1. Introduction : Hi guys. My name is Peter. I am a u w for the past 60 years. Welcome to the Adobe Audition voice. If you are an absolute beginner, By the end of this course, you will be transformed from 0 to a person who can Philosophy ended any sort of audio files ranging from general audio like our YouTube video, podcasts, singing markets, voice-over, and you name it, or else if you already know the basics of Adobe Audition, you are all set to pressure based skills. Learn new techniques and level up your audio editing. Alright guys, now let us talk about the course structure. As you can see on the left side, we have several topics covering all the essentials that you guys need. Once you start off with the first topic that is understanding the interface, you start to build your foundation. And as we go along, the foundation becomes stronger and stronger. Once you understand that the interface to the different panels tools waveform, multi-track. Now it's time to create a brand new project. Once you create a project, now there's basically configure the input and the output, that is the microphone. And this because then we will talk about the multiple ways in which we can import audio files onto Adobe Audition. After that, we will record an audio and Bagger and music and make sure that all of these things sings together. Alright guys, it is time to get on another CDs things. It is time to transform your audio. That is, they are going to apply effects. We learn about the effects rack and apply powerful effects like amplitude, conversion, parametric equalizer, loudness, maximizer, and Murrell. After that, it is time to remove the bad things against the background noise. We will learn the most effective way to remove the background noise and make the audio crisp and clean. Once all that is done, we will learn to edit the singing what kills, and apply all the fact you start to Gs to make your podcast audio sound. Amazing. What's the enemy will save and export the audio. So does it guys, this is the basic core structure and we have got all these extra things that you can implement to make her audio and impactful. So that's it. I hope to see you guys soon. 2. Project Overview : Welcome to the family. Let's learn, practice and beyond to get there. Before moving on, we have got a small little project for you guys is really simple. All you have to do is apply all the things that we are going to learn and submit an audio file. Either you can make use of the sample audio files that I'm going to use throughout this course. And you can access them from the resource center. And it will be great if you could record all your Eddie Jenna audio for you and own and submit it in the project section. And guys, the feedback of everyone is really valuable. And if you could submit a review, that would have been gate as well. So that's it. Now let's get started. 3. Understanding the Interface: Hi guys, welcome to the video. And in this video we will be going through the interface of Adobe Audition. V will be talking about are the important features, tools, panels, xy and guys. Whenever you learn about a new platform, it is really important to understand that the interface, when you do that, you're basically building a foundation. And in the later part, when you are working on the platform, you will be having a seamless and smooth experience. So many basically open Adobe Audition, you will be having a screen like this. And if you don't have a screen like this, you need to go to the File option right here, click on it, click on new, and you can choose between either multi-track section or audio file, and that takes you to a screen like this. So let's understand the interface from the left side. And this particular box inside are the blue border is known as the file hosting sender. Whenever you important audio file or whenever you drag and drop an audio file. All those files can be seen right here in the file hosting section. And you can literally search for any audio file. And also you can play back the audio file right here from the file hosting centered, right, a body file hosting center. We have two different options. The first one is the waveform section and the second one, nice, so the multitrack section. And first of all, let us talk about the waveform section. So I'm going to click on the waveform button. And we have a new pop-up box right here. And you need to enter a name right here. When you enter the name, you can see a lot of different other channels and make sure that all of these are the default values. And once you enter the name, click on the OK button. And here you can see that the sender monitor has been enabled. And the monitor is, or the place inside this particular blue border right here. And this is the place where you monitor your audio file. So to make things easy, I'm going to import an audio file right now. And these audio files are provided to you in another resource center. So you can now Lord dot these aswell and I really suggest you guys to practice along with me so that you can get the maximum out of this particular course. So I'm going to drag this particular assemble always file onto my file hosting, send it. And that's it. And that either you can double-click on the audio file or realistic and drag-and-drop, but the audit file on the monitored and that basically enables the audio file to be monitored. And just as I said before, this is a place where you monitor the audio file. Starting from the top here you can see the name of the audio file, first of all, and right beneath it you can see it triggered and that the trigger has a grab handed towards the end. And then when you click and drag it towards the left, you are zooming into the timeline. And when you drag towards the right, you are zooming out of the timeline. And basically you can grab the trigger and move around the audio file last fall. And here you can see a small button towards the end and it is known as assume artful. And when I click on it, you'll be getting the entire view of your audio file. And here you can see a floating window. And this is where you can increase or decrease the volume of the audio file. And here you can see a meter. This is the decibel meter and the top audio part. This particular audio file is for the left channel and the bottom one is for the right channel. And moving to the bottom here you can see the timer and does some basic buttons like a stop, play, pause exedra. And this particular button right here is known as I'll move playback to preview and manipulate corner on this particular button, you are trigger, that is a red trigger that you can see right here will be moved to the initial or starting position of the audio file. Here we have a rewind forward the record button. So whenever you introduce recording audio, you can press on the record button and we will be talking about that in a second. Then we have the blue button that it loops the video again and again. And here we have three different options. The first option basically zooms in the ambulatory direction, and the second one is tombs out in the amplitude detection. And the next one is known as the zoom in and zoom in basically assumes onto the timeline. And the second one is zooms out of the timeline. And here we have our three different tools to demonstrate that I want to select a small part of the audio file. And here you can see we have a first-line IDs are, the red line is known as the first line. We have a sender part and we have a second line towards the end. And when I click on the first option right here that is zoomed in, in point, i will be assumed at the first, as you can see, I am getting sued under the first line of the audio file. I'm a click on the second tool that is zoomed in and out point. I'll be zoomed towards the second line, that is the end line, I'm going to click on. And the last option that is soon onto this election, I'll be zoomed into the area where I have selected. So we told Ada higher I have selected and I'm an African or the zoom into this election that selected area, I'll be sooner that particular area. So I can click on this particular option to get the entire view of the audio file. And these are the different tools that you can make you saw to get whatever you need. Whenever you need to zoom in or zoom out or zoom on to a selected data. You can use these tools. And at the bottom here you can see B half a meter. So whenever I play the audio, let me play the audio for you. You can see that the Asper, the pitch of the audio file, the level gets higher and lower and made sure that you level is between minus six towards minus toil. This is sweet point and a boat these, that is above minus x, your audio can get clipped. That means I can get a lot disk Doctor towards the viewers. And all the way to the bottom here he be how some tools. And let's talk about that in detail in the coming section. Now I'm gonna give you guys a basic idea. The first option is to announce to the spectral toward. And when I click on it here you can see a graph and a spectral dual is basically used to do remove background noise and effective planet. And that we will be using spectral graph in detail when we talk about the the noise reduction and our backdoor noise removal section. And you can basically drag from this particular bar right here and click on it and swipe up. And that basically opened up by the spectral editor or ALS. You can click on this particular button right here. And secondly Here we have the pitch character. And using this particular thing, you can basically correct the pitch of your audio file. And we also have a lot of tools right here, and you cannot access these right now because these can be accessed only in the multi-track section. And that these IRD radius saw tools and meters, features and diabetes other buttons in the waveform section. And right now let us go to the multi-track section. So let's click on the multi-track option right here, and you need to enter a session Nate. And I let all these channels may know the default value. And after that click on the OK button right here. And okay, I need to enter another name. So that's it. Click on OK. And this is the multi-track session. And the cool thing is that this is the place where you mix the audio ad effects. Basically do all those things, end up before moving on to multitrack, let me give you guys the difference between waveform and multi-track. Waveform, in my opinion, is the place where you record the audio and do some slight modifications. Like you remove the unwanted parts are just the volume. And basically in the waveform, you prepare your audio for the multi-track. And multi-track. It's a section where you basically mix the audio. You add effects like compression, collide, sir EQ, you do all those things are right here on the multi-track section. And as you can see that if we have a lot of tracks and when I play the audio, you can see