2. What is ChatGPT?: Let us talk about
what is Chad GPT. Chat TBT is a natural
language processing tool developed by a company
called Open AI. It uses machine
learning algorithm to generate text based
on the given input. Now what makes chat
GPT particularly impressive is its
ability to understand the context and generate coherent responses that sound like they were written
by some human. And what is NLP? Nlp stands for natural
language processing. A branch of artificial
intelligence and computer science that deals with the interaction between the computers and
human language. The goal of NLP is to enable
computers to understand, interpret, and generate
human language in order to perform
different tasks. Now, chat GPT has many applications for the
field of product management. The number one
application that we can talk about is market research. So you can use chat GPT to conduct competitive analysis,
identify your competitors. You can even identify market
trends and you can compare different features
of the competitors that exist over there. We can also use chat
GPT for copywriting. So you can leverage to RGB-D to create
engaging headlines, call-to-action tags, and
product description. You can even use chat GBT to generate a user flows and map out user journey
for your product. Email writing is
another application or use case or chat GBD, wherein you can use or take
the help of chai TBD to draft professional emails or your
customer communication, user interview request. And even for
feedback collection. You can even work with
Chad GBD to generate internal e-mails for your internal communication
within the company. Gpd can also be used
for designing a survey. So you as a product manager, might be looking for a survey. You might want to collect
some user feedback and data from your existing
customers or new customers. In that case, you can
take help of Chad GBD, to design a
well-structured Survey. John GBD is also useful
for launching products. So you can take help
of chat GPT to support product launches by
crafting launch strategies, press releases, social
media content, and so on. Now, there are benefits
of using chat GBD. And the number one benefit
is boosted creativity. So Chad GPD can act as your creative brainstorming
partner and it can contribute to like conceptualization of
new functionalities, new enhancements,
innovations and so on. It can help you with
effective communication. And it can do so by producing
some clear content. And it can help you draft communication for
different stakeholders, clients, and team members. Gpd can also help you optimize
the resource and time. You can reduce the time spent on the manual activities
like market research, copywriting, and you can do more focus work on strategic
planning and implementation. So that being said, Chad GPD isn't a replacement for human creativity
or expertise, but it's a tool for
product managers to supplement their own
skills and processes. It's also important
to keep in mind that the text or
whatever content that is generated by Chad GPT may not always be
perfect or on the point. And it is up to the product managers to
decide how to use it.
3. Getting Started: Hello and welcome. So we're going to
get into action and we are going to sign
up for chat GPD now. So here I am on Google
homepage and you need to go to this URL, chat.openai.com. And you need to hit
enter into your browser. So you might be prompted
for some verification here. So I'll verify that I'm a human. And then you will see a beach, which will prompt you for
logging in or sign up. So in order to use chat GPD, you need to create an
account with OpenAI. And OpenAI is the
company behind Chad TBD. So if you already
have an account, you can click on Login or
else you can hit Sign up. And it'll show you
the sign-up options. So here you can see that I
have continued with Google. You can continue with
your Microsoft account or you can simply sign
up with your email. You can choose the
option that you prefer and continue forward. So after you have finished
the onboarding process, like Dev will be
some information that this particular
website will ask from you, like your e-mail, mobile
number and so on. It will verify you. Then you will land
on the dashboard, which will show you
this disclaimer. So you can just click Next. And it talks about how
the data is collected. So you can read this
and you can say Next, and you can even
join their Discord. So if you want to stay in touch with them and share any
feedback and you can see done. So this is the homepage or
the main dashboard that I should see where you
can create a new chat. So you can see on the top left, you have an option to create
a new chat over here. You have an upgrade option, okay, So right now
we're on the free plan. Chat GBD works really
well on free as well. So there are no issues as such. Then you have some
examples where you as to what you can ask chat JEPD. So you can see how do I make an HTTP request in JavaScript. You can see God,
any creative ideas for ten year old birthday. Explain quantum computing
and simple terms and so on. It highlights the capabilities that you can read it for you. So it says, remembers what users said in
earlier conversation, allows user to provide
follow-ups and it's trained to decline
inappropriate requests. So you can just
get started by any of these examples over here. So I can say got any creative ideas for
10-year-olds per day. And you can see, I hit Enter and you
can see you get some messages already
been printed. So now what we're
doing now is we are interacting with chat GPD. So you have given an input and you are getting the
corresponding output. And you can even see
that there is a new chat created here on the left-hand
side which says tent. Both the party ideas. You can rename this to
whatever you wish to. You can see testing. And you can see, you can delete
this chat as well. Okay? So this is about
the chat interface. Now you have an option
to edit to you as well. So for some reason, if you think like this
is not a good answer, and you want to modify
the input that you gave. You can modify this
input over here by adding some more details and you can save and
submit outline briefly. So I can just see like outline
briefly and I can Save and Submit and it will regenerate
the entire response. Over here, you can see, since this was the
second variation that are generated
for a question, you can click on
this arrow and go back and see the previous
response as well. Who have an option to regenerate
the response as well. So I can click on regenerate, and this response is
entirely regenerated. You have this button over
here to stop generating, like if you want us to stop. And you can even
give feedback from here and here as well. So this is the
interface in general. You can keep talking
to it like what is the capital of Spain? I can say. It will give me the
response, like so. You can keep on
chatting and it'll give you the appropriate responses. So this is the interface
that we have and we have an option
to upgrade as well. So if you click on this, you will see that we are
on free plan currently. And these are the features
in the free plan. And you have an option to upgrade to try to
be D plus as well, which is at a certain cost. And there are some
features over here. So when we talk about chat GPT, there are different
models that exist. So you can say new chat. And this is Model 3.5, which is not the recent one. So since we are on free plan, we don't have access to
the most recent model. So you can upgrade and
get access the new model, which is much more intelligent and that model is called GPT for GBD four is nothing but a new model that has
been recently released, like in March 23. As I'm recording this video, there will be more
models which will be enhanced version
of the previous one. So what is improved
in the new model? The new model is much more
smarter than the previous one. Of course, it can give you more correct responses and it has a better
reasoning and so on. So if you want access to that
one, you need to upgrade. Otherwise, free version
also works well. The free version is GPT-3 0.5. As of now, I'm
recording the video. So you can make use
of that as well. And you can walk out and leverage the potential
of Jack GPD. Alright? You have a small little icon over here which
displays your name. And you can go and
change these settings, clear conversations, and go to the help and FAQs
and even lockout. So this is the interface
in general that we have for chat GPD.
