1. Introduction: have you ever, ever woken up in the morning on? Just thought, What am I doing? What am I doing with my day and you walk around aimlessly? It takes you a while to get going, and you're just no, really very focused. So in this course, I'm gonna give you six hacks how to be a successful entrepreneur by taking hold of your day and big, more productive. All right, I'll see you in the quotes by 2. Introduction and welcome: I am Melanie. I'm a life and business coach, and I ran a successful most my groups for women in business on. I'm going to share with you in this course six hacks that I use as a business owner and entrepreneur to be as productive assed possible with my time Andi to create really, really healthy habits as well. So join me for the six hacks to help you be more productive and more successful. Entrepreneur. All right, by 3. Hack 1: So hack number one And that is no your peak times. So no, your peak working times When is the most effective time that that you get out of the day so it might not be a full eight hours? It it might be your best to get up in the morning and you work really, really hard on the afternoon. You have a slump when you work really well in the evening. So learning to understand your peak working times are and it's different for everyone is really important because that's when you're most productive and those down times. If you need to do stuff, then plan the stuff that doesn't require so much headspace on, you'll have a more effective day. So I worked best in the morning. So the second I get up, I do my morning morning rituals, morning habits. But I worked best up until about one o'clock, and then I have a massive slow, so I usually get my admin done things that I don't have to think about it. I don't have to be creative around or I'll go to the gym will go for a run. I will go and make coffee friends for coffee. So I then start again at eight or nine in the evening and I'll work through to midnight now because I run my own business. I can do that on obviously no, all the time. Because I've got things to do in the evening. But it's on those days that I can that I work, work my peak and I get the most. I get the most creativeness out of myself. Out of my day, Andi, Out of what I'm giving back to my clients. So find your peak working times hack number one. 4. Hack 2: So the second biggest Huck that I can tell you about is the night before. Write down your to do list. If you're anything like may, I'm a bit blurry eyed in the morning. My brain takes a bit toe work. Andi, I have to walk around on. DSO did just get myself ready and I've got daily habits which are sharing. The next is one of the next tax secret. So, really important is I write my list of things to do the night before because I've done done the day and I know what's still outstanding and I already have ideas of what I want to be working on now. The reason I do that is a couple of things. One. It's putting my work and having a boundary for my work because I work from home. Andi is having a boundary, so I put everything that I need to do when I want to do for tomorrow on a list and it out of my head and it's on a bit of paper and I can just rest and sleep a lot better to when I get up in the morning. I then don't have to think What What do I need to do? Because my brain's a bit slower. I can just get straight started in tow work because I've got my list there to do when I don't have to try and think. OK, what have I got to do on also, I don't go straight into doing my e mails, which for me, my morning and in the previous video, you know, I said, Pete, times in the morning, that I'm actually one of my most created. And if I could jump into my emails that jump into that do mentality so really, really, really helpful is write a list the night before, get it out. If you had get it onto a bit of paper, sleep well and then you may even have dreams during the night, which I occasionally do. And then I write them in my diary during the night, and then they're sort of things I can look at the next day. All right, see if factory 5. Hack 3: So let's talk about Hack three. So this is the hack that sets me up for the day. These are my daily rituals on the things that I do that I changed my mind set set me up for the day. Allow me to be really, really focused on D. If I don't have time to do them in the morning, I may do them later in the day, but I certainly can use these techniques on the go. So might to daily rituals are the 1st 1 is gratitude, and you've heard it 100 times before. But it really, really works. And the reason it works is because it switches your mindset from place of black or replaces focusing on the negative to start to really find June and hone into the positive. Andi, that's that's the real beauty off. Gratitude is, is being up to switch switch the brain to focus on that positive now for anyone who's tried gratitude before struggled with it. Throw it away, give it a go for 21 days because that if the studies done are around 21 days doing it for 21 days on when I first did gratitude. I struggled, struggled to find meaningful things to be grateful about. And I was using the same things every day. The further you get along, the easier it becomes and the easier it is to see. So it is even changing how you see the world in what you focus on so gratitude for me. I do in the morning for the last 24 hours. So today was