I think I personally like the images without the black outline. It’s not my style. But I am glad I tried it. Glad I did the assignment-it was a good challenge. :D

I did kind of cheat. I created this on my iPad. Instead of with watercolor. My world is manipulating digital images, so this way worked best for me. 

I am loving this workshop!

 

UPDATED:

being completely inspired by playing on themes and variations, I ran with this peony image. (Found that while I personally love to look at doodle flowers, it’s not my personal style.) 

The line image in the center is where all of these variations started.

Then I started created more surface pattern styles. These need some work. Serious work. Lol.
