I decided to refresh a logotype I designed a couple of years ago for Yello! Art Prints (Below).

On reflection, I think the logo is a little plain and lacks warmth, and would benefit from having a hand-drawn look to reflect the handmade art and crafts Yello! sell in their Etsy shop. 

 

 

I began by exploring some ideas by hand in my sketchbook then inked up my sketches on my iPad.

 

Flesh it out in Illustrator.

 

The design accommodates a strapline whilst maintaining a solid rectangular shape.
