledge about how to set up an LLC?
I've never done that. I don't know how to
do it, write it down. That's something I
need to solve for. Additional knowledge
and skills that I need. Do I not know how to
use a laptop very well? Well, that's probably going to affect how well I can
sell something on Amazon. Learn that skill. Don't justify your
inefficiencies. Simply work on them. And so again, this could
go under like obstacles. So set those things,
find what it is, identify the things
you need to learn. And then this also applies
to step number nine, which is identify the
people whose help you need. So you can ask people
to mentor you. For me, I have very
successful brothers and my dad are very, very
financially successful. And so I can turn
to them and say, hey, what have you learned?
What can you teach me? My dad is very
good at accounting and budgeting and
all of that stuff. So I can sit down
with them, say, Hey, teach me how to budget,
teach me how to do this. Teach me how to do that. What do I need to know
about starting a business? What do I need to know
about this or that? My brother did shipping online
for a number of years ago. And so I can sit down
with them, say, hey, what were problems that you
had that could be avoided? What can you teach
me? Write it all down, get everything down, because this right here is what turns into your checklist. These are the
things that you are then going to come back to you. And you're going to say, what
is my number one obstacle? That is priority number one. I'm gonna do that and
that you work on that and it's a checklist
the whole way down. And so that's what this thing defines for us,
define those people. So my dad, my brothers, I could probably find people online that would have courses. I know Tony Robbins has a very successful
financial course on investing and
all that fun stuff. Let's see. Tim Ferriss is very
vague. Successful. I have a friend who's
in real estate. I would probably call him
and ask him how he did it. Who mentored him? What courses did he take? Write them down,
take those courses. Step number ten is make a plan. And so now we take all of this, we put it into a plan and
this is mostly going to start from around five and down, probably between 510 or so. And so it's basically taking
those things, the obstacles, a deadline, breaking
that deadline down into sub deadlines. And within those deadlines, filling it with the things of the obstacles that
people need to contact. So I would take, alright, what is month number one? What am I going to have done accomplished by the
end of this month? I'm going to talk to
my friend Samuel, whose into real estate, who is a very successful
real estate investor within each way younger than me. Well, what did he do? I'm going to define that and
I'm gonna have three clear step-by-step actions of what I learned from him. I'm going to boil it all
down to three things. What's the next thing? What
is the biggest obstacle? Biggest obstacle. I'm going to have that solved by the end
of the first month. I'm going to have
it solved that I find a way to trade
my money for money, or I find a way to
trade a onetime, a time commitment so that it recurrently makes
money on the Internet. This is exactly what I'm doing with this
video right here. It is a onetime time
investment of mine. Once I do it, it is done. It sits on the internet
forever and ever and ever. And it sits, you're
making me money. I have one investment in
that and that is my time. So that would be another
way to solve that problem. And so I would just make a list. What do I need to solve? A write all of that out. This is what I will
have solved by the end of the month and
then break that down. What about week number three? What about week number one? What about tomorrow? And so breaking
all of this down, putting it all
together into a plan, to an action, into something that is achievable
into a checklist. So I've put in my skills
that I need to acquire all like the people I need
to contact tomorrow, who am I going to
email tomorrow? Stuff like that, like breaking
it all down into a plan. And I don't know about you, but this is where it
just gets so exciting to me because it's all about taking this thing that was suddenly this dream out here in
the clouds somewhere. And within just like an hour, it is suddenly I have. Actionable things that
I can accomplish. I can email my friend tomorrow,
I can email them today. I could call this
person, I could do this. I could read that book
in the next week, is suddenly gives
you things that are instantly taking
you in that direction. What was previously a
dream and a wish is now shoe leather and you
are putting it into practice and it is so much fun. Step number 11 is visualize
my goal continually. So what I would do is every
morning when I write my goal, I would take five-minutes, three minutes, as
much time as I can. Probably not more than ten
minutes to start off with. The longer the
better, but you also have to you have to work around schedule
and stuff like that. So for me I couldn't
dedicate more than that. You might be able
to get 30 minutes. It's up to you. So for me I would sit down and
I would just try to relax. And I would sit there
and I would think, okay, I'm gonna put myself in
my shoes in a year from now when I have twice as much in my bank account
than I do right now. And or per year,
