I had so much fun with these mosaics. I decided to do different kinds of patterns/techniques with the tape to see which I liked best. My favorite color palette was the purples and green with the gold, but wonder if I would like that one better with a different design.

The red, yellow, pink surprised me, because I wasn't sure I'd like it at all but it grabs me (and makes me think NASCAR for some weird reason - I don't even watch racing. LOL!). The pink and blue was disappointing in the marks (so I may continue playing with it), but I actually liked the plaid-type taping on that one.

My favorite overall is the green blue one, although the paper tore as I removed the tape. I decided to leave it, instead of painting in the tears, because it sort of fits the grunge style of the rest of the painting. I like this one cut down, too, but haven't cut it at this point. I took a photo of where I'd cut. 

I'll do more of these.
