Lights out, a power outage took hold of the whole town. The room remains cold from the ac as light leaves darkness in charge. Picture frame hang still encasing black squares, the images that once showed a happy family out on the park now hung motionless from the wall with a shudder of shadow over it. Power generators roar and clank to raging life, filling the wind with loud mechanical buzzings. The closet loomed like an abandoned gateway, darkness filled every inch of its insides, emanating a dark aura like a faint beast, ready to pounce at the blink of an eye.
