1. Introduction: awesome. So if you could master just one aspect off Instagram it would be creating, engaging an authentic content that gets out there as far as possible because that is what's going to equate to more followers and growing your brand as quickly as possible. So that's what we're here to master in this course together. How we're gonna do this is gonna make sure that each piece of content you create is created as easily and as quickly as possible is highly engaging and gets out there as the highest chance of going viral as possible. Therefore, getting as many people back to your account and also is very specific and relevant unauthentic to your brand. So we make sure that we're targeting the right people at the on instagram and connecting with the exact person who is out type of audience. If that sounds good to you, I'm gonna show you these strategies that are working in this year on instagram in order to get all of this done for you. Starting with the types of content you need to be posting phases that you need to actually progress the route the instagram skyscraper strategy. If you haven't heard of that one. I'm excited to join you in that lecture. We're gonna go through the three top engagement boosting strategies for your content. And last, I'm gonna show you how to be able to find unlimited amounts of content that you can very easily and very quickly post your profile I'm looking forward to seeing in the next lecture . 2. 3 Content Phases: So this is the exciting stuff. Now we're talking about instagram content and of course, we need to stop with what is the purpose of the Instagram content? A lot of people go out there and they just start posting random things on instagram. Random photos, random things about that business or brand or about themselves. They're not actually asking themselves the question. Why am I posting this? What is the purpose off me? Posting this and way need to make sure that we're answering that question so that we can improve the content that we post on instagram with the understanding of what it's trying to achieve for us. So there are three reasons that you will be posting content on incident and this is a really cool framework that you need to keep in the back of the mind. And any time you post a piece of content, you need to be asking yourself, Ah, you optimizing for one of these three reasons or one of these three purposes off posting content. The 1st 1 is engagement and reach so 70% off the content you can put out there on instagram is going to be to increase your engagement and to keep to increase your reach. 20% is going to be increased in your trust and your infinity out powerful. It is to increase your affinity with the audience, the amount of people that you take action on your product because you've got that base level of trust. So that's why would dedicate 20% of all our content to make sure we're building up this trust with that audience and, of course, 10% of your content and some in some cases, 5% in some cases, a lot lower than that. But I think it's safe and very powerful. You have 10% of your content traffic toe website back to your instagram profile, so let's go through a couple of examples. Off this. On left is a photo that we posted in our luxury freedom formula camp. You can see it's a really cool Lamborghini that changes colors based on the remote that's in this person's hand, much off it's really not, but it looks amazing, and it's an incredibly viral piece of content, and the whole purpose of this content is to get people to find out paid, so it's so violent people are gonna be tagging their friends, tagging their family members in there and say, Hey, check this out. And then all these people are going to start actually finding an organically discovering in the Discover tab in their explore tab, our content coming back to our profile and then obviously following us. So it getting increased reach with this content, the Myanmar Kat Club is the same. It's incredible. Photo a cat in front of the Eiffel Tower, and basically people want to share that. People want to like that, and that's gonna organically go very far. And you could see they've got some cool quarter actions in the bio, which will be getting to in the next lectures and next modules. But that content is designed to go viral as possible. Once you've got some content going as vile as possible, you can understand that people in their coming back to your account and following that means the next 20% of your content should be focused about building trust and affinity with these people so you can see in the left there's the Smoothie of the month by juice press. We're basically just showing people their products and showing him how good their products are and the one on the right. I'll true at the same time is dead. Mass is showing you some behind the scenes photos off inside his studio. He's in music producer, and both of these photos are really good at building trust. You know, one of them shows the product off without a hard push for a sale and just lets the customer and the follower on instagram see your product build trusted. You understand what you do understand that you're a high quality service. On day one of the rat shows you that you are just a person and you, you know, it's very casual photo not well lit. It's not facing the camera. It's just showing you that he's a medicine that someone you can trust and you so they get an affinity built with them. When you see behind the scenes photos like this, we're gonna show you how you could do that on your account. And lastly, you wanna have 10% of your content pushing towards website off back to your instagram profile. So low baby out the Mud is a album by a little baby. Underscore one on Instagram and you can see this