The dumb fish
I've created this fish that looks a bit dumb. It’s an anthropomorphic figure representing people who don’t think and who inevitably get caught. That’s why I added handcuffs. If you look closely at the eyes, you can also see a human face. The scribbles underneath can represent the water or waves on which the fish is swimming. The strokes in the background refer to the universe of jails and give the piece a rather grim feeling.
I really appreciated the part about writing texts and exploring the meaning of every element. I enjoyed examining the composition too, playing with multiple elements and exploring the dynamics of the subject according to the orientation in the format.
Thank you for this very neat and well-prepared class. I found the universe conveyed in the lesson very interesting, and the approach to discussing the symbolism and meaning of the elements particularly compelling.
