From Plant to Cup of Coffee
Coffee begins its journey as a small seed planted in rich soil, usually in warm tropical regions where there is enough rain and sunlight. As the coffee plant grows, it produces red fruits called coffee cherries. Inside each cherry are seeds, which we know as coffee beans. Farmers carefully harvest the ripe cherries, then remove the outer fruit, dry the beans, and prepare them for roasting.
After the beans are dried, they are roasted to bring out their aroma, flavor, and color. The roasted beans are then ground and brewed with hot water to make a cup of coffee. From planting and harvesting to roasting and brewing, every step helps create the taste and smell that many people enjoy. A simple cup of coffee is the result of hard work, patience, and care from plant to cup.
