Pencil and brushpen (pentel) 

I studied the composition of this piece, trying to focus on how Mike Mignola uses negative space to help describe form.

I enjoy a lot this 2 value style, and the graphic composition it lends itself to. 

 

I also enjoy the grotesque stylisation of Mignola.
