1. Intro: Everywhere I look around, all I see are
fields of lavender. Purple stretches. As far as the eye can see. Life is better when you are in lavender fields
with your friends. One of my dream and
vicious to walk into the lavender fields
surrounding the village with my loved ones
and enjoy its beauty. So thinking of its beauty
and vibrant color, thought off painting the
stream on my little canvas. Hello friends. My
name is moodiness. And now, and I'm an acrylic artist and hope
you all are doing well. I mostly paint nature related beauty, like
seascape, landscape. So thought of sharing this
knowledge with you guys. I hope you will love it. So in this class we'll be
learning how to block in the background and foreground, step-by-step, creating
trees and tree textures. And how to create the
grass texture in detail. As well as the lavender flowers in detail with
layering technique. So I hope you guys
will enjoy this class. So let's start with that.
2. Materials Required: Let's discuss about the colors. So the first color
is the charcoal, black bond, Dumbo,
surrealism, blue, alizarin, crimson, dioxazine,
purple, tallow green, permanent green to Daniel
White and lemon yellow. So these are the colors
which we will be using. For the background. You can
see there are surrealism, blue and white mix. And for the lower permanent
green and lemon yellow. For the background, we will be creating some shades
that are the base two shades which we'll
be creating here for creating such lavender texture. So I hope the coloring part is clear and what all colors
we'll be needing you. So let's start with the shades. So here I'm using white. Little bit of alizarin crimson
and dioxazine purple mix. Little more white to create that purpley look of purplish, pinkish look off the
lavender flower. This is one color of the lavender flower
which we'll be using. So let me show you
the shade, how it is. It's almost purplish, but
it's quite baby being gold. So you can say, it's
a mixture of both. You can say, the next color
which we'll be using here is taking more of white and
little lighter version of it. So these other two shades, which we will be
using for creating the lavender flowers
of one kind. And there are other colors
also which we will be using. Apart from these two, I'm just adding more
of white so as to distinguish between the two because the other
colors little lighter. So the third color is, I'm just adding
surrealism blue to it to make it more
bluish in texture. So it's more bluish. Little bit of purple. This is the color which I
will be your third color, which I will be using for the 11 different level and
the lighter shade of it. So this is the third one. And after adding, so
after adding white to it, we'll be using the
lighter shade also. So these are the four shades. You can say paste style sheets, which we will be using for
this lavender flower painting. So I hope this color
combination and shades are clear with you guys. And for the grasses
will be using this tallow green and yellow
mix for the darker version. And by adding, this is the
darker trees grass texture. And for the lighter one, I'll be just adding white to red and just little bit of
white I'll be adding. And this is D, sixth color which
we will be using. So these are the colors
which we will be using for the foreground that
the lavender garden. So as you can see, the painting, this is the painting
which we will be doing. So let's discuss
about the materials. So the first one is
the primed canvas than the water container,
tissue paper ballot. And these are the brands of
colors which we'll be using. And these are the masking tape, ruler and pen, and
these are the brushes. So let's start.
3. Blocking: Hello friends, welcome back. So now let's start
with a painting. So this is the primed canvas, which I'm using here. And it's sizes
almost five is 27. You can use any size of
Canvas or watercolor paper, whatever base you want. You can also use MDF also. So let's first see the image. This is the image and I've
also attached over the, in the right corner so that
for further reference. So first we will be creating one single line with
our masking tape. So I'm not using any pencil, I'm just using my masking
tape to draw a line. And this line is
not in the center. It's somewhat like a
little bit upward. Like the upward
portion is little smaller than the downward one. So I'm just putting
the masking tape for the line to divide the
foreground and the background. I've just put the
masking tape in, not in the center, but as I said that the
proportion is less than smaller and the level
down one is more broader. The other colors, which we will be using, black, surrealism, Blue, Titanium white, permanent
green, and lemon yellow. So for the base color, we will be using these
colors and a flat brush. So whatever size you take, It depends upon the
size of the canvas. So first we will be doing the upward and then
downward part. So the flat brush depends upon the size of the canvas
which you are using. Jam just taking surrealism, blue and white mix. So it's more of white
and less of blue. It's more of weight. Does almost white, just
a bluish touch to it. So just covering the
upper part first. So as I was saying that the flat brush size depends
upon the size of the canvas. And if you're using big Canvas, you need to use bigger
size of flat brush. Since I'm using the
smallest size canvas, I have used your size
for the flat brush. I'm just adding
the upper part and then just washing off my brush and just
taking more of color. So as we go down a two modes, like a yellowish shade. So I'm just trying
to create that also. I've just washed my brush and
then I'll just take white, more than just a tinge of yellow and very little
amount of yellow. It's almost white, just
a bit of yellow to it. And I'm just applying
