Ivy Lace Knicker Sewing Pattern

Say good bye to boring briefs with the Ivy pattern! Ivy is a great pattern for those who wish to make something a bit more special whilst keeping the same comfort as your favourite comfy undies. The Ivy features side panels of stretch scallop lace and a centre panel of a comfy stretch fabric. You can choose an ivory for a beautiful bridal knicker, or use a bright colour for a cute, playful knicker, the choice is yours.

The Ivy is a medium to full bum coverage and can be made in a high waist or a classic hip knicker version to suit your style. The high waist comes to just above your belly button whilst the classic knicker version sits at the hips. The leg openings are of standard height.

You will learn how to make these knickers on a sewing machine by using the instructions booklet which has lots of photos, showing you every step. There is even a dedicated lace guide to show you how to work with scallop lace, so you don’t need to worry about working with lace. You will learn how to insert a neat invisible gusset and gusset liner, how to apply lingerie elastic and incorporate both stretch and lace fabrics together. This pattern is perfect for you if you want to develop your basic lingerie making skills further, learning to work with lace to create something a bit more special.

This pattern is an intermediate level pattern, but if your are a beginner don't let that put you off, as you will receive a comprehensive instructions booklet showing you every step of the way!
