1. What You'll Get in This Course: This course we will give you a unique behind the scenes with the secret formula of the software that I use to create my own online courses. In this course, we'll be using OBS Studio, which is a very powerful program that allows you to make amazing videos that you can use to create your own online courses, YouTube channels, video tutorials and more. We will also learn how to connect OBS with Zoom or any other video conference platform to dramatically increase the quality of your online teaching courses or even your business video conferences. This course covers everything you need from improving your microphone quality and removing any background noise to adding PowerPoint presentations, web browser views, and more into your videos. We will also learn how to turn your smartphone into a webcam, how to add a green screen effect and many more features. And the best part of this is that OBS Studio is free. I will also teach you some simple video editing techniques that you will need for publishing your videos after recording them. As well as how to create a YouTube channel and design the thumbnails, profile, and banner images for your videos. If you're looking to create amazing online courses, videos, or even improving your business video conferences or online classes. This course is an excellent choice. 2. OBS Studio Overview and Install: Okay, so now we're going to install OBS. And for that we're just going to go to Google and search for OBS. And it will be the first in the search bar, so we click on it. So OBS is a free software that's very good for video recording and live streaming. And it works really well because you have different scenes and inside that since you can put different sources, this makes it very good to modify how you're different scenes will look like and to change between different types of backgrounds or different types of settings basically. Yeah, OBS has lots of features. You can play around with the audio, create different scenes, put some transitions. This is the program that we're gonna be using. So for that we just click on Download. So select what kind of computer you have. In my case, I have a Mac computer. I just click and it will start downloading it. But I already have a download, so I'm just going to cancel it. So in your case, just wait for it to download. And well, while it's downloading, you can feel free to check out the OBS Studio overview or the OBS QuickStart guide. And you will learn more about how OBS works. What are some of the settings you can put? Once you open OBS, you know a little bit more about how it works. Yet this one and this one, how to add your sources for video, tests, your stream, the different recording settings. So that's my recommendation. Once you have OBS installed, it will look like this. You have different scenes and inside the scenes you have sources you can play with the audio. And yet here's basically how it looks like. 3. OBS Settings: Okay, so now that we have OBS installed, we're going to click on the settings. For that. We go to the bottom right corner and we click on settings. On the General tab, you can change the theme, you can change the language. For example, if you speak another language, you can just look for it. And most of these ones, we will just leave them the way they already are, basically the default settings. The next step we have a stream. For streaming. You can select whatever platform you use. For example, you can click on Twitch, or if you stream on Facebook, select this one. Youtube streaming Twitter. Or you can just click on Show All. And there are tons of platforms where you can do streaming basically, yeah, there are maybe around a 100 platforms. You are just select your platform if you want to do streaming. And then you can connect your account or use the streaming key in order to put it together. But in our case, we're not going to do streaming at the moment. So we're going to go for output, and this is probably the most important part that you will use. The output has two different modes. There's the advanced mode and the simple mode. So if you want to keep it simple with all of the default settings, you just click on simple. And the video bit rate, I like to keep it at around 4 thousand k bps. You can just leave the default encoder, which is the x2 C64, the audio bid rate. You can leave it as it is on the recording section. You can select where you want your files to be. So make sure you know where this is. For example, if you record a video and you cannot find it, here is where you can find it. It will be on this path. And if you click on browse, you can change where you want those files to be downloaded to. And the next part is going to be the recording quality. So you can just leave it at high-quality, medium file size. Or if you want something even better, you can go for indistinguishable quality or lose less quality. But in my case, I'm just gonna leave it at high. The recording format. You can select MP4 or MOV. In my case, I have a Mac computer and I was having some trouble when he came to mp4 files, basically switched it to MOV files. And that fixed my problem. If you encounter any problems, for example, where you want to edit that file after it's finished and it gives you some issues. Try also dot MOV and that might actually fix your issue. You add this depends on your computer. The next one is going to be the encoder, and you can just leave it by default, the H.264 low CPU usage. This will be this simple settings if you want to go more advanced. And these are the settings that I use. I always use the advanced settings. We go for advanced and we have different tabs. We can choose our settings for streaming, recording audio and the replay buffer. The replay buffer, you don't really need it and the audio, you can just leave it as cities sexually. Let's try the streaming ones. You can just leave them by default if you want. In my case, I have the Apple encoder, but if this one doesn't work for you, for example, if you get issues trying to edit that file, you can switch to the default one, the basic one, which is the x2 C64 mode, and select that one. But if you want to use the default one, the one that your computer recommends, you can leave it here. And the bit rate you can leave it at around 4 thousand kVp is key free image interval around to the profile at high. But if you do not have these settings and you have the H.264, you can just select this once again, you can choose the rate control CBR, bit rate. We can change this one to 40 thousand. The keyframe interval, you can leave it at 0 and the CPU usage preset. You can leave it at very fast. But this might actually make your computer like overheat a little bit or use too much CPU. And if this is the case on your computer, the higher you go, the less CPU it will use. The lower you go, the more CPU it's going to use. You can leave it at very fast. Or in my case, I was having some trouble. There were times when I had to put it at ultrafast. This depends on your computer. So play around with the settings. If one doesn't work, then try the other one. If you have too much CPU, then go higher. I'm going to leave it at very fast. And this depends on your computer as well. Profile. I'm going to select high-profile. And the tune, I'm just going to leave it at none. This is the streaming settings. If we go to the recording settings, we have the option. For example, right here, the encoder, where we can select the US stream encoder. Basically the settings that you have, the streaming will be the same for recording. So you can just leave it like this and select the US, the stream encoder if you want. And if it is doesn't work for you, you can change it. And the recording format can be MOV or MP4. So if you have a Windows computer, I would recommend MP4. And if you have issues with your Mac computer, you can select MOV. Yeah. The next one, I'm going to leave it at MOP. And the encoder, you can select the default encoder. For example, you might cases the apple encoder. And if this is the case for you, you just change the bid rate to 40 thousand and put it at a high profile. But it's very likely that your computer might be an x2 C64. This one is kind of like the basic one for most computers. So if this is the case for you, you just select this one. Change the bid rate to 4 thousand. Ultra fast or very fast. The profile is high. Basically have the same settings on the H.264 as you heard with the streaming one. This is my recommendation, but this depends a lot on what computer you have. And the next one. But one thing about here, the bid rates. The higher the bit rate, the larger the file size will be. I keep it at around 4 thousand if you want to hire size, kind of like a little bit of a better quality, you can go for around 6 thousand. This is if you're going to go for at ten ADP video. So in my case, I just left it at 4 thousand. Any work quite well as well. The next one is going to be the audio settings. I like to keep it at around 48. This is the only change I did basically for the audio. The next one is going to be the video. So this one here we have the base canvas, and this refers to this big square where you're going to have your videos. And 1920 by 1080 is like the default 1080 P resolution for it. If you want to change this. So this will look like this, like a normal video. And if you want to change this, for example, to a kind of like a Tiktok type of video. You can just switch them around. So in this case, it will be 1080 by 1920. And I'm going to put the same ones here for n, The resolution. If I click on Okay, you will know or apply right here. You will see what happens. Right here. It switched. This is kind of like the resolution, like the cell phone resolution, kind of like Tiktok videos or YouTube shorts kind of resolution. If you want this one, a video like this, you can just change the settings right here. But in my case, I'm going to leave it at 1920 by 1080, which is the one for YouTube videos, the computer video type. And then apply. Now we have the big one again and the frames per second. I like to keep it at around 30. But in your case, if you're streaming, for example, some video games where there's a lot of movement. You can move it up to 60. This one will have more movement. You can see the frames going faster. So you can see the movement more, kind of like what's the word I'm looking for? More smooth. If you're making kind of like some cinematic video, you can leave it may be at around a 25, but in my case, I leave it at 30. The next setting is the hotkeys. So this one is quite interesting. For example, we can select a key where whenever we click on it, it will start to do something. For example, start streaming. I'm going to select option one, Control one. And what this makes is that what this does is that whenever I click on option one, it will start the streaming. And I can also change it for stop streaming. I can select option to. Whenever I click option two, it will stop at option one it will start. So here you can also play around with these settings. This is for streaming, and you can also put it for recording. So make sure you know which one it is. Streaming is for. Live streaming recording is for making videos. So in my case recording I can put Control R. And to stop, I pressed the same one. Whenever, whenever I click on options are, it will start and stop. And you can do other options. For example, you want to pause the recording without fully stopping it. You can press Option P or Control P. What I like on this one is the scenes that you can select. For example, option three for a scene. And these switches to sin one. Whenever I click on option three is seen one. And if you make more sense, for example, seen two centuries in for, they will also come up here. And that's when you can basically switch between scenes. You make basically a hotkey that allows you to switch. For example, in one scene you might have your main camera. Then you click on s2 and it switches over, for example, for, for example, to your Google Chrome where people can see what you're writing or what you're doing on the computer. Then you can switch to seem three and you can have the camera and Google Chrome on the same page. And one thing to notice, if you press the backspace key, it will switch over to the backspace key. So do not erase it like that. Because this means that if you press backspace, that change of scene would be the backspace key. Make sure you click on this one to remove it. Don't press the backspace key. Remove this one and just remove them right here. Okay? Or you can press this one, the trash can. And then we have the advanced settings. And for this one, you don't really have to click on these things. You can actually play around with the hotkey focus behavior. You can select this one, never disabled the hotkeys. And this means that whenever you click on it, you don't have to be on the main window. It will change the scene. This can be quite useful in some scenarios. I'm going to select never disabled hotkeys. And then I click on, Okay, now we have our settings and we are ready to play around with the scenes and sources. 4. OBS Interface: Okay, so now we're getting to the fun part, which is the scenes and sources. Scenes are basically kind of like the big folder. And the sources are the things inside that scene. For example, here we have seen one inside the scene. We can add different things to the sources. If we click on the Add button, we can select what we want to add. For example, we can add an audio input capture, for example, a microphone. We can add a window Capture where they can see what's happening in a particular window. We can add a camera as well. For example, let's go for this one video capture device. So I select this one and create a new one. And I'm going to call this camera one. This one is going to be my Logitech camera and then I click on, Okay. Then we select the device. I'm going to select this one, D C9 to two stream webcam. And there you go. You can see myself right there. And I can change also the size. In this case it's going to be 1920 by 1080. And then I just clicked on. Okay. And there you go. You can see me with a different camera. So if you're noticing something, I'm using a green screen. And I'm also going to teach you how to use a green screen in this class. So there you go. We have a camera right here. For example, let's make another scene. So right here, this is gonna be seen to whenever we switched to s2, it's gone. So sin one has the camera and s2 can hub something else. For example, for seemed to, I'm going to add the other camera, that one from my computer, so I'm going to call it camera two. And then, okay, and I'm going to select the FaceTime camera from the Mac computer, which looks bed, and I should clean it. And the size is gonna be this one then. Okay. There you go. We have another camera. Yeah. Basically we can switch from one to the other one. So this is basically how since work. And if you want to make it bigger, you can just click right here and make it bigger. There you go. It looks not as good as the other camera. Let's go back to Scene 11. Thing to notice is that in this case, we only have a camera source. So if you record, there will be no audio because we have not audit, we have not added an audio device to it. So we can just click on Add. Then we go to audio input capture. Then we select the audio inputs. So for this one I'm going to call it a microphone. Then I click on, Okay. I can select the microphone right here. There are different types of microphones. For example, I have the hyper exquisite cast, which is this one, the red one, and this one is super good. So I recommend getting an external microphone because it makes the quality, the audio quality quite good. Because sometimes when you do videos, people will forgive you if you have like a bad camera, but they will not forgive you for bad audio. So make sure you have a good microphone or you have good audio in it. So you can icons, I'm going to select the hyper x. But if you have other options, you can do them as well. For example, there's the MacBook Air microphone, There's my headphones microphone. There's the microphone from my webcam. I'm going to go for the hyper x and then I click on, Okay, now we have a camera and a microphone, which means that if I start recording, people can see me. And at the same time there'll be able to listen to me. Again, this is what's important. And one thing to notice, if we switch to camera two, camera to Dawson have a microphone. So we can just select the microphone from camera one. And we can just copy it by selecting control. Then copy. Then we go to s2 and we paste, paste the reference. There we go. We have the same settings from the microphone right here on seeing one and s2. This is a way you can add cameras to it, camera and audio. So always remember to put both to put the audio in it. Otherwise you will not, people would not hear what you're saying. And something else is that it makes sure you have the eye on because if I click, if I click it off, there will be no more audio. Make sure you know this one, for example, camera. If I turn it off, I can just click here. And there is no camera. And now we have a microphone and a camera. So this is how you can turn them on and off as well. Let's try another thing, which is, let's make another sin, which is going to be seen three. Or you could actually just rename it, for example, I can rename it to Google Chrome Every time. I know this way that this is gonna be the Google Chrome sin. For this one, I'm going to first paste the microphone. The next one I'm going to select is going to be the, I can either select Display Capture, which is going to capture everything in my screen. So let's try this one out. So if we select this one, it will, it will get whatever is in your screen. In our case, it's going to be this thing, which is the OVS program. So let's make it smaller. And there you go. We can select here and we can make it smaller around. Yeah, There we go. I think that's kind of okay. There you go. This is the display capture. And something else you can do is that you can also select a window capture. For example, I can select a specific window in my computer. So let's call it a window Capture. And I'm going to select the Google Chrome, this one. And Okay, and now I can just make it smaller. There you go. This is going to be Google Chrome. And this one is only that window, which in our case is the Google Chrome window. This is the difference. Window Capture only captures a window. Display capture captures everything that you're seeing on your screen. Yeah, keep this in mind. So here we can also do it this way. We can be speaking and then we click and we switch over to Google Chrome. This is an easy way. So this is basically how the scenes and the sources work. So it can switch to switch from one scene to another camera to Google Chrome. And if I start recording, you will be able to see it all into all in one recording basically. 5. Where your Files are Stored: Okay. And one more thing. If you cannot find your files we're after to record them. You can go to settings, then you go to Output, then recording. Here we have the recording path, which is the place, the folder where our videos will be. So we can actually modify this one to whatever you want. For example, let's go to browse. And I currently have it on this one, which is the movies folder. I want to have them rather in a new folder that I created that is called OBS files. This one I just created it. You can also try creating a new folder by just clicking new folder and then just typing one. For example, OBS files like I did, and then creating it. But I already have it created. I'm going to select this one. So it's going to go to my user, to my documents and OBS files. So this is the place where I want them. Now we click on Okay. And for example, we can start recording. If I click on Start Recording, I can be basically speaking. I can say whatever I want. Then I click on stop recording, and then I go back to my files. And here we go, here we have my new file. So make sure you know where your files are. 6. Install Stream FX: Lowercase. So now we're going to add a new OBS plug-in that is going to give you a few more functions. So this one is called stream f x. So we basically go to Google and search it right here. And it's gonna be the first one stream effects for OBS Studio. So we click on it. Here. It gives you a description. So it adds new types of sources, some new filters, new transitions. You can drastically improve your stream and you're recording basically. So for this one we will go to Download and it will send us over to their GitHub. For this one, we go all the way down to where it says Assets. And then we can select the one from your operating system. So if you have a Windows computer, you can select this one, Windows. I'm going to click on this one. And it will download it. Then we click on it. And it seems that I have a problem here. If you get this mistake, you basically have to go to your finder. And then you look for the downloads folder where this one was downloaded. And then we right-click on it, and then we click on open. Then it will give us this other one. So you see how there are two different types. If I do single click on it, it will tell me that it's not possible to open. But if I right-click on it and then I force it to open, it will let me know that I can actually open it. You have to right-click on it. This is only if you're on a Mac, if you're on Windows. This is very simple. Now we click on Open and we basically install this. We just click on Continue, agree, continue. Basically. I think we all know how to install things now. This one, it is my password. Okay. Ops must be closed first. Obs is closed. And I think I clicked on this one. And then I click on Close. And then I go back to OBS. And we should have the new features installed. So yeah, you will get this one, which means that you just installed it. And you basically just get a few more features that we're gonna be using in this class. 