whatever that is. How would I what would
my life be like? What do I have a new car? Would I be looking
into buying a house? Maybe, what trips,
what have I done? Maybe I'll be in Spain
in a year from now. Like, that's pretty cool. Like what, what, how
did that happen? You know, this,
this is kinda nice. This is cool. Like I'm
going to visualize that. I'm going to put
myself in my shoes. I'm going to experience what that would be like
in an ideal world. That's going to pull me forward, it's going to cause me to
move in that direction. And step number 12
is never give up. And so that is something
that I would have done at the very beginning
before I even begun probably, which is ironic that
it's at the end. But I'm never, ever, ever going to give
up on this goal. And that basically says, I resolve, I will find
a way to do this thing. Even if it takes me two years
or five years or ten years, Like I'm gonna do
whatever it takes. I'm going to
accomplish this goal. If it doesn't take me here,
I'm going to reassess and I'm going to re-approach and I'm
going to keep doing it. I'm gonna change my
approach until I get the results that I desire. It's resolving what am I gonna do with obstacles
when they come? Maybe I sit down with
my dad and I say, Hey, this is my goal. What can you teach
me about that? And he says, You can't do that. I tried doing that
and it doesn't work. You're not gonna
be able to do it. What am I gonna do with that? Okay, That's my dad. Like, that would be incredibly hurtful and he wouldn't
do that obviously, but what would I do with that? Right. And so that would be
where I would have resolved. What am I gonna do
with rejection? What am I gonna do with it? So for me I would sit
down and say, Alright, What am I gonna do if
dad would do that to me? Because I can have two
results from that. One would be, oh, wow, Great. Okay. Well this sucks. It's probably not gonna
be able to do it because I'd add is really,
really good with money. How did he not be
able to do that? Or I can sit down and say, man, he had to give up on his
dream of doing that. I'm never gonna give
up on my dream. I'm gonna do this and I'm going to show him that I can do it. Not to prove them wrong, but to prove to him that he is still capable of doing
it if you want it to. I'm going to use that
to motivate me forward. I'm going to hear what he said and I'm gonna learn from it. But it's going to drive me. And I'm gonna, I'm
gonna dig in even deeper and grip harder. So like defining all of that, I would define that
out very clearly. What is this going to do for me? So we just defined
what the step-by-step process looks like if I
want to double my income. So let's take this
another, another angle.
9. Goal Setting Walkthrough - Example 2: Let's say that I
want to create a, well, okay, what does it like? 93% of all people graduating high school
and now say they want to be online influencers. It's interesting, but let's
say that that's my goal. Let's say that's my dream. I wanted to become fully
self-sustaining on YouTube. I want to, I want you to be my job is we approach
this the exact same way. We take the seven keys
and we write this out. Let's say that this is our
transparent with purpose. So we're gonna, we're gonna plug it into that and we're
going to say, alright, how do I write in a way
that makes sense with these seven things that I make enough money to do such
and such from YouTube. So the first thing I would do is define how much money do I need to make from YouTube
as a YouTuber, whatever, to be able
to function and operate without another
job, what would that be? Alright. 20 thousand a year, 30 thousand
year, 12 thousand a year. I don't know. A 100 thousand year,
whatever that is. I would define that for me. I would probably write
out something like, I am self-sustaining on YouTube. And then I would define
what self-sustaining means. I would probably
write something like, I am self-sustaining, 300 to $500 a week on
YouTube by the end of 2025. And I will be halfway
to that goal, a $100 a week by
the end of 2023. Because of that snowball effect, you have to shoot lower
on the halfway part. In part because the line
is gonna go like that. So I would either plug that
in to the seven keys or I would look at
the seven keys and write it through that lens. Is it clear? Is it specific? Is a detail of the
Desert written down? So is it clear, self-sustaining? It's a little foggy maybe,
so I would probably define that a little bit
more or just remove it. So I'd probably say I earn
300 to $500 a week on YouTube through AdSense and through
brand sponsorships. By the end of 2025. And I'm halfway there, $100 by the end of 2023. So I will probably
clarify it even more. And then I would probably
clarify even more because that's not the next
one is it must be measurable. So for the first year, I'm gonna make a big fat
0. That's not measurable. I have to find another metric
or standard rule of thumb, depending on what
arena you're in, is 15 thousand views
a month will get you five to $10 a day to start. So define what, how many
views a month you would need. I would probably break it
down a little bit more, say, to something like I got 15
thousand views a month by the end of such and such a
time, such and such a date. And what that does is
that allows me to gauge and measure this goal
very accurately. Now, is it bound to a
