Christmas Cards

Christmas Cards - student project

Hey! :)

I participated at the Christmas Card-Challenge and therefore I added a few cards of that experience here too.

In the first picture you may see the bubble-technique I learned in another class of Cornelia in the background, where I added up some lines, because I found it more interesting.

The second card actually turned out as mistake - it was late in the evening and the first plan of a black-and-white-composition was disturbed by myself by cutting out a wrong part. But in the end I added a few sparkles and found it just fine.

The third one basically is a variation of the first card, and the forth one I did when I watched this course. I loved it and used color cards of a hardware-store for it. And I even learned something new! Acrylic Binder doesn't work that well on glossy surfaces. So I basically ruined everything nice-looking by putting mat-medium all over. However, I decided to post it here, because I like the composition.

The very last one is the same technique, but glued. One cut-out-outline version, the other one is a style made out of the cut-outs. It's better, but simple glue sometimes left marks. I'll have to find another way to make it look more professional. :)
