2. Intro & Table of Contents: There everyone, in this course
I will be teaching you on how to use Cap Cut desktop
advanced editing techniques. After this course,
you will learn the tips on how to
make your edits better and look more professional and
clean without further ado. Let's proceed with the course.
3. How to Create Clean Cuts with L & J Technique: All of the assets that I will
be using in this course. I will be providing in a G drive link found in the projects
section of the course. So please do download that first so that you can follow
along in this course. So this is just a random clip
that I got from Youtube. So we will be cutting this
and applying the first step, which is applying the
L cuts and J cuts. So let's watch the video
in order for us to know what are the adjustments
to be made during editing. The only thing that separates you from what
you want is skill. And the only way to acquire
that skill is volume, right? And the thing is, is when
you have enough skill, you get luckier, right? You don't need to do 10,000
calls to get that one deal. Because honestly, maybe
in the beginning that, that is the biggest lay down
person you'll ever have. But then it gives
you a conviction that it can happen, right? And so the more volume you, the better you get and therefore
the luckier you become. But most people end up
hopping and always doing these half built bridges where they learn 234 of the skills, but there's ten that they
have to learn and they say, this isn't for me, and
they jump to another one. They start building
a new bridge, right? When the reality is, you just have to keep laying the bricks. Keep laying the
bricks. Keep laying the bricks all the
way across the bridge from where you are to
where you want to be and then the first
dollar walks across. And it takes a lot of time
to put those bricks in place and to figure out
which brick you're missing. And the only way to do it is more so you can zoom
in into the video for you to know where are the pauses or the spaces in order for you to
cut in the video, the only thing that
separates you. So in terms of this
type of sound, that's it that he
did with his mouth. I tend to remove
that because for me, it's distracting while
I'm watching the video. So I'm going to remove that. I'm going to cut it right now. So usual tool to use
is this razor tool. You can just use the keyboard
shortcut, which is C, and just click using your mouse and cut wherever you
want it to be cut. And then just press the delete
button on our keyboard. As long as this icon is clicked, which is the main track magnet, it means that if your
clip is on this timeline, it will automatically move when you remove a certain
clip on the timeline. So it will automatically
move to the left. But if you turn this
off, it will not move. So that's the purpose
of this magnet, so it's easier for you to edit. If you're going
to cut something, it would automatically
move to the left. So if you edit on top
of the main clip, regardless if the main track
magnet is on, it won't move. So that's the reason why
I moved it at the top. And later on we'll be using this once I'm finished cleaning
up the main clip, the only thing that
separates you, right, so that is a bit abrupt, so we will be moving
the lower clip from the bottom to the right
that separates you. So this is what
you call an L cut, because it looks like an L.
This is called the J cut. So as you can see,
compared to earlier, this is the original
clip from which, so there was a space in between which is
much more slower. But when I move the next
clip on top of this clip, look at how the transition was made from what you want, Judge. So it's much cleaner. And it removes the space in between because his action
didn't change as much. It was continuous,
even if we made a cut. You just have to make
sure that the action matches the next action
so that it's smooth. So if we play it
from the beginning, you'll see that the
cuts are smoother. The only thing that separates
you from what you want, Judge, so I'll adjust this. The only thing that
separates you from what you want separates you
from what you want. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. All right, so that
is more smoother and the cuts are not as
noticeable as you can see, just because we
use the techniques such as the L cut and J cut. So that is the purpose of them from what you
want is skill. All right, so make sure that you remove the
noises such as this. For me, I tend to just delete these types of
unnecessary noise in the clip so that
the person watching the whole clip will
not be as distracted. Because for me, it distracts me. Whenever I watch clips that have filler words or
things like this, I tend to just delete this. One is skill, bunt is skill. Or sometimes if you
don't want the sound, but you want to
keep the video clip for a much more smoother cut. What I do is I just cut it here, Make sure that it's separate
from the previous clip. And just remove the audio from this one so the sound will
not be present as we play it. Bunt is skill. So as you can see, the
audio was removed, but the action was still there, which makes it a much
more smoother transition. Bunt is skill. If you see that the transition is a bit abrupt, you can move this to the right to make the clip breathe a bit. From what you want is skill. Another tip. Most
of the time I use full screen so that I
can see how the cut performs if it's
abrupt or if it's clean or just make
it a bit bigger. So just play it on the very
beginning and you can see how the clips are more smooth
with the cuts that we made. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. So this is a bit abrupt for me, so let me just move it
a bit to the right. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. So that is much more
smoother of a transition from one clip to another
just because of our cuts. As you can see that when
I copy this clip again, let me just turn
the track into mute so that I won't play while
this clip is playing. So let me just show you
this clip really quick. I copy it here so that I won't
have to redo this again, because honestly,
maybe in the beginning that is the down person
you'll ever have. But then it gives you
conviction, right, Judge? Right. Three repeated
words that he said here, Cutting is that is that is the biggest judge.