7. Best Microphone Settings: Okay, so now we're going to make our audio sound even better. The first thing we're going to put an OBS is to add a microphone. Here we only have the Display Capture, which is basically this thing like the whole OBS thing right here. If we click on Display Capture, we will basically get this, which means that you can see anything that is happening on your computer. The thing we want to add is some microphone. We first look for, we first click on Add, and then we look for an audio input capture right here. Then we can create the new one. And from here we can select our microphone. I currently have this one which is the hyper x Quantcast. And so we basically click on it and we add it. So let me show you how this microphone sounds like from OBS. I'm going to click on start recording and I'm going to show you how it sounds like. Now we're just using this red microphone straight from OBS. What you hear right now is what you will be hearing on OBS. And one thing that I want to put it is I have this sound machine. So I'm going to turn it on in order to give some kind of background noise and you will see what we're trying to do. So I click on it. You can see, you can hear the background noise. So a lot of people might have some background noise, for example, the air conditioner or maybe like the street outside. And people can hear that during the recording. Let me put it back on again. And we're going to fix this. The first thing we're going to do is that we're going to go to our microphone, the audio input capture, or you can basically name it whatever you want. For example, I can just rename it and I'm going to call it the hyper x, just so I know which microphone is coming from. And then I'm just gonna click on filters. The first filter we're going to add is going to be this one, the noise suppression. The moment I added, you will notice that you can no longer hear the sound machine, which is basically going to be your background noise. Okay, so now I click on Okay, and there you go with the noise suppression. So what this does is that it's going to try to suppress all the background noise that you have. Yeah, this one is actually a very good thing to have. Now you cannot fully hear the background noise. Mine is actually quite loud. In your case, it might actually be lower than mine. Well, or it could be even higher. So who knows? Yet this is the first thing that I want to add, noise suppression, which removes your background noise. And the second one that I want to add, it's going to be there, a compressor right here. So we click on compressor and then we click on, Okay. This one is going to make microphone sound a little bit more smooth. Sound, a little bit nicer. So in this case we can just keep the default settings. The next one we're going to add, it's gonna be this one called the gain. Then we click on, Okay. And what gain does is that it makes your microphone sound louder. And we're trying to keep it a little bit around the red part without fully breaking people's ears. So let me show you the example. So if I make it higher, so watch out for your ears is going to be a little bit high. And this is what it's going to sound like. It's going to go straight all the way to the red line, like this, like this, and it's peaking. We're trying to avoid this peak. Here. You have to find kind of like a level where it doesn't peak and you're able to properly speak without fully making that peak noise. I think this one's sounds a little bit good. I'm going to keep it. Yeah, I think this one is a good level or on a 5.8, but this is only my case. In your case, it might be different. So kind of go high and then slowly try to make the gain lower onto you find the level that you want. So in my case, it's going to be around this 16 or five. Yep, 5.80. This one sounds okay. The next one we want to add is going to be the limiter right here. Click on it, then we click on Okay. And what the limiter does is that it prevents you from giving like a crinkling sound. Your microphone might have a critical sound if you speak. And this one can prevent that. And I recommend keeping this one at around negative three. Negative three. There we go. This is, so this ones are basically the things that I recommend having the noise suppression so that people cannot hear your background. For example, if I remove it, you can hear my sound machine. Yeah, you can basically, I'm pretty sure you can hear it. We click on it and yeah, I think it will be better. Yeah, these ones are the recommendations. Noise suppression for the background compressor to sound a little bit better, a little bit smoother, the game to sound louder without fully peaking the limiter so that you don't have like a crinkling noise in your microphone. These are the ones that I recommend. If you have a nice microphone, you can also put the settings on your phobias. So that's it for this one. 8. Synchronizing Audio: Okay, so now what we're going to do is that we want to sink or audio together with our video. Because it is possible that you might make a video. And sometimes the audio is going faster than the video. So you can see kind of like you open your mouth, but the audio that's coming out, it's not perfectly timed with your mouth. So this might be a small thing, but for some people they might feel like they really want to fix this issue. And I was one of those persons. So let's try this one for example, I'm going to make a recording with my normal settings. So I click on Start Recording and I can actually just speak right now because I want to see if my mouth is perfectly timed together with my audio. So I just speak a little bit and then just open my mouth and speak. Okay. And then we stop the recording and now we can check it out. So we go to our to our files. In my case it's finder and this one OBS files. And now we watch the file. Let's see how it looks like. And I can actually just speak right now because I wanted to see if my mouse is perfectly timed together with my audio. So I think it looks timed, but it's not 100% exact. You might not see it, but I can see it. And if you spend long enough doing this, you will be able to notice it to in order to time it. We go to our microphone and then we click on that tool right here. Then we click on Advanced Audio properties. And this one we can time whatever goes faster. So it's very likely that it's going to be your microphone that is going faster than your audio. So in this case, we go here where it says sync offset, and we can start to change it by milliseconds. For example, usually 100 milliseconds works for me. So you can start by going with 100 milliseconds. If you feel like it's still not perfectly timed, you can change it, for example, 200 milliseconds or one hundred and fifty, three hundred. You can try a 500 if it's really, really that bad. Let's try 100. In my case, I choose 100 and then I click on Close. And now let's click on Start the recording to notice a difference. I click on start. And once again, I'm trying to talk and open my mouth a little bit, see what it sounds like. Me basically try to sync the audio together with my mouth. So I basically just have to say something. And now I can click on stop. Now let's check out the recording. So it should be this one, and let's select it. Once again. Not this one, this one. Okay, Let's watch it start. And once again, I'm trying to talk and open my mouth a little bit and see what it sounds like. Yeah, I think this one looks way better. This one I can tell the difference now that my mouth and my audio or better since they're kind of like perfectly succinct. So this is something that you might also want to look into. I know for some people it might not be a big deal, but if you're making a lot of videos and after a while you start to detect it and you want to change that. Well, this is the solution for that because it's possible that you might also have this problem. Once again, just click on the toolbar, advanced audio properties, and maybe around 100 that can fix a lot of issues. If it's not 100, Jews keep on changing it until you notice that it's perfectly synced. So that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 9. Adding Filters and Cropping: Okay, so now we will learn how to add some filters to our sources, to any of our sources or to our sins. So basically if you look at the camera and you want to change some things, maybe the brightness or something, we can just give it a right-click and then we click on Filters. Here where it says Effect filters. We can add them. For example, we can add a color correction. Then we click on Okay. And with this one we can change the Gamma. Or if you want to make it like a little bit more like this, if you'd like that style, we can change it around. We can change the contrast. When I make it a little brighter, I think, maybe a little bit. Okay, I think that looks good. Maybe we can change the brightness, for example, we can make it less bright or even better, more bright. We can change the saturation. This is too much, this is too black and white. So something around there, I think we can change the hue. And this one is going to make it a really weird. This one just keep it at 0. Unless you want to really play around with it a little bit more. We can change the opacity like this, but I'm gonna, I'm just gonna leave it at number one. You had, this is basically how you add filters. We have different types of filters. We can add a color grading filter where you can lift the reds are the greens. You can play around with the filters. We can lift the green. Yeah, I think these ones, I'm just going to leave them at 0. So yet another filter we can add, for example, is this one. We click on Filters. If you want. You can also add the cropping. I don't really like this one. For example, you can add a left of 500 and you can now see that our camera is getting corrupt. You can also change the right, for example, 500. And you can see this one. So now it looks like this. If you went to kind of crop, you can also do it like that. But I don't like this one. So I'm just going to take this one out. The one I like to use is that if you go to your keyboard on a Mac, we have the option key. And I think on Windows is the alt key. If we press it. And now we can just hold it. And it basically does the same thing, which is much faster actually. Yeah, just basically press the Option key or the Alt key on Windows Option on a Mac. And then you can just drag and make sure you're not locked. For example, if you have the lock, you cannot do anything. Make sure it's unlocked at press the Option key, alt key. And I can just make myself kind of like into a smaller box. For example, like this. There you go. And I can put myself kind of like in a lower corner or anything. You can also do it like this if you want, kind of like a small square, you can do it that way. Remember you press the Option key or the Alt key and basically just play around with it. If you'd like it kind of like this style. You can also do it like this. For example, you can have a talking head and you can add, for example, this Display Capture. Then I click on, Okay. Yeah, basically if you're doing kind of like an online tutorial, you can do it this way. So let me move my camera up this way. For example, if you're showing anything, I don't know. What can I show in my computer? For example, defined there, I can just click on Finder and you want to show some files. You can also do it this way and people will be able to see it on the, on this part. Basically, this is how you add filters. You can also add them to the entire scene. Actually, for example, I can add a filter to the entire scene. For example, I can add some color correction, and it will add color correction to everything, everything inside that scene. Not just particular things, but basically everything. So yeah, you can also do it this way. You can add filters to the sources or to the scenes. 10. Scene Transitions: Okay, so now we're going to learn about the scene transitions. Scene transitions, you can find them right here on the part where it says Sin transitions. Transitions are different ways that you can switch between scenes. For example, here I have the Cut option. And if I go from C2 to C3, it just cuts. It makes like a normal cut. For example, C32 seen one. You've just said direct cut. And we have different options. For example, we have the fading option, which kind of makes it a little bit different. We also have the fade to color option, which looks a little bit different. But the one that I really like is this one which is called move. Because this one, I feel like it gives the best effect. For example, I mean s2 and I went to switch to S3. It looks okay. For example, if I make a duplicate of cm2 right here, and I just put it right here. I kept seemed to and seem to point to. I can move my camera, for example, up here. And whenever I switch between seem to, seem to point to, It's going to give it a nice Moving effect like this, s2, 2.2. So this looks very nice and I think it's one of the best ones. For example, if I choose the coding option and I just click, it's a little bit different. It feels different. I like the other one better. For this, we are going to install this plugin called Move transition. And you can find this, even if you Google it, you can actually Google this name or you can find it on the course resources section. So basically we will just click on Download and from there we select the one from our computer. In my case, I have a Mac OS computers, so I'm just going to click on Download and then we have to unzip it. So right here. There you go. I have it right here. Then we can right-click on it. If you're on a Mac, if you're on a Windows, you basically install it as normal. So then I just click on Open. And from there I can just click on Open. And here we will just install it as normal. So if you have some trouble with Mac computers, you just have to right-click it and click on open. We just click on Continue, then install. And then you put on your password. If you're on a Mac, install the software and it will just install it for you. Very simple. Then we just close it. We can move to trash. And then once we open OVS, we will have the Move option available. And if you do not see it right here, you basically have to select it. And then you go down here to where it says Add move. Then I click on, Okay. And here we have some of the properties for that particular transition. And the first three, you can just leave them as normal. The ones we need to change are these ones appearing items? Send this appearing items. For this one, I like to change the position over to none. So in appearing items as well as disappearing items, you'd change the position to none. And then you change the transition over to fade. You change it with both. And you can click right here where it says preview transition makes sure you don't click on Default because it will break it for you. And it basically gives this nice transition, which I think is one of the best ones. And if you want, you can also try different ones. For example, you can switch to the cut, but I think I prefer the fading. Fading one better. Transition, fade and position none. So then we just click on Okay. And now we have it up here so we can select it. Basically, we can use it to switch between different scenes. And this is one thing that you should notice. For example, it only gives this special transition between sources that are the same. For example, here I have camera to end display capture three on both of them, which makes it look quite nice. But if I was to change the display capture three, and I was to make, for example, a new one and other display capture, I'm going to call it display capture for and let me just make it smaller. It will be a little bit different. You have, for example, like this. And I switch, it makes it different. And that is because they are not exactly matched. So that once that are exactly matched, we'll have the nice moving transition and the ones that are not exactly matched. For example, here I have the camera matched, but not the display capture. So it looks a little bit different. For example, if I move my camera up, the camera moves like normal, but the display capture changes. This is one of the issues. For example, if I was to change an at a different camera, for example, I would put, let's see, video capture device. And I'm going to select a different camera. I'm going to select my this one. If I was to switch since it makes them a little bit different than if they were actually the same one, the same kind of source. You also keep this one in mind that this special effects, you can do it whenever you have the same exact sinc. And that's the reason why I like to just click on the scene and then duplicate. For example, here I have a new one. I'm just going to move it up. Scene 2.2 to 0.3. So I'm going to try this way. I'm gonna make a few different ones. I'm going to make four different ones of the same scene. Basically right here. Let me move it up and just one more. Okay. So the four that I made, I'm just going to delete this one, remove. And yes, all of these four are basically the same s2, 2.42.32.5. And something that you can do, for example, is that you can move them, for example, you can move this camera over here, then this camera over here, and this camera over here. For example, you are making a tutorial and your camera is blocking an important part of the tutorial. You can make your camera move around. For example, here I have something I want us explain the scenes, but people cannot see them. I can basically just change and they can see the area that I want them to see. This is actually, this can be quite useful because it gives it a nice effect. And it also allows people to see things without being blocked. This is another, another way, something else that you can do. So basically play around with the scene transitions. You can also find someone that Internet that are a little bit different, but my favorite one is the move. And one other thing, you can also change the duration. For example, if you want it much faster, you can make it like 100. And yeah, you can see that it's very, very fast actually. If you wanted to even slower, you can make it, for example, 700. Yeah. You can see how it's actually slower. Yeah, you can basically play around with the duration and the scene transitions. That's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 11. Display and Window Capture: Okay, so now we are going to learn the difference between a display capture and a window Capture. So I made a new scene right here, which is called CD4. And here I have my microphone and my camera. Okay, so now I'm going to add a new display capture. So we go to Add, then we just selected and I'm going to call it display capture for now, I'm actually going to call it my computer. Basically, everything that is being seen on your computer, yet Display Capture is basically anything on your screen. I'm just going to call it my computer screen actually. Okay. My computer screen then, okay. And if you have multiple displays, you can select, select them here basically, but I only have one. So I'm going to select this one. And I'm just going to click on Okay. And then I can just make it smaller to fit with this green. And the next one I'm going to move my camera up so that you can actually see my camera. And let's just make it up. Okay. This one is the Display Capture, which means that anything that is seen on your computer will be shown on the recording. And this is why we get this infinite loop, kind of like this mirror effect where you can see basically everything because it's basically this thing being copied and copied and copied. If we were to switch, for example, to another page, we will only be able to see that page. For example, if I make a recording, recording everything on my computer so I can go to Google. And basically this is from the recording. You can see everything that's on my screen, basically a normal screen recording. But the problem that I find with using this one, which is the Display Capture, is that if you're making a tutorial video, you have to edit it after in order to cut this. Because some people might not like seeing this In the video. If you want to make it look even better, you have to cut it. That's one of the disadvantages of it. And let's check out the other one which is going to be the the window Capture. So I'm actually going to make it a little bit different. I'm going to duplicate this scene. I'm going to call it Scene window Capture. I'm going to call it a window Capture. And I'm going to rename my scene for to display capture so that I know which one it is. So that I know which ones they are. It's already in use. Okay, rename the capture, display capture and window Capture. On the window Capture, I'm going to get rid of my computer screen. The display capture basically at a new window Capture. Then we just click on, Okay, and here we can select anything that's open in our computer. The one that I'm going to select is going to be my Google Chrome, which is one of the tabs that I have open. For example, if we go here, I have Google Chrome and we can actually see it right here. So basically I'm just going to now make this smaller. And I'm actually going to, I'm also going to crop. I hold the Alt key or the Option key, and I can delete these parts. There we go. I think this one looks pretty good. And now I can move my camera up. So this is what people will see on the OBS recording. And these are the differences and you can switch between one and the other by just clicking them. And I kind of prefer window capture because you can use this without having to switch