Blue Wren Aquarell - Üben von Einfachheit und Schattierung

Great transparency in the blue feathers and I like the detailing with the veins in the tail. I think the leg needs to be slightly wider relative to the size of the bird and don't be afraid to let the shapes mix - you can absolutely put the wing on the right in while the chest is wet and let it bleed in so it looks more joined, you just need to have a damp clean brush ready to push it back if it spreads too far.

Practiseing watercolour but its a lot harder than it looks, will have to try again and see if i can improve, as i can see where i have gone wrong. A really good lesson though.
