Bigfoot beach your local swimming hole built on a dam that runs into the local lake system. Pretty typical of a small college town beach that is frequented by the college students and various youth in the area. The forecast was sunny with a small chance of rain which doesn't mean much in Wisconsin you get over 30% chance and you can expect showers. Various children and young adults are taking full advantage of the beach on a lazy hot summer afternoon. Children splash each other while teens swim to the raft in the middle of the lake.
Most would think nothing can go wrong on a nice day like this as clouds roll in turning the day to night it what feels like no time at all. Thunder roars over the beach as the lifeguards blow there whistles yelling in their mega phones that everyone needs to be out of the lake NOW. Rain starts falling in sheets that turn the water into a blender of activity. People rush to pack up their belongings.
A child rushes to collect their toys from the shallow water as they spot several ripples in the water. Like a shark's dorsal fin tips of pointy helmets start to break the water line and several men like creatures start to rise out of water as if just walking out of the shoreline. The child erupts in terror as the gruesomeness of the creatures rise out of the water resembling a cross between vikings and demons. The demons scan the beach looking for something zeroing in on the gaping face of a college girl now drenched in the middle of packing up her stuff. They make a bee line for her bearing their teeth growling as the started running towards the shore. As they reach the shoreline swords, clubs, and axes seem to appear as the creatures swung at the child splitting his head spraying blood onto the shore and the mother as she tried to reach the child. The beasts started to lash out at the crowd as they made their way towards their target. The crowd erupted in panic as they scrambled to avoid the slaughter on the beach. Their target staired at them dumb founded with what she saw as if seeing creatures from middle earth come towards her. Her friend next to her pulls on her arm yelling "COME ON GABBY WE NEED TO GO! NOW!" knocking her out of her stupor as they run up the hill behind the beach. The creatures follow quickening their pace as they rush up the steep hill leave a river of blood behind them. At the top of the hill a middle aged man stared down from a bench enthralled with what he saw. He watched as the two girls in skimpy bikinis ran past him screaming for help. His eyes locked with the teenage girl pulling her friend seeing the terror in them. He took hold of his large walking cain and got ready to run to his car. Motioning to the girls, "This way" as he pointed to the parking lot by the park that was at the top of the hill. His voice seemed to cut threw the commotion of screams, falling rain, and thunder as the girls saw a mountain of a man try to help them. The earth at the top of the hill started become loose as the girls stumbled falling in a puddle falling into a heap as the panic and fear overcame them. The lead demonic creature approached them raising his weapon to strike bringing it down only striking a heavy metal cain as it blocking the blow parrying strike. The creature is surprised as they were not expecting resistance as most of these meat sacks run away especially a tall overweight man with a limp. The man strikes at the creatures knee causing it to fall as the knee is shattered causing the beast to scream out as it fell. Two other beasts followed it preparing to strike as the man used his cain to hook the right ones leg pulling it down hard to the ground. As the creature fell he used the cain to deflect the blow from the final creature slamming his booted foot in the beasts crotch getting the desired response as the creature doubled over in pain falling to the ground. The other two demons started to recover as the large man backed away from them and started to follow the girls to the only car parked on the far side of the small parking lot. As they approach the car the world erupts in thunder and lightning as the grey sedan is engulfed in lightning causing everyone to collapse from the explosion. The creatures feel the blast permanently putting them down this time. The smell of sulfur erupts as their skin starts to burn leaving burnt husks where the three beasts lay. The two girls and man lay knocked out on the pavement unconscious with the rain stopping as fast as it started. Sirens erupt in the distance as emergency vehicles appear to be nearby. What looks like heavily armored emergency vehicles pull up the hill zeroing on the burning vehicle. The two red EMT trucks pull up blocking the road as a small squad of fully armored soldiers in full black tactical gear came out of the trucks as they searched at the other hostle creatures in the area. Once the area was secure several ambulances pulled up as EMTs pulled out gurneys and swiftly gathered up the two girls and large man. The soldiers quickly put the bodies of the demons in body bags and threw them into the back of the red emergency vehicles. In less then 10 minutes everyone was packed up and driving off. As the last red emergency vehicle drove away the local police sirens and fire trucks pulled in the beach's parking lot at the bottom of the hill. The teenagers and large man rode off unconscious with paramedics tending to their injuries making sure they are alive.
The driver of the ambulance reached for the CB radio pressing the talk button, "We got them bringing them to you"
"Copy that Charlie team bring them to the extraction site Echo" came a womans voice in reply over the radio.
"10-4 ETA 20 minutes out" came the driver's reply. As the caravan of trucks drove towards a break in the clouds. As the sunlight filtered towards the ground giving a eerie feel to the sky. It seemed a little different for the the three individuals who seem to be entering into a world many like to read about, but few ever want to live in themselves.