is traffic Post. He's obviously put lots of stuff up there on his INSTAGRAM account, reaching people in love. I love content up their building trust album cover out there, and he says, Out now on all platforms between cheating going Listen, we can go final platforms and this is his sales pitch purchases how he makes money, and this is where he wants to drive traffic to. You can see the face Clan on the right have person this cool animated photo and it's off a shirt that they actually sell in real life. And this is basically their sales pitch. Do cop the show that face Clinton. Come get the show face crime dot com on Go. That's just literally just selling this shirt. But if every one of their posts were sales, people are not going to be engaged and trust them, and they're not gonna be able to reach new people since he's just 10% off your content. So I want you to make sure that you understand these are phase. It's there's three categories, but they are actually done one after another. Phase one is to reach a targeted relevant party, so you can see it's a $10,000 give away, and all you have to do is follow his account Andi has entered, he says. Hence you can increase your chances by liking commenting, tagging friends using the hashtag pay it forward over time every time I post so getting people to not only come and follow him but give him engagement on his post and he's giving $10,000 away in order to do this face to is obviously building trust. So here he is now is an authority with his arms crossed. What do you want? That life is called a 6 to 18 months away from happening if you keep working for, But it's a motivating entrepreneurial life advice quote that's getting people to lack it. It's not gonna goes. Viral is a $10,000 giveaway, but it's really good building trust with his audience and sings face. And then when he can post something that's a direct and go to his Instagram bio, and you can see he's got a direct link to his website where he is selling products, that's when you can actually sell people and That's when 10% of your content should be focused around gaining traffic. And even having in your bio link is in bio. They go back to Tyler Butts Bio because of one reached his reach them with viral content that they lacked in the forties. Count to his built trust over time that this has happened in just one post. But this happens over the period of, say, a month when they've seen 6 to 10 off. These personally really start to like him and understand him, and then face three is when they take action traffic toe website back to your instagram profile. 3. Content Types: awesome. So now we know the purpose behind out Instagram continent. Every time we post, we're going to be asking yourself what is the purpose of it? I wanna walk you through the actual types of content that you can post on Instagram. So there are three main types of instagram content that you can post to your account Instagram photos, instagram videos and instagram stories and instagram photos and videos. Very similar. You post them to your actual INSTAGRAM account and they're going to stay there forever. Instagram stories, on the other hand, normally staying for just 24 hours and they'll disappear. We're going to get into the purpose of each of these types of content together and walk you through some examples. But you need to understand that photos and videos going the category together on instagram stories. Aaron its own category off content. So what are instagram photos? Instagram photos are an image that you post to your instagram profile. Very straightforward, very basic. I'm sure you've seen a lot of Instagram photos on Instagram. Being a user of it, you can see there's a tram and that's pretty tram. In Melbourne, there's a plate off cheesy stuff, French fries or curly fries or something like that. There's a Kellogg's Loops is a digital artwork and that Geo has posted this amazing further of a shock videos at similar to photos. And they will also go on your instagram profile page and you can see there's Chipotle's posted this person making a burrito bowl really efficiently. You've got buzzfeed tasty posting a recipe here in form of a video that s P N's got a video off. Some go running on a baseball field. So essentially the photos and the videos are both going to be posted to your profile page. Here are the photos And here the videos all going to be posted to profile page and then instagram stories. So Instagram stories are ephemeral form off photo and videos, as you can see in the examples below. You've got videos and left and the right and a photo in middle, and they disappear after 24 hours. So they're Hlinka ble, and they have a very high engagement rate, and we're gonna show you exactly how we're going to use them to grow at your accountant. But you need understand that could be both a video and a photo, and they disappear after 24 hours. So I want to walk you through the pros and the cons off each type off, content that you can post to instagram so you can see at the top. We've got photo, video and story, which we just went through together, and I want to go for left from top to bottom on the categories of what? What? Why we would actually use that type of content so you can see that photos are very easy to create, where videos and not easy to go. It's gonna take a lot for you to create a video, a lot more effort that goes into that. And the story is again easy to create because it could be a photo or a very casual video if you're putting it video inside of the story Photos don't have high engagement rates, but videos do. Many people are going to stop in much of video because they auto play on the instagram news feet and stories have ridiculously high engagement rates. Hi, veracity. So photos. Yes, you can go