All right, Judge. So in order for us to edit that, you have to also observe the movement in terms
of how you're cutting. Because at this point, he put down his hand while he was repeating
those three words. So what I did is, in terms of having a
clean and smooth edit, I make sure that the
clip of him putting down his hand is below this or is covered
by another clip. That is the clip that shows that he did not
put down his hand. So this is how I edited. Honestly, maybe in
the beginning that is the biggest lay down
person you'll ever have. So that is much more
smoother than having to cut the clip in such a way
that just need it again. Maybe in the beginning, that is, that is if you just do
the simple cut here, this is the side by
side clip of the cut. If you just simply
made a basic cut, maybe in the beginning,
that is the. So as you can see,
the transition of the cut is a bit abrupt here. From this clip, his
hand is raised, but when you transition
to another clip, he is raising his hand again. Let me just delete
that. So that's just a sample. So
this is what I did. That is the biggest light judge. So I made sure that
another clip is on top of the clip where
he put down his hand. Since this is a repeated word that he said below the clip, I made sure to
remove the audio for this clip so that it's a much
more smoother transition. The beginning that is
the biggest li judge. So this is another
option that I use which is the fade out for the clip. Just reduce the
duration for it to have a more quicker transition
that is the biggest. So that is still not
smooth because you can see the shadow of the other clip
as you can see right here. So sometimes I tend to move
the duration even further. For zones, there is 0.1 of the transition to hide the
shadow of the previous clip. To make it more, again,
smoother transition, that's what we want,
that is the biggest, so it wasn't as noticeable. As you can see, that
is the biggest. So sometimes I tend
to also use that if the transition of the L cut or J cut is a bit still abrupt. So you can use that
technique in your editing. So now that we have
our clip right here, so let me just play it again. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. And the only way to acquire
that skill is volume. And the thing is,
is when you have enough skill, you get luckier. The more volume you,
the better you get. And therefore, the
luckier you become. So the ending there shows that he is going to say
something else. So make sure that you
remove that part so it ends somewhere here, there. So the ending is also smooth. All right, so now that we are
done cleaning up the clip, what I want us to do
now is select All, which is the shortcut
control in your keyboard. And just right click in
your mouse and make sure to click this create
compound clip and la, you have one timeline
of the whole edit. And what I want us to do is for this to be
dragged below here, because the next step
is for us to captions.