that all the tracks gets played simultaneous city. And now this Esau, the multi-track view, and just like that of the waveform here we have the name, here would be have the trigger, and here we have another triggered that Dow basically works in the horizontal direction where you can control the different list that is a different tracks. You can basically click on on the trigger right here and zoom in and zoom out. So right, no anger. Now basically drag the sample file. Sam, always fall towards the multi-track and that's it. So just as I said before, I can zoom in and zoom out as well as an use a trigger to zoom into the timeline and Sumatra the timeline. And one of the important thing that I really did notice that whatever changes that you make on a multi-track will be refracted on the waveform aswell. So if you cut off a particular part right here, that will be directly reflector on the waveform. So make sure that you have this in mind. And moving on here, we have the main controls for the multi-track. So the first option, right, criteria is known as input and output. So as you can see, we have a lot of tracks. Whenever you are doing a podcast die, you will be having multiple microphones. So here you can configure multiple microphones for multiple people talking on the podcast. And that is what is the use for input and output. Secondly, we have the effect section, and this is the place where you find two new era audio files. And here we have a lot of buttons like the snapping tool and auto scroll. So let me briefly explain what is napping told before that here you can see that all of the tools are enabled. And right now we are having that time tool that either the time selection tool. So I want to cut off a small part right here, and I want to enter delete and that participants are deleted. So I need to join these two audio files together. So I need to change the tool. So I'm going to choose the move tool. You can click on the Move tool order ended the hotkey, that is V. And I want to select out the audio file and I'm going to join the two would if together. And please northeast this particular area. You can see that at a dual audio files other snapping together, it is because this damping tool is basically turned on. And when it turned off this damping too, you can see that the two audio files basically overlaps each other. So snapping tours can come handy when new basically joined two audio files together. Then we have the track name. And here you can mute the audio track. Here you can recall the order types. So when you click on, you can see that we have a level writer, this ISA, the microphone level and double-click coin. I'm going to click on the Record button right here. You can directly record on the multi-track. And moving down here you can see the oily my adjustment, this E, So the channel adjustment. And here you can see all these effects to add an effect to corner the Play button right here. And you can add any of these effects right over to your audio file. And RB will be talking about that detail in a second. And risked. Everything is just like that off the lifeform section. And everything is really easy once you get to know I bought that in a bit detail. And we have the various tools right here. We have multiple tracks right here. And here you can see the history that whenever you do something, for example, when you do an undo function that will be visible right here. And you can basically alter any of the changes by going into the history section right here. So guys, this is a basic introduction, a basic interface, our view of Adobe Audition. And I really hope you guys got a basic idea about a, what are the different tools and a lot of features are self-explanatory. You can play it on without interface and to find out a lot of things as well. So thank you for watching. Now let's move to the next video. 4. Starting a New Project: Hi guys. In this video, we will be creating a new project. A there you can create a new project from absolutely scratched, or is you can create a project from an existing project. And if you are doing so, making sure that you go to files and save your project before. In the first case, if you are to create a project from absolutely scratch, it is really easy for good two files. Click on New, and here we have two different options. The first one is multi-drug section, which we went over in the last class. Secondly, we have the audio file and that is exactly say, must adopt for the waveform. And basically I choose Museveni multi-track audio file depending on my need. You do have a symbol audio recording and I need to do some slight modifications like adjusting the volume and cutting off for the unnecessary apart. I basically start off with the audio file or ALT phi one to have a bit more control. That is, I need to mix the audio. I'd background noise or item effects. I start off with a multi-track section. So I'm going to click on and now the multiply section like No, and we have a new window. So let's enter a name. And that one of the cool thing about a multi-class section. We started out, we have templates, so we have a template for a podcast and a lot of other templates. The cool thing is that if I want to edit audio for a podcast and an Atreus template as a podcast. Adobe Audition basically replaced the multi-track folder, a podcast editing. So everything is well-organized. Nwc for airport yesterday, if you start off at the airport as template. But for making things easy for you guys will be using not emulates and let me go over it again. It is really easy to create a new project. Go to File, click on New, click on multi-track section under a name. And I let all these things be in. It's our default value and it click on OK or MCI already have another listen. So that's it. We are on the multi-track section, might know. And guys, this is how you can create a new project on Adobe Audition. And since we talked about multi-track sections in the previous video, I really hope you guys know what multi-track these walked away for me and that didn't. Now let us move to the next video. Thank you for watching. 5. Configure Input & Output: Hi guys. In this video, let's learn the configure the input that is our microphone, and the output that is our speakers. And it is really important because without the right microphone, How can we record some good sounding audio? So guys, to do that, it is really easy. First of all, go to the Adobe Audition electron right here. Click on it, and you'll be able to see an option called as preferences. And that depending on the operating system that you are using, things can change a bit, but make sure that you find up the preferences menu. And either you can click on the audio hardware right here. And so you can click on to the general option by dt here. And from this window click on or do a hotbed. Let me go through it once again. Click on Adobe Audition option, click on Preferences, click on audio hardware. And in this window, in the hardware section you can see the input and output. Basically input ESA your microphone and make sure that you have plugged in the right microphone. Unlike any other software, you'd need not restart at WDS. And when you plugged in a audio device, the moment you plugged in oder device, Adobe Audition, but recognizes it and you can choose it right here. And I'm gonna choose, I'm, I'm basically using this particular microphone right here. And secondly, can choose cellular output that can be a paid off, a headphones or speakers right here. And one thing that you only need to play with a, so the sample rate and our Don play with, Unless you are having an error, it sometimes when it choose your microphone right here, it cannot give error stating that this particular audio file or a microphone do not support assembled rate only then you can change these amble rate. For example, if your microphone do not support that this particular sample rate, that is 48 thousand, you can change it to 244,100 only do that when newer microphone provides an error. So this is how you can basically configured the input and output in Buddhism microphone. And you can choose it right here. Our parties right here, that is either you or speakers or a pair of headphones. And once you have configured your input and output, click on the OK button and you're good to go. Now you can record the audio by clicking on that record button right here. And this is how we can configure the input and the output. And you guys, trust me, as we move forward, things get more fun and you'll learn a lot cool things. And we are currently going through all the basic things that, because I want you guys to learn everything about the Adobe Audition all the way from scratch. And that's it. Thank you for watching and I'll see you on the other end. 6. How to Import Audio files: Hi guys. In this video, let's learn one of the most basic thing that is how we can import an audio file. And we went over, retired off in the interface, our view video. And right now there's land the different ways in which you can import an audio file. Basically before starting off with any project I arranged, all of my audio files are in a folded and arranged them and organize them laterally so that I don't feel confused and uncluttered awhile I start off with the project and this E, So the sample files and I can also access them. And these are available for you guys to download the resource center. And I would be really happy if you could follow along with me as well. So right now let us basically add an audio file right away to the multi-track section. So writing them in, clicking on the OK button right here. And as you can see the audio file Esau on the multi-track that ESA track number one. And then let me add another file aspects so it is really easy. Just drag and drop them to the tracks. And they automatically there'll be present on the file hosting section as well. So this is how we can drag-and-drop audio file onto the Adobe Audition platform. And this is the most easiest way in my opinion. And there is another way that you can go to file, click on Import, click on file, and it can basically choose your audio file right away from here as well. But I it is at 23 step process. Personally, I like to drag-and-drop body of wireless and they can do. And the way you like aswell, It's one thing to notice started Never import audio files or media files out of a flash drive or hard drive. Make sure that they are in other desktop so that when you unplug God, those external devices, your project won't be a lost. Makes sure that all of the media files are in the desktop so that you can access them whenever you want. So guys, this is how we can embed audio files on to audition. And I really hope you guys understood this as well. It is pretty basic. And thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next video. 