4. Understanding Prompts: Let us talk about
prompts in chat GPD. What our prompts, prompts
are essentially the input that the user provides to chat GPD to get the
corresponding output. Now there are a few things that you should
know about prompts. The number one thing is memory. Jan GPD has a
short-term memory that allows it to store the information from
the previous prompts. It can even generate
the responses that are contextually relevant because
of this memory function. This allows Jack GPT to remember important details from the
previous prompts and take all of that into account
and generate responses that are
contextually relevant. Now let me give you an
example to demonstrate this. So for that, I'm going to
head over to our browser. I'm going to go to the
chat that we have created. And I'm going to say, what is the capital of France? And I'm going to press Enter. It says the capital
of France is Paris. And I'll say what
is its population? It says as of 2021, the population of Paris is estimated to be around
2.2 million people. So I didn't see that tells me
the population of berries, but I just say what
is its population? And it remembers the context
of the conversation. So it knows that I have just asked about the
capital of France. And I'm asking for the population of the capital
of France, which is Paris. And that is how it
generated the response which is contextually relevant. So this short-term
memory function allows chat GPT-2 generate more
accurate and relevant responses. One important point to note is this memory function is limited to a very
short-term memory. So it may not be
able to remember the information from the prompts that occur too far in the past. That is a restriction there. But it's pretty good when
you are interacting with it. Now let us talk about
the next thing, which is nothing but
the prompt length. So the length of the prompt
can affect the quality and relevance of the response that
is generated by chat GPD. Longer prompts can provide more context for Chai
attributed to work with and even give relevant responses to you
when you're working with it. Just make sure that you try
different wearable lens as prompts and then observe the output to get
something relevant. The next thing is
prompt freezing. Now this is also important when you are giving
prompts to chat GBD. The way the prompt
is phrased can also affect the responses
that is generated. E.g. if you use a question
format like this, what is the best way to write a product description may result in a different response than using this format like
writer product description, that is engaging and
highlights key features. So the first one is the question format and
other one is like a command. So the boat will generate
different responses. So prompt freezing
is also important when it comes to
working the chat GBD. Now, there are some tips
that I wish to share with you when you're working
with chat Djibouti. And for that we'll head
over to our browser. So when working with IGBT, it's really important
for you to be specific. And the more specific
your prompt is, the more likely chat GBD
is to generate a response that accurately reflects
your goals and objectives. So I can use a general prompt. I can say plan or vacation. This is very general
and you need to be more specific to get
a proper response. So here you can
see the responses like it does not have any
context to this response. So it's just giving
me the output. But let's say if I
give a better prompt, like if I say like, plan a beach vacation in Hawaii for family of four
with a budget of 5,000. Okay. So this is something
very specific. I'm mentioning over
here the location. So this is the tentative
location that I wish to go. You are also
mentioning the type of the vacation you want,
a beach vacation. And then you are telling it that there will be a group of
four and it's a family. And you're also specifying
the budget over here. Now if you give
this to chat GBD, it will give you a
sample itinerary. So you can see it's giving you the sample itinerary
for you to work with. We'll wait for like a minute or so or 30 s to generate
the entire response. It will keep on typing. And this will be longer one. So you can see it's giving
you the budget breakdown as well since you have specified
the project over here. So these are all
approximate values, are approximate figures. But it's a good starting point, like you can see,
it's pretty valuable. Like it says d1, d2, d3. And along with the budget. And here's a disclaimer as well. So it's pretty decent that way. So this is one
thing like you need to be specific with your prompt. So plan of beach
vacation in Hawaii. A family of four with a budget of like whatever
budget you have, this is a better prompt than just telling it like
plan a vacation. Okay. So this is one tip that
I would like to offer. The other one is use
descriptive language. So when providing prompts tried to use
descriptive language, it will help chart Jupiter to understand what
you're looking for. E.g. like, I'll just
add a sample prompt. We're based on our
previous example. So like so I can say planet tropical
beach vacation in Hawaii for a family of
four with two adults. And I have added, like
I've elaborated this. So a family of four has two
adults and two children. And I've also specified
the each age of 8.10 and the budget is same. Now, I've given charge GPD, additional details like
the vacation should include accommodation
with beachfront taxes. Okay. I need family-friendly
activities as well, like solving lessons and so on. And local dining options I need, which wherein I
need to have like seafood and Hawaiian cuisine. And the design of the vacation should be focused on
relaxation and adventure. And if you give
this as the input, the output that you get from IGBT will be like
in this context. And it will be far more
relevant and better for you. So you will have to wait
for thirty-seconds, like to get the entire
response over here. But it's worth. So you can see like D1, D2, like it has included
all the activities that you mentioned like so thin, it has included a scenic dive. Then you have the
breakdown here as well. Okay? So this is what you have
given basically as an input. So this is much more descriptive
than what I had earlier. Another thing is another
tip that I want to talk about is you should experiment
with different prompts. So e.g. you got this
response over here. With this problem. You might want to
rephrase this or add some more details
based on what output here. Of course, you will
have to rephrase and work on this a bit more to see what are the different
output that you get. This is like an experiment
with different inputs to see what works best for
your requirement. Under the point is
refined and iterate. So the text generated by chat GPT is like a starting point. And it's up to you as a
product manager to refine. And it read on the ideas that are given to you by this
particular software. So you can use your own
expertise, judgment, and refine and
improve the text by giving some modified prompt
or something like that. So e.g. here, let's say I got this as a response
for my vacation. So I can again copy this prompt and I can give it a new prompt. Width. More details like e.g. let's say if I don't want a
surfing lesson or if I want a particular activity
now to be included after looking at this response, or if I want a different kind of hotel or something like that. So I can just modify that. I can add the list
of activities. Moreover, you and I can
just give that prompt again and see what
it has to generate. This refinement. And iteration is a
process that you have to go through and
play around with. And playing around with will involve you tweaking
your prompts, giving it relevant
inputs and so on. So this is about
refining and it rating. Then you can even
use act as a freeze. So you can see act as a, and you can add, let's say, a profession or a specific
character or a style. And you can get the responses that align with
your desired tune, perspective, or context. So e.g. you can see act as a persuasive copywriter and give me like your requirements, whatever it is, so
something like that. So Chad GPD has this ability of acting as a character
professional style, or it can give you or your output in your
desired tune and so on. Alright, these are some of
the tapes that I had to share on the prompts. And overall charge GPT. A key to using giant GPT is like working with prompts
effectively to provide a clear, specific and desired inputs that accurately reflects your
goals and objectives. You should be willing
to refine and iterate on the responses
generated by chat GPD. And this can become a
really powerful tool for you as a product manager
who generate new ideas, streamline workflow, and improve the quality of your entire
process and the work. This is about the
prompts in chat GPD.
