Hello, I'm Amelie.

I started drawing with a pencil when I was sixteen, initially focusing on pencil drawing classes. During these early years, I developed a strong foundation in portrait drawing, figure drawing, and facial features design. I also honed my skills in working with colored pencils, ink pens, and watercolors. These diverse experiences have given me a comprehensive understanding of various techniques and styles.

As my interest grew, I discovered a passion for character design and animation, which led me to pursue professional character design classes. My university education in the field of animation further deepened my expertise. At the age of twenty-four, I began teaching character drawing with a pencil, combining my knowledge of traditional drawing techniques... See full profile

1. Introduction: Hello to all of my dear friends. Welcome to the pencil sketching and illustration course for animal characters. An important part of characters sketching for students is definitely sketching the animal characters. In this course, you will learn how to illustrate and draw characters of different animals in a principled way using geometric shapes. In this course, you will learn the characters GetString of tiger, panda, bear, monkey, gorilla, raccoon, lion in different models and different positions. I hope this course is useful for you and increases your design creativity. And you will enjoy it. 2. Introducing the tools: Hello to all of my dear friends. We are here again and today we want to learn about the equipments and tools which are needed for this course, which is characterizing the animals. I would start with my at it. Because first symbol. We are going to create our primary sketch for our characters. And I will do it with the use of my edit it. And I would also use b or B2 pencil. It is going to be needed for our work. This is B and this one is B2. I've chosen these pencils because our primary lines for our primary sketches are going to be drawn lightly. And then we've made sure that our work is okay, and it's correct in all aspects. We can use pencils with higher numbers and fix our work. But for the beginning of it, it's better to start our work with B or B2 pencils. Now, for our attitude, we also need this. And just pay attention that the type of your edit and the type of your lead or it's a tip, would be the same. So if you choose one of them, 0.5, the other ones should also be 0.5. You shouldn't choose, for example, 0.7 lead for 0.5 at it. And even if you can't see the leader violated is to be. It should also match your pencils. So you can create softer lines. Now, after all of these, we need obviously a pencil sharpener. These are which have this kind of a case at the bottom of them are the best because it will make your work easier and faster. You would also need a sharpener for your pencils. And after that, we definitely need erasers. We would definitely definitely need our dough eraser. This is a necessity. So you should definitely have a dirty eraser. You can also have pencils, erasers. I have the fabric castle type of it. Something good about these pencils is that at the ending part of them, they have it brush, venue, erase any part of your work. You can use your brush to get the extra things off your work. Your work would not get messy. It would just make your work easier. Can also use this kind of brush erasers. But again, I say delivery CR is a necessity and you should definitely have it or otherwise you can note, do your work. And another kind of eraser that you can have is this eraser that they have some kind of an eraser tips inside of them. You can change them or wherever. Your work is so thin and you want to erase it. You can use this kind of erasers. So this is another type of eraser that you can use in your work. Then another point that I should tell you is that you can use this pencil holder for your pencils. This can come to use for you when your pencil would be too short and small. Therefore, you can place it inside of this pencil holder and use it. One of the most common problems that people have is that then, and pencil is short as small, they cannot properly use it, but this pencil holder actually helps you to use your pencil still. I think this is also necessary for your work if your pencils are short or a small, okay? And we are going to have some works with colors. Therefore, we need some colored pencils. For the parcel. You want to use some shadings. You might even need a fader. We will just use this fader limited oddly. But if you like it, you can use it more. And I also have a brush. Therefore, I can get any extra things off my work so it would be clean and it wouldn't be messy. My paper and my sketch would know sketch messy. I use it, especially for the, for the times that you use. You want to use color on your sketch because it would not let your work to be dirty. And therefore, it wouldn't make your colors look dirty. You can use 1212 number colored pencil, or 28 or even 108. Depends on how much cost you have for this, how much you want to pay for this stuff. And you can also consider your colors more than this. It depends on you also need some papers for our work and normal lie cheat. You can also use some board that you can place it underneath your paper and your hand. You can also have some paper tape, and these are just some accessories that you can have if you want. The board will be also kind of unnecessary for you because it would be placed underneath your hand and your paper. And it will actually fixate, fix your paper on your board so it wouldn't move. These are all the tools that you're going to need for this characterizing course of animals. And you can provide them. 3. Basic principles of animal illustration: Hello, My dearest friends. We are here. We did course of characterizing animals. We want to see what do we need for the beginning of our course of characterizing the animals and what things are important. So I would teach you a general structure for the animal's head. We can consider this and start this with a circle. The beginning of our work is creating a circle. In general placement of the head. This would be different in different animals, but generally do face of most of animals can start with creating a circle. Then we would determine the placement of our animals jaw. And then depending on the animal that you're working on, this area can be different. It can be bigger or smaller than this. Either way. Based on the animal that you're creating. This part can be different. For example, for a rabbit or a bunny, This part is not too big and it's not too small. A medium size compared to the size of the face. For example, for the dog, you should create bigger nose. For a rabbit, you should create a smaller nose. All of these that happen in creating your face depends on the animal that you're creating, on which animal that you are creating. I would also tell you another point is about the eyes. You can create the eyes completely, simply, completely simple, sorry. The shape of two ovals like this. Or you can just get eyes closer together or event in some animals, you can create the eyes as smaller. All of these depend on what kind of animal you're creating and it will differ from each animal to another. But generally for the dogs, you should create the jaw longer. But in some other animals, this is not possible. In the front view, it's not possible therefore. For example here this would be to nose of a dog. And then they would have the line for its mouth are almost also create a tongue for it, for example. Then for this part above the nose, we will create one or two lines in order to show the depth of the job. Because in front view you cannot show the length of the job. But if you are creating your animal in the side view or three phases view, showing the jaw is so much more easier. Example for this side view, depending on the dog that you're working on, you can change the shape of the nose. For example, you can create it like this. Or you can make it look like this. If this is your jaw, you can create your nose like this in this shape. You would actually create the nostril for your nasal area. Again, I say depends on the dog that you're creating and the view that you are creating your dog in. It can have so many different types, so many different shapes for creating the jaws, the eyes, the nose, or even the mouth. Generally, you should pay attention that which kind of animal you're working on. Another point is about the ears. They are SS of animals. Again, depends on the type of animal that you're creating. You might, for example. You might be creating a cat. Therefore, you should create a small ears for it. Or you might want to create a rabbit. Therefore, you should create long and thicker ears for it like this. Then with some lines you would definitely show the volume of the ear. Then for example, for inside of the air, you can use some lines to show that inside of this ear we have a volume at a depth or an event. Now we might have some hair inside of it. You can use these kinds of lines. You should consider that everything that I'm telling you generally right now, we will actually apply them in each one of the animals one-by-one in their own episodes and you might not worry about it right now. I'm just telling you the general principles. And then later I will explain them one by one in each episode. For example, if I wanted to create a mouse's ear, it would look like this. So as you can see, we have different types of ears, nose, eyes, even jaws, and so many other things. It really depends on what kind of animal you're creating. But as I said before, most of the times is start our work for the head, for it creating a circle. So this was about the mammals. But if you want to work on birds, this structure of their heads can be elicited bit different. First, we should consider an oval for the placement of their head. I mean, for the most of the birds. But if, for example you want to create a pigeon, you can start with a circle for its head bug myself, the birds would be a start with an oval as their heads. Then it was determined or placement of the eyes and our birds peaks because birds have also, the shape of the beak can be different in each bird. Exactly the same scenario Davy had for the jaw in mammals. We have it in beaks. For birds, we have them long, short, thick, or thin. It depends on the type of bird that you want to create. If I wanted to give you an example, for example, if I wanted to create a doc, you will create this oval. If you want to work into side view, you should create it speak like this. I will consider it a general placement for the beak. And because you are creating a dog, you should also come inside of the face and determine these placements, but you will come up to this area and then from this inner side, you will come out and in again. This would be deep beak of a deck. From this side view, this is the placement of the eye. As you see, for example, this is a structure of duct speak. But if you want to create power it for example, you should change the shape of your beak. You can see DB, cough, my parrot is more volume and it's chubby. Or actually, first we will consider an oval and then you'll bring it toward inside like this. And also from this side, you will come toward inside of the face and then from the lower part, you will create the lower beak. You can also determine the placement of the nostril on debate. This was about the beaks and they would also differ from each other. And it depends on what kind of a bird you are creating. You should definitely consider this in your works. This was an explaination about the general structure and shape of the animals and the birds heads. But I will explain them in details in each episode. 