1. Edit Preview, What to Learn, Student Level: Could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And so that means if someone said no, I could keep adding things until eventually they said yes. So in the short course, these are the things that you will learn how to create and design captions and two techniques on how you're able to create moving captions. And this course is for all levels once you're able to learn the techniques because the techniques are very simple on how you're able to create moving captions. So without further ado, let's begin with the course. 2. Creating and Designing Captions: One. So in this course, I will be teaching you how to create moving captions. So as you can see, I've already added a clip here, which is 7 minutes long, which you can use to practice what you will learn today. But I've already cut a portion of it here, which is 11 seconds so that it will not take so much of your time. So without further ado, let's begin. We are, of course, going to go to text, since we are editing captions here, click Auto captions, click Generate. Once that's done. Make sure that the words in the captions are correct, based on what was being said. So let's check right now. I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And so that means if someone said no, I could keep adding things until eventually they said yes. So now the captions are correct, based on what is being said in the clip. So as you can see, this is the system generated font style when you click on the captions. So you can choose which font you like. The next thing that we're going to do is go to templates. And choose whichever you're happy with in terms of the template. If you're happy with this or this, it's up to you. I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. For example, I'm going to use this template for the captions and make sure that apply to all is clicked so that the effect will apply to all captions. So the next thing that I want to do is to adjust the size because the size is too big for the video, so I'm going to adjust that right now in the font size. You can also adjust the color if you want. Or you can also add preset styles right here, depending on your liking. So I'm gonna choose that. I'm just gonna choose another color. So it's much more visible than being blended in the background right here. Let's see. I could still make money. Even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. It's sometimes I would like to adjust the line spaces right here. The line spaces are these ones. The characters are the letters in between the words. So I would like to have them closer to each other, so I would adjust this to zero, so that's more closer to each other. Sometimes I also want to adjust the shadow and add blur to it to make it more visually appealing for me. I can also adjust the angle of the shadow and the distance as well. So I'm just going to make that bigger. So you can see it. I had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And so that means if someone said no, I could keep adding things. Alright. So that is good. 3. Moving Captions - Technique #1: So next is what we're going to do is in order for you to move the captions. So as you can see. Honey, even if I wasn't good at sales, I just had to make it. The captions are just normal. It's not moving at all. So what we can do to have our captions moving is you select all of the text and then right click Create compound clip or G as the keyboard shortcut to click that. So it would create a brand new clip, but if you double click it, you would see the text again separately. So in order for you to go back to the original timeline, you just click this arrow right here. And it will bring you back to the original timeline. What we want to do is to have them moving. So just go to effet, and you can choose which one you would want to apply to the text clip. So, for example, we're going to use play pendulum. Sales, I just had to make an offer that was good enough they would feel stupid saying no. So I applied the effects play pendulum to the compounded caption clip. However, it's out of frame, and at the same time, it's not readable as of the moment. The next thing you can do is to adjust the settings in the details right here. I would want to remove this twist right here, lessen the strength and speed as well. And let's see what that looks like. Make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. So that is much more subtle in the movement. You can also choose whether or not if you're happy with that, or you can also adjust it more. I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. Alright, so that is a much more subtle movement in the captions, as you can see. You can also add more effects for this one, the FPS AD if you want a bit of a lab in terms of the movement of your captions, as you can see here. Money, even if I wasn't good at sales, I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. You can see the captions are not as smooth in terms of the movements as compared to earlier. So this was the effect prior to adding the FPS lag? Als, I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. It's much more smoother in terms of the movement, but when you add the FPS lag again, you can see the difference. Als, I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. So you can also add more effects. You can also add this one. And so that means if someone said no, I so again, you can opt to adjust the details right here, texture, speed, noise. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And so that means if someone said no, I could keep adding things until eventually. If you add more, it would transform the text and make it more different as you saw right now. So if you don't like it, you can just go here and click Effects, go to the effect that you want to remove and just click Delete. So it will remove that effect. So if you don't want the effect to be on this area, you can opt to just choose to put it in the middle. Depending on the placement of your captions, which was on the upper right, that's what the compound clip will follow. But if you double click, you can up to adjust the caption, whichever you want in the frame, and that will change the placement of your captions in the main clip. It's funny if I wasn't good at sales, I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And so that means if someone said no, I could keep adding things until eventually they said yes. 4. Moving Captions - Technique #2: Another technique which I want to show you right now for you to be able to have moving captions if you don't like the play pendulum is using keyframes. So what I've done here is that I copied the other compound clip and just use this for me to show you the other technique. So again, if you want to delete the effects, just click the effect and it will show and just delete it. The effts will no longer be there, but you have a compounded clip for the captions. How you're able to use keyframes is just go to the specific clip that you want to move. So for example, this one, just click at keyframe right here on the upper right and then go to Y if you wanted to move up and down, or you can opt to choose the position here, which is X, which goes side to side. So let me show you right now. Key frame a keyframe right now and go back to zero and then 80 again. And then zero. So this is what it would look like. I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. As you can see, the captions are moving up and down. So depending on you, how fast you want your funds to move. I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And another tip that I want to share with you is you can add a much more smoother effect to this, which is ease in and out for the keyframes. So just right click and then show variable speed animation. Keyboard shortcut for it is out K. So once you click that, you can see the keyframes right here. Let's look for the one that has the curves, which is this one, which is Y. So as you can see, it's just straight up down. So it's a bit boring. How we're going to enhance that is just click Control. Just hold it and click the keyframes. One by one. And just go here, preset curves, click Ease or called Ease depending on you make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And so that means if someone said no, as you can see, the movement is much more smoother and it has a much more dynamic feel to it. It's up to you which preset curves you want to use for your moving captions. I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel but I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they could just as you can see whichever preset you click, it would have a variation of movements to make it more smoother for your captions, based on the key frames that you placed. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And so that means if someone said no, I could keep adding thing. So I just adjusted the captions from the upper right closer to the subject's face. I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And now I'm just going to make final touches, go to EffXs again, choose low two. Even if I wasn't good at sales, I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And just make the necessary adjustments. Eventually, they said yes. And now this is what it looks like. I could still make money, even if I wasn't good at sales. I just had to make an offer that was good enough that they would feel stupid saying no. And so that means, if someone said no, I could keep adding things until eventually they said yes. 5. Skillshare How to Upload Project Moving Captions: Just like to congratulate you for finishing this course. So in this last part, I would like to show you how you're able to upload your projects in skill shares so that I would be able to watch what you've done in the project. So now that we are in the last part of the course, you just scroll down. So you can see here in the right part or in the right side of your screen, there is my project, and you click Submit Project. In order for you to submit your project edits. I highly suggest that you go to your G Drive, and then that is where you can upload your project. For example, this video right here is your project, you just click and drag and drop it and you just wait for the video to upload. And once the video is already in your GDrive, you go to the three buttons right here, which says more actions. So just click that and you go to share click Share. And as you can see, the general access is restricted, so you just click that and change it to anyone with the link. So once that's done, you copy the link, copy, and then you go back to Skillshare and you go to project description. So that is where you're going to paste the link so that I can see your project and you can title your project name, whichever you like. And then once that's done, you click Publish. And now that I'm able to see your edit here, I hope that was useful, and I look forward to seeing your edits. Thank you.
