This is so fun to see, and I really love the bold contrast you got with those big black taped off shapes against all those little pops of color and pattern. Honestly, finding that happy medium with the tape is such a huge part of the process, and it looks like you learned a lot by playing with it here. I am so glad the class felt like a hoot for you, because that playful paint over it energy really comes through in these pieces 😊

Thank you so much! I definitely plan to repeat this soon, just for my own edification. Thank you for this lovely class, and for bringing so much joy and encouragement to art. I've always done crafts, but was too intimidated to try to learn any art techniques because I've always been bad at it. It's good to make progress in this area, and you're a big part of setting me on this path!

I think I covered too much with tape originally, and now I feel like I should have covered a little more. I will have to find a happy medium. Thank you for this class, it's been a real hoot painting over my work!