7. How To Record Audio & Name Tracks: Hi guys. In this video, let's predict what an audio, and I really hope you guys how configured a microphone and your microphone is all set to record some really good audio. So to recorded audio that is go to the waveform section right here. And I really suggest you guys to go to the waveform section to record an order because you guys can see how the recording in a better view in a waveform section. And I know that you guys all figured out how we can record an audio during the interface overview section that needs, you can click on the Record button. But the cool thing is that you can also use a hotkey. And in a Mac computer it is a shift space, but are depending on the operating system that you are using or the hotkeys can effort to find out a hotkey for any button. Just place your mouse over any button and that shows up on the hotkey. So right now let's click on the Record button right here. And as you can see that my voice is getting recorded right now and asked the louder as I speak, you can see that the waves go higher. And when I talk quieter, the wave saw God down between minus 1812 and the sweet spot is between minus x2 minus told in my opinion. And towards the bottom here you can see that my microphone is slightly clipping, but I can edit that out. Is I can slightly normalize it and make it fall between minus six and minus 12. And also you can use a limiter. Why do edit the audio to limit tau URL waves going up a BO minus six, and B will be learning about data while we talk about Effects section. So guys, this is how we can now record an audio. And let me stop the recording. And again, I'll just stop it right here. And that stops recording. And we have recorded and audio in the waveform section. And also you can record the audio in the multi-track section. So now let us go to the multi-track section. And to record an audio on the multi-track section, click on the auto button right here. And here you can see a level, this ISA, the life in both gain from my microphone and multi-track recording is basically when you want to record in the Hardy, when you want to record an audio, add some background music, do some effect. That's when you use a multi-track audience. If you have multiple people talking on a live section or on a podcast, you can use the multi-track section. So let me give you guys an example to record or not multi-track unit turn on r. Now we are recording onto the first tie that is track number one. Click on art and again click on the Record button light-year or else you can enter the Horthy. And as you can see that my voice is getting recorded onto track number one, I don't know for the most amazing visual of multi-drug-resistant dark and stop recording right here. And I can record out the rest of the odor in track number two. So to do that, I need to turn off recording in a tank number one or Ailsa. It'll get recorded on both tracks. So I'll just turn on not according and track number two. And let's hit record IT. This is really cool. If you had two people are talking simultaneously that Esau, if you're having a show in a museum, How to different people, you can make use of this type, number one for one person and number two for other person. And things get organized and you can have a really smooth workflow while you edit the audio. So this is how we can record audio in both a waveform and a multitrack. It is really easy. And also you can name your track that is a crack, 1-4. Eat meat and drag UX for you. And this is how we can name the track and things will be well organized. So that's it guys. This is how we can record audio on both a waveform and multi-track. Thank you for watching, and I'll see guys without that next video. 8. Adjust the Volume & Fade Audio: Hi guys. In this video, let's learn to adjust to the polymorphism audio file as Alaska to implement the fade in and fade out effect and dies. It is really important to know the exact way in which again, to adjust to the volume of your audio file or rail is considered the situation in which the volume off while your background music is way higher than that of the voiceover, everything gets ruined, they're right there still is really important to have the exact or the advocate volume so that your audio can read in the field and in backed out of it. So right now let me drag an audio file right, to my multi-track. But it's not number one. And I'm in the multiclass section. So as you can see, we have got the audio right into the track. Let me zoom in a bit. And now we can see a and a low line right here and this Esau, the volume line. And I can click on it and I can drag it all the way to plus 15 decibel. That is the full blast off or the audio. And I can move it down around minus 8.8 discipline or else all the way down to 0. That is, this order has been muted. So this is how we can increase or decrease the volume of a new audio track and is a really easy process. Or rails, we have a smaller option right here. That is, you can actually and drag up or down to adjust the volume ASL. But I don't basically use it because you need to go all the way to the left Dart to adjust the volume. This is the most ECS Bay that again, Sibley dried up and down to adjust to the volume. Or else you can go to the waveform section right here and you can adjust the volume right here. As you can see, we have a floating window. You can click and drag up or down. You can see that. And the waveforms are contracting and expanding AS I increase and decrease the volume. And let me just play this particular audio. And we are basically providing a plus 2.7 decibel boost. So let me play the video for you. This is an unedited raw audio file and you'll be hearing this particular audio right out of my speakers. And I'd like for you guys, let's get started. So guys, this is the audio adjustment settings studies more Limoges mentally can increase or decrease the volume. And here you can enter a specific value as well. For example, if you want a specific God, it's the bill to be added to a volume. We can enter that right here as two l. So this is how we can adjust the volume both in waveform as plaza in the multi-track. Now let's learn about the fade in and fade out effect is so basically do demonstrate that. Lets basically add in a music file so that makes things more easy. And let's basically add this particular one right here. All right, we have the audio file loaded onto the multi-track. And let me zoom in right here. And let's play it right from the beginning. And you can see that there's a small gap and this cannot be basilica all the US a fade in effect. But basically you can add a fade in effect and it's really, really easy to add a fade effect, whatever do isa, you have the yellow line, this easily volume line, you need to specify your point. So in a specified point right here, and click on it, you can specify a point and you can click and drag it right all the way down. As you can see that we have made and donation towards the left bottom of this particular tribe. And no, let's hear it again. So if you wanted to have their fade in effect again, click on this dot, end up, move it further towards the right or up or down to basically alter the volume. Let's play it again. Because it'll be smooth fade in effect. And this is not for the typical way in which you can basically incorporate a fading effect. And there's also an, a debate limitless undo all these things. And as you can see that we have a small little rectangle right here. And when you keep urea most or stateside up faded. So again, click on it and drag all the way. And you can see a small current that is, the volume gets up from here and acid proceeds, the volume increases. And that is the meaning of silico. Sorry, let me play it again. So that's it. That is how we can add a fade in effect. And not both ways. That is how you can manually do it in typical, traditional fashion by adjusting the volume by audience, you can just click on this particular box that is a black and white box. And again, I get in and out based on the requirement that is how long you wonder the fared in effect to be. Or you can also add in a fade artifact and it is same as this. That is, we already have a little bit of us fade out effect right here. So the video is kind of getting faded out in its nature. And we literally click on this box NDA make F8 or defect. And I say, this is how we can incorporate a fade in and fade out the fact that your audio files, and that's it guys. This is a video in which I taught you guys how we can adjust the volume as Alaska, we can do the fade in and fade out thing. So that's it. Thank you for watching and I'll see you guys in the next video. 9. Splitting and Editing Techniques: Hi guys. In this video, let's learn some basic audio editing techniques like splitting, cutting, etc. So to make things easier, now let's add an audio file onto the track. Is there you can add it from another folder or Ailsa. If you have the audio file on the file hosting center, you can basically drag it onto the multi-track and now be how they would do all file on the multi-track. And you cannot just a view by adjusting the trigger right here. So first of all, let us say here this particular audio file there was featured in this course. Let's practice the art of audio editing. Let's get started. So guys, this is the audio file, and as you can see that in the beginning we have a clicking sound. So first of all, let's remove that particular part. To remove that begins on the first of all, we need to change the tool. Right now we are having the Move tool. So let us due to the Eraser tool right here. And as you can see that the cursor has changed to that of eraser shape and that this is the likings on part. So I'm gonna select the endpoint for the clicking sound. And as you'll see that it'll be two has been split into two different half and, uh, now I deleted the first half to delete the first IF I change my tool to view also removed. So I want to be on my keyboard that is a hotkey and the cursor changes to that often the Move tool. And I can delete the first part and I can join the audio file towards left. And this is how we can split and delete a part of your audio file and that there's an even easier way in which you can do that. So I'm going to undo that. And that's easy. That's when I move my cursor towards the end of the video. You can see that because so changes to that alpha d, a red light, and double-click on it. And when I move it towards the right, you can see that the order of file is getting revered and revealed. So I can basically remove the clicking sound, this EC and again, move it out towards the left. And this is also a really easy way in which you're gonna cut off any unwanted part. And this is basically applicable in a little bit of small space or your audio files I that in the end positions. And this comes handy. So now be learned how we can split and delete the audio files. And sometimes it is really