5. Conducting Market Research: So let us talk about
how can you use chat GPD for conducting
market research. So as a product manager, let's assume that you're working at a ride booking company. So it's an app that allows users to book writes
from the smartphone. And you're working
on scheduling or write V2 for the
ride-sharing app. Now conducting
market research is essential so that you
could understand like, what's the competitive
landscape, user needs and what are the
different opportunities that are available in the market
for you to tackle right now. Let us jump into chat GPD, and let us see how we would be conducting market research. So to conduct market
research using chat GPT, there will be four things that we will have to go through. So we will have to first identify our
research objectives. Then we would be crafting
targeted prompts. Then we need to
iterate and improve. And lastly, we can
refine the prompts for better results
and tweak them. So let us talk about identifying
research objectives. So before diving into chat GPT, you need to outline your research objectives
for your ride-sharing app. Now for the scheduling
the right feature, your objective might include understanding
competitor offering. Now, this might
include identifying all the competitors and going through what all they
offer currently. You can also have identifying
user pain points as one of your objectives and also
understanding industry trends. So this could be some
of the objectives that you might think about for
scheduling right feature. So this was about identifying
research objectives. Then you might go about
crafting targeted prompts. So let's head over to chat GPT and see how you can
work on prompts. So here I am on the dashboard. Now over here, I need to create the prompts that align with
my research objectives. So what I can do is I
can use act as freeze to work with chat GPD and tell it to provide me some
of the output. Okay, I'll create a
new chat over here. And I'll tell chat GPT to act as an industry
expert over here. So you can see, act as
an industry expert and provide an overview of Top
five ride-sharing apps. And I also need that key
features for scheduling rights. Alright, I'll give
this as an input. So we know you can use act as freeze to tell chat GPD
to act as something. So here you can
see it has started providing me some of
the inputs like Uber, Lyft, Didi, and it's telling you all the details that
you had requested for. So it's telling about tubal
that users can schedule the rights to the app by selecting the
schedule right option. And you can choose the date and time that
they want to be backed up. And this is also one important information like
it allows you to schedule, right, 30 days in advance. Left allows you to do
seven days in advance. Now some other app
allows you to do '70s and so on or
last seven days. Everything is seven
days except Uber, which is 30 days in advance. You also get fair
estimates with this app, real-time tracking and
ability to read the tribals. So this is how you
get some information. Now, let's say if I want to understand the common
pain points that uses face when scheduling rides on the existing
ride-sharing platform. So that way, if we know the pain points of
the other apps, we could solve them in our app and create a
strong value proposition. I could say, list common
pain points users face when scheduling rides on existing
ride-sharing platforms. And you can see chat
GBT in action here. So the number one
pain point would be limited availability,
unreliable, estimated arrival
times, surge pricing, safety concerns, payment issues. So there are payment issues as well like declined
credit cards, inaccurate failure stages,
charges and so on, and inconsistent
service quality. So you can take all
of this as input and you can like work on them. You can also go
through the trends. You can tell charge GPT-2
describe emerging trends in the ride-sharing industry
related to write scheduling. And you can see
some of the trends. So advanced booking option. So you can book in advanced
predictive AI algorithm, integrated multimodal
transport tradition, real-time traffic and route optimization, improved
safety measures. So these are some of the trends that you can make note off. So this is about like
how can you like craft initial prompts to get some information
from chat GPD. So once we have crafted
the initial prompts, you can then iterate
and improve. Alright, so for iterating, you can follow up with more targeted questions to dive in deeper into
specific areas. E.g. like, I can paste in this question and
I can see how have recent advancements
in AI impacted the ride-sharing industry and particularly in
right scheduling. So you will see giant GBD
telling you around this. And you can wait while it
generates the entire answer. So you can see like one is
predictive demand forecasting. Real-time route optimization. Algorithms can analyze a
real-time traffic data and suggest the most efficient
route for drivers to take. Personalized user recommendations,
safety monitoring, chatbots for support and so on. So these are some of the
advancements with respect to AI that have impacted the ride-sharing industry, particularly, right scheduling. You can even see like you can have different
prompt like what are the differences between
rights scheduling options for regular users
and business users? So let's say we have two
kinds of users on the app. And you might want
to have, like, you're just evaluating
whether the experience for both should be different
or it should be same, then you could have tried to get some of the
information there. So you can have like
payment options. So you can see like business users may have
different payment options. E.g. they might have a corporate credit card or a billing account with the
ride-sharing platform. So this is something
that you might take into consideration if you have
a significant portion of your users as the business
uses advanced booking, customizations, management
and reporting tools. This is a good one. You could have, like reporting tools created for
business users, allowing them to Right usage, manage billing expenses and so on, like monitor compliance. So these are all
business-related features, a dedicated customer support. So yeah, you can like
then it read so based on the initial input that
you get from Chad GPT, you can iterate on
these does information. You can pick up a point
and you can ask Jack GBT to elaborate that point and so on and you can gain
more information. Okay? So this is about
iterating and improving. Then you can refine the
prompts for better results. Now, if these results
are not satisfactory, then you can refine your
prompts to be more specific. And you can some different
kinds of questions. So e.g. here, like
if I scroll up, you can see like the top two
apps are Uber and Lyft here. So I can ask Jack GPT to compare the ride-sharing
features of Uber and Lyft in terms of
user experience, available options,
and ease to use. Your am telling charity
beauty specifically, that for these two apps, I need like the difference
in terms of user experience, the options available,
and the ease of use. Okay, So I'm creating really
specific prompts here. You will see Chat GPT, like explaining me
everything that I have asked for will wait while it
generates the response. But you can see like the
number one differences here. You get 30 days in advance. You can only do seven
days in advance. And does the experience
pickup, location, drop-off, any type of right. They want. Okay. You also get reminders. Available option is these are the available option and lift. These are the available options. In terms of ease of use. This is the difference
over here, okay? Now, you can even like ***
chair deputy to act as a user. So act as a user and explain the difficulties that your feast or experienced when scheduling arrived on the ride-sharing app. So this is something
that you might do to understand the problems
from the user perspective. So limited scheduling options, technical issues, inconsistent
pricing, and so on. So this way you can even refine the prompts for better results. So you can see we have a
lot of information now in front of us about the
right scheduling feature. And you can use this
information to dive in further. So tangibility can be a
powerful tool over here. To conduct market research. You can gain valuable insights into competitive landscape, user needs, industry
trends, and so on. You can use this
information to get or to make the informed
decision at your end, okay, and to improve the ride scheduling feature
that you are building. Now, few things that you
need to keep in mind is you need to be
clear, specific, and iterative with
your prompts to obtain the information
that you need. Alright.