in the second part. And after that,
I'll try to mix it. Plus I'm just
applying that color. Just applying more of it. I'm not going towards down
because it's downward, it is green, so I'll
apply green over there. So with my blender brush, I'll just take little
white and I'll try to blend both the colors. As you can see, I'm just taking a little bite and
I'm trying to blend both the colors so that
there's no line in between. So this is how we
blend two colors. So now, after
blending this color, we'll start with the lower area, which is joining the
foreground and the background. So as you can see in
the reference image, the downward part is bit green. So here I'm using this
filbert brush of size two. And I'm just taking
little bit of lemon, yellow and green
and more of green. I'm just trying to create
some random patterns. I'm just trying to copy
the image where there is green spot and I'm
just trying to create that struck that shape. So just dabbing my brush, taking more of green
and yellow mix, and just tapping my brush tip and creating those textures. You can see how nicely those textures are being
created with the filbert brush. And this is very
nice for creating some texture, some
tree textures. This filbert brush, it
gives a very nice round, half round shape structure. Just trying to create the effects somewhere
there's dark green, some weather or more of
the yellow and green. Just different. I'm trying to create
different colors so that it's not same everywhere. So whenever you use all
these types of brushes, use synthetic brush
or blistered rush. And please do not use any watercolor brushes are
the while you'll spoil your brush completely because these acrylic colors are
like plastics and a width, and it will, the colors won't
get removed from the brush. So take care of that first. So whenever you
use these brushes, immediately wash off
your brush with water. Don't leave it as a desert. The ways you are, the chances that brush will get damaged. So now we'll start
with the lower part. That is the foreground. For the foreground, I'm
just using the two colors. And the same flat brush I'm using just black and white mix. And I'm just applying
over the entire area. I'm just covering
the entire area. It's not as smooth
blend, but it's random. Just moving my brush in
the water go motion. I'm just blocking the
entire area downwards. So just enjoy the process. So this is just the blocking
part which we have done still the detailing and the tree structure,
everything is left. This is just the blocking part, which we have completed
by using the flat brush. So the foreground
is almost complete. As you can see.
It's almost done. I've covered the entire area. So just here and there. You can see how it's not
smooth blend or anything and just dabbing my brush
in the vertical direction. So once this is done, we'll start with our next part.
4. Creating Trees Structure: Hello friends, welcome back. So now let's first start
with the culverts. We're using same colors. Here. I'm just removing the
masking tape in between. And I'll just fill in the
sweat, same green color. So first let's do
this and then we'll be creating the tree structures. So just taking a little bit of green and yellow and then just blocking the lower portion
which is left to white. I'm just covering it. Suggest adding more of green and yellow and a little
bit of white. So just trying to
give little textures. It's the same technique
which I was using earlier. Just covering the
lower portion also. Now just adding little white, little black and green, and again giving textures. So I'm just using the
tip of the brushes and trying to give
texture to it. Just tapping my finger, that is my edge of the brush. And I'm just creating these
shapes here and there. Now once this is done, now we will be creating trees. It's not like we'll be
creating exact trees. What there is, what is
there in the image. So here I'm using
my rigger brush and we'll be creating
trees, but not exact. It will be somewhat
similar but not exact. So let's start just make this black color a
little fluid and then start creating the lines. So first we'll create
that thick line which is on the left-hand side. So just Just figuring
out from where to start. So just creating
those take lines. And that'll be just blocking
it with black color. So these are just
the three lines which will be creating in this. I'm just trying to blocking it. You can block in with
your flat brush also. But I'm doing that
this pressure only suggest blogging in that area which I have created
those lines. See whenever you are
creating any lines you have, make sure that your color is fluid and it's not taken off. Otherwise you'll not be able
to create those fine lines. So make sure that your
color is in liquid form. So just trying to
create the lines. There are so many lines you
can see in this painting. So we have to create those, those many, but at least it
blocks those many lines. I'm just trying to
create those lines. So it's a bit time-consuming, but the result will be amazing. You'll see it is
time-consuming task. You have to create
so many lines. So just have patients
have cup of coffee or tea and then start
creating the lines. Because to create some massive
magic, you need patients. So just take your time
and create slowly the lines and make sure that your color is in
little fluid form. There's some thick lines, also some thin lines. So accordingly, we
will be creating. So you don't have
to be in a hurry. You just take your time
and you can see that the base of the
line is not in one. On this same base
somewhere, somewhere. Some of them are
little downwards, some of them are little upward. So that way you have to create
the depth of the lines. So all the depth of the
lines are not same. So that you have to take care because that will