between different pages. And people can see that you are switching between different pages. And this is very useful. For example, if I have a PowerPoint. So I'm just going to change this and add a new one. And this one I'm going to call it PowerPoint, PPT. Actually I have my PowerPoint open right here and I'm just going to make it bigger. I'm going to make it as a slideshow. And then I go back and the window, I can select this, this one PowerPoint. And you can actually see one problem right here, which is a problem that you might encounter, which is that in PowerPoint when you start a slideshow, you can have this one and people will see this. But if you start a slideshow without actually changing it, it will stay in the same one. And in order to refresh so that it can see that you have a slideshow. You have to switch between scenes and then just come back. And now you can select the slideshow. You'll be able to see it. This is something very important to keep in mind that if you do not see the slideshow option, you have to switch between two different scenes in order to find it. So for example here I can just move myself. I can put myself in a corner, and I can make the PowerPoint slideshow bigger. So this can be very helpful. For example, if you're teaching something to somebody, you're making an online course and you want your image to be there next to the slideshow. You can also do it this way. This is one of the reasons why I like the window capture a little bit more than the display capture. That display capture is good, but then you have to edit it and cut some parts that you don't like. For example, here I have the recording. I can actually show you if I go to Final Cut Pro, can just throw it in. So you're basically this parts you have to cut if you don't want people to see them. And for that you need to have a video editor. But with the window Capture, you don't have to edit after. But both can actually be very useful depending on what you want to do. But if you just want to use it for a PowerPoint, this is a very good option. And something else you can do with display capture, window Capture is that you can kind of switch, for example, I can select, I'm going to make another one, another duplicate. Then I selected. And now I'm going to close a PPT and select this one, which is the Google one, the browser. And I can just put it right here. So you can kind of see how I can change between a PowerPoint. For example, I can be teaching something with a PowerPoint. And then I can just switch over to Google. And then I can just type whatever you want. For example, I don't know Facebook. And I can show them anything right here, and they will be able to see it right here. But the only thing that's, I don't like too much about it is that you cannot see the mouse on the window Capture. You cannot show people here, they cannot follow your mouse. That's the only disadvantage. That's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 12. Designing a Presentation with PPT and Canva: Now we're going to design a PowerPoint. And I'm pretty sure that everybody knows how to use PowerPoint by now. So I just wanted to give some extra tips that you can use with OBS. So here we have, for example, our PowerPoint presentation. And if you want to use it as a slideshow, you basically click on slideshow. Here. If you don't want this to appear, you can basically click if you're on a Windows, you have to click on Control. And h, if you press Control, H, I believe if you're on a Mac, you can press Command I. So you can, so people do not see this whenever you put it on OBS. For example, if I click on the PPT and then I have to refresh so I can see it again. And I can select the slideshow. People will not see the buttons. So this is one of the issues because if people can actually see this, it might not look too good on maybe some presentations. And the next tip I have is that if you want to make a presentation kind of like a little bit smaller, you can go over to where it says design right here. Then you can change the slide size. For example, you can have the standard size if you want it a little bit smaller. So whenever you do a PowerPoint, it will look a little bit smaller. Or you can also make it the way you want. For example, you can change to a custom size, a bigger size. I think Let's see if I can do this 11080 by 1920. Then I can click on scale up and this one. So now we have kind of like the phone presentation type. You can make a PowerPoint presentation. And it will have kind of like the size of a cell phone. You can basically just add some things. Make a PowerPoint presentation like you would have like in a cell phone mode. So we can try like this. Take for example, I have a very well-designed presentation. Then I go to OBS. And here you go. Here I have my PowerPoint and I can just move it around or make it bigger. One more thing I can, I click on option and I can delete this black parts right here and now we can just make it bigger. Yeah, and this is also something else that you can do. For example, if you want your PowerPoint to be here as kind of like a cell phone, kind of Luke. And then for example, you can have Google right here too, or another page. Basically, people can actually see multiple things in one. For example, you might be showing something on Google, then you bring up your PowerPoint. Or you can make many different things like this. So this is also an idea. So you can actually be creative and find something that you like by changing the PowerPoint size. And another website that I can show you is this one which is called Canva. Canva is sexually great for making some very nice designs. For example, I can select the presentation design right here, and it gives it some very nice designs. For example, you can select the type of presentation that you'd like. For example, I'm going to go for this one, the debate presentation. And you can select them, for example, this, I just add them. Or something that I like to do with this is that I like to click on Apply All Pages. Then I like to download them. You can basically go here. Now I can just share to Microsoft PowerPoint. And then I click on Download. And it will download all of the pages right here. And you can actually customize your PowerPoint presentation here. If you want to change, for example, hello. And at the end you can just download all of the files together. This one. But if you click on Download like the way I did it, you can actually just open this and there you go. You have all of these slides as well. And you can actually use them and customize them and make them the way you like. For example, am going to take, for example, this one. Now I go back to OBS, like my PowerPoint refresh so that I can actually find it here, find the slideshow. And let's make, let's get this back. Now it can make them smaller. So this is another thing that you can do. Yeah, I know that everybody knows how to use PowerPoint already, but these are just some extra tips that you can use when you put PowerPoint and OBS together. So that's it for this one. 13. Adding Text, Images, and Videos: Okay, so now we're going to learn how to add some text, some colors, some images and some videos to our OBS. So let's try the first one, which is the text. For that, we click on the plus sign to add a new source. And the new source is going to be this one which is called text. We click on this one, create the new one. And now we can design it. For example, we can select the font you want. You can select the style, the size. So I'm just going to keep it at default right now. And here we can write the text. This can be very useful if you want to type, for example, your name. Or you can also put, for example, your Instagram profile or something like that. So in my case, I can put my Instagram. There you go. And you can also change the color right here. For example, if you want a different color, I can select, for example, blue. Think liquid. Okay? But this only brings color at the top side. If you want the entire color, you can select it twice. And there you go. Now it's all blue. You can also add some outline, so you can kind of give it a black outline. For example, if I put white, you can see the black outline. Yeah, there you go. Which looks a little bit better than yeah, it makes kind of like a small difference, but it makes it easier for people to see. I'm just gonna leave it like this and then I click on, Okay. And there you go. We have our text right here. And we can just basically move it and put it wherever we want. So there you go. I'm just going to put my Instagram there. And the next one is going to be to add a color source. We add a new source and select this one Color source. Then we create a new one. And we can now select the color. For example, I can select the kind of like a blue one. I'm going to select this one. Then I just click on Okay, and Okay. Now we bring the color source all the way to the bottom. There you go. So this is starting to look a little bit better. Again, this is the other option. Something else that you can do is that you can also add images. For example, I can select here I click on image, and then I click on Okay, and browse. So I'm thinking if I have any images for this. Yeah, My mom is painting lately and I'm going to select this one. Okay. There you go. That's her painting. Then I click on Okay. And I can just make it smaller. Now. There you go. And this is my mom's painting and we can put it here wherever we want. Basically, you can put it at the corner or you can put a kind of like a logo as well. So yeah, this is something that you can also do. You can put images in many different parts. The next one is going to be adding a video. So let's look for the video source. So I click on Add and media. This one is going to be called the media source. And we selected then add a new one. And now we click on Browse. For example, I click on this one and I'm going to select this one, then open if you want. So for example, I just selected a video and I'm going to click on Okay, which looks like this. So I can make it bigger and I can actually put it like as a background. That looks pretty good, I think so you basically have the video running as a background. And this is something that might happen to you. Because now what happened was that the video post. So I can click on it manually once again. And the moment it finishes, it's going to pause again. So in order to fix this, you can click on Properties. Then you can click here where it says loop. What this makes is that whenever the video ends, is going to go back and start again. Which basically makes your video keep on going without ever ending. Yet. This is something very nice that you can also do. And something else that you can do is for example, I'm going to make a new scene and I can make, for example, an end video. Then I click on OK. And for the end video, I can select, for example, like an outro video. I do have an outro video, so I'm going to select this one. And in this case, I'm not going to click on the loop because I just want the video to n by itself. I'm going to click on, Okay. So this one is an outro video that I did for one of my courses. And basically I just do this and I wait until it ends. And then I can pause the recording. You can also do this as well. This way. It's also going to record the audio here where it says media source. And if you don't want the audio, you can delete the sound here. Whenever it goes. There's no audio coming out of it. And if you want the audio, you can enable it here. And in the case of the video, I added right here, the media source for there's no sound anyways, this one is fine. But if you want to remove the sound, you can also do it this way. 14. Using Hotkeys: Okay, so now we are going to learn how to use hot keys. So let's try it out. So here I have the window Capture and I'm gonna make a duplicate of this one to show you my example. And let's go up. Okay, so for the window Capture right here, I'm going to rename it and call it window Capture PowerPoint. And for the second one I am going to call it window Capture, Google. Okay, so let's look for Google. I think it's this one window Capture three. And I'm going to remove my PowerPoint. So had this one window captured three, I'm actually going to rename it also. I'm gonna call it just Google so that I know which one it is. And I'm also going to make a third one. And this one, I'm just going to call it full screen. And I'm gonna put them altogether. So for fullscreen, I want my camera and my microphone. So I'm going to select the camera, the microphone and copy them. I'm pressing the Command key, I believe it's control key in Windows and control C to copy and full-screen control B. So I have this one and this one, I'm just going to put it back to normal. So I'm just going to make it full screen basically, ok. And this way. And then just full screen. If I want to switch between these three different scenes, for example, I am giving you a PowerPoint and then I want to show a Google. Then I went to, go back to full screen without having to individually click on any of them. I can do it by adding some hotkeys. For that, I'm going to go over to settings here where it says hotkeys. For the first one is going to be this one, window Capture PPT. I have to scroll all the way to the W. Here, right here, window Capture PPD, and here where it says switch to sin, am going to add, you can add any kids you want. So for this one, I'm going to add option one or all to one or whatever key you want in Windows. But keep in mind that for example, if you want to delete it, you do not press the backspace. Because backspace means that whenever you hit the backspace key, it will switch the scene. Whenever you delete them, just click on the trash can. Don't try to delete them by pressing any key. Basically, you're basically whatever keys you press, it's going to switch. The way I'm going to select this Alt or Option one. And the next one is going to be window Capture Google, which should be this one. Switch to scene. I'm gonna select option two or Alt to. The next one is going to be full screen. So I have to find the letter F right here, fullscreen. And I'm going to select option three or Alt three. Then I can click on, and now I can just click on, okay? And whenever I want to switch in-between, I can just click Option one, switch, option two, switch, option three, switch. And this actually super useful sometimes because you don't have to click on them. And something else is that, for example, you can be on another screen. For example, I'm using Google and if I press Option one, I cannot see OBS, but if I go back to OBS, it switched. This allows you to use the same OBS settings. Even if you're not on the same OBS window, you might be in another window, but you can switch. For example, I can click on option two, and now we should be Google. It works. Now we can go back option three and it should be full screen by now. And it works. Yeah, you can also do it whenever you're not in OBS. But one thing that I must warn you is that you have to find hotkeys that are not used in other programs. For example, if you want to switch the scene and then you press, for example, Control Z, which is also a command for removing and going back to something that you did before. Whenever you're in another program and you press Control Z, it's going to give the command for OBS, and it's also going to give the command on whatever program you're using. So make sure you are also aware of that. So try to select some hotkeys that are not used in other programs as well. Some unique hotkeys that only you are going to use only for OBS that you know that it doesn't interfere with other programs. And yes, so we'll hotkeys can be very useful and we're going to use them even more on this course. 15. Adding a Scene inside a Source (Nested Scenes): Okay, so now we're going to learn how to add a scene inside a source. So this is also called nested scenes and it can be very powerful. So I'm actually quite excited to show this one. So let's get into it. Now. I'm going to make a new scene and the name for this scene, I'm going to call it the soundboard. Inside the scene, I'm going to have four sources of different sounds. For that. I go over to a media source. The first one I'm going to call it the hip hop soundtrack, just hip hop, hip hop music. Then, okay, now I can select a local file, so I go to browse and I have some songs right here. I'm going to select this one. And I'm also going to click on the loop. The loop means that whenever the song is finished, it goes back and it plays again. And also make sure you have this one. Restart playback when the source becomes active. This means that if you turn this source off and then back on, it will restart it. So that can be very useful as well. So make sure you have these two selected. And now I just click on OK. And there we go. We have the first one. Whenever I switch over, for example, to the soundboard, it's going to start playing this song. And you can see that it's playing because right here we have this part that says hip hop music and it's moving. And another thing you can do is you can also lower the volume as well. If you think that it's too loud, you can lower it down. Now I'm just going to add three more. So let's, I'm gonna do it very fast. Okay, so now I have my four songs. And you can see on the audio mixer that we have all four songs playing at the same time. And this one that says game music, I think it looks a little bit loud, so I'm going to make it a little more quiet and I'm going to lower the volume for all of them. Okay? So if you start recording like this, people can hear all the four songs at the same time. So make sure you hide them. And if you only want to keep one, just leave one. And whenever you want to switch, you can turn it off and select a new one. And now what we're going to do is we're actually going to add a hotkey for this one's. For that. We go to Settings, then hotkeys, and now we just have to scroll all the way to soundboard. Let's look for it right here, soundboard, and here we have our sources. The first one is show hip hop music. For this one, I'm going to select the option Q or Alt Q. And you want to put the same one for hiding. Whenever you press Alt Q, it will show it, and then Alt Q it will hide it as well. Yeah, keep the same one for both. And the next one is going to be option w, option w, option E for show and for height. And option are for both of them. Basically I'm just following the keyboard 12345 basically. Then I click on Okay, and now whenever I press the key, for example, option one. No, My mistake, not option one. Option Q. We start playing hip-hop music, and in order to close it, after I click on option Q again and itself, option W plays the game music, option W turns it off. Option E and Option a to turn it on and off. Or you can actually kept too at the same time. For example, Option Q and option are hip hop music and club music. You have to do is basically how it works. Now comes the fun part, which is that I can add all of these into one particular source. I'm going to go over to this one that says, I'm gonna go to the PowerPoint. And now I'm going to add, and here you can select a scene. So you can basically add scenes into a source, and that is very powerful. Let's select scene and soundboard then. Okay. Now, when I'm in this scene, I can press Option Q. And you can see right here it starts playing hip-hop music. Option q. And it turns off option, our press, it plays the club music. I can press option in the electronic music and basically just click on them and they will turn them on and off. Basically the same settings that you have here on the soundboard will apply to the other scene that you have. So this can be very good. Now I'm just going to select soundboard, go to the other one and paste. And select this one and paste. So now if I have, for example, one song, I'm going to select hip-hop music, and I switch over to Google. The song is still playing. I go over to the PowerPoint and it's still playing as well. So this can be super useful. And one more thing that I want to show, which is this one. So now we're going to add some borders. So this one, I'm just going to call it border camera then. Okay. And for this one I'm going to add a camera. So I go to video capture device, then select one. And I'm going to select the FaceTime camera then. Okay. I'm just gonna put it here in the center. And now I'm going to select an image. And the image I'm just going, I'm going to call it the border image. And the image file. I'm going to look for one. So I have this border image that I have from the internet. Then I can click on Open and Okay, here we have a board there. And the next thing you have to do is that you have to make it align basically. So I think this one looks good, Then this one, I'm gonna make it a little bit bigger. This looks okay. And now I'm going to press Option or Alt to delete these corners, and now it fits. Now we have a board there with my camera. And what we can do is that we can go, for example, to our PowerPoint. And I'm going to hide this camera first. We can add a new one. So this one we add a scene, and we can add this one border camera then. Okay? And there you go. We have our camera with the borders. And now we can just make it smaller or make it bigger. And there you go. If you want a camera with a board there as well, you can do it. And of course there are many different types of borders. You can make it up, you can make a differently. So wherever you find or whatever you design, you can also put it right here. This one is just an example. It's not the prettiest border, but it works. Whatever I change in this sin, sin source. For example, if I want to add some filters to my video, to my camera, for example, m going to add some color correction. And I'm going to make this way more contrast. Okay? You kind of like this, for example, if I'm gonna make it like this, I can select it. And now whatever settings I have on the scene that I put on this specific source, it's also going to be here. This one. This way you don't have to individually change the settings for all of them. So you basically only change the settings in one. And then you put everything that's inside that scene into other scenes as a source. And this can save you a lot of time and you can make your experience flow much more smooth. 