6. Product Copywriting: Let us talk about how
can you make use of chat GPT to do copywriting
for your product? So Chad TBT can be a powerful tool when it
comes to copywriting. And it can generate responses based on natural
language prompts. And it can provide you suggestions for copy
based on like the tone, the style, and different phrases that you include in the prompts. So let me show you
what I actually mean. Product manager can use chat
GPD for generating content, like for different occasions. Okay, and let me give
you some examples. So let us say you are working as a product manager on a ride-sharing app
and you are tasked with creating a new
feature wherein you would be allowing users to
scheduled right in at once. Now, you are looking
to make this feature user-friendly and you
need to create some copy. Let's say you wish to create
some copy for notifications, error messages,
success messages, and even landing page. So you need some help with copywriting and go achieve this, you decide to make
use of chat GPT. So let us talk about
notifications fullest. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to write in a
prompt over here. So here in the chat interface, I'll paste in a prompt. So I'll just zoom in a bit
so that it's a bit clear. So I'm asking Jack GBD to act as a writer for a ride-sharing app. So I'm giving you the
context that you are now a UX writer at
this particular app. And you need to provide me three variations of
push notifications. So I need three variations. I'm mentioning the
counterweight here. And the purpose of this
notification is to remind users about the
upcoming scheduled rights. Okay? So this is a notification
that it's going to be. And I can like send this prompt and we can
see the output away here. It's sending me
three variations. We're okay, So this
is one reminder. It says Hey, username, just a friendly reminder that your scheduled right
is coming up in. Like this is something
that we need to fill in and we will be there
to pick you up on time. This is a customizable reminder and this is a special
offer reminder. Okay. So scheduled ride is on the
way and as a thank-you, like we're offering you X percentage of so this
is something that you can use to drive in some revenue or to push it in
and upgraded or something. Okay? So this is something that
chart GPT has given us, okay? Now, you can even use chat GPT, Let's say directly got the
copy for push notifications. But when it comes to push
notifications on mobile, like on Android or iOS, you have different
formats, okay? And if you, as a product
manager are not aware, you can simply ask chat JEPD so you can get
a prompt there. You can see what
are the format for Android and iOS
push notifications. So I can just press Enter and it will
give you the format. It will tell you that
there is an icon. Icon is one of the
components when it comes to push notifications,
that is title. There is a message, timestamp and the
action buttons. So you can even have the action buttons
which can drive action, like open the app or reply. This is what Android. And on iOS you have
this format here. If you want the copy to be written in the format
of Android or iOS, you can see is you can like get the prompt that
you added over here. So I'll just copy
this prompt here. Okay. I'll paste it here. And I can add it this week. I'm just telling you IGBT
that gives me the result in the above format
and above format is this format that charging
party has suggested us. So I need the answer
to this prong in the above format that includes all the elements for me to use on Android and iOS platforms. So this is one brand that
I'm giving charge GBD. And you can see simple
reminder for Android, like you have the icon, I can can be your app icon. Okay. Then you have the title, like the right reminder. Your scheduled right is upcoming and we'll be there
to pick you up. Time can be time and action buttons are not
needed here in this case. So you can see like this is another customizable
reminder and you have some action
buttons here, like three variations
of action buttons. Okay? Same for special offer, like open the app, okay? And you can see it's still
generating this way, like you got the
copy that it had suggested into the format that you need for
Android and iOS. So this is something
that you got it done. You can even make use of
tones for notifications. Okay? So tones can be like
urgent, friendly, informative, concise,
and helpful. So these are some examples of like tones that you can
ask Chad GP to be in. Okay? So what I can do is I
will just copy this. So I'll just copy
this old prompt of us and we will modify this. I'll say provide
three variations off. I'll add a tone. We're so I'll say
attention-grabbing. Attention grabbing
push notifications. This is something that
added attention grabbing push notifications for reminding users about their upcoming
scheduled rights. I'll even tell GPT to please
use attractive emojis. Emojis are really good thing in notifications in
the content copy. So I want the usage of emojis. So I'll just say Endo. We go down and it will
start generating. And you can see over here, here, there you are, right
as on the way, it's giving you one
more variations. I saying urgent reminder,
exciting reminder. You can see this is really good. Like Agenda reminder, attention rider, You're
right, is almost here. Hurry up and get ready
to go. It's almost time. Get ready to blast off. So you can see emojis
have also been added. This is really good, like the
output that you're getting. It's really good. Now you can even refine this. So you have got some response
from RGBD and we can refine this to like
based on our product, branding, tone or
target audience. Okay, so I can read the prompt
to get the desired copy by providing more context or specifying the
tone that I want, such as friendly,
professional, or playful. Okay, So let us say I want
some success messages, okay? So I'll just add a
comment over here. This is one of the
prompts that I can use. I can say as a UX writer, act as a UX writer for
ride-sharing app and come up with three different friendly
success messages. I'm stressing on friendly. So I'm saying friendly success
messages that reassure young professionals
that the right has been successfully scheduled. So if our target audience
or the people we're going to use this feature are
young professionals. We can specify that we use
the chat GBD knows that this messages going
to be targeted or being seen by the
young audience. And you can even specify
like the brand tone. So I want our brand or our
app to become out as Morton. Okay, So I'm saying reassure young professionals
that the rider has been successfully scheduled on
our modern ride-sharing app. I'm telling charge GPT that I want ride sharing app to
be projected as Morton. And I want this in the
format for Android and iOS. Also, please make
use of emojis in notification copy to grab
the user's attention. This is fairly good. Okay, So this last one, it did not share these notifications in the
Android and iOS format, okay? Because we didn't
mention it the way you, so you can edit this from you. Again, press the
edit icon and you can tell chart GPT, like, please share this in format
for Android, iOS like so. I can save and submit. So we'll update that copy
in that particular format. Now you can see it's generating, it will wait for awhile while
the generation continues. And you can see it's