4. Creating and Designing Captions: So this is the next step that we are going to
tackle, which is captions. So this is the previous
clip that we cleaned up. So what I want us to
do is go to text, which is on the upper
left part in captions. Just click that. Go
to auto captions. Make sure that the settings or the source language is at English because that's
what I want to use. Or if you want to use
another language, you can opt to do so. So what I want to
use is English. Just click Create and
wait for it to generate. All right, so now that we
have our captions here, what I want us to do is
to make adjustments. So I want the captions to be exactly how the audio is
played at the same time, so that it's synced. So let's check whether or not the captions match the
words that are being said. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. And the only way to acquire
that skill is volume. And the thing is,
is when you have enough skill, you get luckier. The more volume you,
the better you get. And therefore, the
luckier you become, the more volume this
lacks the word, so in order for
you to edit that, you just go to Basic
and just type it here. Or you can also edit
in the captions area. But for me I prefer here because I'm much more
comfortable editing here. Make sure they play
that over and over again to make sure that
there's no mistakes. All right, so now that we have the captions here and they're
correct what is being said, I tend to edit based on the timing of the
word being said. So for example here,
the only thing, so there was a pause here, but the caption says the
next line for the next clip. So what we want to do is, again, use the razor tool and just
click where you want to cut, and you have two
separate captions. So make sure that
you edit here again. So just delete that and do
the same for the next clip. The only thing that separates
you, as you can see, the captions match the
audio that's being said. The only thing that
separates you, let's watch the
whole video again. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. And the only way to acquire
that skill is volume. And the thing is,
is when you have enough skill, you get luckier. The more volume you,
the better you get, and therefore the
luckier you become. So just a segue from
editing captions. So as you've noticed, the ratio of the video
is at 16 by nine, which is the horizontal
size of the video. But if you are editing for
short form content or reels, you can opt to use
this nine by 16, which will make your
video like this. So whenever I edit
short form content, I make sure that I edit it from a video that has an original
ratio of 16 by nine. So that whenever I
adjust the video from zoom in or out,
just like this one. So it does help the quality of the video when
you're editing. So make sure that
if you're going to cut short form vials, make sure that you cut from
a 16 by nine ratio video. But if you only have the nine by 16 ratio, that's also okay. So that is just how I work. So we are going to edit this
as a short form content, so make sure to be
aware of that as well. Because whenever you
edit in captions, the size of the captions will
heavily depend on what is the ratio of your video so that the captions will not be
cut out from the video. So with that aside, let
us design the captions. So sometimes I opt to use
templates such as this one. So if you're using Cap cut pro, there are other options
for captions here. You can opt to use other
captions here or you can also use other designs or word arc here, thing
that separates you. So make sure that whenever you make changes in your captions, if you want all of
them to look the same, make sure that you click this. Apply to all on
this upper right. Make sure that this is ticked. Because if this is not
ticked, for example, if I untick this
and I make a change to one of the captions,
for example, this one. And I click a different
design, so this is green. But for the other captions, it will not apply because the applied to all
is not clicked. So this will change, or the other parts will
only change if you are here when this is clicked and you
click this, Apply to All. So the color green
will only apply to other texts or captions
if this is applied, depending on the clip
that was clicked. So again, for example, this is a different design. This is clicked and tick
the applied to all. So this is different,
but this is the same as the other captions. Just click Apply to All, and this will change this one. So that is the purpose of
the Apply to All tick box. So it's easy for
you to work with the design if you want
everything to look the same. All right, So as of the moment I'm not happy with the font. So you can use a different
font by choosing here. And you can also add
different font in cap Cut for as long as it's installed in your
computer or laptop. Just download free fonts, which I will put the link
below in the project section, where you can download
different types of fonts based on your desires. All right, so when
you choose a font that is bigger than the
previous one you've used, you can opt to just go to the
font size and adjust that. So for me, I don't
like this type where the words are so
close to one another, where there is no space in the middle, just like this one. So you can go below
here in this spacing, add from the line, adjust that based
on how you like it. Now you can see the space in between them. That's
how I like it. This is how the captions looks now with the
glow that I've chosen. So you can also opt to adjust the intensity and range
for your captions, just like this one,
that's very intense. I just wanted to be subtle. You can also choose
a background, which is what I did here. Make sure that you
adjust the height, this one, and the width. You can also adjust
whether or not you want the background to have round edges just like
this one or not. For me, I'm happy with this one. So I've added background
intensity, glow now. I'm happy with the caption. So it looks more like this. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. And the only way to acquire
that skill is volume. And the thing is,
is when you have enough skill, you get luckier. The more volume you,
the better you get. And therefore, the
luckier you become.
