Artful Inspriations

It was such a fun and addictive class. I watched your tutorial a few weeks back but didn’t take the time to gather material. Then Carmen shared her projects, which inspired me to get busy.
First, I connected my brain's sides. I was surprised that I could even manage anything with my left hand, especially at the same time as my right hand. This was a fun exercise and something quick and easy to assemble when I find I need to get warmed up!
Next, I decided to get dirty and went back to kindergarten with finger paints, though I was like you and used gloves. The second one I did started out with a big blob of yellow, so thinking sun, I kind of went with it. The first one was better just as an abstract for a background for future use.
Next up was the “Blob Art,” which brought back such fun childhood memories. I had so much fun; since the mess had already started, I did four of them. Then, I decided to capture what I could see in the blobs. FUN! I saw a theater wolf mask (my favorite) in one of them. Then, I did a prominent-headed character. As a kid, I drew these big-headed characters with small or no bodies and enormous feet, which I kind of saw in that one. One of them, I turned sideways, as I saw reflected mountains, trees, and water, and one of them was a montage of two silly ducks, an umbrella, a funky frog, and a butterfly. Too much fun! Two were done on printed paper bags I have had for 25 years. (I used to work in an art store and kept everything)! I did all the drawings in Procreate, which I am not too good at!
Thanks, Cornelia, for reminding us to play and have fun like when we were kids. :)
I might need to come back here and there for some warm-up refreshers!