making use of good emojis. Emojis are really good. Okay, So see there's fire
icon that's being used. Reminder, the clock
icon is being used. So you can really do some
good brainstorming here with the notifications
that or copy, any copy that you
are working on. I'll be showing
you more examples. So degeneration for the
notifications is done over here, like the revised copy. Now let's push this
prompt over here, wherein we have added Like
objectives or lighter tone. As friendly, we have specified the target audience like
they're young professionals. And we have also
specified that we want to come out as a
modern ride-sharing apps. If I just give this as a prompt, you will see the copy being generated in that
particular direction. So you can see chat GBD is done generating the copy for
our success messages. And you can see
here are the three friendly success messages that reassure young professionals
at the right has been scheduled. And you can see. Howdy messages are pretty good. Like sit back, relax
and enjoy the ride. And you have this message with you right now
it's been confirmed. So you can choose the
notification that you need. And you can work for
the width, this one. Let us see one more
example of error messages. Okay? So I'm going to try and
generate error messages. So I'm going to see act as a UX writer for a
ride-sharing app and suggest three clear helpful
error messages for users. And this is going to start generating the helpful
error messages. Now, I can even enhance this prompt over here and I
can add a bit more details. So right now it's generating in the format of Android and iOS. But I can tell three clear
helpful messages for users encountering issues while scheduling derived in advance. So this time, I'm specifying
this and I'm also asking you to make
use of the emojis. You can see electronegativity
has already understood that I like emojis. And it's already
like adding emojis into the notification
copies over here without me specifying we're right now if you see I have
not mentioned in this prompt that
gives me with emojis, but it does already given. You can see each
message includes appropriate emoji to
catch user's attention, so it has got a taste. But if I also give this prompt, if by chance it does not
give you this emojis, then you can give this
prompt and you can get the messages being generated
with emojis as well. So it is giving me
different emojis now. I can even make usage of
tone and the brand voice. So I can see friendly tone,
reassure young professionals. And I've also specified in
modern ride-sharing app. So we are a modern
ride-sharing app is what I want you to know. So you can make use of this
prompt as well to generate a slight variation in the notification copy that
chat GBD is generating. So with multiple versions being generated with
different problems, you really have a good
brainstorming done with giant GPD. And then you can pick up
the one that you love. And you can go ahead. And you can see like here, oops, we have trouble
scheduling your right. Please check your
internet connection. Something went wrong. Please try selecting a different time. You can see, like you can again, give this prompt to charge you. You can even use this
particular tool, giant GPT to generate
the landing page copy. So let's say you are
done with notifications or your finalized you have
picked your notification. You had a lot of
notifications here, okay. What you need to do
is as a next step, you can pick up the
notifications that you like and use that as
a starting point. You can tweet them if you want or you can
use them as it is. Okay. You have lots of options now, if you scroll up
and you can even generate more, so
it's up to you. But let's talk
about landing page. So here I have
pasted or prompt for landing page so I can see act as a persuasive copywriters. So you're, I'm telling chat GPT to act as opposed
to this if copywriter. Now this is literally
an objective that I have added, okay? And it is going in a
particular format. Okay, So let me paste
the format as well. So I'll add the format here. This is a format. Act as a copywriter and
generate what, For, what? For what do you want
and what do you want to generate and for what, why and for whom. This is a format. Like it need not be
exact this tiling, but you make sure
you add what, why, and whom along with
the objective, anywhere in the prompt. Just remove this. But this is what we
are using right now. And if we like, give this as an
input, you will see, I guess generating the copy for our landing page
that we can use. So you can see the copy being
generated is pretty neat. So you can see no more waiting
around or fanatically, like trying to hail a ride
on a busy street corner. Schedule your ride
for anytime NAD. And it has also
added some features sort of thing like
what can you expect? Now you're going to modify
this prompt and you can include the
tone and targeting. I'm saying create an engaging, informative copy with
a friendly tone, which is targeting
young professionals. And you should highlight the new scheduled rights feature. If you give this as an input, the output that you will get
will be a good variation, like tired of stress, stressing about getting to work. So since we said,
young professionals. It's like talking
about getting to work or that important
meeting on time. And based on that, it has generated all the
features and everything. You can see. You can even ask Chad GPT to add like CTAs and also I
can update the prompt. I can say act as
opposed to receive copywriter who give me
the landing page copy targeting young
professionals and suggest three attention grabbing
call to action freezes. Along with this
old prompt of us. I've added this new thing. Absurd suggests three, attention-grabbing call
to action freezes. A button on the
landing page asking users to start
using this feature. If I give this as an input, you will get the output. So once you receive
the response from GBT, you can motive can do is you can review all the suggestions
that you have, the different variations
and define them. So you can tweak
this prompt photo. You can tweak the tone for target audience
product branding. You can read on this to
get the desired copy, which is providing you more
context and making you happy. If you're satisfied with
that, then you can go ahead. Okay. So charitably generated
this response, but it didn't generate the
entire landing page copy. It gave me the CTAs instead. It said, say goodbye to
transportation stress. The stress is a good. Okay. You can like, shorten them. Call-to-action buttons and I can just modify the strong kinda can see call-to-action for buttons, for the pattern on
a landing page. And it will give me the same. So it's giving me freezes again. So I don't want phrases. So delta antibody that
modify the above freezes to schedule, arrive on time, right? On schedule. Normal stress. These are the CD is that it is suggesting
these water freezes. So you can pick some ideas
and you can tweak the prompts as you can see and you
can make it work, okay? If you need, you can ask, charge you PTs for
additional suggestions, variations, and get the most
suitable copy for your app. This process will create effective and
engaging in AP copy, making the user experience
much more better for you. And we will also enhance your workflow as a
product manager. Alright, so that's
about how can you use charged CPD for copywriting?