5. Asset Layering: So now that we are done with adding cap shots and
cleaning up the clip, the next thing that
we're going to do is to add images to make it
more engaging, right? So the first thing
that we can do here is copy this clip and paste on top. When we paste the
other clip above, make sure that the
volume is not present. Or make sure to zero out the volume so that the
audio will not double. And the next thing
is you go to cut out video cut out and auto
cut out the background. So just wait for the
video to be cut out. So the next thing
is for you to add the animated background
in between the clips, so it would look like this. So whichever is at the
top of the timeline, that will cover what
is at the bottom. So that's what you call
layering of assets. As you can see, the cut
out is not as clean, so you can still see some parts of the background
just like this one. But that's okay because I will re frame the
subject later on. For all of the assets that I
use such as images, videos. I get it from Canva simply
because it's quicker. So tendency whenever
I use Canva, I go to elements and just type whatever it is that
I'm looking for here. All right, so this is, for example, the asset
that I want to use. So make this white. I have a technique in order for you to have
like a glowy icon, just disregard this background. I just place this background behind this icon
because it's white. So if I remove this, it will become white as well. I won't be able
to see the icons, so just click Download,
Transparent Background, and make sure that
you select the page that the asset that you
want to download from, so make sure it's
transparent background and PNG download. All right, so this is
just a trick that I use for me to have that glowy
effect for the icons. So once you've downloaded the
asset that you want to use, just copy and paste it here. And just delete this, drag
and drop it to the same page. This is now an image,
so as you can see, if I click this edit photo, I can now add a shadow
or a glow to it. So make sure that you
change the color. La you have a glowing
asset, so that's glowing. And then you just
repeat the process again in downloading the image, so make sure it's on the right
page. Just click download. So that is how I use Canva in order for me to get my
assets in terms of editing. Now we go back to
cap cut and just drag and drop the
icon here again, make sure it has its
transparent background. So this is how I'm going
to edit this right now, so in order for us to have
that paper ball effect. So when I hide track, this is what it would look like. This is the animated background. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. Make sure to cut here. Just go to transition. Just put it in between
these clips where you cut. So this is the transition of the paper ball effect from what you want after that transition. As you can see, there's
a paper ball effect happening behind the subject. What you do for this first
clip in order for you to keep the transition is for
you to click this clip, go to Video and Basic, and then just zero
out the opacity. Just make it like that. It will look like this separates
you from what you. There was a paper ball
transition happening in the background which
looks like you're covering up the background
of the subject. So I'm going to key frame a
certain portion of this part so it won't affect the
other clips I cut here. And then just adjust
the captions. I just remove the
other half just because I wouldn't be using
that as much anymore. So what I want to
happen is to remove the subject and to
insert the asset, which is this one behind him. So you use key frames. Keyframes is this one. Just click that, a key
frame and then just move this and it will
automatically add another key frame right here.
It would look like this. You want just from what you want, from
what you want. Adjust the transition for the purpose of timing
from what you want. So as you can see, the motion of the subject is a bit stiff. You want going down,
it's a bit stiff. How we will be able to
fix that is just click the clip on where the key frames are and show keyframe animation. Shortcut is, make sure to go to the frame where the adjustment
of the movement was made. You can opt to just
click this curve and it will automatically make
changes on your clip. You want. So that is a bit more smoother than what you want
as compared to before. It was just straight, just going down without any motion effects. Or you can also use
this ease in and out, and you can just click whichever you want and it will show the difference on how the
frame will move your subject. But all right, so I'll
just choose this because this is much more smoother
and not as abrupt, can also add effects here. What you want that is
much more smoother and just to make it more realistic
in terms of the motion, I'll add somewhat
of a motion blur. How we are able to do
that is go to effects, go to body effect, and choose this one
operate number one, just put the effect
