1. Introduction: Do you like travel? I
surely adore traveling. It is my favorite hobby. Exploring different countries, different cultures,
different activities. It's a valuable part of life. However, one thing
I do not like about traveling is the whole
pre traveling part. The bookings, the confirmations, the flights, the
resorts, the hotels, the accommodation, the
planning, the itineraries, the whole stuff, could be quite hectic and quite time consuming. In order to have a successful vacation, whether for business, whether for an
actual leisure time, you need to have a properly
programmed vacation. In order to have
its smooth travel. However, when it comes to
planning these things, the chances of things
going wrong is quite easy. But with the use of Cha GPT
and artificial intelligence, I'm going to teach
you how to plan the perfect vacation from AT Z, the flights, the hotel, the resorts, the bookings, the arrangements, the itinerary, the activities, all of that. We're going to cover it
in this current class.
2. Your Project : Your project for the current
course revolves around using Cha GPT in order to plan
for your next trip. Weather for business,
weather for leisure, you're going to plan
the itinerary from A to Z using the current
teachings in the lesson, and you're going to be sharing
it with us for feedback.
3. Setting up ChatGPT for Travel: Thing we need to
do is we need to set up Chad GPT and primate. Now, I'm assuming that you're familiar with the interface, you have an idea that you
have used CAD GPT before, and it's not the first
time that you're using it. So when we're trying to deal
with Chad GPT, first of all, you can either just
simply log in or you can use the interface without logging and we'll get
the same results. But obviously, once you log, and you're able to use
more advanced models to get further
enhanced outcomes. However, for the sake
of traveling, will do. So what we need to do
is we need to primate. We need to put Chad
GPT in este to help us with our travel
planning and execution. So we need to give it a role
act as a travel agent and an expert traveler to help me plan my next vacation. So now, the first thing, what I'm going to do is, I'm going to prime Chad GPT in order to behave in a certain
context in a certain way. That way, I'm going
to be able to get results which literally
match my expectations. So the first thing that you need to do is to define a role, act as a travel agent, or an expert traveler, and then give it the outcome, which is to plan the next vacation or to plan
the next business trip. Now, what did Chad GPT do here? It gave me some areas that it could as assist
with, for example, destination preferences,
travel dates, budget, travel style, interests, travel companions,
previous trips. All of these are considered additional information
that I could add simply at the beginning with J
GPT to help me build my upcoming vacation or
myo business travel trip, based on a theme, a context, or my
own preferences. Now, you could add
either one of them, one, two, three, four, 56
or seven, or all of them. And once you feed this
information to chat GPT, you will further
enhance the prompting. It will have a working memory to give you results based
on your preferences. But since we are going to
build this from scratch, I'm not going to add any
of those preferences. What I'm going to
do is, I'm going to walk you through
now the sequence of planning to travel all the way to the flight establishment, the residents establishment,
and the bookings, and the process of identifying
cost effective solutions, and building the
program from A to Z. Now, let's transition
to the next stage.
4. Finding Destinations: Now we are going to build upon this example one step at a time all the way till
we get to the end result. That way, you have a
clear sequence of events, which would make perfect sense when you're trying to
do this by yourself. So with primed Chad GPT
at the beginning, right? Let's say, I'm exploring
potential travel destinations. I'm planning to travel. This is where we highlight the certain month that we're
planning to travel at. I'm planning to travel
in the month of August, and I want you to list the
key travel destinations which are recommended to visit
in August and why. So I'm going to ask GPT
right now to give me a list of travel destinations for
the month of August and why, just to make sure that it's listing things which
would make sense. So now click enter. So let's take a look at this. First of all, It gave
me a brief highlight of why August is considered to be a fantastic time to travel
with many destinations. And then it started to list the destinations in
order, one, two, three, starting off with,
for example, Santerni, Greece, why to visit, and the key highlights. So it will tell you at
this current stage, why to visit such a destination,
what's special about? This? Let's go through
this together. August is prime time to enjoy Stern stunning sunset,
crystal clear waters, picturesque white
washed buildings, the warm sunny weather
is perfect for exploring beaches and
enjoying outdoor dining. High lights, sunset and ia, volcanic beaches,
and ancient ruins at Actre, for example. So I gave you the
reason to visit a place and the key
highlights within the place. Take Tokyo, for example.