7. Generating User Flows: Let us talk about
how can you use chat GPD to generate user flows. So we will be focusing on scheduling the right
feature, like as usual. And we will assume
that we are working at a company that has
a ride-sharing app. And scheduling or ride feature is the one that you're
working as a product manager. And we will walk
through as to how you can create prompts
that are effective. And we can refine them, tweak them to get
the desired results, to get our user flow in place. So when you talk
about user flow, here is a series of steps that
you will be going through. The number one step
would be for you to define your goals
and requirements. And then you craft
an initial prompt. Then you refine it. Then you review and
tweak the responses, and then you iterate
and finalize. This is a series of steps
that you will usually go to. Let's talk about defining
your goals and requirements. So as a product manager, let's say we are working on
scheduling right feature. The primary goal over here
is to create a seamless and intuitive user
experience that will allow users to use this
particular feature efficiently. And to achieve this, you need to start defining
your target audience first. You need to identify
the demographics, the characteristics of
your target audience. And for the ride-sharing app, the target audience may include busy urban commuters or people who travel and people who frequently use these
transportation services. You also need to
understand user needs. So understanding user
needs and pinpoint of your target audience
is critical for you. And in our example,
or in our case, users may want to schedule
right in advance, like e.g. save time. To avoid last-minute hassles, we ensure punctuality and so on. Okay, So this will be the
user needs in our case, you need to understand the desired outcome as well
and you need to define it. So for our example, the objective would
be to allow users to quickly and easily
scheduled ride in advance. And this will be with
the clear information about pick-up and
drop-off locations. So when our users
could use a ride, it needs to go through
the entire process quickly and easily. And there has to be clear
information about pick-up, drop-off, time and fat as well. Let us talk about the next step, which is creating
the initial prompts. And for that, I'll
hop over to chat GPT. So here we will start
defining the initial prompt. Okay, so here's the
initial prompts. I'll say act as a product manager and outline a user flow
for ride-sharing app, focusing on the process of
scheduling or ride in advance. So I'm asking for a simple
flow for this feature. And chat GBD is inaction. You can see like open the app, there will be a scheduled
but in somewhere, you select the date and
time for your ride, pickup location,
the destination, you choose the
type of the right. So there is a possibility that your app may have different kinds of rights
that are available. You can specify, that, specify the passenger details, reveal the right details, confirm the booking
and you will get a confirmation message with the right details and the driver inflammation
as well as reminder, this is also important. This is one version of output
with the initial prompts. So how would you refine this? So you can refine this problem
by adding more context. So here I have asked GPT-2
give a detail user flow or modern ride-sharing
app focusing on the process for busy
urban commuters. So I'm mentioning the
target audience here. And you will get the
relevant response as well. So you can see the
user flow here. This is very detailed and
better than the last one. Okay, we've done a little
bit of refinement over here. Okay? We can review this and
we can tweak the responses. So the next step in the
process is to tweak, review and tweak the responses. So what you can do is you can, as a product manager, you may want to ask more details and requests suggestions
for specific steps. Here are different steps
that has been suggested. Let's say your user is selecting date and time at one
particular step. So what I can do is I
can tell charge GPT to like focus on making date and time selection more
user-friendly and efficient. Just give that as an input. I don't want users to like struggle making
date and time selection. So here it is, giving some suggestions to
improve that as well. So I can implement
this particular part. I can review these
suggestions and get some ideas as to how
I can improve there. Okay? So you can see the
suggestions are really good. Use, easy to use
calendar interface. E.g. you can use natural language problems
like tomorrow ETM, with instead of having to
scroll through a calendar. You can auto suggests the best pickup time
based on users previous write history and
traffic patterns in the area does is
much more better. Okay? So this is one we went through
creating initial prompts. You'll be refined them. We reviewed and
tweak the responses. And then you can
iterate and finalize. The last step is to
iterate on the soil. You have got a lot of outputs, a lot of inputs from chart GPT. You can play around, you can define the prompts and you can iterate and finalize on
whatever is needed for you. Okay? So this way, you can
make use of chat GPT to generate user flows, get a lot of ideas, refine them, and get the
best for your product.
8. Email Writing: Let us talk about
email writing now. So you as a product manager, will have communication as the important part of
your day-to-day job. So effective communication
is essential, and writing emails is a significant part
of your daily work. As a Product Manager. You can leverage and GPT
to craft professional, well-structured email, saving time and ensuring
clear communication. So let's say you're
working on a scheduling or right feature and you wish
to conduct user interviews. And when you want to understand the customer's pain point. And you are looking to leverage chat GPD to help you draft personalized and engaging emails to request user interviews. So the first step would
be you will start with an initial prompt and you will provide a clear
and specific prompt, including the purpose of
e-mail and the recipients. So here's a prompt
that I'll use. You can say act as
a product manager, writing an email to user, requesting a user interview for a ride scheduling feature. And I'll hit Enter. Now, Chan GBD is
giving me a response. So this is our general response. Based on the prompt
that we have given. We can go to this and we can refine the prompt for the, okay. You can even refine the
tone and the brand voice. So I can say act as
a product manager, writing a friendly and
professional e-mail. So this was the older prompt. Writing an email, your
added friendly and professional requesting
user interview. Now if you see this will
be much more friendly. I hope this e-mail
finds you well, my name is justice. Okay. And you can
see this is fairly different from the other one. So the output is good. You can make use of
these templates. And if you have
your own template, let's say like I have this
template that I want to use. You can use this template
and you can give this template as an
input to chat GPP. And what Chad Jeopardy will
do is it will generate the output in this
particular format. So you can tell chat GPT
while giving the input that I want all this information
to be put in this way. So let me show you an
example for the same. I can paste this
prompt the way here. I can say using the
provided template, write an email requesting a user interview for
right scheduling feature. And here's the template. So here the subject, be a USO, the opening bata. You need to explain the
purpose of the email. Details about the interview, explanation of any
incentives or rewards, and call to action
and your name. So if I give this as an input, you will get the output in
this particular format. You can see it's pretty good. And with this, once you have the result
in this particular format, you can see it's coming
out really well. You can request GPD to rewrite certain
parts of the email. Okay. So let us say, I want to rephrase or emphasize like I want to
rephrase the opening paragraph. So this opening paragraph, this one over here, okay. Which is just one,
the opening one. And I want to stress
on the importance of user feedback for improving
the right scheduling feature. So I can tell chat
GPD to rewrite the opening paragraph with
this prompt to email, to emphasize the importance of user feedback for improving
the right scheduling feature. You will see that
being rewritten. So you can see rewrites that
particular part and you can pick this apart
and use it in your e-mail instead of this one. So this is how you can use
chat GPT to generate emails. Now, when it comes
to external emails, you can make use of chat GPT to get the user
interview we males. You're going to get
charged to B20 to seek feedback on a new
feature launch. You can use chat
attributed to generate email announcements that are announcing improvements
in the feature. You can even use chat GPT to
work with internal e-mails. So you can generate
emails through development team about an upcoming feature
planning meeting. If you have a particular
template or internal format, you can give that as
an input to chat GPT. You can get a reminder
e-mail to design team about submitting mock-ups for
a new feature or an app. You can definitely do that. So this way, Chad CBT is really helpful in
email writing as well. And it can help you
save a lot of time, get lots of ideas to the table, help you brainstorm and be
more effective at work.