16. Using a Smartphone as a Webcam: Okay, so now this is one of my favorite lessons. We're going to learn how to use your phone's camera and put it into OBS as well. So for this, we're gonna go over to Google and we're going to search for a program called camo CAM. Oh, we're going to use this one from reincarnate. We select this one and we're going to download this program. So you can download it here for whatever computer you have, or you can click here for other platforms. It works for Mac, for Apple, for Windows. So it works for Mac. You can also find it on the iOS App Store windows and Google Play. So I have a Mac, so I'm just going to click on Download with Mac. And it's going to download it basically. Now I can just close this one and you also need to download it on your phone or whatever device you have. So if you have an iPhone, you can just download from the App Store. I have an Android so I can get it on Google Play. So basically I have to go over to my phone and I already have it here. So it's this one, chemo webcam for Mac and PC. So make sure to install this app as well. One more thing, if you have an Android device and it's your first time connecting a to a Mac. You're going to need to search for Android file transfer and then click on the first one. This one is straight from the Android website, which allows you to be able to use your Android device with your Mac computer. So make sure you also download this program if you have an Android device and a Mac computer at the same time. Okay, so now I have connected my phone to my computer with a wire and it's going to ask me if I went to open chemists studio on my computer. So I'm going to click on okay. And now I have to look for the app, which is this one camo studio. And there you go. There you go. It's working so you can see everything around me. And right here, this one is my camera right here. I'm using my phone right now. And the only bad thing is that I have to find a place to hold it. Okay, so I think that looks okay. Now the next step is to connect it with OBS. We go back to OBS and I'm going to make a new one. And I'm going to call this one my phone. Okay. I'm just gonna call it P. Okay, I'm gonna make a new scene and I'm just going to click Okay. Now we're going to add our phone in as a source. For that. We add a source and we go to video capture device because this one is actually a video and not window Capture. We select the first one then, okay. This one, we're going to select this one we incubate camo. So right here we have our phone and actually recommend going here and selecting the high-quality because he's gonna look way better on your OBS. Now we click on Okay, and there you go. We have our phone. And so now this one shouldn't be a problem. If your phone is facing up like this, this should be pretty fine. But in my case it's not. I have it facing sideways. So for that we're going to click on the camera. Now we're going to click on transform and rotate 90 degrees clockwise or anticlockwise. In my case, it's anticlockwise. And there you go, that fixes it. And one more thing that you can also do is that you can remove this one, the watermark, by pressing Option or Alt, and then just getting it out. There you go as well. That also works. And maybe I can make it a little bit similar on the other side. And there you go. We can now use our phone also as a webcam. So right now it's not the best position, But do you have a better position than that will be way better for you. So again, he is actually how it works and we can just make it bigger. If you have a better quality phone, that will be even better. One more thing is that if you go back to the Canvas Studio, you can change some of the settings. For example, the exposure or the white balance. Okay? So you can also change the resolution right here, and you can also change the lens, for example, now I'm using the white lens and I can go for ultra wide lens. And that one looks okay as well. So if we go back here, this one looks pretty good, definitely. I'm going to click on option and I'm going to scroll it a little bit. I think this one looks good with the ultra wide lens. It looks a little bit better. Now if we want to add it to another scene, we can just copy control C, or I can just click it directly to copy. And then we go over to the scene, for example, PowerPoint. And then we paste it Control V. And there you go. We can also do it this way, or you can also do it. The nested seems way where you can put a scene inside a source that also makes the same effect. So there you go. This is a way of getting your phone also into your OBS that can be very useful for some people that don't have very good webcams or don't have a webcam and want to use their phone. The only bad thing is that you cannot use your phone while you're using this. So if somebody keeps you a phone call, you have to pick up your phone and you cannot have the webcam basically. So that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 17. Add a Green Screen: Now we're going to add a green screen, which is one of my favorite parts. For that. I'm going to add a new scene and I'm gonna call this one the green screen. Then I click on OK. And now we're going to add a source and it's going to be my phone camera, sweat. I had a video capture device. It's going to be my reincarnate camo, my phone camera. Then I click on high-quality. And once again, I have to transform it. I select this one. Then. This one looks pretty good. Okay, so yeah, this looks pretty good, I believe. Ooh, case. So now we have our camera. For this, it works better if you have an actual green screen. Now we're going to select our camera and we're going to add a filter. The filter I want is called chroma key. We select chroma key and then click on OK. And you can see that my background is now gone. But basically anything on the gray area is what it's being deleted, but it's not perfect. So to make it even better, we have to play around with this similarity. Make it, maybe make it a little bit higher. So as you can see, it's deleting some parts of my hair. I'm going to kind of get rid of that. And you can also play with the smoothness. So you can make the smoothness higher, lower the similarity. And one way that you can actually tell this better is by adding a corner source. So I'm going to add a new one and I'm gonna selected as maybe blue then. Okay, and Okay. Now if I go back, I can kind of see my hair. My hair looks pretty good actually because most of the problems is usually with the hair that it doesn't look perfect with the background. So maybe if I try a green one, see how that looks like. Okay, you can see that the hair is not perfect under the green color. For that, we are going to fix it a little bit better. I change this similarity. I think that the green one is the best color for this. So make it tried to look perfect. Okay, so this one will take you a while. You can play with the similarity, the key color spill, this smoothness that's deleting it. The opacity? No, not that one. The contrast control looks pretty good. Maybe. Similarity once again, it's looking even better. Contrast I'm going to put, I think this looks okay. And another thing you can also do is that you can add some color correction. Then click on, Okay. And if you move like the gamma a little bit, you can still see a few changes. Basically play around with the color correction and with the chroma key. Now we're just trying to make it look perfect or make it look a little bit better. The contrasts, maybe this way, the brightness. This one, I'm going to keep it back at 0. Maybe this set duration changes my skin color kind of like from gray to read. I think this will look so k, the hue shift, not this one. Okay? I think this one looks pretty okay. And now we can remove the colors source and we can add something else. For example, we can add an image. And the image I want is kind of like a background image that I use a lot. So I'm going to select for that picture, which is this one apartment background. You can basically use any type of background. So this one is kind of like my background. This one looks okay, but of course it depends also on the camera quality. If you have a very good cell phone camera quality, it's gonna look even better. So all of these, the most, the hardest part of this is playing around with the filters, with the chroma key and with the color correction. Because this depends a lot on your lighting. For example, I have two lights right here, which makes it look a little bit better. But if I don't have this lights, it might be different settings. Basically. I'm going to leave it like this. Another thing you can also do is that instead of having a background image, you can also add a video. So I can select the video as an image source. The one I'm going to select is this one. Now notice what I'm going to select a different one. I'm going to select maybe this one. And make sure you have the loop selected then, okay, so this one, this one looks pretty good. And I'm going to move it down. And this looks okay. Actually. There you go. It looks a little bit. It looks okay then. Now we can also put this into other parts. For example, if I go back to my Google, I can, I'm going to go back to my PowerPoint. I can close this one. I'm going to add this one s a scene. And I'm going to select this one green screen then, okay? And you go, now I can just make this one smaller and maybe move the borders a little bit. This way. There you go. Yeah, you can also do it like this. You can have a green screen. This one looks pretty good, I think. Yeah, this one looks okay. And if you want, you can also remove it. For example, you go back to green screen, remove the background, and if you go back, you don't have a background anymore. So this one can be very useful for some people that don't want to have a background. But they want to come out kind of like a smart as part of the entire PowerPoint or the entire thing that you're doing. This one can also be very useful. So you can put a background removal background, put a video as a background, put an image as a background. So basically you can be creative about it. The hardest thing about this is gonna be the filters. Play around with them. And that's it for this one. Thanks for watching. 18. Improving your Green Screen Background: Okay, so now we are going to design an improve our background. So I like to use this website which is called photo P, which is kind of like a free version of Photoshop and Illustrator. And you can just go straight to photo p.com and you will have it. So I have this image that I downloaded, which is the image of a bedroom. From here, we can just customize it the way we want. We can add, for example, some brightness and contrast. We want it brighter or even we can also lower it. We can make it more bright. I'm going to lower it a little bit. Contrast, I'm going to make it higher. We can also add some exposure, increase the exposure or the offset. So basically play around with the features. The gamma correction. I like this one, vibrance, I think it looks a little bit better. It makes it look a little bit better. I feel the saturation. Okay. We can also add the color balance, for example, increase the reds, make it greenery. If you want to lower the green, make it even more blue if you want. I think I'm just going to leave it around this. And one thing you can also do is, and this is the part that I like. You said, you can select your image and then you go over to Filter. And you can add a Gaussian blur filter. And this one makes it look a little bit more blurry. And this can actually be good in some cases. So I'm gonna make it a little bit more blurry like this, for example. Then I can click on, okay, I think this one looks pretty good already. And I'm just going to now click on File. And I'm going to export it as a PNG or as a JPEG. Png has a higher-quality and what he also takes a little bit more space. Jpeg uses less space, so I'm going to go for PNG. Now if we go back to our OBS, we can add a new image. So I'm going to go to images, then add a new one. And the image file. I'm going to go for our downloads. And this one, the new image. Then I can just click on, Okay. And we can also make it smaller or bigger. Actually, I'm just going to keep it like this a little bit bigger and I'm going to make it go back. Okay, That's something you can also do it like this if you want. So now we have kind of like a background image. And of course it depends, kind of like the way you're sitting, how your camera looks like, the quality of your camera because mine has started off like green, green next to it. So the lightning is not too good in my case. But if you have a better camera, this really shouldn't be a big problem. Now if we go back to our window captures scene, we have a different scene and I think this looks a little bit better. And make sure you have a better camera than the one that I have. So that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 19. Adding a Green Screen to a PPT: Okay, so now we're going to learn how to add a green screen to a PowerPoint. Here I have a PowerPoint and this one is actually purple. So if I want, I can just go to our slideshow. And at this PowerPoint into OBS right here, then I go to PowerPoint, then I select the new one. So right here, I can actually just added this way. But if you actually want to green screen this PowerPoint, there are two ways that you can do this. One is kind of like a fake green screen and the other one is like a real green screen. Let's try the fake green screen. For this one, we go over to our Format Background. We just go to our color, then we select More Colors, and then we select the red greens and the blues. So 11248160. So now we go to OBS and we add a color source. Then we click on OK, select color. And this one, which is going to be, I believe it's 1 12th 48, then green should be 48116. Then we click on Okay, then okay. And if we bring it down to before the PowerPoint, Here we go, we have the same color of the PowerPoint together with OBS. If we go back to our PowerPoint and we go to the slideshow, then we click on cancel. Then we can go to the slideshow. I think I have to refresh this one because it's not going to be found. This one. And if we move this slideshow, it looks the same. It looks like the same color. Yeah, there you go. This is kind of like a way that you can make yourself blend in with the background. So this can be very useful in some cases. But here is the other way that you can also do this. Another way is that you can go back to PowerPoint. And then you select the background color, then more colors. And for the reds you put 0. For the green, it will be 2554, the blues it will also be 0. Then you click on Okay and then apply it to all. This one makes you, gives you a green background, which you can then, for example, if we go to command, if you go to the slideshow, and then we go to OBS, we have this. And now we select our PowerPoint. And to the PowerPoint we will add a filter. And that filter is gonna be the chroma key filter then, okay? Now, one thing you have to do is that you have to lower the similarity. Because here, this one, the rectangle should be green. But because I'm using a green color, it takes it as part of the background. In order to fix that, you have to lower the similarity a little bit. And you can see the green coming back, maybe all the way to the bottom similarity one. Then we click on Close. And there we go. We have now added the PowerPoint to the background as well. I prefer this way because for example, if we want to add another type of background, for example, where is my background? This one, her head. There we go. If we want to do it like this, we can also do it. I can actually see a little bit of green right here. For this one, I'm going to change the chroma key a little bit more, make it a little bit more similar. And you can start to see kind of like the green disappearing. The smoothness, I'm going to make it more smooth. Okay? Yeah, this one looks pretty good. You can also do it this way. So basically you can put any kind of background and you can just go through the PowerPoint and it looks pretty good. This can be very helpful for many people in some scenarios. So one more thing, actually, if we go back to my green screen, I can also remove my background. So there we go, and we go back to our PowerPoint. And that looks pretty nice as well. It looks like I'm inside the PowerPoint itself. Yeah, you can modify this one. For example, I can move myself here. Then I can move this one to this way. I can also make myself bigger. For example, I can select me, then move this, move this one as well. Here you can kind of play around these weight two, okay, then I select my PowerPoint. You can also make it smaller, make it bigger however you like. So that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 20. Add Rounded Corners to your Webcam: Okay, So if you go over to the resources section of this class, there are gonna be two files. The first one is to make your camera have horizontal rounded corners, and the other one is to make it vertical with rounded corners. So let's give them a TRE. In order to find them. You can go here to where it says Project and Resources. And the two files will be in this section. The first thing I want to do is that I want to go back to this one to my camera with the green screen. And I'm going to make two duplicates. The first one is going to be called horizontal. The next one is going to be cold. Vertical. Okay? For the first one we basically have the same things inside the sources. For the first one, we are going to add a filter. But inside the scene, we do not add a filter to the source. We will add it to the entire scene. So here we go two, since the horizontal one, then we add a filter. The filter that we're going to add is this one, image mask and blend. So we selected then, okay, now we can add F file. We go to Browse and the file that we're going to add is going to be the horizontal rounded corners that you downloaded. In my case, it's gonna be here. Okay, then open. And then we just clicking Close. And there we go. We have horizontal rounded corners. And for example, if we wanted to use this one, we can go over to, for example, my PowerPoint. I'm going to get rid of this one and we're going to add the new scene. So we go to add a scene, and this one is going to be the horizontal one, green screen horizontally, then, OK. And there we go. We now have rounded corners in a horizontal way. So this might be useful for some people who want to have their camera down here and they want to explain something. For example, there's a big sharing of your screen. And you also want to have your camera, but do you want your camera to look nice, to have some nice rounded corners? You can do that. And let's try the next one. So now we go to the vertical and we do the same. We click on vertical, we add a filter. And the filter is going to be the image mask with blend. Okay? Then we click on Browse. And this one is going to be the vertical. Then open and close, and there you go, this looks pretty good. So if you want to, if you're not like perfectly placed, for example, I'm right here. You can just click on here your video capture device, and you can move yourself. So there you go. You can basically place yourself. Okay, I think that looks pretty okay. If you want to move the background, for example, you can also move it. And yeah, you can put it right here, for example. Now let's try to add this one to our PowerPoint so we can change the horizontal one and then we add a new source. And you've seen this one is going to be the vertical than OK. And there we go. We now have a vertical camera and we'd rounded corners, which looks a little bit better. So that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 21. Profiles and Scene Collections: Okay, so now we're going to learn how to create new profiles in OBS where you can put different settings that are not going to affect the current settings we have right now. For example, right now we have a horizontal video. And if you wanted to make it vertical, it will mess up with our settings. So let me show you what I'm talking about. If we go to Settings and then we go to the video settings right here. And we change this to 1080 by 1920. And we copy this and also for this one. Then when I click OK, it messes up all of my current settings. So in order to change the video, I have to move everything. And whenever I switch back to horizontal mode, everything is going to be messed up. So this can take a lot of work if you want to switch between one and the other than one and the other all the time. So there's a very easy way for this. So let me just bring this settings back. Okay, so here we are back in normal once again, the first thing we want to do is that we want to go up here where it says profile and we want to create a new profile. So this one, I'm going to call the vertical video. Now I click on, Okay. And here we have the settings, so I'm just going to click on cancel. Now we have a second profile. We have the normal profile which is called Untitled. And let's actually rename this one. Let's rename the untitled two horizontal video. But rename, not remove, rename to horizontal video. And Okay, and now we go back to vertical video, the new profile which we call vertical video, and we go over to settings. Now