in August. Here we go. So based on this,
it gave me a list, and apparently it sorted
out the list initially, just based on random insights. However, once I
refined my prompt, now I was able to have
Chad GPT to order them, put them in order
based on preference, and what criteria did it use? Ranking travel destillations
could be subjectives, obviously, depends on
personal preferences, interests, and travel style. However, based on
general appeal, that includes weather activities and popularity during August, here's the sorted list. So based on general preferences from other tourists from
people across the world, Within the month of August,
Santorini ranks first, then got Barcelona, then you got Edinburg, Scotland,
Tokyo, Vancouver. Now the list has changed, where the least preferred option is Iceland and the
month of August, then you got South Africa, but the top of the
list is Santerin. Now, at this current stage, I did not add any preferences. I'm just simply picking up
the travel destinations, which are preferred for
the month of August. Now, imagine that you're
planning to do this by yourself. Digging for travel destinations, why are they preferred
and the reasons why are they preferred and trying to make a comparison, correct? Now, Ad GPT, once we do it in an
innovative and creative way, we're able to actually
save time and save effort. Now what I'm going to do is, I'm going to ask CA
GPT to incorporate some of my preferences to filter out the
proper destination, which meets my requirements. Now, I would like you to select the optimal destination
based on my interest. Now it's going to ask me, what are you interested in? I will give me suggestions, the activities, travel style, climate preferences,
cultural interests, travel companions, previous travels, to give you some better recommendations. I'm interested in let's
say phish based dishes, random examples, random
preferences to show you that it could be tailored to
meet your own expectations. Fish based dishes, I
enjoy outdoor activities, and the travel program
is for a family. And the style of travel should be light
and relaxed, for example. Random preferences, it's
up to you to add your own. This is simply what I could think of at the top of my mind, just from random insights
from random travelers, compile them together
to show you that it could actually cater to your
own requirements easily. Let's take a look
at this. So given your interests in
fish based dishes, outdoor activities, and relaxed travel style for small family. Here are a few destinations
from the list, tailored to your preferences. Now, it's changed the order
now to have Vancouver, Canada as the top,
then Barcelona and Spain as the second. Why it fits, Vancouver is renowned for its
excellent seafood, including fresh fish dishes. City offers a range of outdoor
activities such as hiking. The relaxed atmosphere and
family friendly activities, make it ideal for
small family trip, and I gave you the activities
that you could do. And the same thing applies. To all of the list now. Now, I'm fine tuning my list. My list has been
refined in which the top travel destinations for a certain month
have been selected. Then we've added the element of preferences in
terms of the style, in terms of the
food requirements and whatever it is
that you have in mind, you can just simply inject
it to refine the results. Then at this current stage, we are going to
make a selection, a random selection based
on our preferences. Then we are going
to proceed from this onward to actually
build our program. So for the sake of
demonstration purposes, let's say we select
Barcelona, Spain, based on the current
suggestions from Chad GPT, and we are going to
build our program from this point onwards,
targeting Barcelona Spain. And this will work for any country of
choice for any occasion.
5. The Prefect Travel Itinerary: This is where things
get interesting. We have mentioned that
we're going to be selecting Barcelona as our
travel destination. Now we are going to be building our itinerary and program. I have selected Barcelona
as the choice of travel. This is where you
include the duration of the travel in order for Chad GPT to build the
itinerary for you. I want you to create itinerary for a
period of seven days. So now I'm directing Chad GPT to develop a program for
a period of seven days. Now, at this current stage, this is quite broad. This is satisfactory because we're not going to
take it as it is, we're going to find
unit. I'll show you. Here we go. First of all, Chad GPT acknowledged the
itinerary for seven days. Keeping in mind, since
we are building on the previous chat
history with Chad GPT, it understands that I need sightseeing,
outdoor activities, and relaxation, including
fish based dishes from the previous communication. Keeping in mind that when you are building your itinerary, do not start a new chat. Built from the previous context in order for Chad GPT to give you a more refined approach that targets your expectations. So now, based on my
previous preferences, it gave me my program
for seven days. Day number one, arrival
and orientation. During the morning
time, arrive in Barcelona and Check
Inter Accommodation, afternoon, take a leisurely
walk along La amble, Barcelona's famous
Pedestrian Street, then in the evening, have der a local
tapas restaurant, then at day number two, Explore the Gothic
quarter and Elborn. Then you have the mornings, then you got the afternoons. Then you have the masterpieces, Gaus masterpieces at Day three, then Beach Day at Barceloneta, then you got Day five, Museums, day six, day trip, and day seven architecture
and shopping. So it gives you an
itinerary, right? For the period of seven days. Now, maybe some
things you like them, some things you don't like them. This is where we try to modify. Now let's take a look at
this important section from the output. The tips. Transport, consider purchasing
a Barcelona card or T ten tickets in order to
help you commute easily. And in terms of dining, you need to make reservations. It gives you tips as
part of the itinerary. Now I need to modify
the itinerary. Now I'm going to
tell it. I don't like some of the
suggested places, and I want restaurants which are seafood
based, as mentioned, as I enjoy fish based dishes, and I would like the program to include outdoor
activities and ssing. You go. So at this
current stage, I give it the feedback based on my evaluation of the program. And then I'm going to go
through it, keeping in mind. This would take you months of replanning if you're going to
do it manually by yourself, and we're able to do it
with a couple of minutes. So now it refined the order of the days and what's included
within those days, right? From day one all the
way to day seven, it's like a short vacation. We've added the requirements in order to develop the
itinerary, right? So let's assume that
this is satisfactory. I'm going to add some
extra preferences, include additional tour
options as a separate add on. Let's say I'm going
through the trip, and I would like to
have some options as I'm going through the trip, Maybe I would like
to add something, or would like to
modify something, and that will be reflected
within my itinerary. If you take a look at
this, it is giving me the description