difficult to always go to the tool and selected the razor to LA, to cut off or split a particular part of the audio. And that's the way tool comes in handy. And you can activate a split dual by hitting the command. And K hotkey, for example, I want to split the audio right here, and I'm going to bring my trigger right here. And I want to enter command and k Or else if you are on a Windows PC, you can enter Control and cake. And as you can see that the order has been split into two different half. And this is another way in which you can basically split your audio file into two different half. I guys, also you can copy and paste your audio files. For example, I'm gonna right-click on this particular audio file. And we have a lot of options and we have the Copy option that he saw. It. They can they can go Peoria in Delhi hotkey, that is Command C for my computer or Control-C for a Windows PC. So I'm gonna copy it and I'm gonna select my destination and diamond under command V to paste it. And this is how we can copy and paste. Or else if you want to cut off an audio file, you can basically click on the audio file that you want to put, right-click and cut it off. It basically removes the audit file, but still the audio file is in the memory of the computer. So this is how we can split and a paste audio files on audition. And now this can come handy as you will go with the bigger projects. And this is basically the foundation in which you remove and wonder parts, deleted some basic parts. So basically towards end of the audio file that you can see that we have a little bit of a part that is blind. So I can literally go to the are basically drag this particular end insight and that byte will be removed. So this is the basic splitting guarding under all sorts of pasting our procedure. And that's it. That's also really basic got glass and are known. Let us move to the next video and I'll see you there. Thanks for watching. 10. Adding Background Music & Sound Effects: Hi guys. In this video, let's learn to add a Bagger domestic US Vlassa, how they manipulated the background music so that now the main ordeal and the background music or kind of stinks together and Arabi I having a really good sounding audio. Moreover, let us also learn how you can basically effectively implement a sound effect so that you can basically end gauge the audience as well. And we'll learn all these things are in this particular video class before all these LED. So basically embodied Sama media files in there. You can make use of the provided resource, audio files, or you can basically record an audio of your own. Either of these can be your choice. So let's basically add in dissembled voice, but I have the file hosting center. All right, we have the sampling voiceover In attract number one, and let's add a background music as well towards attack number two. Now we have these two audio tracks on track number one and number two. And number one, nice name does voiceover and Talk Number two is named as background music, and that is not necessary to name them independently. And I personally like God, do stay organized with the all these drugs so that it is much easier to work with bigger and longer files. Now there's basically play back the audio and make sure that you remember. As I said before in my interface, our review video, when you play and ordering a multi-track, all the products are played simultaneously. The desert, let's play this audio. And right away you can hear that now the background music is way high in a volume. So let's select the background music audio file, and I'm in the Move tool, let's click on or the volume line right here. And I'm going to drag it down at least at two minus ten decibels. And let's play back. The audio is still high in all IAM, so let's move it a bit more down. Hi guys. A bit more known. There was featured. All right, now it kind of seems together and I will also remove the clicking sound at the beginning part of the voiceover. Hi. So let's are basically hide that part by using this particular technique and let us move it to the left side. And no, it sounds like there was featured far better in my opinion. There was Peter, also known as a fade in effect to the migrant music. And are you guys can notice psi dot v I basically building all the things that we learned in the previous video together that would be basically removed the clicking sound by hiding it now via basically implementing the fade in effect. And we're kind of using all the things that we have learned in the previous albedo sections or as we proceed further beta newer and more complex topics. And the right notice basically implemented a fade in effect and that the most easiest way is to use the square. I can write it as click on it and drag it towards the right. And I'm keeping it in a position where this particular voice always starts and the fading effect basically ends. And the audio that he said about your music will be in full blast when this particular section is reached. So let's play back the audio. Hi guys. So I'm going to slightly decrease the OISE, Saudi, Saudi. Background. Music volume. Hi guys. Feature. Now it feels fire by two, so that the voiceover, the voice and the voice over can be heard bit more clearly. And this particular curve indicates that the initial position, the volume will be lower. And as it proceeds, the volume over the background music slightly builds up. And this is the basic background music audition and a slight manipulation. And it isn't necessary to make any changes. Any effects to the background music. It is almost up by law, edited as it comes out of the production of the migrant MRC sender. Now there's basically implemented the sound effects so that you can basically grab the attention of the audience in certain areas and notice through that right now let me give you an example on how you can basically add a sound effect. So first of all, let's add assemble voice right on the track number one, that is a voiceover Jack. And now let's basically a defect and I can basically access it from the Resource Center has always. I'm going to add it to track number two. So I'm going to basically rename it as sound effects. Alright? No. Basically these effects start did not match with my voice over and I'm doing it for the sake of explanation. And let me just choose this particular second sound effect. And I wanted to saw the item selection tool right here. And I want to select the second sound effect right here. And I'm going to enter command and X to cut it off. Then I want to enter V to choose the move tool, selecting the first audio file, deleting it, set a second one really did. Alright. Now I'm planning to basically also before that, let me paste Tao, the copied or cut sound effect right here. And I'm going to mute it by clicking on the button. So I'm going to basically add at least one defect right here. So what I'm gonna do is there is a little bit of a blank space right here. So I'm going to bring the trigger right here and I want to enter command and k. And we have got to split right here and coming to this point. And I want to again under combined and K silicon, the sender ocean and I want to hit delete and that portion is gone. Now I'm going to move this particular part oversaw the right so that I can accommodate this particular sound effect right there. And that basically brings all these things together. And now let's basically play back the audio, the video editing. Let's get started. This is a small example or no Havi can basically add a sound effect. And there are a lot of different ways in which you can effectively and Maurya, beautifully integrate sound effects or on your voiceover and basically someone defect time, grab the attention of the audience. For example, if you are having YouTube video and if you want to show the subscriber local eddies or if you want you people to subscribe and us showing a subscribe button on the screen, you can basically put a small beep sound. And I basically makes all your audience Aw, that basically owns your audience's attention to that of the Subscribe button popping up. And this is how we can effectively implement the sound effect. And that's it. Thank you for watching, and I'll see you guys in the next video. 11. Understanding Effects Rack: Hi guys. In this video we will be talking about the effects, right? And previously during the interface overview video, be slightly bent over it. But right now let's dig a bit deeper on with effect cracked section. And effect racked is a place where we add multiple effects so that I would be having a direct impact on, on the audio file. And right now I am another multi-track section. And as you can see that we have got the effect rag right here. And let me just zoom in. And this idea that different effect rack and my default, I'll do multitask will be set to the input and output section and click on the Effects button to reveal the effect racks. So right now let me just drag and drop a sample voiceover fine, onto the track number 12. Basically add an effect. You need to click on the play button right here, click on it. And at this reveals the list of all the different available law effects. Starting off, we have got the the amplitude and compression delay and eco filter and eat you modulation, noise reduction and restoration, reverb, spatial stdio masonry, I am N-bits and we won't be using oil, low-fat, these effects, but we will be talking about the important endowed in most useful effects, starting off with the amplitude and compression, using the amplify effect, we can basically increase or the loudness of your audio file. And also we have got the hard limiter. Basically, you singly mature, you can limit the decibel range of volume or audio file. For example, if I set the limits to be minus six decibel, that limited won't allow the audio file to go a body minus x decibel range, so that these are the use of a delimiter. We have got our delay and ego. So delay and decoys known, basically used in almost all situations. And the words are self-explanatory. That moving down we have got now filtered and dequeue. We will be using the parametric equalizer in a second. Then we have got to modulation and demodulation. We have got a chorus. Chorus gives a really good sounding effect for voiceover, especially moving down, we have got other noise reduction on restoration. And this is a really destructive manner to remove any sort of background noise, white noise, or audience, any fuzzy noise that is happening in the background. Moving down, we have got the reverb and also space shuttle specially losing spatial. We can enhance the vocals as nasa mastering gambit and for music files, we have got now stereo imagery and diamond beach. So let's start off with filter and dequeue, infiltrated and dequeue. Let's go to Item into Equalizer. Right here we have got a new pop-up window. And in the freezer section we can see