viral with a photo posted to instagram account. You're more likely to go viral. And this is a really cool strategy by posting high viral morality videos to your instagram profile, such as the Lamborghini one that we showed you in the last lecture. And stories don't have the ability to go viral because they're not as shareable and not as discoverable. If you don't follow on, account as the other two tops of posts. Casual trust builder is a very big ones. Casual trust building is basically showing behind the scenes content, showing very casual content that has that can improve trust and improve affinity with the audience. And this is where stories really do excel. Their much more casual, laid back type of content that you can post descriptive caption. You don't get a descriptive catch and captured on your story that you do on your photo and video. So you do want to be making sure that you're taking advantage of this. One more person. Your photos and videos and link herbal remember, photos and videos are link. Oh, but stories. You can actually put a Lincoln there and have a cold action for people to go visit your website or go off site wherever you want them to go. So what does this actually mean? This means that stories are really, really good for increasing trust. An affinity and Donald traffic back to your website for your business one because they disappear and go away. Two. You're not stuck with a bunch of traffic post on your instagram profile to because you can really have something laid back something that's very easy to make and something that gives people an insight into your business and builds trust with them. Video videos A great for reach and trust that much better for reach on photos and much benefit trust. But both of these photos and videos excel in the 1st 2 categories. Whether you want to reach more people, you want to make your instagram page really discoverable by relevant and targeted people, but don't know that you already exist. And then you want to build that trust in affinity with them when we're making out content when I keep these in month instagram stories are going to be used for trust and traffic and videos and photos. They're going to be used for reach and trust 4. The Content Skyscraper: Why is it that would actually even create our own content? So two reasons one is to improve upon the content that's out there and two is to personalize it. So improving on the content that's out there, meaning we take something that's going viral would take something with really incredible results, and we can actually get better results once we understand the framework of what made it go viral in the first place, it's and then we can improve that content and repost it and haven't do even better than that first viol account that shared it. And even I keep talking in the frame off being vile, but something that is building trust. If we can look at it, would be a stat in the industry that you compare the posted, and it could be a stat that helps you build trust with that industry. I helped to build trust with that user. Then you'd probably going to want to improve that and repost that under your account. So it's not just about creating engagement and reach, but it's also about getting that trust and affinity go top ourselves. And the second factor, of course, is personalizing that So if you did find someone in your industry say you sell So you run a bakery, you see another bakery, have a promotion on their bakery with a strong traffics piece of content. You will be have a copy that use that frame like that, worked for them and put in your own branding. Put in your own products, put in everything, just plug and play and get the same results that they got on that traffic post. So improving content. So this is the theory called the sky s capers. The skyscraper theory. So it's about improving people's content. You can see here there is a skyscraper in the building and you want to see these as instagram posts. Which posts have done the best. And this is with in a niche. So this isn't within the one blue city, and it's one blue city can be say, we run a stick with bakery. Um, and these are all the posts in the niche off bakery, and you can see there's this one post that did exceedingly well. It's gone viral. It's got a lot of engagement on a lot of people have shared it and discovered it what do we do? We can take that exact same formula and improve upon it to get even more success and skyscraping build just one story higher than the original Peter Content because of improved on its to, say, it's 10 tips for Making the Best Cake You. We could create a post that says 12 tips for making the best cake. Make it on high production value and repost that content. NFO have improved that with in out niche, so but you need to go to the Discover tab and choose your post that has performed really wealth. You wanna look at the use up who has posted the image and make sure that that is their stand outpost. And if it's not, you can go and see their other posts and see which jalape Post has the most engagement and is the most standout golden piece of content that you can then improve. So this is an example that we did for you. It was glazed artists on Artisan. Not exactly sure how that said, Um, but you can see they posted to jam down that's stacked on top of each other, and it went quite viral and was really well shared. So Angelina Bakery, New York City, has obviously seen this have seen the type of content that's done well and they could improve on it, such as posting this much bigger, much more delicious looking, chocolatey doughnut. And you can see that they've taken that golden content from their competitors. And they like we can do this, too. We have these products, we have better looking. Things