GA4 E-commerce Funnel Exploration: Google Merchandise Store - image 1 - student projectFor my class project, I utilized the official GA4 Demo Account (Google Merchandise Store) to analyze user drop-off in a standard e-commerce funnel. Using the Explore workspace, I generated a Funnel Exploration report tracking four key touchpoints: First open/visit, Session Start, Screen/Page View, and Purchase. This visualization allows me to clearly identify the highest points of friction and abandonment before a user completes a transaction. The data reveals a significant bottleneck at the final stage, with a 99.2% abandonment rate between viewing a page and completing a purchase, indicating a prime area for website optimization.
