Hi Vipul, thank you for posting your project! I noticed you posted this project in my other class on Filmmaking which is great, I'll try to offer feedback for both in the same reply and copy/paste it in both classes.First off, excellent job! There's a great story here, and I can see so much effort went into this and it's paid off. I don't know exactly what your camera settings were so I cannot speak directly to that but I can say that it does look like an appropriate exposure (those shots in the second half with daylight look fantastic) and consistent motion blur throughout. I'm not sure if you added grain in post, or if that is camera noise, either way, I like the aesthetic and I think it works well with this piece.The colours, look good and you've created a suitable look that makes some of those location shots pop. nice use of greens. I love the sound design you implemented. The ringing alarm ascending and the music fading when you wake up adding to the story and helping create clear communication for what is happening on screen. Also bringing attention to music, and real-world sounds by fading in and out at different points throughout the film helped create some separation between ideas/moments and also helped keep me engaged. My immediate thought on the sound effects would be to try to explore more layers in your sound, perhaps add some risers in there during the alarm, maybe vary the whoosh sounds during the cooking sequence or make each whoosh sound a bit different by layering low and high-frequency whooshes. Also, watch out for some of those hotter sound effects like the shower at 1:37/1:38 and the sip at 1:44/1:45. I know this takes more time but I think considering/trying out these notes can take this to the next level. The music choices were on point, both tracks seemed so different yet both added to the overall tone and helped create different moods throughout the film that took me on a journey, great work!!Overall, I can see you were intentional with your choices and paid attention to the smaller details, and that's added to the story of your edit. this is a short video that I created after watching your camera and editing classes. I did post this project in your camera class too. Just a day in my life during the lockdown in India. The language you hear at the end of the video is Hindi. Hope you like it. Do tell me how I can improve.