4. General illustration of the first Tiger: Hello, love my dearest friends. We are here again with another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create a tiger together and we are going to see how it's done. All right, I'll start with creating very simple shapes for our primary sketch. And this way, we are actually helping ourselves not to be afraid or what we want to create. We can move and improve our work step-by-step. I'll start with creating a circle for its head. Then I'll create the line to determine the direction of my head. I consider two parts for my head. There is one part which is at the top and it's thinner. I bring the direction line down a little. And then for the rest of the face, I will make more volume with these lines. I want this area to be wider, especially more on this side because our face is facing toward this side. We have to show that this side has some extra volume in order to show the dimension and the volume in our face. Okay, I'll create this line. The same shape as I added to my face. I bring it down. And as you can see, my lines are turned and Dave come down. Alright, now what I'm going to do, I'm going to create another circle shape for my tigers body. And then now their volume for the rest of its body. The back part actually. Then because you won't be confused. You can also create another line to determine the direction of the bodies so we would see what is going to be our whole body shape. We continue with this line toward outside of the body and I also determine the placement of the tape. Okay. Now, I will determine the placement of the arms and the legs. Just several long lines right now because right now we are creating a primary sketch and we just want to determine where our legs and arms will go. You don't have to create any details here. Then you can just add some shapes over here to have the pause and our character is primarily shaped. Later in detailing phase, you can add the muscles and all the details that you want. I also determined the placement of the legs in the same way. You should consider that because our body is facing this way, the legs and the arms would also face this way. And if I create this line, I can show that where my leg should be placed. I determine its placement over here. And I create this one over here. We can know where we can finish. The other back leg. I'll create another line to actually, for everything that we want to do in our sketch, we use guidelines. Therefore, our work would be minimum mistakes or non preferably. Dan, I will determine the placement of the ears. One over here. Another one over here, and I create both of them in the shapes of triangles. Then for its face. I will also determine a placement for the nose and the mouth. Then I'll create the eyes. Just a general shape of them, not with any details. And then I'm just going to add some muscle on the legs and the arms. Because I want the shape of my body to be more shown and more complete. Then I'll start with an oval. Then with another old, I will actually join these two parts together. Then we'll create the paws like this. We actually connect all these parts together to shape the arms or legs. I'll also do the same for the other arm. I bring it down with especial shape. I create the chest area over here. I bring it up to the neck. We can know where our other arm starts and so it can show itself. Then this overall between, I mean, actually in the middle of the arm. At last this would be the other part. Let me try to create both of them in the same shape. We should just consider that if it goes into perspective, this would be more in the back, might be a little smaller. That's it. Now I would want to work on my tigers legs, which are on the back. If you pay attention to them, well, they should be a little like hands. But it's most likely that they should go a little bit more up because this is a tiger and it has very strong back legs, they help it run so I will create some strong muscles for the leg. Then I place the leg on its toes actually in this way. And as I said before, in the continuous of that, instead of us going on this line, we go up and we create the muscles all the way to the top. Okay. Then I'll do exactly the same for the other leg as well. It's exactly the same. We cannot actually see this area which is on the other side of body. But we are going to create it right now. So we would know how much should be created for this leg. Then with a simple line, all go down toward the pol. Then I'll do exactly the same as I did for this like, the same shape will be applies here as well. This way are general and primary shape is almost complete. Then I would also create my tigers back its neck. Then I move to its spot to ending part of the body. And then it also creates some volume for detail as well. This would be a general shape for my tiger with general volumes. For this area. This part of the face, we go up. Actually the lower part of the face, as you can see, is wider comparing to the upper part of the face. Now I want to move on to add the details to my tiger for next step, of course. 5. Drawing the details of the first Tiger: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back wait to continuous of our work on our character. And this time we are going to add the details. I'm going to start with my tiger's head. Something that I should tell you before I start is that we should have some patterns on our tigers body and its face and the direction of these lines and these patterns are very important. So we can show the realistic aspect of our character. So if we create those lines without any specific, specific direction, it would be very bad and it wouldn't be realistic at all. So I'm just showing the direction of these lines with some flashes here. On the top of the face, we come toward both sides down. And for the ones for the patterns on the side of the face. We come from the side toward inside, I mean from the edges towards inside of the face. These are the direction of our lines. And from here, we can come in again. And then for the body, we have a white area over here, which doesn't have any patterns, which is actually a part of a neck, the chest, and it's the stomach. Also a part inside of the legs. And in these parts, we do not create any lines or patterns. I would work on this outer lines on the body towards this side and again, this site for the legs because we are going down, our patterns are also going to go down. And we would do this part like that. Then for our arm which is on the other side, we should come toward this side. Until we get to the bottom of the arm. It's the same error pattern will continue the same way. Now for this area which is actually the arm, it goes towards this side. Again, like exactly like the other arm. As we did there. We can also create one line, the opposite of wrist of them. Now for the back of our tiger, the lines are coming from the bag toward the inside of the body like this. If you can see. And these are actually the lines, the patterns on the back which are going down. Then again on the back legs, we have the same pattern as we did on the arms. From these parts. We go toward inside, like this one in the front. The last one would be in the opposite site. Then I'll do exactly the same for the other back leg, which is on the other side of the body. I go to her insight. Then for its tail, the patterns would be like this. Four here it should go down and for the end of it, it would look like this. These are the direction that we should consider for our body. Now I'm going to add the details to my body now. I will complete this stomach line as well like that. Now for my character's face, I'm going to complete this shape like this. That will create the face like this. With this shape that I had in my primary sketch. From this side, I go out again and come in again. Like that. Then I move on to create two ears and I would also complete them just as well as I did for here, as I did for the face. Now, I'll separate inside of the ear, we'd only align. Then I will do the same for this other area as well. I should separate the outer part of the ear from the inner part of it. Then for this inner part of the ear, we can emphasize on it more with this line, with actually darkening this line. Now I would also determined the placement of the eyes. I'll create a line like this. Then. I will create the eyes in their specific placement. Very precisely. Okay. Then for this upper part of the eyes, we have some eyebrows, so we should place them as well. We create these eyebrows very thick. Looking like that. We create the other eyebrow like this. We created on this upper part of the eye. Now I'm going to work on this inner part of the eye and I would also create its details. Then the inner part of it. Pupil atlas. Then I can move on and work on the other eye, which should be actually shaped like the eye that we've just done. The shapes should be the same. The same method as well. Then I'll create this inner part of our eye, the pupil. And then I can move on and create my character's nose. Actually it's jaw and it's nasal area. For this inner part. I will create the shapes like this. Then with a line from the medulla of the nose, I come down so I can create my Tiger's mouth. For this part of our face. We should also create a line coming out from Domino's and toured done mouth because our face is turned and v should definitely show this volume on our tiger's face. So you have to show that it's coming out of its face. Then for this lower part, I'll create the shapes very easily. And also another line would be placed beneath our mouth. Then I would work on the lines which I should determine. For my face. From the sides. I go toward inside and toward the nose. And also I'll do the same for the other side of the face as much as you can see it from this angle. Remember that this area would be placed white. I mean, this area would be stay white. And the upper part would be orange if you want to color your character. Now, I want to create the patterns that