I chose to take product photos for my small business selling various products decorated with my artwork. I selected one theme as vibrant and colorful and the other as cozy. Given that my designs are full of bold colors, I selected similar, more muted colors to complement my designs. I also added some real flowers as props since many of my designs feature florals. 

 

I have other designs that have deeper and darker colors, so for these designs I attempted to create a more moody, cozy evening setting. I utilized mirror with a bronze frame to add a warm, antique tone. I also added a flower with creamy white petals to continue with the warm tone and the flower theme. Most images are on a natural wood table and many images included a piece of bark as a nod to nature. 

 

I'm very happy with my first attempt at product photography! I'm beyond grateful I found this and some of the related classes - they were truly my roadmap and gave me the confidence to give this a shot! I think some of my pictures may have too many props and the product I'm featuring isn't immediately clear given that there is a lot to look at but I'll experiment with that next time! :)
