Greeting Cards

First I did some papers.  I produced some lovely results by unfortunately used Printer Transparency Film and the tissue paper wouldn't come off!  I later did some more using plastic sheet protectors and these worked just fine.

I completed my first card and was quite happy with the result.  The only problem I had was that my cutting knife wasn't too good so I will need a better one to do more of these.

I had a go at making some snowflakes and Kirigami:

When I tried the second card, I was a bit ambitious with my design and it proved difficult to pull apart the paper and to stick down.  It didn't turn out quite symmetrical but at least I had a go and will know what to do next time!

I used a leaf design for my final card as I really enjoy cutting out this shape.  Here is my first go.  I put in a few leaves made from pink card to add some colour contrast. Unfortunately my card got a few dirty marks from my gluey fingers.

I redid my card to cover up the dirty marks.  I'm not sure what I think of it now!  It is certainly interesting!  Here is a picture of it before it dried:

Overall, this was a fun class, with lots of techniques to try:)