have improved upon it, and every person that keeping the same underlying structure off the photo that has caused it to be successful in the first place. One of the keys to the content success that has done well in your needs because that is how we know we have to improve it. You have to write down the keys to it, and then you have to write down how you can optimize and maximize that key Rio Knicks saying how key to their success was deliciousness off the donor, how yummy they looked. And this next photo, the one that Angelina's Bakery in New York City improved looks so much more delicious than the 1st 1 that just improved the factors that made it viral in the first place. He's another one. Height beast. If you are, I sneak ahead. Or if you are selling shoes and your instagram account, you can go and seeing you need These shoes did really, Really well, you like cool West on issues too. We're gonna go model these in the street in a person with cool broke a background because we know that this sort of content this so the shoe is popular. We know it will do really well again. You can improve the content by not only, um, just copying it over into your own products. But you could do something like this. This is building trust and affinity with your with your audience. You can see Steve Jobs courts there on the left. That plane one. And you can put his face up there. You can put the white text on the bottom. You can still put the verified tick in there if you wanted. You want to see how you can recycle and improve the successful content on instagram that you have found in order to make it do better for your account. So this is the 2nd 1 you can see that little animation showed you have taken something from a different mish now, So we go in, you can see this red knish over here is say, we're a bakery, that blue Aneesh. But we see something in, say, the sports of parallel nish say Nike's done something really cool, and what we can do is we can actually take that content from Nike and make it applicable toe al niche. If they did a really cool mix up video on their products that walk through through the store, you can also be like, Wow, that did really well, we're gonna do a really cool mix up video with fun music in the background. That's a walk through off our store, even though it's a bakery in other sports apparel store, because we know that people are going toe lack it still, so we can personalize it. It's called and bring it back to our nation. Bring it back to our brand. So here's a good example of that. So you take successful content and make it relevant for your audience so you can tweak it. Quote. You can add your own branding to it. You can include your products in it. Basically, take the initial foundation of it, and you bring it back to your own branding. Put your own quotes and they include your own products in there and you make it yours. And this is gonna help people build affinity and trust with your account and not just you sharing other people's content. So you can see over here on the right is a great example. Off this and see, here they are talking about something that is not even in the industry. They're talking about rust destroying iron on mindset, destroying a person have taken something far out of the industry, and they've made it a fun fact that did you know, and they got rusty I and and then none Rusty I and extra Children. It's like this is not in their needs, but they've taken something that's successful and made it relevant and personalize it for then you need to know that we can also create create this incredible content, not just in the morality part of things, not just in the engagement and reach part of things, but we can create and model and personalized content that other people have posted by just looking at what has done well, so on the left here, he's a great great example of how to build trust. This person is a dress makeup, and here is a video time lapse of them making address. And instead of just posting that dress and being like, hey, his $1000 for the stress and that yours, you can actually see the process that I've gone through that the labour they've gone through. You build trust, you build affinity like, Wow, this person worked hard on this dress and you really just want to know more about them. You wouldn't want to see more photos and videos of it, so you can copy this by doing it Time lapse of safe. You run a bakery, how we make out jam doughnuts and you could just do a time lapse and like, Wow, that's amazing. That's delicious. And you can take this content that did well in address world and bring it back to your niche in the bakery world or whatever nation is that you're in. He's another one again. I'm gonna keep highlighting this because it's very, very powerful, but it's creating behind the scenes content you can see this is one from sidemen. How many calories could you eat in a day? Behind the scenes photos from this week's Seidman? Sunday So you can see he just eaten a lot of calories. It's on the ground. It's soy is hurting. There's a camera in his face that makes people want to watch that video when it comes out. It makes people see that these just people who are having fun and doing their thing and they don't need t be a high production quality value on you can very easily do that for you . Take a photo of the of the bakery kitchen. Take photo people in bakery hats or whatever it is you need. You can very easily replicate that and improve it and personalize it. Your niche. One last one is a sales one. You can see Alberts Cursory has taken this Amazon fresh promotion, and they have used it. This is example, of course, to their own benefit, giving a big Groupon off their 1st $300 delivery links in the buyer for it. But they've taken the framework and the personalized content that other people are posting , such as Amazon, that have proven to do well This is a very successful piece of content that is doing it incredibly well. So that is what you need to know. You need to know that you can not only improve. You could personalize this content that you go out there and find, but at the core of it, you can't just make it up on the spot. You want to go out and see which ones and which piece of content are really optimized and personalized for your capture. 