we can change those. So we go to video and we write 1080 by 1920. Then copy and paste in the second one for base canvas and output scale resolution. And then we click on, Okay, now we have the kind of like a cell phone kind of BYU and all of our sources, I kind of messed up so we have to fix them manually. But now we have this one. And if we go to profile, we can switch to horizontal video. And then we go back to I just move this one. I just moved my camera. Well, you see I move my camera on the vertical video and it moved with the horizontal video. This is something that I'm gonna show you how to fix the problem right now was this one. I moved right here, for example, this way, if I switch back to horizontal video, it's moved as well. So let's go back to vertical video. And what we want to do right now is to also create a new collection of sins. Because whatever you have on these scenes will apply for all of your profiles for both horizontal and vertical. And the way you can solve this is by going here to sing collection and creating a new collection of since these ones I'm also going to call vertical video. Since then I'm going to click on, Okay. And as you can see right now we have a brand new package of since basically the next one, the untitled am going to rename this one so that I remember to horizontal video since then, okay? So now that I know which one is which. So for example, if I'm in horizontal video, I have to make sure that I'm also using the horizontal video since, because if I use vertical, it's completely different. So this is kind of like a way to match them having, having the matched. Let's go back to profile vertical video and sink collection vertical video scenes. And now you can start adding scenes once again back from 0, like brand new, or you can copy them. And there is one small problem that we have right now, which is this one. If I go back to my normal scenes from the horizontal video once and I tried to copy them, for example, the green screen. And I just select one and I tried to copy them. It is not possible. Actually, there's no option right here to copy filters. Even if we give a Control C, Control C for copy. And we tried to go back to vertical video and control V. It doesn't work. And the way to fix this is by adding a plugin. And this plugin is called source copy. And I'm just going to type OBS. If you Google it, it's going to be this one source copy 0.13. So I have it right here. It looks like this. This one will fix your problem. Now just click on Download. You have several options. If you have a Windows, you can install it directly from the installer. The second option is to add the files manually to the source folder of OBS. If you want the easy way, just go for the first one. And I'm using a Mac. So this one will be automatic as well. We just download and here we go. And I already have it installed, so I'm not going to go through the installation. So you basically just click on Continue and allow. And once it's installed, you're going to have to close your OBS and then open OBS once again so that the new settings are installed basically. Now what we have is that if we go here to tools, we have a new option which is called source copy. And this is the one that we're going to be using. For example, if we go to our collection back to horizontal video, since we wait a few seconds, we can select one. For example, I want the scene one. Scene one has my microphone and a camera. I can just go to Tools, source copy. Then I go to sin one and copies scene. Now I go back to my vertical video since tools source, copy and paste this scene. There we go. Seen one. Here we go. We have the microphone and the camera. So yeah, this is an easy way to do this. And now we just have to basically move your camera and basically design it as normal. And one very interesting thing, if we go back to the horizontal video scene, and let's say I'm going to add the this one, window Capture PowerPoint. So I go to Tools source copy window Capture PowerPoint, and I want to copy this scene. Then I go back to the vertical video and you're going to see something interesting. We go to source, copy and paste seen. Here we go. We have the window Capture, PPT, PowerPoint, but not only this one, we have the soundboard, that's a scene inside the source. We also get this one. So there's no problem with one S, one source not working. It brings all of those scenes, basically all of the scenes inside the source since that are inside the source. So we have the soundboard with everything inside. Here we have hip-hop music playing. So I can just click on option a, which is the Option Q, which is the hotkey. And it works, the hotkeys work as well. So it comes with everything. And so yeah, this is something very important because some people would like to make some type of PowerPoints that are kind of like, or maybe some type of videos that are kind of like useful the phone so that people can go through Facebook or Instagram and they kind of have that type of cell phone pattern. And other people might like to have the classical horizontal video patterns. This is something important. This is a very good idea. And one more thing. So for example, if we go back to our scenes, we can also copy the sources. For example, if I want a specific source, for example, I want an image, Okay, I want this one, I want this image, image number two with the background. I can just go to Tools source copy. This one is sin sin extra five that I call. And I wanted to image number two, I can just copy it directly. Here we have two options. We can either save the source, not save the scene. So if we go to a scene, we get the option to save the scene. But if we go even deeper inside the scene, for example, here we can copy the same, but if we go to the sources, we can copy the sources too. So this is something interesting. I just copied this one and then I go back to my vertical video since. And let's select this one. None want to select seen one, actually, seen one. Now I can just go to Tools, source, copy, paste, the I go to sin one actually right here. And I can now paste the source right here. And there we go. We have now transferred a photo too. So yeah, you can transfer scenes and sources. When you do a source, make sure you go directly to it, which gives you a few more extra steps, but it works as well this way. So that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 22. Rearranging the New Profile and Scenes: Okay, So after creating the new scenes and the new profile, we have to rearrange this. And it can be a little bit tricky for some reasons. So for example, if we go back here to window Capture PowerPoint, you can see that my face is kind of cutoff. And the reason is because this video is the green screen vertical. And if we go to this scene, is a scene inside a source. Whatever is inside the scene controls what's inside these sources basically. So here we have to go to green screen vertical and we have to fix this one. Basically. You can actually see that this one is one with the green with the corners. I'm going to put an image, for example. The image is also misplaced and my head is displaced. So we have to look for the image first, which is imaged number seven. And now we can just make it a little bit bigger. And I think this one looks good. And now we have to look for my face, which is this one. Now we have to make my face bigger. Okay, I think this one looks okay right now. So now this one is rearranged. And now if we go back to our window Capture PowerPoint, it's rearranged because it's being controlled by whatever is inside this sin. So the source is controlled by what's inside the scene. This is the way we made it basically. Here we have another problem which is the right here, the background, that is, is this background. We have too many things right here. So this one, we also have to fix it, maybe by making it bigger or actually something that we can do. This one, media source seven, we can transform it and then rotate it. And there we go. I think this one looks pretty good right now. Okay. And something that you should actually do that I have that I'm not doing is that you should lock them so that they don't go to another place. Basically, if you look them, it makes it easier to move. The next one right here, I actually blocked the PowerPoint. So I have to select the PowerPoint on blocket and now I can move it and place it in a different location. Yeah, I think this one looks okay right here. And I have my image right here, but I would actually like the other image, which is the green screen, horizontal. And if we check it out, It's a little bit damaged as well. So we have to go to this source. And here's my head, this one. So now I have to look for the image which is this one. We can modify this one. Okay, let's modify it a little bit. I think this one looks okay right here. Then we look for my video capture, which is this one, and we have to make myself smaller two. Okay, This one looks good now. Definitely. Yeah, This one is good. So now that we fixed this one, it should be fixed on the PowerPoint. And there we go, it's fixed. And now we can just make this one bigger. Okay. And maybe a little bit smaller. I think this one looks okay right now. Yeah. Okay. This one green screen has a problem. I'm just going to make this one bigger. Okay? My image, I'm also going to make it bigger. This one doesn't look too good, but I don't think I'm going to use this one too much. That is something to also keep in mind that whenever you change them, you also have to rearrange them and it could take a little bit of time, but it shouldn't be too bad actually, it just takes a little bit of rearrangement. And if you rearrange them with the new scene, is not going to affect the other scene because they're considered like brand new, basically different. So if we go back to this one and we also change the profile to horizontal video. You can see that it's all, it's all good actually. Here I have to add my PowerPoint because I don't have the yeah, there you go. This is something else to keep in mind that you have to rearrange them. But once you have them properly rearranged, you shouldn't have this problem. Make sure to switch between scenes and profiles. This one PowerPoint should be this one. That's it for this one. Thanks for watching. 23. Adding Vertical PPTs into Videos: Okay, so now we are going to design a PowerPoint that we can also put into OBS. You already know how to use Canva and you can also use Canva if you want. But in this case we're going to use PowerPoint for what I want to show, which is this one. So if you want to make a PowerPoint like this that it looks small, it looks the same way as the new canvas that we have in OBS. We can just click on File then new presentation. Here we have a normal PowerPoint. We basically go over to design, slide design and page setup. And now we can actually write 1050 PXE by 1920 PX. Then scale. This is the way we can get a PowerPoint that looks similar to the new canvas that we have right here in OBS. For example, if I take this, it's now just the white square. I think I should just write something. Okay, click to add title. That's perfect. Okay? Yeah, Something like here, like this. And now if I try to put this PowerPoint, It's going to be the same size. So let's go to ppt. I think we should actually make a new one for this one. So we go to window Capture PowerPoint, vertical. For the window, we will select this one, then you slideshow, then OK. And there we go. And this one is the same size as the OBS. Let's actually just get rid of some of these corners and so it makes it easier to move. This is the way you can also do it. There you go. We can put a PowerPoint this way. So now let us just move my PowerPoint down. And you also have my face right here. And actually wanted to show you another one, which is by using some one that I've already made, this one. We can also add this PowerPoint as normal like this. I think it's going to be added. So let's go. And if you notice something whenever you put a slideshow, it keeps the previous one. And if you're looking for it, you will not be able to find it. Oh, no, you can't know. If you're not able to find it. It's possible that you need to switch between two profiles and then you'll be able to find it. So Power Point number two, PowerPoint vertical. If you do not find the switch between scenes, and then you'll be able to find it. For example, here I have my camera and I can also just remove my background if you'd like it this way. That looks pretty good actually. So let's select my, this one is a window Capture, which should be down. This one my, my green screen horizontally. I can just move it a little bit down if I want. And something that you can do that is even better in my opinion, is that you can change the color of this. So by going into Format Background, then we add the colors. We make the red 0, the green 255, and the blue 0. Then, okay? And applied to all. If we go back to OBS, we can change the background. We have to make it into a slideshow. And we go back to OBS, then select the new slideshow hoop right here. I cannot find it. So it kept the refresh by switching between scenes. And now I can find it. Once again, we select the vertical PowerPoint, we add a filter, and that filter is going to be the chroma key then. Okay? And we can kind of like play around with the similarity. Because it's possible that I have some green colors, for example, this one. And if the similarity is too high, you cannot see it. For example, here, it makes it into a green screen. You have to lower the, lower the similarity and where you play with the smoothness so that it looks good enough and it doesn't interfere with other green colors that you might have. For example, here where it says sensor. You have the, we have some trees. If the similarities too strong, the trees might start to disappear. That is not something we want. So I think this one is fine around this level. This is something else that you can do. Now we can even move our PowerPoint a little bit higher. And we can just, or we can make it even smaller, we can just adjust it. This one is the window Capture PowerPoint right here in the back, which is the one I want to delete it. I want to hide it. We can also make it like this a little bit smaller. And my phase, this one, I can make it smaller. So this is something else that you can do if you want to have some PowerPoints that kind of like this type of shape, you can also do it this way. So that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 24. Adding Desktop Audio to OBS: Okay, so now we're going to learn how to add your computer audio into OBS. So this one can be very useful. For example, if you want to show someone a YouTube video or something that has audio coming from your computer. And you want them to also be able to listen to it. There are two ways for this one. The first one is with a Windows computer, which is very simple. And the second one is with a Mac computer, which is a little bit more complicated, but we're also going to do it here. In order to add an audio device or computer audio, you have to click on the plus sign and click on this one. Audio output capture. This one is going to allow you to get the sound from your computer into OBS. And I'm gonna call this one computer sound. And then I click on, Okay. And if you're on a Windows, you can click on device and you're gonna have different options. And all of the options are going to be a device from your computer. So you can select the one that has the audio coming out. For example, it might be your speakers, so your computer speakers. If you have the option, you can check it out. You can click on it. And if you want to try it, you can also click on Start recording and see if you can listen to the audio on the recording. So basically you just select the device and then you click on OK and you'll be able to hear it. However, if you are on a Mac computer, you will not have any devices. So if you do the same thing, you go to Audio Capture Device, then click on Okay, this part is going to be blank. There are gonna be, they're not gonna be any choices. If you're on Windows, you can skip this part or skip a little bit to the end. But if you're on Mac, this is the part for you. So basically, if you're on a Mac, you have to go over to this link, which is called Mac desktop audio using black hole. So we're going to add this plugin. And basically I'm gonna put this on the lecture resources. And from there you can just click on download here. And he's going to send you to their page. So here you're just type your email address, your FirstName, LastName, and then click on Subscribe. And it's going to send you an email with the link where you can download this program. If you cannot find the e-mail, it's very likely that it's going to be in your junk email folder. Once you get it, you can just click on this link and it will send you over to their page for downloading. And from this one you can select any of these. I normally select the first one with two channels. I'm just going to click on this one and it will download it. Once you have it, you can just click on it and you can install it basically like you install anything on a Mac computer. I already have it installed, so I'm not going to go to the installation. You basically just hit click on continue, continue, continue. Basically. Once you have it installed, we're going to go over to our Launchpad and we're going to go to Other. And we want this program which is called audio media setup. You can click on it. And if you cannot find it, you can just press the command key and the spacebar, and you can search for it, audio, midi setup. Then you can just click on it. Now we have a new device, which is this one black hole to channel. If you go to output, I like to keep the format, add 44 comma 100. And in this volume part I like to keep it at the maximum level, level one value, one input. You can just leave this as normal electric keep the format at 44100. What we're going to do now is that we're going to go over to the plus sign and we're going to click on Create multi-output device. So we click on it. Now we can add a new device. So in this case, we are going to click on the black hole because we want that top one to be the MacBook Air speaker, so your computer speakers. So I'm going to deselect Black Hole and everything is going to move around. So now I can select MacBook speakers. And I'm also going to select the black hole after. I want these to select it. And now we can just get out of this one. And now what you want to go instead, you want to go to your System Preferences. And then you go over to sound. We click on sound. And then we go over to output right here. And we can select a device and output device. You might be on the MacBook Air speakers and you want to select this one, the multi-output device. And you can also check this one where it says Show sound in the menu bar. And you can select this one to always what this does. You might have it at when active. And if you look on the task bar at the top side, you cannot see the sidebar. You can click on Always to edit to the top of the bar. So if you cannot see it, you can just switch to input, then back to output. And it will appear. The reason for this is because we now have another channel, which is the multi-output device. And this one, you cannot move the sound. If you want to move the sound, you go back to your MacBook Air speakers and move it then back to the multi-output device. So what this does is that we now have to the sound going to two devices. We have it going through the black hole and to the MacBook computer. So make sure you select multi-output device. If you click on this one, black hole to channel is not going to work. So make sure it's this one multi-output device. We select this one. Now if we go back to OBS, we can now go back and click on Add and then an then add output capture. This one I'm going to call it my computer. Sound obvious. Then I click on, Okay, and for my device, I can select black hole. Then I just click on. Okay. So if you look right here, we now have it right here, computer sound OBS. So if I start to play a video, for example, here I have a YouTube channel. If you want, you can check out my YouTube channel. I just recently started this one. It's about international relations. It's mostly about the concepts of international relations and the theories. And if you cannot find that it's probably because I changed the name to something more professional. But if we click on a video, for example, this one. Now we have audio coming out from the computer. And if we go to OPS, we can see that it's moving. Whenever their sound, it starts to move. And this is what we wanted to have because it means that it's capturing the audio from our computer. One thing to keep in mind is that if you have computer sound coming through and you also have your microphone, is possible that your microphone might pick up on the sound from your computer as well. So I recommend maybe hiring the microphone, or I also recommend maybe making a duplicate, a duplicate scene. I'm going to call it no sound. Then. Okay. So now we have YouTube with our microphone sound, and it will click on this one with a note sound. We can disable, remember to disable the microphone on one and not on the other one. This way, if you have a video and you want to speak through the video, you can have it. And if you don't want to, you can switch over to this scene with no, without any microphone sound. And if you want, you can also put this with the hotkeys in the settings. This way you can press, for example, alt 67 or Alt Y or any key that you want on your keyboard. So this way people will not hear it or they will hear it. Let's give it a try. I'm going to record it. And now I'm going to play my YouTube video. Now I'm using the one where you can also have my