multiple presets. And these can come in really handy. Whether you are doing a walkable enhance or adapt vocals, or if you wanted to do some sort of acoustic guitar. These are presets and can work really effectively. And right now let's basically add a walkable enhancer and write a vacancy that the graph has changed a lot at the word left to go to master again, in the bottom, we have gone into the Hertz condo and I don't basically play it on with all the subgraph because the presets are well optimized and can provide maximum output. So right now, let's up play this particular audio and I'll show you that that department equalizer has been set and rank number one for effects have been occupied by the parametric equalizer dried? No, let's hit the Play button and let me just to increase my volume. And let us up playback. Sorry. Hi guys. My name is Peter. And in this course, let's practice and moisture the audio editing. Because chartered, and as you see that while I basically learned, often turned on the parametric equalizer UV had a difference in the audio and the vocal enhancers slightly provided a boost in the audio. And the data can be directly visible asphalt and you can basically for layered on with all these sort of different presets audience, you can slightly adjust any of these graph, that is the curves on the graph. But I don't really suggest you guys to change any of these because I can really mess up the audio. Now the professors are really good and doesn't do that. They'll be hovered direct impact on the audio and the overall, the audio has a bit boost towards it. And this is how we can basically incorporate an effect. And that we will be talking in detail about the compression. I am stretch and amplification in the next section. And I said this was a basic introduction to the effect drag and how we can basically add an effect. So that's it. I'll see you guys in the next video. Until then, bye. 12. Amplitude: Hi guys, welcome to the video in which we will be talking about amplification. And in this video class we will learn how we can effectively implement amplification to your audio files and mourn over what is amplification. So basically by new ad and amplified effect to any of your audio file. And the audio file basically gets a boost it so that it can be played back in a way higher volume before making your audio's sounding weird. So that is basically a basic introduction to a basic definition for the amplification. So to make things more clear right now I'm going to add assemble voice file to my multi-track. All right, now let me zoom in a bit. So I am in my effect rat section and I'm going to click on the play button right here, going to amplitude and compression section. Then I'm going to click on the amplifier option and we have got a new pop-up window. And the cool and most amazing thing about the Adobe Audition applied from inside Dhabi half word presets and the preset section we have got a multiple boost and got options. So basically, if you click on another six decibel boost, the audio file will be boosted in a plus six listable boost manner. That means your audio will become louder and asks you go higher, the audio will become louder and louder. So to give an example, I'm going to add a plus ten decibel boost to my audio. And as usually lidar, all these parameters have changed accordingly. That is an decimals and decimals to both the left and right channel. So right, no, let's play back the audio file. Hi guys, my name is Peter. Practice. And as you see that, that the impact of the amplification may not earn it often turned it on. You heard that the difference, it is really effective and that symbol Ligand directly go to the amplification. So I have already added the amplifier. I cheer, and it is visible in the first rack. I can double-click it to edit it. And you can directly go here and basically add the boost that you want. And you can play around with the different settings and to find out are the effective or the most appropriate boost or an amplification that you want or rails, you can also add another effect. That is you can click on the play button, go to amplitude and conversion. We also have a dynamic processing and this is also really effective. That is, if you go to presets, we have a lot of presets. You have good presets for LDA voiceover. If you wanted to make your voiceover epic more impactfully, can basically choose the voice, our piece it, we have got walker limiter and various other pieces that he can play airborne Landau find out. So these are the different presets and effect that you can implement that to make an audio amplifier in a better manner. And one thing that I want to talk about, ESA, the amplitude statistics. So if you go to wave form and click on the window option right here, we have got amplitude statistics. Let's click on it. And right here on the left side you can see that scan option is available. Let's click on the scan option right here. And at this particular audio tag that is r, the audio track in the monitor that is elected on the monetary is getting scanned and Asics it, there'll be various parameters like that of the peak amplitude. The peak amplitude, all of these things can be visible and that these are not that useful in a daily basis. So if you are on do a production company, they might ask God to send the statistics. Uh, you know now how to send the, the statistics is really see what the windows on the corner amplitude statistics and it will be directly visible on your file hosting centered. So this is how we again now basically find out the statistics off all your amplitude to find out the higher peak and various other parameters. And that's it guys. This is how the amplification middle-class. And I really hope you guys find out how you could effectively implement the amplification to your audio file. And that's it. I'll see guys in the next video. Thank you for watching. 13. Compression: Hi guys. In this video, let's learn to use the combinatory and make our audience on more powerful and impactful. So right now let me drag an audio file directly onto my multi-track. So the first step is to normalize or the audio. So right now I'm gonna click corner the audio track that is double-click on the order track. And that directly takes me to the waveform section. Once you are in another way from section and click on the favorite option from the tool bar and here against the multiple normalization values, that is how we have minus 0.01. distributed as well as a minus three decibel. And we will be using the minus three decimal normalizer. So click on it. And that's actually like to be hovered direct impact on the audio. The normalizer basically captures the highest peak and at the lowest pKa of your audio file. And it kind of makes it consistent so that now you will be having a smooth flow throughout the order file. We won't be having that data high peaks, so that makes the audio a lot more distracting. Everything will be consistent and smooth in a really easy and smooth flowing manner. And that ESA the use of a normalizer. And once you have applied a normalizer, Now let's go back to multitask and it's time for the compressor to be applied. So let's click on the play button right here and go to amplitude and compression section. And here b, how multiple compressor battalion most effective and easy to demonstrate compressor E. So the two mould or compressor. So I'm gonna click on that. And that basically brings up a new pop-up window right here. Let's start off with the presets. So I'm gonna click corner the preset options. And here we have multiple precess, like a voice old presets, voice thickness presets, radial leveler, a lot of pieces. And let's basically apply a voice or a preset and play back the audio file right away. And let's play the audio. Right as you see that at the compressor is really powerful. And I know we heard the preset, that is voice-over preset. Now let's basically under some specific values and then let the release me a 100 millisecond and let us change that back to two. And the threshold and what is threshold and digest assets had referred threshold is limited and the current limiter is minus extremely stable. That is, the limited one. Unload the audio file to go a BO minus extinct decibel that Esau, every decibel A0 minus x will be brought below minus extensible. So let's change that to minus six. And in this case, all those sounds that is above minus six visible will be brought below minus six decibels. And that, that is a really sweet spot in my opinion. And now let's play back the audio again. Hi guys. My name is featured in this course. And asic TNC that dao, the audio was kind of kept between minus 12 and minus six. And this is the impact and the power of the compressor. And you can make your audio sound a bit more impactful. And our compressor is not only the fact that again, maker audio sound more interesting, there are a lot of other factors which we will be talking about in a second and compressors and really would audition that can make your audio EBIT more impactful to your audience. And that is a Menus of your compressor. And if you are a person who do not have a lot of a base DOS, you can basically make use of compressor and make it a bit basi aswell. So guys, this was Saudi middle-class or not competency. And now let us move to the next class. Thank you for watching. 