What surprised you the most?

------ The fact there is no schooling technically needed to work in floral idustry. I assumed there would be for both the technical skills and things like floral identification.

Are there any skills that you have that you didn’t realize would be helpful in the floral industry?

-- I knew that florist work alot with people and I knew that basica customer service skills etc would be an asepct but this video went in detail about how important having good listeing skills can be for this industry.

Did you discover something about floristry that has made it a more appealing career choice?

-- Apart from the creative asepcts that I had already started to consider the idea that the career is one that has you constantly learning and is always changing, even in the day to day aspects (example being the portion of the class that discusses flexibilty,) makes the career seem even more appealing/

Did you discover something about floristry that has made it a less appealing career choice?

-- No, the opposite actual.

Is floristry is a viable career choice for you?

-- I believe it may be and Im looking forward to exploring it as an option more. I have always loved having a creative outlet and have always felt naturally drawn to flowers in some shape or form but untill it was recently brought to my attention I had never thought about it as a professional option.