microphone sound. And I'm going to switch over to the other one. Now you can probably don't hear me anymore. So now we can just check it out. We can stop the recording. And we can check out our file, which should be this one. To test it. One country studies the main power. This one works really well. Yeah, that's it for this one. That's how you can get the audio from your computer into OBS as well, which can be very useful for some people. That's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 25. Studio Mode: Now we're going to use studio mode in OBS. So this one can be a very, very good feature for many people out there. So let's check it out. Studio mode allows you to preview what you want to send in the left side. And on the right side is what people can see if you are recording or live streaming or using it as a virtual camera. So basically it allows you to modify before sending it. For example, people can be looking at my PowerPoint right here on the right side. And I can actually switch over to a web browser on the left side. And people do not see that I've changed. So I can start to, for example, configure. It adds some extra things. And the moment I press on transition, people will be able to see that. Now it's shown on the right side. So you can modify anything on the left side before sending it to the right side. For example, you might be giving a PowerPoint. Let's go back, let's transition. And you want to switch over to a YouTube video. You can select the YouTube video right here. And you can modify whatever you want. And once you're ready, you can just transition it and show it to anyone. Something else that you can do, for example, is that you're gonna be, you can also send them videos. For example, here I have the video tab, and I have added a few videos right here. You can also add them by going to add then media sources. These are some videos of some of my troubles. I'm going to start with this one from China so I can just unhide it and I cannot see it on the left side. And once I press transition, people will be able to see it on the recording. I can be, for example, talking and people will see my PowerPoint and transition. Now there will be able to see my video. Now I can, if I want to show them another video, I can turn it off and people don't know that I turned it off. And I can send them, for example, this other video transition. And there'll be able to see it. And I can turn it off and select that career video, then transition. And they can actually see the videos. And the videos also have the audio, as you can see on this side. This is very good, for example, for modifying things before you send them. For example, I have a PowerPoint right here, and I want to go back to this PowerPoint and change the background. I want to add, for example, another image as the background. Or I want to change this green screen and try another device or something like that. People cannot see that I did that. So I can start to modify my OBS however I want before actually sending it over, I can change, for example, the color source. I want a purple one, I can do it and I bring back my camera, then transition and the background changes. This can be a very good tool that allows you to prepare your slides or prepare your OBS before sending it over so that people can see it. This can be quite useful. And another thing, you can also mix this with hotkeys. For example, I can have a hotkey specifically for the web browser, for example, option five or something. And I can also add a hotkey for that transition button. So you basically go to settings and then you go to hotkeys. So if we go to Filter, then we type transition. It's this one. So I tried option space bar and this one didn't work. Maybe try a different one. For example, option C, Letter C. Let's see if this one works option C then, okay, and if I want to switch option C, option C, There we go, It changes. I want to switch over to YouTube, option C. There it goes. So for example, you can have a special one for any of these positions, like seen one. And you can use any of your hotkeys. And this one, option three then option C. Yeah, this one is better than for example, if you don't have the studio mode and you want to switch, everybody sees that you're switching. You do not have time to prepare them beforehand. So we'd studio mode. You can prepare what you want them to see. And once you're ready to send them your transition, this can be a very useful tool for many people, and that's it for this one. Thanks for watching. 26. Using OBS as a Virtual Camera: Okay, so now we're going to turn OPS into a virtual webcam that you can put into different programs like Zoom or Google meet ups or any other video conference programs. For that It's very simple. You just click here where it says start virtual camera. If it's your first time, it might ask you to put your user, your computer user password. But in my case it doesn't because it's not my first time. Now we can go to another program. For example, we can go over to a Google Meet and then we can enter a conference or a new meeting. So I already have the code and I'm going to join. Okay? And as you can see right now here we have our OBS camera. So you can see right here that OBS virtual camera is selected. So now we're going to join. There you go. So this one is my phone. So if you wanted to, if you do not see your camera here the first time, you can just click on More Options. Then you go to settings. Then here where it says video. You can just select it. Here where we have OBS virtual camera. If you want to change, for example, I kept my FaceTime camera, which is the one from my computer. Let's make it the main screen. Or we can also switch to OVS virtual camera, whereas this one is the audio. Also make sure you have your microphone and your speakers setup. The video. I'm going to select this one. Obvious virtual camera. Now if I select, for example, I can switch over to a different scene, for example, a PowerPoint. And it will also show up here. So in some programs it might actually show up the opposite way. But here I have the conference on my phone. And if you look on my phone, It's actually the correct way. You can see this correctly on my phone, it looks correct, but in your case, it might look different. It might look mirrored. So if it looks mirrored, don't worry about it. The other people can see it correctly. So basically whatever you have here in OPS, they will be able to see it in the conference software. So that's it for this one. 27. Connect OBS Camera to Zoom: Now we're going to add OBS into Zoom. For that, we're going to start our virtual camera and then we're going to go over to Zoom this one. Now I can just create a new meeting. Join with computer audio. There we go. We have OBS into Zoom. So if you want, if you do not see it the first time, you have to go here where it's your video. And then you can select it, for example, I can select my FaceTime camera, or I'm going to select the OVS camera. And now I'm going to, if you see it mirrored, you can go over to your video settings. Here. You might have this one where it says mirror my video. So make sure you don't have this one checked. You have this one back to normal? No. Mirroring my video. This way. You can also see it the same way that other people are seeing it. Yet this is basically how you can add OBS into, into Zoom and you can basically change around. For example, you want to add the PowerPoint you switch over and there'll be able to see your PowerPoint also on Zoom. So in my case, it might look a little bit slow right now, but that is because I have way too many open softwares. I have OBS, Zoom, Google, I have the QuickTime Player recording. I have the microphone recording the audio. I have way too many things going on. In your case, it might look much more smooth since you're probably giving it less of a CPU usage. So yeah, that's how you add OPS into Zoom. And that's it for this one. So thanks for watching. 28. Connect OBS Audio to Zoom or Other Platforms: Okay, so now we're going to add or audio from OVS and link it into any other platform, for example, Zoom or any other one that you might be using. For this one, it's a little easy. It's quite easy definitely. For this, you have to go over to Google Chrome and you have to go to this website, BV Audio.com. So you can just search for it on Google BV Audio software. And I'm gonna put the link also in the description. The one we want to download is this one, the virtual audio cable. For this, we just select whatever computer we have. For example, if we have a Windows, choose this one, and I currently have a Mac, so I'm going to download this one. And then we will click here to unzip it. And once we've downloaded, we will have some files inside. I'm going to select this one, the BV cable driver pack DOT DMT. And if you're on Windows, you have to run setup program in administrator mode. So in order to get administrator mode on a Windows, you basically just right-click on it, then it will give you the option to run on administrator mode. But if you're in Mac, you basically just click on it. So select this one and it will bring you to this site. You double-click this one, and then you basically go through the whole installation and I already have it installed. So I'm not going to go through all of this. In your case, you just click on continue, continue, continue. Once you have it installed, we are going to go back to OBS. In order to put the virtual cable into OBS. We're going to go here where it says Settings, then we select it. And then we will go over to audio, the audio tab. And here where it says money monitoring device. We can select the new cable, which is this one, be V cable. So we select this one. And what this does is that the sounds from OBS will go straight into the BV cable and then we just click on OK. The next thing you have to do is that you can select your microphone. Then you go over here to the toolbar that you click on this and then click this one. Advanced audio properties we selected. And here where we have our microphone, we're gonna change this one where it says audio monitoring. And we're going to select monitor and output. So we select this one. What this does is that the sound from microphone is now allowed to be heard. And basically that sound will be routed over to the new cable. For example, here we cannot see it, we cannot hear it because the sound is routed to the cable. But if we were to change it, for example here, and instead of selecting the cable, we select the MacBook Air speakers. Whenever I speak, you will be and then I click on Apply. Whenever I speak, you can hear my computer. So this is the issue. So if we select BV cable, that same sound coming from OBS will now be going over to the cable. Then we just click on, Okay, Remember to have this one selected. And another example, if you have some music or some videos, for example, here I have the videos. I can select them. Then once I go here I can select the same thing. Then advanced audio properties. I can add them as well. For example, I can change monitor and output for my three videos, monitor and output. And what this does is that the same coming, the sound coming from those videos will also be routed into the virtual cable, which you can put into Zoom, so that way people can watch the video and also listen to the video. Okay, it's a lot of stuff, but it's actually quite simple. Now the next part, the next part is going to be adding this into Zoom. So we go to zoom and I already have it open right here. And we're going to set up the virtual cameras started. And there we go. So in videos, here we have the OBS virtual camera and in audio, we can select it. So we can select a speaker, which will be the MacBook Air speakers. And when we select the microphone, we can select any microphone. In my case, I'm going to select BV cable because this will allow the microphone that's right here in OBS to be heard. And this microphone has a lot of filters. So this also works if you want to put a special filter into your microphone and then put that filter into Zoom or any other programs. So now we can just check it out. If I use my phone, whenever I speak, you can listen to it. We can change the speakers. Muted, mute my phone so you cannot hear it coming from my computer. You were hearing the sound from my phone to the computer. Now I can speak. It's other people can listen to it as well. One more thing, if you go over to your videos. The video you make, people will be able to hear it as well. So people will be able to see it on the conference and there'll be able to listen to it. Yet this is also something that you can do. Yeah, this feature can also be very useful if you want to use OBS together with conference program. Maybe you're teaching online and you want them to hear what's happening on your OBS, you can totally do that as well. Yeah. And that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 29. Editing Software you can use: So if you're recording a video, you can just click on Start Recording. And when you finish your video, you can also edit that video that you just recorded. And because it is possible that there are some parts in your video where you stopped and you didn't know what else to say. And it's possible to cut those sections to make your video flow more smoothly. And these are some of my recommendations for video editing software that you can use. One of them is this one, Da Vinci Resolve. So you can search it on Google. And Da Vinci Resolve has two options. They have the premium version which you can buy, and they also have a free version that has all of the tools that you might need for basic editing. So if you just want to do some basic costs and make it kind of like flow smoother. You can go for the basic free version, but they also depend a lot on your computer because some computers are much faster for video editing, while some are much slower. So this also depends on the aspects of your computer. So yeah, this one is my first recommendation. My second recommendation is this one, Camtasia. And Camtasia is very, very easy to use. It's very basic and you can basically edit your video very easily with the software. So this one is Camtasia and you can try the free trial or you can also pay for it. So this one, the main version is a paid version. You can go for the free trial or you can go for the paid version. But the paid version might be quite expensive, which is around $300 for the paid version. This is also another option that you can use. The next one is this one feel more. Fillmore, right, is quite similar to Camtasia. And as well, you can go for the free download or you can go for the paid version that has all of the features as well. This one is another recommendation. Another one is this one pile word Director. Yeah, you can also go for power director. You can go for the free download or the paid version. The paid version starts at 433 per month. And this one is another option that you can use if you're using a Mac computer, well, it's very lucky for you that you have a movie because you can get a lot of stuff done with iMovie. And the best part about it is that it's free and it comes already installed on every Mac computer. So if you have a Mac computer, then great for you. You can use this one. And another one for the Mac computers, which is the one that I used and it's my favorite one, is Final Cut Pro. Final Cut Pro comes with a free 90 day trial. And I think it's very good trial definitely. You can also check it out. And if you really like it, you can pay for it. Pay for the complete version. The last one is Adobe Premier. And Adobe Premier is a very popular one. And, but this one can also be a little bit expensive. So you can try the free trial or you can go for the full page version. So I think that the two best ones in my opinion are Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro. This ones are the more professional ones. But if you're just once something simple and free, you can try the Da Vinci Resolve free version and just play around with it. So you had these ones are some of my recommendations. I think that if you're in Windows, you can try the da Vinci Resolve. And if you're on Mac and you don't want to pay, you can just go for the iMovie dance for watching. 30. Making Cuts with Editing Software: Okay, so now we are going to do some basic editing. And the program that I'm gonna be using is this one Final Cut Pro. And one thing to know before we start editing is that sometimes the files or the rendering files that come from Final Cut Pro or some other programs can be very large. For that, I recommend rather getting some kind of SSD drive and I use this small Samsung SSD. And you can also, you can also put your library here, your Final Cut Pro or whatever library. So that way the files that Final Cut Pro makes are not going to take up too much space in your computer. But if they take too much space on your computer, Joe's, remember that you have to delete some of those files. So you can actually see them right here. If you look on the right side here we have the storage locations. And you can modify these settings. So my media, I can actually choose where it is. And I currently have them in some, some T7 in one of these portable SSD drives. That might be something that you also have to look into specifically with some kinds of video editing software. So let's start with the most basic part which is making cuts. In Final Cut Pro, this might be different in with other editing software. But in Final Cut Pro, you have to click here and start a new project. And then you can type it. I'm going to call this the OBS clotting cutting. Okay then, okay, here we go. So here is where we can put our video, and here we have our, the whole file, basically, the whole project. If you go to projects, it will be this one. Let's add one of my files. I'm going to add this one and I can just drag it there. There you go. So if we go to all video, you can see that I have one video right now, audio files, favorites and projects. So this one is a whole project. And if you go to smart collections, you can have access to everything, everything that is there basically. So I'm going to keep it in smaller connections. So now if you want to make some cuts, you can look for the part where you want to cut. For example, this one. There's a long part here that I'm not making anything that I'm not saying anything. I don't want this in my video. So I'm actually going to scroll a little bit to make this a little bit bigger. If you're using Final Cut Pro, you can see zoom in and out by doing this with your trackpad. If you're using a Windows computer or some other editing software, usually the scroll wheel might do it for you. Let's select this one. So let's listen to this one. I said nothing there. So I'm just going to cut it here, stop it here. And in your editing software, if you click on the right side, right side, you might get the option for cutting bud in Final Cut Pro, you have to give a command, command key. So you basically press Command and D letter B, and it costs it for you. But this might be different according to the editing software that you have. So you make sure you Google before which one is the key for cutting. In Final Cut Pro is Command B in yours. It might be something else. Actually, I'm just going to select this one and I can just click on the Delete key with them, my keyboard. There you go. We just deleted that part and we can listen. Okay, so this one I think I'm going to start a little bit closer. Maybe right here. I can just click Command B to cut and select this one and delete in Final Cut Pro. If you want to go forward, you can press the letter L. And then if you double press it equals even a faster three police even faster, four times faster. But this might be different from editing softwares. I'm just going to press the space-bar to listen to it. Okay, So if you see it right here. So another thing that I wanted to show is that if you see right here, I actually clapped. And if you look down here where I have the audio file, you don't see anything and then suddenly the audio goes up and then it goes down. I normally clap because it shows you exactly where you want to cut. So if you said something that you didn't want to say and you want to restart, you can basically just clip. Here, you can see it. I'm not saying anything. Clip and begin. This lets me know that I can actually just cut straight from here. And I can just click on contribute to cut and delete the part before and start again. Actually, I can see another cut right here. For this, I have to look at what I said before and then look at what I had said after cutting. I said nothing here. I think this part, I'm just going to cut it. So control B. Control B after the other clip. You can see that two lines there, that means that I made, I caught it usually clip so that I know where to make a cut, then Control V to cut and delete. Basically the way you do it is that you go through your whole video and see which parts you like. And there's something that you don't like, you can just cut through it. This one is the most basic function and the one that you're probably going to be using the most. So this way you don't have to make a video and just try to make it perfectly. If you mess up, you can fix that using an editing software. You can cut that part. And basically you fix that part. So that's gonna be it for this one. And thanks for watching. 