of every single day, then it is giving me the
duration on the highlights. And then towards the end, is giving me all of the
preferred booking tips. And within the
description is giving you some additional
highlights for areas that that you might like
based on your preferences, for example, private tour, you got this option,
you got this option, you got this option,
you got this option. This tour offers personalit
insights. So it gives you The level of personalization that you would like to have
as part of your itinerary. Now, obviously, whenever
anyone travels, you base your itinerary on the feedback from other
travelers, right? So based on this case, I'm going to ask you to cross check the program and
make sure that it includes the famous highlights shared with other travellers. Such that we're not missing out on anything in the program, especially if you are a tourist. You're basing your itinerary on the feedback from
other tourists, and you would like to have the same experience
that they had. So we're trying to incorporate all of these elements into it. So now let's take
a look at this. Sure, let's cross
check the itinerary with the famous highlights and activities that are popular amongst travelers
visiting Barcelona. So it refined all of them. To include the key
highlights, the key elements. Now, instead of going
through every single one of them to find out where
is the key highlight, obviously, now,
here's a side note. It gave me the
additional 20 options, the add ons, and here
are the highlights. Just simply go towards the
end of the prompt output, you'll be able to see
the key highlights which have been checked as
part of the itinerary. That way, you have an option
for additional tours. Once you go over there,
you change your mind, then you go
confirmation that you got the key highlights placed
with the new itinerary. That way, you have a
full proof program, filled up with activities
that make sense and the arrange in a
systematic fashion. But we need to make
sure it's efficient, in terms of commute in
terms of logistics. So what I'm going to do now, make sure that the program is optimized for logistics
and travel time, such that minimal time is
wasted in transportation. Between sites. So by giving it this prompt, so it's going what's
going to do right now, it's going to sort the
options, the program, the itinerary in order to make
the most time in the city. So you're not going
to be wasting time commuting back and forth
between destinations. So as you go through it from
day one, day two, day three, that way you have
a f proof program which has been optimized, and it includes time
spent on commute, time spent on traveling,
approximately between places. That way, you have a clear
idea what to expect, what to have in mind as you
go from one place to another. So at this current stage, we have created our itinerary. We have find unit to
meet our preferences. We have adjusted it to be optimized and efficient in terms of the commute and
the logistics. So at this current
stage, let's say, let's assume that we are
happy with such an itinerary. And at this current stage, we are going to
proceed with booking our flights and with booking our residents
or accommodation, and we need to finalize our itinerary and
travel arrangements. So how would we go
about this through S GPT? This is coming up next.
6. Calculating the Full Travel Cost the Smart Way: Welcome back. So on
this current lesson, we are going to try to
combine everything, compile everything in a
way which makes sense. It's quite easy for us
to review and to check. But before we do so,
we need to calculate the total cost based on everything that we
have compiled so far. So I want you to calculate
the total cost of the full program using
all the above details, such that you cover the
flights accommodation, potential daily
expenses, and transport. So what I'm going to ask Cad
GPT right now is to actually calculate the total cost
of that full itinerary, that full program, including the
accommodation, the flights, the hotels, the daily expenses, potential transport expenses. All of them, I'm going to have Cad GPT compile them for me. Now, again, it gave them
in the form of a text, like a general layout, which requires you to go
through it manually one at a time to have a full picture. But I've taught
you a better way. Now, noting that, it gave you the full cost over here, right? But we have a better way. I want you to compile the information in
the form of a table, which is organized and clear. So this is the first stage. We are able to obtain the full breakdown of our
program and our itinerary, including flights,
accommodation, daily expenses, all of the above
information in which you have obtained through
Cha GPT, keeping in mind. That the information has been modified slightly since we
shifted from the interface, signing out, then
we signed back in, which in turn
affected the results. But if you are able to go to through the chat,
from the beginning, flowing through the
communication from A to Z, based on the lesson structures that I've taught you
in this current class, you will land at a very optimized itinerary
and complete program. So let's take a look at this. Here's the compiled table
of the full program, We got the flights, round
trip, Australia, to Barcelona, the source of the
tickets, the cost, accommodation, the
sources to book, the cost, the hotel names, daily expenses, transport,
and the total estimated cost. And then it gives you the breakdown summary
for the flights. We can just simply go to book, the accommodation
to book as well, and the daily expenses
and the transport. Now, do you think we're
done? Of course not. Like I mentioned, we
are going to be exiting this class with a
full on itinerary. Everything is compiled together. So at this stage,
we were able to obtain the full cost breakdown. The flights, the hotels,
the daily expenses. We're able to calculate
the costs based on all of the previous
inputs that we have added. In the previous lessons, we
have obtained the flights, we've obtained the hotels, we've obtained the itinerary and the programs and
the destinations. We've compiled our travel
destination details, flights, accommodation, tours,
transport, expenses, and then we calculated
the cost for all of this. But are we done? Of course not. For me, personally, I'd like
to see the full picture. Everything should be
compiled together. And this is what I'm going to teach you in the next lesson.
7. The Complete Travel Package from A to Z: Now, I do appreciate
the fact that I'm able to compile
everything together. This is what I look for
at the end of this class. I need to make sure that I have a full itinerary,
a full program, including every
single detail that I need to have a
successful travel trip. So what I'm going
to do right now, towards the end of this, I'm going to add the
following prompt. Here we go. I've
added it already, just to simply
save us some time. I want you to compile
the information in a form of a table
which is organized and clear and includes all the
details such as the flights. Cost program, duration,
commute time, and any necessary information to ensure a complete package. This is very important. Now, notice over here, This version of Chad GPT, you've reached our