I've told you about on my tiger's face and its body. We should exactly follow these flashes that we've created. And we are going to turn them two lines. And to the patterns. Then we are doing this. Work will be so much more easier as you can see. They've made our work easier to do. Just like that. I'll create all the patterns that I've placed all over its body. Next line. From the other side also, we create deadline. Something about the lines that I should tell you. That when you are creating the lines as you are going from the beginning of the line. And to Demeter love it, you should create a shape like this. You want to create another line above it. This middle part should be wider. And when you are getting to the ending or the beginning of the lines, you should connect these two lines together. And you're actually making it thinner. You are reducing the width, a width, because this way it would look much more better. And I'm going to do exactly the same for the body. I mean that the patterns that I've created with flashes would be turned into lines and the flashes will turn into patterns. Then from here, I come to our legs, the arms. You can also create your patterns in two parts, as I did here. For this area. We can move down like this. For this one. As you can see, I've created this line like that. I want to create some very different and unique patterns. On here. We are going to create very simple lines because we cannot see this side of the body to match, so we cannot work on them too much. I'm just moving on the flashes that I've made exactly with the same pattern. Because as I said before, our work would be done easier and our patterns look like better. There are no two ordered and they are not too chaotic, so it's somewhere between the middle. I bring these lines down. From this area. I bring this line down so I can increase the muscles of the arm. Then I come down like that. Then I will show the fingers with these lines. Now I'm moving to create the other one as well. As I said before, I'll do the same for the other one, the same way. It's just that we cannot see too much of this arm create the lines of the arms the same way, the same pattern. You can also, if, I mean, if you want to color it, you can keep this lower part of the paws white. Now if you pay attention to the lines are churning as they come down because they should match the angles. We have some volumes over here. And there should be a twist and turn on them so the angle of them, the shape of them would be correct. Also from this side, I twist it. Go in, recreate all of the flashes the same way we continue all of them. We create all the patterns on the body. As we move on and create the muscles and details on it. We do the same for the back and detail. Just like that. I create lines over here. And we would also create the lines which should contain these patterns. Can also create some distance between these lines and these patterns in order to show each one of them better and more. So that depends on you as well. The way over your pattern can be changeable. Can also create the pattern zone to back this way. Then when you come from the back, are actually creating curved and smooth lines for our back. Like this. And this is it. This was our line. You can also connect some of these lines and patterns together. For example, I can create another line from here, and then we can add these two patterns through each other, can connect to each other. We are just moving on the flashes. We do the same. All over the body. We follow the same pattern. Can also go towards the end. You can make it actually thinner or you can make it wider. As I said before creating it completely depends on you. But there's something that you should know. Try not to create all the lines and all the patterns with the same shape because it will reduce the attractiveness of your work. See, for example, I've created this area with two lines and then I've created this last line differently. As you can see, my patterns are in order, yet they are not too similar. That looked like one plane, meaning less shape. Then I'll determine the fingers for the back legs. Again. In here I create the lines so we can show it has two parts. This is the shape of our tiger. Then you can also darken inside of these patterns. You can color them and make them darker. So that also depends on you can also do the same for the eyebrows. You can darken them. This is our tiger, which is now complete. And by the way, we can also create some whiskers for him. In this area. This is our tiger. Can also erase these extra lines so your work would show itself better and more as always. Just because her work is very busy, our sketches very busy. You should be very careful and you might definitely erase some of the lines accidently. Bus, don't worry, you can always come back and edit them and fix them after you've erased all the extra lines and guidelines. If you have actually accidentally erased apart, you can come back and fix it. This is our final result. 6. General illustration of the second Tiger: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back again obviously than the other tutorial session. In this session, we are going to create a very cartoony tiger together. We want to see how it's done and how we can create it. For soul. As usual, I start with my character's face, which is a circle again. Then for around its face, I will consider a shape like this, which kind of looks like a triangle. I come down and I go up from this side. Then for its body, from both sides of the line that I've created, I go down. Then I bring one of them down. And I create this one down again. All right. Now for this lower part of the body, I create a corner raised line going up. And I will connect this upper part with the lower one with a straight line and a separate line. This line is also for our tiger's tail, which is going up. As you can see. Now. I'm also determining the placement of the arms and the legs. Just like that with simple simple straight lines. Both from the front I mean, both for the front and for the back. Sorry. Then I would also create this part of the arm with a very simple shape like this. Now I want to work on the other hand, again, I'll do the same with two very simple lines. I bring it down. Then the hand and the Paul would look like a rectangle and they will be placed like this. Then for the back leg, I am actually going to bring a line down the back legs. And very straight line from the back of the back leg, two or down like this. Then definitely we should also create this line so we can check if our legs and arms are in the same level. It won't be alike. One of them would be shorter or one of them would be too tall. Same thing for the other leg as well. Very, very simple shapes. I'll do this back leg as well. Again, I say, and I insist the same way that I did for the other parts. Can also consider this area a little bit thinner because it goes in perspective. Or you can do it the way I did. The most part of it is actually on the other side of the body so we cannot see it. I've just created the part where we can see these are the arms and the legs. Now I would also create two ears again, very simply as a ways it doesn't change for any part of it. Then I'll determine the placement of the nose as well. Also. I shaped this lower area with very simple shapes. Again. Now, for the patterns on the body, we do not actually want to bother ourselves too much. We try to create them as simple as we can. Even some of the lines will be placed upside down as you can see. And we are actually creating these patterns very easily. And in this cartoony shape, you don't have to bother yourself that much with the shape of the patterns as we did before for the other Tiger. Just be careful that they wouldn't be too disordered or too chaotic. But you don't have to be as careful with them as you did before. Also lay some of them on the back. Very, very simple. If you pay attention, these lines also have directions. We would not be too occupied with the lines and we just create them very simply. And the last part would be on detail. And that will be it. That's the end of it. Now, on to the next step, I'm going to add the details to my work. 7. Drawing the details of the second Tiger: Hello again. I'm back with the rest of our work on our tiger character, our second tiger character actually, and we are going to add the details to our character design. Alright, now I'm going to start from my character's face. Obviously, first of all, place eyes on the face. I wouldn't know where the eyes would be. Then the other eye would be placed a little bit behind the nose. I want the eyes to look this way. So I create the PO pills on this side of the eyes. I can show the direction of my tigers. Look. Dan, I'll add the eyebrows because as you know, it's a cartoony character. So it will have two cute thick eyebrows looking like this. Then the top part of the ears would be like this. I've and made the other ear a little bit smaller and I will darken this upper part of the ears the same way as I did for the eyebrows. Then I will create didn't Australia's for it? After that? I would work on the nose. The same way. Now. You can also create two patterns for inside of our tiger's face, like this. And you can do it for both sides. Just like that. I created lines of the face. Then for this area, I'll do the same. Now I want to work on my Tiger's mouth. First of all, I create two lines like this. Then this would be my tigers tongue. And also several lines over here. I mean, several dots over here for the whisker area. Then I'm going to shape the body lines like this. Actually, it would go on the lines that we have created before. We are moving on the lines that we've created in our primary sketch. Just like that, just as easy as that. We create our tail at its patterns. You can also darken the tip of it, the end of it, just to give it a shape. And then I would want to work on the legs that this way I will follow the lines. I would also create delayed patterns and its lines like this for my legs muscles. I will follow these patterns again. These primary sketches as well. I will create the lines, the legs, then I want to work on the arms. Like that. I continue my work. And then also determine the placement of the fingers like this. And as usual, I'll do the same arm the same way that I did for this one which is on the front. Because we're not seeing it in a complete angle. You can create your lines little bit with a specific angle. And as you can see, they're not just straight. Then I'm going to darken inside of the patterns on the face and on the body. So DAY can show themselves more because these lines are actually, these patterns are the most specific and feature of tigers. I don't have that. Well. More look like a painter. So these are the patterns on a Tigers body. Can do it with your pencil or anything that you