9. Designing Surveys: So as a product manager, collecting user feedback is a really important
step and it's very important in decision-making
and product improvement. Now for collecting a
valuable user feedback, surveys are a very
powerful tool. Using surveys, you
can gather user input and chat GPT can help you
design effective surveys. So let us take a
look at an example. Okay, so to begin
with the survey, you need to first define your survey goals
and objectives. Once you've goals and
objectives defined, you can clearly communicate
these to chat GPT to generate questions that
align with your intentions. Let us see, I have
this prompt here. Act as a product manager. Suggests, questions
for a survey aimed at understanding user
satisfaction with the right scheduling
feature of the app. So this is the Soviet Gould. The Soviet goal is like, I want to understand
the user satisfaction. So this is the goal and the objective of this
particular survey. And if I give this as a prompt, I will absolutely get an input. And you can see
these are some of the questions that it is
suggesting over here. There are ten questions that we got as an input
from chat GPT. Now let us take a
look at some of the example objectives
that you can make use of. One objective can be like to understand user satisfaction
better feature, and identify areas
for improvement. You could define an objective
where in you might want to assess the ease of use and user
friendliness of a feature. You could have an objective
to determine the usefulness and practicality of the feature in addressing users needs. E.g. and your objective
could also be to collect feedback on any issues
or challenges that users have feast in
using the feature. Or you might want to
evaluate the impact of feature on users
overall experience with the product or service. So these are some of
the example objectives that I wanted to showcase. Wherein which you can make use of in order to work
with chat GBD. Now let us update
this particular prompt and let us
try and refine this. I'll update this
particular prompt for ease of use and
user friendliness. So I'll say aimed at
understanding, ease off. So I'll just remove this. I'll say ease of use and user friendliness with the right scheduling
feature in our app. And you can see the
responses for this, okay? It's giving you the responses to understand how user-friendly it was for users to use this right scheduling
feature in our app. So it's asking all
the questions, like how easy it was to find the right
scheduling feature, how easy it was to
understand this feature, how intuitive it was and so on. Now, with this, now you have worked with
objectives over here. You can even refine this. So let's say I will copy this
first problem that I have. And I will define the question types over
here so I can use, or I can modify this prompt to specify the question types. So I can see act as
a product manager and I can say create five
multiple choice questions. So I can say create five
multiple choice questions for Soviet aimed at gauging like user satisfaction with derived scheduling
feature in our app. So you're, let's
say if I want to have multiple choice questions, like I just need to have five of them so I can like
modify this prompt. And you will see
the output flow. You can see it is making use of multiple choice questions
and it is giving five options where he
satisfied someone satisfied, neutral, somewhat dissatisfied
and very dissatisfied. And there are five questions. You can see over here. You can even refine
these questions for clarity and
conciseness, okay, e.g. like, you can rewrite
a particular question. So I can see like rewrite the following question to make it more concise
and clear. Okay? So I can ask Jack GPD to make a particular question
more concise and clear. So I can say e.g. let's say this one. So I can like so. And it will read out this
particular question for me. Okay? Okay, so the output, it does not match
the expectation. So you can edit and
suggest what it's telling. What questions would you
suggest for a survey to understand user satisfaction
with the apps, right? Scheduling feature? So it's asking me a question. I don't know why. But you can say
make it more clear. Can you make this more clear? And you can save and submit. So you can see it's
giving the suggestion, but you can try out with
different questions over here, the point I'm highlighting is
if something is not clear, you can send that as an
input and ask it to rewrite. You can even organize the
survey flow and structure. Okay? So what I can do is I can give chat GBD this
particular prompt. And I can tell charge EBT, like act as a product manager and suggests the
optimal order for the following survey questions related to the right
scheduling feature. So not for the falling, but for the above
survey questions. So it will suggest, Here's the optimal suggestion
over your optimal order. And you can see like this is the order that
it's suggesting, like frequency of the use of the question can help you
categorize the respondents. So it's also giving
you y like white suggesting you this as
the number one question. Because asking this as
number one question, it can help you categorize
the respondents and get an idea of how often
people use this feature. And then you have a
more general question. And then you have the
accuracy and so on. So it's giving you the
reasoning as well. It's not just, it has just
randomly, like reshuffled. Now, you can also test and
improve the questions. Like if there is any question
that you want to rephrase. So I can say Can
you please rephrase this particular question for me or provide an alternative? Like I don't like this question. It has retries, this
particular question, okay? So you can work on this. You can tweak your
problems and you have like a survey designed for your customers within
a fraction of time. Okay? So this is really, really
helpful tool guys, and it can help you accelerate your product
management tasks and workflow really, really well.