help in creating shadows. You can see first
creating those take lines that dose take trees
which are quite visible. And then we'll be creating
those fine lines. So I'm just trying to
create first dose, take, take trees which
are really visible. You can use your
flat blush also. But I feel comfortable
with my rigger brush. So I'm using my regular brush
for creating such lines. So this is time-consuming task, but the output you
will get after finishing this painting
will be really amazing. You will be proud of yourself
that you have painted this. Just relax and keep on painting. Take breaks in between if
you are getting tired, and then start over again. So you can see the depth of
this tree is quite below, so you have to create
it like that VIP so that the shadows will
be also like that. So depending upon the shadow
we are creating the trees. So after that, we will be
creating the shadow lines. So just enjoy the process
of creating the lines. So you can see I'm also creating little branches also in-between. So you can also do that. So you can see I'm not creating the exact trees
but similar to it. So not the exact
lines I'm creating, but I'm trying to create
as much as I can. It's not compulsory to create exact lines
where I'm creating. So you can create
your lines on your own because it needs a little, because there are so
many lines in between. So just trying to create
a rough sketch of it. Now I'm creating those
small and thin lines, just filling the gap. And now we'll be creating
some textures also. So this is almost done. We'll be starting
with our next part. So I hope you guys are
enjoying this painting and take your time. Relax, sit back and just enjoy
the process of painting. And you'll definitely
going to love this.
5. Creating Tree Texture: Hello friends, welcome back. So here the color
which I'm using is, is tallow green and all
other are the same fellows. So let's use this
round Bristol brush for creating some
textures, some grasses. So first I'll be
using permanent green as the back shadow of the tree. That is the lighter color. I'm just using the tip of the brush and mixing little
bit of lemon yellow. And just using the tip of the brush and
creating the texture. So as you can see, I'm not completely
blocking the entire area, which is I'm leaving some
areas in between that is white and blocking
the permanent green. Just using the tip of the brush and creating
the textures. So they actually do
three layers of green, which we'll be using this, the first layer that
is the light green, you can say that is
permanent green, which I'm using here. So from the image you can see that the background
that is the shadow, a bit light and above the
trees textures a bit dark. So I'm also trying to
create that effect. Now on the above portion, I'll be using this tallow green, which is a bit
dark, darker color. So it's kind of greenish texture with the tint of blue in it. So it's the tallow
green which comes out and adding little black
also Baker is quite dark. So just a little bit black
and tallow green mixture. And I'm just repeating the
same technique which I've used for this permanent green
in the background layer. I'm just blocking
in the upper area. This is the simplest
technique of creating three textures
or tree leaves. The very simple technique of
creating the tree textures. And whenever you are
creating these textures, always use Bristol brush
and hard bristle brush. And this, and this I'm
using round brush. You can also use
flat brush also, or filbert brush for
creating those textures. So but use toothbrush for
creating these textures. So here you can see I'm
applying the second color. First color is the
permanent green, and the second color
is the tallow green. And I'm just applying that
might tip of the brush. I'm just creating small
textures as you can see. And I'm also over layering that permanent green color so that it gives a nice
contrast to the tree texture. You can see I've left in-between a little area which is white. So I'm just adding
little black also toward and again applying, again, doing the
layering technique, which is called just
applying on the top of the tallow green to give much darker effect and
much more texture to it. So this is the most effective
and easiest technique of creating three textures
or any leads, bushes. And whenever you are using creating these textures,
use Bristol brush. Now I'm adding little white in-between just to create
more whiteness to it. And I'm just overlapping
on some of the branches. Like it should look like that. They are in shade or something. Because you can see all
are not completely black, some are hidden in the light. I'm trying to create that. Look. Now. I'm taking a little bit off all the three colors
and just applying in the middle of that
white portion. Very light texture, not
completely filled up. Very light greenish texture
like light green texture. You can see I'm just
trying to create. So you can see I'm just trying to create a similar effect, which is shown in the image
on the right-hand side. So just trying to replicate it to create some
realistic look. So whenever you are
trying to create some thing which is realistic
and the colors are similar. It takes time and you need to have patients for doing this. Then only you will
be able to create the same effect as it
does in the image. So this is almost
done like just few detailing his left
the upper part. I'm just using my liner
brush and just highlighting the areas which are
not completely black, not too visible, and which are not completely drawn out nicely. So I'm just trying
to create those. I'm just trying to
darken those lines. Can see some lines
are not clear, so I'm just trying to
give proper lines to it. So this is almost complete. Now, we will start
with the next.