like. It doesn't matter. Even not do it. Depends on you on how you want your tiger to be. But I'm just doing it in order to show it's better. We create all these patterns and darken them. This is our cartoony tiger, which is complete right now. And as you can see, it's very cartoony and it's a lot easier comparing to the one that we've created before. You can do either of them that you like. 8. General illustration of the Panda: Hello, all of my dearest friends, I'm back again with another tutorial session. And this sign, we are going to create a panda bear together. And we wanted to see how it's done. In just nine, we're working on a panda. Well, I start with a big shape. Create a general shape for the placement of the body. And now inside of this shape, I'll determine the placement of the other parts. First of all, I will create a circle for my panda bears head. This way. Then I will transform this general shape to an oval. Actually, you can start your work in many different ways. You can start with general shapes or you can use your circle or oval, but at the end and at last they will all become in one shape. I also determine the placement of my bears hand. My pen does hand to call it Panda from now on. Then I connect this line together. Therefore, I will create the neck for the other arm. Because it's obvious that our panda is sitting in this direction and toward this angle. Therefore, we cannot see this other hand completely. We just see parts of it. After that we've created general shape for the other arm as well. I can work on my Pandas legs which looked like this. They are chubby, little fat. I am actually creating sitting panda. We're also going to create a Panda which is a standing as well. If you wanted to do that, you should create your legs are straight. But right now I'm creating this one in a sitting position. Then I move on to create the other leg as well. Then I create an oval for its Paul. And then I will create a shape or this upper part of the lake. Alright? These are all the general shapes that I need for our body. Now I'm going to determine the placement of the ears, some parts of the body on the head. I will also determine the other ear like this created like this. And then I show the placement where I want to have my nose and mouth. And then after that I can determine the placement of the eyes. Just like this. And I am going to work on the rest of the body parts for this arm. I can also create a leaf. I can also show that this leaf is going toward the mouth and he wants to eat, it. Looks more cuter. Then. I put the other arm on this leg in this shape. Because the leg is more in front comparing to the arm and the hand. We will complete the leg from the back of the body. We come towards the leg and we bring it in front of the arm. Because again, I say this is more in front. We see this leg more completely comparing to the other parts of the body. I would also determine the placement of the fingers for the legs here. I'm just doing it again. I say in a general way, not details. Did I create a volume for Paul for the leg? Then we should bring the other leg up a little because we are comparing it to this other leg. We should bring it up a little. And this is because we want our legs to be incomplete balance. Then I will determine the placement of the fingers and the nails. And then like this, I'll create the general shape. Now in next step, I'm going to add the details to my work. 9. Drawing the details of the Panda: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back. Wheat, the details of our pound bearer. All right. I will start from my Pandas head. I'll start creating the details and complete shapes on my primary sketch. First of all, I'll create the ears, obviously. Both of them, one on this side and the other one would be on the other side of the head. Then I would also create this line for separating the inner part of the ear. Then I'm going to create the shape of the head. In a very smooth and soft way. I come down, I just create a volume over here. I make this area sharp and toured inside a little because I wanted to show that hair texture. Then I'm determining the placement of the eyes, the eyebrows, nose, and the mouth because this is a panda bear for one of the most significant features of it is this darkness around the eyes. I create a circle around the eye to darken it later. And then I create a pupils. I want my panda to look to the right. So I create the pupils in this direction. Then I'll do the same for the other eye as well. First I create this darkness, this black area around the eyes. The shape of it actually looks like glass or something like that. Then I will create my eye inside of this shape and this design. Okay? Then I'm going to create the darkness inside of, I mean, the pupil. Dan, I'm going to create than those in this shape, looking like a heart. Then I work on the nostrils. I create the nostrils. I move on to create the mouth. I create one side of the mouth going up. Looking like it's smiling. Because I want to have this leaf inside of the mouth. First I create the leaf and then I continue my mouth from above and beneath my leaf. And then with line like this, I show that my mouth is occupied eating something. Then I'll create the rest of my leaf. Leaves, actually more than one. Then I create the leaves alongside of them. Even we can create some of them looking like worms eats in them. So just to make it more realistic, make it more fun and make it more unique. This is the leaf, actually, these are the leaves which are panda is whole link. Then I come down. I want to show that our panda is really fat. I create two curved lines beneath the mouth. Like this. With another line, I will separate to face area from the neck and the rest of the body. Then I'll continue with a line for the back of the body. All come down completely. Then in this shape, I continue to lines of the leg. And defeat would also create this inner part of the leg like this. Because this leg is more in front. Comparing to all the rest of the body parts. First of all, it should be definitely bigger. The designs of the bottom of the pot are also very clear to us. I create this pattern does design for the bottom part of its Paul panda. Now, I'm going to work on the nails as well. I'll create them like this. Right next to each other on our primary sketch. Just like that very easily. Now because this leg is a little bit further and more in the back, this leg should be seen actually smaller. And I can even put some part of it behind my Pandas belly. We can also show the leg even a smaller than it is. Because this leg should be seen. Smaller and less of it should be seen. So I'll do it because we've talked about it before and it goes into perspective. Then I'll create this inner design. The foot of the Paul. The rest of the pattern goes behind the belly and we cannot see it anymore. I will also determine the placement of the nails on this leg as well as we did for the other one. Just pay attention that you should keep tuple of the nails sharp and the bottom part of them, the ending part of them, which connects them to defeat, should be very smooth and round. Denier create the twist of the leg like this. With this line. We've created this leg bigger and more clear because it's more in front and the other one goes into perspective, So it would be smaller and less clear. And we also create a nails, three of them right next to each other with very sharp tips. I want to work on this other arm of vibe handle which is holding the leaves. I turned the arm. Then I will actually show the nails over here as well. It's like it is holding these leaves with its nail is, I'm going to create them on the leaves here. I would also create another finger for the other side of their nail. Looking like this. This time we have for nails, four fingers. Then with a simple line you can show the volumes pretty well like this. Then toward inside of the body, we can add this side of the arm. Then we can also give some volume to this stem of the leaves. This is actually the lowest part of them. The lowest part of stem of the leaves. I'm going to work on this inner part of the bailee, which is going to stay white. And I also create this other arm, which we can note C completely the same procedure and the same shapes, created another curved line over here. I separate this area because this is also white. These are actually really important when you want to color your character and they can be really, really helpful for you. So that's why I'm telling you this. I can actually hatch these areas, shade these areas, and later, I can show you what do I mean? Wherever we need a darkness and black colors and wherever we need white. If you're working in black and white, It's not too important. But if you are working with colors in New York coloring, you should pay attention to these very little hints. Do this for the other leg and both arms. Both legs in both arms. Then this upper part of the body like that. So this is our panda bear character. Now I'm going to use my eraser and erase all the extra and guidelines to have a very clean result of our very cute and chubby panda bear. Again, as usual I say, do not worry about accidentally erasing some of your main lines. I mean, try not to do it, but if you accidentally done it, don't worry, you can come back again. Always. You can do this and fix your main lines. One more time. We also erase this area of the leg which we said is behind the belly, stomach. This would be our final result as a panda bear can also create a curved small line for inside of the belly. 