deadline and schedule? Yes. You can see that by the end of 2025 and halfway
there by the end of 2023, I can break that
down into yearly. Monthly, weekly? Yes. Is it challenging? Yes, it would be very
challenging because it's going to require me to learn a lot of new skills and a lot of new things that
I've never done before. I don't know you did
work? Actually, I do because I'm a full-time
YouTuber, pretty much. Goals must be congruent with your values and in
harmony with each other. So would that be
congruent for me? Yes, it would be balanced. Would I be able to balance
that with the rest of my life? Yes. I would be able to. If the answer was no, I
could not balance that, then I would have to
maybe stretch out that timeline a little bit
more or shrink it. Maybe that's too far out. Maybe 2025, that's a little far. That's 2.5 years. That's a little far. I think I can do it in a year. So we're going to shoot for
20 we're going to shoot for a year and six months
is the halfway mark. Maybe that's what you decide
for whatever goal it is. Is this a major
definite purpose? Is this? Will this bring about
the most positive change for my life? For me? Absolutely, it will. So we
have that desire, right? So we would write down, what do I really, really want that? We've already
answered that, right? So we want to, we want
to dream and imagine and speculate and look at
without limitations, where could we be British
going to define that? And we're going to write
out our desire for this. Then we're going to write
out, do we believe that we can accomplish this
right out that question. Do I believe that I can accomplish this goal
if the answer is no? Do you believe that you
have the capability to learn what you need to
learn in order to do this. For me, I would have a hard
time doing it in a year. I think I think I would for me if I had
if it wasn't a year, I would probably say no. What I have the capability
of learning it. Yes, but I would have to unbalance a lot of
things in my life. So therefore, stretch out that timeline a little bit more. So I'm gonna stretch
it out back to where we were end of 2025, fully sustaining
itself, staying on YouTube halfway there
by end of 2023. I believe that that
is achievable. I believe that I can do that. And I'm willing to do
whatever it takes to learn what I need to learn
in order to do that. And I'm willing to make
sacrifices for that. So I believe that that
goal is achievable, right? My goal down. Same thing. I'm going to agree to do
this every single day along with the
visualization which is covered in a later step
determined my starting point. This is actually really, really easy with this
process because. I can look at my YouTube
channel now and I can say, all right, how many views
a month do I get now? But let's say I'm at a
thousand views a month. So write that down, catalogue and create as much of a starting
point as you can. How many views a
month do you get, a week, a day? How often do you upload? How many videos
have you uploaded? What gear do you have? Where are you shooting? What are you using to edit? What equipment are
you editing with? Do you have any
other video projects or gigs that you
make money from? Define all of this out, then I would determine
why I want to do this. What is the driving
force behind this? Is it so that people
respect me more? Is this so that I have significance so that I
wouldn't be popular. So what I want to be famous so that I want to be able to work from anywhere in the world. Why? Answer as many why
questions as you can? So I would write out
just a whole ton of this, set a deadline. I've already done that
in the statement, the end of 2075, halfway there, I get to reevaluate
at the end of 2023. Say, How am I doing on this? Do I need to change my approach? Number seven is identify
the obstacles in my way. Biggest obstacle in
my way right now, if I were to try to do that, probably the biggest
obstacle for that would be well, it depends. So it could be that maybe I
don't own my own equipment. So let's look into rentals. You can rent a very
high-quality camera for a $100 a week. Could I condense my
videos and record like ten videos in that week
to make it worth my while. I would have to
think about that. Alright, what is, maybe I don't know how to use Adobe Premiere
and editing software. Alright, that's an obstacle. So I would write out as
many obstacles as I could and then I would define the one that is the biggest obstacle. What does it all bottleneck to? So for example, the
biggest obstacle maybe, I don't know how the
YouTube algorithm works. That is something
I can learn along the way if that is a problem versus I don't know
how to edit the editing one is going
to be most important. I'm going to have
to deal with that first because I
can't even publish a video until I learned
that YouTube algorithm. I will learn that as they go. This is more urgent. It is the bottleneck because
everything flows through that. Or I'm gonna have to look
at hiring an editor. So list out those problems. What's the most
important one was the bottleneck. Address it. Number eight, determine
the additional knowledge and skills that I will need. We've kind of already
talked about this. What would I need? Do I
know how to use a camera? No. Alright, I'm gonna have to
learn how to edit video. What is white balance? What, what frame