right above the clip. Make sure to just apply it in between the key frames so
that it's more realistic. As of the moment the
blur is horizontal, we want it to be vertical
because that's how the movement of the
subject is up and down. We want to make sure that it's vertical and just reduce or apply the blur amount as much as you want it to be
more realistic. I also want to add
keyframes to it. I want the timing of the motion blur to be right
when the image is moving. Just like this one, right
before the image moves. You want you have to
time the movement. Right blur is zero, it will key frame two, five you want there was
a motion blur there. As you can see, the
subject is a bit blur. So now that we have the
subject going down, we want the asset that we just downloaded from
Canvas to show here. Just put it above here. So I want this to show as if this is hiding
behind the subject. So make sure that you
apply this right below, so that it's hidden right
before the subject goes below. To show the asset from
what you want for you, from what you want is skill, so it won't be as harsh. I want to add them
what you want. I want to add a keyframe
here for both opacity and the size key frame on where you want to end the asset,
which is this one. And then we go back
here, just apply, for example, 20% and
make this a bit smaller. Just let's see how it
looks from what you want. The keyframe is a bit boring, just like what we did earlier. Here, let us apply the
keyframe. Animation. Again, from what
you want is skill. The next thing for me to do
is to reappear the subject. Just go here, quick key frame at the latter part
on where you want the subject to reappear again. So make sure that this is the same keyframe so
that it does not move. The subject stays beneath
until you change the keyframe. Here, I'm going to
change this to zero because it's the same as
the previous key frame. It would look like this skill
is falling, skill is fine. And I want this to fade out so that it's clean in terms
of how the transition is. So just go to animation
out, Fade out. It is fine for both
asset in the background. Animations fine is fine. So make sure that when you are playing with key frames
and the fade in and out, make sure that the subject is already the same place
as the original one. Or else if you add the
fade here and the subject has not been the right place at the right time, it
would look like this. Right? That scale is fine. So you would see the
background. Just this one. So when the above layer is not yet fully at
the top to match, the lower lip would look
something like this. Scale is fine, so it's not as smooth as you can see there. Make sure that the
fade out comes last. Make sure that the clip above matches the same position of the subject in the lower part of the clip before the
fade out happens. So it would look like
this scale is fine. So it would look like
there was a transition or a fade out in the background,
but not on the subject. We can add the motion
blur effect here on where the subject appears so that there is consistency all
throughout the edit. Go to key from animation
again, that's good, but motion effect lasts longer than the motion or
the movement of the subject, so make sure to reduce that. For it to be much more smoother, I want to create
another key frame here, which means the blur. Let's see how that
will look like. Skill is volume. Okay, let's play it
from the beginning. Let's see how the edit is going. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill, and the only way to acquire
that skill is volume. All right, so that is smooth. The next thing is I want to make a cut here to add a transition. So let's use the glare
and the thing, Judge. Make sure to also be
careful on the duration of the transition because since
I have a cut out here, it would overlap with the transition as you saw
earlier in the think Judge. And in terms of the caption, I also don't want it to
be over de transition, so make sure to
adjust that as well. And now I want us to add
the zoom in and out. So make sure to start
from the beginning, use key frame and
then end on where you want the zoom
in effect to end. So for me to have an easier way for me to make that
zoom in effect, I go to scale and then just adjust it here, for example, 35. So let's see how that looks. And the thing is, when you have enough skill, you get
luckier the more. So you can see that there
was a zoom right here. So it's slowly zooming in to emphasize what he
is talking about. The thing is, is when you have enough skill, you get luckier. Just make a cut
again because I want this to have a different scale. This part has the animation
going on here, this volume. And the thing is, and
this is the slow zoom in. When you have enough skill, you get luckier the more volume. All right, so for this part,
I want to add more assets to this part of the video without removing the
background again, as compared to this one. So that this part