beautiful because I had friends over last night. Andi, I'm just really grateful for the friendships I have in my life. The friends that came over last night on the laughs I had on what a lovely, beautiful time. So I make my really specific about why I'm grateful for and gratitude beautiful. And if I find on dipping throughout the day or just focusing on the negative than then, actually, I'll do gratitude again. Andi. It might be something that has happened to try and just refocus myself on the positive. So the second thing and I've being doing this since I was 12 on and off for years, but very much more regularly in the last three years. And that's meditation. So I meditate for 10 minutes every day on. This just sets me up. This breathing is focused. My creativity is a lot higher when I'm meditating and I meditate most days for 10 minutes on bond. If I don't have time for 10 I might do 30 seconds. I might do two minutes, but it's really taking that moment to sit. I've always set for my meditation, uh, my feet firmly on the ground, Andi flat on the ground, and that just feels comfortable for me with my back high. But there is no specific position. It's what feels right for you. What what's going to get that flow for you? You can do it in bed, sitting on the edge of the bed, sitting in a chair up to you. So 10 minutes a day, just breathing. So if you can't breathe focused, meditation or guided meditation. But these two things that set me up and of the best hack that I can do is an entrepreneur to be productive, to be creative and really just continue to have those ideas to drive and grow my business forward So we'll see you in hack full 6. Hack 4: Okay, so the fourth hack Now we're just getting into more sort of tasks, like things. These are the real time management product productivity acts on. It is right. Your list. You've got your less from the night before. Rewrite it into something sensible. Order the list. Sort of have an idea how long everything's gonna take, but have only six things on that list. Cover up the bottom three and only focus on those first rate. So it's really important visually that you're not feeling overwhelmed by the amount of things you've got to do. So if threes too much, then cover them up and just have that one. And that's that one thing. So you can really focus on one thing at a time and do it well to the best of your ability. All right. See you in half. Five 7. Hack 5: Okay, so the next one is group tasks together. So again, a time management tool is when I'm putting my list together grouped us together. And the reason this is it so well, group creative tuhs together or admin tossed together on guy. I know the bigger picture of what I'm working on, and then the reason is this is actually it takes you 20 minutes to switch to another task and to be to get back into that productive place. So if you're switching from one toe up tasked to another So from a creative tusk to an ad meant us, that's a very, very different head space on actually, your your brains just not getting there as quick as you want to to be as productive. So put the creative test together because your brains working in that floor put the admin tasks together because your brains working that way and that really, really makes a difference on how productive you are throughout a day. And I'll even work on half day blocks to make my time more effective and more a job enjoyable as well 8. Hack 6: So this is hack number six for being a productive, successful under Nancy. These thes and things that really helped me be as productive get as much done and really be able to move and growing my business. So the last one is work on seven day, 30 day, 60 and 90 day plan. So I of course I have my day list, but I also have goals that I'm working on for seven days. I have goals I'm working on for 30 days. In the next 30 days, I have a plan for goal for the next 60 and I have a plan for a goal for the next 90 on. That allows me to ensure that one. I'm working on his consistent because it's really easy to get excited by something you are going to do that something new comes in and you focus on that and you lose track of what you were. You were looking twitchy and it's important that you're as an entrepreneur. It is quite a normal thing for us to get really excited about those new and exciting things . Someone will cop come and ask us to do anything. But if you know what you're working on for the next seven days for the next 30 for the next 60 for the next 90. It's not to say that other things can come in, but it's working out where they fit in. So you're not losing traction on your business. So that's really important that you're growing your business. You're focusing on one thing and you're focusing on that path to get there now. There's definitely wiggles along the way, and the the puffin entrepreneurs like this. Definitely not like this, Andi. But the thing is, the biggest thing is focus is really having that end goal in 90 days. This is what I want. Achieve more sales, mawr, more outcome, whatever it is for you to grow your business really important, so focused on goals for seven days. So what am I working on over the next seven days? What am I looking to achieve? 30 days 60 on 90? Perfect. So I will see you next time. I hope you enjoyed this, and I hope it's really helpful. Atyour joining is a business owner and entrepreneur. All right, bye.