rate do I shoot at? Oh, I've been shooting at 60 frames per second
this whole time. That's not good. I need to correct that. Alright. Learn all of those things, define all of those things. How often should I upload? Where can I find someone
to coach me through this? Who has done this before me? Has someone with
less intelligence than me done this
and been successful. Okay, well, then I could
probably do it too. So defining all of that out, what do I need to learn? And then what is the, again, what is the most important
one for me to learn? Tackle that first
and then again. When we plan all this out, this is our to-do lists, pretty much. Number nine,
determine the people who's helped you will need. My brother makes you two
videos so I could talk to him. There are tons and tons of
YouTubers who talk about this. There are tons of
courses on Skillshare, which I will probably get a much more detailed
description from. There are places
that I could buy a course that would
be really in-depth, like almost a
guaranteed success rate of a successful channel
within two years. There are lots of people
that could help me. So I would write out a list. Who is going to
help me with this? Who could help me with this? What is the best option for my time and my
money to do this? Does, is this something
I want to spend all my time learning on my own, or do I want to pay
someone to save myself two or three
months of struggling, save that time and pour
that back into the channel. These are all questions
you have to address, but they have to start
by getting them out. You have to get
them out on paper. You have to identify them
before you can manage them. If you don't manage it,
you cannot measure it. And so all of this has to be just like thrown onto the page. And it's going to
look awful at first. That's kinda the point is
you have to get it out because then you can work with it number ten and make a plan, bring it all together. This is where we combine everything that we
have on our paper, everything that we've written, and we say, how do
I break this down? What is there again, you decide where, where am I at, where am I going? Why? What kind of
deadlines do I need? When do I need to reevaluate? When do I need to? Maybe I need to revise my
goal or my my statement. What is the biggest obstacle? How will I address that? Break that down
into subcategories. What needs to happen today, tomorrow, next week, next month? What do I need to talk to? Who can I e-mail tomorrow? Who what about next week? Um, what courses am
I going to take? This is where the
rubber hits the road. You define all of this stuff. You break all this down
into actionable items. And this is a very
important thing because we want to
be very specific. We do not want to be vague. We wouldn't be as clear and as specific and as
detailed as possible. Because if you don't know what your immediate next step is,
you've done something wrong. So if tomorrow you
wake up and you do not know what your next step is,
you've done something wrong. It is very important because this whole process is
about taking the unknown, the dream, and making it
a reality and helping you see that it's possible
in step number ten is. Incredibly important. Spend a day on that. If you have to spend a week, if you have to get that right because you
don't want to make the wrong plan and re-evaluate
that plan repeatedly. And evaluate where you're
at, where you're going, where you're
inefficiencies are in, eliminate them and
multiply your strengths. So I can't emphasize
that enough. I, when I started
making my own goals, I did not do a very
good job of that. I did not make a
very clear plan, and now I have a
very clear plan. I know what I'm doing tomorrow. I know what I'm doing
this week, this month, this year, I have it all
categorized and broken down. And I know I've, I've overcome the
biggest obstacles. I'm moving on to the next ones. Who am I talking to?
What am I doing? What courses are meant taking? What is the process? What is it? You have
to get it all out. And so once you get it all out, break it down into actionable
steps through this process, make a plan and
sub-categorize that plan. If you'd just do a
whole entire year, it's going to look
overwhelming, so break it down. And again, this is the
funniest part in my opinion, this is where it comes to life. It's so enjoyable. Step number 11, same
thing as before. I would visualize what my life would be like if I
was a full-time YouTuber. Again, maybe I'm over
like in Thailand, chillax thing on a
private beach and I'm sitting there working on
my laptop editing a video. That kind of sounds like the
life to a lot of people. What would that be like? Maybe that's
completely outlandish. But if that's what your goal is when you become
self-sustaining on YouTube, then imagine that what
would it be like? Or maybe it would be the fact that you could sub out most of your work and you
would only have to work 1015 hours a week. Do you spend the rest of
the time with your family? You get to play with your kids, you get to teach them things. You get to take them on trips. You get to do all this stuff. Like, what would
your life look like? And what would it feel like
to walk a day in those shoes? How good would that be? What challenges would
it bring to you like? So yeah, visualize that, see that in your mind's eye. And so seven, number 12.