will be different. Aside from the zoom
in of this part, I want to add something
beneath the video. I'll add another asset here, so make sure that
the asset doesn't have a background so it
would look like this. And you can just
adjust the size of it. You can also put the asset on top of the caption so that
it would look like this. So that it won't be cut out. So it would look more
professional in a way. Or it adds a bit more design to the edit because
it's not cut out. And then just time it to what the subject is
saying, get luckier. So if you don't want an
image that is not moving, you can opt to go to Effects
and click on Pendulum, click on it, hold, and then drag and drop it to
the image itself. And what will happen is
it will look like this. You get luckier. So for me, that is a bit too much. So just go here to the details, to the special effects, and just adjust the
settings for it, the strength, and the speed,
So it would look like this. You get luckier. So I'll make the duration
of the asset longer. So you can see how
the effect is. This is when you have enough
skill, you get luckier. So as you can see,
the movement of the asset is much more
subtle compared to earlier. So that is one way to add
more character to your edits. All right, so just
cut the duration. I want to add more assets here, so again, just drag and drop. As you can see from the image, you can see the edges
from the asset. So what I tend to do
with this is I go to mask just to hide the
cut out of the asset. So let's use this
rectangle mask tool. Just click it then you will see that the image is
much more smaller. But don't worry, we
will adjust that. All right, and then
add feather to it. So as you can see now
it's much more softer. It has a fade effect to
the corners. Put it here. And then again, if you want to match it with the other assets, just click again, this effect, drop it to the asset that
you want it to apply to. Again, just repeat the
process, make adjustments. I want this image to say put
when the other image shows. So what I want to do
is just drag a top. And just drag the duration even longer so that it would
reach the other asset. Again, it's all about layering. What I did there is that earlier the assets
look a bit cramped. I click this and edit mirror
for the asset to face. Another way to make room
for the other asset and to hide the mask part or fade
out part of the other image, I just placed it over
the other image. The next part is we can add the animations on how it
would enter the screen. Since this is on the right part, I want it to come
out from the right. So just click animations. Go to slide to right. It
would look like that. Same with the other one. Since it's on the left side, I want it to enter
on the left side. You get lucky, so it
would look like this. The thing is, when you have enough skill, you get luckier. And then to add more
effects to the edit, I want to apply
the animation out, which is the same thing
how the assets entered. So this is from the left. I want this to exit
on the same side, same thing here, Point, and make sure it's simultaneous
so it would look clean. And after that, I
want to add something here that's going to
enter from the bottom up. So let's add another asset. Dragon drop at this at the
center, adjust the size. And again, go to Effects. Add the same effect, adjust it. I want this animation
to be in sliding up, Judge, I want to add
another asset here. So you can also go
here to stickers where you can choose
different asset options. Here. You can also use search. Let's use one of
the assets here. You can also animate this the better you get and therefore the
luckier you become. All right, so now
that we are able to add all of the
assets in the video, the next thing is sound
design or sound effects.
6. Sound Design/Effects, & Thumbnail: Now we are in the part where
we will add sound effects. Another good thing in Cap Cut is you can add a folder here. You can do that by just clicking right click in the
mouse and just clicking folder and just rename the
folder to whatever you want. So I've added the
sound effects here. Just click that. So
let's see the video how we are able to incorporate
the sound effects into it. The only thing that
separates you from what you want is so as you can see, there was a paper unwrapping behind him from what you want. So we, of course, want to have a paper sound effect there. So I've added this one, drag and drop it here, and let's see, it's
from what you want. So there were two
movements there. So aside from a paper, the subject is going
down and there's an asset moving forward
into the frame. So let's move it a bit here. All right, So the paper is okay. You just have to
lower the volume. So you can only lower the volume by going here to basic volume and just drag it to the left if you want to reduce the sound
or drag it to the right. Or you can also adjust
using this line. So we just click and hold and just drag either up or down. So up is higher volume, down is lower volume.