5. Top 3 Content Secrets: awesome. So welcome to the top three Instagram content keys. This is going to be a quick one, but one that you don't want to miss because we are going to show you the three main content keys that you need to be mindful of when starting all growing your instagram account to boost your engagement in booster reach and to keep people trust and affinity strong and to be able to sell them. So we got three main content keys and a bonus one for you as well. So this is them in symbolic form and we're gonna go through them one by one. And if you can muster all three off these keys, your content is going to perform incredibly well. So the 1st 1 is consistency. You need tohave an insanely consistent schedule, which means you need to post at least a minimum off once a week. You want to be posting more than that, But once again, you wanna be modeling what of the successful accounts in your niche doing and posted that schedule. But consistency is key at a regular time and maintain high quality content. If you can do this on Instagram, you can trust that they can promote your account further into their marketplace because if you're just posting very sporadically high quality content, low quality content, high quality locally instagram is gonna be more nervous to promote your account to the general public in the Discover tab in the viral sharing ways, because they know that it's a once off piece of content and not something that is consistent. So this is probably the biggest one that you could do is make sure that you are posting as consistently as possible high quality content that instagram can then rely on you to be doing that and therefore consistently promote your account. So I want to read you this quote filed by nearby Health, he says If you make a habit of posting several times a day and in transition down a few times a week, you're going to lose followers in general, less engagement per posts. This means that the best broken posting frequency for Instagram is the posting frequency that you can consistently maintain for the rest of your natural life. So this is a really, really good quote because I want to make sure that you could see don't post three times a day if you can't maintain it because Neil Patel has had this experience, he says, basically, the more often you can post, the bigger your accounts going to get. But if you can't maintain that schedule, if you can't maintain that habit, the account is gonna eventually die. And instagram going to be not focused on promoting your account because they can't depend on you to consistently come up with these high quality content and share that once they shared. If you know you're doing that, the next time we're going to go on to someone who is and stop promoting them. So second, second, key to your content is posting videos. Now this seems a little bit off. Not like a key, but more like way should post for us anyway. But I wanted to show you exactly how powerful videos on Instagram they get 38% more engagement than images, and they get double the amount of comments that then images get. And if you, of course, I always putting him maintain high quality content because you don't want to be putting out anything but high quality continent there. But on average, if you can produce videos really quickly because that's the only downside to videos is the production time. If you confined to recreate and improve videos really quickly and post them, you're going to get far more engagement. Then you would on photos, and your account is going to grow much quicker. The trust and the affinity is going to grow much quicker because people can actually see people moving in the photos, and it's much easier to trust them. So there's of just a plain video speedo of someone swimming through a pool in a Speedo swimsuit that gets 38% more engagement than any other post on their page. Get a photo on that page because that is just on average. How much more engagement videos get, so make sure you're using videos as a big pillar off your content. That is, if you comfortable creating them or you can find them on other people's pages. The third key is to start a conversation Now. This is a very quick and easy key, but you need to do it because it's very powerful. You need to start a conversation. You can ask a question or in engaging comment in your caption like who's out in Vancouver tonight? And then you can continue that conversation by replying to the comment. So this is going to increase your engagement through the roof. People want to see a lot of comments on instagram posts. So if you're a someone in Vancouver, maybe you're a bar in Vancouver and you put a photo the binds that Who's out in Vancouver tonight? People are going to be like I'm out. I'm going to this place. They're going to answer those questions that you're asking it to make sure that you can always ask a question in the description off your photo and then continue that conversation and boost your engagement even further by replying to those comments. Now the bonus tip. Geo tags. This is a shocking fact, but there's a 79% higher engagement rate for photos that get posted with geo tags. It's very easy to DEA tag your photo. When you're about to hit publish. They'll be at a location place that you can add the geo tag of whatever location you in. You don't actually have to be in that location to if you need to add a location that's not near you. Totally fine if you want to increase your engagement using this geo tag strategy, but make sure you are JIA tagging your post, especially if you're a local business, especially if your business in a specific country that only operates in that country make sure you're tagging that when you post and you're going to see much high engagement and much higher success with your instagram content. 