6. Rough Sketch of the foreground: Hello friends. Welcome back. So now I'm using
the other gel pen and scale to draw these lines. As you can see below, these lines are drawn. So I'll be drawing
with my gel pen, that is white gel pen. Let's start. So the
ones which are, which, the trees which
are more visible, be drawing lines
from their first, we'll start from
the left-hand side. So let's start from
the left-hand side. The trees which are
joining the foreground. I'm just trying to
create that shadow. Lines, so forth. We'll be drawing and then
we'll start blocking in. So I'm using white gel pen so that it is visible
to use to you. You can use any
other pen or pencil, whatever you want to
draw those lines. It's not compulsory that you have to use this
white gel pen only. You can use any sort of pencil or pen or anything
to draw those lines. So I'm not creating the
exact lines are exact image, but somehow the a little
bit exact portions, It's not exact but
similar to that. So I'm just trying
to create those. So likewise, we need
to create those lines. So you can also use masking tape instead of creating
lines and place that thin masking
tape across and start painting the background. But I found this drawing is drawing much more easier
than using masking tape. But yes, you can
use masking tape as well to draw those lines. So let's enjoy the
process of drawing. So as you can see, mostly the focus
of the line is at the center of the main line, which is dividing the
foreground and the background. So we need to make sure that the lines which we are
creating it should start from the center that joins the center of the
adjoining lines. So you can see this lining
part is almost done. So we'll start with
the blocking of the foreground and width. And moving forward,
we'll be doing more detailing of the foreground. So just enjoy the process. And almost ten, the line part is almost done. So we will now be mixing the colors and blocking
in the foreground.
7. Tree Detailing: Hello friends, welcome back. So now you can see
there's some textures in the tree trunk. So I'm just taking white and a little bit of burnt umber and just mixing it and
trying to create some textures,
adding little white. Also do it with my liner brush. I'm just trying to create
some textures to it. So just outlining the outer area and just trying to create some lines and
textures on the trunk. Just to give some details and realistic textures
to this whole tree. Branch and trunk. Liner brush is very important
and very important brush for doings details and lines. I'm just taking lemon yellow
and little bit of white. And I'm just trying to create some highlights on
that tree trunk. Just the highlight on one
side of the tree trunk. As you can see,
it's quite bright. So I'm just trying to create that same effect on one side of the tree trunk with
my liner brush, or you can say rigger brush. And just highlighting some
areas which are quite shiny. Now, taking my black
again and creating some more effects
to the other trees. Some are not properly shapes. I'm just trying to
give a nice shape to all the trees and
creating some branches. So just trying to give proper tree structure
to all the trees. Just creating some random
branches urine there. Now creating,
again, just shaping the trees which are tin and which are
not properly shaped, suggest trying to
grip the shape to it. And adding little bit of
bond on board to the trees. Because not all the
trees are black. So just shaping the trees, it is very important
that your tree looks is properly shaped
and it looks real, then only that
effect will come up. So just trying to give some effects and
details to it here also one area is
quite shiny because of that light is
coming from behind. So whenever you are painting
or doing any painting, either in oil or
gouache or acrylic. Make sure you take care of the light direction
which is coming. Because that plays a
very important role in painting your entire painting. That is the most important
part which needs to be understood and taken care. So you can see I'm just
creating some lines, horizontal lines and
details to the tree. So similarly for
the other branches and trees and doing
the same thing, I'm just highlighting
the corner areas and creating some textures in between these that
black portion. Just enjoy the process and the techniques which I am doing. So you can see the ones which
are trees which are nearer. I'm just highlighting those
and I'm leaving the trees which are very thin and
which are far away. So I'm just highlighting
those trees which are quite near to the foreground and just
creating some branches. So whenever you are
creating any fine lines, just make sure that your liquid, that your color is
in liquid form, then only you will
be able to create those fine lines properly. You will not be able to create fine lines if the
color is thick. So take care of the
density of the color, whether it is take cotton and make sure that
the color is thin and in liquid form so that the color can easily
flow on the brush. The upper background
is almost complete. Now we will move towards the foreground,
which is still left. We have just done the
blocking and there's lot of detailing and layering technique which needs to be done
on the foreground. So I've just completed the upper background and now we will be doing
the foreground.