31. Adding extra features: Okay, So now the next thing I want to show is how to crop. For example, let's say I want to get a part of this video. So we can go over here and then we can click on Crop and we can cut parts of the videos, for example, I can keep it like this. And then I click on done. However, if I do this, I will be doing it for the entire video until there is a cut. For example, here there is I caught and it goes back to the other one. So it makes sure you want to select the part you want to cut before you actually do it. I'm going to click on Command Z to go back control D. And I want to cut this part only for the parts where I'm coming up. For example, this one, I'm going to leave it right here. Then I'm going to press Control V to cut. And now the cropping will only affect this part until there's the cut. Let's try it out. I'm going to select this one then crop. And I'm just going to keep this screen basically. Then I moved this one and then I go this one down. Then I click on Done. The next thing I want to do is the other one. So this one is from cropping. And then there's also transform, which allows you to move and to make it bigger or however you want it to be. I'm gonna make this one a little bit bigger. And maybe I can make this one smaller twenty-five percent. And you can see that the black part is where the video will be at. If you go too much, this is you're going over. So make sure you're kind of like fixing it with the black parts at the corners with a black corners located. Then I think that looks okay. Then I click on Done, and then I'm gonna make it a little bigger. So yeah, it looks like this. Here. You can see that it will change. So yeah, it's not the same right here. This one doesn't have that filter that caught the specific crop, but this one does. So yeah. And another thing that I wanted to show is how to add some titles. So if you're in Final Cut Pro, you can go right here and you've got a selection of many titles, and you can also download some titles. For example, I downloaded this once, and I can also add them there. For example, I can add this one, I can just put it right here. And this one is even animated. This one looks pretty good. I think. We can just select it and then we can change the text. For example, I can put my name. I actually do not like the way the text font, Luke's, I can also change it right here. I can change the font for any kind of font that I want. I'm going to leave this one. I can make the size bigger or smaller. And then I can just move it. You can actually move both. You can move the text or you can move the whole box. So make sure you're moving the entire books. You can also do it this way. And let's look, let's look up. I think I have to move that text. I think this one looks pretty good right here. And see yet another way you can also add text. In Final Cut Pro. It might be different in any other software, is by pressing the Control key then the letter T. And this one brings you a basic title. So as you can see right here, it says title and then you can just customize it. For example, you can say video editing software, softwares. And then you can make it a little bit bigger. You can move it down. And you can change the font if you want. I'm going to select this one. And what I like to add is that I like to go where it says Outline, then click on Show. And I like to put some color bit in-between. For example, some black color, again selected black. And then I can make it a little bit bigger by increasing the width. You can actually see it even better. So you see, if I go too much and I think something right here, video editing softwares, or I'm just going to keep it at software. So the first one will bring me like my name, like this, and the second one will have video editing software just appear. You can also call it, for example, you can select it and Command B to cut. And you can even move this thing to another part if you want. Yeah, This one is how you add the text. The next thing I wanted to show is how to add some music. I have right here. I added some music files. I think it should be on my downloads. And I'm just going to select it and drag it down. This one is super simple. Now if we listen to it, you can just click on Start Recording. And when you finish your video. Yeah, This is the way you can also add music to it. And usually the music is very loud. So what I'd like to do is that I like to select the music and here you can download, you can make the volume lower. So I like to keep it at around negative 25 so that it's not so loud that it interrupts with what I'm saying. If I listen to it. Also edit that video. Did he just kind of like they're in the background, but it's not interfering with what I'm saying. So here you can also do it this way and something else that you can add our images. So you can basically just grab the image you want to add and then just drag it in there. And if we look to it, you can also, we can see the image coming up. So we can select the image, then we can transform it by clicking right here in transform. And then we can just make it smaller and we can move it to wherever we want. For example, if we look at it, you can also, I think that looks okay. The next thing we want to add our videos. You can also put videos in it. So here I have a video and I can just drag it in. For example, M speaking, because it is. And there you go. The veto is coming up in the background. So if you have some extra videos that you want to add, you can also do them. And you can also add them into displace. If I put it on the top, I can keep the audio. As you can see, the audio is behind it. So I can keep on talking and people can see the video. But if you put the video right next to it, you will not have my audio. For example, right here. If I talk. There's no audio anymore. That is because if you put it up, you can keep on talking or you can also. And you can listen to both. But this one doesn't have any sound. And if you wanted, you can also remove this sound. For example, if I select this one, I can remove this sound either by scrolling down right here where we have the sound bar, or I can just select it, then go to sound, and then just delete the value, decrease the volume all the way to 0. This is the way you can also mute your own videos or other videos. And another thing you can add are some special effects for transitions. So if we go here we have two options. We have effects which makes it look a little bit different, makes your image look different. For example, if I add this one that says comic basic, I'm just going to select a small part. And we edit can make basic is going to change the way it looks. This one looks a little interesting. Yeah, this is something that you can also do. You can change for comic vintage. Let's see how that looks. You can also add these kind of effects. There is, there are many effects right here. You can add some. You can also change the way your audio sounds by adding a side effect. And another thing you can do is that you can go to the other one in the right. And here we have transitions. These ones are basically transitions that you can put wherever there is set, cut, their so-called in-between one part of the clip to the other one. So I can add, for example, this one center and I just put it right here. And it will look like this where you stopped. You'll see there's kind of like a transition like this. And you can also play around with them. You can try the circle transition. Let's see how this looks. This makes it like a circle. And the one I really like is this one which is called glitch pack. And this one doesn't come with OVS, but you have to download it from websites on the Internet. So you can find some websites that offer free transitions that you can just download and then put into OBS. The one I like is highlight glitch and glitched diagonal. Let me show you how this one looks. I'm going to add this one right here. And I'm gonna remove this. I think I'm also going to remove the effect for this one. If you want to remove on effect, you can just select what you want. Then go here. You can delete the effects right here. I'm going to delete comic basic and commit vintage, and you should be back to normal. Let's check out these transition some parts in your video. Okay? This one actually works even better if you're switching from one to the other. Let me check this one, for example, like this. I can add a transition right here and let us look into it. This one looks like this. And there's such a transition. I think. That looks pretty good as well. Let's bring the volume back up and look at it. These are some of my recommendation. This one looks pretty good as well. So these are some of the most basic things about Final Cut Pro. And then you can do with some editing software. However, all of them are going to have different types of features. For example, these ones are unique to Final Cut Pro, but if you're using something like Camtasia or feel Mora, you might have different types of effects on different types of features. And it might look a little bit different from this one. But final code price, the one that I'm mostly used to. But my recommendation is to play around with the software. And the most basic thing you will probably do is to make cuts. But if you wanted to make it a little bit better, you can also add some effects and transitions and things like that. That's it for this one. I tried to add as much as I could in one lesson. Thanks for watching. 32. Exporting your Video File: Once you're done editing your video, you added some extra effects, some pictures, some texts, some sounds, some music. Now it's time to export your video. And this is the part where everyone is going to have different results. The reason for this is because some computers take this much slower and others are much faster doing this. For example, I had a very old kind of like Windows computer and it was almost impossible to export the video. It will take hours in with just one video. But now I got a new computer and this one just docid in a few in a few minutes. In some cases, even just a few seconds. To do that, you have to go right here. If you're using a Mac, it's going to be very, very fast. But if you're using a Windows, it depends on the specs of your computer. For that. We're going to go up here and I'm going to click on Export File. Final Cut Pro gives you some extra ones. And basically I liked the first one. Export the file. You can also export to YouTube and Facebook. It doesn't make a big difference, but it's going to make it for like a smaller size file. So the one I want is this one that says Export file. So I click on it. And you can also, you can actually see the difference here. This one is going to be 560 megabytes. And you can look at some of these settings. So it's going to export the entire resolution. And this ones are also okay. This one's you don't have to touch. For example, if we look at the other one, which is the YouTube and Facebook option. And then we go to the settings. We can see that this one is going to be 57 megabytes, which is much smaller, but the resolution is also smaller. So if we go higher, this one is going to be 377 at the full resolution quality. So sometimes going for YouTube and Facebook option is going to be smaller. But basically anyone, any of these types of videos you make, you can also put them on Facebook or YouTube. The one I like is the normal export file. Let's click on it. And I think all of the settings look okay, you can also name it. I'm just going to leave it like this and I'm going to click on Next. And then I have to select the folder where I want it. I'm going to go for OBS files, and then I just click on save. And if you look on the left side here, we can see the time that it takes for doing it. So this one is going to take, I would say about a minute or less than a minute to complete, but it will be different according to your computer. I know this because I had a super slow computer and doing this was impossible. So I tried to get a good computer if you're going to do some video editing. Yeah, that's my recommendation and thanks for watching. This one should be done in a few seconds. 33. Creating your YouTube Channel: Now we're going to create our own YouTube channel. And there are two ways. The first one is if you have never used YouTube and you don't have a YouTube user, then you basically have to click on Sign In. And then you can either sign in with your Google account. So if you have, for example, a Gmail or any type of Google account, you can sign in with that one. And if you don't have a Gmail account, then you have to create an account. Then select for myself for my child to manage my business. For example, I can go for myself. And then you have to put your FirstName, lastname, email, address, and password. And basically go through all of the steps. Once you have finished all of the steps, you now have your own YouTube account. So you can see your account right here on your top right corner. And from there you can see your channel, your purchases, your YouTube Studio. And if you want to create a YouTube channel, you can basically just go to your channel and add views from there. But if you already have a channel and you want to make a more unique one, you can go here towards says set. And then you go to your account right here, and you can see your channel. And if you go right here to where it says Add or manage your channels, you can click on it. And you'll be able to create a new channel that is not related to the one that is your main channel, your main account. This can be quite useful. For example, if you have your main account that are used for commenting or you want to keep private or anything. You want to create a channel related to some other type of topic, or you want to create multiple channels with different topics. For example, here I have a channel that's related to Spanish, spanish with Hugo. And here I have another one that I want to make it related to international relations. I don't post too many videos yet, but that's still a work in process. I'm still adding a few more videos on YouTube. For that, you can click on create the channel. You can add a channel name. For that. I can type a name, for example, mess the ring OBS. Then I click on, I understand that I'm creating a Google account with its own settings. Then I click on Create. There you go. We have now added that brand new channel, which is called Mastering OBS. So you can see right here that I have my main channel, my main account, and you now have an option right here that it says switch account. You can use this one to switch between different accounts. So right now I'm using my main one. And it says that here you don't have any videos and that is because we are not exactly on this channel right now. You have to click on your account, Switch Account and select it. Now, you can see, you can see by the top-right corner that we are now on this channel, we are now on the mastering OBS channel that we just recently created. You can click right here on your channel. You now have the options to upload videos and to customize the channel manager videos. So if you're in another one, for example, my main account, you do not have the option. You can see that you do not have the option to add videos. You'll have to click on switch in order to have those options available. So now I'm in the messaging OBS new channel. Okay, so that's it for this one. This is how you create a YouTube channel. That it can be not related to the one where you have your main account. You can make multiple YouTube channels related to multiple topics basically. So that's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 34. Design a Profile Image with Photopea: Okay, so now we're going to customize our profile picture. For that, we can just go over to our profile, then click on your channel, and it will send us over to this page. Now we click here where it says Customize channel. And it will send us over to the YouTube studio some. From here we have to be in the customization tab. And then we click right here where it says branding. And here we have two options. We can add a profile picture or we can add a banner image to add a profile picture. I like to go over to photo P to this website photo p.com. Then I click on New Project. And here where it says social, we have several options. We can actually add a U2 profile image right here. And we can also add a YouTube cover image. I'm going to select this one YouTube profile. It will put all of those settings design for the YouTube profile image. For the background, we can leave it white, black, transparent or custom. I usually like the transparent background. We can also grab a template from this one, see if you want. But in my case I'm not going to grab one. I'm just going to click on Create. And it brings us over to this part. So I recommend keeping these two selected auto select and transform controls because this makes it easier to drag and drop different images and text and anything you have. So the first thing I want to add is an image, and I have an image right here and I'm going to drop it. This is what I'm saying. If we do not have auto select and transform controls, It's a little bit, it might be a little bit hard to move around. For example, I can actually move it around because that's the only thing we have. But if I add something else, for example, a square, I can use a little bit hard to move the square and a little bit hard to move these ones. You have to individually select them in order to move them. That's the reason why I like to have these two selected. Okay? I'm going to delete this one. And this one. Here. I'm gonna put this one in the center. And I also want to add background. So I'm going to go over to this square, and I'm going to make a square right here. And up here I can change the color. So I'm gonna select something about a dark blue. And if we look on the right side, we can see that the shape is on top of the picture. We want to make the picture be on top of the shape. So these ones are different layers, just like in Photoshop. If you put this layer on top, this one will be in the bottom, in the back. You cannot see it. So make sure this one is on the top. The next thing I want to add in some text, so I can go over here. Then I can just click and wait a few seconds. We now have the text. So I'm going to call this one mastering OBS. This one is a little bit hard to see, so I'm going to select it with Command a or Control a and increase the size, maybe right here. Then I can click with a checkmark and then I select this one. This one is for selection for moving and I can just move it. I also want to change the colors, so I'm going to select it and the color, I'm gonna make it white then, okay. Yeah, this one looks pretty good as well. And you can also change the font. For example, we can select it and we go up here. We can select from many types of different fonts. And we also have a preview right here. You can select whatever we want. I'm going to go for this one, grabbed the test one. Okay. Let's see how this one looks like. I don't like it too much. No, I don't like this one. I'm going to select a different font. And I'm going to go for geometry. I'm just going to keep this one as the example. Mess the ring obvious. Okay, sure, this one, if you want to modify it a little bit more, you can select the layer. Then on the right-click, you can select Blending Options. Here you have many other ways of modifying this file. For example, we can add a outer glue. We can basically put some glow to it. But the one that I want to add is this one that says stroke. Because stroke gives it a nice outline In-between. I'm going to select the black color than okay. It's a little hard to see, but I think it looks, it makes the letters come out a little bit better. Then I can click on, Okay. And I think this one looks pretty good so far. So you can just keep on playing around with the different tools and features is basically like a free version of Photoshop, but it can be quite complicated. In the beginning, I'm going to keep this one. And now I can click on File and Export as PNG file or a JPEG file. Pngs are good if you don't have any backgrounds. So if you download this as a PNG, you will have this and the picture, but no background. Jpegs are good if you have a background. But in my case, I can select either one. Pngs are much bigger in size and JPEGs are smaller. I'm going to select PNG and I'm going to click on Save. Now if we go back to our channel right here, we can click on Upload. Then we can select the new image we have. I think this looks okay. And then we can click on Done. I don't like it because I think this one looks pretty small and the letters also look quite small. So I'm going to make them a little bit bigger. Now. You can also take this as kind of like a way of seeing a preview and then keep on modifying from there. Actually one thing I want to do is that I want to lock this one, lock the background so that I can select only these two. And I'm going to hold the Shift key and I'm going to go up and make them bigger. I think this might be a little bit better right here. Let's try this one file, export as a PNG file. Save, then change and edit. This one looks much better. Definitely, I'm gonna keep this one. And we can just click on Publish right here. And the new profile image should be coming up right here we have a new profile image. You can basically customize however, your image, however you want. That's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 35. Design a Banner Image with Photopea: Okay, so the next thing we want to do is customize the banner image. We're going to do the same thing we did with a profile picture by going over to photo P. Then we click on File New, and we can select this one, YouTube cover. So I'm going to select this one and then I click on Create. We can also transfer the same images that we have in this project over to the new one. You can actually see that we have two projects right here. I'm going to go for the first one. I want to transfer the blue. Then you can click on Control C to copy then Control V. There we go. We have the blue background and then we can just make it bigger. Okay, that looks pretty good. I'm going to lock it right here so that I don't move it by accident. Then we can select the new one. I'm going to select the image right here, control C, control V. Now we bring this one up on top of the background, the blue background. We can just move it around. The last thing I want is this one, the title, so Control C, and we go back and Control V. And there we go, we have the title as well. I'm going to make the title load little bit bigger by selecting it, clicking several times. And I'm gonna make it maybe this size mastering obvious. One of the issues that you might have with banner images is that there's different sizes for different devices. If you're a mobile device, it might be smaller when a computer a little bit bigger and on TV much bigger. So we have to design this to be somewhat in the center so that it can be seen in every device. And this can be a little complicated in the beginning. So let's try like this. And I'm going to click on File, then export as a PNG and save. So let's see if this is properly centered. We'll click on Upload. Then we selected. Here we have three options. We have beautiful on all devices. And it seems that the title is somewhat centered. Maybe I'll make it a little bit more down. The picture is too big, so I'm gonna have to make it smaller. On desktop. We will see all of these, these big line. So I still have to fix these two things. On TV. We can see everything. I'm going to customize this one's by making the title go down a little bit more. I'm going to put it, push it down. And I'm also going to make this one smaller. So I'll hold the Shift key, then a, make it smaller. I think this looks okay. Let's see export as a PNG. Save and check out the new one. This one looks pretty good. So now what I can do is that I can select, and I can also copy this one. I can make a few more. So I can keep on, I can click on Command C, command V, and we have a new one. So Command Control C, Control V. And we get some new ones right here. So I'm going to make them, I'm going to make a new one. Control V should be right here. Control V should be right here. And one more control V. I think this one could be. Okay. Let's see how this looks like. Export as a PNG, Save and Upload. Then select this one. Okay, I think I have to make them a little bit more to the left so I can select all of them. Then move it more to the left. Right here, right in the center. Okay, perfect center and left. Adding this one should be good. Center. Okay, so this one, I'm pretty sure there will be no problems. We can select the new ones and upload. Okay, perfect. I think this one looks good. I can click on Done. And publish. Been published. We can click here then go to my channel. And we go back here. And I think this one looks pretty good. The banner image looks good. Of course, you can modify it at different types of pictures as you want, different icons. So yeah, I think this one looks pretty good right now. That's it for this one. And thanks for watching. 