6. Reposting Content: so a very important lecture here. Voter licensing, an image ownership. So we need to talk about this because way modeling other people's content were re sharing. Other people's content isn't allowed on Instagram. What is going on? Why is everybody else doing it? Let's chat about it, guys. So here's the official statement from Instagram. We can provide you with any legal advice if you're not sure what you're legally authorized . If you are legally are authorized to use the content, do not post it to Instagram. Posting copyrighted content without permission might be a violation. Well, if you're already person that you should remove from Instagram, that is Instagram's official statement, and they have to be as harsh as possible because Instagram are liable for any content that gets posted on their app. Now what we need to ask yourself is, Do we need promotion to post other people stuff? The answer is yes. It's important to always ask permission before posting anyone else's intellectual property . So you need to understand that officially and Instagram are not enforcing it. But they are saying that you need to have permission to post anyone else's stuff. But where does that leave us. So this is where we really need to chat about it. We need to know that we need to ask for permission. We need to know that we need to credit the original artist and the creator if we ever use something that is someone else's photo. And we also know that there are plenty of sites to use public domain images and public domain videos. Um, and we can just get all our stuff in there, never even have to worry about that. But what we need to tell you is everybody on Instagram is sharing everybody else's stuff. So, for example, if you created a really cool, um, graphic and you shared it on your instagram page and someone reach sounds like Hey, I'd like to share this with my audience. Do you mind if I posted on my page and tag? You said people come back and following you, you'd be like, absolutely Please go share my stuff and tagged me some people coming back and finding the original oddest of the original creator off it. That's why you need to tag people in it. But the thing is, nobody asks on Instagram. Lots of I'm not saying that you shouldn't ask, but I'm saying that nobody asked. Everybody just seems to be stealing other people's content out there, re posting it as if it would their own. What I need to advise you to do is share the content that works that is viable if you ask permission, and if you tag the person who posted it originally and their most the time matching, not be the original creator off that content. But what you need to be aware of is you need to ask permission and tagged that person to best your knowledge, who was originally creating that content and then three, go ahead with re sharing that person's work and be prepared. If someone reaches out to with image ownerships or claim that wasn't a person, you ask permission that you can take it down straight away, but you need to go out and you see what your competitors it doing because a lot of people aren't even asking for permission, and at the moment there's no consequence toe that. So if you wanted to play closer to that side of the fence, that is your choice and I don't I don't officially recommend it, but it's very, very successful in growing your account. I would very highly recommend you ask permission and very high recommend you tagged the Creator, even though most people are not doing either of those things. The last thing is, this is a great example off Airbnb who have a lot of liability, and they have to actually get permission to ask to use people's content so you can see on the left Blackbird fly. It's at home sweet home. I think I'll stay a while. This was a photo of an Airbnb apartment. A stayed in an Airbnb said. We'd love to share this shot on A B and B social channels and materials. My Greedo Turner conditions something link the photo like they basically asked, Can we use this photo? Blackbird Fly replied the link to the photo on Bond. The Hashtags they needed. And then you can see a B and B, then posted it on their own account. In credited the original post up back Blackbird Fly and you can see they a little description of it to get the exact same. Further someone else's content, that person on there, but they ask permission in the first place. Most people don't ask this permission. And once again, if you do want to air on the side of not actually waiting to get permission from someone, a lot of people are doing it and it grows your count really quickly. But I can't officially recommend that. And I am officially recommend that you do us permission. And no matter what you're doing, always tagged the original Creator just because that is what you should be doing. It's the original work and it doesn't detract from you. It actually adds to your photo when you tag the original creator because people, obviously, whether you're not creating all of this stuff and they think it's very nice and ethical and moral, which it is to actually tagged the people who came up with it. And if anyone ever reaches out with any copyright claims or anything, always take it down straight away 7.
