Your Skull Still Life is striking and beautifully executed! I love how your confident lines and layered hatching give the skull and objects such depth and texture, while the contrasts between light and shadow really make the composition pop. Truly a thoughtful and skillful piece!

Thank you for sharing, D! (and for the kind review) I really like your choice of still life and your use of texture. It looks like you're drawing with white, which is something I now wish I'd brought up in the class! My one little note is to try to set yourself free from the 'snap to line' feature as often as possible. I understand the urge to use it, especially for the edges of objects like a book. But a snapped line has no variation in weight which makes it stand apart from your other lines. Personally, I think your free hand line work is much more engaging to look at :) Ira

Learned a lot on inking, shadows and nuance. . .
Used brushes from the Ink, Pen and Comics library in Procreate 5.4 latest version.
