Talking through pictures

I am confronting myself with photographing my art/items/myself quite a lot recently, since I started my mini business. I am doing it spontaniously with the basic knowledge and eye I have, and following this class gave me a lot of informations on how I can improve with an actual method. These examples are what I do in general, trying to take my products outside, since they are inspired and linked very much with the lanscape and the surrounding.

For this lesson, I decided to try to share a moment of intimate connection with the viewer, taking a picture of my desk while creating some new sketches. I used my pencils and pens, a cup of coffe, that never fails to be next to me, and a small vase with colorful flower, that sits on a coaster with one of my designs that people knows well. I used a strong light to give contrast, but also a warm filter to create a more cosy feeling.
I tried different angles, and now I cannot stop shooting :PTalking through pictures - image 6 - student projectTalking through pictures - image 7 - student projectTalking through pictures - image 8 - student project