14. Magical Time Stretching: Hi guys. In this video, let's talk about mono for the amazing features of Adobe Audition, and it is known as time stretching. So guys, what is time stretching? I am stretching is a tool that you can use to make your audio file last long and winded typically maker audio file last longer. Your order will sound like a robot, but are using time searching, you can avoid that. And what is the technicality behind I'm stretching. So when they use time stretching and the wind is stretch your audio file, the pitch of your audio file will stay constant. And with that, your audience won't sound like that of a robot. And that is a cool feature of these stretching function. And that is what makes other time stretching feature really different from that of the typical feature. So right now let us see how we can make use of the time stretching feature. So let me drag a file to the multi-track and a right here near to that offer the snapping function, you will be having the oval blob belt clip stretching. I can click on that and please note these are the right corner of this particular type of 60 that when I turn it on, we have a small white triangle. And this is the ion stretching tool. But if they're using the Adobe CC or a later version, you will be having the white triangle by default. And all you have to do is just click and drag on this particular white triangle. Before that, let us play back the original audio feature. All right, now let's click on the white triangle and drag it towards the right to make it longer. And as xy data y la, movie tickets to the person days increasing and our don't go all the way to two hundred, three hundred. That is even in the mid-fourth time stretching. If you go beyond that, your audio would sound miserable. So let's keep it around one N15 and unless play back the audio. So let's make it even longer and see what is the effect. So we're writer on the 140 endless play back the audio again. Hi guys. And in this course, as you can see that the longer you go, the order kind of don't feel that natural. Make it even faster by going to left us well, so this is basically the time stretching tool. And now you can also make use the time-stepping rule for a background music. For example, if you want a particular part of your Baghdad music, The last longer, you can cut alpha a certain part and I can time stretch it. Right now let's add a someone defect density. How effective is the I'm stretching tool. All right, we have got a sound effect right on the multi-track and let me cut it off right here and let us choose a small part of it. And let's delete the rest of the sound effect and all right, let's hear it from the initial point. Now let us try and stretch it. So clicking on the white triangle and I want to stretch it almost to 150% data. And let's hear the stretched or do you? And as you can see that this, I wonder if it is also kind of effective by using the time stretching toward, although this ISA, the effective implementation of what I am restricting dual. And I really hope you guys got a basic idea about how we can implement this particular tool as well. So that's it, guys. I'll see you guys in the next video until then. Bye. Thank you for watching. 15. Editing Out Breaths, Clicks and Pops: Hi guys. In this video, let's record an audio and delete all the unwanted sounds like a clicking sound, breathing zone, Bob's xy. So right now let's go to the waveform section and let me delete alpha from here. And let's click on the Record button right here, and let us start recording. Hi guys, my name is Peter, and I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. Please let me know in the previous section what you guys think about that the boys. Thank you. And that was that according And I know that there wasn't a lot of artificial clicking NDA sniffling sound. And let's make all these clay. And first of all, you can see that all the peaks are all around the place. So let's go to Favorites and normalize it to minus three decibels. Or right now we have everything in a more consistent manner. So let's play back the audio festival. Hi guys, my name is Peter, and I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. Please let me know in the reception of what you guys think of war to the coils. And as you can see that we have a lot of unwanted noise right here. First of all, let's delete the clicking sound right here. So I'm going to highlight the clicking sound and right-clicking and B have an option called nasa silence. Click on it and at that particular part is being silenced. And let's play back again. Or light. We also have a sniffling zone. So let's highlight it then right click and a silence it as well. So we have a really smooth starting point. And here you can see that we have a lot of blank space more than a second. So let's delete a little bit of a blank space. Let's play our Hi guys. My name is Peter. Alright, we also have another sniffling zone right here. So let's right-click and silence it. And silencing is a more ECN foss vs, rather than splitting the ordeal and deleting it asylums can make things more easy and fast. So let's play that again. And I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. Alright, we have another one right here. And k, no, let's silence it. Please let me know what you guys think awarded the cores. And that's the last one. Now we have got a release mood and sniffed will free OR DO In my opinion. So let's play back it from the beginning, guys. My name is Peter, and I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. Please let me know in the review section of what you guys think Award or the cores. Thank you. Know, we have a lot of space right here, so it's highlighted and I wonder MN and X to cut it off so that blank spaces removed aswell. So guys, this is how basically you can cut off a small unwanted noise like a popes clicks, etc. Modern legal use, the silence saw dual regime or law, the unwanted noise a bit. Nordau doing a lot of work like splitting, cutting, etc. You can use silence to lend out things are more easy right there. So that's it guys. This was a really basic laws in which I taught you guys how you can effectively make use of for this island stool. And that's it. I'll see guys solve it next class. 16. Make Vocals Sound Better with EQ: Hi guys. In this video, let's make the vocal sound amazing. And I'm sure that by the end of this particular visa class, you can transform your audio to another level. So first of all, let's drag and voice file to track number one in the multi-track section. And let's go to the effect rat and click on the play button. And let's go to Filter and EQ. And in the section, click on the parametric equalizer. Let's go to the presets and to a loudness maximizer for civil, and let everything be in its default parameters. So once the first effect has been added, less CO2, second rack and click on the play button again, go to filter down Dequeue again, choose parametric equalizer. Let us go into presets and choose a vocal enhancer. And I can see the way the graph has been put together. Let tau the frequency again and all these things be in, it's our default atom. It is because as I already said, all these presets are well optimized to provide some really good output. And let that be here, and let us now play back this particular audio. So let me just delete this blank space right here, and let's play from the beginning. So first of all, let's turn the effects often it's playback guys. My name is Peter, and I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. My name is Peter, and I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. Please let me know in the previous section what you guys think Award or the coils. All right, now let's turn on the effects and see the output. Hi guys, my name is Peter, and I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. Please let me know in the previous section of what you guys think Award already be having a lot of presence in the audio. And I'm going to provide you guys with another. This is a really awkward is that you can implement. So let's again go to the effects, and let's go to spatial right here. And let's go to local enhancer from here. And the cool thing is that depending on who you are, you can choose between a male or female. And I'm amazed, ironically can made and this gan now slightly boost the audios or display it again. Hi guys, my name is Peter, and I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. Please let me know in the review section of what you guys think are water, they are light, the McClinton, So it's providing a little bit of a boost or not, do an extreme level. Still it is having an effect on its own. So guys, this is a really good stack that you, that you can implement that do provide a boost and embed your ordeal, especially do any sort of voice-over narration. So that's it guys. This was a video in which we went over some cool effects are provided now, some presence and batsmen Assad to add audio and acted as he goes on to the next one. Thank you for watching. 17. Reducing Background Noise & Spectral Editing: Hi guys. Welcome to the video in which we are going to remove the background noise of our audio file. And background noise removal is a vital part in any audio editing process. And I don't promise that tau, we can remove all the background noise. Sometimes E for the background noise is way higher up in volume it and be a bit difficult to remove the background noise by Raza if the Bagger noise is low on volume, it can be quite easy to remove that as well. Right now, I have got an audio file or ready to be edited or my multi-track. So let's click on the play button right here on the effect track and go to noise reduction and restoration. And let's click on adaptive noise reduction. And we have got a new window right here. So let's go to the presets and as you can see, we have got light noise reduction, heavy noise reduction, the reverb single-source. So let's start off with a light noise reduction. And the only thing that I preferred to all 0s. So they reduce noise by and make sure that you don't go all the way to 30 or 35, that it can make your audio sound a lot. So right now let's basically play back the audio with the light noise reduction effect applied. And let's play back the audio. Hi guys. Going through the section which we are learning how again, shielded background noise. Let's learn how to effectively. Because you're still we can hear a little bit of a background noise. So I'm going to change it to heavy noise reduction. And let's play back the audio again. Guys, going through the section which we are learning how again, she loaded background noise. Let's learn how we get our light. If you notice here you can see that in the initial blank space, how the background noise can be still hurt. But now when I basically changed the pisa too heavy noise prediction during the main voiceover, I can barely hear the background noise. So that's a really cool. And I'm going to slightly increase or the no, reduce noise by two, slightly over 25. And let's play back the audio again and see if there's any difference. Hi guys. We are going through the section which we are learning how again, shielded background noise. Let's learn how effectively are right? We have a slight improvement even notice this particular area here. We don't have a sort of background noise and that this was an artificial background noise are created by me and the background noise was the uniform. And if you compare the initial portion where the voiceover is blank, and if you just look over in the intermediate section, you can see that the background noise has been completely removed when compare to that now for the initial state. So I can say that. Noise reduction that comes with Adobe Audition is fairly powerful to remove all these kind of smaller della, background noise. If you're having a really high or you're a background noise that is really higher up in the early, it can be a bit difficult to remove that. So ice right now let's learn an even more effective manner in which you can remove the background noise. And this can be more effective if you are having a constant background noise throughout your audio file. And this is particularly the RBI having someone buyer noise. As you can see that the waves are moving up and down. And let's play back this particularly right now. And as excited we are having some movement as the level