8. Detailing The Foreground: Hello friends, welcome back. So I'm just taking my brush too flat brush and black
just on the tip of the brush and creating
some textures behind. So after that, we'll start with the painting just I'm digging very little amount of
plaque on the tip of the brush and creating
the textures. So you have to take
just a little bit of the color and start creating those small textures
on the entire portion, which is the foreground. This is done. We'll start blocking
in the colors. We'll start with the blocking
pad after doing this. So now I'm using my
fan brush of size one, and I'm just blocking
in the entire colors. So let's first use the color that is the yellow
and permanent green. Just the tip of the brush. And just dabbing your
brush very gently. Don't put so much
pressure on your brush. Just take a little bit of color and start
filling in the area. Just so that was the
darker portions. So I've left that
with halftones, so we'll be doing with
the darker color. I'm just covering
those areas which has lighter green texture. Same technique we'll be using
for the darker color also, but on the darker portion will
be using the tallow green. For this lighter portion, we are using permanent green. Just very little
amount of color. And with the tip
of the fan brush, I'm creating those textures. Make sure that you
don't press your brush. Just gently. Create small, small
textures with it. And very light pressure
to your brush, very light, very
gentle pressure. Then only you will be able
to create those small dots and textures on the
foreground area. Are, you can see there are alternate dark and
alternate light color. So that's what I'm
also trying to do. Just this is the lighter
version of color which I am doing and the portion
which is left in-between, we'll be filling it
with the darker color. This fan brush creates
magic when it comes to the grass texture or any textures which you want to create
specially the grasses. And it is also used
in the tree textures. Also, like if you don't have that Bristol brush for the
above d, dx, dy direction. You can always use
this fan brush for creating those textures
above the trees that leaves. And it's a very nice brush. And this brushes from
rosemary, which I have what? You can also buy it and it
is easily available online. Once we are done with
the lighter one. Now we'll be doing with for the darker portion that
is the tallow green. Via using you directly. You can see the contrast
that the shady area is the darker color and the lighter color is the area where the
lights are reflecting. So I'm just trying to covering
those lines also which is visible so that when
that it does not there. Try to cover those
lines as well. That white lines which we have created because it was just for our convenience that
this portion as white, this portion is lighter color and this portion
is darker color, so you need to remove that line. So just try to overlap
those with darker color. So this is the first
layering which we are doing. There are two to
three Lamar larynx which we will be doing. And ultimately those
lines will disappear. So no need to worry. Now there's a line
which is in-between that tree that is the boundary you can
say which is created. So I'm just using the same
masking tape and placing on that line where the background and foreground
does miss joining. And I'll just use my brush. So this is the liner brush. And just using black color
and creating that line. You can also use
your scale to create your line or ruler anything
to create those lines. I'm just using
this masking tape, so that is easy for me
to create those lines. So just trying to create
that boundary which is dividing or you can say the fence which is
dividing that area. Does drawn just remove
the masking tape and just create some fence
lines also in-between, just trying to
create some lines, darkening the lines
which are leftover, and just trying to create
those fence lines in between. These are actually
the fences which are dividing the two areas. So this is almost done. So let's start with
our next part. So just done with
the fencing bot.