36. Design a Thumbnail with Photopea: Now we're going to create a thumbnail image using photo p. For that, we can click here where it says new project. We can also just click here where it says YouTube cover. But in my case, I'm gonna make it 1920 by 1080. And the background, I wanted transparent. Now I just click on Create and we get a blank page. I'm going to drag one of my images right here that I just took. And let's drag it here. It's this one I just took this image and now I'm going to make it bigger. Maybe right here a little bit down. I think this one, this one looks good right here. Now what I want to do is cut half of the image to be normal. And the other half is going to have a green screen effect. For that, I can select this one, the selection tool. And I'm going to go right here. This one. So now I can click on Control C, then Control V. You can see on the right side we now have a new layer, which is the other half. Okay? Now I'm going to select the original image and I'm gonna make a duplicate layer because I'm going to add the green screen filter, but I'm gonna make a duplicate just in case I really mess up, I can always go back to the original image. So I'm going to hide the original one. And let's try. Let's select this one and I go to Select, then magic caught. Okay, so we can see that some parts have been selected, but I want those parts to be in the picture. For example, my lamp. I know this is actually the right side, doesn't matter too much because we already have a layer that's gonna be on top of it. So what do you want to do is that you want to make the left side look better. I'm going to make, I'm gonna make the left side disappear by using the red one. Now my computer disappeared. So I have to get my computer back. And I won that cable to be there too. And this one, my camera, I think my camera looks alright there. Let's zoom in. Then I can drag. I just want this to be removed. I went a little bit more of the red here. This one, I have to use the gray to erase this part. Let's see how it looks like. I think I need some green right here. Okay, it's kind of getting the cabled back. I'm going to select this one. This one is actually the hardest part. Tried to trying to get this thing to show up. Okay, it's over there. So now I'm going to click on OK. And you can see that now we have this layer on top, which is the picture that we caught. And this one is the new one. So I think this one looks pretty good. The next thing we want to add is the background. So I just drag and drop. And now I can move the background down underneath. I think it looks okay, Actually, yeah, definitely. Now I'm going to select the background and I'm going to give it a filter, a blur filter, some Gaussian blur. And this one is Fool. And I wanted a little bit blurry. Maybe around this one then. Okay. Yeah, I think this one looks pretty good. Looks good so far. And now I just have to play around with the colors. So I'm going to select my layer, my, my other part, the one we green screened. And I'm going to select them and I'm going to click on Convert to Smart Object. And there you go. So he basically gets both of them into one. And now I can add some brightness and contrast. And it will affect both of them. So it doesn't only affect one image, it's actually affecting both images. The one that he's just a cut and the one that I put the green screen, the green screen filter. So we can now just play with the brightness, play with the contrast, and maybe play around with the exposure, the offset. So basically play around with the tools. Okay, This one doesn't look good. Gamma correction, maybe around here. And we can also add no gimmick eruption, know, a little bit less of the exposure. Okay, Let's set something else, some vibrance. This one is looking okay, saturation, know, maybe lower the saturation. Maybe around there. We can also add some color balance, some red greens and blues. So I can make the red standout a little bit more. The greens maybe a little bit less. And the blue. Think that looks pretty good. So once we have a background and we think it looks pretty good, we can now just go over to File, then export as a PNG file. And we can click on, we can put a name to it. I'm going to call it thumbnail, picture, OBS course. Then I can click on Save and it will download it. So I can just click on it. And there you go. Yeah, I think it looks good as a thumbnail picture and we can use it for the course image. So that's it for this one. Thanks for watching. 37. Design a Thumbnail with Canva: Okay, so now we're going to create the different type of thumbnail image. But now we're using Canva, which is canva.com for our image. We can go right here to the search bar and we can type U2, thumbnail, right here, YouTube thumbnail. And we can select it. It will give us a lot of different types of thumbnails that we can use. Some of them are paid, for example, this one is paid. This one is for producers, but some of them are free. For example, this one is free. This one is also free. This one is pro, this one he said paid one. So I'm going to select this one, the product review. Let's try this one. From here. We can just customize it. And one thing that I like to do is that sometimes I like to mix it with photo P. For example, if I want to get my image, my picture to look like this, I need a green screen. So let's go to photo P, and let's grab my picture and let's throw it in there. And now I can just click on Select Magic caught. Okay? And I think this one looks pretty good right here. I think you did a good job so far. So I'm going to maybe delete a few more parts. For example, the couch. I'm going to select this one, then it just click on, Okay. Then I go to File Export as PNG file. We needed to be PNG because there is a background and the background is transparent. So whenever you use a PNG, it will also be transparent. Jpeg does send do that. So now we go back to Photoshop and we can delete this girl and we can add our own image. We just drag and drop. There you go. Oh, we have two. I'm going to select one. And I can actually make it bigger now. I'll make it a little bit bigger. And we can start to modify it. For example, like this, or maybe a little bit bigger. Then if we've held the option key, the Alt key, we can delete this part. I'm going to leave it around here. Then we can close and move it more. Okay, how does this loop? Something around this? I think this one looks okay. Maybe around here. Now we can just customize it like a normal PowerPoint. So I'm gonna delete this here. I'm going to call it OBS for beginners. And I also want this yellow thing. So I'm going to lock my picture right here so I can click on the lock. And now I cannot move my picture, but I can move the one in the back so I can move this one. I think I had to make it bigger too. Yeah, I can make it even bigger. Like this. I wanted to kind of like halfway maybe around here because if I go up, my microphone gets distorted. I think I did a bad job with the green screen. And let's rotate it a little bit. I guess it's okay. These darker one right here. And this other bar, I can move it over here, I guess. There you go. I think this one looks like a good kind of thumbnail picture that you can use. Basically just play around with Canva. There's lots of different templates that you can use. And you can come up with something looking quite nice if you use it. So now if I wanted, I can just click on Download as a PNG file and download. And there you go. We now have our PNG file so we can click on it. I think it looks okay so far. So yeah, you can also do it this way. That's it for this one. Thanks for watching. 38. Design a Thumbnail with PowerPoint: If you don't want to use Canva or a photo P, You can also do your own designs using PowerPoint. Something I like to do first before starting a PowerPoint is that I like to go to photo P. Then click on New Project because we can see the sizes of the things we want to do. For example, if you want to make an Instagram post is 1080 px by 1080. If we go to PowerPoint, we can go over to the sign, then slide size, then Page Setup. And here we can add 1080 px by 1080 px and it will convert it to inches. Now we click on Okay, then scale. We can start doing our design straight from here, right on PowerPoint. So if you want to do a thumbnail, you can just go to slide size, then write 1920s PX. Remember to write Px by 1080 px. And now we can just click on Okay, and skill. Yeah, This one will be the size of our thumbnail. From here, you can just start customizing it. So here I have some backgrounds. I can just edit. Here. I can just make this one longer. And also this way. Yeah, basically you can just start customizing it as you wish. I also have the other pictures from photo P that we just made. We can also add them here and we can start customizing it. We can also corrupt. Let's go to Crop and let's delete some parts. Maybe right here. Okay? Then let's crop again over here. And let's crop, okay, This one looks okay, I guess, right here. So select and maybe around here. Okay, Let's screw up the bottom part. Maybe this one. We can also put it wherever we want and we can make it bigger. There is also, you can also do it this way. And we can also add some text. I think everyone knows how to use PowerPoint by now. So let's go over to Home and add a text box. And I'm going to say OBS for beginners. And we have to make this one bigger because it's hiding in the background. And also wanted to be white. I also wanted to have an outline for that. I can just select it. Then I go over here to Format, Shape, text option Send at a text outline of a solid line. I want it to be black. The width. I wanted to live a bigger Let's see. Okay. Maybe that's okay so far. Yeah, and you can also change the font. Maybe this one impact. That one looks okay. And let's add an older image. I have an image of the OBS symbol, and let's make it bigger. Here you can also design some background, some thumbnails using PowerPoint, but I think they don't look as nice as using the other software. For example, if you use Canva, it might look a little bit nicer. If you know how to use photo P, then you can make it look even, even nicer. Okay, So if you want to save it, you basically just go over to File Export. You can select the file format for PNG or JPEG. And one very important thing, it might your, in your case, the width and the height might be different. Might be something like 790 or something different. So if your width is different, tried to make it 1920 by 1080 because this one will give you the highest quality. For example, if we export it. And it's each slide that you have, we'll be at a separate file. So if you have multiple slides, you will have multiple files. Let's click on okay. And if we go here, we can look for OBS PBT. The first slide. There you go, that cell or thumbnail picture. But I don't fully recommend using PowerPoint because we kept some better tools that can give you even better quality than just using PowerPoint. So my first recommendation is photo P. My second recommendation is Canva. Canva is much easier to use, but a photo peak has more advanced features. So that's it for this one. Thanks for watching. 39. Adding your videos to YouTube: Okay, so now we are ready to upload our first video. To what a video, we can go to our channel here where it says your channel. And we can just click here where it says upload video. So we click on it. Now, I can either drag and drop the video file or I can select it manually. So in my case I'm just going to drag and drop. So I click here. It will be starting to upload it. So the first thing you want to add is a title and you want the good title for your video. So I'm just going to make a random title. I'm going to say how to install OBS. For beginners. That description, you can put a description about your video, for example, in this video, talk about show how to install OBS Studio for beginners or anything. You can basically add anything when the description for the thumbnails, we can add a thumbnail right here. And basically just added like you would a normal picture. And to gain access to this feature, actually, you have to first verify your phone number. So you have to click on Verify. And they can send you a verification code. So this is basically to verify your profile, your brand new profile. You have to select your place where you live in, for example, the United States, and then you put your phone number and get it verified. So we're going to do this later. The playlist, you can create some new playlist, but we're not gonna do that. And this one they require you. This one is your video made for kids. So is your video in particularly made for kids? And in my case, no, it's not it's not made for kids. It's made for adults, not specifically for kids. And we can also click here where it says Show More. And while we do this, actually the video is uploading. So you can actually see right here, it's at 17% and it keeps on going. And you can, you can say if you have any paid promotion in your video, you can select that one here. You can add automatic chapters in your video. You can also add tags and this can be quite useful. For example, you might say OBS Studio. Then to change, you can just add a comma or OBS, or course creation. Online. Course, Zoom or something like this, something that is related to what your video is about. And you can also add the language. For example, the language of my video is going to be an English. You're gonna get some closed captioning, some subtitles, some automatic subtitles. So I can just look for the letter E, English from the United States caption certification. You can just leave this certain non basically and recording data location. You don't need to put this one's category where your video is at. For example, my video is about technology, science and technology, and comments and ratings. I think I like to keep this one whole potentially inappropriate comments for review. If you choose on all comments, anybody can leave anything. But if you select this one, it will notify you if somebody has a very, very inappropriate message that you have to manually review because it's bad and it can be really bad. So yeah, I like this one because it's basically the default option. And sort by the top comments or the newest comments. And you can show right here how many people like your video. If you don't select this one, you will not have any likes. And now there's no dislikes either. So people don't know if your video is a good video or a bad video. How many likes there are? This one, just keep it on if you want because there's no dislikes, so it's those and make a big difference. The next thing you want to do is click on Next. If you have subtitles, you can add them. For this, you have to wait until your video is finished processing. You can add an N screen at some cards, but we can just click on next ten checks. This is going to check if your video has any copyrighted content or material. So this can be useful. For example, if you have if you have a friend that you want to send it to, but you need to have their email or their Google address, their Google account. So you don't know if that person has at Google account. You can also keep it at unlisted, which means that anybody use send the link, your YouTube link will be able to watch the video. The private one is only for specific people. Unlisted is for anyone with the link, which can be your friends, you can send it over to your friends. But if your link gets into the Internet, into somewhere else, a lot of people can see it. So they can click to it is not private, but it's only people with the link that can watch it. And public is basically for anyone, anybody can watch your video. You can also put a schedule of the time you want your video to be made public. And the next thing to do is just click on Save. Once you have all of your settings done. And it will start uploading it in the background. So you can just click on Close. And it will be uploading it right here. This is basically how you do it, but don't close the tab. You can just cross over to different tabs. But if you close it, you might close your video uploading. And you can also cancel your upload if you made a mistake. Or you can edit it again by clicking here and add more things. Verify your phone number. This is basically how it works. 40. Scripting, Bulletpoints and Outline: Another recommendation I have is if you don't know how to start a video or what you want to say. You can either start this way, for example, you can create a script of what you wanted to say. Basically just created straight from your head. What do you want to say, how you want to say it? And you create a script. And from that script you can turn it into bullet points. So you get the main parts of this and you put them into a bullet point. And once you start making your video, you can basically just go through the bullet points and it will make it easier for you to remember what you wanted to say and you don't get lost in the middle of making a video. And another way you can also do it is this one. This one is an example of a Spanish course that I created. And each one right here is the video that I made. The first one is the first video, the introduction. And then I made some bullet points of what I want to go through during the video. This one is kind of like a more extreme example because there's a lot of things right here. This one is a very easy way of making kind of like an outline of what you wanted to say and what you want to create your video. This can be very useful for some people that don't know where to start. How are they going to structure their video? So this basically gets all of your ideas into a structure. And once you start making a video, once you're in camera, It's way easier this way. But of course it depends on the topic. There are some topics that you can just get straight from the top of your head like the one I'm doing right now. And there are other topics. For example, if you want to make a promo video where you have to speak straight and you don't want to have many pulses in-between, then I recommend going through the script type. And in some cases I recommend the bullet, the bullet points. And in other cases, if you want to make a very long course, you can write all of your ideas into a very, very long Microsoft Word file and then just go through the bullet points. Those are my recommendations. And thanks for watching. 41. Thanks!: Congratulations on completing this course. If you have any questions, you can always send me a message. Or if you have questions related to OBS, you can also Google for the solution. Because if you have a problem with OBS, it's likely that other people had the same problem as well. So Google has many solutions to problems related to OBS. And feel free to check out some of my other courses. I have courses on Spanish and other topics. So many thanks for taking this course and thanks for watching.