10. General illustration of the Bear: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back again with another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create another model of panda bears together, or even another model of bursts together. This time, I create a circle for my Bears head. As this starters. I create very big oval for its body. 11. Drawing the details of the Bear: Hello to all love ideas, friends. We are continuing our work on our polar bear character. I'll start with adding the details to my bear. I started from this top part. From my ear. I'm going to create the ears like this very round and aligned for separating the inner part of the ear from the outer part. Then I created this part of the head, the top of the head. I moved toward the other ear and eye shape to head like this. And I turn it a little, bring it down right next to the eyes and go out and little to create the trick. Then I move down to the chin. Here. It actually connects the neck. I mean, our head is connecting to the neck. I would also shaped the other ear like this. Also create this line for inner part of it. Now I'm going to create my eyes. And I'm going to create them more specifically like this. And I want my character's eyes to look this way. Therefore, I create the pupil, this side of the eye. Then I move on to the other I created with the same level as I did for the other one on the other side. It just be a little bigger because it goes in perspective. Then I also create a pupil in the same direction. It's like they're both looking the same way. I mean, both eyes are looking the same way. Then I work on my burrs eyebrows. I would also create the other eyebrow in this shape. Then I will darken D eyebrows. Can also darken this line above the eye a little. Not too much. Just emphasize it on it a little. Now we want to work on the nasal area. This would be its nose, this would be the placement of its nose. Looking like this. We created easily. We also create didn't nostrils. Then I can move on to create mouth and I'm going to shape it like this. I go, I mean, I come down from the middle, then I go up to create a very beautiful smile. Then from between my two eyes, I come to this side, to this side of the face and then I connect my mouth line to this line. Then I create another line into continuous of that downward. And I will finish it in the middle of my upper part of the mouth. This would be actually my lower draw, my lower lip. Then from this lower area, I'll create a line and then I create this shape for the bottom part of our mouth. Then we also can create two very tiny yet funny teeth for our bear. Den inside of the mouth would be dark. Be better. Now, I'm going to start from the back of my bearers ear. And I go down. We can have a very rounded face. For this lower area. I bring this line toward inside of the neck. Then from the back of the neck like this remove. And we get to the bank. Actually a prominent area. Then in this part, we can use some lines and create some volumes for our bears hair texture actually. Then from this part of the back, I go to the end of the body and toward detail. Like what you see I'm doing. Determine the placement of the tail. I create the tail. From a little bit above. We come down to create the buttocks area and until we get to the back leg. As I did for here. Then again, we can use a part over here. We can actually make an extra parts over here to show the hair texture on our bearers body. Then we create the pause. As you can see. Create our just as easy as this. We also created this area with two lines because we want to show that there's a wrinkle over here for the foot or the leg. Then like that. We continue and we bring the leg up. For this area of foot. We consider this place for the bears nails actually, which would look like this. This one is closer to us, therefore, it's also smaller. Then I'm going to this area. I'll create my bearers a stomach. Then I create this opera line for my burrs. Stomach. Looking like this. This would be the top part of its stomach. They have big bellies. And we just repeat the same procedure for the leg, which is on the other side or the hand which is on the other side. We also create some lines to show the wrinkles. And at last, we will create the nails, which actually represent fingers here in these kinds of creatures. They have paws, so they have nails as well. Okay. All right. Now I want to create the arms of our bear. I start line a little bit from above. Then because we want to show that our bear's body is covered with hair. We are going to create these patterns to show the hair texture on our bird's body. As we move down the arm. Actually, it would be a shape like this with just some patterns to show the texture is better. Then for the arm area. And for the hand, for the pop. Again, I'll create some wrinkles. Dan, I created this front part of the arm. We bring it up and we make it thicker and wider. I also create a line over here just as a presenter of the volume that we have over here because it's a buried has very big and strong arms. So we should show that in our sketching and are characterizing. Then I will add two nails. I said before, I'll continue this until the last one, which is seen less and smaller actually comparing to the other ones. Deny want to create the other hand, the other arm on the other side of the body. As I said before, there are no differences does procedures are the same? I just create a very straight coronary lines downward and from the back I will have a curved line come down. I create deposit. Obviously the wrinkles on the hand. Just like the rest of them, as I said before. Then at last, I would place the nails over here. In this way. This is our polar bear this time. Maybe it's a grisly, but I like to call it a polar bear. Now, I'm going to eliminate and erase all the extra and guidelines so I can show itself as the way deserves. Because I'm sure you've created it as great as I did. I'm going to erase all these extra lines, all these guidelines. This is our polar bear character or our grizzly bear character. Much of a difference. That does is it finished. 12. General illustration of the Monkey: Hello To love my dearest friends. We're back again with another tutorial session. This time we're going to create a monkey together and we want to see how it's done. Well, monkeys are usually on top of trees. We can actually create our monkey character in a way that one of the arms will be hanging down a branch of a tree and the other arm will be loose in the air. So I'm going to start with creating a general shape for my monk his head that is going to be a circle as always. For the head area. Then I'll create, I actually add an oval to it for my Monkey's mouth. Actually create its face into parts. Then I'll determine the placement of the ears. And because monkey has a phase similar to a human, we are going to create the shape of the monkey's face, similar shape. And then we separated into parts for the general shape of my monkey's body because I wanted to show that my monkey is hanging from a tree, from a branch of the tree. Actually, I'll create the volume of the body as the shape of this oval. Then for the lower part of the body, the part which contains the buttocks, legs, and tail. I'll create another oval. Just as you can see. I'll create this arm going up and hanging from a branch, create an oval for its arm, shoulder. Then I go up and then I create another joint to arm is actually meets the elbow. I'll continue this arm area until I get to the wrist and the palm of the hand. But because our hand is holding a branch, we are going to create the fingers in a bent way. It's actually dead grab pink style. It's grabbed the branch. Right now I'm just creating general shapes, don't worry. I also create a thumb over here. Next step, I'll create the details in this area which I've created a distance. I'll create my trees branch like this. This is a branch that my monkey is hanging from. Dad. We've determined the placement of the arm. I'm going to create the other one as well, which is on this other side. It's loose and it's not hanging or grabbing anything like this. Then the wrist like that. Then I'll create the fingers and very general shape. Then later I will add details to it. Now I'm also going to create the legs. They are also on the hair because our monkey is holding is hanging from a tree branch. Therefore, even the legs are in the air and they are loose. Just like that. I'll determine the general placement of the leg. I created the other leg from the back. Then for this area, which is actually defeat, I create a general shapes. So later I can create the fingers. Monkey-like has acute Taylor, which we do it like this. We created like this. And most of the times almost always. And detail of the monkeys are turned and twisted like this. So we tried to create them the same shape. This is a general shape of our body and our monkey. And I'll create a guideline for the direction of my face. Determine the angle and the direction of my face like that. That determined the placement of the eyes like this. Then I'll determine the placement of the nose and at last the mouth. This is the general shape for our monkeys character. That in next step I'm going to add the details to it. 13. Drawing the details of the Monkey: Hello to my dearest friends. We are back with the continuous all of our work this time we are going to work on the details of our monkey character. I start from this arm hanging from the tree. All right. I will determine the placement of the fingers at first. I mean, I'll will create the fingers. I only want to create three fingers for my monkey. So this would be my first finger. Then I will create the next finger. Just come a little bit lower. And then I start my second finger because I wanted to show that it's gripping something, it's grabbing something. And then for the third one, I also again come down a little and I start lower. And I bring it down like this. Because on this finger, you can also see the nail. Create a nail on its finger because as I said, they are very similar to human. They also have nails. For the other fingers. I just created lines on each parts and eat joints of the finger. And then we are going to have our thumb, which is covering the other two fingers. And that is why we can not see the nail area on this two fingers. I create the thumb to the wrist. I created also a curved line to show the palm of the hand. Apart is behind the branch, so we can not see it. And we start from the continuous off that. And then we create our hand completely. I'm also going to create the name for my thumb because you can't see it clearly. Now, I also want to add some details to this branch that I've created. I can add some leaves. Then I can also create some lines around the branch because we want to show that this is a branch that are monkeys holding at first. And then second of all, we want to make our character more unique and more complete. I create some leaves on it and some twisted lines. Also another leaf can be placed here, this side of the branch. And this is the branch that it's holding. Now I'm going to continue the hand downward. Like this. I'm also going to create some lines in order to show the volume of the hair, some textures and patterns actually, because I wanted to show monkeys bodies covered with hair. From this side again, I come down and then I make it wider. As you can see, it's wider comparing to the wrist. The arm would definitely be wider. There are also some more lines because we want to show the difference between DRM and the rest of the body. Now I'm going to start with my monkey's head for this top part of its head. Actually going to create two parts of hair. Because again, it shows the texture and it looks way more cuter and it looks fun. Then from here I come down. I continue the same line. I twist a little toured inside. I turn toward inside a little. Dan, I get to the chin, I go back up again. And then again I go out to connect it to the line where I started. So we started from here, we created the hair, we came down, we went down and inside, over here until we got to the chin. Then from this side again we went up. I came out and