1. Welcome to the Class: Hi, my name is V2, I'm a graphic designer. And in this course we will learn step-by-step how we can earn money from Canada, from creating a contributor account to uploading the first digital creations. To make the learning process easier, we have structured this guide into three sections. One, basics to how to create and prepare a designed to be uploaded on Canva. Three, how to upload a design on Canva. In the basic section, we will learn what is Canva, how to create a contributor account on Canva dashboard presentation. The section how to create and prepare a design to be uploaded on Canvas. We will learn what program am I using? How to create a design in Adobe Illustrator? How do I save a design to be uploaded? In the section, how to upload a design on Canva, we will learn how to choose the keywords in the title for the creative design. The uploading process. Also make sure you stay until the end of this tutorial because I want to share with you three tips that will help you increase sales on Canva. 2. Basics: Canva is a free graphic design platform where even people who are unfamiliar with the use of a graphic editing programs such as Adobe Illustrator can easily create invitations, business cards, presentations, social media and marketing materials and more. This platform offers a lot of free tools and resources. But if we want to have access to premium resources, we will have to pay a subscription to create a contributor account. We will go to canva.com. We will have to login with a Canva account. And if we do not have one, we will have to register. Then we click on the Help button at the bottom right of the screen. We will search for Canva contributor and click on become a Canada contributor. To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old or illegal age in your country of origin. From here we will enter the contributor landing page and we will click on become a contributor. Button will appear on the left side. Contributor hub. Here we will upload our designs and we can check the designs that are being reviewed, accepted, or rejected. To see the sales, you will have to click on Account Settings then on sales. Royal lady and subscription earnings will be displayed here. Royalty means that whenever a design is purchased, you will receive a percentage of thirty-five percent of the sale. Subscription earnings come from those who pay for a Canva pro or Canada Enterprise subscription. At the end of each month, the earning will be distributed to each contributor based on how many exports as resources had and will be displayed between the 10th and 15th of the following month. If we click on payments, it will take us to a page where our payment history is displayed. Also here we can set the payment details payment method, which can be PayPal skill or pioneer E-mail corresponding to the payment method, the payment threshold. And here we must keep in mind that for payments under $100, we will have a fee of $2. The country of residence. 3. How to create and prepare a design to be uploaded on Canva: To create the designs, I used the Adobe Illustrator program for which I pay a subscription of about $28 slash month. As an example for this tutorial, I will create a design represented by an office chair that we will go through all the following steps. After creating the design, we will export it. We will click on the Menu File Export, export As, and we will choose the PNG format. Camera accepts other formats besides PNG, such as SVG or JPG. And if we wanted to export them, we will also go to the Menu File Export, export As. And we will choose SVG or JPG depending on the desired format. 4. How to upload a design on Canva: In order to upload a design to Canada, in addition to the actual design, we will need a title and keywords. We will take the keywords from a site called and Stalker.com. We will click on IMS keywords in the search bar. We will look for our design. We will also select the file type to be a vector. A series of vector images will appear and we will select some of them that are similar to our design. We will notice that there will be several keywords from which we will choose 20. The most relevant ones will be marked with a purple dot. If we click on Keyword settings, we will be able to set the way and the order in which the keywords will appear. I made the settings this way to display my keywords in the singular, sorted by rank and alphabetical order and comma delimited. Once we have chosen 20 keywords, we will click on Copy to Clipboard and copy them to a file. Along with our design. We will also put a title consisting of about five words for the design. In the example, we will put the title, desk chair and flat style with the title and keywords ready, we'll start the upload process. We will go on Canva, click on contributor hub and click on Select file. We will select the design we want to upload and click on open. We will enter the title and keywords. Check I am the owner of the content and click Submit. Now the design enters the review process, which usually takes a few days after which it will be displayed as accepted or rejected depending on the result of the review. 5. Tips: Now, as I promised, I want to share with you three tips that I use and work to increase your sales on Canvas. One, when you build your portfolio, follow these three principles in the following order. Quality because this way your designs will attract attention. Diversity because in this way through the multitude of keywords, you will cover a wide range of searches. Quantity because this way you will reach as many people as possible to be consistent and upload new designs as often as possible. Instead of uploading a lot at once, is better to upload a few every day. In this way, you will help the algorithm of Canva to put you in front. Three, pay close attention to your keywords. Never put keywords irrelevant to your design. It is better to have a few but relevant than many that are irrelevant. This is the end of the class. I'm really glad that you came and participated and I'm really excited to hear from you how your Canva contributor journey is and thanks for watching.