Again, what am I gonna do when the inevitable problem hits
the, the wave of doubt, the discouragement, when I
post my 100th the video, and it gets three views, what am I going to do? What is my approach
clearly laying out? I would probably
I would probably think of the worst
possible case scenario. And I would write out what
the worst-case scenario is. If this does not work. First of all, what can I
what would I do about that? Is it permanent? Just define that. Define what the worst
thing that can happen. And so as you can
see, there, there's, this process is very structured and it's nice
because you can just put, you can just plug stuff in. Now maybe you're thinking, Okay, well this is great if you know what you want
to accomplish. I don't know what I
want to accomplish. And so in that case, what I would do is I
would start out with, number one, have a desire. Write down 20 things that you are interested in or
that you are curious about. These are things that
you would want to investigate if you
have a spare weekend. And just write out the things that you are intrigued by the you want to
learn more about. The two examples I gave were very clear accomplishment
in money business, easier, easy to manage. So it can be a little bit challenging if you're
trying to break down a skill set or a
knowledge-based goal, because knowledge is invisible, it's very hard to track. And so for that,
you might have said deadlines of maybe, um, maybe I gave a speech at this
point during the process, or you have to get creative with how you break
these things down sometimes. So take those curiosities, write out 2530 things that
you're curious about, and then find the places
that they overlap. And so for me, a lot of
those places overlapped around my interests
of of exercise, diet and like
breathing techniques. So those three things overlap. So I'm going to spend some time looking into those
things, researching them, allowing my mind to play
in that arena until I find something
that I want to latch onto and pursue and I can
create a goal about it. Or another way of doing
this is right out ten things that you want to
see solved in the world. These are things that
keep you up at night, things that anger you, things that you want
to see themselves. These are massive
things probably, or maybe there are small things. Maybe they're things
that are just in your life that only you
know about start there. And a goal, a goal for next week can be
plugged into this. A goal for ten years down the road can be
plugged into this. There's so many options, so don't limit yourself.
10. Activate Your Subconscious Mind: Hopefully your brain
doesn't feel too full. But this is probably the
most important aspect aside from the steps
that you can do. So this is now,
now that you have your major definite purpose. This is the thing
that will bring the most improvement
to your life. We need to take that and we
need to figure out a way to accelerate that to
incredible amounts. So that's exactly what
we're gonna do in this next section called
activate your subconscious mind. And these are some
incredible tools to take it to the next level. And this may take a little
bit of effort and time when your part even daily. But, um, this might
be one of the yeah, like I said, it's
probably one of the more important aspects of this whole process,
so don't neglect it. So a lot of this comes from
the remarkable ability that your mind has to move in the direction
that it is focusing on. It is a fascinating ability of our brain that when we
lock onto a target, we move in that direction. Our mind will do things. It will alert us to things to
take us in that direction. And this has only recently been understood in a way that makes sense and I'll
explain it to you. It's called the reticular
activating Cortex. This is the side of
your brain that is responsible for tuning out
the majority of your world. And it's good you
do that because you don't hear the blood policy
in your left ear right now, or you don't see what color
something is behind you because your brain Tunes it out because it would be
information overload. Now we can activate this in
very specific ways so that our brain does not tune out the things that would take
us closer to our goals. And I'll discuss how to do that. But first, let me describe a little bit more what this is. So you may have experienced
this where you, let's say you purchase a product or let's say
you purchase a vehicle. So for me, I bought a Mustang
and not too long ago. Now, every time I
drive through town, if I see that model
of Mustang anywhere, I immediately like
boom, I like to see it. And I never noticed
Mustangs before, but as soon as I bought one, my brain said, Hey,
That's important. We're going to notice
wherever we see Mustangs now, we can manually tell our brain, Hey, I'm trying to
double my income. So if there's anything that pops up that might
help me in that arena, don't zone it out. And that's exactly
what we're gonna do. And this is an incredible
power that our brain has been a lot of people miss when
it comes to setting goals. So let's discuss how to do this. It's fascinating. There's two ways
that we can do this, and we've already discussed
one and that's visualization. The second way we've
also discussed, but we're going to discuss it in a little different manner here. And that is writing your goals. So there is a direct connection between the tactile of writing, physical movement and
the subconscious. It tags it as important. That is why we write
our goals every day. Because every day it's saying
this is important to me. And so it's lodging
that deep inside of our brain and saying,
This is important. Anything that applies to this, let me know at first
you won't notice it probably, but over time, there would just be
things that happen where you notice something, you see a video or you hear
someone say something, you're like, I got to
talk to that person like they might be able to help me
do this and this and this. And you never would
have noticed it if you hadn't had your
brain tuned to that, to keep an eye out for that.