9. Creating Lavender Texture: Hello friends, welcome back. So here you can see
I've added two colors. That is alizarin crimson
and dioxazine purple. So we'll be creating
the foreground. So let's start with it. Let's first mix our colors, which we will be using
the two colors which are quite to lavender colors. So I'm just taking my
liner brush and Alizarin, crimson and white and
eggs in purple mix. Just more of dioxazine, purple, more of white. I just want to
create that pinkish. You can say lavender. I'm just trying to create that. So first, we will be doing
that on the lighter area. So I'm just adding little
bit of surrealism, blue and white also. Again, creating small dots on the area which is
in the light portion. Thing. That liner brush will
take up quite a lot of time. So let's use our Bristol brush. And with the tip of the brush, I'm trying to create
those textures. Because creating 11 dot will take a lot of
times I'm just using my tip off the
flat bristle brush and creating those effects. Just the dots. As you can see. I'm using, I'm creating those textures
on the lighter green area. So just more of a pink is there. So I'm just trying
to create that. So just with the tip, you have to use a
very light pressure. You have to create
those textures and onto those areas which
have lighter green color. So this is our third
layer which we are using. The first was the
blocking the background. Second one was the
green, green color. And then this is the, again the textures that is D pinkish texture which we are creating on the
lighter green part. I'll be blocking the entire area which has lighter green color. Now once this is done, using again more of digoxin and blue because the other one is quite bluish and texture. So more of blue. And this color we'll be
using on the darker portion, that is the darker green color. Similarly, the same technique
I'm using very light brush. Pressure on your brush and
using the tip of the brush, you need to create
those textures and fill the entire above area. Now once this is done, we will be now doing some
details with our liner brush. Because this is the texture
pod which is complete. Now we have to do
the detailing part, which is still left. So here I'll be using my liner
brush and the same color, adding more of
surrealism and digoxin, purple and white mix. And just trying to create
again the textures. So the colors should
be more lighter than the one which we
have used it earlier. I'm just trying to create that. I don't want to
complicate this painting, so I'm just trying to create as much easy steps as possible. Does creating some dots, but lighter dots
with that brush. The liner brush. So on all the area
which is of this color. So it's quite
time-consuming process of creating small
effects and dots. So take your time and
enjoy the process. And if you're getting bored, just take a break and
then start doing it. Because there's
sometimes we feel like it's taking a lot of
times a duvet in a hurry, but please don't do that. Take time, breaks, whatever
you feel like watching TV and then start over it
again and do it slowly so that your
painting is not affected. The painting really depicts
your mood, what you are in. So if you are in a good mood, the painting will automatically turns out to be beautiful. And if you're not
in a good mood than the chances that you can
ruin your entire painting. So take breaks and do these detailing because
it will take time.
10. Detailing The Lavender Garden: Hello friends, welcome back. So now we are using again the liner brush and
using my black. I'm just trying to create
some grass effect. Just taking a little bit too
blue and trying to create some grassy effect on the area, but just joining that green
and the lavender color, I'm just trying to
create small grasses. So just creating
some grass effect. So this is also a
very long process and you have to
repeat the same steps over and over again on the
entire that grass area. Then again, you have to do another layer and another layer to give that are realistic
to that, to that grass. So yes, it is a bit
time-consuming process, but the end result is
just mind-blowing. When you'll see the end result, you'll really love it. So just have patience
and go with the flow. And this you have to use very fine line brush because you need to
create fine grasses. Not but your colors
should be in liquid form. So as I go above
the colors a bit, not perfectly black, but
it is sort of bluish. So that texture I'm
trying to create little bit of alizarin
crimson also added to it. So similar process
I will be repeating on the entire area, entire garden area
which is coming up. So just enjoy it. If you will see the
entire painting. The main focus is on the
lavender garden part, which is the most highlighting and I appealing part
of the painting. So you have to make sure that
it should be more realistic and it should look like that whole area is perfectly filled with
lavender so forth. That's why first, we
are trying to create some glass texture and then we will create that
lavender effect. It's already coming as we
have applied those colors, but still a lot of layering and the lavender
effect is there, which needs to be created. So go slowly and create those grasses effect
as much lines. You can see the
lines I'm creating. The sidelines a bit
diagonal like slant. And the middle lines are a
little bit of watercolor and some are off
indifferent angle swap. So the grasses has to be created in different,
different angles, but the side trusses
are to be like this, that they are falling off. So that is the shape which I'm trying to create on
that grass effect. And once we are done with this, we will be again doing the
layering on those grasses. So just trying to give those lines and
highlights on the area. Similarly, I'll be doing on this right-hand
side area as well. You can see how fluid
might paint my color is. Then only I can. I'm able
to create those fine lines. And of course, the brush also plays a very important
role in this. So make sure that you
use a fine liner brush for creating this texture. If you are interested
in learning more of acrylic painting, there are almost ten to
12 classes of acrylics, which I've already uploaded. And you can always watch that. And you can easily follow that and you can
learn the acrylic medium. So mostly I use acrylic and gloss medium for
doing my nature painting. And I mostly do nature and
some nature related painting, landscapes, portraits,
portraits, animal portraits. So these types of
paintings, I mostly do. If you're interested
in one-on-one classes, you can always contact
me via Instagram. That is Martini Art Gallery. You can always DM me there
and ready to help you out. So just taking a little
bit of lemon yellow. So just it's not coming out. So yes. Just a little
bit of lemon yellow. And the screen that
is tallow green. And I'm mixing lemon
yellow and green. And again, I'm trying to create those grass lines so you can see how nice the color
is coming when I've just added a
tint of white to it. So bright green
color is coming out. So again, What are the same
or layering and same texture? We have to create this color on the lighter
part of the green. And this color I'm just using for the lighter part of the
green and the darker part, we will be using
the darker color. So here I'm using the
same liner brush and the same technique which I
applied for that black color. The same technique I'm using
for this lighter color also. Just trying to
create the grasses which are falling in
different angles. Just trying to create
those effects. And there's some grasses
which are in between those areas which are
full of love vendors. One blocking is Dan. Similarly we'll be doing for
the entire greenish area, that is light greenish area. So I've just divided that
section into two lessons. So this is the first part. Now let's begin with
the second one.
