Art of Coffee Painting : For Beginners!

1. Introduction: Hello everyone. Welcome to my class. Um, so the other Val, and in this class and tell you how you can start with coffee painting very easily. This class is for beginners and include all the basic details that you need to know before coffee painting. I will tell you how you can embed differentiates Coffee, along with so many tips that will help you understand coffee painting and connect to a debt. This class is just the introductory class for coffee painting, so that you can start with it. And later on, I'll take you through the beautiful journey of coffee painting and my future classes. I will show you how you can make small cute bookmarks and the abstract painting, the floral paintings, and a lot more using coffee. But first, let's start with the bigness coffee painting in this class. 2. Material Required: For this class, we need a plain white sheet. This is half of a four size sheet and is of 320 GSM. We need to use a lot of water in coffee painting it 8 to use a good quality sheet. That is, the GSM of the sheet must exceed 300 in order to have a good quality sheet. We also need some water to turn coffee powder into pings, and we need a small amount of coffee. Pow2, we can make about five mini paintings with this much amount of coffee. So you can take coffee powder according to your requirement. Hill, I'm using this plate and I'm going to make only three shades of coffee in this class, as this class is for beginners, then I'm going to use three paint brushes. And all are of different size. As you can also notice her, I'm going to use three brushes because I want to use each branch separately for each shade that I prepare out of coffee. So now we'll start with the preparation of coefficients in the next lesson. So see you in the next lesson. 3. Preparing Shades of Coffee: So further shades of coffee, I'm using this big play tail. You will also use containers to mix coffee, L1. I'm going to put a lot of water at this while spot 7, less amount of water at the second spot. Least of all at this third spot. Using this dry brush to transfer coffee to all three spots. See, the main thing to keep in mind is that we add more water, the shade will lighten down. And if we add more coffee than the shade with Don Dakpo, everything lies in the ratio of water and coffee and nothing as that is why I took more water at one spot and kept on decreasing the amount of water. Now just makes all these three. And you can notice the difference in the shapes instantly. Hi. So now these three shapes as ready for testing these three shades, you can simply cut the strip out of the paper, as I always say, it's a fact of small slip off the paper that you're working on. And then try everything on that before you think those things onto the finance sheet. But here in this class, I will show you how do you differentiate and how to observe the difference in the sheets. So for this, I'm going to make a small tree in the next. And, and in that class I'll show you how you can create a painting by testing those shades. But makes sure to understand that this one, the third tree making the process in which I'm saying that this thing, the shape is just for testing purposes, the actual coffee painting is in the next to next. So what we're going do in the next lesson is distinctly shades, but in the form of a small painting. So see you in the next lesson. 4. Testing the Shades: Now to test the shades of coffee, I'm gonna use this 1.5th ice sheet. If you want, you can do taping on all the sides of this sheet and fix this sheet. But I'm not going to do so. I'm simply gonna pain the center of the sheet and not near the borders, but that's totally your choice. Firstly, I'm going to use the lightest shade and the flat brush for the background. As I'm going to make this at the center and not near borders. I'm not making any particular rectangle background. This is off random shape, like basic background. If you want, you can make rectangular background also. That's totally up to you. Just make sure to blend it properly. If we're doing just like me, then you can also make these kind of spikes on both the sides and then blend them. This looks really beautiful to me. Now, we're going to use one step darker shade of coffee to paint Tree Hill. And I'm going to use another brush for this shade. See, I'm not using the same brush for another shame because I really don't want to miss that two shades for z. If I use some grass for the lighter shade and then use it for the darker shade, then it may not make that must have friends. But if I use that brush back to the lighter shade and then use it on a sheet. And then this will truly be the same shape that we wanted to be on our paper. And this is going to really ruin the entire piece. So I suggest to use them multiple brushes for my shape. You can notice the slight difference in the shade. If you want, you can do multiple coatings as undoing too dark on it. And you can also add a pinch of coffee to this in order to make it darker. So these are the long leaves off. Let me add more coffee to this. I'll show you the darker shade. And that is how you can darker shades even after the preparation. That's the beauty of coffee painting, that you can simply add water or coffee to dilute or concentrated the solution respectively. And let me use this third shade, but with a third pain trash, I'm just darkening the shade. Adding dots to show frauds. Does stem of this tree. And also making some grass at bottle. And here also you can see the difference in the shade. So now we're done testing. We'll start with our final coffee painting in the next video. 5. Drawing the Flower: Firstly, let's draw the flower. We have two pink. For this, I'm using a six H pencil as this is really light. Hair represents a harness and really represents the brightness. If we use the pencil labeled to me, for me ethics v, then increase in brightness, call it phase two before we N6. Now, if we take Tombow least three, then six b is the brightest one. And if we use toys for it and thick edits, then the flux edge will be the lightest one. We call it the shape. Automatically enlightens running the number increases in edge and the darkens when the number increases wouldn't be. So to add, is very much more visible than for it and for it is really much more with the benthic sets. Now because I'm using the fix. That's because this is the lightest shade that I have. If you don't have these fixed expenses, then you can also use the developmental state HB. These are the regular pencil that we use. So you didn't use this pencil, just make sure to draw very light. So I'm using six, which is very light pencil on this paper, I'm drawing a very simple, very easy flag. If you want, you can draw any other labs totally up to you. We will start with coffee painting in the next video. 6. Coffee Painting: Now it's turned for coffee painting. Firstly, I'm using the lightest shade with a flat paint brush to paint the background as we did earlier while testing the shapes. Just the basic background and not the triangular one. Here. I'm adding a little water as these dried up a little. And you can also add water if we are shades even dry. Now, that's the beauty of coffee. If you add a little water, it comes back to its original, says It smells so good. It smells so good even after so many days all month, if you keep them aside and just add some water into it ends in this big set, this event into a very, very good and as fresh as coffees. If you add water to it and becomes fame earlier, it smells really good whenever you use them again. So nothing to worry. If you let some coffee, your color palette, then you can just give it a size, store it. And whenever you want to recreate all create any coffee painting, you can use the same coffee, add some water, and then use it. Doing the background as we did in the earlier lesson to make spikes and then blend them with the background. Draw the leaf. I'm just outlining what I drew in the previous lesson. Notice that completely. I'm just outlining the petal completely. But I'm highlighting that I made inside these petals. I'm also painting the stem, shape. The shape. This is the darkest shade among all. And I'm adding a little more coffee to make it even darker. I'm using this shade to draw the seeds area and the middle part of this flag. This looks very attractive when the focus is on the center part of the flower. Coffee painting is ready. Very basic coffee painting. This class is for beginners. And the next lesson. 7. Detailing: Now for the tailings, I'm using this black pen. You can use black highlight DO on maybe mako, I sketch been outlining the leaf and stem first, adding some lines. One thing that I want to share, that data, the BlackBerry, Yes. The coefficient is light, but it's easier to draw it.