That's what we're gonna do. We're gonna write, we're
going to write our goal, our main definitive, definite purpose
every single day, because that is what the
main job of this does. It tunes our brain
to look for that, to be alert for that. And it does it subconsciously, which is really awesome
because that means that your brain will
literally be working on things to take you closer to your goal without
you ever knowing it. Maybe while you're sleeping,
while you're driving, whatever it will be doing it
without even realizing it. So if your goal is that you
want to double your income, you're sitting
there, you're right, that every day for a week, you'll notice that
stuff will just start popping into your head. That'd be like, Oh,
I could try this. This will pop in. Oh, what if I did
this over here? Oh, I forgot about this guy, but I remember long
time ago he said that if I ever needed
investments for rentals, that I should let
him know that sort of stuff has literally happened to me and to
other people that I know. And so by writing
articles every day, it is defining this and
clearly laying it out in the exact same way that you see the Mustangs in town that
you never saw before. You will see the
world differently. You will see and hear and feel opportunity that before
you were oblivious to. And there's two ways
that we can do this. The one way it takes a little
bit more time and effort. And the other way is
just a quick practice. I'll share both
of them with you. The first way is to write down ten goals every single day. And the purpose of
this is it will, it will allow you to like
it's a filtering process. The first day you do this, it'll take a little bit of reflection. You'll have to think about it. Like, what do I want to accomplish ten,
That's a lot, right? And so then the next day
it'll be a little easier. In the next year
it'll be a little easier and you'll notice that day to maybe this one goal is not
quite as important as this other one or
o like that goal. And I was kinda just a whim. I don't actually want to do that anymore, so you don't
even write it down. There will be a filtering
process that happens. And the goal is to do
this for one month. Because at the end
of that one month, chances are you will have filtered out the things that
aren't as important to you. And you will have
ten goals that you write almost word for word every single day because
these are the goals. You filled it out every other
whim, every other interest. That's it. Like that is where
you're going for. That is the one process. And then you would
choose the one that impacts your life the most. And that's your main goal. You attack that goal
when he finished that, when you go to the
next one and so on or if you don't want
to go to that trouble, which okay, Let me just say something here really quickly. A part of writing your goals every day is a test to see how much you are willing to go through to actually get what you want and to actually
get the accomplishment. Obtain these goals. If you cannot,
take ten minutes a day to write down your goals, to take you closer
to that arena. How bad do you actually
want your goals? So I'll just leave
that with you. I'll let you define that. How, how much do you want
to dedicate to this? How important is it to you? Actually, the second part
of this process is to just write your main
goal every day. First thing you do
in the morning. And if you want to, last thing you do
in the evening. And this is really impactful. So I would recommend doing
this no matter what, even if you don't understand it, even if it doesn't
make any sense to you. Trust me on this, just try it. And you will see the
results of this. You will become aware of
things they never thought of, and you'll become aware to
solutions for your problems, that you haven't even been actively working
on the problems, but your subconscious has been, it's been working
on it, chewing on the problem to another process. And every now and then
it just spits out a solution to you and
you're just like, wow, that's pretty cool. And so those light
bulb moments will begin happening more
and more and more. So, write your goals. Very, very important aspect
of this whole process, one of the most important. Now when you write your goals, this is an aspect that I maybe should have
covered earlier. But I'm going to cover it here because when you
write your goals, there is a specific way that
you need to write it so that it applies best to your
subconscious mind. And this is called
the three P formula. That means that when you,
when you write your goal, it needs to be positive. Personal present. So positive in the sense that it's not like I quit smoking. It is IMA non-smoker, personal in that I
am is the first word that starts with followed by an action of some kind,
present, present tense. We've already discussed this. It's not, I will, I am, or I am accomplishing
something like that. It is present tense. If it is really important
that you do that because your subconscious does not have
a very good grasp on time. That's why when you
dream it feels so. Anyway. So that's why it's
really, really important that it's
present tense, that it's positive and that
it is personalized to you. So for example,
you would not say, my goal is to earn
$50 thousand a year. Instead, you would say,
I earn $50 thousand a year or a 100 thousand or
500 thousand whatever. So again, trust the
process of this, it might not feel
like it's working, but I can promise you it does because there's
literally has worked for millions of people. And if you want to take this to the next level completely, then after you're done
writing your goal, write down three ways that you can immediately take action
to take you closer to that. That might be something like
I plan every day in advance. I step up to every challenge
I face immediately, and I concentrate
single-mindedly on the most important task until it's done,
something like that. The next step of activating your reticular cortex and again, creating that motivation
and that drive comes from the art
of visualization. The reason why this
works is that your subconscious cannot
tell the difference between reality and what
is imagined vividly. That's why dreams feel so real. And so by doing this,