indicates. So the first thing that we are going to do is that we are going to select this particular NDI pipe. So a really good practice before recording an order is that you need to be Sidon for almost four seconds so that the microphone can capture all the background noise and asking if you'd like to be having a 4 second silence and the microphone captured all the background noise and right, no, I selected that NDI background noise part. Then we are going to affect critical noise protection and restoration, sorry, no isolation and restoration. Click on capture noise point, and this basically captures the background noise and this electrode area. So the second step is to select the NDI audio clip. Again, go to effects, silicone noise reduction and restoration. Again, 2s noise reduction process. And click on Upload right here. And as you see that the entire bag or noise has been completely removed. Nber having a fresh and macro noise-free order, right note, so this is also a really impactful and easy manner to remove the background noise. And as he says that we are having a minimal bag or noise and everything is beautiful. I really hope you guys are enjoying the course. And the audio quality is also not affected at all. And this is a really effective manner in which you can remove the background noise aswell. And let me show you guys spectral editing aswell to enable speculated dinner, it's good to waveform and either you can click on this particular bottom, drag it all the way up audience. You can click on this particular icon right there. So what is spectral editing? Basically, if you wanted to get a lot deeper into these are background noise removal are spectral. Gadhafi's a place where you need to look for, and these are dark and lowest colour is a place where we have a Audi with high pitch. And if in obese here we can see that we are having some sort of a little bit of a background noise. And that's why it is a little bit of alloys and tradition color and that the main yellowish color is a place where the order is rich in a pit. And that's basically the voiceover in our team. And if you zoom in here, you can see that we are having a little bit of a background noise in and around. And this can come in handy when you need to remove the noise and white noise and the bag alone. This can come in handy, but only if you need to get that deep into noise advection, this can come really helpful. But in most of the cases you can make use of the precepts and that agenda basically told the issue. So this is the basic got noise reduction and background noise removal, PD applause. And I really hope you guys are founder to aid music and remove the backdoor noise off it audio file. And that's it. I'll see guys are next video. Thank you for watching. 18. Remove Vocal: Hi guys. In this video, let's learn to remove walkers out of a music. And this can come in handy when you're like a backdoor music and lead us, you don't like the walkers in it. And this can be applicable in such a situation. So right now I have got an order phyla like cheered on my multi-track. And the first of all, let's play back the audio. All right, this is the heavily mixed dot audio. And now let's try to remove the walkers out of this particular audio. So all I have to do is click on the play like weather night here. Got to know as Tito imagery and click on center channel extracted. And we have got a new window right here. And let's go to pieces and 2s vocal remove. And let's play back the audio, right? No. Or ideally guilty that they want, but it's kind of I've faded or light back laying track, but it's still ligands lively here at it. And as always, it is no lipophilic. But still if you wanted to go even deeper, let's decrease the descender channel level all the way to minus 48. And this slightly Do we know the audio, but still it can remove the vocals in a pretty hard manner. Now I can barely say that that's an opal. So like now the music I know of is lagging, in my opinion, if you go all the way till minus 48 and it was, again, are just are the side channel levels tweak it so that you don't feel like there's an immortal. But this can really come in handy if you want to remove the walkers and everyday nerdy background music. And I really hope that this can come in handy. Inserted situations are integrated, so that's it. I just want informed me you guys ESA feature like this in which you can remove the workloads out over a music. So that's it. I'll see you guys in the next video. Thank you for watching. 19. Setting Up a Music Project: Hi guys, it is time to edit some music. So right now we are going to start off with a room music editing process. So first of all, let's start off with the creating a brand new project. So lets go to File in the tool bar, click on it, and move to the new section. And let's create a multi-track section. And as always, we have gotten new pop-up window and lead named decision or some music. Alright, now we need to choose a template. And in this case, it will be to sing the 24-track music session. And we will be having 24 different tracks. And let's click on the OK button. And we have got only four different tracks on the multi-track. And I didn't know any more than to use all these 24. But individually, we will be having the flexibility to add multiple instruments on multiple tracks and everything can work flawlessly. So right, they'll be made a 24-track musician. And in the next video, let us basically start off with the editing process. And I'll see you there. 20. Edit Singing Vocals: Hi guys. In this video, let's edit a vocal. And if you guys are good at singing, You're all good to record your own local file. And you guys will also have the privilege to edit your own work as well. And other people like me who don't know how to sing Yan get OneNote file from online. And right now I'm going to drag my vocal file to the multi-track. And first of all, let's play back this particular audio. So guys, the first thing that I can learn, easiest data, we are having a lot of free space in between. And basically I want to add any code that can go around and fill up all these a blank space. So let's start with that. And I'm gonna click on the first track and we will be adding a factor, the first rack first of all. And that's good to delay and ego and 2s eco from here. And from the precept section, let's choose stereo vocals and steel workers won't be that effective to provide a beautiful eco. For example, I'm going to play back the audio and you can hear it by yourself. The ACO is too strong and it's kind of going up and down. So I'm gonna make some slight tweaks here and there. You can literally play around with these controllers and find the right ICO that you want. And previously I did so undying nor our values that I need to put right now. Alright, now I'm done with all of these are alteration known as playback it again from the beginning. Tell me they see or light here you can see that the boys kind of filling up all these blank spaces. This is the first thing that I did and it is not that necessary to Ivory Coast inside, I've found a lot of our blank space. I decided to add a Nico. And if you are having a lot of background noise in your vocals, you know how to do that is you can literally eyelid noise reduction effect and that can be removed as well. So right now we are going to add another effect. That is, let's click on the play button right here, but it's spatial and add a mastering. And in the pisa section, we have multiple presets and one of the best preset 4A, vocal, ESA, the bright hype. And I can see the way the curve is designed, but I'm going to make some more changes here as well. So first of all, let's play back the audio. So let me write down the audience are kind of going up. So I brought back this particular curve down and die basically brought some depth to the audio, please. Alright, we have done with the mastering effect. I literally, what I did was I choose the bright high precedence, made some slight tweaks here, and let's play back the audio from the beginning. You invite ever hear that there's a lot of presents for your the Yoda right now with the ego and the mastering effect. This is how you basically can enhance and OCl. And we did not do a lot of effects. We basically added mastering that these are the main part of the audio editing. And that basically boosted the audio and give a lot of residents and presents to the audio. And there's a lot of different ways in which you can make it even better. And since it is a basic editing class, does this really sufficient to make the audio sound even better than that of the raw audio. And that's it guys are in the coming class, or let's learn how we can make some background music and various other tricks to make her vocal sound even better. And I'll see you there. 21. Mixing Vocals with Music: Hi guys. In this video, let's mix the main vocal and a backdoor and Miseq together. And in the previous class we basically did some effects like ICO and mastering. And while playing back that DO, DO I still feel that there is a lack of depth. So let's add another effect. So I'm gonna click on the play button right here. Let's go to reverb and to a studio rework. And in this pop-up window, let's go to presets and 2s, mastering rebirth from here. And what mastering reverb as these that it kind of provides a little bit of depth to the audio to provide their resonance and field. So let's play back the audio again. Alright, we are done with the effect section, and now it's time to add a background music. So I have got one right here and drag it to my multi-track. All right, now let's play back the audio again. Alright, the bacteria music fades away. Highly know Liam, So let's decrease it. Cuz Q. Alright, the audio volume seems to be fine, and now lead sobre white, a little bit of a feed in and fade out effect, do bought lots of background music. So I'm used, use it to begin with a right here. And let us use the goal feature here. And this kind of gives that smooth fade in effect. All right, this is a basic addition of patron of music and we also did some a fade in and fade out effect. And now let's basically mix them together. And before mixing, make sure that you go to input and output section and the output for the vocal, as well as the background music you said to master all 0s, then it can mix together. After that, let us go to multitrack right here. A good two mixdown sections to a new file, and I click on n dire section if you want to make so then dissection together or you can select out the clips that you want to mix together. And the consulate Eclipse right now and I click on Session. And it's doing the process in the background. And we will be having an indirect clip together. That means both background music, asphalt, Lhasa, the main pockets mixed together. And I say guys, this was a basic class on how big can Arab background music do some tweaks as Alaska mix the main vocal as well as a background music or any number of tracks together. And I'll see you in the next video. Thank you for watching. 