outraged by starting point. This is actually. Around the face. Then I'll complete the ears. I'll create a line inside of the ear. Then. I would also create the other ear as well. Shaping it like this. Actually this year is a scene more completely comparing to the other one because this one is closer to us. Considering the direction of our monkey, the angle of our monkey. Now I want to work on this inner parts of the face. I start with placing the eyebrows on this top part of the head, this line that we've created, but on top of it. Then from here down, we go down from here. And then toward inside. Just like that. I will move on to the other parts of the face. And I go up again. What have we done? We have just created whatever we've seen for inner part of the face and we've created them very easily. I'll create my eye like this. Then I'll create this darkness inside of the eye. This way. My monkey is looking this way. Then I also create the other eye and I work on it. I also create the other eye. This way. I created the pupil in the same direction because I want my monkey to look this way. I darken the upper eyelid a little bit more. Then I move on to the nose. And I create my monkeys knows. This way. Then. I will determine the placement of the mouth. Like that. It has a very beautiful a smile as you can see. Then for the arms area. I mean, for this other arm, create these curved lines again, some hair textures on the elbow. Then use several lines to separate the wrist and the hand from the arm and the body. Then I create the fingers like this. I also create the other two fingers toward inside. Then at last I'll create the thumb to the back of my body. I move down toward the tail. Then in this area because we want to show that it's actually hair, I'm going to create several lines. As here again, I come down, I create some volumes to show the hair texture. For this part here. For its spot. Again, I create a line, a curved line. And then I'm going to create this line on the leg and then I move on to the foot. Again. I can see it's possible I will add these patterns for the hair texture. Then I will create this fingers and the lower part of the lowest part actually of the leg and the finger which is coming out. Alright. I would also determine the placement of the nails. I'm actually creating them. The other one cannot be seen because we are actually looking at the back of the finger. This would be our last leg which we created like that. Again, we will determine the placement of fingers like this. Then we create foot and we go up to complete the leg. We also create a nails that we can see which are visible to else. I create these nails as well. This is our very cute monkey character. And at last, as you know, as we always do, I'm going to use my eraser and erase all the extra and guidelines. We can see our final result in a way more better and clearer and clean airway. I erase these guidelines. Would look like this. Character is finished, just as easy as that. So this is it. This is our final result. Are very cute monkey. We should add another line to separate this inner part of our monkeys body. I mean, we can separate the chest and the stomach from the rest of the body. That's it. 14. General illustration of the Gorilla: Hello to all of my dearest friends again, I'm back with another tutorial session for you. Well, in this session we are going to create a gorilla together. Alright? Well, first of all, I'm going to start with the placement of the head. To create my gorilla. As always, I create a circle. Then for its body, I will create a bigger circle, as you can see right now. Then for the bottom part of its body, for the ending part of its body, again, I will create a shape which is more like an oval than a circle. Then I also determined the direction of my body. Actually this is the direction of my gorillas head and body. I just showed it with a line. I'm going to create a general shape for the rest of the body parts. For example. I have to create the arms which are going to look like this. Should also be big. I'm going to do this with two ovals right after each other. Then for its hand, I will create a smaller oval. And this time I'll create it horizontal. Then for the other arm, which is on the other side of the body, I'll do the same. I'll create two ovals on top of each other. But you should remember that when we want to complete our character, only half of this oval can be seen. And the risks of it is hidden for us and we cannot see it. Then I'll create a second wall. And then with a line, I determined the placement of my second hand because they have to be in the same level. Okay? Now I'll work on my gorillas legs and I'll create them as well. Because you want to determine the replacement of the legs more specifically. I will have to bring this oval little bit more inside. I put it in, it's more correct placement. Then I can start shaping my gorillas leg. After I've made my oval in the correct position. I created this leg like that. The legs obviously should be more in behind comparing to their hands. I also create another line for its direction and for its level. So I would know my legs would only continue up to here and they shouldn't come more forward. I also determine a placement for the foot. Then I go back up or the lake. Two lines. I showed the leg. Okay. Now I'll do the same for the other leg. And then again, as you can see, with another guideline, I will level my other leg, which is on the other side of the body. Looking like this. We only see a little part of this leg and the rest of it is actually behind the arms. These are the placement of the arms and legs. And now I'm going to create a part on the top of my gorillas head and then I bring it down toward the back, like this. Then I get to the gorillas back and I connect it to the back. This is a general shape for my gorillas body. Now I want to work on the details of my gorilla yet before that, even in this step, you can also complete its face a little bit more. You can determine the placement of some face parts, for example. Right now, I am going to create the eyebrows as you have seen. First of all, I'm going to determine the angle of the face, the direction of the face like that. Then I will create this upper part of the face of our part of the head actually, which is the start of the face. Now, we then align and a shape like this will determine the placement of the eyes and then we determine the eyes themselves like this. And then for the rest of the body. I'm going to work like this. I'll determine the general shapes for the face. Then this would be our gorillas ear. And obviously this would be its nose and this might be the mouth. Then for the details, we are going to move on to the next step. This is the general shape. 15. Drawing the details of the Gorilla: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are going to continue our work on our gorilla. In this step, as you all know, we are going to add the details to our work and create the shapes in there, correct. And specific placements. As usual, I start from the top of the head. Then I move down. Then for the face. I'll determine the placement of the eyebrows. I mean, I create the eyebrows with darkening them and little like this, and I shaped them Alito. Then, the same shape that we've created, the eyebrows. We are going to move down and toward inside of the face. And then from here, again, I start going out toward the ear and then I go down towards the chin. And then I'll create the ear. Distance from the face. This shape like that. We are actually showing that our ear is placed among the hair, which is covering our gorillas buzzy. Then I'll create the eyes. We also at the PO pills over here. Inside of the eyes. I darken the upper eyelid. The line on the top of the eyes. I move on to create a nose like that. Nostril should be placed here because again, nostrils are one of the most famous features of gorillas. Then I complete its mouth like that. Smiling and maybe even laughing. I'll do the lower part of the mouth as exactly as I did in my primaries sketched and I determine some teeth for it. And as small tongue, man, I darken inside of the mouth so I can separate the shapes. Then on this side of the face again, I come down, I go out and then I come down again towards the chin. For this inner part. I come down out in again. This would be the inner part of our face. And for this area I come down and I'll determine the neck. I also create another curved line for the neck to show the wrinkles and the volume over here. I can also create a small line beneath, below the mouth so we can show its chin and we can show the volume better. Alright, now I'm going to work on my gorillas arms and legs and create them as well. I'm just playing with shapes a little over here on the arms. So I worked with look more attractive and as you know, it's a gorilla, so it has a masculine body. I'm just playing with the shapes to show the muscles more and bigger. And in here, I'll create palm and the hand. I also shaped the fingers and the nails like this. Very easily. The last finger is not seen completely. Now I want to start the other arm. I come from behind the face. I come down. Then I create the arm. And again, I go on to the hand and move on to the hand and created as well with the fingers and nails. This would be the thumb and the rest of the fingers. You can see a small parts of the nails and the next finger would be completely behind. Then for the rest of my arm, I create a line. Then I create the inner part of the body. I create the chest. As I said, gorillas have lots of muscles. So I have to show it with these lines and shapes. This is his breast, which as you can see, also has muscles like the arms. And I go to the back of my gorillas body, I create this line for its back. I come down. This would be the back and the ending part of the body. Then I get to the legs. This bar dad we've created inside of the body comes from this part of the arm toward the stomach. Then we return, it goes back in. So these two lines would connect each other, but this arm is actually hiding that. Continue the leg. Like this. I also create some toes for him and some toenails. Recreate the fingers and nails. We go up from the other side of the leg and we get to beneath the stomach. And we do it as same for the other leg we created like this. And as I said before, you can only see a small part of this leg. You just see the biggest toe nail and the rest of the fingers cannot be seen completely. That's our other like. Okay. I also going to show you the parts which are in two colors. We have inside of our face and our ear. Breaths then Islamic and inside of the hands, the palms are actually lighter comparing to the other parts of the body. If you want to color it, we want to call her out character. We have to create these parts lighter comparing to the other parts. First, I'm going to