we are literally training our brain to
think in a certain way. We're training it to see
the world in a new way, to respond to problems in a new way of
visualizing that every day is setting a new
course for our life. It's setting that focus
and what we focus on, we will move towards keeping your visualizations positive
obviously is really, really important aspect of this, because everybody visualize
this on a daily basis. We all do this, but we
do it unconsciously. Lot of times unsuccessful
people tend to visualize very negative things
of what's going to go wrong and all this stuff where it's very successful people. They, they're looking
at what is going right. What can I do better? How can I, how can I improve their visualizing
that continuously? They always have something
in front of them that they're moving towards
that's pulling them. In. This visualization
is programming your, your mind to respond
in certain ways. And again, this will create a lot of drive and
motivation for you. And it will also help prepare you and move
you in that direction. It's a really, really
powerful exercise. So you may be wondering, okay, how often should
I be doing this? So preferably every day, I would recommend doing it
when you write your goal. Which then the next logical
question is how long? For that, I would say start out with 30 seconds to a minute. And then if you can, the longer the better, so just go with whatever
feels best to you. But it's really
important that you place yourself in your visualization close to reality is you can't visualize it in as much
detail as you can, as vividly as you can. Hearing what you heard,
activate all of your senses. It's really, really
important that you do that. And so the more like
reality that it feels, the faster and
better and more in that direction your brain
is going to respond. It's going to continue
to push you in that way. When I read this,
I was like, yeah, that's some hocus pocus
stuff and things. But it's actually
not like this is, this is a basic
function of our brain. And it's a way of manipulating it and using
it to achieve what we want. So like, for example, a very, very successful people will
do this on a regular basis. Very successful sports players, this is what they do to train. They run through their routes. Figure skating is where this first began with visualization, and it dramatically improved their performance
and their skills. They were able to
learn skills in incredible amounts
of time simply by running through their
routes visually, this stuff works and
it's been working for a very, very long time. So at least try it
before you discount it. And for me, the process of writing and visualizing my goal, it changed my belief
system about this. So like I mentioned earlier, how you might not fully
believe that you can do it. Like you think you
have the capability, but you're not quite
fully convinced. And so getting to that point, riding my goals and
visualizing was a huge part of that
process because it's slowly began to shift
from a if to a win. And it didn't take long. It only took a couple of weeks to a month where I was like, This is what I'm going to do. I like, It's as though I've
already accomplished it. I just have to go through
the process now, like it is. It is there in my future. No two ways about it. I just have to simply go
through the steps to get there. Like it was so sure in my
mind, there was no doubt. And there still is no doubt that confidence is really,
really powerful. So with all that in
mind, let's move to the next video
where we talk about what does a daily
routine look like?
11. The Plan: Daily Routine: What does a daily
routine look like? I'll give you a brief rundown
of what mine looks like. And you may interpret
that however you wish and change
it and mold it, whatever works best for you. So for me, I write my goal
every single morning. It's usually not the
first thing I do. It's usually within
about ten minutes of me waking up ten to 15 minutes. But it's pretty close to the first thing I
do every morning. I'll let you decide if you
want to do the exercise of the ten goals every
day for a month? I did a form of that. I didn't do it for
quite that long. But I know what my
major definite purpose is and I've locked onto that and that is the single greatest thing
that would improve my life. I'm honed in on that. So that's the
direction I'm going. So that is what I
write every day. And after that, I tried to spend a minute to three minutes visualizing what
my life would be like if this was happening. I tried to visualize all that out as though I
was already there. Looking back to now in another aspect of visualization
that I've started to do every evening before I go to bed is I have started this process. This this will take
a lot of working up for you to be able to
do it took me a long time. But I've started to
visually walk through an entire day minute by minute of what my life would
be like if I was living. That way, it
translates real-time. So if I sit and visualize
30 minutes of that, I move 30 minutes in my day. So it's incredibly taxing
and very difficult. But the results are insane. I've only been doing
it a few days and my behavior is already changing
the way I talk to people, it's already changing
the way I respond. The way I motivated it is
changing is incredible. I'm, yeah, I'm excited to see how this works and
how far it takes me. But again, that is taking me
a long time we get up to, but I would really encourage you to try it when
you visualize. Don't just visualize
random scenarios. Put yourself through an activity that you would have
or through an hour, like tried to make it
real time if you can. The last thing is spend
a little bit of time, a few minutes each day, deciding on what will take you closer to your goal
and write that out, refer to part number ten, step number ten of the goal
list where you make a plan, refer to that plan, create a step-by-step process. Every single day,
you should have a list of what you
want to accomplish, what needs to be accomplished
to keep you on track. And then that should
line up with your week, with your month and
with your year. Very, very important. So have that list, step into that and work towards achieving
that in your day.
