1. Presentation: Do you know that a small amount of time spent daily in a creative and relaxing activity can reduce your stress level regardless of any artistic experience or talent. Have you ever experienced the combined power of art and relaxing music through creative self-care activities. Do you know that art practice and music can help you access naturally a state of meditation and get you in touch with your deeper self, your inner presence. Stay with us and discover more. Stem and achiever underling. Hi, I'm Martin, question. And there were a couple living in Canada in the smart city of Saint Thomas in the province of Ontario. I am an artist, illustrator specializing can surface spectrum designed and our teacher, but also musician. I love playing different instruments. And my favorite one presently is the harm. I'm a composer, pianist, and music director. I love composing, improvising, and recording meditative Music. When I first heard Martin's music, I felt transported and connected to a higher sphere of consciousness. Marches music is indeed very beautiful with durable melodies and harmonies. It comes from the heart and speaks to the heart. And just for the little story, married, my favorite courageous thought spontaneously moved from my art studio to the music room where Martin plays piano. And I really love sitting on a little white carpet near the piano and working called my creative artistic projects. While Martin is improvising, composing, or playing his meditative Music. Stella has always marvelous ideas. She's very creative and has at the same time, a playful and deep approach to art. Making cart, while listening to Martin's meditative Music is helping me to access my own inner sphere of inspiration. And it also improves my creative flow and boosts my creativity. That's why through this class and through all the classes from our draw and relaxed series, we want to offer you a complimentary artistic and music experience. The purpose of music is to help you to relax and to provide an environment, a natural flow from within Kennedy's press in your art. Every class from these drawings, relax theory is based on a specific prompt for doodling and drawing or painting. The prompt for this class is home plants. It is organized in short, creative drawing sessions between ten to 15 minutes. There will be no speech commentaries. On the visual example of my step-by-step line drawings on the background of margins, original meditative Music. We invite you to giant this music and creative experience. And we hope you enjoy this class. 2. Three Ways to Make this Class Yours: You can follow this class in three different ways, which can be three steps for improvement. If you feel stuck in your creativity or if you feel like you don't know what to draw and how to draw it. Just start by following my examples and to yourself, my short step-by-step drawings. Of course, you can copy them in order to learn. In a short time, you will see that your drawing skills will improve and your creativity will start to flow naturally. If you feel more confident and to adjust a little bit of help to unlock a big and potential of your creativity. You can pick up some of my ideas, get some inspiration, and then make the drawings more personal, bring lots of variations. At the end, the result will be very different from my drawings. And it will be more personal and more speaking to you. If you feel very confident and you have already a lot of drawing and artistic skills, I would suggest that you skip my visual examples and that you concentrate only on the music and just let flow what comes from within you. Create jobs, very different, very personal doodles and sketches to the Bronx, given. 3. Materials: For this class, you don't need any sophisticated or expensive materials. You can use whatever you want or you have in your home. But I would recommend you to grab materials that you cannot erase, such as a marker, a pigment liner, a ballpoint pen, or ink. If possible, choose two different sizes. But you can also complete the whole process with a medium of the same size. I will use for this project. Black pigment liners into different sizes in order to have thick and very thin lines. For the paper, you can use any sketchbook paper without heavy texture. And even ordinary copy paper. Take ten to 20 minutes to be completely available for your drawing experience. If your drawings don't turn as you would like them to be. Just keep going con, don't be critical to yourself. Accept that your spontaneous drawings can be quirky, not proportionate. Maybe Macy, just keep going, can head and use those ten or 15 minutes. So throw off on your page a maximum of ideas to the prompts given the purpose of those 15 minutes of drawing and relaxing sessions is not to create a perfect finished art piece, but to unlock your creativity in a relaxed way to help you generate graphic ideas coming from within you and from your intuition and express them visually. Observe the improvements you make after 510 or 30 of those sessions. Improvements that will lead you to mastering your graphic language. Consider the accidents in a way that you give them a positive sense and try to transform them in something that serves your graphic expression. Or just try to experiment as the accidents can lead you to new ideas. Funded a comfortable quiet place. And before diving into the actual drawing session, let's start with a short breathing and relaxing exercise. 