CASE STUDY 1

For the first project example, I went with a vintage midcentury theme with vintage photos paired with halftone patterns and a paper collage. And I kept the animation simple by creating looping animations of the cross-stitch pattern and wiggle collage and keeping everything else static.

 

CASE STUDY 2

For the second project example, I wanted the visual style to be bright, bold, and colorful with energetic hand-drawn marks. Taking the animation a step further, this project combines multiple techniques including looping animations, rotating elements, clipping masks, and straight ahead animation. Which together creates a very fun and energetic animation.

 

CASE STUDY 3

Since the third animation is more complex, I planned out my animation by storyboarding the action and then used one of the storyboards that showcased all the elements as the basis for the rough composition.