10. Product Launches: So product managers
are really important and they play a
very crucial role in launching new features. So the success of the
launch can significantly impact the adoption and the growth of a
particular product. And changeability can be important in helping you
with the feature launch. So when you are doing
a product launch, like there will
be various phases that you will go through it. Like you might plan
the launch strategy, you might craft a launch
messaging or a copy. You might be working on
generating marketing materials, are preparing for the potential challenges that might come up. We might want to refine
and iterate on the launch. You might want to analyze the feedback around
the launch and so on. So let us talk about
the launch strategy. So you can make use of chat GPT to help you with the
launch strategy. So you can see as a
product manager suggests, three unique ideas for promoting the new right scheduling feature
in our ride-sharing app. So let's say you are working
as a product manager at a ride-sharing app and you are launching a new right
scheduling feature. So this is a case study here. And how would you launch it? So let's say you are
looking for ideas and you ask Chad GPD for the same. Igbt will come back and it
will give you some idea. So it will tell you
the first idea, as you can see here, is social
media influencer campaign. You can partner with
such influences, ask them to create the boost. And you can offer influences
like discount codes, which could incentivize people
to try out new features. So this is one suggestion. You have in-app
pop-up notification. So you have already
users who are using this particular app and you
are launching a new feature. You could have a
notification that could go to all the
users that hey, try scheduling or right feature. Now, you can have referral program where
you could give out discount on the next slide when people could refer
their friends and so on. So you could use chat GPD to
get such ideas over here. Now, when you have selected
a particular idea, you can then work on the
launch messaging and copy. You can ask, in fact
chat GPT to do so. Here I'm using the
act as a freeze, act as a product manager. When an M asking Chad GBD to act as a product
manager and create a concise attention
grabbing announcement for the ride-sharing apps, new rights scheduling feature. And I can press Enter. And you can get an attention grabbing
announcement over here. Okay? So you can see this
is the announcement. Now. You can work on this
and you can tweak this, these prompts and you can
get the desired results. Okay, So you can
tell like I want a long announcement or I want a 500 word
announcement and so on. And chat Jeopardy will
give you that you can even generate the
marketing materials. So let's say you want to generate like marketing
content such as blog post, press releases, social
media posts, and so on. Let's take an example
of blog post. So you can ask Chad GPT to act as a product
manager and write a blog post explaining the benefits of the new
right scheduling feature. And you will also
want to mention that how this particular feature
sets our app apart. And you will see Jagged
deputy come back to you with the desired blog post. So you will see like this is
the title of the blog post. And then it starts
with the blog post. Will wait while it generates. So you can see the
entire blog post is generated and you have some
benefits mentioned here. And the launch messaging. It's a decent blog post. You can work more
on this and you can consider this as
a starting point. And you can define a treat. You can add your own
content as well, and you can have a really
good blog post at the end. So when doing launches, you will have some challenges
and you might want to be prepared for those
challenges well in advance. So you can ask Chad GBT, to give you a list of three possible
challenges that we might face as a company during the launch of
scheduling feature. You can also ask for possible or potential
solutions and charge a beauty will give you the potential challenges you
can see like user awareness. So whenever you
launch a new product, user awareness is one of the challenges that usually
product managers face. And users may not be aware
of this new feature, how it works benefits and this may lead to
low adoption rates. So how could you be prepared
to solve this challenge? You can have a comprehensive
marketing plan. Social media, email newsletters, email newsletter and in-app
notifications and so on. And you can make
sure you benefit, you highlight the benefit. So on. This could be
something that you can, you could like be prepared for before they launch
only technical issues. So this is one good one. So there could be bug fixes
and you can have a QA team, like in your company. You could work with QA to make sure that the
product is bug-free. Driver adoption. So this is something also
really good since it's a marketplace where end-user is booking the ride for future. Okay, So here you need to get drivers to adopt to this
particular feature as well. Just getting users might
not be best because if there are not enough
drivers exact him the rights than the
feature might be a video. So you can see like there are three possible challenges
along with good solutions. And you can see the solution for the driver issue is
suggested you to offer incentives and a high IOP or a priority access
to future rights. Because initially you will
have to invest a bit. And then later on, once you have both sides of
the market working together, you can just remove the incentives and things
could go really well. Okay? So this could be
like using chat GPT for getting along with the potential challenges
are preparing for them. You can also use chat GPT for post-launch analysis,
analyzing user feedback. So you could use
chat GPD to identify areas of improvement like
after the launch and so on. So you can write this prompt, act as a product manager. Here again, I'm
using the Act frees. Suggest the key metrics to track user engagement satisfaction
with our ride-sharing apps. New right scheduling feature that will give you
the key metrics. So it'll tell you like you can take a look at the
adoption rate. Now, what is an adoption rate? It is the percentage
of users who have used the right scheduling
feature at least once. Okay? Now why you should use this?
Why should track this? Because this will help you
understand how many users are aware of this feature and
even finding it useful. Frequency of use is another good one that
you can keep track off. So this metric measures how often users are using
this particular feature. And we can track
the frequency here. Conversion. So this
frequency feature helps you also keep in mind or keep track of
if users are using it regularly or they're
just onetime use cases, then conversion rate measure
the percentage of users who scheduled right after being presented the option to do so. So if conversion rate is good, it means that your
marketing copy promotion, and your CTAs are really good. If the conversion rate is bad, you can see your marketing
campaign is not that good or there is some issue
with the promotions or the CTA is not clear or
something like that. You can assess this later on. User feedback. So user
feedback, this is, of course, this is one important thing wherein you can
get user feedback. You can track it through
user surveys and so on. Or you can also have
in-app feedback forms. Then you have the
retention rate. Using that you can measure
the retention rate, which is nothing but
the percentage of users who continue to use the right scheduling feature
after their initial use. You can use chat GPT to
help you with the metrics. And you can even use chat GPT-2, improve the feature launch, like feature launch
strategy by iterating and refining your approach based
on the feedback and results. Okay? So let's say you get some
feedback from your users. So you can use this
template here. You can see act as
a product manager, recommend adjustments to a ride scheduling features,
launch strategy. Based on the following
user feedback. You can have the
feedback over here. And let's say I have this
particular feedback. So feedback that I have. I liked the new ride
scheduling feature, but I had difficulty
finding it in the app. Also, it would be
great if there were some tutorial or a help section to guide users
through the process. Okay. So we got an issue here. I can ask open-air
to regenerate. Okay. So I believe that is whenever this thing happens,
you usually refresh. This happens quite often
if you are on a free plan. So you can refresh and you
can give the prompt again. So just make sure before
refreshing you copy the prompt. Otherwise it won't
like you have lost it. So just copy it, refresh and then you
piece back and you will get this as an output. So you can see Jack
GBD is recommending the following adjustments to our right scheduling
features launch strategy. It's asking you to
make the feature more visible in the app. You can make use of
prominent. More prominent. You can make it
more prominent by adding it to the app
menu home screen, include a short
description of the feature provided tutorial and collect
more use of feedback. You can make use of chat GPT to craft a amazing
product launch strategy. So you can do great
launches with charged GBD. You can plan the
launch strategy. You can graph the launch
messaging and copy. You can get the marketing
materials done like blog post, press releases, social
media post and so on. You can get the list of potential challenges that
can be foreseen, okay? You can be prepared for it. You can do a post-launch
analysis and feedback and you can ask chat GPT to help with how can you measure user engagement satisfaction
and the usage in the app? You can even refine and iterate on the feature based on
the feedback you get. That's chat GPT, helping
you with product launches.