4. Preparatory Exercise: Relaxing Meditation: In this lesson, I want to give you a short exercise, which will be the entry to our drawing and relaxing session. It will help you to put aside all the thoughts, worries, and concerns of our daily life and access that better connection with your inner self. Start by choosing a positive affirmation that you might need presently or that resonates deeply with you. Such as, I am free of worries, or I am free of judgment. I am talented and intelligent. I am successful. I am happy, anti lava, who I am. I am at peace. I am a being with endless possibilities, et cetera. I offer you a list of short positive affirmations in the resource section of this course. You can go through and pick one of them or create your own. Once you have chosen your positive affirmation, go into the silence and put your attention upon your heart. Close your eyes and visualize your heart area. As the golden sun, radiating war and soothing light. This war bride and comforting light bands and develops all of your body. This is the magic light in which judgment, criticism, and worries are inexistent accepted. In this golden sun area, which is your heart area, you find only pure love, peace, and joyful, playfulness. Here you are at home. Here. You're connected with your higher self, your inner presence. Feel this connection and key beat during the following fall. Breathing exercise. Say mentally the affirmation you have chosen. Well, you take a deep breath, the air into your lungs, while issuing the same affirmation for the same length of time. Then exert an issue again, your positive phrase. Finally, hold again your breath for an equal length of time. When issuing for the fourth time your affirmation. Repeat the disquiet reading cycle several times until you feel comfortable relaxation. Come to your party. All right. 5. How to Draw Happy Home Plants with Simple Line : For this session, the 15 minutes, let's draw completely out of our reimagination. Yet be home plants. I will start to drawing with my thicker pen, the 0.5. permanent liner for the beak shapes. And I will keep the thinner, 1.050 for the details. Stores with simple lines and shapes. And try to keep as much as you can with your inner inspiration, which means listen to ideas that could pop up in your mind during the process. If it happens, incorporate them in your drawings, or if they have nothing to do with your drawings, but could be important for you. Just write them down on a separate sheet of paper in order to facilitate you to go into the silence, to relax some of the music, and to a maximum attention to your inner prompts and ideas. I will not make more commentaries during this drawing and relaxing session, I just leave you into the hands of your own inner self. Hello. And for all. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Right. Okay. Yeah. Right. Okay. Right. Okay. Okay. Okay. Right. The okay. During that time. 6. How to Draw Happy Cactuses with simple line (1): In this video, we invite her for another drawing and relaxing session with a slight variation of the initial prompt. Cactuses are often a lovely part of our whole planets. That's why this time I invite you to draw shall be cactuses s. In the previous video, I will offer you a step-by-step visual example of my line drawing process, but will remain silent in order to allow you to relax on the music, to access easier your own inner inspiration, and to bring your own variations on my visual examples. Thank you. Two. I love that. In 2013. Okay. Hello. Okay. To talk to Tony the Tiger. Ten. Ok. Right. Ok. Two. Okay. Right? Yeah. Thank you. 7. How to Draw Happy Cactuses with simple line (2): Sometimes 15 minutes could not be enough to fill a page with creative ideas. You depict some the level of details you want to add to your drawings. If you need more than 15 minutes, you can make longer drawing sessions. Or if you don't have enough time, just make a break. You can go back continued a few hours later. What are the most important is to keep practicing. You're tuning in creative skills and your conscious connection with your deeper sense, which are either voice from Leach comes your own personal experience. Yeah. Hi. Okay. Okay. Right. Four. Ok. We are retiring. Two. 8. Some Ideas to go Further: I want to share with you some ideas if you want to go further with this experience and with the drawings you have just created. Idea number one. Go beyond the line drawings and experiment with color. Once you have your grade of line drawings, feeling with colours. Colouring also has a very soothing, relaxing effect upon our minds, thoughts and feelings. Id number to choose one of your quirk in little doodles and draw it bigger on a new page of your sketchbook or on a separate sheet of paper. Throwing further change or refine some of its elements. And new details, motif, so textures and see how it evolves. Idea number three, Keep a digital sketchbook. If you'd like to create digitally. You can do this relaxing drawing practice directly on a digital sketchbook using a program such as procreate on iPad for example. Or you can also scan your paper drawings, then refine them and colored them digitally in procreate Photoshop, Illustrator or another program you might like. Idea number four, your quirky do those can serve big creative projects. Through this practice day after day, you will build your own creative library. Maybe in the near future, this personal visual library will inspire you further or helping, initiating or completing a great grade of project, such as illustrator story, or a children's book. Or maybe create your own custom designs for fabrics. Or why not bring to life your unique, very special gifts through all kinds of products. We do our own illustrations upon them. So don't neglected these simple greatest practice, which can easily become a 15 minutes daily routine. Enjoy the present time that look farther. 9.