I'm using a bit of an advanced version
for Chad GPT. If I click Send, I'm going to

include everything. Now, if you take a look at this, it gave me the flights, the details of the flights, and the links, the
accommodations, and the links. Co the cost, the arrivals, day one, day two, day three. Everything is compiled together. And then it gave me a
summary of the flight cost, total accommodation cost, and the total cost flights
plus accommodation. That way, you have a full idea. But in case you do not find it quite convenient in terms
of the visual aspect, I'm going to modify. Recreate the table,
reflecting the data as rows and columns
where necessary, including all the links for bookings and a clear
representation of the data as bullet
points and the program is clearly represented
on day by day basis. I'm walking you through the communication that I
would have with Chad GPT in order to make sure that it's actually getting
the results that we have in mind because
the output which I've gotten did not do the job
that I would like you to do. It's part of the
iterative process. I'm going to click,
send to recreate again, and still we get the limit, change the limit model, and let's take a look
at the results. Now we got better results. Now, I'm walking you
through this to see the process of doing it straightforward to
have a complete idea, and everything should be quite
easy for you to follow up. You got day one, day two, day three, you got

the flights, right. So now I got me a

in case you run into issues, you run into errors. How would you navigate them? That way, you got
a full on program. You got a full on approach, and you know how to deal
with this by yourself. Now, you got the flight
details. That's perfectly fine. Here we go. Excellent. We
got the flight details, and we got the booking
links, the book over here. We got the accommodation costs, and we got the booking links. Then we got day by day
itinerary and the hotels. Excellent, day number one,

links for the hotels. You have your full on itinerary for every single day by itself. And then you have the

you're staying at. And then you got the
total cost breakdown. And now you have fulfilled
complete requirements of crafting a full travel
package, whether for vacation, whether for business
from A to Z, using Chad GPT, where you're able to find the best
deals for the tickets, best hotels, and the bookings, create an itinerary, which is personalized,
calculate the costs, optimize the costs, and
tabulate everything in a single place in order for you to have a delightful flight.