11. Grass Detailing: Hello friends, welcome back. Let's start with the same
technique which we were using. I've just added white to that
same color and making it a little light because that
side it's quite light color. I'm just adding more yellow to it to brighten the color up. So just repeating the
same process with my liner brush and
creating different, different lines and
different angles. As you can see, I'm repeating the same process which
we have done earlier on. The other grasses
which we were doing. So same process I'm
repeating over here also. So take your time
and do it slowly. Because it will
take almost half of your time because
grass detailing is the major part
in this painting. I'm just adding little bit of highlights over this green area. Also. Some bright highlights. Not everywhere but
little letter somewhere. So just highlighting
those areas. Now, once we will be done
with this slider bar, will start doing with
the darker part as well. So I'm just mixing the same color and covering the other area
which is left out. And I'm trying to block in
that white line so that it is not visible because that was aligned which we
draw it drew earlier. I'm just trying to
cover that lineup. So try to take the
fine line brushes, that tennis brushes,
which you have, then only you will be able
to create these fine lines. Cannot use a thick brush
for doing these lines. You have to use the
liner brush size. The minimum small size. Like 000, that is the best size you can use
for these d tailings. You can see almost the picture has come up what
we're going to do. But still, a lot of
detailing is still required to make that painting
look like that image. So we are trying to do that. So just creating
more lighter color. So this is one of the technique which is called as
layering technique, which we will use
most of the time, doing a realistic
painting even and for painting or any
animal for painting. We use this type of technique. And it is very nice technique to create any
realistic painting. So take your time. Do it slowly. Make sure that this color
is a bit in fluid form. To create those fine lines. It should not be in
the form tag form, otherwise you'll not be able
to create those fine lines. As I said earlier. And do share your projects. Once you are done
with this painting, I love to see those projects. I really enjoy seeing the
projects from the students. That makes me feel
more confident. And it's like something which
I'm teaching and I'm also learning from it and do give
your reviews because reviews plays a very important
role in improving myself. So now I'm using
this darker green, so I've just used a little
bit of yellow and I'm trying to cover that
darker portion. So same fallow
green and a little yellow and just covering it. Same technique
which I've used for the lighter color I'm
using for the darker one. So once you are done with
this entire grass technique, grasp painting will then
do the lavender painting. Half of the lavender painting
is done but still small, small details are left, which needs to be taken care. So this whole thing
we'll be doing on the entire darker area. So just enjoy the process
of painting fine lines. Yes, enjoy this
lovely slow music. Which will make you feel more into it. This painting. You can also do it in
gouache if you like it. This is the same process
and the same technique you have to use in
painting with gouache. You can definitely use it
in Gouache technique also. This, I have done
an acrylic or an, also an oil painting. You can do this but
you need to take care. The background oil is dried, then only you can do
the lettering part, otherwise the whole
painting will be messed up. So in that, in oil painting, you need to take care of this part that the
background color. Then you are doing the
lettering has to be dried. And then you need to do
the second layering. Layering will be done once the lower part of the
color is dried-up? Yes. And of course you can do it an acrylic because
actually drives fast. So you can do multiple
layering as much as you can. You don't have to wait
for it to dry it. So the almost done with the
landing pad, it's fuel. Moral. Blocks are left, which we'll be doing slowly. We are almost done. So now we will proceed
for the next detailing. That is the lavender detailing.
