1. 1. Introduction: Hello, I'm Eloiza, and I'm here representing Bubbly Fox. What's Bubbly Fox? We're a new business and we make natural products like soaps, candles, bath salts, sugar, scrubs, and a variety of men's grooming products as well, like shaving creams, beard balms, beard oils. And we are here because we want to show you that some of these products are really easy to make and you can really surprise someone with them. So in this course, we want to teach you how to make our lavender spa day gift box. And what's that? I'll tell you. We're going to teach you products that usually see in a spa day like sugar scrub, bath salt, and four different types of soap. Isn't that amazing? You're gonna love it. And don't worry, we're going to provide you with a written guide of our project. So you can prepare ahead for each class. All the materials and the step-by-step will be there. So you just sit back and enjoy the videos. We're going to have a lot of fun together. And this is totally a project that you can do with your kids. So join them, bring your creativity and enjoy the course. 2. 2. Sugar Scrubs: Hello, Let's start our project with our sugar scrub. Today you're going to need 55 grams of granulated sugar, 15 grams of Melt and pour soap base, 20 grams of coconut oil, a quarter teaspoon of lavender, and three grams of olive oil. You're going to mix together. The soap base, the coconut oil, and olive oil. You're going to mix all together in a microwave safe bowl. Then melt in 15 seconds bursts. Now you can add your lavender essential oil. Mix it together. Then you can add your sugar. Mix it well, make sure all the sugars is coated with your oil mix. Now we're going to put it in mold. We, we're using a silicone mold. Make sure it's all smooth. And we're gonna leave it overnight. Now we're just unmolded and you can cut it. That's your criteria. You can cut as big as you want. Just make sure it's going to fit your container. Here we are going to use a four-ounce container and we're just going to put it all in there. They're now you're all set for your sugar scrub. Don't forget to share your creations with us. And next class we are going to learn bath salts. Stay tuned. 3. 3. Bath Salts: Today in our class we're going to do bath salts. You're going to need a 140 grams of Epsom salt, extra fine, 42.5 grams of pink sea salt, and quarter tablespoon of dried lavender. But you have to make sure you get all the lumps out of the Epsom salt. You can even help with your hands because you can feel them better. Just make sure you get them all. Now we want to mix your pink sea salt and your Epsom salts together. Now you can add your lavender buds and mix them really well. Now you can put your lavender essential oil. We're going to use 0.5 milliliters. So just a few drops. Here we are using a 225-gram jar. And you can just pour your mixture all in there. And that's it. You have your bath salts already. Next class, we're going to do soaps. Stay tuned. Don't forget to share your creations with us. 4. 4. Soaps: Hello, In this class we're going to learn, soaps you're going to need mica to color. We're going to choose purple, but you can choose the color you prefer. 7.5 milliliters of lavender essential oil, soap molde. Lavender buds. Or you can use poppy seeds and 400 grams of melt and pour soap base. You're going to cut your soap base in little pieces just to make it easier to melt. Then you can put them in the microwave-safe bowl. And you can microwave in thirty-seconds bursts until they are all melted. To make it easier for you to color your soap. You want to disperse your mica in rubbing alcohol and then mix with your melt and pour. Base. You can add as much as you want. The more you add, the more purple you're going to get. Right now. We're adding just a little bit because we want to divide in two parts to make two shades of purple, the darker and the lighter ones. Now you can add your lavender essential oil to your base. Now the fun begins. For our first soap. We chose to pour our base in our mold. Just as simple as that. And at the end, you want to spritz a little bit of rubbing alcohol on top so you get rid of the bubbles. Now we're adding a few lavender buds just to make a prettier and a little bit of something on your soap. So here we are going to divide our soap base into two. We're going to mix more mica to make a darker shade. Again, disperse it in, rubbing alcohol first. Just mix as much as you want until you get the shade you like. Here we are adding both of them at the same time just to give a little effect in your soap. Again, don't forget to spritz the rubbing alcohol on top. This one, we're just gonna do a darker shade of purple. And the last, you can add a few lavender buds to the bottom. Try to play a little bit with your darker shade. Then you can add your other one on top. Again just to make things playful when different, creative. Use your imagination. We're going to let our soap sit overnight and then we can unmold them. Be careful. You don't want to break your soap. And look, it's beautiful. Here's the one we poured together and the one with lavender buds on the bottom. And there's the simple purple one. So you want to get a peeler and cut the hard edges of your soap just to make it easier to handle it. Now you have your soaps. Your next class going to be our gift box. Don't forget to share your creations with us. Stay tuned. 5. 5. Gift Box: Welcome to our final class. Now you're going to learn how to assemble your gift box. We're going to start with your soaps. We chose a twine. And here we're going to just do some wrapping around. Your soap, make a beautiful bowl at the end. You can choose whatever you want to do two or three rounds around your soap. Just make it as pretty as you want. You can make them all the same, or it can choose to make them different. Just go with your imagination, use your creativity. We wanted to keep it simple in this video. So that's why we chose the twine. But you can use whatever you like. Now with your sugar scrub, we choose am adhesive jute tape. So you're just going to peel the back part and then adjusted to your container. And then on top of that, just to make it prettier and give a little bling, a piece of gold string on it. With your bath salts. We chose the Twine again, just to make a simple, give a little, a little bowl. At the top. Again, you can use your imagination and choose whatever suits you best. Be creative. It's your gift. Here we chose a heart-shaped box just to make it personal. Now you can put all your products in there. Oh, and here's an extra you can put a loofah. So the person who's getting the gift box can enjoy that. You can include a loofah, a brush, whatever gives that special touch. Here you have your spa day gift box all done. Congratulations. Don't forget to share your gift box with us. We'll love to see what you've made. 6. 6. Thank you!: It was a lot of fun for me to walk you guys through this spa day projects. Did you guys enjoy that?
