Had a bit of fun with this self portrait. The simple mind map approach with a bank of body shapes for inspiration pushed so much of the guesswork I normally work through out of the way. I started in Illustrator and then switched to Procreate. I really wanted to add all the extra bits, but opted to stick with the simple pose to define the character instead. I think I'll go back and work on those later though!