erase all the extra lies and guidelines from my work. So it would be clean. I will shade some parts of my gorilla a little, would see the difference. The airways, these extra lines. Because we want our character to show itself. Do you know which lines to keep and which lines to erase? You should know that. It should just keep domain lines. You should erase all the extra and guidelines. At the end of your work. Like what I'm doing right now. You see, now our gorilla looks more complete and more clean and beautiful, more attractive. Now that it's done. First I get all the extract of the eraser off my work. Then we are going to shape the parts which are actually lighter. You would know when you want to color your character. If you want to color your character, you should color these parts that I'm shading with lighter colors. You can do it vice versa, but I'm just showing you this way because the dark parts are C. I'm going to shade the parts which are darker for you. It would be easier for you to understand. I am shading the darker parts and I'm keeping the lighter parts so you would know where and how you should color if you want to color your character. I'm just using some hatchlings. As you can say. Anything hard or special. Just shading. And I get my gorilla out of its one plain color. That's it. This is our final result. I hope you've enjoyed it. 16. General illustration of the first Raccoon: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back with another tutorial session for you. In this session, we are going to create a raccoon together and we want to see how it's done. You want to see how we can create a raccoon on a piece of paper. All right, I'm going to start with creating a general shape for my character. Then with a circle, I'll determine the placement of the head. And then with an old wall, I create the placement of the body. Just one thing about a point is that you should have started this oval from inside of the head. And oval one side of our oval goes inside. And you might even say it looks like a bean. See, it looks like a beam. We create a curve on top of it. And then I determined the placement of a tail for my raccoon. I create this shape for its tail. Has a puffy tail. Alright. This is it. Now I am going to create some more shapes for the head. I will determine the placement of the ears. Like this. I create a triangle over here. One of them would be seen completely and the other ear cannot be seen completely. The other one is on the other side of the head, so we can only see parts of it. Then determine the placement of the nose and the mouth. Shape like this because we wanted to show it's coming out of the face and it's not flat. Then I want to work on the arms, on the arms and legs. And I will create them with a general shape as well. Then I create this little Paul for him or her. Then I want to create the other arm which is on the other side of the body. You can, again start from here. Because you would know that the Rs would start in the same place. But I want this arm to come out from the back of this one. For animals zoo wanted to show that they are walking. We place one arm in the front and the other one a little bit more behind because we want to, we have to actually keep animals balance. Den with within line would determine where we can put our back legs. Now, I'm going to create a general shape for my animal leg. And then I create Paul for the leg as well. Then I move on to the other leg and I created like the arms that I've created. As you've seen. Again, one leg is more in the Hine and the other one is more in front. But again, these two should be placed in one line. They should be level. Our animal can keep complete balance. Alright. Now that we've created general shape, we have to move on to the next step, add, we are going to add the details to our raccoon. But before we do that, I can also determine the placement of the eyes. This would be the place where we can create our eyes. I mean, its eyes. This is it. Then we create the eyes inside of this area with this shape. That's it. 17. Drawing the details of the first Raccoon: Hello, friends. As you can see, we're continuing our work on our raccoon character and we are going to add the details to him. Well, as usual, we start from the top of the head, which is a little bit above the beginning of our ear. We start creating our head. This shape with a curve over here above the eye. This prominent part which it kind of gets to the eyebrow, I can say to the forehead. This area I want to create my raccoons eyebrow. As I said. It would be a little bit more prominent comparing to the other parts. Now from the side, I come down, I determine the placement of the eye. And then from this side, from behind the face, I come out a little because I wanted to show its cheek, which is covered with fur. Then with a line from the side of our I come down and I get to the jaw. This would be our nose. In the front of the jaw here. This little cute thing would be denosumab, raccoon Dan, I also create one of the nostrils. And then from behind your nose I come down. Then I turn inside. I turn and move toward inside. Then I'll create the mouth. From here. Also. I come down and out of the face. Then I turn it. I go up to shape the lower jaw, the lower lip. So my mouth would be complete. Dan, I create another line right next to the line of our lower jaw. We make the turns and we go towards the neck, and then also the rest of the body. Now, I would also create too small and little teeth for our cute raccoon. Now, for determining DI, I will move like this to determining the placement of the eye. Then I move on to the, to get to the eyebrows. Here, I'll create my second eyebrow over here. In these shapes. I'm going to create the eyes. And if you just create these shapes, I mean the eyes, the eyebrows, nose, and mouth. If you create them step-by-step, it would be really easy for you, don't worry about it. Then I create this area from the side of the face and then I move on to the neck and with several lines create a volume for my animals face. As you know, its body and its face is covered with fur. And I show, I tried to show this texture. Then I go back up to the top of the head where I began my work. Then I'm going to create the ears like this. One of them looked like this and the other one which we can see completely is going to be placed here. This shape. Then I separate the inner side of it from the other side. I also go from the edge toward inside. I can show it has some depth. Now I will create the eye, so I'll be finished with the face. Obviously, I should also create a pupil inside of the eye. I want the eyes to look this way. Therefore, I create them in this position. And I do exactly the same on the other side. The other eye. Okay, now I can move on to the body and create the back. With one line. I go back and end of the body and then the back of the leg. And also from the front I create delay, sorry, I create the arm. Then to the hand, which is actually a pall over here. Then I go back up. Also determine the placement of the fingers. And I'll do exactly the same for the other arm on the other side of the body. Fingers over here. Then this would be our stomach, which I make it more complete. The other line which separates our stomach from the rest of the body. I create the legs. This would be our first leg, which is more front to us. I make it a little thicker. This sorry, I said front to us. I meant that this leg is more closer to us. Dan, I'll determine the fingers on both legs and I'll create the other part of the leg that we can see on the other side of the body, which is not too much. Then at last, I want to work on my raccoons and completed. Again, I make it wider and thicker. Then with some curved lines, I create this strips that we have on the right Koons. Taylor. If you're paying attention, raccoons have a pattern on day or tail which look like this. This is a tail and we've also completed the rest of the body. Maybe just some small details. This inner part of the phase should also be separated. This is raccoons body, which looks like this. Now as usual, I'm going to erase the extra lines and all the guidelines that we have from our primary sketch. Our character can show itself and can pop out. This way our character would be completed. We should also keep this stripes that we've created, these patterns that we've created for the tail. Don't forget about it. I mean, don't erase them. Because we need these patterns. It's very important that when you want to erase the extra lines, you would actually figure them out and separate them from your main lines. Even if you forget a line to erase, you can see it and erase it at last. Our wherever you've erased some main lines accidently or make them lighter, you can come back and fix them again. Now for the mouth, I create another tooth on the lower jaw, and then I create its tongue over here and I'll separate it with a curved line den, I darken the rest of this space. Like this. I shade the rest of it. Then this inner part of the eye, except the eye itself, would be shaded as you've seen, one of the most significant parts in raccoons are their eyes. In this area that V, for placing the eyes, we have to shade it except the eyes themselves. Then I shade the outer parts of the ears. The nose would be shaded and for detail because it's in a stripes. We are going to shade one of them and leave one of them on colored and untouched. Then shape the next one. Again. You can actually showed a pattern that you want over here. Then you can also shade this lower part of the legs and the arms. Like what you're seeing right now. Actually shading all four paws. That's it. This is our cute little raccoon character. 18. General illustration of the second Raccoon: Hello all of my dear friends. Well, as you can see, we're back with another tutorial session. We are going to create a cartoony raccoon, so you would know how to create that as well. You might've seen this shape in lots of cartoons that include raccoons. Obviously, I started with my raccoons head like this. And then for the lower part of my raccoons face, I create a shape like this, which is wide and cute. Then I will place the ears over here, one on each side. As you can see, I'm looking at my raccoon from a front view and we can see the face completely. Then I'm going to create the eyes over here. Then this would be displacement of the nose. Then I create this shape of its body, the general shape, of course, we are going to add the details later. Then. I'm going to create the arms also in general shapes. And the other one, the other arm would be placed here. Going to create these general shapes. And then later when we want to add the details, we can also shape it completely. And at the same time we can put them in there more specific placements. Then we create two legs for our raccoon. Like this, we create a line to check the level of the legs. It should be equal. And then, well, it's not a raccoon without its beautiful big tail. So I'm going to create it here. Like it's coming, it's coming out from behind all of the body, the back of the body. These are shapes and it's a primary sketch for now. This is a general shape for my cartoony raccoon. Now in next step, I'm going to add the details to my character. I would also separate this in their part of the body, the stomach and the chest area, and also provided from the rest of the body. Now I'm going to add the details. 