22. How to Make a Looping Song: Alright guys, welcome back to another video. In this video, let's learn how we can loop an audio file and looping and come in handy if you want to use the same background music for your end. I show four like that of a podcast or a 40, 30-minute video. And in that case, the looping of four-day karma, really handy. And inside of cutting and pasting the audio for several times a looping is the efficient and easiest FE. So right now we have got an audio file right here. So the loop NOT file, click on it, right click and click on the blue button right here. And the now all you have to do is go to the end of the track and you can drive it towards right and or diggers looped in forever and ever and you can make it for and now has turned the hours, whatever you need. And they can see more at the end of an audio file. And this is how we can loop an audio file. And this can come in really handy if you want to use the background music for you or chores, and you don't want to cut and paste or changes the Bagger music in-between. And this is also a really cool feature that you can use. And that's it guys. I'll see you in the next one. 23. Creating a Template: Hi guys. In this video, let's learn to create a template. Basically M blaze can come in handy whenever you are using a particular effect repeatedly. For example, you have made an introduction for your YouTube video or a radio show or a podcast, you might use it in our most all offer your shows. And by making that introduction as a template can save a lot of time. For example, consider these two tracks as an introduction to a show or a podcast. And right now lead, so basically saved them as a template, to save them as a template festival Gueckedou file. Then click on Export right here. You will be having an option on answer session as template. Click on that, and here you can enter a name never ended as enduro. And this will be placed along with all of the templates. So whenever you are creating a new project or a new multi-track and directly choose this introduction and things get more ECN again, click on OK, and that basically is saved onto your template. So when I create a new multi-track, For example, I can basically choose my rho from here and everything will be organized accordingly. So this is how we can create a template and save a lot of your time. So I really hope you guys found some value and some tips or you can save it time as well. So that's it guys. I'll see you guys in the next video. Thanks for watching. 24. Make Audio Sound Good for a Podcast: Hi guys. In this video, let's make the audio for podcasts Honda better. So first of all, let's go to File, click on New, Choose a multi-track section from the new option. And let's enter a name right here. And from the template section, click on a podcast. And now click on the OK button and you'll be taken to the podcast multi-track. And the first thing that you can see is that we have a 30-second introduction gap and a 30-second outro gap. And you can basically add an introduction here and your outdoor here. And if you look at the effect section right here, you can see that all of the effects are already pre applied for the host. We have a speech lowered him leveler. For the interviewer, We have a speech or ylim leveler. And for someone defects we have a dynamic processing. Everything is already applied and you can literally drag and drop it audio file and everything will be optimized accordingly. But right now let me add a sample file here. And one thing that you can basically do to enhance your voiceover, that these are the main talky about of a podcast. You can add a parliamentary fertiliser. And let's go to Filter and EQ and 2s, a parametric equalizer. And the presets you can choose between a either a loudness maximizer or a vocal enhancer. And we went through this in the previous sections. Anyway, these two are the most effective pieces that you can implement, even if you want a little bit of a boost to your audio. And I say that the priestess of the podcast them later really powerful to provide that boost to your audience that you add on any tribes. But still if you want some more powerful impactful audio, you can make use of these presets, Moriah, where you can combine all the things that we have learned in the previous sections like amplification, compression and see what works for you. And overall, you will be getting a really good sounding audio in the podcast section, even with the pre-defined template. So this is some ways in which you can make your podcasts on better, and that's it. Now let's move to the mixer section in which we can learn how we can manipulate the mixer in the multi-track. And I'll see you there. 25. Using the Multitrack Mixer: Hi guys. In this video, let us talk about the multi-track mixer and let's see how we can manipulate and access it. And before that, what is the difference between a multi-track and a multi-track mixer? In my opinion, multi-track IS a place where you add music, background music, sound effects, and you mix them together. And mixer is a place where you monitor everything in a single view. For example, if you are having it on default section music template, you are having 24 different tribes. And in list view like this, it is literally impossible to monitor all these 24-tracks and that's very mixer can come in handy. So to access mixer, Anaconda mixer option right here. And that takes you to the mixer. And here you can see the track view and a master mixer. So in my opinion, you can control everything in a more intuitive and easy manner. So first of all, talking from the top part here you can see the input and output section. Moving on. Here you can see the effect section wherein again see each effect applied to each tracks. Then we have got the volume control, then we have got to the channel control, that is a channel for left and right. Then we have got another basic on roads like a mux, solo exedra. We have got the volume rockers in Michigan gondola the volume independently for independent drugs. And this is one of the most easiest way in which you can control the volume as well. And then me other master which convert everything in a single LOT pack. So let me just play back the audio speaker. Let's get started. So this is the use of mixer. This was a really simple example. I just wanna show you guys how you can basically make your stomach, Sir, what is its true potential? And that just asses it before. You can manipulate all the different drags in a more easy and intuitive manner using a mixer because you are having a better B of other tracks and you can easily manipulate the, the volume right from here and us, more track increases. It can become a lot difficult to basically have a control or over everything. And using mixer you can basically provide the exact volume and Xite effects and basically Effect adhesion and all those things are you out much ISI in the multi-track section, in my opinion, maybe I use omics or to basically manipulate or the volume. So it is really easy to manipulate the volume right? Aligned data. I stick with daddy multi-track section. So that's it guys. This was a basic overview about a mixer. And now let's move to the next class. Thank you for watching. 26. Saving Your Project: So guys, previously we have been talking about at the interface, the features and various other parameters or 4W edition. And I really hope you guys are more comfortable using OWL reason might know. And now let's learn how we can save your project because I'll saving opportunity is really important so that the next time when you opened a part of your dish and you can access it. Moreover, even if you have made some mistakes, your progress when we lost, if you save the project. So let's go to File and click on Save As or else you can use. So the hotkey that ESA Shift Command S format or a shift controllers for a PC. And we have a new window right here. First of all, it can enter the name and I can specify the location or L site and click on the Browse button and choose a specific location. And we only have a single format, and that's it. And we have the sample type and it is 44,100 hertz and only change this humbled res.end phew, I suppose to, for example, if you rondo audiobook production, they might ask you to change the sample rate only then do that. Other than that and let everything be the same in the section and click on OK and the project will be saved or the specific location. And the next time any open up partition, you can now go to file. Click on open and direct notation to the location in which you have saved the project and you are good to go. So that's it guys. This is how we can save an open, a project on audition. And I'll see you on the next video. Thank you for watching. 27. Exporting Audio: Alright guys, it is time for the export instruction. So right now I am in the waveform section. And if you wanted to export are the waveform section audio that you have done. A symbol ordered according in now the waveform section and you want to export it, go to file, click on Export, and choose the first option that is filed. And you can enter your name, location, and you can choose a format and b3, So the standard format. And if you want a high-quality You can choose so the waveform or Ailsa EP 1.2x sport in a specific format, again, literally embodied a format daughter gradation aswell and let other things be the default and they can click on OK and it will be saved into the specified location. And this is how we can export a waveform and to export a multi-track, Go to the multiline section. Again, go to File, click on import. Then I can go to the multi-document stone and we went over these during the mixing section. And that's the same. You can click on the entire session to mix up by the end, dire audience again, mix or Ledi's electric lips. And if you click on the end dissection, you'll be taken to the same pop-up window where you can enter the name location. You can choose the format right here. You can alter these things or if you want, do otherwise, let it to be default and I'll click OK and the audio file will be saved to a specific location and you are good to share it on whatever platform saw you are supposed to. So that's it guys. This is how we can export an audio file out of Adobe Audition. And note that you need to do two different steps for a waveform and a multi-track, since these two are independent surgeons and that's it. It was a pretty simple process to export the audio and I'll see you soon. 28. Final Thoughts : And gt adulation is you have completed the course on audio editing with Adobe Audition. And I really hope you guys enjoy the course and you feel much better and comfortable using Adobe Audition right now.
