My name is Charlotte I grew up in a tiny Frisian city in the Dutch countryside, where I spent my days drawing, daydreaming and going on adventures in the fields around our town. As a kid, I knew I wanted to do something creative when I grew up, just not exactly what...turns out that I like to do *almost* everything! I sew, knit, embroider, draw, paint, make cold process soap, built my own pc, tried pottery.
After years as a professional maker, working for fashion designers, designing and producing my own women's wear label, I've found that what brings me the most joy is making for friends, family and myself and teaching. Nothing beats a home and wardrobe filled with handmade items, and I love that I get to share those maker skills here on Skillshare!