19. Drawing the details of the second Raccoon: Hello, My dearest friends. I'm back again with my cartoony raccoon character. And now we are in detailing phase. I started from the top of the head, maybe creating some cute hair for it because we wanted to make it cartoony and cute. I could also create the hair a little bit. Corner raise. It's not as straight as you can see. The top of its head is not as straight. I also create some hair, actually several hair on it's head. Then I create these cute ears for it. Looking like this. I would also do the same for this other ear. Then I'm going to come down. And I move on to create this area which is the placement of the eyes, includes the eyes. Determine this completely. Dan, I'm going to create the eyes. I'm going to create them circle. Then obviously the pupil inside of the eye. Like this. It already looks fun and cute, cartoony, which is actually, which was our main point. I'll create the nose like this. We create a small, light, small shine on it, on tip of it. Then we darken the rest of it. Also, we are going to darken this area that includes the eyes except the eyes themselves. Then I'm going to create this lower part of the face. And very cute and very fun. I'm going to create several lines over here to represent the fair or the hair texture on the face. I'll do it on both sides. Then I'll create my mouth. With these two lines. We are actually showing that this area is coming out of the face. It's not flat and it has some depth and volume. Then I'll create its mouth. Like this. I create only one tooth for it. Then the inner part of the mouth will be created like this. I'll darken it except tooth. Consider apart an area for beneath the mouth below it, I create a line to show the volume of the mouth better. I will complete its arms. I'll create the arms and now the hand, creating the fingers. Because our character is very cartoony. I create actually actuall fingers for it, looking like human fingers. Because it's too cartoony. And we want to exaggerate some things. We do exactly the same for this other arm and the other hand as well. Next fingers will be added and then like this, I will complete to hand and I'll create a very cute, a small curved line to show it's the palm of its hand. Then from here I move on toward inside of the body. For this area, I'm going to use several lines in these shape to show the texture which is covering its body. And at the same time, I'm showing this inner part of the body which should stay light colored if you want to color it. Dan, I move on to create the legs. This shape. Legs, cute little legs with some fingers. And the other one would be the same. The fingers as well. I go back up. This would be it. Then at last, I will create its tail. As I said before. All right, cuz have this pattern on their tails. It actually separates them from other animals. This is a very fun and cartoony fantasy comedic character of the raccoon animal. As usual, at last, you can erase all the extra lines so your character would show itself more and better and you would have a cleaner outcome which you can enjoy. Erase all the extra and all the guidelines. It is finished. This is our cartoony raccoon help. You have enjoyed it. 20. General illustration of the Lion: Hello to all of my dearest friends. We are back again. We didn't another tutorial session. In this session, we are going to create a lion together and see how it's done. Well for lion's face, I'm going to create a circle this way. Then. Inside of this circle, I'm going to add the details to my face like eyes, nose, and mouth. First of all, I'll just determined the placement of them. Generally. This would be actually the shape of my face. Then these would be my ears. He's ERs actually. Then for this part on the top of the head, we are going to create our main around his head. But they're going to add the main detailing phase. But right now we're just gridding some shapes. In order to remember that in here we should create a main. I will determine the placement of my lion's eyes. And then I would also determine the placement of the nose and mouth. These parts again, are the parts where we have our lions hair and Maine. Because we have to create very volume main and big main for our lion. It's nature of the Scripture. So we have to do it like this. I just do it as a sample right now, as a general shape and a primary sketch. But in detailing phase, I would definitely completed more. Then for my lines buddy, I will create an oval shape. Then I will add two parts for its legs. One wall which has another oval on the end of it, doing the same on the other side to another oval on this side of our lion. That again, at the end of it we'll have another oval. Because we want our legs to be in the same level. As usual. You can use a guideline to level the legs. That Alex would be the same direction and in the same level. Actually in the right direction and same level. See, when you use lighter lines, you can replace your shapes and there won't be any problems, even if you make a mistake and when you are erasing your extra lines or your mistakes, you want face any problems. Okay, now, I'll determine the placement of the hands as well. We are creating a very cute lion, and it's actually a real, very realistic lion. We are creating characters, we are doing illustration, so this should be a fun, cute lion. Now we've placed our hands and our arms. Also, we can add a tail for our lion. From this corner. It's like you can see a part of the tail coming out from the behind of the lion. This is our lion's tail. In next step, I'm going to detailing phase and I will complete my work. 21. Drawing the details of the Lion: Hello, tell of my dearest friends. I'm back with continuous all of our work on our lion character. And we are going to add the details to our lion. Alright, I'll start with the eyes and four eyes. I'm going to create two small circles to small dark circles for the pupils. Like this. Then I will work on the sides of the coming around the eyes, the edges. Then I would also determine the placement of the eyebrows. Then I will work on my lion's nose. I will complete it as well. We can also create a line for beneath the eyes, a curved line like this. Then another line coming down. And then our lion's mouth would be shaped like this with two curved lines going up. It looks like it's a smiling from the middle, from the center. I go the other way too. Now for the ears, I will complete their shapes like this. I would also create one or two lines inside of the ear. So I can show it's a volume, it's not flat, it has depth. Its shape would be more complete. I also consider another line for here, so I can also show the width of it alongside of the depth. Now, from the sides of the ear, I come down toward the bottom of the face and then I'll create some patterns and shapes and lines over here as our presenter of lions hair because we want to show that his face is also covered with hair. I create some hair patterns and textures on its cheeks and on its chin. At the bottom. Just several of them are okay. Alright. Now that we've done this, we bring the ears down a little bit more because we can cover this area which is a separated from our face. We want this, these parts to connect to each other. Now for the top of my lion's head, I would also create some more lines to show the hair and then I will go above the head to complete the main. I'll do it with several lines showing the volume of the main data we have around his head and around his face. I'll do the same for the other side as well. It would look so cute at last. I come down, I complete the shape and the volume of domain. All right, This is it. And then for my lion's body, continue this work like this. Then I only want to create some more lines in order to show that lion has also hair on its body. I mean, we want to show that even his body is covered with hair. So in order to show the textures, recreate some of them on the sides and edges of the body. And we also create several lines with Especial pattern like this to show that even inside of this body, I mean, not only on the sides, we have this hair texture. Then for the arms. Creating some hair texture, we can show that even the arms are covered with hair. And then we get to the pause. We only create three fingers. For our pause. I'll do the exactly, I'll do exactly the same for the other hand as well. Some lines that we can show. Lion has hair on its body and the texture of it is hair. Then I'll determine the placement of the pause and I'll create them. Again. I'll do the same for the legs. I mean, I will show that we have a hair texture even on the legs. Then we get to the paws, which we have on the legs. I also creates my lions fingers. Then for the bottom of the Pol, I also create three small ovals and one circle on the bottom of them. I'll do the same for the other leg as well. Just the same procedure. And everything will be over here. I'll show the pause on the leg, the bottom of it, the fingers. Then for this upper area of the Paul, I'll create three ovals as the placement of the fingers and a circle beneath them, below them. Then I will work on my lion's tail. And I will shape it like this. As it goes to the tip of the tail, it will be thinner and the lower part should be thicker where it's going to connect the body. And this actually would be the tuple of detail that I'll shape it again in a way that I can show. It's also made from hair. Alright, this is my lion character. Now I can erase the extra lines. So my lion, which it's small. Liam. Here we go. Then we'll erase all the extra lines and lines and we keep the main lines. We erased all the extra lines and guidelines. I'm sorry if I was mistaken in this. This is it. We are already finished over here. We are completing the volume of the body. You should also erase these lines which connects the body parts to the body because we are not going to show its day are separated from our body, is necessary to erase lines like this. Alright. That's it. Dressed as AZ, as you've watched. We've created a very cute cartoon, lion character. This is the result of our work. This is our clean outcome. Maybe just a little over here on the ears. That's it. It's totally complete. And wherever you lightened some lines, some main lines or erase them, you can fix them outlast. That's it.