12. Final Detailing: Hello friends, welcome back. So this is the current
brush which we will be using here
for the painting. And this is our last
video of the painting. Here I'm just taking alizarin, white and dioxazine purple mix. Little bit more of
light because we need a little lighter color and little bit of a
purplish pinkish color which we need to create. So just putting my brush in the vertical
direction and the, just the tip of the brush, I'm trying to
create those small, small patterns which
will look like the bunch of flowers
which are popping out. So this is the very
nice and brush for creating such textures. So you can see like three
dots will be coming up, like there are multiple branches off for flowers coming out. You just need to use the
tip of the brush and create those dots
on the entire area. You have to use the color, this color on the pinkish, but this color needs to be used on the
lighter greenish part. And the other bluish color
we'll be using on the other. But just trying to create some nice flower texture,
that lavender texture. You can see how nicely the
dots are coming up and it looks like the bunches of
flowers are coming out. So this is actually
Rosemary brush, which I'm using here. And of size two, which gives a very nice texture. As you can see. If you
don't have this brush, you can always use your liner brush for
creating such textures. Or you can use fan brush also for creating
these textures. So you can see how I'm repeating the same steps on the entire
area which is lighter green. I'm not covering
the entire area, but on fuel, few areas
and different sections. I'm creating such
thoughts and in different directions so that
it looks a bit realistic. Once we are done
with this technique of painting is almost complete. And this is also a
bit time taking. So take your time. Have a cup of tea or coffee, whatever you like, and take
breaks and then start. So when I started painting, I also had this in mind that I have to
finish this painting fast. Like after 30 or 30
minutes or one hour, I used to get bored and eyes to complete this painting
as fast as I could. So patients develop with time. If you start painting every
day at least for 30 minutes, and then you increase your time, you'll be able to resist your impatience and your patient's level
will also increase. So this what I did. And I used to take breaks in between and
I used to listen to music after taking one or two
hours of painting session and then I used to
take breaks for one or two hours and
then start over again. So this is how I use to
complete my painting. Now also I use the same technique of
completing the painting. Like I started with
30 minutes and then I increased to one
hour and then to us. So likewise, I started increasing my time
interval of painting. So if you paint every day, at least for 30
minutes with time, you are your patient's level
will develop. I'm sure. You can see I'm using the bluish color and does have just mix blue and
the same color is there. So and same technique
you have to use for the entire dark
part of the painting. I'm already loving
this painting. I hope you guys too. So it's quite bright painting. Rarely, very bright. Bright sunny day. I have never seen
lavender garden, but I love to see
in my near future. So since I have not
seen it personally, so I thought why not to
paint it on my Canvas? Maybe in near future, I'll definitely go and
visit this lavender garden. I hope you guys must have seen so many places so
you can relate to it. So yes, we all most moving forward to the completion
of the painting, just few more minutes left
and we'll be done with this beautiful lavender
garden painting. Guys, don't forget to
share your project works because that
keeps me motivated. And also your reviews please. Guys, if you have any
doubts, any questions, any queries, you can directly ask me on that discussion area. I'm always ready
to help you guys. If you have any issues
with the brushes or colors or any Canvas, whatever or any pattern or any technique which
you are not able to understand just you can always ask me or you're going
always DMU on my Instagram, that is more lenient gallery. Now you can see
that this area that the branches of
the tree trunk has been lightened up
because of that texture. So I'm just giving
it a shape to it. Because the colors
has come up on that. Black areas where I'm
just highlighting dose almost at the end part of the painting. And see you can see that
lines have disappeared. So I'm just darkening it
up because those lines, three lines are coming
down on those grasses. So I'm just darkening
those lines up. More important thing is that when you are done
with the painting, leave it for one day to
get dried completely. And then in the next day, just tried to varnish
this painting with your anyone is like satin
varnish or matte finish, whatever you have so that you
can protect your painting from dust or from any
other dust particle. So varnishing is very important for protecting
your painting. And if you have any
doubt and varnishing, you can see some of the
videos I have shown, how to wildness your painting. You can check out some of my acrylic painting
videos I've shown there, how to finish the painting. So guys, I hope you enjoyed this painting and I will
love to see your projects, please, please, please do
share your project works. If you are watching this
and if you are trying, and if you're thinking
of painting this, and to share your
projects and reviews, that keeps me motivating. And thank you so much
for watching my video. So patiently. And I hope you guys
enjoyed this painting. Enjoyed watching this painting and listening to my stories. So thank you so much. Have a nice day.