12. Learning to Dream Big: Now this isn't gonna
be very short portion of this whole process, but I do just, I feel like
I need to throw it in here. This one is about
dreaming big and this doesn't fit terribly well
into this whole process. I really feel like it's
important because we often overestimate what
we can do in a year and we underestimate what
we can do in ten years. And so this whole process
is about helping you dream. Usually the things that
happen in our life first started as a thought
whereas an imagination, all of it, it actually. So learning how to dream big, learning how to look out ten
years in your life and say, This is where I want to be. It's not that you're going to accomplish that necessarily. It's about learning
to look in advance, learning to imagine, and learning to look
for possibilities. And so you'll quickly
realize that you hardly have the capacity right now to dream big
enough for ten years. And it is really,
really good for you. Write out 510 years in the future and
imagine no limitations. Absolutely none. And again, this is not about we're not going to
break this down necessarily an actionable steps. This is simply about creating
a framework, a foundation. Where would you want to be, what would you want to be
doing in a perfect world with no limitations if you
knew that you could not fail, where would
you want to be? And just dream it up. Imagine and try to see
the value of that. Because we, we often completely underestimate what
we can do by doing this. It, it's allowing us to open
up the realm of possibility, like okay, So we view our
world in a box, right? We see our reality a certain way based on
assumptions that we have, that we don't even
know that we have. And what this does is it takes
this box of our reality, of our world, of
what we think is possible, of our abilities. And it stretches it out. It makes it bigger, gives us more room
of possibility. And suddenly you
start realizing that our framework of life
is really narrow. And so this whole exercise
is simply about stretch out that possibility and stretch out your life of possibility. Yeah, create the mindset
of being able to visualize and imagine
something massive. So again, the whole thing, the whole exercise is just about stretching out your fabric of reality and expand what you think is possible even
if you don't achieve it, it does something for your mind. I can't explain it until you
actually do it, but it just, it does something to just dream of what your ideal world would
be like in ten years. It's called blue-sky thinking, where you look up at a blue sky, endless possibilities and
just think like, Okay, what would happen to you if you actually created
that in the future? What would your life be like, like any imagine every
aspect of your life. Where would you be
living physically? Where would your
mental capacity be? Mental space,
mental disciplines. How would your body be? Would you be fit?
Would you be strong? Would you have broken certain
habits at that point? Would you've broken
addictions at that point? Where, where would you be at? And just dialogue
and just imagine that world and try to step into it in as much
detail as you can. What would your
perfect family life be like, you know,
all this stuff? And then if you really feel adventurous, reverse
engineer it. Ask yourself this question. What is stopping
me from achieving my tenure goals in
the next six months? Now the goal is not to
actually do it in six months, although that might actually be possible, depending what it is. But if you just take time to write out answers
for that question, 95% of it is probably
going to be useless, but the 5% of it that is useful will most
likely be pure gold. And it will most likely dramatically move you
in the right direction. So that is an exercise I would highly recommend
for you to do. It has helped me
significantly in my life. Unsuccessful people tend to wonder like if something
can be done or not. Successful people. They don't ask if
it can be done. They ask how it can be done. And there's a huge
difference in mindset that, that is, that's what
we want to cultivate.
13. The Project: Now for the project
portion of this, if you care to share, we would love to see
what you came up with with your either your
ten goals that you came up with that you wrote out every single day or your
main definite purpose. The biggest thing that will bring improvement to your life. Just maybe take a
picture of your writings or maybe a screenshot or whatever and just post
it in the comments. Or I might put a link down in the project descriptions
as well where you can upload it and we can review it and comment on it and
things like that. So it's up to you what you
want to post down there. But I would recommend posting either your main
definite purpose and how you plan
to accomplish it. Or post the ten, the ten goals that you want to accomplish in the
next 12 months. And we're all here to
help each other out. We're all here to
give advice and to encourage each other onwards. So, yeah, no one's gonna
be criticizing each other. And we're all here too, help each other accomplish
these things and move in that direction to
continuously keep moving. So don't be shy. We'd love to see it. And
this will also create a permanent record that you
can come back and refer to in a year or three
years or ten years. Yeah, as you go about
achieving these goals, feel free to post
updates and say, hey, here's where I'm at
or Hey, this thing doesn't really work
for me or hey, like this, I thought
it wouldn't work, but it absolutely did work. Thank you so much for sticking with me this whole
way through this process. If you watch this
all in one sitting, I feel your pain because I recorded this all
in one setting. So yeah. I respect that a lot. And I just want to offer
a encouragement to you because it is
challenging and it is tiring to move in this direction to pursue
something like this in life. But it is incredibly rewarding. And I want to
encourage you in that. I want to say pursue that. And keep that mindset
as you get older and as you move through life and as you do accomplish these things, move on to the next thing,
keep, keep growing. Happiness in life comes
from continually growing. If you learn
something from this, please consider sending
if someone else send them your Skillshare referral link so that you get a free month. I mean, why not? And yeah, I just, I really want to
encourage you in accomplishing these things. Because it is, it's
incredibly invaluable and it's very enriching
for our lives.
