Making Feedback Actionable

One feedback practice that's worked well for me is pairing feedback with practical support. Instead of only pointing out what needs to improve, I try to model the expected outcome, provide clear examples or simple guides, and follow up regularly. I also make a point to recognize progress when I see it, because reinforcing positive changes is just as important as addressing gaps. When improvement takes longer, I check in with curiosity rather than assumptions by asking how things are going and what support they need. I've found this approach makes feedback feel more collaborative and actionable.