So let's see. It's you from what you want and the next sound is him
going down to the frame. I will use this, So this sound that I have is a compilation of all
the usual sound effects that I use whenever I edit. So I prefer to have this
sound here below that. And make sure this
is muted so it won't play when the clip plays
from what you want. All right, so if I
want a specific sound, but I want it to be a
bit deeper and slower, what I do is I go to the
upper right, which is speed. And then just lower down
the speed of the sound and make sure that the voice
tone change is clicked. And let's see what that
sounds like, what you want. So the sound is a bit slower as compared to this one
way to require that. So that is much more faster. So I want this to be a bit more slower from what
you want is skill. If you're not yet
satisfied with the sound, you can do voice changer and
you can click low or high. Want what you want is skill, and what you want is
skill, the only way. All right, so since the sound for the subject going down and the asset going forward works for this one Sound then
we'll keep it that way. You want is skill, and
what you want is skill. So moving on to another
aspect of the edit, which is the subject
reappearing again. I want to use this
sound effect again, but a bit faster
compared to this one. The speed of this is
0.5 I want this to be, I think 0.7 Let's try that skill is make sure to match
it in the key frames. And then voice tone
change, voice change. That skill is point. That skill is point, just like what I
did here earlier. Just make sure to reduce
the sound so it won't clash with the sound of the
subject talking for me. I want to change this because somehow
it's not working for me. All right, so this two
sound effects work. This sound effect is for
the subject going up, and this sound effect is for
the background beading out. And this one is like
a light glare effect. So I would want to this
camera shutter sound. And the thing is when you have a now the next sound is this one. For this one, I want to
use a different sound. So in order for us to hear this, you have to met the other
clips and the sound effects. All right, so I want this
because it's a bit subtle. Just put it at the right timing where the asset comes in and the thing is previously
the sound is a bit higher. So now I changed
the sound to deep because it works well with the asset coming in
things when you have. So let's use that the same way for this asset of skill you get. Again, let's the more volume, the volume, the better you get, Just adjust this
lower volume flu. The better you get, the more
volume, the better you get. I want to add emphasis here. The luckier you become. I want this to be zooming in. The closer the keyframes are, the faster it is for
the zoom to happen. Where the lock, the farther the keyframes
are from another, the slower the zoom ins
are, therefore the lock. I want to add
another sound effect here where it was zooming in. So let's use this
sound for this one. And therefore, the
luckier become, let's sow this down a bit. The luckier you
become, the only thing that separates you from
what you want is skill. And the only way to acquire
that skill is volume. And the thing is, when you have enough skill, you get luckier. The more volume you,
the better you get, and therefore the
luckier you become. All right, so the final thing that I want to
also give you a tip. You can also set a thumbnail
or cover your video. Just click this box right
here in the main time line. Click it and you can
either choose from which part of the video where you want your thumbnail to be, or you can create your own and just drag and drop it here. Same with what I do with Canva. But most of the time, it's
easier to do it this way if the content of your thumbnail is already here. For
example, this one. I want this part to
be the thumbnail, so just choose that
and just click Edit. You can also add other designs, but I'm good with just this one. So I click complete, and there you go, you
have a thumbnail. So now once you're
able to do that, you just click Export, And then you title the video. You save it to the folder
where you want it to be saved. Select that folder,
and it's up to you whether or not what resolution you want to save the video in. Since the video is at ten TP, I'll save it as ten
TP. Just export. The only thing that separates you from what you want is skill. And the only way to acquire
that skill is volume. And the thing is,
is when you have enough skill, you get luckier. The more volume
you, the better you get and therefore the
luckier you become. So that is it for the
cap cut advanced course. I hope you learned a
lot from this course. And please do let me know
your feedback on what these improvement or what
you like about the course. And at the same time, I do look forward to seeing your projects. I hope that you're able to apply the learnings that you got from this course and I hope to see you on the next course. Bye.
7. How to Upload Your Project: Just like to congratulate you
for finishing this course. So in this last part,
I would like to show you how you're
able to upload your projects in
skill share so that I would be able to watch what
you've done in the project. So now that we are in the
last part of the course, you just scroll down. So you can see here in the right part or in the
right side of your screen, there is my project and
you click Submit project. So in order for you to
submit your project edits. So I highly suggest that
you go to your G drive, and then that is where you
can upload your project. For example, this video
right here is your project, so you just click
and drag and drop it and you just wait for
the video to upload. And once the video is
already in your G drive, you go to this three
buttons right here, which says more actions, so just click that. And you go to
Share, click Share. And as you can see, the
general access is restricted, so you just click that and change it to anyone
with the link. So once that's done, you copy the link, copy, and then you go back
to Skill Share, and you go to
project description. So that is where
you're going to paste the link so that I
can see your project, and you can title your project
name, whichever you like. And then once that's
done, you click Publish. And now that I'm able
to see your edit here. I hope that was useful, and I look forward to seeing
your edits. Thank you.
